The gargoyles all awoke from their sleep and continued on the way to the castle. Jasira was amazed at when they all touched down. She had never seen the likes of this castle but now she would.

"So, what happens first?" Jasira asked.

"We must introduce you to the Xanatos' and their butler. They own our home and need to know that you're going to be living here with us." Lex explained.

"Mom claimed that Xanatos betrayed her." Jasira declared.

"At one time, he might have, but not now. But she was the one that was using him. She was able to change almost everyone in this city to stone at night." Lex explained. "And we helped him turn it around."

"Okay. But will they accept me for being here?" Jasira asked.

"I have a feeling they will. I'll make them if they say no." Brooklyn said.

"I have a feeling he'll say yes. He knows we are wanting new blood in our clan." Broadway declared.

Brooklyn had wanted new blood in the clan especially, wanting it to be more female company but this female was his own daughter. There was no way he could be with her as a love magnet. He would only be able to share a fatherly relationship with Jasira. But he hoped that one day soon he would find a mate. His mate would only be a stepmom to his daughter and that he hoped she would accept Jasira as a part of his life and love her like their own child too.

The clan went to David's office as that was where they were sure they were if not in the nursery.

"Hello, everyone. What can we do for you?" David greeted them as the whole clan came into the office. But it was surprising to see another red gargoyle among them. She and Brooklyn were the last in line.

"We have found a new clan member that we didn't know about." Goliath declared. "We were bringing her here to meet you so you would know that she's new here."

"Xanatos, Owen, this is my daughter, Jasira." Brooklyn introduced her.

"We didn't know you had a daughter, Brooklyn." Owen stated.

"I didn't either until last night, when Demona had captured us all. It turns out she had used me while I had been in her custody to end up making a child that she didn't want me to know about and try to use against us. At least we were able to change her mind about becoming one of us." Brooklyn explained.

"That's great. I've noticed how you were always restless around here, Brooklyn." David said. "Now you have your own child to depend on you, like what Goliath has with his daughter."

"Yes, that's true." Goliath agreed. "Elisa knows too. Demona had taken Elisa to her lair and used her to lure us all there too and she trapped us in soundproof rooms. It was through Jasira here that we are free along with just a certain price Brooklyn paid for our freedom again."

"We would have liked to have helped if we had known, Goliath."

"You were busy with that fund raiser." Lex stated.

"Yeah, but it's over now. Where is Detective Maza?" David asked.

"She went home during the day. She might stop by later." Angela declared.

"Well, all I can say is welcome to your clan's ancestral home, Jasira." David welcomed the young gargess.

"Uh, thank you." Jasira replied nervously.

"She isn't so used to humans." Angela also said.

"We don't try to offend or anything. We are all friends living here under the same roof." David said proudly.

"Okay." Jasira kept close to her father.

Brooklyn liked the idea of being needed by his daughter, but he knew that teen girls would also want to date other males, and the only other unavailable male here was Lexington. Maybe he would loosen the reins a bit to let his brother date Jasira when she was old enough, if it came to that, but likely, Lex would look for a mate in one of the other clans. He hoped another clan meeting was successful.

No matter whether Jasira was born from a real egg or a test tube, she was still a purebred gargoyle this time. Not a clone. She had just been aged a bit rapidly. And from Demona's upbringing, Jasira was definitely quite grumpy. But then, it wasn't too different from Brooklyn.

"Do you want a tour of the castle?" Broadway offered.

"Do I?! I'd love to." Jasira perked up at that.

"I would love to take her." Angela stated.

"I have to get breakfast started. It'll be a meal in your honor." Broadway smiled at his new niece.

"I'll help with the tour too." Lex smiled.

"Look, how about you guys take Jasira on the tour. I have something else to do. I trust you with her." Brooklyn said.

"You feel alright, lad?" Hudson asked.

"Yeah, I just need to go do something else." Brook replied.

Brooklyn just needed some time to be alone for a while. He walked away from his clan and let them give Jasira the grand tour. He would have wanted to in a very different situation, but he had just been raped again and it had opened up the wounds of the past ones.

When he got to his room, Brooklyn couldn't help but totally break down again. He had to let the pain he was feeling out right now to escape. He was used like some disposable stud. He felt dirty just from being forced to mate with Demona. Having been raped for a fourth time was going to have Brooklyn being wearier of having sex in the future. For right now, he wanted nothing to do with sex, aside from fixing his own male needs.

Brooklyn would only ever have sex again with a female that turned out to truly love him in the future. For this one night, he would let this pain go that he carried even though he would carry it for the rest of his life too. He just wanted to start working past this pain again. He now had a daughter to think about. At least having Jasira here made him feel like he had someone to love, but he still needed to get to know her more. The same with her to know him.

...

Lex and Angela took Jasira on a tour of the castle. They even showed her where the nursery was, and she got to meet Fox and Alex too. She was surprised that humans could be so small and innocent. They welcomed her into their home. Maybe someday, Jasira would find a mate of her own too when she was of age.

Broadway soon had breakfast ready, and everyone was to come to it. Brooklyn came too. He had just needed a little time before breakfast to let his pain go. He was feeling a little better now. He sat by Jasira, being her father.

Elisa had to go back to work tonight so she couldn't make it. But she would come by again soon. She also told Matt that Brooklyn now had a daughter in his life. Matt was surprised and shocked at that too.

Goliath made a toast at the table. "Jasira, I want to officially welcome you into our clan. We know that we didn't meet in the most enjoyable circumstances, but we were glad to be able to take you in and get you away from Demona. I know she's your mother and her care was all you had known, but you are better off here with us. We will do all we can to help you become the true gargoyle you are destined to become in the future. To Jasira."

"To Jasira!" The clan raised their glasses too.

Then she had something to say. "Uh, I'm flattered that you all feel this way, but I guess I'm glad too. My mom had never lied to me before. She told me you were all evil and would do anything to protect humans, and I know you do for their own safety now. I've just never known what it felt like to be part of a clan. My mom tried to be there for me as much as possible, but she was often busy too." Jasira explained. "It seemed like she barely had time for me as it was."

"Here, you will be well looked after." Brooklyn declared. "I am surprised that just twenty-four hours ago I found out about you, but I am more than happy to take over your education as your father. It'll be nice having you here and I hope we'll get along because I know that parents and kids don't always want to get along, especially when the parents are trying to help their teenagers do the right thing."

"You'll do your best, Daddy. Thank you." Jasira thanked her dad.

Lex and Broadway both said they were glad to know their niece and would still look out for her. Angela called herself Jasira's sister, as she was.

Hudson would take more the grandfatherly role. Bronx would be by his side mostly. Jasira had been shown the tv room.

"Welcome to our headquarters, Jasira." David Xanatos made his toast next. "The clan will educate you well, I know that. Then you'll be a great warrior."

"Thanks." Jasira replied. "I want to learn to make this my new home and family. With it just my mom and me, it was often lonely when she was out of the house. She didn't like me going anywhere without her."

"While there are gargoyle haters on the streets like the Quarrymen, you'll all have to be extra super careful." Goliath ordered.

"Don't worry, I will." Jasira said.
