xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Rarest Level Ranch, 10:00 a.m. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Away from the ranch and deep within the woods was Keats, dressed in a white T-shirt with stains on it, black track pants with white lines down the side and white sneakers. Floating next to Keats' Porygon was Rotom, who was currently in video capture mode as Keats, Druddigon and Timburr were altogether holding a long metal pipe.
"The white balancing is finished and the recording izzzz ready." Rotom said.
"Alright, everyone ready?" Keats said as he held the metal pipe in-between Druddigon and Timburr, the latter holding it over his head due to the height difference.
"Drudd." Druddigon said with a nod.
"Timb-timb!" Timburr said with his hands held high and his log on the ground.
"Raichu, ready?" Keats said in the direction of his Alolan form Raichu, who was floating on his tail a few feet away as Keats' other Pokémon looked on from nearby.
"Rai-raichu!" Raichu said with a face of determination.
"Alright Rotom, zoom in on me." Keats said towards the floating phone Pokémon as it followed his request. "Hello world! This is the "Raichu Railgrind!"' He said as Rotom panned over to Raichu.
"Raichu-chu!" Raichu said with a wave of his tiny right paw.
Lowering himself closer to the ground, Raichu proceeded to kick his left leg back multiple times as if to increase speed like that of a skateboarder. Jumping upward as he got close, Raichu landed on the metal pipe as he grinded along it as his electrical energy charged up a current that sent shocks through Keats', Druddigon's and Timburr's hands.
"Hiyaaahh!" Keats shouted in sudden pain.
"Drruuudd!" Druddigon exclaimed.
"Timmmb!" Timburr screamed as they all dropped the metal pipe before Raichu could finish his skating trick.
"Raiaiai!" Raichu said as the lack of people holding up his rail pipe caused the Electric and Psychic type mouse-like Pokémon to slip and tumble onto the ground. "Chu!" He grunted as he landed with a thud.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Keats said as he shook his hands to try and shake off the sting as Timburr and Druddigon did the same.
"And uploaded, zzzzt." Rotom said with a calm voice as Keats looked over at Rotom.
"What the- really?!" Keats questioned with a loud and angry tone. "Why the heck did you upload that to my PokéCast account?!" He continued.
"You told me to juzzzzt post the raw footage. You said what gets the most views are the "most candid" content." Rotom said as Porygon looked at the floating phone Pokémon as Pineco, Sizzlipede, Venonat and Stunky approached Keats to check on their trainer.
"Ow..." Keats said as he rubbed his hands on his pants.
"Stunktunk?" Stunky said towards Keats as he looked at the purple skunk-like Pokémon.
"Nah, I'm good. I'm good." Keats said as he looked over at Druddigon and Timburr. "How about you guys?" He asked towards his Dragon type and Fighting type Pokémon, respectively.
"Tiiiimb..." Timburr muttered in annoyance as he shook off the electrified sensation on his hands.
"Druuudd..." Druddigon muttered in similar frustration as Raichu sat up.
"Raaiii..." Raichu said while rubbing the back of his head. "Chuchuchu?" He said towards Keats as the husky framed trainer looked over at the round mouse-like creature.
"Think he's asking about the numbers." Keats said towards Rotom.
"The video we juzzzzt posted has zero views." Rotom replied as it showed Keats' video sharing site account.
"Raaai!?" Raichu exclaimed as he jumped onto his tail and floated back into the air, floating over to Rotom.
"Thezzzze things take time, be patient. We've only posted two videos on Keats' channel." Rotom said. "Granted... The other video might draw more attention for the sheer idiocy..." The phone Pokémon said as Keats made a smug expression as Swalot shuffled over to Keats' side, also smirking.
Opening up a video file, Rotom proceeded to show a video of Keats sitting at a picnic table with a nearby garbage can. Next to him was Raichu, floating on his tail, and Swalot, the sludgy mass-like Pokémon looking at what was on the table with interest.
"Hello world! This is the "Ultimate Dairy Contest!" Winner is the one who drinks the most without dying from vomiting!" Keats said on the screen with a chipper tone as he presented a pile of different types of drinkable dairy products that was on the table as he handed a carton of Miltank milk to Swalot and Raichu used "Psychic" to telekinetically lift up a glass container of eggnog.
