As Oranguru held a stick with Rotom floating next to it, the orangutan-like Pokémon had drawn out a layout in the sand as it formulated a plan to assist the nearby trainers with their goal. As the Normal and Psychic type turned its head, Keats and Anik were making exhausted expressions on their faces as Keats' Raichu and Anik's Kingler were both hunched forward, tired.
"Ki... Ki... Ki..." Kingler muttered in exasperation.
"Rai... Chu..." Raichu muttered in similar tiredness as he sat on his floating tail.
"Hey, Oranguru." Anik said as she caught the wild super genius' attention. "Are we done? We've been battling for about three hours." She said as Keats looked over at the setting sun.
"And it's getting late too..." Keats said as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Urururu-rangrang." Oranguru said towards the trainers.
"Oranguru said that you guyzzzz need to get stronger and build up more endurance with your Pokémon while it thinks." Rotom said, translating for Oranguru.
"For three hours!?" Keats exclaimed with a frustrated tone.
"It'zzzz not the first-time you guys have had back and forth training, you know." Rotom replied.
"We did kill a lot of time in the woods on Route 10 the first time." Anik said as Keats turned towards her.
"All we've done is wait for the weird genius over there to think and tire out our Pokémon." Keats thought, disgruntled.
"Oranguru." Oranguru said towards Rotom.
"Oh! Oranguru zzzzaid it's done." Rotom translated as Keats and Anik looked at each other.
'"About time..."' Keats and Anik thought as they took out the balls for their Pokémon and recalled them.
"We're going to need to make a pit stop at the Pokémon Center later." Anik said.
"Yeaaahhh... I'll probably just give you my Pokémon and you can heal them for me." Keats said to Anik's confusion. "Something tells me that the Nurse Joy of Hau'oli City doesn't want to see me after the last time I was in the building..." He thought with hesitation at the thought of going to the local Pokémon Center.
"Oranguru." Oranguru said as it motioned for Keats and Anik to approach it, the pair of adult trainers sitting in the sand and forming a circle around Oranguru's drawing.
Putting the stick down, Oranguru pointed at its drawing as Anik, Keats and Rotom looked down at it. Set around a series of wave-like patterns was a structure that looked like a house with what appeared to be a single person in the house with a small creature that looked like Sableye. Surrounding the house was a series of fish-like drawings, a small humanoid drawing floating next to the house and a man holding a rod that's standing on what looked like a mound.
"Imani, Bruxish, Beheeyem and that one is Bevin, right?" Anik asked towards Oranguru as she pointed at the individual drawings.
"Uru." Oranguru said with a nod, confirming her observation.
"And this represents what exactly?" Keats said towards Oranguru.
"Oranguru-rangranguru." Oranguru said as it pointed at the individual drawings.
"Oranguru says that the houseboat is blocked by several threats. Bruxizzzzh in the water, Beheeyem in the air and Bevin on the islands. This is all assumption, by-the-way." Rotom said, translating for Oranguru.
"Thanks for stating the obvious..." Keats muttered as he propped up his arm on his leg and rested his cheek on his hand.
"I think what Oranguru is trying to say is that if we want to get Sableye, we need to remove all of the roadblocks." Anik said, interpreting for Oranguru.
"The Bruxish might not be so challenging, but Bevin and that swearing alien might be the breaking point for us." Keats said as he scratched at his beard.
"Rangrang..." Oranguru said with a nod.
"Hmmm?" Anik muttered.
"Oranguru said that that'zzzz where you need to start." Rotom translated.
"What'cha mean?" Keats asked towards the Normal and Psychic type.
"Uru." Oranguru said as it pointed at the drawing of the man with the rod, crossing it out with the stick. "Rangrang-uru." It continued as it then pointed to the images of Bruxish and then at Beheeyem, crossing them out as well.
"Ohhhh... I think I get it." Anik said as Keats looked at the astronomy enthusiast.
"Lay it on me." Keats said as Oranguru waved at him to catch his attention.
"Ururururu." Oranguru said as it took the stick and made arrows pointing in different directions.
"If we get them away from protecting Imani, all she has left to protect herself is Sableye." Anik explained towards Keats.
"The old "divide and conquer," zzzzt." Rotom said as Keats raised an eyebrow.
