Assassins in the Wizarding World.

Quick note- Khione is an OC character that I came up with, and I'm planning on using the name in a couple of Harry Potter stories, and probably in my other stories. If you guys are wondering, Khione is a female's name.

Also, I have other two names I came up, and they belong to me. They will be revealed in the chapter.

One last thing, I had published two new stories named An Older Sister Comforts the Younger Sister and Legend of Fairies. Be sure to check it out, I think you'll like it. Even though there is one chapter.

Enjoy the chapter.

Chapter Seventeen: Harry meets Khione, the Goddess of Ice.

Previously in the last chapter.

As Susan and the little girl were being wrapped in towels, Susan asked one question that made everyone freeze.

"Where's Harry?"

(In the Present)

"U-u-um…what do you mean, Susan?" Hannah stammered, looking at Susan with a scared look on her face. She had rushed over to the stands to see if her friend was okay, and to her very relief, her friend was fine.

Susan frowned at everyone, wondering why they are very nervous and scared. "Harry was the one who rescued me from the lake, right?" She asked, making the crowd nod their heads. "So, where is he? He should be back on the surface." Everyone turned away from Susan, not answering her question.

"Miss Bones, I don't know how to tell you this, but…" Dumbledore said sadly, making a sick and terrible feeling inside Susan's stomach as she turned to look at her headmaster. "Harry has been kidnapped."

Susan felt her heart stopped when her headmaster said that. Her breath was hitched, and her eyes were very wide. She could feel every pair of eyes on her, as she stared at Dumbledore with a shock look.

"W-w-w-what d-do you mean H-H-Harry was k-k-kidnapped?" Susan barely managed to stammer out, her mind was in shock. She can feel tears pooling at the corner of her eyes, and she was starting to shake a bit.

"When Harry was dragging you and Fleur's hostage towards the surface, he sensed something that caused him to push you both away and yelled out a spell to get you two to the surface." Bagman explained, sending a look of pity towards the auburn-hair girl. "However, the moment Harry yelled out the spell, a figure appeared behind him, and knocked him out. Before the team of Wizards can help him, the figure pulled out something that released a bright light. By the time the light faded, they were gone."

"Is there any way to find Harry?" Tatsumi asked the judges, while Akame and Leone went over to Susan to try and calm her down. The auburn-hair girl had tears streaming down her face and was sobbing hysterically. "Can the charm that Bagman suggested track him?"

"The charm Bagman used is only designed to show what the champions are doing, not find them." Esdeath explained, not turning her gaze away from Harry's screen. "And even by the time we find him, he could be injured or worse, dead."

The crowd and everyone in Europe looked down in sadness and realized that they may have lost their savior for good. Fleur was the one who looked complete devastated that she won't be able to say her gratitude to Harry for rescuing her little sister.

"Wait, look at the screen!" A person in the crowd exclaimed, pointing towards the giant screens.

The crowd and everyone in Europe turned to look at Harry's screen, which was starting to become less static.

(Unknown Location; With Harry)

"Ugh…my head." Harry groaned out, his eyes slowly opening, as he pressed a hand on the back of his throbbing head. His body was a bit cold, and his hair was damp. He was laying on something that was hard and uncomfortable. He slowly sat up and shook his head, making the pain in his head go away, only leaving a slight headache. "What happened?"

"Welcome, young Harry, to the Elemental Trials."

Harry's eyes shot opened when he remembered that voice, and he quickly stood up and look around. He was in an area that was filled with total darkness. The only light source was from where Harry was standing.

"Who are you?" Harry demanded, slipping his wand into his right hand, as he kept looking around, trying to find the mysterious voice that kidnapped him.

"Foolish Wizard! Raising a wand against an unknown person, and demanding answers!" A new voice exclaimed angrily, and Harry can tell that the voice belonged to a woman. "I rather kill you for your insolent manners!"

"Calm yourself, Xenia." The same voice from before said calmly, and Harry can immediately tell that the voice he heard earlier was a woman.

Suddenly, light filled the darkness, making Harry closed his eyes from the sudden brightness. When his eyes were adjusted to the light, Harry opened them, and was completely baffled from what he saw.

He was in a very large room that was completely covered in ice. The floors, the walls, and even the doors were made of ice. There were torches on the walls, and the fire was blue instead of orange. By the torches, Harry can see a banner that had a moon symbol on it.

'What is this place?' Harry thought, as he looked around the ice-covered room. 'And where am I?'

"You are in an ice stronghold, young Harry." The same feminine voice said, but it was coming from behind Harry, making him spun around with his wand raised.

At the end of the large room, there was a figure sitting on a throne chair that was also made of ice. The figure was an extremely beautiful and voluptuous woman that a lot of women would be jealous of. Harry had to admit, the woman was beautiful. She had snow-white skin that enhances her beauty, brown hair that was long and straight, and blue eyes that shine like the ocean or sky. She also had crescent moon earrings on both of her ears, and on her head was a beautiful blueish-gray moon tiara.