"Swalot!" Swalot said as he was ready to drink.
"Raichu!" Raichu said as he telekinetically swung around the glass bottle, some of the eggnog spilling out onto the table.
"Hey! Don't get your eggnog in my Gogoat milk!" Keats said in a bothered tone as he covered the plastic jug he was going to drink. "Alright... One! Two-" He said until Rotom paused the video.
"We filmed thizzzz one hour ago and it already has one hundred views." Rotom said as Keats raised an eyebrow and Raichu's jaw dropped in shock. "And the video was three straight minutes of these three just drinking milk until puking out four pounds worth into the garbage can." The phone Pokémon thought.
"Raichu-raichu!" Raichu exclaimed, complaining about the lack of interest in his skateboarding and more in him drinking dairy as Keats approached.
"To be fair, the tricks would probably be easier to do if we went to an actual zzzzkatepark." Rotom commented as Raichu looked at Keats.
"Sadly, there's no skatepark in Ecruteak City. Last time I saw one, it was in Bloomingvale when I crashed that wedding." Keats said as he scratched the back of his neck. "What happened was I-" He continued until Rotom spoke up to cut him off.
"I don't want to know, zzzzt..." Rotom said with an exasperated tone. "One can only take so much absurdity..." The phone Pokémon thought as Keats shrugged. "And the video before that from a day ago is already at the same number of views as the milk drinking contest." Rotom continued.
"Ahhh yes, the "Wood Fetcher" trick." Keats said with a smile and crossed arms.
"All you did wazzzz ask Timburr to throw his log into the air and you tried to catch it with your mouth." Rotom said, unimpressed.
"Because no one could think I could do it!" Keats replied as Timburr nodded with a smile.
"But you didn't catch it, it just hit you in the skull and we had to stop recording to check if you were okay..." Rotom thought with a digitized eye twitch on its screen.
"Rairaichu..." Raichu said with an upset tone as he descended towards the ground with Pineco, Stunky, Sizzlipede and Venonat approaching to comfort him.
"Odds are slim of getting that energy drink sponsorship anytime soon." Keats said as he walked over with Porygon floating next to him, petting the polygonal Pokémon.
"Poooor." Porygon muttered as Rotom looked around at the trees and then the sky.
"Something wrong?" Keats said as he noticed Rotom.
"I'm starting to get a little paranoid about that Honchkrow from a few nightzzzz ago." Rotom said. "The possibility of it coming back to try and get the other Evolution Stones." The phone Pokémon continued.
"That's wishful thinking..." Keats said while biting his lip. "Why would it come back for the others though?" He questioned.
"There were four other Dusk Zzzztonezzzz in your bag when that one evolved. And Honchkrows, like Murkrows, like shiny objects. It might consider that bag of stones a "treasure chest" and come for it." Rotom explained.
"If it wants it, it can have it. I don't have any Pokémon that evolve via stone." Keats said.
"Raichu?" Raichu said as he looked over at Keats.
"I mean a Pokémon that can still evolve with an Evolution Stone." Keats said, clarifying. "The damn PokéMart certainly didn't see the value in twenty-seven- err... twenty-six stones." He thought.
"Druddigon-drudddrudd!" Druddigon said as Keats turned his head towards the Dragon type.
"Druddigon says if Honchkrow appears, he'll blazzzzt it out of the sky." Rotom translated.
"...Kinda hard to "blast it out of the sky" when you haven't had a great track record of long-range attacks hitting targets." Keats said with an unimpressed tone as Druddigon held his head in shame as he fell to his knees. "Could you please stop doing that...?" He said as he looked at his Druddigon and his shattered fragile ego as he started to dig into the ground.
"Sizzlipede?" Sizzlipede said with a raised eyebrow as she looked at Venonat.
"Natnat." Venonat replied as she waved her tiny hand as Keats looked over at the pair of fellow Bug types conversing.
"Nice to see those two get along." Keats said with a casual tone as Porygon and Rotom floated next to him.
"Indeed, zzzzt." Rotom said with a smile on its screen. "But Druddigon does have a point, you should spend more time training your Pokémon by battling and not just hanging out with them so Druddigon could manage to hit a target." The phone Pokémon said towards Keats as he scratched at his beard.