"Wait, that's subtraction..." Keats thought with confusion and somewhat missing the point.
"If we want to beat Imani, we need to take out the others." Anik said.
"Huuuuuh... Okay, okay." Keats said with a nod as Oranguru stood up. "Dumbass Pokémon don't know math." He thought, missing the point once more.
"Orangururu-rang?" Oranguru said towards Keats and Anik as they stood up.
"And that was?" Keats said towards Rotom.
"Oranguru izzzz asking if that's all you need from it." Rotom translated.
"Think you can be on standby?" Anik said towards Oranguru as the orangutan-like Pokémon looked at the astronomy enthusiast.
"Rangrang." Oranguru said towards Anik.
"Oranguru said it might be able to be of further assistance, zzzzt." Rotom said, translating.
"That's good to know." Anik said with a smile towards Keats.
"I'm glad we got backup... But still, did it have to be from this annoying Pokémon?" Keats thought as he looked at Oranguru.
"Rangrang." Oranguru said towards Keats.
"What?" Keats replied.
"Oranguru said we zzzzhould all go to the Pokémon Center." Rotom said as Anik nodded.
"Right." Anik said as she and Rotom followed Oranguru towards the city as Keats' eye twitched.
"Hold on." Keats said as the others stopped with him grabbing all of his filled Pokéballs and handed them to Anik. "Yeah, I'm not going to the Center, you guys go and heal up my Pokémon." He said as he turned towards the ocean.
"You're not coming with?" Anik questioned.
"Where are you going to zzzzleep?" Rotom asked.
"I'll put down a towel or something and just sleep here on the beach. I got something I want to do." Keats said as he looked around at the sand.
"Well... Alright." Anik said with a cautious tone as Oranguru raised an eyebrow.
"Rangrang?" Oranguru said towards Rotom.
"I have an idea what he might be doing but he'zzzz had zero luck with it." Rotom said towards the orangutan-like Pokémon.
"Raaaang..." Oranguru said as it rubbed its chin. "Orangururu." It said towards Anik and Rotom.
"Huh, zzzzt?" Rotom muttered in response. "Oranguru said it's going to stay with Keats during the night." The phone Pokémon said towards Anik.
"So, it's just you and me at the Center, huh?" Anik commented towards Rotom.
"Lookzzzz like it." Rotom said as Anik and Rotom headed towards the city.
"Oranguru." Oranguru said towards Keats, who proceeded to glare at the Normal and Psychic type.
"Great, an unnecessary guest has arrived..." Keats thought as he walked down the beach.
"Orangurururu." Oranguru said as Keats made an annoyed expression.
"I can't understand you so shut up..." Keats said, trying to ignore the Pokémon following behind him. "Are you here just to mock my inadequacies?" He said while avoiding looking at Oranguru.
"Uru." Oranguru said while shaking its head. "Rangurangurang." It continued as Keats stopped and turned around to look at the orangutan-like Pokémon.
"What? What do you want from me?" Keats questioned with a frustrated tone as he noticed Oranguru was still holding a stick.
With a sigh, Oranguru proceeded to write in the sand with the stick. Looking over, Keats watched as Oranguru wrote the word "Pokémon?" as he raised an eyebrow.
"...If you must know, then yes. I want to find a certain Pokémon." Keats said towards Oranguru as Oranguru proceeded to draw a question mark in the sand to question further. "A Pyukumuku." He said as Oranguru's eyes widened.
"Rangrang?" Oranguru said with confusion.
"Very first Pokémon I found in this region was this little creature with the ability to spit out its entrails and it was "flipping the bird Pokémon" at Bruxish. Coolest thing I've seen since I've been here." Keats said as he remembered his first time meeting a Pyukumuku. "Thought I found one, ends up being a Shellder that I caught. Thought I found one in the woods, ends up being a Wimpod that I might have ended up scarring for life." He said with a headshake.
"Raaaang..." Oranguru said with a contemplative tone. "Rangrang." It said as it proceeded to draw with the stick some more.
Rolling his eyes in further annoyance, Keats looked at Oranguru continuing to draw as the orangutan-like Pokémon proceeded to draw an image of a lightbulb. Confused, Keats started to look around with an odd expression on his face.