Her outfit was a very-revealing dark blue kimono, with decorated moon symbols on the sleeves and the front. The kimono was wrapped around the woman's torso with a very thin white string that was just below her chest. For the finishing touches of the attire, she wore white below-knee socks and blue open-toe sandals.

She was sitting on the ice chair with happy smile on her face, like she was glad that Harry was here. However, she wasn't alone. Standing on each side of the ice chair were two people that were also women.

The first woman, who was standing on the right side of the ice chair, was looking at Harry with distaste on her face. She had dark purple hair that was long, silky and tied to a ponytail, with two bangs on each side of her head, pale skin and purple eyes. She was wearing a blue cheongsam dress that exposed her cleavage and had blue fingerless fore-arm gloves.

The second woman, who was standing on the left side of the ice chair, was looking at Harry with a stoic look on her face. She had long, white hair that was curly and a bit spiky, pale skin and pale silver eyes. Her outfit was the same as the purple-hair woman, only hers were silver instead of blue, and the fore-arm gloves were blue, which were also fingerless.

"Greetings, young Harry." The woman on the chair said, bowing her head forward in greetings. "It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Khione, the Goddess of Ice."

"Are you the one who kidnapped me?" Harry demanded, pointing his wand at Khione, who had a frown on her beautiful face.

"I wouldn't say kidnapped, young Harry. More like taken aside." She said, bowing her head forward again, but this time with forgiveness. "Forgive me for doing that."

"Mistress, let me crush this insolent boy!" The purple-hair woman on the right side exclaimed, glaring hatefully at Harry, who tensed. "How dare this brat raised a wand against you?!" To Harry's shock, the woman waved her hand to the side, and small ice shards suddenly appeared in thin air.

'She's an Ice Elemental like me?!' Harry thought, pointing his wand at the purple-hair woman, ready to defend himself.

However, before the purple-hair can attack Harry, the white-hair woman beside Khione carelessly waved her hand and the small ice shards disappeared, making the purple-hair woman let out a shocked gasp. "A-A-Anna? W-what are you-"

"Xenia, Mistress Khione told you to calm down." The white-hair woman, known as Anna, said emotionlessly, without even turning to look at her friend. "And you tried to attack Harry without her permission."

"Anna is right, Xenia." Khione said, turning to her right to glare at the purple-hair woman, known as Xenia, who flinched. "You need to calm down."

"But Mistress…"

"No buts." Khione snapped, silencing Xenia. "You will sit down and be quiet. If you don't, then I will punish you swiftly and brutally, and we know what my punishments are, don't you?"

Suddenly, Xenia got onto her hands and knees and bow before her Mistress. "Mistress Khione, please!" She pleaded, her voice filled with regret and fear. "I beg your forgiveness! Please don't punish me! I won't do it again!"

"You better, or you'll find yourself in the dungeons before you can say something." Khione's voice was ice cold, and it made everyone in the room, including the spectators at Hogwarts, shivered. "Now, I believe it's time we discussed about the Elemental Trials."

"Elemental Trials?" Harry repeated, a confused look on his face, as he slightly lowered his wand. 'What's that?"

"The Elemental Trials is a very old forgotten event to see if a Wizard or Witch can control their own Elemental powers and see if they are worthy to learn the true meaning of the Elemental powers." Khione replied, turning to look at Harry, losing her glare and the cold voice in process. "Because of its nature, it is a very important event that every Elemental in the Wizarding World must take this trial, even if it's against their own will. If they don't do it, then they will lose their Elemental powers, including their magic, and become a Squib for the rest of their live."

"So, this event is about using Elemental powers, right?" Harry asked, making Khione nod her head. "And it has to do with the respective element?" Khione nodded her head again. "Then how come that I'm the only one here? Surely there are other Elementals out in the Wizarding World, right?" He was curious about if there were other Elementals out in the Wizarding World.

Khione released a light sigh before shaking her head. "No, Harry. There isn't any Elementals out there." She said, her voice was sad, something that made Harry's heart clenched a bit. "You are the only Elemental left in the Wizarding World."

"W-what?" Harry gaped, staring at Khione with wide eyes. He was completely caught off guard from Khione's answer. "What do you mean, I'm the only Elemental left? There's has to be more out there." He did not want to believe that he was the only Elemental in the world.

"There isn't, and it pains me to say it, Harry." Khione replied, her voice was still sad. Anna and Xenia, who had moved back to her spot, put a comfort hand on Khione's shoulder.

"How am I the last one?" Harry asked, giving a sympathy look towards Khione. "And what happened to them?"

"Thousands of years ago, when magic came into the world, there were a group of Goddesses that trained the first Elementals." Khione began explaining, making Harry widened his eyes a bit when Khione mention the 'Goddesses' part. "Yes, Harry. I was one of the Goddesses that trained the first Elementals, and the person who made this ice stronghold." Her face was filled with amusement from seeing Harry's face. Even Anna's and Xenia's faces were filled with amusement, though Anna got rid of it quickly.