"Easier said than done without someone else here to help me practice moves, and I know very little people who would be willing to help with that..." Keats said in response. "Marie and Adam are too busy, even with their own Pokémon in their possession." He continued.
"Maybe azzzzk around town?" Rotom questioned.
"...Do you forget where we live?" Keats said, treating Rotom's idea as if it was a dumb suggestion. "A good amount of the town doesn't like me so I'm highly doubtful I'm going to find someone willing to have a "friendly spar" like I did back in Alola with... You know who." He continued until he brought up a certain female friend of his.
"...You've been ignoring her textzzzz..." Rotom said.
"...I embarrassed myself enough in front of her, okay? I don't feel like making things anymore awkward between us by starting the kinds of conversations I could start." Keats replied.
"You two had a chat if whether Dugtrios and Dodrios having a conversation counted as one single conversation or three individual conversations..." Rotom thought, remembering an event from Alola.
"Besides, she's in Alola, I'm in Johto. I'm doubtful I'm ever going to see her again, knowing my track record with people." Keats said as all of his Pokémon companions looked at him as Rotom suddenly buzzed and an icon for a text message appeared.
"It'zzzz from Marie." Rotom said.
"Oh, what's up?" Keats said.
"Zzzzhe said that she wants you to come back to check on Dragalge." Rotom said as Keats reached into his pockets and started to recall all of his Pokémon back into their respective balls.
"Didn't want to take Dragalge and Cloyster too far from the pond." Keats thought as he walked through the woods back towards the ranch.
On the opposite side of the fence meant to keep the Pokémon in, Keats proceeded to climb over it to get into the backyard. Passing by his trailer, Keats and Rotom headed straight for the pond that was used for the aquatic Pokémon that Marie and Adam would take care of as Keats' Cloyster turned and locked eyes with her trainer.
"Cloycloy." Cloyster said with a welcoming tone.
"Hey Cloyster, how goes it?" Keats asked.
"Sterster-cloys." Cloyster said as she shifted her black pearl-like head downward towards the bottom of the pond as Rotom looked at Keats.
"Okay, give me a second." Keats said as he rolled up his pant legs and sat down while sticking his legs and feet in the water. "Hey, Dragalge!" He said loudly as he looked in the direction of the mock seaweed that was at the bottom of the pond.
Within the mock seaweed, Keats, Cloyster and Rotom noticed slow stirring as the poisonous sea dragon-like Pokémon emerged from it. Looking upward, Dragalge swam in the direction of the top of the lake, emerging and locking eyes with his trainer while being a few feet away from everyone.
"Yo." Keats said with a casual tone as Dragalge looked at Keats.
"Draga..." Dragalge said.
"...He doesn't seem so good..." Keats thought as he looked at his Poison and Dragon type Pokémon. "Cloyster, something happen?" He asked towards his bivalve mollusk-like Pokémon.
"Sterster-cloycloy. Cloyster cloyster-sterstercloy." Cloyster said towards Keats as he turned to look at Rotom.
"Cloyster said zzzzhe was playing with a Chinchou and a Lumineon that Marie and Adam were looking after. When they saw Dragalge at the bottom of the pond, the Lumineon and Chinchou went down to talk to him and flashed the bright lights they can generate in his face." Rotom translated.
"Cloyster-cloy." Cloyster said further.
"When Dragalge tried to wave them off with his finzzzz, they became offended and shot Dragalge with "Water Gun."' Rotom translated further as Keats shifted his eyes around at the pond. "He probably wasn't too hurt by the Water type attack, more from the fact that he was bothered by unfamiliar Pokémon." The phone Pokemon thought as it looked over at Dragalge.
"Looks like Marie and Adam must have put the Chinchou and the Lumineon back in their balls. I don't see them in the pond." Keats said as he looked around before shifting his attention back towards Dragalge. "Here, let me get Pineco out. Dragalge likes her." He said as he took out Pineco's Pokéball and called her out.
"Pineco!" Pineco said as the bagworm-like Pokémon appeared next to him. "Coco?" She said towards Keats as Dragalge looked over at Pineco and Keats.
"I could use your help with Dragalge. He's feeling a bit down." Keats said as Pineco nodded and locked eyes with one of her fellow Pokémon. "Dragalge, come on over." He said as he motioned for the sea dragon-like Pokémon to approach him.
