AN: Hello everyone! After a long time, here I bring you another TMNT 2012 story, my favorite of all the versions that have been made.
This story will be based on both 'Frozen Turtles' by 'Iron117Prime' and my story 'Elementary Turtles', so, for sure, you will see things from both stories, but I can assure you that this story will be very different from the other two.
'TMNT 2012' is set during the third season with some changes.
'Raya and the Last Dragon' is set after the end of the movie.
I don't own anything except the OCs.
New York City.
A city where people could live peacefully.
At least, during the day, since, at night, criminals took advantage of the cloak of night to commit crimes.
However, what the city didn't know was that it had a small group of vigilantes and heroes who made sure that these crimes weren't committed.
Said group of heroes were currently jumping from building to building until they stopped at the edge of another building that overlooked an abandoned building.
The clouds shifted in the wind, letting the moonlight illuminate the heroes, revealing their appearance.
Four of those heroes weren't human, but humanoid turtles carrying masks and weapons.
Next to them were two humans.
One was a red-haired girl in a ninja costume while the other was a boy with a field hockey mask and a couple of weapons, from a field hockey stick to a bat.
They were actually the teenage mutant ninja turtles and their human allies.
"Is this the place, Donnie?" asked the blue-masked mutant turtle whose name was Leonardo.
"Positive. The signal I intercepted indicates that this is where some project involving dimensional energy is being carried out." said the purple-masked mutant turtle whose name was Donatello.
"This alone can have the word Kraang written all over it." said the red-masked mutant turtle whose name was Raphael.
"But hadn't we expelled them all after that battle to take back the city?" asked the orange-masked turtle whose name was Michelangelo.
"Well it looks like the message didn't get through to all of them." said the boy whose name was Casey Jones.
"Besides, let's not forget that they're still allied with Shredder and the Foot." said the girl whose name was April O'Neil.
"And that means they won't be planning anything good in there." said Leo.
"So what do we do? Do we go in and take them down before they know what hit them?" asked Raphael.
"We could, but we need to know what they're planning. So, for now, we'll sneak in quietly. All of us." said Leo.
"Why are you looking at me?" asked Mikey confused.
After that, the four turtles pulled out guns with a grappling hook and all four shot, causing the hooks to snag on the abandoned building as they tied the end of the rope to the building they were on.
They slid down the ropes until they reached the other building, right next to a window.
With one of his katanas, Leo cut a small hole through which he inserted his arm and opened the window from the inside, allowing everyone to enter the building.
Once inside, the turtles and their friends jumped downstairs and hid behind some boxes.
Peeking out, they could all see a huge ring-shaped device and around it were several robots with small brain-like beings placed in their chests.
Those were the Kraang, an alien race from Dimension X that seek to conquer Earth and almost did so a couple of times, one of which, ended in them conquering New York, but the turtles defeated them all those times.
"It really was the Kraang." said Raphael.
"Donnie, is that what I think it is?" asked Leo.
"Why yes. That's a portal device." said Donnie.
"What would they want that for?" asked April.
"Maybe they want to go home with the others." said Mikey before Raph smacked him in the back of the head.
"Yeah, or maybe they want to bring their own back." said Raph.
"Shh. Shut up." said Leo.
At that moment, a Kraang droid approached another who was at the device's control point.
"Kraang wants to know what is known as the status of what is known as the portal device." said the Kraang droid.
"That which is known as the portal device is in the state known as stable. The plan of the one known as Shredder may be completed." said the other Kraang droid, much to the surprise of the turtles and allies.
"If the cube head is involved, it definitely can't be anything good." said Casey.
"Ok. Let's go finish this project." said Leo pulling out his katanas.
"Finally a good idea." said Raph pulling out his sais.
"First, let's ring the doorbell." said Casey pulling out an explosive puck and with his field hockey stick, he sent it flying directly at a Kraang droid that exploded as soon as the puck hit it.
That was enough for all the Kraang droids to turn their gazes in the direction of origin, only to see the turtles and their friends come out of hiding.
"Knock-knock. Anybody home?" asked Mikey with his nunchucks.
"They are the ones known as turtles." said a Kraang droid.
"There are also those known as April O'Neil and Casey Jones." said another Kraang droid.
"Kraang's orders in these cases are what is known as eliminate." said another Kraang droid before they all drew their weapons.
"Ninjas, take them down!" said Leo as he and the others charged in as the Kraang droids began shooting, causing the heroes to move quickly to dodge the shots.
Leo reflected a pair of beams with his katanas before using them to cleave a pair of Kraang droids in half.
Raph charged straight at a Kraang droid and impaled his weapon with one of his sais before stabbing his other sai through the head and, with a jerk, rendered the droid headless.