"Mistress Khione is immortal, Harry." Anna said, seeing that Harry was about to ask a question.

"Anyway," Khione continued. "The Goddesses were doing their own thing when they were suddenly informed that a group of people were using an element. The Goddesses were surprised and intrigued by this and went to see this for themselves. When they arrived, the group of people who were using their Element powers noticed them, and do you know what they did?"

"They demonstrated their skills?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You are correct, they did demonstrate their skills to the Goddesses. And among those group of people was your ancestor, Harry." Khione replied, smiling at Harry, who became shocked. "The group of people impressed the Goddesses, and it was then that the Goddesses decided to make the Elemental Trials and they passed the event. And soon, the group of people began passing their Elemental powers towards new generations."

Harry didn't register the last part because he was busy processing the information about his ancestor. His eyes were wide, and his breath was hitched.

'I can't believe it...' Harry thought with a shock look on his face, as he stumbled backwards. Anna quickly summoned an ice chair for him to sit on. 'My ancestor is an Elemental…and I never knew that…' A huge wave of anger boiled inside him, as he started to release a bit of his aura, making the occupants in the room freeze a bit. 'I was right when I was talking to McGonagall! Dumbledore didn't want me to learn more about my family! He wanted to keep me in the dark, so he can never tell me anything! Oh, when the meeting between me and him comes, I will get my answers, and I will get every single one…'

"My ancestor was an Elemental?" Harry asked, once he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"Yes, Harry." Khione replied, nodding her head, though she did have a slight fear inside her, despite being immortal. "Your ancestor, Ignotus Peverell, was a generous man that used his Elemental powers for good, not evil. He became the best Elemental in the world."

"I never knew about that at all…" Harry said, hanging his head down in shame. Despite studying a lot, he did not know much about his family name and Heritage. 'I'm not worthy to have the name of Potter. I am a huge failure and disappointment. My parents would be disappointed in me.'

It was then Harry realized what his ancestor's name was and got confused. "Wait, who's Ignotus Peverell?"

"You don't know about the Peverell family? Your own ancestor?" Khione asked, a look of disbelief on her face. Surely, she thought that Harry was lying.

"I don't know what the Peverell name is, or even my own Heritage because I was raised by Muggles." Harry said, shaking his head. 'Abusive Muggles because of Dumbledore.'

Khione began muttering darkly under her breath. Harry can hear things like, "How can he not know about his ancestor?' and, 'Damn Dumbledore for placing him with Muggles.'

Khione took a deep breath to calm herself before she said, "I am a bit disappointed that you don't know about the Peverell family."

Harry didn't say anything, only to look at the ground and clenched his fists tightly. He hated that he doesn't know much about the Wizarding World, and he blamed Dumbledore for leaving him at the Dursleys.

Khione can tell that her words were a bit harsh, and she released a sigh. "However, I can tell you a bit about them, but you'll need to go to Gringotts to learn more about them."

Harry looked up to see a soft smile on Khione's face. "You will?" He asked, making the Ice Goddess nod her head.

"From what I know about the Peverell family, they were one of the most powerful and well-respected family in the entire Wizarding World." Khione said, as she tried to remember about the Peverell family. It has been a thousand years since she last spoke of them. "The Elemental power Ignotus used was ice, just like the element you are using, Harry."

Harry looked at the ice floor to see his reflection. He was happy to learn a bit about his ancestor, and he made a vow to learn more about the Peverell family.

"Well, I think it's time we get started on the Elemental Trials." Khione said, standing up from her ice chair and walked forward a bit.

"But you didn't tell me about what happened to the Elementals." Harry said, raising his head from the ground and stood up.

"That may be true, but we have wasted a bit of time, and we need to get started." Khione said, waving her hand to get rid of the ice chair. "Xenia. Anna. Take my earrings and tiara and leave the room." Xenia and Anna took Khione's tiara and earrings and left the ice-covered room.

Khione stretched her arms out, feeling satisfied when she felt the bones crack and let out a light sigh. She then turned to look at Harry and asked, "Are you ready to begin, Harry?"

"How does an Elemental win in the Elemental Trials?" Harry asked, conjuring a shirt for him to wear, before pointing his wand at Khione.

Khione gave Harry a smile, but instead of a kind one, it was a predatory one, and it made Harry on edge. Her eyes were narrowed and cold, making the Ice Goddess look intimidating. If that wasn't enough, her body was releasing a cold mist. "You'll just have to figure it out."

Well, we find out who kidnapped Harry. Who would've thought that the Ice Goddess is one of the Goddesses that created the first Elementals? (I'm not sure if that's how the Elementals were created, but it was a great idea I came up with)

The names that belong to me are Khione, Xenia and Anna. If anyone is using these names for their stories, let me know and I will change them.

Write a review and enjoy the chapter.
