Enter The Dragon Part 2
Leo kept on running with Panther, who was close to him. They kept on running for many miles without breaking a sweat and taking a break. The two humans stopped by a river for a drink. Leo cracks his neck after drinking the water. He looks back the way they came.
"LEAVE! You are no use to any of us!"
Leo didn't say a word as he turns his head back to the river and notice Panther giving him a "We're not done" look. He nodded his head, and the two humans resumes running.
Ke-Pa is still holding Shifu dispense in the air. "And now to get the Hero's Chi and the Red Gem." the demon snarled. He drops the red panda on the ground. "My family is trapped, and I will free my brethren!"
"Shifu!" Tigress yelled as the Furious Five rushes to their master.
Ke-Pa used his telekinesis to throw them away with a flick of claw. He throws Shifu in the air and flies towards him without hesitating to push him through a building.
"Gah!" Shifu grunted as he skids across the road and hits a building. "That's it." Shifu groaned, standing up. "Keep it up, smash me to bits and the Hero's Chi will just fly away. You'll never be able to free the other demons except-"
Ke-Pa grabs him and lifts him to his eye-level. "Without what?" Ke-Pa asked him. Shifu didn't respond. "Without what?!" he yelled, squeezing him.
"Without... Zhuangzi's Funnel." Shifu moaned.
"Of course." Ke-Pa smiled. He turns around and sees Fung and Gahri trying to run away. Ke-Pa blocks their escape with his tail, forcing the two bandits to look up. "You there. Now, would you like to help or die?"
"Um, well we were thinking maybe we could just leave." Fung answered nervously.
Ke-Pa scorns them.
"After helping." Fung hugs Gahri out of fright.
The dragon drops Shifu's limp body in front of the bandits. "Lock him up until I'm ready for him." Ke-Pa ordered them before flying away.
Later on that night, the Furious Five were gathered around the table.
"I'm worried about Shifu." Viper said.
"We have got to rescue him." Monkey said.
"Not just that." Viper shakes her head. "I mean the way he treated Po and Leo."
"Po screwed this up." Mantis said angrily. "He had his head so far up his action figure he couldn't see straight."
"But sending him and Leo away?" Crane questioned them "That's not the right thing to do now."
"Agreed." Monkey agreed with Crane. "I don't want to against Shifu, but Po is the Dragon Warrior and Leo..."
"He should've waited for all of us to come together and take Ke-Pa down." Mantis added.
"But what about Panther?" Viper asks them.
"She must've went after him." Monkey suggested.
"And to have any chance against Ke-Pa, we'll need all the help we can get." Tigress spoke up. "We need to bring Po back and Panther will come back with Leo."
The two humans had kept running many more miles. They kept on running until Leo saw Nala sitting at a campsite with the others.
"Leo?" Nala looks up at them as they stop in front of them. "Panther? What's going on? What happened?"
After the two humans caught their breath, Leo explained what's happening at the Valley Of Peace.
"Son of a bitch." Zhi cursed.
"I know." Leo said. "Which is why I'm heading back to the mountain where I was healed by that black panther."
"For what?" Zhi asked him.
"To see if those three know something of how to undo the seal inside me." Leo answered.
"A black panther?" Nala asked confused.
"I'll tell you later. Right now we need to find that mountain." Leo told her.
"But hang on, Leo." Panther places her hand on his shoulder. "Do you remember the way back to that mountain?"
Leo folds his arms and tried to remember the mountain. "Fuck, I don't remember!" Leo cursed, raising his hands to his head.
"How the hell can you not remember?!" Panther yelled.
"I must've doze off when I went through the sea of fog with them!" Leo shouted to the sky. "You've got to be fucking kidding me!"
"Then how the hell do we defeat Ke-Pa?" Nala wondered.
"Hm." Panther crossed her arms.
"I'll come up with some plans that could help." Leo said. "But before I do that, Panther and I need to eat something because we ran so many miles."
"Here." Bu gestured them over to the pot. "We have some rice and soybeans."
"After that, Bu, you and I will return to the village to tell the elder of this matter." Qiao said, standing up. "Hopefully the elder knows what to do."
Back in the Valley Of Peace, the Furious Five were sneaking across the roofs under the starry night. They made it to the building where Shifu is being kept. Tigress gestured the rest of the five to land behind Fung and Gahri. She watches them push the bandits away up against the wall and landed on her feet. The feline looks through the cells and sees her master meditating.
"Master, are you alright?" Tigress asks him softly. "I'm getting you out of here."
Shifu stops meditating. "No." he raised his hand.
Tigress just punched the first barred gate to the cell room. "No?" Tigress asked confused. Why would Shifu say no? She walks up to his cell.
"I have a plan." Shifu said. "There's a chance to take Ke-Pa down and as a group, I think you and the Five can defeat him."
"Shifu, I know your angry at them, but we need Po and Leo." Tigress told him "I'm sending Monkey and Crane to bring them back.
"What? No." Shifu gasps.
"But they're valuable." Tigress tries to reason him.
"They're too valuable."
"I don't understand." Tigress said, not understanding.
"I didn't send them away because I was angry at them." Shifu said. "Tigress, listen to me. I don't have the Hero's Chi. Po has the Hero's Chi."
"What? Po has the Hero's Chi? Really?" Tigress asks him if he was joking.
"Yes." the red panda answered. "I sent him away to protect him and to protect us all. If Po returns and Ke-Pa gets his chi all is lost."
"Then what about the Red Gem?" Tigress asks him.
"I don't have the Red Gem as well."
"Does that mean Leo have it?"
"I'm not sure. No one knows where the Red Gem is."
"But why did you have to send Leo away?"
"Because it was Leo's idea."
"What? When?"
"Right after I sent everyone to make preparations. He requested, with all due respect, to send him away if the situation gets worse. Leo didn't explain why but he promised to explain once this is over. But if he does find the Red Gem and return here, then all is lost. And as for the Hero's Blood which is also known as the Red Gem, I came across it in one of the scrolls when Leo arrived here. There's not alot of information on it."
"So what do we do?"
"Ke-Pa will surround me with Zhuangzi's Funnel and will crush me to extract the Hero's Chi. The funnel's energy will have him weak and that's the moment when all you must strike."
"Very well." Tigress bows. "I'll-" But she cuts herself off as something came into mind and stops bowing. "Wait, how will you survive that?"
"I won't." Shifu answered.
This answer stuns Tigress.
"As long as Ke-Pa thinks I have the Hero's Chi and the Red Gem, he won't be able to free the other demons, even if he does get the Hero's Chi. But we must keep Po and Leo away and take advantage of our... opportunities."
"An opportunity that will get you killed." Tigress said, kneeling down in front of her master to his eye level. "I... Master..."
"I know you are not one for emotional words, Tigress." Shifu places his hand on the tiger's paw. "I also know you above all understand the need for sacrifice."
The feline master closes her eyes and stands up.
"Now go and get everyone ready." Shifu ordered her.
Tigress turns around and walks out of the cell before taking one last glace at Shifu. She jumps outside and land on the roof where the rest of the Five were waiting.
