"Second degree unspecified soiling in zones B through... K..." The Cleaner said as he held a tape recorder in his right hand as he examined the area around Keats' sink in his trailer as Keats, Marie and Adam sat in lawn chairs with a small table next to them, outside Keats' caravan as they overheard him working inside.
"The heck is "zone B through K?"' Adam asked in confusion towards Marie, who could only shrug in response as Keats stared at the ground with his hands on his face.
"Why did you let this man into my house?!" Keats said as he turned to his sister and her husband.
"You have Pokémon now and I think you have to improve your living habits if you want to make sure they'll be okay in the future." Marie replied.
"North ceiling corner..." The Cleaner said from inside as the trio stopped talking to overhear once more. "...Currently containing Spinarak webbing... With popcorn kernels in it." He continued with a slightly disgusted tone in his voice.
"Uhhh..." Adam mumbled.
"Keats, you don't own a Spinarak, do you?" Marie asked in confusion.
"No?" Keats said in response. "...One might have got in when I left a window open though..." He continued.
"And why are there popcorn kernels in Spinarak webbing in your trailer?" Adam asked as Keats made a smug grin as he sat back in his chair.
"I put them there... So that would make them "authentic cobwebs."' Keats said with a grin, making a terrible pun as Adam and Marie glared at him. "What- glufh!" He tried to continue talking until he suddenly felt something hit him in the kneecap as he looked over to see Timburr had hit him in the leg with his log as Druddigon and Pineco looked at their trainer with annoyance. "What?! I thought it was a decent joke! Just get back in your Pokéballs!" Keats said defensively in their direction as he pulled out their balls to recall them.
"Now I'm kind of glad I called this creepy guy." Marie said as she put her right hand on her forehead as Adam lifted up a mug from the table.
"Seriously dude, you got to get better at cleaning." Adam said as he sipped the water that was in the mug. "What's going to happen when you get more Pokémon? Or invite someone over?" He continued as he pointed at the trailer.
"Oh come on, the "get more Pokémon" thing is a maybe, but I highly doubt there's going to be issues with me inviting someone over to my place in the near future." Keats countered as he reached down to grab another mug off the table. "Besides, we don't need this guy. My home is not that bad." He continued.
As he grabbed the handle, Keats lifted up his drink to take a sip as Adam and Marie looked at him as they noticed a sticky orange substance was connecting the bottom of the mug to the top of the table. As Keats drank his water, the table was now slightly dangling above the ground by the unknown adhesive, lifted up by Keats without him noticing as he shifted his drink down and the table being put in its original position.
"The table was from inside..." Marie said with disturbed eyes.
"...Okay that's gross..." Adam said as the Cleaner walked out of the trailer, still sporting the same creepy and contemptuous look on his face as he put his briefcase on the ground next to the entrance.
"This is going to take some time..." The Cleaner said as he approached Keats in his chair, standing behind him. "Everything is very... Dirty." He said as he bent down to talk into Keats' ear as the husky young man shivered.
"...How bad?" Marie asked as the Cleaner looked at her before shifting his attention back to Keats.
"You have grime under your sink tap. That's... Incredibly nasty." The Cleaner said as he pointed inside. "The state of your bedroom is just... Shameful." He continued as he bent down at Keats to talk into the ear. "And the dust... My god, the dust." The Cleaner said in a deeper tone as Keats began to shake with frustration.
"My home is not that dusty!" Keats exclaimed loudly as he jumped out of his chair as the Cleaner shifted to being in front of Keats.
"Oh? Look at this then..." The Cleaner said as he reached into his teal suits jacket pocket to pull out what appeared to be a white glove that was completely stained in a black dust-like substance as Keats' eyes widened.
"...What surface was that from?" Marie said in shock as Adam's jaw dropped.
"This... Was from me waving my hand through the air inside your brothers caravan." The Cleaner as he looked at Marie and Adam before locking eyes with an embarrassed Keats.
"Oh my god..." Adam said as he and Marie grabbed their mugs of water off the sticky table and begun to drink them.
