To Let Go Of The Past

The Furious Five and Leo were sent to find Taotie and his son after Shifu learned Po saw Taotie this morning. Leo had spent half an hour in the bamboo forest and found no sign of Taotie. He heads back to the village to meet up with the others in the square. As he was walking in the village, Leo sees Bian Zao sitting on the steps. He hops onto the roof without being seen. While Bian Zao was sitting on the steps, Leo lands on the ground silently and knocks out Bian Zao with a chop to the back of the neck.

He walks by the unconscious warthog and around the corner, Leo saw Taotie giving Po a pair of nun chucks. There was a blade at each end and Po throws it to a building. Leo didn't waste time as he jumps towards the spinning nun chucks and caught them. He kicks off the side of the building and landed in front of the Dragon Warrior, drawing his diamond sword. "What the fucking hell is going on and why is Taotie giving you a fucking present?" Leo asks Po.

"Guys, Taotie changed." Po answered to them. "He's gone straight."

"I don't believe that bullshit, Po." Leo growled. "Taotie is a fucking villain, damnit."

"Please stop." Taotie said, walking up besides Po. "He's my friend. And that means more to me than you ever know. When I was a lad, the only companion I had was a young goat. I called him Goaty. We were inseparable. I even showed him my first invention. The Magnificent Magnifier. I was so proud. But Goaty was jealous of my talent. He stole the Magnificent Magnifier and mocked me. Goaty's betrayal wounded me deeply. Later on, Shifu would turn against me. As did my mother. My father. And my uncle! Who I never really liked anyway. And then there's the clerk at that cart wash I go to."

"I'll jump right in here." Po said. "Taotie just need a friend who believes in him. And I want to be that friend."

The Furious Five looks at Po in disgust as Leo glares at him.

"I want to be that friend." Po said, looking at Taotie before looking back at his friends. "Just... just give me a few days to convince you."

The Five continued to look at the Dragon Warrior disgusted.

"Okay." Mantis said, stepping forward. "Ok, Po. But if we're not convinced, we'll be coming for Taotie."

The Five turns around and walks away from Po and Taotie.

Tigress stops and turns around. "And my guess is that Shifu will be coming for you." she said coldly before walking with the rest of the Five.

"I'm not fully convinced, Po." Leo said, raising his blade to point at the panda. "Taotie is a villain and he can't be trusted. All villains can't be trusted no what matter they say."

"Come on, Leo." Po said to him. "Can't you give me a few days to convince you?"

"No." Leo said. "Step aside."

"Leo." Tigress said, walking up to him with Viper and placing a paw on his shoulder, causing him to turn his head towards her. She gestured him to follow her and Viper with the others.

Leo turns his head to the Dragon Warrior and drops Po's nun chucks before leaving with Tigress and Viper. The three of them joined the rest of the Five. They were walking on the steps to the Jade Palace. Leo walked behind the Five a few feet away from them. As they were walking on the steps, Tigress looks over her shoulder and notice Leo looking over his shoulder to the valley below. Shifu stood at the top of the steps where he was waiting for them.

"Did you found Taotie and his son?" Shifu asks them.

"We found them." Leo answered with a sneer. "And listen to this." He explained what happened in the village.

After Leo was finished explaining, Shifu sighed angrily.

"What do we do, Master?" Leo asks him. "Surely we can't trust the panda's decision."

"I agree." Shifu said. "But if Po can convince us if Taotie has gone straight, then we'll let him for now."

Leo said nothing and walks by him to head to the Training Hall.

Tigress was walking to the Peach Tree where Leo will usually be. She hasn't seen him in an hour after he explained what happened. When Tigress approached the Peach Tree, Leo wasn't there. If Leo isn't here, than he would be in the library, that she knew. But he wasn't there as well when the feline master arrived.

"Leo might be at the barracks." Tigress thought. She walks out of the library Crane sweeping the floor. "Crane, have you seen Leo?" Tigress asks him.

"I haven't seen him this afternoon since he asked Shifu to train in the Wu Dan Mountain alone and won't be back until tomorrow." Crane answered.

"When?"

"Right after he left the Training Hall."

"But why?"

"I don't know, maybe it has something to do with Po's idea." Crane suggested.

"Hm." Tigress said.

It was the evening in the Wu Dan Mountains. Leo stood with his arms to the side. He inhaled and exhaled the mountain air through his nose that was running his lungs. Leo widen his legs a bit and spreads his arms out before bringing his left hand to his right hand while pointing two fingers with each hand. He moves left hand up his right arm, down to the stomach and points in the opposite direction.

"Damn it." Leo sighed.

"Having trouble?"

Leo felt a powerful punch to his abdomen that sent him flying several feet down the hill. Getting up, Leo saw Enya with her arms folded. "No." Leo wipes the blood off his nose. "You came at the perfect time to die and stay in hell where you belong!" he yelled. Leo quickly charges at her as he drew his sword.

