Hi everybody, it's me, I know it's been a while, I've had this story in the back of my head since I watched the movie, and just now finished it. Hope you like it.
In Adventure City a long-haired dachshund was diving around the streets just looking for anything to do. "Man, it's like this every time the paw patrol leaves to do something outside the city, suddenly the city is quiet, and nothing to do," she said to herself then stopped at a light letting people pass. While she was waiting someone crossed right in front of her, more like three little someone's. "Oh, hay Junior Patrollers, helping little old ladies cross the street I see."
"LIBERTY!" the three little Pomeranians said stopping right in front of her, well Mini and Tot did, Nano kept on moving, "sorry, I'll talk with you in a bit," he said and continued to help the little old lady.
"So, what are you guys doing?" Liberty asked.
"Like you said, helping people to cross the street." Mini said.
"As junior patrollers we can't help with real rescues." Tot said.
"We're helping with any little problem anyone needs."
"No pup is too small, and neither the problems for the Junior Patrol!" they said together."
"Oh, new Mimi. I like it." she said, then saw the light might change soon, "hey, why don't you guys come with me." she said hitting a button and letting a side cart pop out. "We can work on anything, not like there's real problems happening right now. Plus, I need someone to talk to with it only being me here in Adventure City." she said.
They jumped right in putting in their helmets as they did so. "What happened to the rest of the paw patrol?" asked Nano said.
"They went back to Adventure Bay for a bit." She saw the light turn green and was about to go, but right before she hit the gas, a car sped right passed. "OH, hold on tight. I'm ready to ride!" she said, hitting the gas and following the car that passed by.
"Go, Liberty, go. Yahoohohooo!" they screamed.
"As a member of the paw patrol, pull over!" Liberty scouted.
"Not happing Puchi." a car shouted from outside the passenger window and threw a bag of caltrops.
"Hay now." she then hit a button and a brush popped out from behind and as she drove over the caltrops they were being collected. "haven't you heard about not littering!"
"Liberty?" The three said seeing some of them getting stuck to her wheels.
"don't worry, even if I have a hole in them, they won't go flat for a while." she said and once she passed all the caltrops, she hit the button again and chased after them again. "Looks like I need some power paws!" she said, and her vehicle then started to stretch out to catch up with the speeders. And once she was right next to them on the passenger side. "Last chance, pull over!"
"NO!" They yelled and then started smacking their car into her scooter.
"Oh, that's how you want it to be." she then powered her vehicle again and made it wrap around the car making them finally stop, "what are you going to do now." she said smirking, but she forgot that the windows were opened, so they crawled out and ran off in different directions. "Hey!" she then jumped out and ran for the driver, "You're not getting away that easily!" she then ran and spun around to launch her but and wrapped around the man. "ha-ha." she said.
"Stupid dog." the man said.
Liberty looked back to see where the other one ran, only to see the man running across the street, but something else caught her eye. The JP was chasing after them without looking for cars, right as a car was coming that wouldn't be able to stop in time. "PUPS!" she yelled letting go of the man and then stretched to the three. "Hum?" They said looking over at her. Then, hearing tires screaming and brakes engaging, they turned and saw a car coming right up. "AAAHHHHH!" They yelled and closed their eyes while waiting, then they felt something wrapping around them then felt an impact from the car's direction and they fell more bumps. "Is everyone ok?" said a strained voice.
When the three opened their eyes, they saw Liberty wrapped around them like a ball, "Liberty?" they said normally, then they looked worried and then started crying, "We're sorry!" and hugging whatever part of her they were close to. "Hay now, it's ok, it's ok, it's over." She then started to unwind and bring them closer to her, "I'll ask again, is everyone ok?" She said so calm and so caring.
They pulled their heads from her chest with tears running down their faces. "Ok, ok." she said pulling them in again to let out how scared they were and still are. "Let it all out."
Half an hour later.
"you guys let it all out yet?" he asked. They just nodded, "ok, how about we go over to the lookout."
"wasn't the lookout destroyed?" Mino asked.
"Oh yeah, you haven't seen it. well, it is not the lookout, it is just in the same location until they bring back the sea patroller, it is more like a garage." she said then when she got to her bike, she saw goop leaking from the wheels. The three of them looked at her, "not one word." she said. "Should hold out for us to get back." she jumped onto her bike and then hit something and something attached to the car, "we should drop this off at the station for the police they can track down the people with the car. Come on pups, were burning daylight." she said. The pups jumped in right after that but not with as much energy as they had earlier. "Ok then hang on tight." she said but instead of going off fast she took it easy.
After taking the car and getting to the old lookout.
"Well, here we are." Liberty said pulling up to the temporary lookout, which looked like a garage, that is until you drove in and looked just like any other lookout station.
"Wow." the patrollers said.
