Father Crime
The next morning, Leo and Panther got up forty-five minutes early before Zeng can ring the morning gong. Leo left a note before they left the room. The two entered the kitchen and Panther puts two small plates of bean buns. They ate in silence. After washing the dishes, Panther turns around to look him.
"You guys train after breakfast?" Panther asks him.
"Yes, except when we have the day off." Leo answered.
"Then what do you do after breakfast while everyone is still sleeping?"
"Meditation at the Peach Tree." he replied. "Want to join?"
"Lead the way." Panther said.
The morning gong rang. The Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior quickly stood before Shifu while their guests got up.
"Good morning, master." the six warriors said.
"Goo-" Shifu was saying but stopped as he notices Leo didn't come out his room. He walks over and opens the door to find the room was empty. There was a note left on the bed. Shifu read the note and left the room.
"Where's Leo and Panther?" Po asked.
"They're at the Peach Tree meditating, according to the note Leo left." Shifu answered. "Tigress. Viper. I want you two bring Leo and Panther at the Hall Of Heroes after breakfast since our guests will be leaving."
"Yes Master." Tigress and Viper said together.
After breakfast, Tigress and Viper heads over to the Peach Tree. When they were approaching the tree, Tigress can hear Leo and Panther talking in low voices and could make out of what they're saying.
"Are you sure...?" Panther was saying.
"Yes." Leo answered.
"If we..."
"No, Panther."
"Fine. We'll talk when we see each other again."
They found Leo and Panther meditating side by side.
"Leo, Panther, Shifu wants all of us gather at the Hall Of Heroes right now." Tigress said.
They all gathered at the entrance. Leo notices Zeus wasn't there with them. "Where's Zeus?" Leo wondered.
"He left the restaurant last night." Monkey informed him.
Panther, Nala, Zhi, Qiao and Du stood before them.
"Thank you for coming to the Warrior Ceremony yesterday." Shifu thanked them.
"It was an honor to see our friend to give a trophy to the Jade Palace." Qiao bows her head.
"Travel safely my friends." Shifu said to them.
After the guests left, Leo, Po and The Furious Five can do what they want since it's the weekend. Leo, Po and Tigress left the Valley Of Peace to walk in the bamboo forest to see if there's any bandits near the road and they've been walking for a couple hours.
"Leo, Tigress, I'm just saying that we should wear matching outfits so that we might feel closer." Po said.
"I agree, that's why I'm against it." Tigress said sarcastically.
"Plus, Tigress and I are close because we're in a relationship." Leo added.
"We could have hats!" Po exclaims. "I'd let you design them."
"Ok, Tigress's hat will be invisible, yours will be use to cover your mouth and I won't use my hat." Leo said.
"Ha!" Po laughed, causing Leo to look at him. "Funny... joke."
They stopped walking because they heard something.
"Sh!" Tigress shushes Po.
"What?" Po asked confused. "Shh like you heard something or shh like you're gonna strangle me?"
Leo quickly covers the panda's mouth with his hand. "Both." Leo snarls softly.
They can hear voices in the distance.
"Alright, bring him over here. Yeah that's right, bring him against the wall."
The three warriors followed the voice to a cliff. Tigress and Leo looks down from the cliff and sees Fung and his band of croc bandits cornering a short person wearing a hat. Po looks down from the cliff and saw the croc bandits. Fung took a small bag from the old man and looks inside the bag. The old man was wearing a blue robe and a rice hat.
"Are you... wha, are you fucking kidding me?" Fung growled. "What is this? You only have five fucking yuan! This wouldn't buy me a bowl of noodles."
"Uh, actually I know where you can get a bowl of noodles for two yuan." Gahri said to Fung.
"Gah!" Fung sighs. He throws his helmet on the ground and looks at Gahri. "Do you wanna do this, Gahri?! Do you wanna do my job?!"
"No, I just..." Gahri was saying nervously.