"Booyakasha!" shouted Mikey moving back and forth quickly to dodge the shots while hitting any Kraang droids in his path with his nunchucks.
Donnie used his staff as a pole to get past the gunfire, landing behind a Kraang droid that he knocked down with a swipe of his staff.
April pulled out her tensen and threw it like a frisbee, decapitating several Kraang droids in the process and when she retrieved her weapon, she found herself surrounded by several Kraang droids, but then, she used her psychic powers to send out a wave that knocked them all down.
"Goongala!" shouted Casey using his skates to move with more speed to dodge the shots.
He approached one Kraang droid and knocked it down with a swing of his stick before approaching another and hitting it with the hidden taser in his gauntlet, causing it to short-circuit, shutting it down.
Before long, all the Kraang in the place had been taken down.
"Ha. Piece of cake." said Casey.
"Yeah. Compared to the last few times, the Kraang must be at their lowest point." said Raph.
"While we're still at our highest." said Mikey before high-fiving the two.
"Let's not let our guard down. They may have noticed us." said Leo.
"He's right. We'd better destroy that device so they can't get to use it." said April.
"I'll get right on it." began Donnie before heading over to the control panel and getting down to typing in some commands until, then, he discovered something. "Huh? That's weird."
"What's wrong, Donnie?" asked Leo.
"Well… this portal isn't connected to Dimension X." said Donnie.
"What?" asked Casey in confusion.
"And where were you planning to go?" asked Mikey.
Before Donnie could answer, the doors opened and multiple Kraang droids entered the place before surrounding the group with their weapons pointed at them.
"Those known as the turtles and their human allies are in what is known as surrounded." said a Kraang droid.
"Sewer apples." said Raph preparing to fight.
"How did they show up so quickly?" asked April.
"Kraang knew that those known as the turtles and their human allies would show up." said another Kraang droid.
That was enough for Leo's eyes to widen before the revelation.
"It was a trap!" said Leo.
"Affirmative. That who is known as Shredder planned to lure you to this place where Kraang was building what is known as a portal device and send you to a place you would never return from." said a Kraang droid.
"Seattle, no!" shouted Mikey receiving scowls from the others.
"Negative. That who is known as Shredder thought of a better place for those known as the turtles and their human allies." said a Kraang droid who entered a couple of commands to the control panel, causing the portal to activate and show a view of the other side, which turned out to be…
"THE SPACE?!" asked the entire group in unison.
"That's right. Now go to what is known as outer space or Kraang will force you to go in by force." said another Kraang droid.
"We can't go into space. We don't have the right equipment." said Mikey.
"I don't think it matters much. With the lack of oxygen and extremely low temperatures, we would die shortly after crossing the portal." said Donnie.
"Thanks for the info, bro." said Raph sarcastically.
"We're not going anywhere!" said Leo pointing at a Kraang droid with his katana.
"Kraang knew that the one known as Leonardo would say something similar. Kraang will proceed to act harshly." said a Kraang droid before all the Kraang droids began shooting, forcing the heroes to move quickly.
Even though they were shooting down anyone who got in their way, the number of enemies was quite a bit larger, making things difficult for the group.
Gradually, the Kraang eventually drove the group back toward the portal.
"This isn't good. At this rate, we'll be sucked into the portal." said April.
"Well Casey Jones isn't going down without a fight." said Casey.
"But there are too many of them and more may be coming as we speak." said Donnie.
"We can't give up. There has to be some solution." said Leo not giving up hope.
"Well I hope we find it soon." said Raph.
Mikey quickly started to think of some way to resolve the situation, but with the large number of Kraang droids and the portal, things were looking complicated.
That's when something clicked in his mind and he turned his head to look at the control panel.
"In that case, let's get rid of a problem." said Mikey pulling out a ninja star which he quickly threw, sticking it into the control panel, causing it to start sparking.
That caused the portal to shut down while the rest of the device began to spark as well.
"That who is known as Michelangelo is what is known as an idiot. Kraang asks if he knows what he has done." said a Kraang droid.
"Yes, what have you done, Mikey?" asked Raph.
"Saved our lives. That's what I've done." said Mikey.
"I don't think you have. From the state I'd say it's going to… EXPLODE!" shouted Donnie.
"Everyone, get out of here! Hurry!" shouted Leo before they all took off running as fast as they could.
Unfortunately, the sparks from the device grew larger and before anyone could react, the device exploded in a very bright light that covered the entire building to the point where you could see the light coming through the windows of the building from the outside.
By the time the light dissipated, there was nothing left in the place except for the device which was smashed to pieces.
AN: This is where this story begins.
I had originally planned to introduce the turtles first as in the other two stories, but I wanted to do something different.