"Tigress, where's Shifu?" Monkey asks her.
"He's staying there."
"What?" Crane gasps. "Why?"
"Shifu's lost it." Monkey said. "Let's get our friends back."
They were about to set off. "No." Tigress stops them, causing the team to look at her. "Having them coming back here is the worst thing that could happen."
The rest of the Five glances at each other in confusion.
Meanwhile, the girls skid across from each other. The three of them were panting after sparring for several hours. Whenever they have a short break, Panther would glance at Leo. He was sitting away from several feet in a lotus position. She can hear him growling angrily while he was thinking of a plan. Leo didn't join them after lunch as he spent most of the day coming up with ideas and plans on how defeat a powerful demon.
The three girls walks over to the campfire and sat down. There was silence underneath the night sky. Panther stands up and walks over to Leo with a bowl of rice and vegetables. "Leo, I brought you some food." she said, kneeling besides him.
Leo opens his eyes. "I'm not hungry, Panther." Leo shifts his eyes to her. His stomach lets out a growl. "Alright fine." She offers him the bowl and chopsticks and started eating. After he was done, Du and Qiao came back.
"Well?" Nala asks her as she stands up.
Qiao stops in front of her. She shook her head in silence. "The elder doesn't know about the Red Gem or where it is." She answered.
"But hopefully you told Shifu about the White Tail Tigress inside you, Leo." Bu said, shifting his gaze toward the human.
Leo shook his head in response.
"What?" the lynx gasped. She walks past Nala up to him at Panther's side. "Why the hell didn't you tell Shifu and the others about it sooner?"
Everyone's eyes were on Leo.
"Because it's my problem to deal with." Leo replied. "I didn't know that she was inside me when I got back from my last mission the emperor sent me on several months ago."
"Shit." Nala cursed. "Did you tell Shifu about it at least when you had time?"
"No. We'll talk about this later. I still need to figure out how to undo the seal inside me."
"You're going to release her?" Qiao questioned him.
"I don't have a choice. If we don't get some serious backup, China and the whole world is doomed. I'm prepared for what happens next."
Qiao removes her dagger away from his neck. She nods her head towards him before walking away and joining Nala, Zhi and Du at the campfire. Leo saw Panther had a serious look on her face before she walks by him. She gestured him to follow her a few more feet away from the others.
As soon as they were out of earshot, Panther turns around. "Leo, what the hell are you even thinking about releasing Kaira? This plan of yours isn't good."
"There's no option." Leo said. "It's not permanent because this is only temporarily."
"But still, this isn't a good plan. We have to come up with something else."
"I don't have a choice." Leo replied.
"Say if we do this, what will happen? How could we know that she won't kill you?"
"We don't. We'll just wait to see what happens. Not to mention Shifu is being held captive."
"Leo..." Panther looks away from him. She threw her arms around him. "Please, be safe." Panther whispered.
Leo nodded his head as she lets go and join the others. He turns around, closing his eyes. Opening his eyes, Leo stood before the seal where Kaira is. The White Tail Tigress lowers her head to so Leo can be at eye level with her.
"I take it you were listening to everything we talked about?" Leo questions her.
"It's not like I have anything else to do than be in here." Kaira replied.
"Which is why the two of us must work together."
"And how do you propose to do that? You don't even know how to break the seal."
"I know." Leo nodded. "Which is why I is why I'm going to do this." Kaira sharpens her gaze on the human. He walks up to a gap between two bars. It looks like he can walk in the gap where Kaira can kill him. The human stops a couple of feet away from it and raise his fist.
"What are you doing?"
"I want you to touch my fist with your paw." Leo explains. "If we do that, something might happen."
"Tch." Kaira sneers at him. "Fine. But know this, human; I'm only helping you until this battle is over."
"I agree." Leo agreed. She lifts her head up and nodded. The White Tail Tigress raises her paw and puts her paw through the cell bar. Both of their fists touch one another. Nothing happened.
"Nothing happened." Kaira said.
"Damn it." Leo cursed. But then something happened. Both of them was beginning to glow, emitting a red aura. They both felt their energy was being tugged back and forth. Leo pulls his fist back as Kaira did the same. "What the hell was that?" Leo wondered. "I felt my energy leaving me."
"I'm not sure." Kaira lowers her head. "But it appears that we're not ready for that yet. And I can't be able to give you full access to my power. I can only give you a tiny bit of my power."
"I understand." Leo nodded as he turns around.
"Whatever you do out there, don't die." Kaira said, causing him to stop and look over his shoulder.
"Ok." Leo said, unsure of that last past Kaira said.
After watching Leo meditate, Panther turns her attention to the others.
"You're worried, Panther?" Nala asks her.
"Yes. I'm worried about Leo." Panther looks at Leo shifting her gaze back to Nala. "I'm much more worried for him since he has that thing inside him."
"So why the hell is Kaira inside of him?" Du wondered. "And how can he talk to the tiger?"
"My guess is his subconscious. I don't know how often he does it or how much time they talk without anyone knowing at the Jade Palace. But other than that, did you find Saber?"
"No." Bu replied, shaking his head. "We haven't seen her since she got caved in. Zeus found a hole near the field, but no trace of her."
"She's good, I'll give you that." Zhi folded her arms.
"Moving on from that, why are you two looking for a panther and a mountain?" Bu wondered.
"Leo is hoping if the panther knows how to undo the seal." the human explains. "He trusts them after they saved him when he was seriously injured. Leo had the strength to return to Gongmen City and killed Sying. But Leo doesn't know where the mountain is because it's surrounded by a sea of fog."
"Come on, there's so many mountains here in China." Bu pipped in. "I bet anyone would see that mountain."
"No, they wouldn't. I checked the maps and there wasn't a clue. Even Leo checked as well."
"Damn." Zhi cursed.
"We should get some sleep for an hour." Panther suggested. "Because all of us will need our strength when we return."
Bu and the girls nodded their heads. As they all said goodnight to one another, Bu notice Leo didn't move from his spot. He wondered if Leo heard them. The young teenage lion walks over to him. "Hey, Leo." Bu said, placing a paw on his shoulder. "You should get some sleep with the rest of us for an hour."
"No, Bu." Leo replied, looking over his shoulder at the teenager. "I'll be fine."
Bu sighed and nodded his head and went back to join the girls while Leo watches him. Leo turns his head forward and close his eyes to continue meditating. But Leo felt someone else's hand on his shoulder. He opens his eyes and looks over his shoulder to see Panther kneeling besides him. "You're not going to rest with us?" Panther asks him.
"I'm not." Leo answered. "I won't rest until we defeat Ke-Pa and save the valley."
"Are you sure? Or is it the nightmares again?"
Leo didn't say a word until he spoke. "You don't need to worry about me. Whatever happens, happens."
Panther threw her arms around him. "Be careful." Panther whispered. She lets go of him and walks away to rejoin the others to get some sleep. After Panther sat down next to Zhi, she lays down and closed her eyes.