"Well- no!" Fung shot at him. "Maybe that's what we should do! Maybe we should switch jobs so you could tell me well like, "Oh I got this bowl of soup for two yuan." Yeah, you try being the leader and I'll try being the total pain in the ass, who's all like fucking interrupting!"
"Don't be like that." Gahri said.
"Gr!" Fung growled. He pushes Gahri down to the ground. Fung turns around to pick up his helmet and the old man and holds up a fist. "Give us the rest of your money, old man, or I shall smite you with the mighty wrath of my punch!"
"Tch." Leo sneered. "Not on our watch. Tigress, Po, let's move."
"That's how you do this job; direct." Fung said to his bandits. He turns to look at the old man, but it was Leo in the old man's place. Leo quickly spread the croc legs out halfway and kicks him in the balls before giving him a sidekick to the snout.
"Are you okay sir?" Po asks the old man as Tigress stands besides Po.
"Hale and hearty, my good man." the old man replied. "Despite their malitudinous intentions, those ruffians harmed me not one jot or one tipple."
"Before you move along, hand the bag over." Leo said to Fung as the bandit stood up.
"You know, normally I would, but I sort of can't do that." Fung said.
Leo took one step to make him flinch.
"Don't get me wrong, man." Fung said before he laughs nervously. "You and the tiger lady scare me. Any second now I'll be standing in a puddle. But the guy I'm working for, he scare's me a lot more."
"And who's that?" Leo asked.
"I can't tell you." Fung answered.
"Because it's Tong Fo!" Gahri exclaims.
"Tong Fo?!" Leo growled.
"Gah!" Fung sighs. "Can you believe... this is what I have to..." Fung threw his helmet to the ground. "Damit Gary!" He puts his helmet back on.
"What does Tong Fo want with the old man?" Leo asked.
Fung points at the old man. "That guy stole a lot of money from my boss."
"A boldfaced preverication sir!" the old man shouted.
"I can't go back without that money." Fung said angrily. "Tong Fo will do terrible things to me and he'll stare at me with those eyes."
"Well that's your problem." Leo said. "Hand the bag over, Fung."
Fung and his croc bandits raised their battle axes.
Leo and Tigress gets into their fighting stances.
"So be it." Tigress said.
The Dragon Warrior pushes the old man to safety before getting into his fighting stance. "Stand back." he told the old man. "Looks like things are about to get real."
"Croc Bandits attack!" Fung ordered his crocs. His crocs bandits charges at the three warriors. He saw Leo quickly coming to him and tried to attack him. Leo dodges the axe and did some several jabs to the chest before sweeping Fung off his feet and punches him to the side of the jaw.
"Hmph!" Leo stops the croc's tail by stepping on him. He picks the tail up and spins him into a wall. Leo jumps backwards over a croc's head and did the same but threw him up on the cliff with a few croc bandits.
Tigress did a kick to Gahri and another croc toward the other crocs. While everyone was fighting, the old man was slowly walking to his bag until Fung caught him.
"Hand over the money, old man." Fung threatened him, readying his fist. He started running away with Tigress going after him.
The Tiger Master ran on all fours on the wall. Once she was close, Tigress dove and grabs the old man from Fung's claws. She grabs his neck and rolls the old man to Leo.
"Perhaps I can be of assistance." the old man said, picking up his stick.
"Wait, don't!" Po cried as he was holding a few bandits over his head.
The old man flew and spun his stick knocking the bandits off Po's head. He bounces off the wall and landed between Tigress and Fung as she was dodging the axe. Fung avoided getting poke a couple times. But the old man got a hit on the croc and landed in front of Leo, Tigress and Po.
"Whoa!" Po exclaims.
"Not bad." Leo said. One of the crocs ran to the old man and punches him into the ground. "But not good." Leo said.
The crocs who was hanging on the ledge fell and hits the ground. All three warriors watches them runs away from. Before Fung ran off, he points his axe to them.
