Author's Note: After watching where Po gave his present to Mr. Ping, I decided to add some more information of what Leo does during the holidays. Also, I threw in some new OCs for this chapter along with a couple you may know. Now, let's get on with the story!

A Christmas Miracle

Six Years Ago...

The sun's rays were shining through the window. Panther walking in the halls of the Tao Palace. She was excited since Christmas is coming in less than two days. The other masters were on their way to the Tao Palace. Tao Palace was located on a island in the middle of the lake. It is a very large white stone structure with black roofing with a high-point tower.

Panther made her way down to the bridge that led from the palace to the city. The bridge was clear of snow and ice as several snowflakes were landing on her long indigo hair. She could see two people walking towards the palace on the bridge. The two people walks up to Panther. One of them was carrying a grocery bag.

"Hi, Ava. Hi, Xiu." Panther greeted her two friends.

Ava was wearing a gray jacket, blue jeans while wearing black boots and a dark green scarf around her neck. There was little bit of snow on the back of her long black hair. Her eyes are blue.

Xiu was wearing a white jacket, gray jeans and black snow boots while her hands were covered in green gloves. Her violet light hair was tied in a ponytail and her black eyes are her color.

"Hello, Panther." Xiu said to her. "Where is Leo?"

"He's at the battle stadium doing some training with Ju Fen and Serena right now." Panther answered.

"Then let's go to the battle stadium, then." Ava said.

The three of them heads back inside the palace to go the battle stadium that's located on the left side of the palace. They walk down the halls and enters the large adjoining battle stadium. There were ten silver banners with the symbol of the Yin Yang at the center. A small balcony can be seen by the middle banner located on the right.

In the stadium is a large battlefield with the Yin Yang symbol at its center. Panther, Ava and Xiu arrived at the stadium. The lights were on as they arrived. Sparring on the battlefield was Leo and two other girls.

"Hmph!" Leo grunts as he jumps into a backward roll from the first girl's punch.

The first girl was wearing a light and dark blue Shaolin Uniform. Her brown hair was a little dirty as her brown eyes were looking at the raven-haired teen. She was about to attack, but the second girl appeared right in front of her and did a powerful palm strike that sent the first girl flying a couple feet across. The second girl was wearing a black hanfu with the moon in the center and purple pants. She has long blue hair and turns her purple eyes on Leo.

"Damn!" Leo thought. "Ju Fen is good! Let's see if she can deal with this!" He quickly charges at her with a multi-hit kick combo.

Ju Fen blocks his kick with her own kicks. She readied her fist and threw it to his face, causing him to raise his arms. The young woman smirks as she uses her other fist to punch him twice in the solar complex and when his arms were lowered a bit, she grabs him by the neck into a chokehold and lifts him up before slamming him into the ground. Once his body bounced up from the ground, Ju Fen was going to attack again, but she quickly raises her hand to catch Serena's dive punch and slams her into Leo before doing a hard axe kick to the back.

"F-fuck..." Leo groans in pain.

Serena rolls of him and rubs the spot where she received the axe kick.

"Hmph." Ju Fen folds her arms. "Today's sparring is over. Leo, come by later tonight."

"Yes... Ma-Master Ju Fen..." Leo said in between breaths.

"Oh? It appears we have company." Ju Fen notice Panther, Ava and Xiu walking towards them. "Now how long were you three standing over there?"

"We only just arrived recently, Mistress." Xiu answered.

"Is that the whip cream that Brock wanted?" Ju Fen notices the white plastic bag.

"Yes."

"Good."

Leo got up from the ground and shakes the dirt from his hair. He grabs Serena's hand and pulled her up to stand.

"Damn, I thought I had you this time." Serena said to Ju Fen.

"No, you didn't. You have to assume that an opponent wouldn't let their guard down that easily and they always have a backup plan." Ju Fen replied.

"We'll see you later, Leo." Xiu bows her head as she and Ju Fen walks away and exits the stadium.