"And even worse than that is your cups..." The Cleaner said in Keats' direction as Marie and Adam stopped upon hearing him. "Yes..." He said as he walked in a circle around Keats before stopping behind him. "You have very... Dusty... Cups..." The Cleaner said as Marie and Adam looked down at their cups.
'"Pfffff!"' Marie and Adam exclaimed as they spat out the water from their mouths.
"Between the cracks in the ceiling, the state of your refrigerator, your bedsheets appearing months old without being replaced and the bathroom being locked to prevent anyone going inside which makes me incredibly curious of the disturbed state it's in." The Cleaner said, listing off issues with Keats' trailer.
"...Seriously, do not go in the bathroom..." Keats said as the Cleaner walked over to the entry stairs.
"I also found this... Under your bed." The Cleaner said as he reached in and pulled out a small creature.
Being held in his right hand by the back of its neck was a small skunk-like creature. Sporting dark-purple fur, a cream-colored streak along its back and a rounded face with a narrow orange nose, orange-rimmed eyes and a pair of whiskers. It also sported a large tail and gray claws on all four feet as Keats, Marie and Adam stared at it with confusion.
"Stunk! Stunk!" The skunk-like creature muttered as it flailed around in The Cleaners grasp.
"Uhhh..." Keats muttered, unsure of what to make of what was in the Cleaners hand as Rotom floated out of the trailer and over to Adam and Marie to scan it for its Dex entry.
'"Stunky, the Skunk Pokémon, a Dark and Poison type. It sprays a nose-curling, stinky fluid from its rear to repel attackers. Its noxious gas has even been said to cause memory loss."' Rotom said, reading off Stunky's PokéDex entry.
"Thanks, Rotom." Marie said towards the floating phone Pokémon.
"At leazzzzt someone is appreciative of me reading off information." Rotom said as Keats turned his head to glare at the phone for the obnoxious comment.
"This was inside a hole under your bed." The Cleaner said as he forcefully pushed Stunky into Keats arms, causing him to hold the skunk-like Pokémon. "Alongside piles of banana peels and some empty bags for chips." He continued as he removed both white gloves from his hands, placing them inside his pockets and then proceeding to take out a hand sanitizer dispenser from his back pocket to sterilize his hands further.
"Were you taking care of this Stunky?" Adam questioned towards Keats as he continued to hold Stunky.
"When did you catch it?" Marie asked.
Staring at the two of them and not sure how to respond, Keats proceeded to reach behind his back and pulled out a Pokéball. Turning it on, he tapped Stunky lightly on the side of its head as it converted into energy and went inside the Pokéball. Shaking three times, the Pokémon was caught by Keats as Marie and Adam watched on.
"Stunky has been registered to your PokéDex!" Rotom exclaimed as Keats caught a new Pokémon.
"...Now?" Keats said, replying to the question as Adam and Marie were just staring at him, confused and surprised.
"That's one way to catch a new Pokémon I guess..." Adam thought.
"This has to be one of the dirtiest homes I've ever encountered." The Cleaner said as he eyeballed Keats, him looking away with an embarrassed expression.
"Somehow I knew you'd say that." Marie commented as Keats looked at his sister with annoyance.
"You think you could do it?" Adam asked to the Cleaner as he looked at the trailer.
"Hmmm... For the right money and with the right assistance." The Cleaner said as he revealed his suitcase to the trio.
Putting his suitcase down, he opened the top to reveal a myriad of cleaning instruments from a foldable broom to multiple different detergents and disinfectants. In one corner of the briefcase, notably, was a pair of regular red and grey Pokéballs.
"Damn..." Adam said upon seeing how prepared the Cleaner was.
"The hundreds of four out of five reviews online were true. This guy is good." Marie said, equally impressed. "And he's a trainer too." She thought.
'"Four out of five?"' Adam questioned towards his wife as she leaned to whisper.
"The reviews were praising his skills as a cleaner, but they also brought up how frustrating it is to be berated by the man for his high standards of hygiene." Marie said quietly as Keats continued to look away.
"Now... Is there a place you may go while I get to... Work?" The Cleaner said as he reached down into his case and pulled out his folding broom.