"This isn't over!" Fung shouted. "Well, this part's over but there's gonna be other parts!" Then he ran away with his bandits.
Leo growls at the croc standing in front of them, forcing the croc to run away screaming.
The Dragon Warrior picks the old man up on his feet and spun him around to face them.
"It would seem we taught those hooligans a badly needed lesson in interpersonal affiliatories, no?" the old man asks them.
"They'll never learn." Leo said.
"Shirong." Shirong introduces himself, bowing.
The three warriors bows back to them.
"I'm Po, this is Tigress and Leo." Po introduce themselves.
"Is your destination close?" Leo asks Shiron.
"It would appear so." Shirong said, turning around and walks away, causing them to follow him. "I'm on my way to visit my son at the Jade Palace."
That comment made them stopped walking.
"Your son?" Po asked him.
"Yes." Shirong said, setting down his stick and removing his hat. "His name is Shifu. Do you know him?"
Leo, Tigress and Po were surprised by that answer.
The four of them continued traveling in the bamboo forest.
"You're Shifu's dad. He's your son. My master's your son. What was he like as a kid? Was he good? Was he bad? Did he get in trouble? Did ya' spank him? What'd he play with? What'd he eat? Did he have an imaginary friend? Did he stick things up his nose? Did he ever make that ahh face? Ooh, did he wear diapers? Did they smell like Kung Fu?" Po asks him.
"Shifu was the perfect child really." Shirong replied. "His behavior was always pervestricable."
"Oh yeah. Same old... Shifu." Po takes a bite of his apple.
"Po, do you know the "Lao Gu Mystery of the Disappearing Coin"?" Shirong asks the Dragon Warrior.
"No, but it sounds cool." Po smiled.
Shirong was searching for something in pocket and couldn't find it. "Do you have a coin I could borrow?" Shirong asks Po.
Everyone stops walking and Shirong hands his belongings to Tigress as Po gives him a coin. Shirong places the coin his hand. He moves it the other hand and blows on it. He revealed his hand the coin have seemed to disappeared from his hand.
"Whoa!" Po gasps in amazement. "Can I see that again?"
"Of course." Shirong answers with a smile, holding out his hand.
The Dragon Warrior gives him another coin. Shirong made the coin disappeared from his hand.
"Hm." Tigress rolls her eyes.
Leo just shook his head as Shirong did the same magic trick four more times. The Dragon Warrior was out of money.
"You sir are good." Po said to Shirong.
Shirong turns to look at Leo. "Would you like to hand a coin to me?" Shirong asks him.
"I'd rather not." Leo replied. "And we need to keep moving. Fung and his croc bandits may return."
"I agree, Leo." Tigress said. "Let's head back to the Jade Palace."
They made it back to the Jade Palace as it was already evening. Po stops in front of the door as Shirong, Tigress and Leo followed. "Shifu is gonna be excited to see you again!" Po exclaims with excitement. "Wait, should we knock? Let's knock." He grabs Shirong and places in front of the door. The Dragon Warrior knocks on the door a couple times.
Shifu opens the door.
"Surprise!" Po shouted.
"Son!" Shirong smiled, spreading his arms apart.
But Shifu didn't say a word or smiled. He slams the door in their face. Leo and Tigress exchange looks of confusion and followed Po and Shirong into the Hall Of Heroes. Their master's back was to them.
"What're you doing here?" Shifu asks his father angrily.
"Are you still upset about... things?" Shirong asks his son as he walks up to Shifu.
"Yes." Shifu answered. He turns around to look at his father. "I am still upset about... things."
"I brought you something that might help you get your mind off it." Shirong smiled. "My fist!"
Shifu blocks the punch and delivered a couple punches with a spinning jab that his father caught. As father and son spared, the rest of the Five entered the hall and saw the fight. Viper looks up at Leo and he looks back at her, slowly shaking his head that told her do interfere.