"So training was good today?" Panther asks them.

"Yes it was." Leo answered.

"That's good to hear because Xiu and I had a good time at the store to get the whip cream." Ava said.

"So what are you three going to do today?" Leo asks them.

"The three of us are going to finish delivering a few more presents under the Christmas Tree." Serena answered. "What about you, Leo?"

"I'm going to do some meditation in my room." Leo replied. "I'll see you girls later."

The three girls watch him leave the stadium.

"Do you think Leo will be okay being alone on Christmas?" Ava asks Panther and Serena.

"I don't know. This is the fourth year in a row he won't be celebrating Christmas with us since the incident in the Philippines." Panther replies.

"He shouldn't blame himself after what happened to her." Serena said. "Fang Hua saved them that night."

"And he never opened up the presents he received on Christmas in the past four years." Ava said.

"If Leo continues spending Christmas alone for another few years, he won't enjoy the memories about the ones who care about him. I think we should get him to stop training on Christmas and get him back into spending Christmas time with everyone before the incident!" Serena suggested happily.

"That might be a problem." Ava said. "He's on his way to speak to the Grand Mistress to request to have Christmas off this year so he can train alone."

"You're right." Panther nodded. "Come on, let's go see him."

The three girls left the stadium and walked down the halls. Leo's room was located in the second highest tower of the castle located a little farther from the stadium in the Northwest of the palace. They climb the stairs all the way to the top of the tower. The tower is the home to the students. Panther opens the door. The bed was up against the wall. There was also a balcony as well. A white lamp desk was next to the bed as well as a drawer. There was also a closet located near the glass door window.

The brown desk was in the top right corner of the room and there was also a shelf of books and scrolls with a flat screen tv on the wall.

"He's not here." Ava said, looking around the room.

"Then let's check at one of his usual spots." Panther said.

"I don't think so." Serena said, looking out the window.

Down below walking on the bridge was Leo, wearing his black jacket and was walking next to a man in his early thirties. The man was wearing a brown winter jacket with a navy dark blue scarf around his neck. He dusted the snow off his short red hair as his orange eyes were gazing up at the winter sky.

"Looks like Leo and Master Brock are going into city." Panther said.

Leo and Brock were walking on the bridge.

"I heard we'll be getting more snow tomorrow on the news." Brock said.

"Is that right?"

"Yeah. That'll be perfect for tomorrow night on Christmas Eve."

"Hm. I bet you did your Christmas shopping done already?"

"Yeah, I did. I finished my shopping already at the beginning of this month and their already underneath the Christmas Tree."

"I think I saw some mistletoe hanging in several different places of the ballroom before we left."

"We'll be seeing some kisses here and there. I bet you'll get a kiss on the cheek."

"Oh ha, ha." Leo laughs sarcastically. "I'll be avoiding those mistletoes when the guests are here."

"Oh really?" Brock asked with a sly smile. "I think I know about several girls who would kiss you on the cheek."

"Can we just drop it?" Leo growled, looking away from him as his face was turning red.

"Why not? If you're under the mistletoe with Panther, you and her have to kiss. It's tradition."

"One; this conversation is for grownups like you." Leo turns his head to look at Brock. "And two; Panther and Ava are my childhood friends."

"True, but when you, Serena, Panther and Ava are growing up, you'll have feelings for one another."

"Ok, can we change the subject?" Leo asked as he was getting annoyed. "Anyway, we need to get to the mall."

"Sure."

The three girls were at the dining room while Ron was in the kitchen making dinner. The brown dining table was in the middle of the room. The black stove and microwave was located behind the dining room table and there was a sink behind Panther. Lee was talking to the Grand Mistress at the Yin Yang Grotto. Brock steps into the kitchen and sits down at the table with the girls.

"Hi Brock." Ava greeted him. "Where did you and Leo go?"