"I don't see any lamps." Keats said as Oranguru made an unimpressed face at the husky framed trainer.
"Rang-rang." Oranguru replied as it proceeded to draw the word "idea" underneath the lightbulb.
'"Idea?"' Keats questioned.
"Rangrang." Oranguru said with a nod.
Unbeknownst to the pair, however, was a set of eyes looking at them from far away. From within her houseboat out on the ocean, Imani had a set of binoculars in her hands as she watched Keats and Oranguru on the Hau'oli Beachfront, monitoring them.
"Tch..." Imani muttered with a click of her tongue. "If he was alone, then I could send over Beheeyem to finally rid me of him trying to hunt me. But that Oranguru looks strong..." She thought.
Inside of the houseboat, sitting on a table was Imani's Beheeyem as Bevin held a purple and grey spray bottle of Potion in his hands. Spritzing Beheeyem, the extraterrestrial Pokémon proceeded to sit upright as the bruises on its body started to disappear.
"Beheebehee." Beheeyem said as it rubbed its oblong head.
"There you go." Bevin said as the Psychic type floated up into the air. "Your Beheeyem is all good." He said towards Imani as she turned towards the flutist.
"It'd be much better if either of you did your damn jobs well!" Imani exclaimed in anger as she approached. "All you had to do was to get rid of a tubby guy with little to no talent at being a trainer and you both failed." She exclaimed in a viciously critical tone.
"Oh come on. I went to Akala Island and got a ton of loot. Can't you be satisfied with that?" Bevin said in a defensive tone.
"I'll be even more satisfied when I know there's no one trying to track me down for that." Imani said as she pointed at Sableye, who was sitting in a corner of the houseboat. "Beheeyem, you're going to be here to protect me. Same as Bruxish and the wild ones." She said as Beheeyem nodded, complying with its trainer's orders.
"What about me?" Bevin said with a raised eyebrow.
"Head over there to Melemele Island. End this so I can get a decent nights sleep." Imani said with a tone of malicious intent as she walked past Bevin.
"...Got it..." Bevin thought while biting his lip as he walked out of the houseboat. "So ungrateful..." He thought as Beheeyem floated outside, following behind him.
Sitting alone in the houseboat, Imani sat on the coach as she rubbed her chin in contemplation of her next step. Suddenly, she noticed a flashing light and a knocking on the window as she stood up and walked over to it.
"What was that? Bevin wouldn't have knocked on the window." Imani thought as she unlocked the window.
Upon opening the window and sticking her head out, Imani suddenly heard a buzzing noise as she looked to her side and noticed a surprising sight. Floating above the water was a bright green drone with a head that had blue eyes and a spike above the camera.
"A Rotom drone?" Imani said aloud to herself as the Rotom drone proceeded to hover to the front door of the houseboat as Imani went back inside her hiding place and then walked over to the entrance to let in the drone. "Alright, what do you want?" She thought as she looked at the Rotom drone, the smiling artificial Pokémon floating over to a nearby table.
Pointing down its camera lens, a projector function activated on the drone as Imani made a confused expression. Appearing on the table was a hologram-like visual of a young man in his late teens wearing a grey pants, grey sneakers, a long sleeve blue shirt that was covered with silver blade-like designs and, suspiciously, wearing a silver bird mask.
"What the?" Imani said, bewildered.
"Hello, Imani." The masked man said. "Or should I say, "Cousin."' The mysterious figure said as Imani's eyes widened.
"...Huell?" Imani said, recognizing the persons voice. "A holographic video call..." She thought.
"Yes, it's me." Huell said as he removed his mask. "How are you?" He continued upon revealing his face.
"...Why are you calling me?" Imani questioned with a skeptical expression.
"I guess you can say this is a courtesy call." Huell said.
'"A courtesy call?"' Imani said with confusion. "Does he think I want to talk to him or something?" She thought, wondering why her former Snagem Family member was contacting her.
"More or less." Huell said. "I'm currently in Sinnoh where I'm participating in the gym circuit. I'm on my third badge currently." He said as he looked at his mask.
"I don't really care..." Imani said with annoyance. "What's with you and Carter? Both of you think you're "tough" and have to look for a way to make use of your "presents."' She thought.