Shirong was quick to dodge his son's flying punch and blocks his attack. But he was kicked in the stomach that sent him a few feet. Shifu quickly came in with flying side kick that sent his father a little further, giving him enough time to land a few punches. He quickly dodges his father's punches and caught both of his fists. He spread them out and delivered several palm strikes to the chest. Shifu kept striking at his father's chest and forced his father to back up in wall. The sparring was over.
"I see your skills have improved since I introduced you to Kung Fu." Shirong said. "One thing though, you never did understand strategy." He grabs a sword nearby on the wall and hits Shifu on the head with the back of the blade.
"Ow!" Shifu moaned, rubbing his head.
"Isn't marvelous, my boy?" Shirong asked him as Shifu walks a couple steps away from him. "It's just like old times."
Shifu stops walking. "If it was really old times, you would've stolen something by now... and..." He sighs. "Put it back."
"Put what-"
"Put it back." Shifu said sternly, turning around.
Shirong took the sword out of his robes and puts the weapon back into its place.
"I supposed it's best that you all find out at once." Shifu said to his students. "This is my father Shirong. He is a thief, a conman and leaving." He turns to face Shirong. "Out." Shifu pointed at the door.
"You send me out there and I won't last a day." Shirong told Shifu.
"The crocs were telling the truth; weren't they?" Tigress asks him. "You stole from Tong Fo."
"No indeed!" Shirong exclaims. "I merely sold him a priceless jade statue that didn't, actually happen to, as it were, exist. I admit the distinction is purely, infantisular but..."
"Don't do that!" Shifu snapped at him.
"What?"
"Make up words!" Shifu shouted. ""Infratisular", "Fortisrumpunate", " Rebltreffication"! Do you have any idea how confused I was a child?!"
"I assure you my motives were entirely appavustrian." Shirong tries to explain to his son.
"Get out!" Shifu pointed at the door.
"But Shifu, if you throw him out, Tong Fo will hurt him till he quits breathing." Po said to Shifu. "And you know, he is your dad."
Shifu looks at the panda and looks back at Shirong. His father smiled. The small red panda master sighs, lowering his arms. "One night."
"How can I thank you, son?"
"By leaving as soon as possible." Shifu answered. "I suggest you all lockup your valuables." Shifu walks away.
"Is it really a good idea to have your father stay here, Shifu?" Leo asked him.
Shifu sighs and turns around to look at him. "No, but we are bound by honor, Leo."
Later on that night, Leo was in his room meditating. His iPhone was safely in his pocket. If someone wanted to use or take Leo's iPhone, they would a need a Passcode and a fingerprint. That will prevent the person from using the device. The diamond sword laid on the floor in front of him.
He can hear Po and Shirong's voices down the hall. Shirong mentioned about Po and Leo saving him from the croc bandits. Leo heard Po going to his room to get a bed and sheet until he heard some commotion from the storage room. He got out of the room with his sword and heads to the storage room. Upon entering the destroyed room, Leo watched Po ran up to the hole.
"Shirong!" Po calls out.
Shifu and the Five ran inside the storage room.
"What happened?" Viper asks them as Shifu walks by him to inspect the hole in the wall.
"It must've been croc bandits." Po answered. "They guessed we'd bring Shirong here and the moment we left him alone; bam!"
"They'll take him to Tong Fo on Camelback Mountain." Tigress said. "If we hurry, we can save him."
Everyone except Leo and Shifu prepare to follow Tigress and Po out the door.
"No." Shifu said.
Everyone stops and turns around to look at him.
"Po, Leo, did you see any croc bandits?" Shifu asks them without turning around.
"No." Leo answered. "Po and I only heard Shirong yelling and crashing into stuff."
Shifu picks up the bindle. "There's no proof he was kidnapped. He could've done this all himself."
"Why would he do that?" Tigress wondered.
"Some sort of con, as always." Shifu puts the bindle down. "Undoubtedly something valuable is missing."