"...Draga..." Dragalge said as he floated in the water, looking down as Cloyster looked at him with worried eyes.
"Cloyster..." Cloyster said.
"Pineco! Pineco!" Pineco said, trying to get Dragalge to approach as well.
"Draga-draga." Dragalge said with a headshake, refusing.
"Come on." Keats said in response. "I know you don't like strangers messing with you but we're just trying to help you." He continued.
"Dragalge..." Dragalge said.
"What?" Keats said as he looked at Rotom.
"Dragalge zzzzaid he just wants to be alone." Rotom said with a worried tone as Cloyster and Pineco looked at Keats, the husky framed trainer biting his lip as he tried to think of what to do.
"Okay, a quick think..." Keats thought as he put left hand over his face. "Hey." He said as Dragalge looked at him. "You wanna hang in your ball with me and Pineco? You could get some solitude and you're not going to be bothered by "randos."' Keats said, trying to persuade Dragalge.
"...Alge..." Dragalge said as Keats raised an eyebrow.
"Draglage zzzzaid sure." Rotom said with a relieved tone as Pineco and Cloyster looked at Keats as he dug out Dragalge's Pokéball from his pocket.
"Return." Keats said as Dragalge digitized into his ball. "I gotta figure out some way to spend time with you so you can open up... I don't want another Diglett situation where you just want to leave..." He thought as he looked at the ball containing his Poison and Dragon type Pokémon.
"Cloyster!" Cloyster said as Keats looked down at her.
"Pineco! Pineco!" Pineco said with a happy expression as she hopped up and down.
"You too, huh?" Keats said as he put away Dragalge's ball and then recalled Cloyster into her ball. "Come on Pineco, join me in the "crap shack."' He said as he pointed at his trailer.
"Pineco-co." Pineco said with a nod as Keats stood up.
"Alrig- oh damn it!" Keats said as he looked down and noticed he forgot to take off his shoes before sticking his feet in the pond. "Great! Now my feet are wet!" He complained as he reached down and took off his shoes.
"...Only you can manage to forget you had shoes on before sticking your feet in the water, zzzzt." Rotom said with an exasperated tone as Keats started to wring his socks.
"Don't judge me! It's a simple mistake that anyone could make!" Keats exclaimed in response. "Let's just go inside..." He said with embarrassment as he walked over to his trailer with Pineco and Rotom following behind him as he walked inside of his small mobile home.
As Pineco jumped up onto Keats' dinner table, Keats walked over to his microwave and proceeded to put his shoes in the machine to heat them up. Placing them in the center, he closed the door and pressed a button that started a two-minute heating cycle to dry his shoes.
"Uhhh... Are you zzzzure you want to put your shoes in the microwave to dry them?" Rotom questioned, concerned for the potentiality of Keats' shoes surviving the cycle.
"Of course. It's much faster than me putting them in the oven and waiting." Keats replied.
"...Uh-huh... Zzzzt." Rotom said with an unconvinced tone. "Those shoes are going to be destroyed..." The phone Pokémon thought as it watched Keats' sneakers spin around slowly in the microwave.
"Now my socks, on the other hand... These are going where I put my mugs to dry off." Keats said as he looked at Rotom as he opened one of the cabinet doors.
As Keats was still looking at Rotom, the husky framed trainer failed to notice a suspicious entity inside his drinkware cabinet. As he put down the socks, a golden keyring that mysteriously had a face and was holding several dozens of various keys looked at Keats and Rotom as Keats closed the cabinet on it.
"Ki?" The mysterious golden keyring muttered from inside the cabinet as it looked at Keats' wet socks.
"Coco-pine?" Pineco said from the kitchen table as Keats turned towards Rotom.
"She asked for why you wanted to talk to her, zzzzt." Rotom translated.
"I was fishing for ideas." Keats said casually towards his Bug type Pokémon. "We're very strapped for cash and we need to figure out how to get to Sinnoh so... Shoot." He said towards Pineco as she just made a confused face in response.
"Pineco?" Pineco said in an unsure tone. "Cococo-pinepine." She said as Keats looked at Rotom once more.
"She doezzzzn't have a clue of what to do." Rotom said. "Of course, figuring out what to do is on you though." The phone Pokémon continued as Keats walked over to his couch.