Leo stands up and stretch his arms and legs. He picks up his sword and puts it on his back. The young man walks over to them and grab a couple pieces of tofu. After he was done, Leo turns and walks away from the campsite. He took one last look at the campsite before running off into the distance underneath the night sky as he has a lot of ground to cover. The first thing to do is save Shifu from Ke-Pa before taking the demon on.
Leo kept on running for many miles. It was morning now and the dark grey clouds are still in the sky. Leo ran silently on the rooftops. There were a few scared villagers in the homes that Leo can see. He shifted his gaze towards the Jade Mountain where the Jade Palace once stood. Leo jumps off the roof and landed on the ground and ran towards the bottom of the thousand steps. He began running up the stairs. The young man was close to the top.
Leo slows down. He silently jumps off to the right side of the staircase and climbs to the top. Leo laid low so he wouldn't be spotted at the edge of the crater. The villagers were moving a very large jade stone piece. There were three other pieces on top of the seal. "What the hell is that?" Leo muttered. "Shit!" He ducks his head as Ke-Pa was watching the villagers bringing the last piece. "There's not a lot of cover around here. I'm too exposed out here. I got to get close without being seen."
Meanwhile, the Furious Five was peeking over the edge of the crater.
"I don't think he need this many people for a barbecue like this." Mantis said.
"They're bringing the last piece for Zhuangzi's Funnel." the feline watches the villagers. "Ke-Pa is going to use it to free the other demons."
"By crushing Shifu?" Viper looks at her.
"Yes." Tigress gives a small nod to Viper. "We attack Ke-Pa when he gets weak."
"This whole thing is a big circle of stink." Mantis told her.
"We have to do it." Tigress gazes down at the crater. "We have to."
Back with Leo, he got on his feet and kept down. The young man spots Shifu high above the funnel, his wrists is tied up as he hung in the air. Leo took a closer look at the situation.
The demon watches the villagers setting up the last piece. He looks up at Shifu. The red panda was suspense in the air with rope tied to his wrist above the funnel. "This is an excellent effort that I'm enjoying, like I just earned it." Ke-Pa smug. "The release of my brethren demons will be that much enjoyable on top of that."
Shifu stares at him with a blank expression on his face.
"You don't have any pity wisdom to say? Lofty moral judgements before your death?"
"What should happen will." Shifu finally answered.
"How very mastery of you, Shifu. I couldn't agree with you more. Zen-like acceptance."
"Ke-Pa!" Fung calls to him.
"What?!" Ke-Pa turns his head around, snapping at the two bandits as his voice echoes throughout the air.
"That's like a big... sound." Fung said to Garhi before looking up at Ke-Pa. "One last piece and the funnel will be ready."
Ke-Pa laughs evilly and insane as he took off in the air. The last piece was in place.
"He's going to kill him." Leo muttered after taking a closer look.
"Release him!" Ke-Pa ordered.
Fung raised his axe and cuts the rope. The Five watches in horror and Leo growls lowly as their master falls into the funnel. Shifu slams into the hard ground. Ke-Pa begins to wrap himself at the base of the funnel and begins to squeeze it tightly. He begins to enter into a trance, making his eyes go red. Shifu stands up and watches the walls closes in and finally starts struggling. Everyone could see several bursts of blue light from the funnel.
"Leo." Panther said, kneeling next to him.
"Panther." Leo shifts his gaze to her. "Where's Nala and the others?"
"They're on the other side of the crater, getting ready to attack." Panther replied.
"Try to keep Ke-Pa distracted for me."
"What about you?"
"I'm going to get Shifu out of there. Once him and I are out, we'll kill this demon bastard."
Panther nodded her head.
"Shifu!" a voice cried out.
Leo and Panther look towards the top of the staircase and saw Po.
"Go Panther!" Leo shouted. Panther ran towards Ke-Pa.
As the rest of the Five began to attack Ke-Pa, Panther and the others joins them as the rest of the Five were surprised.
"Shifu!" Po yelled. He dodges a punch from Tigress. "I have to get through, Tigress."
Tigress went on the offensive desperately and the panda dodges her attacks. "No Po, you don't-"
"Ke-Pa is going to kill him." Po's fist was caught by her paw.
"I know."
"Are you completely nuts?!"
"Listen, Po!" Tigress shouted, tackling him to the ground.
"No Tigress." Po grunted, pushing her off of him. "This is Leo's and my fault. Shifu needs to be rescued."
"Hurry Tigress!" Nala shouted.
Tigress becomes distracted as she sees the rest of the Five struggling with the others. She jumps onto Ke-Pa's face and starts kicking him in the face repeatedly.
"Keep attacking!" Shifu shouted from inside the funnel.
Everyone kept attacking the demon. The Five gathered around his face and continued their attack. Their assault brought the demon out of his trance and breaks free of the ropes. He suspends them all in the air.
"Oh sure, attack a guy while he's in a trance. But guess what, all of you have failed." Ke-Pa snarls, pushing the funnel tighter with a free claw. "And since all of you are down, I'll finally take you all out!" He clenches them all, making them yell and shout in pain.
As Ke-Pa was distracted, Leo climbs on top of the funnel. He ran towards the center and sees his master inside the funnel at the bottom. There was enough room for him to pick Shifu up. Leo jumps in without hesitation. He lands in front of him and cuts his bond.
"Human!" Shifu gasps weakly as he saw Leo. "N-"
"Save your energy." Leo cut him off. "Time to get the hell out of here." He picks up his master in his arms and jump high before doing several wall kicks to get out where he saw Po.
"Leo?" Po gasps as he saw them both. "Shifu!" The human hands him over and the Dragon Warrior kneels down.
"Master, are you alright?" Leo asks him, kneeling next to him.
"It's you." Shifu said weakly to them.
"Yeah, Shifu." Po gave him a small smile. "It' Leo and me."
"No. It's you."
Leo took a deep breath and stood tall. "I understand."
"Understand what?" Po looks at Leo with a confused look as he stands up.
"You have the Hero's Chi, Po." Leo answered.
"I..." Po's eyes widen in shock.
"Of course." Ke-Pa smiles evilly, looking at them as he sent the warriors in different directions. "The panda has the Hero's Chi."
Leo acted quickly by grabbing Shifu and tossing him into Tigress's arms. He quickly turns around and tries to grab Po but missed as the Dragon Warrior was thrown inside the funnel. "No!" Leo yelled. He lunges at Ke-Pa, but Ke-Pa threw him to side of the funnel. The human slid and landed on all fours before quickly getting up and try to attack Ke-Pa. The demon threw him towards the edge of the crater.
Ke-Pa wraps himself around the funnel, entering in a trance. He begins to squeeze the poor panda and blue lights were shot out from the funnel. It explodes, causing everyone to shield eyes. The smoke cleared up, revealing the funnel destroyed.
Leo shook his head. He got on all fours and sees Po laying underneath the rubble, not moving. "Tch!" Leo growls angrily. "Damn you!" He catapults himself to the demon, ready to strike him down.
The demon lifted several rocks with his power and throws them at him. He barely blocks them in time and got caught in Ke-Pa's grasp.