"Huh?" Keats mumbled.
"He can't stay?" Marie asked.
"Oh, this is a very big job." The Cleaner said as he turned back towards the trailer and examined it. "Cleaning the rooms and kitchen isn't the only thing I'll be doing. I'll also be replacing the portions of the ceiling with better quality tiling and fixing the plumbing so it will be less..." He continued until getting in Keats' face again. "Dirty..." The Cleaner said bluntly, his minty breath making Keats cringe.
"How long will that take?" Adam questioned as Keats looked at the Cleaner.
"Hmmm... Roughly two weeks. Maybe ten days with no hassle." The Cleaner said as Keats looked at the Cleaner with shocked eyes.
'"Two weeks?!"' Keats replied before turning to his sister and her husband. "You can't be serious?!" He said angrily.
"...That... Is a big chunk of time..." Adam said cautiously. "And probably money..." He said towards his wife.
"Well... You had something to do, remember?" Marie said towards her younger brother as Keats made a concerned face.
"Oh yeah, you have to go to Alola-" Adam said until Keats spoke up to cut him off.
"Uggggghhhhhhhhh!" Keats groaned loudly upon hearing the region he has to go to next.
"Oh, not again..." Marie said with an annoyed tone as the Cleaner crunched numbers on a calculator behind Keats.
"This..." The Cleaner said as Keats stopped groaning and turned around towards the Cleaner and grabbed the calculator from his gloved hand. "Should be your estimate." He continued as Marie and Adam approached.
The trio proceeded to grow wide-eyed from viewing the large figure on the calculator of what it would cost to completely clean Keats' trailer. A number dangerously exceeding the entire amount of money Keats had in his possession from the tournament he participated in back in Unova.
"So, I go broke trying to get my house clean... That's how it's going to be, huh?!" Keats complained loudly.
"...And that... Is a big chunk of coin..." Adam said with a concerned face towards Marie as she made a similar expression.
"Maybe this was the wrong guy to offer the job to..." Marie thought as she looked at the Cleaner. "Uhhh, you know, thanks for the assessment but... We might go with someone else." She said as she walked over to the Cleaner.
"Nonsense, I'm already here and ready to go. I may as well get started. I'm personally up for such a challenge to clean such a place that is so unequivocally..." The Cleaner said as Keats looked at him with a twitch in his eye.
"Don't say it, don't say it, don't say it..." Keats thought.
"Dirty." The Cleaner bluntly stated as Keats threw the calculator on the ground, smashing it.
"Okay! No more about cleaning! I want you out of here!" Keats shouted angrily as he pointed at the Cleaner.
"...Was that a threat?" The Cleaner said with squinted eyes. "Be that as it may, I'm very qualified to handle such a messy cleanup." He said towards Marie.
"I don't care! You freak me out, you insult me and my home and the lack of nasal hair in your nose is making me incredibly uncomfortable!" Keats exclaimed.
"May I make a suggestion?" Marie said as Keats, Adam and the Cleaner looked at her. "Okay, that's a real large number you gave, is it possible you could bump it down any?" She asked as the man rubbed his chin with right gloved hand.
"Hmmmm... Well, it does seem like your brother is rather heated with me. So, how about this?" The Cleaner said as he bent down and grabbed his Pokéballs from his case. "Personally, I don't like to dirty my Pokémon, but how about a battle to settle this conflict? If I win, the price stays the same and I clean the house. If I lose, I'll leave and let your brother wallow in his filth." He said.
"...Not much of a good deal there, we'd still have to find someone to clean Keats' place." Adam said with a disapproving face.
"Yeah, not really..." Marie said as she looked at her husband.
"Fine!" Keats exclaimed to the surprise of his family members. "I just want this guy gone!" He said angrily as he walked out to an open space in the back of the ranch as Rotom floated over to him.
'"And Keats is jumping the gun..."' Marie and Adam thought simultaneously, unsurprised by Keats' rash behavior.
"You haven't battled zzzzince the PokéPotluck. Are you sure you're up for this?" Rotom asked towards an annoyed Keats.