"You're probably wondering why but it's actually for something a lot different than Carter's reasons for going to the Battle Clubs." Huell said as he put on his mask. "I don't know what the other three are up to with theirs, but Carter wanted some cheap fame with his Pokémon. In your case..." He said as the masked young adult looked around at Imani's home before spotting a pile of money and Marie's Sableye in the corner. "You seem to want to line your pockets and be in hiding, just letting that Sableye sit around." Huell continued as Imani made an offended expression.
"Once enough time had passed, I'd probably find some use for my "present."' Imani said as she looked towards her stolen Sableye. "Are you calling me with your fancy projector drone Rotom just to bother me?" She said as she sat down on her couch.
"I'm calling because I received a call some time ago from Carter. I managed to track down your location with this Rotom drone navigating the waters around Alola from Carter telling me what region you're in." Huell said as Imani made a surprised expression.
"You too, huh? The little idiot called me to ask for my help when the big guy from the ranch took back one of Marie Dibiase's Pokémon." Imani said, recounting her last conversation with Carter. "If that big mouth didn't brag about wanting to go to the Unova Battle Clubs, he might not have been found." She continued. "And what's with the Skarmory mask?" Imani thought as she looked at the hologram of Huell.
"He mentioned that to me as well." Huell said. "I told him I couldn't help him. You?" He asked.
"What do you think?" Imani said.
"I'll take that as a "no."' Huell said. "Then I'll get to the main point of why I called." He said as he folded his arms.
"And I should care because?" Imani replied.
"It's not a matter of whether or not you care. What matters is that you listen to what I have to say." Huell said as Imani was taken aback by the serious tone he had. "I'm going to be sending an envelope in the next few days. The location will be the Rarest Level Ranch in Ecruteak City." He said as Imani raised an eyebrow.
"...What's that supposed to mean?" Imani replied. "The champion ladies ranch?" She thought with confusion.
"Call it a hunch but I believe in this span of time, Keaton Dibiase is already looking for you?" Huell said as Imani grew wide-eyed. "I'm just gonna say... I've become a bit curious." He said as the transmission feed cut, and the hologram of Huell disappeared.
Wide-eyed and unable to say anything, Imani just watched with a surprised expression on her face as the Rotom drone proceeded to hover out of the door of the houseboat. Following behind it, Imani walked out onto the deck of the houseboat as she made a bothered expression with a twitch in her eye.

"Haaaa..." Anik yawned as she woke up in one of the Pokémon Center's sleeping rooms, laying on the bottom bunk of a bunk bed. "First time in a while I slept in a bed... Ahhhh so good..." She thought as she put on her glasses that were on a nearby nightstand, next to Keats' Pokéballs and Rotom, who was offline until Anik tapped a button on the phone.
"Morning, zzzzt." Rotom said as it floated into the air.
"Hey." Anik said as she grabbed Keats' Pokéballs and put them in her handbag. "Wish I could change my clothes though; I've been in this outfit for days." She said as she looked at her tracksuit before grabbing her white lab coat.
"I've been meaning to azzzzk." Rotom said as Anik walked out the door of the room and into the main hall of the Pokémon Center.
"Shoot." Anik said casually.
"What did you agree to do with Keatzzzz if he helped you catch Minior?" Rotom said as Anik suddenly stopped walking, freezing in mid-walk.
"...Uhhh..." Anik said nervously, unsure of how to answer. "Well... If you must know..." She said with an embarrassed expression as the phone Pokémon just looked at her with a raised eyebrow on its screen. "He asked me out..." Anik said.
"He azzzzked for a date in exchange for helping you find Minior, zzzzt?" Rotom questioned.
"Ye-yeah..." Anik said hesitantly. "I didn't even say yes or no to it, I don't even know if he knows I didn't give him an answer." She thought.
"...Izzzz now the time for this?" Rotom asked with a bothered expression.
"Huh?" Anik muttered.
"I don't think it'zzzz a smart idea Keats is putting time aside for romance when there's still four more Pokémon he needs to find." Rotom stated as Anik just looked at the phone.
"Ye-yeah... That's true..." Anik said. "Didn't even think of that..." She pondered.
"That guy'zzzz always getting distracted." Rotom said with a critical tone.
"Uh-huh..." Anik said as she and Rotom proceeded to leave the Pokémon Center. "Any idea what he was trying to do last night?" She asked towards Rotom as they walked down the street.