"Now then." Ke-Pa snarled, bring the human to his eye level. "Since that obstacle is out of the way, I still need the Red Gem to undo the final protection to remove the seal. Where is the Red Gem?!"
Leo responded by stabbing the demon's claw and slicing the claw on his way down.
"Gah!" the demon yelled, slicing the human's chest and stomach.
"Argh!" Leo shouted in pain.
Several drops of his blood landed on the seal. The seal began to glow in a red aura for only a second and disappeared.
"Everyone saw that, right?" Mantis asked.
"Yeah." Panther slowly nodded her head.
"If Leo's blood did that, that means-" Monkey was saying.
"Leo is the Red Gem." Panther finished Monkey's sentence.
"So, it seems that in order to remove the seal, your blood is what I need." Ke-Pa smiles wickedly, catching the human with his mind and suspending Leo high above the seal.
Leo's arms and legs were spread apart. He tried struggling to break free, but Ke-Pa's hold over him was strong.
"NOW DIE!" Ke-Pa screamed. He thrust his claw into the human's chest. Everyone watches in shock.
Leo felt the demon's power letting him go. He tried to stop his blood running down his body with his arms. Leo let's out a painful yell as he was vomiting blood. His blood landed on the top of the seal, causing it to glow red for a second time. It glowed much brightly for several seconds, and the red glow disappeared. Ke-Pa smirked and threw Leo in the air.
Shifu and the Five gasps in horror. Tigress was about to rush to catch him, but Panther felt her body moved and ran on instinct. She launches herself in the air and caught Leo in the air. Her body hit the ground as she had Leo wrapped around her arms. She let outs grunt of pain and sits up. Panther looks at her wounded friend with worry. There was a good-sized hole in the middle of his chest. The diamond sword landed in front of them. She has to stop the bleeding, so she grabs the sword and cuts his shirt before wrapping around it and putting pressure on the wound.
Panther lets out a little whimper as she felt the cap of the seal shaking the ground a little.
"Now, my demon brethren!" Ke-Pa yells in the deep hole. "All of you are free!"
Everyone except Shifu, watched in terror as they saw a black claw slowly sticking out. A demon came out in full view, letting out a loud shrieking. Then the demons shot of the seal as Ke-Pa laughs. All of the demons began circling the sky above the Jade Mountain.
Ke-Pa looks down at the terrified onlookers. "Destroy them all!"
"Shit!" Bu cursed.
"Clear out, everyone!" Nala shouted to everyone.
Qiao and Zhi rushes over to Panther.
"Gah!" Leo lets out a loud painful grunt as he coughs out blood.
"Leo!" Panther gasps. Leo was trying to get up as he tried to move Panther's arms.
"Hey hey!" Zhi exclaims as she knelt down and grabs his arm. "Easy Leo!"
"P... Po..." Leo muttered weakly.
"Don't worry about Po, Leo." Zhi assured him. "Shifu and Tigress is taking him to the Peach Tree."
"How is he?" Nala runs up them.
"Leo's losing too much blood." Panther replies, looking up at her.
"Shit." Nala cursed.
"Gi... gir... irls..." Leo mumbled in a raspy voice to get their attention. "Hel... help them... what... ever it... takes..."
"I'm not leaving you, Leo." Panther said. She sets him down on the ground and kept her pressure to stop the bleeding.
"Neither am I." Zhi nodded.
"Stay safe." the feline said before running off to the village below.
"Damnit!" Bu shouted, dodging a demon. He quickly grabs a bunny and a goose before diving inside the building. Several demons flew inside the house to continue attacking.
"Ha ha ha!" Ke-Pa laughs as the demons kept destroying the village. "We won't let the mortals live! The demons will control the world!"
Back on the Jade Mountain, Zhi was watching the village being destroyed. She looks back at the injured human. There was blood on Panther's arms. Zhi runs over to Panther and looks down at Leo. "Shit." she cursed. There was a big blood stain on the shirt.
"Leo." Panther said in a low voice, moving his shirt around for a clean spot to stop the bleeding.
"Things are not looking good down there, Panther." Zhi informs her. "Ke-Pa is destroying the village with his demons. The demons are grabbing the villagers while the rest of the Five and the others are doing everything they can."
"What about Shifu, Po and... Tigress?"
"They're bringing him to the Peach Tree. I don't know why, but Shifu might have an idea that could help Po." Zhi folds her arms.
"Even if that idea works, there's still the problem of a second protection to put on the seal and not to mention Ke-Pa has to be destroyed."
"But how, Panther? Ke-Pa has won and..."
The human looks down at her fallen friend. As she looks at Leo, a burst of light was coming from the Peach Tree Hill. Zhi runs over to the edge and sees a gold light bursting from Po. The gold light took the shape of a tree and enters the panda's body as the Dragon Warrior floats to the ground and scratches his belly. "Po is alive." Zhi called over her shoulder to Panther.
The human didn't bother to look up as her attention was focused on Leo. It was good to hear Po is alive, but Leo was still seriously injured. She knew that she and Leo has been in worse situations than this. Panther hopes there's a way. While she was thinking, Leo's body was beginning to glow in a white light that caught her and Zhi's attention.
"What the hell?!" Zhi shouted in surprised.
The two girls watch Leo's body lift up in the air. The light was so bright that they have to shield their eyes.
Leo opens his eyes and sat up. He looks up to see Kaira looking down at him. Leo stands up.
"Damn." Kaira cursed. "You didn't die from that attack."
"I've been through a lot worse." Leo replied.
"Not surprised." Kaira said.
"That power of Ke-Pa is strong." Leo folded his arms. "If I only knew how to undo the seal in here so we could fight back." He closes his eyes and begins to think of a plan.
"I have an idea." Kaira smirked, causing the human to look at her. She raises a paw, closes her eyes and took a deep breath. Her paw touches his forehead and was beginning to get covered in an aura of a white light.
Leo felt his body covered in the same red light as her paw. "Whoa!" Leo gasps, feeling the warms light surrounding him. His body stops glowing and so did her paw.
"Now you're ready." Kaira said to him.
Leo nodded his head.
The white light disappeared and Leo lands on the ground gently. He opens his eyes. Leo looks down at his chest and notices there was no hole and blood. It was like it was never there. He looks up to see Panther smiling and Zhi's expression was shocked.
"Leo..." Panther muttered happily.
"Son of a bitch." Zhi said, walking up to him. "How the hell are you healed?"
"Crow must've put a protective spell on him." Panther answered with a smile.
"Heh." Zhi chuckled.
Panther picks up the sword and hands it to Leo. The three of them rushes over to the top of the staircase.
"Hmph." Leo sneered as he notices several demons flying towards them. He sheathes his sword and flings himself towards the flying demons. His fists were covered in fire and threw in quick punches to the demons. The demons screech out in pain before they were destroyed.
The two girls caught up to him.
"Time to slay these demons!" Leo lets out a fierce growl. He sheathes his sword and does one mighty jump to the valley below. The human saw the demons going after Po as Ke-Pa watched.
"Destroy that panda!" he shouted angrily at them.