"I don't want this creep touching my stuff!" Keats complained. "Now let me see, do we have info on that Stunky?" He asked as he grabbed Rotom and flipped through screens to his Pokémon before clicking on an icon for his recently caught Poison and Dark type.
"The Stunky you caught is a male, its ability is "Aftermath," and its currently available moves are: "Poison Gas," "Fury Swipes," "Smokescreen" and "Focus Energy."' Rotom explained as Keats examined the details.
"It can poison others, that's something... It definitely isn't particularly strong at the moment though." Keats thought as he considered his options as the Cleaner walked over to the opposite side of where Keats was.
"This should be entertaining..." Adam said as he sat in his lawn chair as Marie sat next to him.
"First time I'll see Keats battle in person..." Marie said as she sat back with an intrigued expression on her face.
"If I may..." The Cleaner said as he caught Keats' attention. "Shall we have a Double Battle?" He said as Keats looked over at his sister.
"It's a type of battle where both sides have two Pokémon on the field at once." Marie explained.
"Winner is decided when both Pokémon on one side is knocked out." Adam said, further explaining.
"Huuuuh..." Keats muttered. "Alrighty then... Let's get this over with. Faster I get this done, faster I can go back to more important stuff! Like breakfast!" He exclaimed as Rotom floated back over to Marie and Adam.
"And by that, he meanzzzz making toaster strudel." Rotom said with an exasperated expression as Marie and Adam shook their heads with dumbfounded smiles.
"Behold my partners in hygiene. Come on out! Altaria! Cincinno!" The Cleaner said loudly as he threw out his Pokéballs, both opening with beams of light emerging from them.
From one ball, out came a small grey chinchilla-like creature with tiny, rounded arms and a long tail that sported two large, long fluffs of white fur on its head with a similar fluff around its neck like a scarf. The other was much larger and appeared like a long blue bird with wings that looked like feathery clouds.
"Cincinno!" Cincinno muttered as it brushed its fur scarf.
"Taaaaarr!" Altaria exclaimed as it stretched its wings.
"Whoa..." Keats said with a raised eyebrow, never seeing the Pokémon before as Rotom floated over.
"Allow me, zzzzt." Rotom said as it scanned Altaria and then Cincinno. '"Altaria, the Humming Pokémon, a Dragon and Flying type. It dances through the sky among billowing, cotton-like clouds. It also hums with its soprano voice."' The phone Pokémon said, reading off the PokéDex entry. '"Cincinno, the Scarf Pokémon, a Normal type. The white fur on Cincinno is said to be amazing to touch and is coated in a special bodily oil that helps to repel dust."' Rotom said, finishing up reading before floating away.
"Hmmmm... A Dragon type and a Normal type..." Keats said to himself as he reached behind himself and pulled out an Ultra Ball and a regular PokéBall. "I think I'll go with you two. Druddigon! Stunky! You're on call!" He shouted as he threw his balls.
"Druddigon!" Druddigon exclaimed loudly.
"Stunk-tunk!" Stunky muttered as he readied himself.
"Drudd?" Druddigon mumbled as he looked to the side and noticed Stunky.
"Newly caught member!" Keats said as Druddigon looked back at his trainer before facing his opponents as Adam walked over to where the fight was about to occur.
"I guess I'll ref this match. Everybody ready?" Adam said as the Cleaner and Keats nodded. "Begin!" He exclaimed as he raised his arms.
"Stunky! Use "Poison Gas!"' Keats ordered as Stunky proceeded to turn around, having his rear face Cincinno and Altaria.
"Stunk!" Stunky exclaimed as a cloud of purple gas escaped his rear and approached his opponents.
"Dodge." The Cleaner said calmly as both Cincinno and Altaria moved out of the way with Cincinno running to the side and Altaria flying up into the air.
"Stunky, stick to dealing with Cincinno! Druddigon, handle Altaria!" Keats ordered as his Pokémon nodded with his Dragon type taking flight and Stunky running on all fours at Cincinno. "Stunky, attack with "Fury Swipes!"' He exclaimed.
"Stunky!" Stunky screamed as his claws glowed white as he lunged at Cincinno.