"Yeah, it's nice, the old lookout was nicer." she said, "well you guys get comfortable." she said turning on the big screen, "oh, Apolo's on. I'll be back, just need a powder my nose." she then walked away, and as soon as the door closed to the bathroom and knowing that she would not be able to be heard because it was soundproof, "aaaahhh! this really hurts!" she said collapsing to the ground and grabbing her right side, "good thing I was stretchy or that would not have ended well." She then took off her crystal, "AAAAHHHH!" she yelled and then quickly placed it back on, "Nope it stays on for now, I should call Ryder." She said about to do so when she remembered what time it was, "it would take them too long to get here before nightfall. In the morning, it is not like I'm dying or anything." she said and then actually went to the bathroom like she said. "Ok Liberty, you got to be Stonge. don't show them that you're in pain." She said, "Maybe I should see if Marshalls left his Med pack so I can use it." and then placed a paw on her side, "Just need to get throw this a bit longer." She then straightened up and walked out, "Hey what I miss?" She said acting like nothing is wrong.
"Nothing much just not feeling it." said Tot
"It hasn't been the same for a long while." Mimi just really wasn't into it.
"You sure you're, ok?" Nano asked.
"Sure, I am. If I wasn't would I be able to do this?" She then did the worm. "See totally fine." she said throw clenched teeth.
"So, you're not mad at us for chasing the man and letting him get away." Mimi said.
"Now I never said that. I was so angry watching you chase him, not because you almost got hit by a car." They all flinched, and she then hugged them, "But because you went off and tried to do something you guys are still not ready for. You still need more time before you guys can do something like that."
"We were training with you so we could be ready." Tot said.
"You're still too young, and small, what would you do if you did catch him." she said.
"Well, we..." Nano couldn't finish what he was saying because Liberty just jumped on to all three of them.
"Hum, what was that." she said like they weren't there.
"Hay come one." "This isn't funny." "Get off." they all said.
"I guess it was nothing." she then, "she then started changing channels, "Now let's see what's on. Oh, what's this."
"But how can I live without you." "I know you can." "No, I can't, without you, I have no reason to live."
"It's a mushy movie." "No." "not far." They all complained. Then they started trying to push her off.
"OH, I didn't know this bed had a massage setting." she said.
"Get off." she said, pushing harder. Maybe too hard.
"OOWW!" she said rolling over and grabbing her side.
The Tro looked at her thinking they might have, but then realized she was holding her side. "You did get hurt." Tot said.
"What, no... it's just..." she was trying to think of something.
"It was our fault." Nano said.
"We don't deserve to be junior patrollers." Mimi said, and then they all started to almost cry.
"Hey, now. Come on." She quickly went up to them and hugged them close to herself. "I don't care if I'm hurt. What I care about is that you guys are not hurt." she said.
"Really." they all said sniffing.
"Sure, I do. I'm going to be honest with you three, the first time I met with you, it was the worst day of my life." she said. The Tro looked hurt, "then when I was told I have to look after you, that became the new worst day of my life." The Tro looked more hurt. "But then when I was training you, and watched you grow. I'm glad I met you guys. And if I can help it, I will always protect you in any way I can." she said and rubbed her nose on all their heads. "I care for guys so much."
"Really?" they asked.
"Yeah, you guys are some awesome pups." she said giving a little noogie to each of them.
"Hehe, *YAWN*" they all yawned at the same time.
"Yeah, almost getting hit would make you a bit tired and getting over shock."
"It's not that." said Neno rubbing his eye.
"We were up late last night drawing some pitchers." Tot said.
"as well as keeping an eye out for emergencies." Mimi said.
"shhhh" the other two said.
"I see, well since we can't really do anything" she said looking at her bike and goop coming out of the wheels. "I think we should all get some sleep."
"But we don't want to, "They all said.
"You want to hear a lullaby" she said. They all nodded. "Ok then, come one then get comfortable." she said feeling them get comfortable. "Ok, this is the only one I know. I think this was the first lullaby my mom ever sang to me; I don't know what the words are, but it helped me sleep." she said then cleared her throat. "Læg nu hovet min nute girls, Du er jo I paradis, Luk nu dine øjne i, Lytte til junglen's trolleri, Mørke er fuld af mystiske lyde, Dem, du vil lære at kende og elske.

When she finished, she saw them peacefully sleeping. "Night you three." she said. "Love you guys so much." she then felt her side still hurting, "can't forget to call Ryder in the morning." said and then a yawn herself. "Should get some sleep myself." She then turned off the TV then wrapped herself a little tighter around the tree. She gave them one last smile and drifted to sleep herself.
So, there you go. I was trying to find the perfect place for one or all of them to call her Mom or something, but I think this is just a good. The lullaby is from the movie Jungledyret Hugo 3 Rita's lullaby