"HHAAA!" Leo bellowed, slamming both his fist hard on the demon's head. He rolls on the ground and quickly got up to turn around and glares at Ke-Pa groaning on the gound.
"What the hell hit me?" Ke-Pa groans as he stood up and shook his head.
"Down here, you oversized dragon!" Leo shouted. While he got into his fighting stance, his fists and feet were covered in a red blazing aura.
"The human!" Ke-Pa exclaims in shocked. "Kill him!"
"Hpmh!" Leo jumps to avoid a tackle from a demon before he delivered a kick, giving him an extra boost in the air. He quickly delivered powerful hard kicks and punches to the demons. With each attack from the human, the demons were getting destroyed. Leo slashes five demons and lands several feet away from where the statue once stood. He looks up and notice half of the demons were circling above them.
"Hm?" Leo looks at the Jade Mountain and got an idea. "Heh!" He gave Ke-Pa and the demons the middle finger before he disappeared quickly.
Po jumps on the rim of the seal and charges a ball of light in his paws. The demon horde approaches him from the air as everyone gathered at the top of mountain. Leo quickly appeared high above them.
"You hungry?!" Po called them. "Come and get it!" He puts the ball of light inside of him and jumps inside the hole and all the demons went after him.
Leo took the opportunity and landed on the rim of the seal. He opens his mouth to form a ball of yellow energy. Leo stood his ground as the ground begins to shake. The panda flies and was screaming on the way out.
"HHHAA!" Leo yelled, firing the ball of energy into the hole. He disappeared and reappeared in the air as he drew his sword while Po slam the cap back on the seal. A green shockwave bursts out of the seal that resembles the Yin and Yang symbol. Then Leo cuts his palm with the sword and landed to deliver a bloody palm strike to the cap. The whole seal began to glow red faintly and disappeared.
"Heh." Po panted as he laid down on his back while Shifu and the others looks up to Leo and Po. "Defeating a demon horde really takes it out of you."
Everyone smiles at each other.
"NO!" Ke-Pa roared, hitting Leo and Po with his tail.
The Dragon Warrior was thrown to the side of the crater and got crushed by a boulder and a column. Leo was caught in Ke-Pa's telekinesis and was thrown into a nearby boulder, knocking him out. Po pushes the columns panting as he stood up.
"I swear by all that's dark and vile, you will die on this day!" Ke-Pa bellowed, standing tall over Po. "And after I kill you, that human will die by my claws! I swear it!"
Po tries to charge a ball of light, but it fails as he collapses on one knee.
"He drained his Hero's Chi." Panther said.
Ke-Pa fires blue lightning from his eyes toward the Dragon Warrior. He grabs the poor panda and slams him in the remains of the funnel. He flies over and grabs him to crush, making Po scream in pain. Everyone watches in terror as Ke-Pa flies to the sky with Po in his grasp. The demon disappeared in the clouds.
"Gah...!" Leo moaned, shaking his head and stood up. He looks up to see lightning strikes and the screams of his friend. He jumps back on the cap and drew his sword. Leo looks at the others. "Panther!" he shouted.
Panther looks at her friend and watches him raise the weapon to point to the sky. She understood and nodded. "Crane!" The avian turns his attention to her. "Give us an extra boost to get up there!"
"Right!" Crane started flapping his wings and flew above their heads.
Panther wasted no time by jumping over Leo. Leo launches her with a palm strike uppercut for an extra boost. Tigress got the idea and did the same thing. Leo nods his head once to Zhi, Monkey and Shifu. Monkey threw Shifu in the air as he got thrown in the air by Zhi. Leo jumps to Zhi and she delivered a strong kick to send Leo flying high in the air with his kick.
He caught up to Monkey, stretching out his hand. Monkey grabs his wrist and tosses him high above him. The small red panda cups his hands together to allow Leo to jump even more farther above. Leo caught up to Tigress. They at each other for a moment before Tigress did her double palm strike to his feet, sending him even higher above the clouds. Leo caught up to Panther.
"Go!" Panther exclaims as she grabs his shoulders and tosses him above her.
Leo grasps his sword tightly as he flew high. The diamond sword began to shine off a silver aura.
"This can't happen!" Ke-Pa growled in anger as he chased the panda down in the air. "You're an insect! A mortal!"
"That's right!" Po exclaims. "So I say to you on behalf of all mortals, skadoosh!" His belly begins to shine gold and as the demon flew closer to him, Leo flew past the Dragon Warrior and lands on Ke-Pa's head. He quickly ran along Ke-Pa's body as he slices the dragon. As Leo jumps off at the last second, a mixture of gold and silver light engulfs the valley and Ke-Pa.
Leo fell through the air. He kept on falling and saw that Po landed safely with the others. The avian caught Leo and brought Leo down to the mountain safely. He releases Leo and Leo lands on his feet on top of the seal's cap. Leo smiles at them. He hops off the ground and was approached by his master.
"You and everyone else did excellent, Leo." Shifu smiles at him.
"At least that's the last of Ke-Pa and his kin." Leo sheathes his sword.
"I'm glad this battle is over." Nala smiled.
Po looks up to see the dark grey clouds moving for the sun to come out. "Looks like it's going to be a beautiful day." Po smiled.
"Hopefully it'll be like that because we have to fix the damage and rebuild the Jade Palace." Leo walks by him to the top of the stairs. He gazes down at the village below. Houses were knocked over or destroyed. Leo shifted his gaze to the crater they were all standing in.
"Well then, let's get work." Shifu said to everyone.
Before they can begin, everyone heard someone yawning. Tigress looks at Leo and sees him yawning and rubbing his eye. He stops yawning and notices everyone looking at him.
"I, uh..." Leo tried to say something, but no words came out of his mouth.
"You're not tired now, are you, Leo?" Monkey teases him.
"Maybe I am." Leo said, letting out another yawn. "I didn't get any sleep last night on the way here."
"Before you get some rest, Leo." Shifu approaches his student. "What happened to your bloody hole that Ke-Pa left?"
"I'm not sure to be honest." Leo replied.
"We'll discuss that after you get some rest, Leo." Shifu said.
"Yes, Master Shifu." Leo bows his head to his master before leaving to the student barracks. The student barracks remained undamaged including the Training Hall. He was glad that the battle is over. Leo entered his room which is two rooms down from Tigress's room. The young man laid his weapon down and picks up a fresh new set of clothes and heads over to take a bath in the bathhouse. After taking his bath, Leo went back to his room and fell asleep without anyone disturbing him.
Leo was in darkness again. He was standing in the ring of fire. There were two shadowy figures in the ring of fire with him. One of them was laying on the ground bleeding while the other one was glaring down and was on fire. Leo's breathing became short.
His attention was focus on the second figure. The figure turned its head towards Leo. Leo notices it was covered in blood. He got into a fighting stance in case the fiery figure attacks him. It shifted its attention on the first shadowy figure. Baring its bloody with its teeth, Leo watched in horror as the second figure lunges its teeth to the first shadowy figure. The young man can do nothing but look away from that sickening bloody sight.