"Cincinno, use "Baby-Doll Eyes."' The Cleaner said calmly.
"Cinnnn-cinno." Cincinno said as its eyes shifted into an adorable expression as Stunky stopped in mid jump, landing back on all fours and looking at Cincinno.
"Stu-unk!?" Stunky said with a nervous expression.
"Stunky?!" Keats exclaimed in confusion.
'"Baby-Doll Eyes" causes whoever sees them to lower their attack capabilities." Marie said, examining the battle.
"And Stunky stopped in surprise because of it." Adam said.
"Now use "Tickle."' The Cleaner said as Cincinno stopped staring at Stunky and proceeded to rush at the Poison and Dark type.
"Cincincin!" Cincinno laughed as it went behind a still stunned Stunky and proceeded to take its scarf-like fur around its neck and begun to tickle Stunky by brushing its fur around the skunk-like Pokémon's belly and armpits.
"Stunk-tunkytunk! Stunk-tunkyt!" Stunky laughed uncontrollably.
"Ugh?!" Keats mumbled in surprise.
"Altaria." The Cleaner said casually as he turned his attention upward, prompting Keats to look up at Altaria and Druddigon facing each other. "Use "Perish Song."' He said as Altaria opened its mouth.
"Alllllllll!" Altaria bellowed as a soundwave of darkly toned music emerged from its mouth, heading in Druddigon's direction.
"He better move." Adam chimed in.
"One listen and Druddigon will go down without even needing to be hit." Marie said as Keats looked at his sister before switching back to focusing on the battle.
"D-Druddigon! Dodge it!" Keats shouted.
"Drudd!" Druddigon exclaimed as it flew higher and away from the soundwave.
"Dragon types are weak to Dragon type moves so let's see if this works." Keats thought. "Druddigon, attack with "Dragon Tail!"' He exclaimed as Druddigon proceeded to fly back down towards Altaria, his tail glowing green as he prepared to swing it.
"Altaria, use "Dragon Breath."' The Cleaner said with his usual calm demeanor.
Sucking in air, Altaria's belly swelled while tilting its head backwards before breathing a torrent of green air out of its mouth. Heading directly for Druddigon, Keats' Dragon type Pokémon swung his tail against the damaging breath, causing it to split in half and dissipate.
"Nice! One more time!" Keats said as Druddigon's tail glowed green once more and headed straight for Altaria once again.
"Use "Play Rough."' The Cleaner said as Altaria flew towards Druddigon.
"Fairy type move on a Dragon type." Adam said, slightly impressed as Marie nodded.
Ducking under Druddigon's "Dragon Tail," Altaria proceeded to take its wings and begun to smack Druddigon in the face and sides repeatedly before swinging down its fluffy wings on Keats' Dragon types skull. Propelling downward from the force of the strikes, Druddigon landed on the ground with a hard thud.
"Drudd!" Druddigon exclaimed in pain from the super effective damage.
"Oh no!" Keats said in shock.
"Stunktunkstunk!" Stunky exclaimed as he continued to laugh from Cincinno tickling him, continuing to lower the skunk-like Pokémon's composure.
"Guh!" Keats grunted.
"Filthy on the outside and inexperienced on the inside." The Cleaner said in a critical tone as Keats turned his attention towards his voice.
"A bit harsh, but also true." Marie thought as she looked at her brother struggling to battle with the Cleaner.
"Never been in a double battle before, it's a lot more hectic than a regular one on one." Adam said as he scratched his chin as he watched on as Keats turned his attention towards Altaria in the air.
"That move looked like it hit Druddigon physically so those wings..." Keats thought as he looked at his opponents Dragon type. "Hey minty-breath! What's wrong with your Altaria's wings?" He said with an angry smirk as he pointed upward.
"Hmmm? Ah!" The Cleaner said as he looked up to notice some stains in his Altaria's wings. "Altaria, your wings!" He said in a shocked tone.
"Al-taria!?" Altaria exclaimed as it noticed its puffy white wings were now very smudgy and partially bruised.
"How did that happen?!" The Cleaner said in surprise.