"Keatzzzz? Probably searching for a Pyukumuku." Rotom said.
"Why a Pyukumuku?" Anik questioned.
"Keatzzzz saw one when he first arrived, and it interested him. It's probably the first time since I've known him that he was genuinely interested in catching a wild Pokémon." Rotom explained as it floated next to Anik as they turned a corner.
"It's not exactly the best Pokémon to catch for what he is doing though. If he's going against Mega Evolving Pokémon, he probably shouldn't be catching ones that don't know any moves that can attack." Anik commented. "Though, it's not my place to judge other's Pokémon catching choices." She thought.
"Keatzzzz is just up ahead on the be- hey!" Rotom said as it looked over at the stairwell to the beach until the phone Pokémon stopped Anik in mid-walk as they saw someone familiar walking down the stairs.
"What- ah!" Anik said until she recognized the person stepping onto the sand.
Looking down, Anik and Rotom were surprised by the sight of Bevin, his hands in his pockets and an annoyed expression on his face. Turning his head left and right, the heavily pierced scam artist walked over to where the tide was rising up to.
"Ugh... Gotta make this fast. I'm never going to be able to play my flute if I don't get rid of that guy soon." Bevin thought with a headshake.
"That'zzzz Bevin!" Rotom exclaimed.
"Shush!" Anik muttered, quieting Rotom. "He might overhear us before we can get close." She whispered as rushed down the stairwell and onto the beach.
"Snorlax, come on out." Bevin said as he pulled out his large Normal types ball, opening it and Snorlax emerging.
"Snoooorrr!" Snorlax exclaimed as it raised its small arms upward.
"Come on, we got to get rid of someone." Bevin said with a disgruntled expression.
"Hey!" Anik shouted as she approached.
"Huh?" Bevin muttered as he turned around to notice the astronomy enthusiast. "What do you want?" He said as Anik and Rotom stood several feet from him and his Snorlax, not recognizing her.
"You took my money!" Anik shouted loudly as Bevin's eyes widened. "He doesn't recognize me from a couple of days ago..." She thought, slightly relieved by that fact.
"You must have me confused for someone else." Bevin said, waving off Anik as she started to make an angry expression.
"No! I definitely know it's you! That's the Snorlax that was blocking the road in Malie City a few days ago! You made me and a bunch of others pay you to move that thing. But it was yours the whole time!" Anik shouted loudly as Bevin looked at the astronomy enthusiast with aggravation.
"Guh..." Bevin grunted. "Crap, this must be one of the people I've conned. I didn't expect anyone to actually go this far to chase after me." He thought.
"And you remember me, zzzzt?!" Rotom exclaimed in anger.
"Huh, a Rotom phone?" Bevin muttered in confusion. "Uh! Hey, you're that phone that was with that tubby guy!" He said as he recognized the artificial Pokémon. "Where is that jackass!?" Bevin exclaimed as Snorlax made a malicious expression.
"We were just about to look for him until we saw you." Anik said with a serious expression on her face as she reached into her coat and pulled out her Premier Ball.
"That tubby lummox has a friend now. Great, now I have to get rid of two people..." Bevin thought with frustration as his workload now increased.
"Bring it on! Vigoroth, come on out!" Anik exclaimed as she opened up her Premier Ball and out came her overactive sloth-like Pokémon.
"Vigoroth!" Vigoroth shouted as he landed on the sand. "Roth-roth!" He said as he locked eyes with the tall and fat blue bear-like creature.
"Snorlax, use "Thunder Punch!"' Bevin ordered as his Snorlax ran at Vigoroth, it's right fist now covered in lightning.
"Dodge! Then use "Slash!"' Anik shouted.
"Laaaax!" Snorlax exclaimed as it proceeded to swing its sparked-up fist.
"Roth!" Vigoroth muttered as he dodged to the side to avoid being hit.
Jumping into the air, Vigoroth's claw glowed white as he scratched against Snorlax's face, causing the massive Normal type Pokémon to get pushed back slightly. Now angered, Snorlax proceeded to glare at the overactive sloth-like Pokémon before stomping its left foot.
"Snoooorr!" Snorlax screamed as it echoed throughout the beach.
