When the cherry blossoms fall to the ground...
And the scent of perfume fills the air...
The air sparkles with a new life and light...
As the gates of Whole Cake Academy open for the day...

"Luffy has been getting along quite well here at Whole Cake. Can't believe it's already been a month since he first started attending here."

Shakky was smoking at her desk once more, the window open to let her smoke out. In front of her was a video call she was doing on her laptop. On the screen, Rayleigh, her husband, was sitting at his desk at Golden Academy and having a nice chat with her.

"Is that all you called to talk about? I should be flattered that you wanted to speak to me at work, but this just seems like a routine update about our godson." Rayleigh joked, getting a small chuckle out of his wife. "I'm glad to hear that he's been hanging in there, especially after what I heard about Linlin's constant bullying."

Shakky took another puff before rolling her eyes in annoyance. "That girl has caused so much trouble for this school. I think having Luffy here was a suitable punishment for all her misdeeds. He doesn't take crap from her at all."

"Sounds like Dragon's son! If his mother were still around to see him..."

"You're still looking for evidence of her being alive, aren't you?"

There was silence as the two gave each other grim looks. Luffy's mother and Dragon's wife had been missing for ages now, both of them not giving up hope that she is still alive. The whole extended family volunteered to help the two find her, but even they were puzzled on how she disappeared. The only trace they could find on her was that she had attended Whole Cake Academy at some point. Shakky had taken over the position of headmistress to find any clues about where she might've vanished to.

"My school has little information on her, despite us being sister schools and all. I thought for sure that someone would've remembered her in her own school." Rayleigh sighed, rubbing the temples of his forehead.

"I'll keep searching along with the help of Olvia. Her background as an Ohara scholar does help with this a bit and hiding her and her daughter within the school's protection services keeps the government from poking their noses where they shouldn't belong." Shakky stared out the window to see her students coming in for the day. "Although, with the way this upcoming weekend goes, we might be seeing a lot more chaos."

"Quiet down class and listen up!"

Luffy looked up from his book as he stared at Miss Monet at the front of the class. However, instead of the usual green haired bespectacled teacher, there was a small girl sitting at her desk. She had aquamarine hair and dark blue eyes. She wore a white dress with light blue polka dots, a magenta hooded cape with bear-like ears, a monocle shaped and worn like an eyepatch on her left eye, and a small crown, as well as open-toed sandals. Her appearance was a carbon cut out of the teacher.

And she was currently eating grapes while snuggling a cute black bear plushie.

"Um...where's Miss Monet?" A student asked her, curious at the small child.

Popping another grape in her mouth, the small girl gave a grin. "My big sister is running late today and has asked me to fill in her role for this period. I was also supposed to tell you that family weekend was coming up soon." Taking another handful of grapes into her mouth, she gulped loudly. "My name is Sugar by the way."

Camie gasped at her cute outfit. "Your outfit is adorable! Who dresses you in the morning Sugar-chan?"

Sugar started blushing red and cuddled the black bear tightly. "I dress myself..."

"How cute!"

"Her style is quite unique!"

"I love her bear motif!"

Luffy even had some kind words to put out. "I think that outfit really brings out your cute visage."

Sugar finally noticed the only boy in class and gave him a wary glance. "You're the strawhat boy that sis talks about!" Walking over towards him, she examined his face. "I thought you would be an ugly troll monster or something."

Luffy laughed, making a funny face. "Do I look like an ugly troll monster?"

Sugar backed up in shock. "N-N-No! I just thought all boys were mean and messy looking." She covered her mouth with her bear and looked away shyly. "You don't look half bad."

Suddenly, she felt a hand pat her bear hood and saw a smiling Luffy look down at her. "Hey, not all guys are bad. The bad ones just set a terrible example on how we boys act. One day, you'll find someone special that you like and maybe he'll treat you with the respect you deserve."

The girls around the room started whispering and blushing at Luffy's words. They had all heard rumors on how nice and sweet Luffy was to all females and were getting to know him a bit better due to his actions and gestures.

Sugar puffed out her cheeks in embarrassment, not used to older boys being so nice to her. Plopping her chair down in front of Luffy, she placed her bag of grapes in front of him.

"Do whatever you want this period. I want to talk to the cute boy." She told the class, taking out a small pink polka dotted bag and bringing out a coloring book. "Just don't tell my big sis."

"Ahh~! My favorite school event has finally come!"

The student council was once again holding a monthly meeting in their room. Kalifa was taking notes and listening to everything that was being said. Nami was looking over the school's recent expenses and marking them down accordingly. Vivi worked on the clubs contributions to the school and how they were keeping themselves afloat amidst the chaos that was the class president.

"Could it be family weekend already? Have you chosen the events that will happen?" Kalifa asked, not looking up from her pile of work.

Linlin gave an enthusiastic nod. "Why of course I did, my dear Kalifa. I've prepared many different games and activities, food and drinks, and even a tour of the school for those families that have first-year students here. Everyone's families are invited to enjoy and join in on the games."