"My Druddigon has the ability "Rough Skin."' Keats said with a smirk. "When your Altaria smacked my Pokémon around, it got its wings slightly messed up from hitting his spikes." He said as he shifted back towards Stunky and Cincinno.
"Stunktunk!" Stunky muttered, still laughing uncontrollably.
"Stunky, you're close! Fart a "Poison Gas!"' Keats exclaimed as Stunky took a moment in the midst of the tickling to release a purple gas from his butt.
"Cin-cinno!" Cincinno exclaimed in annoyance as it was enveloped in the poisonous fart cloud. "Cincin!" The chinchilla-like Pokémon coughed as purple bubbles begun to form from out of its mouth, stepping away from Stunky in the process.
"Use "Fury Swipes!"' Keats ordered as Stunky got back on all fours and rushed at Cincinno, scratching the opposing Pokémon multiple times with its glowing white claws.
"Cin! Cin! Cin!" Cincinno exclaimed in pain as it jumped backwards from Stunky.
"Cincinno! use "Focus Blast!"' The Cleaner said as his chinchilla-like Pokémon put its hands together with an orb of blue energy forming between its hands.
"Oh no you don't! Druddigon, use "Dragon Tail!" Aim for Cincinno!" Keats exclaimed as Druddigon got to his feet, jumping while using his wings for a boost in speed, and smacked Cincinno in its small chest with his glowing green tail, sending it flying a few feet into the air.
While distracted still with its wings, Altaria failed to notice Cincinno heading straight for it. Smacking into Altaria while still holding the energy from "Focus Blast," a small explosion occurred in the air with Altaria and Cincinno in the center.
"Taria!" Altaria grunted in pain as Cincinno plummeted towards the ground below, the Dragon and Flying type somehow still airborne.
"Cincin-cogu!" Cincinno exclaimed in pain as it fell onto its back, coughing out a few more bubbles of poison from its mouth before passing out into unconsciousness with swirling eyes as Marie and Adam looked on in surprise.
"Cincinno is unable to battle!" Adam declared as the Cleaner looked on with surprise.
"...Not a bad job..." Marie thought as she looked at her younger brother.
"Oh my..." The Cleaner said, attempting to remain calm as he recalled his Pokémon with a Pokéball. "This isn't ideal..." He said as he looked up at Altaria. "Altaria! Use "Earthquake!"' The Cleaner said with a serious gaze.
"Huh?!" Adam grunted in shock.
"Whoa, wait!" Marie exclaimed as she got out of her chair.
"Hold on, "Earthquake" does what again?" Keats said, confused.
"It's a Ground type move that affectzzzz everyone on the battlefield!" Rotom exclaimed.
"Oh... Wait, hold on! What?!" Keats said until he realized what Rotom meant.
Descending downward, Altaria slammed its feet against the ground and caused the ground to shake the whole backyard, causing the Pokémon that Marie and Adam were taking care of to run around in worry from the rumbling. The ground shaking sent a painful shiver throughout Druddigon and Stunkys bodies as Druddigon and Stunky fell over onto their stomachs, both of their eyes swirling to signify their unconscious states as the shaking stopped.
"...Uh..." Keats muttered as everyone got their balances back.
"Druddi-Druddigon and Stunky are unable to battle. The Cleaner wins." Adam said as he rubbed the back of his neck as Marie grabbed her head to stop the dizziness.
"Well... That seems to be it." The Cleaner said calmly as he reached into one of his pockets, pulled out a lint roller and wiped down his suit.
"Taria!" Altaria said happily as it lifted its wings in victory.
Unbeknownst to everyone however was Stunky's body proceeded to glow a yellow aura as a yellow cloud expelled from his body. Creeping over to Altaria, the Dragon and Flying type smelled a terrible odor, and its body shook in sudden pain before falling forward onto its chest, its eyes swirling into unconsciousness.
"Al-Altaria?!" The Cleaner said as he noticed Altaria passed out in front of him.
"Wha?" Keats said in surprise.
'"Aftermath?"' Marie questioned.
'"Aftermath," zzzzt." Rotom stated.