He can hear the sound of the flesh being ripped apart and the screaming sound of a person dying. Leo felt the taste of the person's blood in his mouth. He opens his eyes in time to see the fiery figure rushing quickly and tackling him to the ground. Leo could see its white teeth. It let out a blood curdling roar.
Leo snaps his eyes open and jolted forward. He panted a little bit, but his breath was shaking. A gentle breeze entered his room from the window. Leo got up and stretches his arms and legs. He walks over to his shelf and pulls out several scrolls. After writing down in the scroll, he puts them back on the shelf.
"Damn nightmares." Leo thought as he lowered his head. "The nightmares just keep changing every time. It's better to keep it this way that I don't tell them about my nightmares. I just have to be careful that they don't notice. These nightmares will never go away." Leo turns around and was about to leave his room until he met Viper and Mantis outside of the door.
"Hi, Leo." Viper greets him with a smile. "How did you sleep?"
"It was good." the young man replied.
"Everyone is waiting for us at Mr. Ping's restaurant." Viper informs him.
It was the late afternoon as Leo heads down to the village with Viper and Mantis to join the others. The staircase wasn't heavily damage. They arrived at the village. Some of the homes weren't bad. The fire was out to all the homes.
Leo can see that the villagers began to cheer and thanked him when the three of them entered the village. He gave them all a small nod as they head to the restaurant. The others smiled when they saw Leo coming inside with Viper and Mantis. There was a empty spot between Tigress and Panther while Shifu was sitting at the head of the table.
Leo sits down in between them as Mr. Ping brought him a bowl of noodle soup. He ate in silence, listening to the conversations. After they finished eating, they kept talking about their conversation and laughing.
"How are things going in Gongmen City, Panther?" Viper asks her.
"Things are doing well right now. Master Ox and Croc is already rebuilding the tower and the construction began several months ago." Panther replied. "So the tower should be done in four to eight months."
"And what about the destroyed helicopters?" Leo asks her.
"After you left Gongmen City, we have to melt them all in the Fireworks Factory. I had to explain everything to the Ox, Croc and the others that we shouldn't have these helicopters here."
"Good." Leo nodded his head.
"So Leo, now that we're all here, you did promise to explain when this was over." Shifu said.
"I haven't forgotten, Master." Leo replied. "After you "sent" me away, Panther and I traveled many miles to find the mountain where the black panther is. I wondered if she knew something about the Red Gem along with its location and how to create the second seal on top of the first seal. Then we met up with Nala and the others. I told them what was happening at the Valley Of Peace. But then I remembered that I don't know where that mountain is because I doze off on the way back to Gongmen City. So, I had to come up with some plans that could help us."
"While he was doing that, Bu and I went back to my village and asked the elder about the Red Gem." Qiao said. "The elder didn't know anything about the Red or its location."
"After the others went to sleep, I went on ahead to travel back to the Valley Of Peace." Leo replied.
"I see." Monkey said. "So you left to search for help."
"Yes, Monkey. And you all know what happened after that."
"We saw the whole thing." Viper said. "Po getting killed, you received a hole in your chest and somehow you survived as if you never got that attack from that demon."
"Can you explain that, Leo?" Shifu asks him.
"I believe Crow must've put a protection spell on me when we saw the giant crow that night." Leo continued. "I have to thank her whenever she shows up. And if it's not her, then it must be something else."
"But not only you were healed, your skills and abilities became enhance and powerful." Panther said. "Your hands were on fire and they were covered in a red aura."
"Then you quickly appeared above me and fire some kind pulse of energy blast inside that hole after I got out." Po said.
"After the cap was back on, I used my blood to create a second seal." Leo replied. "Ke-Pa knocked me out and began torturing you. I woke up and heard your screams, so Panther and a few others sent me up straight towards you and Ke-Pa and slice him from the head to the tail before he was vanquished by our two attacks. So now you know."
"But those two attacks were awesome!" Po smiled.
"I agree." Tigress nodded her head.
"There's one thing I don't understand." Viper said, looking at Shifu. "The two hooded figures appeared out of nowhere to assist Oogway. Who were they?"
"They were humans." Shifu said.
Leo looks at his master in shock. "What?"
"It's true. The two of them never took off their cloaks and told Oogway that they're humans. They told him that they will leaving something behind to act as a second seal in case the cap was removed. After the second seal was created, they left without a trace." Shifu said. "I came across the Red Gem and the two humans in the scroll five years later after I became a Kung Fu Master. But when you said you're a human, I was interested to see that is what a human looks like that."
"I see." Leo slowly nodded his head. "I can't believe Oogway met two humans and then me. They didn't give their names?"
"No." Shifu shook his head.
"Why didn't Oogway mention he met two humans before?" Mantis wondered.
"I'm sure he had his reasons." Shifu said.
"Hm." Leo lowered his head. "But Master Shifu, how did Ke-Pa knew about the Hero's Blood?"
"I'm not sure, Leo." Shifu answered.
"Oh, Leo, that reminds me." Po said.
"What is it, Po?" Leo shifts his gaze to the panda.
Po rushes in the kitchen and came out with a green chest and sets it on the table. Leo stands up and looks at the box curiously. He opens the chest and takes out a action figure of himself.
"No way." Leo gasps. His action figure was wearing the same clothes he arrived with the diamond sword. He turns his head toward the panda. "When did this happen?"
"Several months ago." Po answered.
"After you saved the Vally Of Peace and China, people have been looking up at you as a hero." Shifu explains.
"I have to say, not bad." Leo smiled.
Evening came as everyone came back at the Student Barracks. Shifu made the sleeping arrangements for everyone. Nala will be in Viper's Room, Shifu and Bu shall be in Crane's Room, Qiao will have the first spare room next to Tigress's room, Zhi will sleep in the second spare room between Qiao and Leo's rooms while Panther will be sleeping with Tigress in the feline's room. Leo wanted to spend some time alone at the Dragon Grotto. He was glad that the battle was over.
But he did wonder who those two people were. Perhaps they were the ones who sent him here. Or maybe it was...? Leo shook his head to get that thought out of his mind. He didn't want to get his hopes up. There was something else that came to his mind. His own blood. It was used to summon Draco with Crow's magic and was used to remove the second seal, not to mention creating L.
Was his blood not normal as any living being? Is his blood really that special or him? Maybe there's more to him than meets the eye. Master Lee and the others have been wondering about that for several years now. But for now, Leo will have to wait and see what will happen in the future. Seems like wherever he goes, fate and destiny always follows him no matter what.
Leo turns his head to the left to see Tigress coming to the Dragon Grotto and stops when she saw him. The two of them hadn't say anything since Leo and Panther left the village. There was only silence between the two of them. He knew there were things to discuss.
"Tigress, I-" Tigress cuts him off by flinging her arms around him and kisses him on the lips. He became shocked and gave into the sensation of her kiss, kissing her back. Tigress broke the kiss for the two of them to have some air. She rests her chin on his shoulder as she didn't want to let go.
"I thought I'd lost you, Leo." Tigress spoke, lifting her head to gaze into his eyes.