Enya blocks the attack before snatching the sword out of his hand and grabbing his wrists. She began her attack by hitting Leo at the hilt of the sword and her kicks. Leo saw an opening and uses his foot against her own to give him enough force to break free and slams her with both fists. But his attack missed as Enya jumps backwards and throws the sword at him.

"Hmph!" Leo jumps backwards to avoid the sword and caught the sword before landing on his feet, glaring at her with anger. He charges her at again.

She sees him jumps to the left and thought Leo was going to attack. Leo was going to attack, but he jumps to the other side quickly and did a spinning jump towards Enya and thrust his sword with his eyes close.

"Hm." Enya said behind him as he stands up and opening his eyes. "Not enough strength that you did just now. You're still sloppy as ever. Perhaps you need another lesson."

"Yeah right." Leo snarled "The only lessons I need is from my master, not you."

"I remember a time where you-"

Leo didn't give her a chance to finish her sentence and did a spinning thrust. Enya wasn't there as if she disappeared into thin air.

"We'll meet again." Enya's voice echoed.

The next day, Leo finished his training and was on his way to the Jade Palace. The Jade Palace was in sights. He looks to his right to see a giant cyclops robot flying in the air and attack Crane. "Damn it!" Leo cursed. He quickly jumps off the cliff towards the village.

"What's the matter, Po?" Taotie taunted Po as he watches the Dragon Warrior struggled against the Auto-ambulate Adapto-bot. "Do you need assistance?"

"Dad, this is lame." Bian Zhao said to his dad. "What kind of lame loser destroy his best friend?"

"Quiet son." Taotie said to his son before looking back at his robot. "Daddy's busy."

"But he even got you a present." Bian Zhao said. "It's probably lame, but still."

"Hm." Taotie said. "Might as well take a look." He opens the box and gasps. "It's, it's a magnificent magnifier, just like the one Goaty stole from me."

Before the robot can spit out fire, Leo lets out a roar and slams the head with both of his fists. He lands several feet away from the robot. The robot fired its claw at Leo. Leo simply dodges the claw and lunges towards the chest with a multi-hit combo. The robot took the hits and flew across two feet. It got up from the ground and slams Leo into a wall.

Leo shook his head and saw Po trapped inside the claws of the robot. He didn't waste any time by getting and slicing one of legs off the robot. It caused the robot to let Po free from its grasp and fell forward. Leo drew his blade. "Time to end this!" Leo shouted.

Leo lunges towards the robot as the robot's head lunge at him too. He dodges the lunge by jumping high enough with his sword high above his head slices the robot in half, causing the robot to explode. Pieces of the robot was all over the place. Leo walks by Po, who runs behind Taotie, to the Furious Five. "Everyone ok?" Leo asks them.

"Yeah, but I hurt my right wing." Crane answered.

Leo helps Tigress to her feet. Everyone looked at the destruction. "Let's bring Taotie to prison."

After the Dragon Warrior and the Five was bringing Taotie to prison, Leo was sitting down with his legs crossed meditating at the Peach Tree that late afternoon. He didn't stick around long in the village and left before glaring at Po. While he was meditating, he can hear footsteps behind him.

"I heard you and the others fought Taotie's robot." Panther said behind him.

"Panther." Leo said, opening his eyes and looking over his shoulder. "What are you doing here and who told you that?"

"Master Ox gave me a few days off so I thought I'd come here and hangout with you guys." Panther answered. "Plus, Po and Tigress told me what happened."

Leo didn't say a word.

"I know you don't trust villains, Leo." Panther said. "But if the world is in danger that's far too powerful for us, then we need to put aside our differences to work together, for example."

"There's no way I'll trust a villain like Taotie." Leo sneered. "They're all fucking scum. Zhao, Sying... and Eyna."

"Well, they're all dead now."

"I wouldn't be too sure about it Enya, Panther." Leo stands up from the ground and folding his arms.

"What do you mean by that, Leo?" Panther asked him.

"I just fought her last night and the other night before."

"What?" Panther gasps, turning Leo around. "But she's dead. No one could've survived that."

"Enya always have an ace up her sleeve and I don't think this is a shape shifting demon."

"Does the others know about Enya?"

"No, they don't. I didn't tell them about Enya and I had to lie to Tigress about cutting my hands."

"Leo, did you see Enya last night?"

"Saw her? I just fought her last night!" Leo yelled, turning around to face her. "The next time I see her, I'll watch her die before my eyes."

Panther said nothing.

"I used to be her apprentice." Leo snarled. "I should've killed Enya when she figured me out."

"It took all of us to bring her down." Panther replied.

"I know." Leo said. "I won't forgive myself for what I've done when I was her apprentice."

"But do you forgive yourself now?"

"No, because I'll never let go of the past." Leo answered.

Panther watches him walk away from her. She hopes Leo will let go of his past.