"But-"
"No." Shifu interrupted him, turning around and raising a hand. "I forbid any of you to go after him."
"Master Shifu-"
"That will be all, Po." Shifu said as he walks by his students.
Leo and the Furious Five leaves the storage room. Po was about to leave until something caught his eye on the floor. He bends down and picks up a small gold pendent. He was surprised.
Leo was walking through the Hall Of Heroes. He wanted to convince his master to save Shirong. But when he was walking near Shifu's room, Leo saw Tigress standing outside of the room.
"What are you doing here, Tigress?" Leo asks her as he walks up to her side.
"I wanted to talk to Shifu to let us go and save Shirong." Tigress answered. "What about you?"
"Same." Leo replied.
The two warriors began to listen Po and Shifu's conversation.
"I think your dad was really kidnapped." Po said. "Look, I found this. It's solid gold." He hands the gold pendent over to Shifu. "If he was faking, I don't think he would have left that behind."
"Trust me, this is a scam." Shifu said. "You don't know him like I do."
"But what if you're wrong?" Po asked. "I mean, he's your father. We should go after him."
"No!" Shifu exclaims in stern voice. He sighs before he explains. "You need to understand why we're not going after him. From when I was three years old, my father and I traveled to different villages together selling ancient magical talismans that were supposed to cure the sick."
"Wow!" Po smiled. "Where can I get one of those things?"
"They were fake, Po."
"Every night I'd stay up late carving talismans and painting them to look old." Shifu continues explaining. "Sometimes we would get out of a village before people noticed the talismans were fake. When I was twelve, my father sat me down in front of the Jade Palace and told me he'd be back in five minutes."
"Did he come back?"
"Oh he did come back." Shifu answered. "About ten years later." Shifu turns around and looks at the wooden sword. "Traded us this golden sword for food and supplies."
"Uh, that's wood." Po pointed out.
"Exactly." Shifu said, turning around to look at him. "Whenever my father shows up, it's always a trick. Well, he's not going to make a sucker out of me this time." He watches the Dragon Warrior begins to leave the room and stops in the doorway.
"Think about it." Po said. "Your can steal anywhere. He wouldn't come all the way here, unless he wanted to see you."
Shifu remained silent for a while until he broke the silence. "Goodnight, Po."
The Dragon Warrior was hesitant at first and he slowly leaves the room. He walks out of the Hall Of Heroes without even knowing Leo and Tigress was hiding behind a column. As Po was out of sight, Leo and Tigress steps out of their hiding place.
"So what do we do?" Leo asks Tigress. "If the croc bandits bring Shirong to Tong Fo, he'll hurt Shirong."
"But you heard what Master Shifu said, Leo." Tigress replied. "We're not going after him."
"Damn." Leo cursed.
"Come on, we need to go to bed now." Tigress said.
"You go to bed, Tigress." Leo replied. "I'm going to stay up a little more."
"Fine." She said, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight, Leo."
"Goodnight, Tigress." Leo said as he watches her leave the hall. He takes one last look at his master's room and left the hall. He stood outside of the hall with the gentle wind blowing his hair. A few questions began to come up in his mind. Why can't Shifu save his father after all he's done? Doesn't a family protect one another and helps each other?
After Leo was thinking, he came to a decision to disobey his master's order and rescue his master's father. Leo ran down the Thousand Steps. He hops onto a nearby roof to run and jump from each roof, making sure not to disturb anyone sleeping. Leo made it to the bamboo forest. But he stopped running for a good reason.
"Where in the fucking hell is Camelback Mountain?" Leo thought. "Hm? What's that?" He walks over to a nearby boulder and saw a destroyed area. "This must be place that the hammer slipped out of Po's paws and destroyed the valley around here. And I think I found the mountain, or what's left of it anyway." Leo followed the path to the mountain. But on his way to the mountain, Leo stops as he heard some rustling behind the bushes. He dove behind the boulder.