"We went to the mall. There were a few things Leo had to pick up at the last minute." Brock answered. "Plus, I have to get some crackers for the next couple of days."

"Nice." Ron said, bringing over several plates of rice and vegetables.

"Is he going to be joining us for dinner?" Ava wondered.

"I am." Leo steps into the kitchen and sits down at the table. "There were a few things I had to take care of."

The dinner was nice and good as they ate. Leo excused himself and went to see Ju Fen and Xiu. He was walking in the halls to head to the third tower that's located in the East Section of the palace. He made it to the tower and knocks on the door a couple of times. Xiu opens the door.

"Hello Leo." Xiu bows her head. "My mistress is waiting for you."

"Lead the way then." Leo nodded.

Xiu moves to the side to allow him to enter. He follows her up to the top floor. There was a bed up against the right side of the wall. The flat screen tv was hanging on another wall across from the bed. A shelf of books and scrolls were close to the door. Leo can hear the shower being turned off from the next room. The door opens and Ju Fen enters her room. She was wearing black pajamas.

"Master Ju Fen. Shall we get started as usual?"

"Yes. Remove your shirt and sit on the edge of the bed." Ju Fen nodded.

Leo removes his red shirt and sits down on the edge of the bed. He watches her walks over to the bed and sits down next to him with her keg touching his leg. Ju Fen places her hands on his right arm. She leans in while tilting her head sideways and biting down on his arm.

"Hm." Leo winces a little as he felt those sharp teeth. "Those teeth of yours are sharp."

Ju Fen has said nothing as she was sucking his blood. She licks her lips after she finished. "Well I am a vampire." Ju Fen said.

"An immortal vampire at that." Leo replied. "Was it enough?"

"Yes." the vampire answered him.

"That's good." Leo said.

"Your blood is still very exquisite every time I taste it." Ju Fen replied. "But I wonder if you'll kill Sying when both of your paths cross again."

"I hope so. What he said about "You're theirs..." caught me off guard before he escaped. After that, I had this feeling. A feeling like a irritable itch that can't go away no matter how many times I tried to ignore it."

"Leo, are you implying that you think this man knows something about your parents?" Xiu asked.

"I think so." Leo shifted his gaze. "But I can't be certain. I don't know if there is a connection between my parents and Sying."

"Pushing that aside, you will still not join the others this Christmas?"

"Yes, as always." Leo answered.

"I think that's a bad decision." Xiu replied.

"Xiu, I made up my mind four years ago. I don't care if I'm alone on Christmas every year. It's better this way for me to be alone." Leo said, putting on his shirt. "Goodnight." He stood up from the bed and left the room.

"Leo." Xiu muttered.

The next day, everyone was putting tablecloths on the tables in the Great Hall. There was several tables on the right side of the room across from the giant glass window doors. Mistletoe was hung in different spots and the Christmas Tree was in the middle of the room. Leo was finishing wrapping up his presents and brought them into the Great Hall and placed them under the tree. Lee was in the kitchen with Brock to help finish the food for tonight and the Grand Mistress, Suzu, was greeting the guests at the entrance with Xiu and Panther. After he finished putting the presents down, Leo looks up at a giant portrait that was high on the wall.

In the picture was a young man and a young a woman. The young man was wearing a black tunic over his white shirt and pants as his black raven hair was being blown gently in the wind. He also wore black boots and white gloves. There was two crystals on the gloves; a black crystal of Yin and white a crystal of Yang. In his hand was a sword with a gray hilt at the end. There was also a small crystal of the Yin Yang symbol in a gray outlined circle. His eyes were jade green as Leo's eyes.

The young woman was wearing a black outlined red Chinese Kimono dress with two snakes overlapping each other to devour the other where there is a single cherry blossom flower in the middle. Her eyes were jade too. Standing behind them was a huge white Bengal tiger and a black dragon.