"You haven't, Tigress." Leo said. "I'm not easy to kill. Tigress, I tried to save Po, but Ke-Pa got to him first then me."
"If only I gotten to you before he did, Leo." she said as they let go.
"I know." Leo said.
"When we saw you fall, my entire body acted up on its own and I caught you before anything else can damage your body." Panther said, walking up to them. "I was wondering where you two were."
"I wanted to come up here to clear my mind." Leo said.
"And I wanted to get some air until I found Leo here." Tigress said to her. "I want to thank you for helping us in our fight against Ke-Pa and the demons."
"You're welcome." Panther smiled. "I'm just glad that the others and I helped you, Leo, Shifu, the Dragon Warrior and the rest of the Five."
"Ke-Pa was a tough opponent, but he's nowhere close to Crow's father." Leo said. "That summoning nearly killed me."
"You almost died before?" Tigress looks at with wide eyes.
"Yeah." Leo nodded his head a bit. "Crow was going to heal me but I told her to heal me after we deal with Draco. She shook head and healed me."
"When I saw him lying on the ground, I was terrified." Panther explains. "But I was glad Crow healed him."
"And I'm glad that he didn't die today." Tigress replied. "Because I don't what'd I do without you, Leo."
Leo gives out a small chuckle, walking towards the wall and lean on it. "I won't die easily. You all saw I put my life on the line to protect those who are close and dear to me no matter what. I don't want to lose anyone and especially you, Tigress."
"Leo..." She smiled a bit, but she became stern. "Why didn't you said anything to me or Panther about your plan seeking for help Or why didn't you help us distract Ke-Pa?"
"Because I thought the panther and those two tigers could help us about our situation." Leo replied. "Those three helped me before. I didn't want to lose Shifu when I saw Ke-Pa getting ready to kill him. I know much he means to you, Tigress, because he's your adoptive father. No child should ever lose a parent, even if it's an adoptive parent. That's why I didn't say anything or help you. I'm sorry, you two."
Tigress's stern expression soften. "I see." she said. "Thank you, Leo."
"You're not mad?"
"No."
"So Leo, how did the hell did Crow contacted you and the others?"
"I'm not sure, Panther. We all saw that big crow the other night. Then it disappeared."
"Hm." Panther folded her arms.
"You think Crow grew strong to control her father's powers?"
"Hopefully. She's been training to control Draco's powers for five years now after his defeat. Judging of what you told me, I believe she gotten strong."
"Hang on, Panther." Tigress spoke to her. "If Crow can summon a portal and got Leo to that ancient temple in China, do you think she can make a portal to come here?"
"I'm not sure, Tigress. I ended up unconscious back in our world and ended up here." Leo said. "And I don't think that was Crow's magic, now that I think about it. I'm thinking something else may be behind this. But why did we end up here in the first place?"
"I'm... not sure." Tigress said, unsurely.
"Maybe there's a reason." Panther suggested.
"But I am glad that we're here." Leo said.
"Same here." Panther smiled.
"Since everyone is here, maybe we could get some pictures of everyone." Tigress suggested.
"That's not a bad idea, Tigress." Leo grins. "Before we do that, I have to explain to Nala, Zhi, Qiao and Bu about the iPhone and its features."
"Don't worry about it, Leo." Panther told him. "I already explained how the iPhone works."
"That's good." Leo said.
"So Panther, you have a iPhone as well?" Tigress asks her.
"Yes I do." Panther takes her iPhone out.
"Interesting." Tigress stares at it. "Hm. Leo."
"Yes?"
"Do you think your friend has one too? The one who you thought was dead?"
Panther tilts her head a little confused.
"James? I'm not sure. I'll have to ask him when our paths crossed." Leo replied.
But Panther understood what Leo was talking about. "Leo... James is dead."
"He's not dead, Panther." Leo walks up to her. "James is alive. He's the Dragon Soldier we've been fighting."
"What?" Panther gasps in shock.
"It's true, Panther." Tigress replied. "Leo and James fought last month. He saw James and Po went after Leo and James, but he lost them. When Po caught up to them, Leo and James were seriously hurt and injured during their triple death fight with Saber. Leo gotten through James before the Dragon Soldier can protect him from Saber. He let James go to find the ones who saved him that day and make them pay."
Panther's jaw dropped. She looks at them with a shock expression on her face. "So... James is alive."
"After these past nine years. No one would've guessed that he survived and became the Dragon Soldier."
"I'm sure that his parents will be shocked if they find he's alive." Panther said. "Even Master Lee and the others."
"But what do you think is going to happen when he completes his mission and return to his family?" Tigress asked.
"I'm not sure." Leo shrugs his shoulders. "But I'm happy to know that he's alive and well."
"So did this fight happened after Crow appeared?"
"No." Leo shook his head. "It happened a week later before she appeared."
"So what'd you do for that one week, Leo?"
"I just rested in bed that week, Panther."
"Damn. I have to say that all of you were busy the last time I saw you."
"And we're going to be busy for the next four to six months to get the Jade Palace to be rebuilt." Leo said.
"The others and I decided to stay with you until the Jade Palace is rebuilt." Panther.
"But wait, what about Gongmen City, Panther?"
"I'll send a message to Master Ox to let him know in the morning. Qiao is leaving tomorrow to let the village elder know. Besides, you'll need extra hands and paws to rebuild the Jade Palace." Panther said.
"Looks like these next few months are going to be interesting." Leo smiled.
"I agree." Tigress agreed.
"What do you two girls think the future will bring?" Leo asked.
"No one knows what the future will bring, Leo." Tigress looks at him. "Like you said before; "Whatever the future brings, we'll be ready"." She recited the words Leo told her when they came back from Gongmen City.
Leo lets out a chuckle. "Together."
"Together." Tigress smiled.
"Come on, two. We got to get some sleep for tomorrow." Panther said.
"Sure thing." Leo said as they follow Panther.
"That reminds me." Panther stops and turns around to face them. "Tigress, is it alright if I have moment with Leo?"
"Sure." Tigress nodded and left for the barracks.
It was just Leo and Panther now.
"What is it, Panther?" Leo asks her.
"I saw you did that technique, Leo." Panther folded her arms. "When Ke-Pa attacked with his fire breath to destroy the Jade Palace."
"I wanted to make sure all of you got out of there before the Jade Palace got destroyed." Leo said. "There wasn't time for me to get out of there after I threw Tigress. So I didn't have a choice but to use that."
"Leo, you know you can't use that technique yet!" Panther shouted angrily before she calms down. "Do you remember what Mistress Aashni said? "You will not be to master this technique unless you deal the conflict and turmoil inside yourself". Without proper training, you'll get killed."
"I know." Leo said. "And I'm still trying after seven years, Panther. After I defeated Sying at Gongmen City, I thought my turmoil and conflict was dealt with."
"That's what I thought too." Panther nodded. "But apparently you haven't. I know you'll master it someday."
"I hope so." Leo said.
"Come on." Panther unfoled her arms. "We should head to the barracks."
"Sure."