"Uh-oh..." Anik muttered as she, Vigoroth and Rotom noticed Snorlax's rage.
"Use "Thunder Punch!"' Bevin ordered as Snorlax rushed at Vigoroth once more.
Unprepared to respond from the sudden outburst by Snorlax, Vigoroth was struck by the "Thunder Punch." Knocked to the ground, static electricity was now surrounding Vigoroth's body as he struggled to get back to his feet.
"Vigoroth izzzz paralyzed!" Rotom said as Anik looked on in shock.
"Roth!" Vigoroth muttered in pain as Snorlax loomed over it.
'"Shadow Ball" isn't going to work on a Normal type like Vigoroth." Bevin thought as he pondered his next move. "Use "Thunder Punch!" One more time!" He ordered as Snorlax proceeded to raise its right arm overhead, covered in electricity once more.
"Vigoroth! Use "Endure!"' Anik ordered towards her still down Vigoroth.
Glowing for a brief moment, Vigoroth attempted to use a move that would prevent him from getting hurt. However, the shielding aura disappeared from his body as the static around his body shocked him into a paralyzed state as Vigoroth was punching in the sternum by Snorlax once again.
"Vigooooorrr!" Vigoroth screamed in pain.
"Ah!" Anik grunted in surprise as Vigoroth was clutching at his side.
"Hahahaha!" Bevin laughed maliciously. "Doesn't look like I have much to worry about!" He continued.
"Guh!" Anik muttered in frustration. '"Slash" didn't do much damage and I can't use "Shadow Claw." What else can my Vigoroth do? There's "Endure" and- oh! "Counter!"' She thought until she realized one of the moves her Vigoroth could do.
"One more outta do it! "Thunder Punch!"' Bevin ordered once again.
"Snorlax!" Snorlax screamed as it sparked up its fist for a fourth time.
'"Counter!"' Anik exclaimed as Vigoroth looked up at Snorlax.
Striking its fist into Vigoroth's side again, the overactive sloth-Pokémon grunted in pain as a red aura appeared around its body. Lifting up his right claw, Vigoroth managed to jab Snorlax in its massive belly, sending back double the damage of Snorlax's "Thunder Punch" at it.
"Snorsnor!" Snorlax screamed in immense pain as it clutched at its massive belly from the pain of the "Counter" attack.
"Vigoooor-oth..." Vigoroth muttered before passing out from the pain, his eyes swirling to signify his unconsciousness.
"Grrr... Return." Anik growled in frustration as she recalled Vigoroth into his Premier Ball. "You did good..." She thought as she looked at her ball before taking out one of her Pokéballs. "Oricorio, come on out!" Anik said as she opened her ball and out came her Fire and Flying type Pokémon.
"Oricoooorio!" Oricorio said as she stood in the sand.
"Be careful Anik, zzzzt." Rotom said towards the astronomy enthusiast.
"Don't worry. I already did a good chunk of damage against Snorlax thanks to Vigoroth." Anik said as Bevin just smirked.
"Oh, you think so?" Bevin said as he caught Anik's attention. "Snorlax, use "Rest!"' He ordered as Snorlax proceeded to sit down.
Glowing with a pink and white, Snorlax fell asleep where it sat, its injuries and bruises disappearing from its body. Upon seeing this, Anik and Rotom looked on in surprise as Bevin grinned.
"That Snorlax knows "Rest?!"' Anik exclaimed. "Most of that strike from "Counter" is gone now!" She thought, distraught.
"And it knowzzzz "Sleep Talk!"' Rotom said towards Anik as she made a shocked expression.
"Oh, thanks for the reminder. Use "Sleep Talk!"' Bevin said in a mocking tone before giving a command to his sleeping Normal type Pokémon as a blue aura appeared around its body.
"Snooooorrr..." Snorlax said in its sleep as it put its two hands together and a black orb formed, preparing a "Shadow Ball" attack.
"Dodge it!" Anik shouted towards Oricorio as she proceeded to flap her wings and went into the air as Snorlax threw the "Shadow Ball" at her.
"Orrrii!" Oricorio said as she dodged the Ghost type attack.
"Use "Air Cutter!"' Anik ordered as Oricorio's wings started to glow with a blue tint.