"Shit." Leo thought. "They must be patrolling the area right now. I'll get the drop on them before they get me." The rustling stopped. Leo quickly got up on top of the boulder and he was tackled to the ground. He felt the claws on his shoulders.
"Leo?" Tigress asked confused, their noses barely touching.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Leo asked confused.
"Did Shifu send you to bring Po and me back?"
"Leo?" Po looks confused, walking up to them.
"You can let me stand up now, Tigress."
Tigress got off him and Leo stood up. He dusted the dirt off his shirt. "Now answer my question, Leo."
"Shifu didn't send me." Leo replied.
"And he didn't send Po and me too."
"Whoa!" Po gasps. "That means you disobeyed Shifu's order to rescue his dad too! Check it out, Leo, you're breaking the rules."
"It's not the first time I disobeyed an order, Po." Leo said. "Lee gave us orders to leave his father to his fate."
"His father's fate?" Tigress asked him.
"Lee's father was sent to die after hearing a rumor that his wife was spotted somewhere." Leo explains. "I disobey my master's orders and went after to save his father from his fate. But when I arrived, Lee saved his father."
"That would make your master's father your grandfather, right?" Po asked him.
Leo turned his back, crossing his arms over his chest. "Why would a child abandon their parent to their fate?" He looks at Camelback Mountain. "It's not right and no child should lose their parents."
"Then let's go save Shirong." Po said.
"I'll go on ahead and see you at Camelback Mountain." Leo said. He ran off ahead of them without saying a word.
Leo saw no one guarding the entrance. He walks inside carefully and saw Shifu chained to a pole. "Shifu!" Leo gasps. He quickly runs to his master.
"Leo, it's trap!" Shifu shouted, but it was too late. Fung smacks Leo's head, knocking him out.
A couple minutes passed by and Leo opens his eyes. He looks down and notices he was chained to a broken column. Leo notices Po was chained up to a pillar by a golden brown loris with blue sweatpants.
"Well, are we both out of surprises?" the loris asks Po.
Leo shifted his gaze over to Tigress who was caught by the other croc bandits. "Damn!" Leo growled.
The loris turns his head around and notices Leo was awake. Po took the opportunity to punch him several feet away. His punch was enough to destroy the column and the chains fell to the floor.
"And that's why they're surprises." Po smirked.
Leo dove forward, breaking free of his chains. He stood beside Po and stares at the loris. The loris's narrowed his big amber eyes. "And who the hell are you?" Leo snarls at him.
"I am Tong Fo." Tong Fo introduced himself. "I was wondering if you were going to show up after I was defeated by this idiot panda."
"I'm not going to tell you shit!" Leo snarls at him. He lunge at Tong Fo with both palm strikes.
Tong Fo jumps backwards from the two palm strikes and delivered several punches and kicks. Leo blocks the punches and kicks with ease. He caught the kick and did a jump knee strike to the chest before slamming both fists to Tong Fo's head.
He was on his way to save Tigress while Po try to free Shifu, but he was stopped by Fung. Leo growled and threw in several punches at the leader. Fung dodges his punches and tries to smack him in the head like before with the bamboo staff. But Leo caught the staff and pokes the croc's snout several times before doing a spinning axe kick and a sweep off his feet. He saw Shirong giving him a thumbs up.
Leo nodded his head and motioned his head to Tong Fo then back to him. Shirong winks at him. He turns around to see Tong Fo punching the beam with the Dragon Warrior hanging by the ankle. "You better surrender now, Tong Fo!" Leo called him. "The rest of the Furious Five followed us here! This trap is a setup!"
"What?!" Tong Fo gasps.
"Come see!" Shirong called him.
Tong Fo jumps off from the beam and landed near Shirong. "Where are they?!" he shouted.
Shirong trips him over and pushes him to the side with a spin. He runs over to his son. "That my son, is strategy."
"You came back, for me." Shifu said.