"And Leo? I'm sorry I shouted at you." Panther apologized.
"Don't be. I deserve it after doing that."
"Just promise me you'll won't use it yet."
"Panther, I-"
"No, Leo." Panther cuts him off. She walks over to him and places her hand on his shoulders as she looks at him wth a serious look. "Promise me."
"Alright." Leo sighs. "I promise."
"Good."
They headed back to the Student Barracks. Leo entered the bathhouse where he saw Po taking a bath in the pool. "Hey, Po."
Po turns around and notices Leo. The human was wearing a towel around his waist. "Hi, Leo." the panda greeted him. "Going to take your bath?"
"Yes." Leo answered, placing his clothes on the stool.
The panda turns around as Leo removes his towel and enter the pool. He sits down and closes his eyes.
"I have to say, these last two days were crazy and awesome." Po said.
"You mean where you were worried about your reputation as the Dragon Warrior or the two of us defeating Ke-Pa together?"
"I was worried about my reputation, but after defeating Ke-Pa, not anymore."
"That's good to hear. Next time something like this happens again, do what Master Shifu said, Po."
"Sure thing, Leo. Hey, maybe you can give a name to your two attacks."
Leo opens his eyes and stares at him with a perplex look. "A name?"
"Well, yeah." Po smiled, turning around to look at him. "A lot of kung fu masters give their attacks names that helps them out. Like the Golden Lotus Clap, The Tahlia Leap, the Wuxi Finger Hold or those awesome moves you did on Temutai and Fenghugan back then for example. Even that one attack when you were deflecting those cannon balls with your arms on fire."
"I... I don't know about that last one, Po." Leo folds his arms as he turns his head away. "I'd rather leave that last one out, but the other ones will do. Maybe we can discuss that with Shifu tomorrow morning."
"Sure." Po agreed.
After taking a bath, Leo enters his room and walks up to his shelf. He gets into a lotus position on his bed and begins to meditate.
"I have to say, you were good out there." Kaira said.
Leo opens his eyes to look at the White-Tailed Beast. "Only because you gave me some of your power." He replied as he stands up.
"To fight against that Ke-Pa demon." Kaira said.
"So what was that you used on me?"
"What I gave you is Ki." she explains.
"But how?"
"By having a strong will and a strong determination, I was able to give you some of my power. I couldn't give you my full access to my power because of the seal."
"Hm. There's something I've been wondering about."
Kaira simply nodded her head.
"You gave me a tiny bit of your power and I felt fine after that. Why did it felt different than before last time?"
"Because you entered your subconscious when Temutai attacked the Jade Palace. You were able to act quickly to perform those moves. But when you saw the Dragon Warrior was going to "kill" Shifu, your killer instincts kicked in. I didn't give you my tiny piece of power. You did that one on your own.
"And what about when I was fighting Sying?"
"You allowed your anger and vengeance to help you to control your killer instincts. When you did that, it awoke me again from my slumber. And it happened again when you killed that assassin."
"If I did that, then wouldn't the seal begin to grow weak?"
"I'm not sure and no. I would've been broken free by then. This seal prevents me from escaping."
"Well, I guess I should thank you for healing me and giving some of you power to help defeat Ke-Pa."
"You're welcome and no. I didn't healed you."
"You didn't?" Leo folded his arms.
"No. Because I don't know how you were healed."
"Great." Leo lets out a exaggerated sigh. "But I'm not surprised you would have the answer to that one."
"Who knows what would happen in the future, human."
"I have one more question. Are you concerned that I was going to die before leaving for the Valley Of Peace, Kaira?"
Kaira didn't say a word as she stares at him. "It's nothing of your concern." she replied.
Leo lets out a sigh and opens his eyes. He took his shirt off and puts it down next to the diamond sword. Hearing Kaira telling Leo to be safe was odd. First, she wanted to kill him and then she's telling him to don't die out there. Was she concerned about him? If so, why and if she didn't heal him, then what was it that healed him?
There were so many questions Leo wanted to ask. Some answers he wants and some answers he'll never accept. Leo knew he'll deal with those answers in the future and will learn what happened to his parents. Leo didn't want his hopes up if his parents is alive and were the two people who helped Oogway. He didn't want to think if his parents is dead. Leo growls softly and laid down in his bed. He knew this will take time to figure this out. Leo closes his eyes, ready to have the same nightmares as usual.
As Leo was sleeping, Panther was watching him from outside the hall through the door. She was hoping that Leo wouldn't have nightmares from the past. And she wasn't surprised if it was a bad dream or a nightmare. She would be happy if Leo could just talk to them about his nightmares. It'll be easier on him than not talking about it.
"Panther?"
Panther turns head to the right to see Tigress standing outside of her room with Viper.
"Why are you standing outside of Leo's room?" Viper asks her.
"I was going to say goodnight to Leo, but it looks like he's already asleep." Panther walks up to the two masters.
"Well, you have plenty of opportunities to say goodnight to him, Panther." Tigress said to her.
"And time to hang out with him when we get a break." Viper replied.
"It'll be nice to do that." Panther smiled. "We should get some rest because we'll have a long day tomorrow."
Tigress and Viper agreed. The green snake slithers back to her room as Panther enters the feline's room with Tigress. Panther has her bed close to Tigress's bed. The two girls laid down in their bed and closed their eyes. Panther had a feeling that these next few months is going to be really interesting.
But she knew Leo won't sleep well as always. Panther hopes that Leo will talk to them about his nightmares. She was surprised to hear from Tigress that Leo shared his vision and nightmare when they were on their way to Gongmen City to stop Shen and Sying. It was good to hear that. Panther would've felt even more better if Leo would just tell them all about the incident.
No human in existence can ignore the heat of the flames. Any person would've been burned when they're on fire. But Leo became the first person to ignore the fire on his body several years ago. There were some burn marks before, but Leo made a good recovery. It wasn't the first time when Panther saw Leo on fire. She saw the fierce anger of hate and vengeance in his eyes that day after he killed Sying. Panther was reminded of what she saw that night.
But when Leo turned around to Panther, he managed to calm down and come back to his senses, unlike what happened on that night of the incident. Panther knew Leo was beginning to get worried if the masters saw he did in that ring of fire before the two roars put the flames out. She assured him no one saw it because the fire was big. Leo felt better when Panther told him that.
There was one thing Panther agrees on with Tigress when Leo took his bath; giving names to his attacks and giving Leo to become a Kung Master. Tigress and Panther will be happy with the others when that time comes.
Author's Note: Well, that was a long chapter for me to work on. My original plan was to have Zeus appear in this chapter to help out, but I scrap that idea because it wouldn't work out for this chapter. I wanted to take some of my focus on Leo and the other OCs when I did that at the beginning of this chapter. There were parts in this chapter I had to work heavily on. And I'm glad it worked out.
Now, I did hear that Dreamworks is working on Kung Fu Panda 4 and it will be released in 2024. I'm looking forward to seeing what they have planned for the plot and the characters. I still plan to finish this story all the way through. So I hope this chapter was enjoyable to all of you.