"Oricorio!" Oricorio exclaimed as a series of buzzsaw blades made of wind proceeded to hit Snorlax in its sleep.
"Snooor..." Snorlax muttered from the hits but still asleep.
"One more time! "Air Cutter!"' Anik ordered as her Fire and Flying type readied another attack.
'"Sleep Talk!"' Bevin shouted as Snorlax glowed with a blue aura once again.
With Oricorio's wings glowing with a blue tint, she fired off more buzzsaw blades made of wind at Snorlax. However, Snorlax countered the attack by lifting its right hand and sparked up electricity for a "Thunder Punch," striking the "Air Cutter" blades in its sleep.
"Even in its sleep, Snorlax izzzz a challenge." Rotom said as it looked on at the battle.
"We need more power... Oricorio, use "Calm Mind!"' Anik ordered towards her airborne Oricorio.
"Ori!" Oricorio said as her body started to glow, the aura raising the capabilities of her special attack and special defense.
"Just gotta manage to get "Thunder Punch" again. Snorlax! "Sleep Talk!"' Bevin exclaimed as Snorlax glowed blue a third time.
"Snoooor..." Snorlax said in its still slumbering state as it put its hands together and charged up "Shadow Ball" once again before throwing it into the air.
"Oricorio, use "Revelation Dance!"' Anik ordered as Oricorio ducked out of the way of the Ghost type attack, landing on the ground.
Proceeding to place her wings into the air in the style of a flamenco dancer, Oricorio begun to charge up with burning flames surrounding her body. Twisting and twirling, the Fire and Flying type Pokémon proceeded to stop and pointed her wings in the direction of Snorlax as balls of fire was now headed in its direction.
'"Revelation Dance" is the signature move of Oricorio. It changes the typing of the damage based on the style of the Oricorio." Rotom thought as it watched Oricorio's attack connect with Snorlax, the massive Normal type Pokémon bombarded by the fireballs.
"Laaaax... Snorlax-lax!" Snorlax said in its sleep before standing up, signaling that it's now awake.
"It'zzzz awake!" Rotom exclaimed.
"Yeah, I know!" Anik shouted in response.
"Good! This will make things easier! Snorlax, use "Thunder Punch!"' Bevin ordered as Snorlax's fist sparked up with electricity once again.
"Oricorio! Use "Revelation Dance!"' Anik ordered as Oricorio proceeded to dance again as she charged up fire around herself.
Running at Oricorio, Snorlax cocked back its fist for another "Thunder Punch" attack against the Fire and Flying type. Finishing up her dance, Oricorio proceeded to point her "Revelation Dance" fire at the oncoming Normal type Pokémon as the two attacks collided, a smoke cloud forming as Anik and Bevin put their arms up to shield themselves from the blast.
"Come on, come on..." Bevin thought as the smoke covered over him.
"I can't see anything!" Anik thought as the dust started to dissipate.
As it settled, Anik and Bevin looked on as Snorlax and Oricorio were still standing after their attacks collided with one another. Suddenly, Oricorio winced in pain before falling over onto her side, passing out as her eyes swirled.
"Ori... Cor..." Oricorio said as she faded into unconsciousness.
"Ah!" Anik grunted in shock as she and Rotom looked at Oricorio.
"Haha! I told you!" Bevin said as he looked at Anik, a wide smile of self-satisfaction on his face. "None of your Pokemon are good enough to- uh!" He continued until he suddenly looked at his Snorlax.
"Laaaaaax..." Snorlax said as it fell over towards onto its chest, its eyes swirling to symbolize its unconsciousness just like Oricorio.
"A double knockout, zzzzt!" Rotom exclaimed.
"What the?!" Bevin shouted in shock.
"Re-return!" Anik said as she took out Oricorio's ball, recalling her back into it. "I'm taking it as a personal victory though... At least I got rid of that Snorlax..." She said as Rotom looked at Anik.
"He has other Pokémon though." Rotom thought as the floating phone Pokémon looked at Bevin, the flutist taking out Snorlax's ball and recalling it.
"I have to get rid of all of his Pokémon on hand." Anik thought as she locked eyes with Bevin, him now glaring angrily at her.
"Torterra! Turtonator! Come on out!" Bevin screamed as he took out two Pokéballs at once, opening them up to reveal his large turtle-like Pokémon.