"Yeah, yeah..." Keats said as he plopped onto his couch. "But I ain't got a clue of how we're going to get enough cash for a plane ticket to Sinnoh in the immediate future." He said as he laid back.
"I'm going to look around online, zzzzt." Rotom said as it surfed the internet.
"For what?" Keats said as he and Pineco looked at the floating phone Pokémon.
"Tournamentzzzz. Ones with monetary prizes that you could enter." Rotom said as various web pages opened up on its screen. "Hmmmm... Nothing in the nearby area..." It said as its face returned.
"I could've told you that..." Keats said with a skeptical expression. "Not feeling up to a tournament either with how my recent string of battles have been..." He thought.
"We have to figure out zzzzome way to make enough to get to Sinnoh to chase after the next Snagem member." Rotom said.
"Thanks for stating the obvious..." Keats said with half-closed eyes.
"At leazzzzt I'm looking..." Rotom said with a critical tone.
"We don't even know the name of the Snagem member or which one of my sister's Pokémon they have." Keats said as he folded his arms as Pineco hopped off the table and over to Keats.
"This time, we have to make sure we have Pokémon equipped to battle the Mega Evolved Pokémon, zzzzt." Rotom said as Keats locked eyes with the floating phone Pokémon.
"Yup..." Keats said as he scratched the back of his neck. "Didn't have a Flying type for Mega Lopunny... Didn't have a Fairy type for Mega Sableye." He said with a headshake.
"For now, we- huh?" Rotom said until the phone Pokémon stopped talking upon hearing a knocking on the door.
Getting up, Keats walked over to the door to his trailer and opened it slightly. On the other side of the door was Adam with his recently captured Charcadet next to him.
"What I do now?" Keats said, expecting the worst.
"Char-char!" Charcadet said as it jumped up and down.
"Hey, Marie wants you to see this." Adam said as he and Charcadet turned around walked over to an open patch of grass in the backyard.
"Uhhh..." Keats muttered in confusion as Rotom and Pineco followed him over to where Adam and Charcadet were.
"Something must have happe- uh..." Rotom thought before turning around and noticing the microwave cycle had ended and the phone Pokémon looked at Keats' now discolored and disfigured sneakers that didn't survive the heating process. "More money to spend now on just getting new shoes..." It thought with an exasperated expression on its screen as it floated out of the trailer to catch up to Keats and Adam.
Unbeknownst to everyone, however, was the mysterious golden keyring that was in the drinkware cabinet had emerged and floated over to the destroyed sneakers. Looking at it for a brief moment, the floating gold keyring had separated its circular loop and used its arm-like appendages to grab the sneakers, taking them with it into the drinkware cabinet and shutting the door as a bright light briefly appeared from inside the cabinet before fading.
"What's up?" Keats asked towards his brother-in-law outside.
"I just checked the mail and we got this." Adam said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a letter that had a peculiar symbol on it. "Considering how odd this looks, this seems up your alley." He said as Keats raised an eyebrow.
Grabbing it from his hand, Keats looked at the letter with visible confusion on his face as he looked at the stamp on the letter in the shape of the head of a silver bird-like creature. Raising an eyebrow and then looking at Adam, who shrugged, Keats opened up the letter and pulled out a sheet of paper with a large series of paragraphs handwritten on it.
'"To the man who has been causing grief for my former compadres, I send this letter as not a form of apology but as a form of confrontation. On wings of silver, I arose from the dissolution of the Orre region crime group, the Snagem Family, and have been reborn as a being driven by a desire for competition and strength. My ferocity is born in silver, my heart pumps with silver, my soul is a whetstone that is-"' Keats thought as he and Adam grew increasingly bewildered by the contents of the letter.
"Just to be sure, are you getting any of this?" Adam asked towards Keats.
"I have zero clue what the hell I am reading..." Keats said, bluntly.
'"My soul is a whetstone that is used to sharpen the blades of steel that are my wings, and my Pokémon are the feathers that keep these wings afloat." Is the person who wrote this suffering from a flesh-eating disease that's gotten to their brain?" Adam thought as he was growing more and more confused.
"And with my Pokémon, aided by the time spent with that of your kinfolk's, the strength I've obtained has given me the state of mind necessary to hone my skills against the very best of the region of Sinnoh. If you wish to find me and search for your own wings, I am sending you this letter of challenge to try and chase after me along the path of champions." Keats thought as he continued to the read the letter to himself. "Signed... "Birdclaw?"' He said aloud as he and Adam looked at each other.