"Yes son." Shirong smiled. "I finally came back."
The two of them enjoyed their moment of joy until Tong Fo came in between them and attack Shirong. Shirong dodges his attacks and attacks back with a palm strike and some punches. Tong Fo dodges a punch and landed on the beam. The Dragon Warrior grabs him from above, giving Shirong the chance to free Shifu. After freeing Shifu, Shirong bends his knees to cup his hands. He gave Shifu a small boost on the beam and joined him.
Leo ran to a column while three of them fight. When he was close to the column, Leo jumps and did several wall kicks to get to the top. He knew he couldn't jump to the other beam because it might get too heavy so Leo stayed where he was, waiting for the opportunity to strike.
Shifu and Shirong began throwing punches at Tong Fo, forcing him block the punches. The father and son duo punches him at the same time, sending Tong Fo onto another beam that was supported by a beam. Shifu and Shirong landed on two different destroyed beam. Tong Fo climbs to the side of the beam and pushes it to Shirong.
Shifu looks over and gasps when he saw the beam heading towards Shirong. "No!" he shouted, jumping onto his father. Shifu took the hit and was pushed off.
Tong Fo leans back to bring the beam back to Shirong. Shirong couldn't avoid it in time as he got pinned to the column. Tong Fo stood proud. He readied his fist to attack Shirong. As Tong Fo was distracted, Shirong notices his son's paw behind Tong Fo underneath. Then he came up with a quick plan.
"Do you know the Lao Gu Mystery of the Disappearing Coin?" Shirong asks him.
Tong Fo raises his eyebrows. Shirong took out a coin from inside his robe and drops it into his paw. He rubs it and blows on it to disappear. Tong Fo punch but he missed as Shirong thrust his arm forward to bring forth the sword out of his robe.
Shifu came out of his hiding place and caught the sword. He hits Tong Fo on the back of the head.
"Ow!" Tong Fo yelled as he fell off he beam and landed on Fung's snout.
Shifu and Shirong lands in front of them in their fighting stances. The croc bandits became scared and drops Tigress, running around and yelling as Tigress walks away. The croc bandits try to run out the door, but they all tripped, blocking the way out.
"You haven't seen the last of-" Fung was saying to them as he walks backwards and ends up tripping over his bandits. "Damn it." he groaned as they all run away from them with Tong Fo.
"Thank you." Shifu thanks his father, bowing to him.
"I thank you and the people you taught." Shirong thanks his son and bows in return.
Tigress stands besides the upside down Dragon Warrior.
"Ha ha!" Po chuckled. "Sweet, huh?" He nudges Tigress on the shoulder, making her angry and crossing her arms. The Dragon Warrior heard the chain cut in half by Leo's axe kick and landed on the ground. Tigress looks up to see her boyfriend standing above them on the beam.
Leo lands besides Tigress. "Let's head back to the Jade Palace." Leo told them.
They all agreed.
After everyone got some sleep, morning came for the Valley of Peace. Leo was sitting down at the Peach Tree. He watches Shifu and Shirong hugs each other and Shirong walks away. It was good that Shifu saved his father. But a question did come into his mind. Would he abandon his parents to their unknown faith after what Prince Sying did if Leo finds his parents?
That was a question Leo could not answer. There were questions for him that needed to be answered. He still remembers of what he said back in Gongmen Jail to the Dragon Warrior and the Furious Five. There are times that Leo wonders if his parents survived. That is the one answer he wants to hear and not.
Not to mention the nightmares are getting worse for him every night and the appearances of the clone Saber and Enya who somehow returned. Leo had to make sure to tell Panther about Enya since he missed his chance yesterday. He only hope that these situations can be taken care of and if not, Leo will have no choice but to explain all of this to them.
I gotta say this chapter was fun to work on, not mention it was finally time for Leo meet Tong Fo since Leo was on a mission given by the Emperor himself in Chapter 6.