"Huh?" Keats said with a raised eyebrow.
"Pokémon with the ability "Aftermath" can cause a portion of damage to an opponent after they have been knocked out. Must have just been enough." Adam explained as he looked over at the confused Cleaner and his unconscious Altaria.
"Then..." Keats said. "It's a tie?" He said.
"...Seems that way." The Cleaner said as he recalled his Pokémon back into his ball. "And now we have a conundrum. We didn't work out an arrangement for such an outcome." He said as he put away his Pokéball into the case he took it from originally.
"Uh-huh..." Keats said as he reached behind his pocket and pulled out a pair of Revive pills, walking over to Druddigon and Stunky and cracking them over his knocked-out Pokémon, causing them to wake up.
"Hmmmm... Excuse me." The Cleaner mumbled as he looked at Keats.
"What? You going to call the stuff in my pockets a mess too?" Keats said defensively.
"Do you happen to have two more of those?" The Cleaner asked as Keats raised an eyebrow before reaching into his pocket once again and pulling out two more Revives.
"Yeah? So?" Keats replied.
"How about this? I'll clean the trailer for half like intended if you had won, if you would be so kind as to give me those two Revives for my Pokémon. I tend to work with them for the... Big jobs." The Cleaner said as he turned around towards Keats' trailer, noticing a pile of socks was in front of the entry way that suspiciously moved back inside and out of sight.
"...You know what, fine." Marie said as she looked on.
"What? No!" Keats exclaimed in protest.
"Come on Keats, you have to get going to Alola and worst-case scenario, you come back home to a nice place." Adam said.
"Uggggghhhhhh..." Keats groaned as he heard the word "Alola."
"And there's the groaning about Alola again..." Rotom thought as the phone Pokémon looked on.
"Do I seriously have to go to Alola?" Keats whined.
"If you want to get back my Sableye... Mr. "I want to rescue my stolen team."' Marie said with her arms folded.
"Damn it, fine. Rotom, get me a cheap plane ticket." Keats muttered in annoyance as he pointed at Rotom.
"On it, zzzzt." Rotom said as it checked the internet.
"And you!" Keats exclaimed as he pointed at the Cleaner. "You can clean my place and do whatever you want. Just... Leave the bathroom alone. I'll do it myself when I get back." He said with a frustrated expression to the Cleaners confusion.
"Need help packing?" Adam asked.
"No, I got it- oh dang it." Keats said as he looked down at his knees, noticing dirt on his legs as he bent forward to clean himself. "Stupid "Earthquake."' He said as he licked his hands and tried to wipe himself off.
"...What are you doing?" The Cleaner said as he looked at his strange client.
"I'm just wiping myself down with some saliva." Keats said while still bent over.
"Absolutely filthy." The Cleaner said as he walked over to Keats.
Bending backwards, the Cleaner arched his back so that Keats was able to see his face while bending down. Locking eyes, Keats felt a shiver run up his spine as the Cleaner looked up at him.
"Whatever am I going to do with you?" The Cleaner said with a critical tone as a distraught Keats was frozen in place from the creepy aura he gave off.
'"So creepy..."' Marie and Adam thought simultaneously.
One word... Dirty. The Cleaner had arrived to inspect the trailer for its level of uncleanliness and Keats' home is way beyond that. Upset over the fact that he might be forcibly removed from his home just to get it clean, and still hesitant to go to the Alola region to rescue his sisters Sableye, Keats battles the Cleaner in his first ever Double Battle. A match that ends in a tie, forcing Keats out and his house to get a discounted rate so... Good for him? Well at least he caught a new Pokémon, don't know if that's going to be the easiest catch he'll have in the whole story. And now Keats has to go to Alola, how will that go? Probably one word from Keats: "Uggghhhh." See you next time on Wannabe!

Authors Note: (This was supposed to be out in December, but God damn was the month rough for me but Happy New Year to all. I'll also bring up an element of the story I think some might be interested in learning about: Keats' bodily shape. For comparison, picture Gordie from Gen 8 aka Sword and Shield. They both have similar builds/shapes.)