"Why bother?" Nami put out, rolling her eyes. "We all know that you invite your family and basically wipe out any hope of winning the coveted Family Day Trophy."

Linlin gave her a sweet smile while munching on tea cakes. "Why Nami, my family is just like any other family. We all support each other, we comfort each other, and we make sure to win no matter who gets in our way!" Fire danced in her eyes as she made a menacing grin. "I'm sure you and your family will be able to attend and participate. After all, you are part of the council."

Vivi gave Nami a calming pat to prevent her from lashing out at the pinkette. "Don't worry Nami, my family also participates every year too. We've never won, but it's the thought that counts."

Kalifa pushed up her glasses. "Although, if I had to wager, this year Linlin might lose the trophy. Monkey D. Luffy has a mixed bag of relatives that could even give yours a run for their money."

The room got silent as the two girls stared at Kalifa as if she had sprouted another head. The usually calm headed female who agreed with whatever Linlin said had just made herself a target for a classic Linlin meltdown. And the girl's face was turning redder and redder at the words that just spilled out of her mouth. Vivi hid under the table while Nami backed away and braced for impact.

Before the pinkette could give her second-in-command a piece of her mind, the door opened abruptly. Standing in the doorway was a slender woman of unknown age. She had short curly blonde hair, blue eyes, red lipstick, and red-painted fingernails. She wears a backfree salmon colored dress with a purple end, with pink diamond patterns on the bottom, a small white cape, a sunhat with a flower on it, and high heels shoes with ribbons on top. A small pink handbag was in one hand and a lunchbag was in the other.

"Hello girls, and hello to my lovely niece as well!" A sweet older female voice rung out, a smile on the woman's face. "I came by to see how everyone was doing and to give Kalifa her lunch." Going over to Kalifa, she handed her the lunch. "You were in such a rush this morning that you left it. I was going to have Lucci deliver it, but I almost forgot about the no males policy this school has."

Linlin's mood changed drastically as she smiled at the woman. "Well if it isn't Lady Stussy! We were just talking about Family Fun Weekend that's coming up."

The woman gave a cute gasp of delight. "That was this weekend? I can't wait to attend! Any event you do is bound to be loads of fun Linlin."

Nami leaned over to whisper in Vivi's ear. "How is that woman even related to Kalifa? She acts totally opposite in every manner to her serious nature."

Vivi whispered back, equally shocked. "Yeah, and she gets along well with Linlin-san. How did she manage to do that?"

The school bell rung, signalling lunch time. Both girls got up from their chairs and headed towards the door, not before being stopped by the ever pleasant Stussy.

"I don't think I've met you dear." She stared at Nami with a warm smile. "Are you the newest one?"

Nami bowed politely, feeling a slight shiver run down her spine. "I'm Nami Mikan, a first-year student and yes, I'm the school's treasurer."

"Oh I see, you keep the school from going over budget." Clasping hands with the orange haired girl, the woman got close to her face. "Do be careful with how much this school spends. Don't want to close down the doors of this school just yet! Not after the terrible incident that took place here years ago."

Nami took her hands out and backed away slightly. "Um...uh huh. I'm just gonna get to lunch now." Waving goodbye to Linlin and Kalifa, she left with Vivi to lunch.

Stussy sighed, poking her cheek in a cute manner. "Wonder what her problem was? Am I that intimidating or something?"

"Not at all Lady Stussy! In fact, I think you're peachy keen!" Linlin gathered her school books and bowed at her. "You can find your way out. I'm going to lunch, and I'll see you in a bit Kalifa."

"See you on Saturday sweetie pie! Tell your sister Pudding I said hello." Stussy called after her, watching the pinkette run down the hallway. The second she saw that she was out of earshot, she frowned and took out a makeup kit. "Now then, tell me everything that has been going on and if I need to get involved once more."

Kalifa started to sweat nervously. Sure, her aunt had a side she would always show to everyone else, but her true form shone out whenever she was alone with her and her brothers. Ever since their parents died in a horrible car accident years ago, they were taken in by Stussy and raised to be the perfect assassins. While the others would attend the police academy a few blocks away, Stussy had placed her in Whole Cake with the purpose of finding potential clients and anything that would benefit the government.

Thus, while she was friends with Linlin, it was more to spy on her and her ever growing family.

"Nothing important to report for now, Linlin and her family have been quiet." Kalifa muttered, watching her aunt apply another layer of foundation onto her face. "However, the newest concern in the school is one Monkey D. Luffy."

The snapping of a closed makeup case made her jump slightly. Stussy turned towards her niece with a look that could be described as her trying to claw her throat out while discussing the weather.

"A male in Whole Cake, no scratch that, that man's son attending this school. On top of that, his mother..." She started to grumble as she took out her phone. "I thought I'd be done with dealing with these blasted D's once and for all. Seems that this weekend is one for my attention."

"I mean, how else will we catch that D woman by using her beloved son as bait?"