"Who the heck is "Birdclaw?"' Adam questioned.
"Someone who probably needed to be hit in the head some more in gym class..." Keats said as he looked over the message. "Oh hey, there's a P.S." He said as he noticed an extra note at the bottom of the paper. '"In case you fail to understand my words or fail to know who I am, I've enclosed a present to assist with your recognition."' Keats continued as he turned towards Adam.
"This "present" this weirdo sent us is a Pokéball." Adam said as Rotom floated over.
"What'zzzz in it?" Rotom questioned.
"Marie is scanning it right now on the computer. Told me to get you and wait out here while we wait for- oh, here she comes." Adam said as he looked over at the house as Marie walked outside with a serious look in her eyes.
"You're not going to believe this." Marie said in a loud voice as Keats and Adam looked at one another.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Ecruteak City, 10:48 a.m. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
On the other side of town, a bus begins to pull over and halts as the driver opens the door to let people off.
"Ecruteak City. Home of one of the gyms of the Johto League, the Burned Tower, the Bell Tower and the legendary Kimono Girls, if that meets your fancy." The bus driver said as two individuals stood up.
One was a young man in his late teens that was sporting gray hair with a spiky hairstyle that had a small tuft of hair tied back behind his head and wearing a dark purple jacket with black pants, a black shirt that had an acronym that read "L.T.P.S." on it and dark purple sneakers. Next to him was a female child with straight long brown hair tied back behind her head who was wearing a red hat, a red zipped up coat, black leggings, red boots and sporting black sunglasses. In her right hand was a long cane that had a loop around the handle that was predominantly white with a red tip.
"Looks like we're here." The young adult said to the little girl as he picked up a pair of black duffel bags with multiple pockets off the floor.
"I can tell. The driver said so." The little girl replied as she grabbed a backpack and held it over her shoulder.
"Alright, you don't have to answer me with snark, okay?" The young man said while rolling his eyes as they walked off the bus, the little girl tracing her cane along the ground in front of her.
"Have a nice day." The bus driver said as he closed the door to the bus and prepared to continue on their route.
"Are you feeling anything, Tamara?" The young man said to the little girl as she held her cane with both hands before shifting her head.
"Ambrose... Over there." Tamara said as she took her left hand off her cane and pointed with her index finger in one area of Ecruteak City.
"Looks like you're pointing at a suburban house... Better get moving." Ambrose said as he looked in the direction his companion was pointing before tapping Tamara on the shoulder.
As they walked away towards the city, the bus that was driving away suddenly stopped as another person quickly got off. A young woman with glasses and her messy blonde hair with burgundy red highlights tied in an equally messy ponytail, dressed in a horizontal striped white and grey sweater with a long white skirt that reached to down to her ankles, black pants that were tucked into black boots and a string necklace that had a Moon Stone tied in it.
"Sorry! Sorry!" Anik said towards the bus driver as she readjusted her handbag around her shoulder. "I got distracted with my notes and I forgot how long it was taking before I got to my destination." She continued.
"Just pay better attention next time, miss." The bus driver said with a critical tone as he closed the door.
"Th-thanks..." Anik said with embarrassment as she turned around and looked at the town in front of her. "Okay... "Rarest Level Ranch" was the name, I think?" She said as she took a deep breath and started walking into Ecruteak City.
Well... Damn, didn't think we'd be seeing Anik back so soon! It's almost like the writer had originally planned for her to appear much later than this, but I guess fan demand was probably too strong and the character was fun to write for- Okay, another final warning. Sorry! After Keats and his Pokémon were goofing off in the woods, Keats had found that Dragalge is still struggling to deal with strangers and having very little people he can trust. But first things first, the "search for more money" is in full swing as Keats is in the red and needs some series money injections to afford a trip to Sinnoh to hunt down the next Snagem member. Crowdfunding maybe? Also, a strange man named "Birdclaw" has sent a rather confusing letter to the Dibiase household and Marie has received a Pokéball. What is in it? God damn it, not again with the Pokéball mysteries!? And who the heck were those two from the bus?! I'd say "see you next time on Wannabe," but I'm still trying to figure things out!