"Terrraaa!" Torterra shouted.
"Natoooorrrr!" Turtonator screamed as Anik and Rotom looked in shock.
"Both at once, zzzzt?!" Rotom exclaimed.
"Oh no... Not counting Cleffa, I don't think Kingler and Minior are going to be enough for these two!" Anik thought with hesitation as she pulled out one of her Pokéballs.
"This isn't going to be a battle; it's going to be a bloodbath!" Bevin thought with malicious intent. "Turtonator, use "Stomping Tantrum!"' He ordered as Turtonator proceeded to start to stomp its feet in quick succession.
"Turto! Nator! Turto! Nator... Turtonator!" Turtonator said as it stomped its feet until suddenly jumping in the air and then slamming its feet into the sand.
"Look out, zzzzt!" Rotom exclaimed as Anik's eyes widened.
As Turtonator stomped both feet at once, a myriad of stones that were deep in the sand appeared and were now hurling towards Anik and Rotom. In response to the oncoming attack, Anik and Rotom ducked down to dodge the rocks as they went past them and embedded in the ground.
"That could've killed me- guh!" Anik said as she looked back before noticing loud steps approaching her.
"That was the point..." Bevin said as Anik and Rotom looked up, locking eyes with Bevin's Torterra.
"Terrraaa..." Torterra muttered as it looked down at the duo, the astronomy enthusiast swallowing spit from fear.
"Now Torterra, use "Earth-" blurgh!" Bevin shouted, ordering a move until the flutist was cut off by the feeling of something hitting him in the head. "Gah! Grugh!" He screamed in pain as he clutched at his forehead as he fell onto his butt, his Pokémon turning around to look at their trainer.
"Huh?" Anik muttered in surprise as Rotom floated up to get a better look.
Looking at Bevin scrambling at the floor as he looked at his head to see if he was bleeding, Rotom glanced downward to notice what had hit Bevin. On the ground was a limited-edition sneaker that was filled to the brink with concrete with Rotom's eyes widening in surprise.
"Ke-Keatzzzz!" Rotom said as the phone Pokémon looked to the right as Anik turned her head as well as Keats had appeared.
"Oh yeah! Two for two on the shoe pitch!" Keats shouted, gloating about hitting Bevin in the head with the shoe for a second time as Anik quickly stood up.
"What the hell is wrong with you!?" Bevin said as he was still down on the ground, looking up at Keats while still having his hand on his forehead.
"Oh shut up, you damn- whoa!" Keats said until turning his head to notice Bevin's Torterra was shooting off a series of bladed leaves in his direction and jumping backwards in response.
"Keats! Over here!" Anik exclaimed as she motioned for Keats to come over to her side.
"Go-got it!" Keats shouted as he picked up the concrete sneaker, put it back in his bags and ran over to his companion.
"Here, we have your Pokémon, zzzzt." Rotom said as Anik handed Keats his Pokéballs.
"What were you doing here all night?" Anik asked quickly.
"I'll tell you later." Keats said before turning towards Bevin's Turtonator and Torterra.
"You stupid... Ugh..." Bevin said as he stood up, grabbing his forehead again before glaring at Keats and Anik. "I'm going to end you both!" He screamed as his two massive turtle-like Pokémon stood ready to fight as Anik and Keats pulled out balls for battle.
How much do you think Rotom drones' cost in comparison to Rotom phones? I imaging they probably cost an arm and a leg worse than a Rotom in a phone. Also, a Skarmory mask? Please... Get a Hisuian era Zoroark mask like a real mask, you twat. Aw whatever. After training until the sun went down some more, Keats and Anik parted ways so the astronomy enthusiast could get some rest and heal up their Pokémon as Keats spent some time with Oranguru, much to the husky trainer's chagrin. The next morning, Anik and Rotom headed back to the beach and encountered Bevin, the roadblock scammer that's working for Imani Snagem. Defeating Bevin's Snorlax, Anik has lost two of the five Pokémon she has but now Keats and his ultimate weapon, a shoe with concrete in it, have arrived to save the day. Now its Bevin's Torterra and Turtonator vs Keats and Anik. Will they survive the battle? And what is the deal with that Huell guy? Only time will tell. See you next time on "Wannabe!"