Leo felt his hand shaking a bit. "Damn it." he muttered. "I still can't get over my fear of felines, even in a picture." While Leo was looking at the picture, someone jumps on his back and put their arms around his neck which causes him to fall flat on his face. "Huh?" Leo lifts his face and looks over his shoulder to see who's on him.

It was a ten-year-old girl. She has bushy brown hair and black eyes. The girl was wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

"Come on, Tori, you shouldn't put your arms around his neck and startling him like that." a teenage boy said walking up to them. He was wearing a green shirt that says
"Merry Christmas", blue jeans and gray shoes.

"Sorry, Leo." she apologizes as she got off of him.

"Don't worry, Tori." Leo said, getting up from the floor. "Just don't touch my shoulder's next time. When did you and Jack arrived?"

"About five minutes ago." Jack answered.

"That's a very nice picture of them." Tori said, looking up at the picture.

"It really is a nice picture." Leo said as he looks at with them.

"Was this before the Great War?" Tori wondered.

"Yes. One week before the Great War started and after the Great War ended, no one has seen them."

"I wouldn't be too sure about it." Jack said.

Leo looks back at him. "What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that my sister and myself are standing in your heroic presence, great hero." Jack jokes as he bows his head to Leo.

"Very funny, Jack." Leo said sarcastically.

"Sorry Leo, but I couldn't help it." Jack chuckled. "Anyway, are you going to hang out with us this year for Christmas?"

"No, Jack." Leo shakes his head.

"Really, Leo? This is the fourth year in a row."

"I know. Nothing will change my mind." Leo replied as he walks away from the two siblings.

For the rest of the day, Leo spent his time training as the others were enjoying a great time with one another. It was a nice and cool evening in the Training Field. The Training Field was located in the back of the palace where anyone could get by crossing the bridge. And even though the weather is cold, he was wearing a long sleeve black shirt and black jeans. Leo had been training hard to keep warm in the cold night. He collapses on one knee panting.

"I take it you're all done training for tonight?" a voice asked.

Leo looks over his shoulder to see a man standing several feet behind him, wearing a yellow jacket, a white hat over his black hair, blue jeans and black snow boots. His brown eyes stares at Leo.

"For now. And I take it all of you are just coming back from the church, Boris." Leo answered.

"Yes, we did." Boris said, opening a bottle of water and taking a drink before speaking again. "But I think it could've been better if you were at the Church with everyone else."

"No, it wouldn't been better for me, Boris." Leo shakes his head. "I'm keeping my promise I made four years ago and I'm not breaking it."

"We're all aware of the promise you made, Leo." Boris said. "Have you eaten dinner yet?"

"Ron and I already had our dinner when all of you went to church."

"And how are you holding up right now?"

"I just want this holiday to be over." he replied before letting out a yawn. "You have a good Christmas without me."

Boris watches Leo walks by and heads back to the palace.

Leo came back inside his room after taking a hot shower. He sat down on his bed and was looking through his list on his iPhone for tomorrow's training. His list was all set and he's ready for tomorrow. He went to his music and stops at one specific song. The song was I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight.

"Hm. She really did die in my arms that night at the church while this song was playing." Leo thought. "Damn it. I still remember how'd she pushed me out of harm's way. It should've been me, not her. And God... He took her away from us, from me. I'll never forgive Him while I live and even in death itself." He closed his eyes as he grips his phone tightly. Leo didn't notice Panther watching him from the doorway.

Panther and everyone else know how Leo hates and despises God. After Fang Hua's funeral, Leo has stopped believing in God and never went to church after Fang Hua's death. She went back to her room and looks out her window. Panther bows her head, praying for a miracle that Leo won't have to spend alone on the holidays and get over his fear of felines before she went to bed.

But before she went to bed, Panther can hear some singing from the battle stadium below. She opens her window to hear who was singing. Panther gasps softly as she recognizes the voice that was singing. "Well what do you know." She chuckles softly before closing her window and went to bed.
