Harry vs Khione (Part Three)
(At Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
Muttering could be heard all around Europe as the Wizarding World began talking about Khione's Secret Art move.
"Well, Harry's screwed." Leone stated, earning glares from all around her.
"Leone! Don't say that!" Susan, Hermione and Akame hissed.
"It's true! If what Khione said about that Secret Art was true, Harry is going to be in trouble! Not to mention, he's starting to become exhausted from using a lot of magic!"
"We need to have faith in him!" Susan retorted heatedly. "Harry has pulled off a lot of deadly situations in his adventures, so I'm sure he can handle this Elemental Move."
"I'm not sure about that, Susan." Cedric said, causing everyone to widen their eyes.
"Are you taking Leone's side, Cedric?!" Susan demanded, turning around to give her fellow Hufflepuff a glare. "Are you saying that Harry's going to lose to an Ice Goddess?!"
While Hannah, Hermione and Cho were trying to save a terrified Cedric Diggory from an angry Susan Bones, who was known to have a fiery temper because of her hair, Tatsumi, Akame and Leone were having their opinions about Harry's battle.
"What do you guys think?" Akame asked, turning to her comrades. "Do you think that Harry can handle Khione's Secret Art?"
"I still think Harry's screwed." Leone said, shaking her head a bit. "Regardless of how strong and smart Harry is, he's exhausted, and half of his magic is depleted. It's only a matter of time before he loses consciousness."
"Harry will win this, Leone." Tatsumi said with a frown on his face, as he turned to look at Leone. "You heard what Susan said about him, about spending time in the library and the Forbidden Forest to practice spells. Aren't you glad to see him taking his studies seriously?"
"I like what Harry's doing, Tatsumi, and I'm proud of him of that." Leone said, a soft look on her face when she said the last part. Like Akame, she considers Harry as a little brother. "But I am concerned about him."
"About what?"
"The fact that Harry is starting to isolate himself away from everyone, except his friends." Akame explained, a worried look on her pale features. "He spends so much time in the library, and whenever he spends the rest of his time, he hangs out with Esdeath instead of being with his friends."
"I never knew that at all." Tatsumi said with surprise in his voice. "I always assumed that he was with Susan and Daphne since they are his girlfriends."
"You haven't?" A surprised Leone and Akame asked at the same time. "I thought you knew because of the rumors that had been going around."
"I never listened to the rumors at all." Tatsumi explained. "I was trying to find a spot to train without anyone noticing."
"Oh," Akame and Leone said at the same time again. "Well, now you know." They then turned to glare at each other. "Stop copying me!" Tatsumi couldn't help but let out a laugh, causing both Akame and Leone to turn their glares onto him. "Stop laughing at us! Argh! Stop copying me!"
"Ooh, looks like Khione is about to demonstrate how her Secret Art works!" Bagman announced, putting an end to Akame's and Leone's glaring contest.
Everyone in Europe sharply turned their attention to watch Harry's screen when they heard Bagman's voice.
(With Harry and Khione)
"Why don't I demonstrate how this Secret Art works?" Khione asked with a smirk, enjoying the look of fear on Harry's face, despite being hidden. "But don't worry, Harry, I won't use big Magical Creatures until things get more…heated."
Harry felt a spark of anger inside him from hearing Khione's mocking voice. He hated the fact that Khione was going easy on him from the beginning, and he hated that he'd been wasting his Magical power.
"Ice Birds!" Khione suddenly exclaimed, waving one hand to the side to summon a small army of ice birds, like twenty to thirty. However, the moment she summoned the birds, they twitched a bit before they became real and life-like before letting out a crow.
'So, the Secret Art was true then. Khione can make anything that can become real.' Harry thought, a bit baffled from seeing ice birds becoming real. Then again, he did learn that animals can become objects and be reverted into their form. He learned that in an advanced Transfiguration book. It was then Harry thought of something that he began to wonder. 'Wait, does the Secret Art move work for me, too? Can I also summon life-like creatures?
"Go, birds! Attack Potter!" Khione commanded, pointing a figure at the raven-hair man, who was still in his baffled, yet thinking, state, and the life-like birds obeyed their mistress and began zooming in on their prey, talons ready to claw or scratch Harry in the face.
…Only for the birds to fall lifelessly on the ground with their heads copped off by a single swipe of Harry's sword. Blood was leaking out of the birds' heads, and it was staining the ice floor, changing the blue color to red.
Khione blinked a couple times to register what happened. The birds she summoned were alive and heading straight towards Harry, then they fall lifelessly to ground with their heads chopped off. And all of that happen in a single swipe of Harry's sword. Said man didn't even move from his spot!
"H-h-how the hell?" Khione stuttered.
"My turn." Harry said, concentrating a bit of magic before slamming a hand down on the ground. "Ice Golem!" A large golem of ice that stood ten feet tall with a huge battle mace appeared in front of Harry, and like the ice birds, it twitched a bit before the ice changed into sturdy rock, along with its battle mace.
The now alive golem turned around to look at Harry and suddenly spoke in a deep voice. "What is thy bidding, Master?"
Harry was completely startled to see stone golem talking to him but managed to shake it off and spoke in a commanding tone. "Golem, I command you to attack Khione! Don't stop attacking until she's unconscious!"
"As you wish, Master." The golem said, nodding its head before it turned around and began charging at Khione, who stood there in a surprised state. The golem raised its mace up in the air, and with a battle roar, it swung its mace downwards.
"Ooh, nice Elemental Move, Harry! And you also figure out that you can use my Secret Art, too!" Khione praised with happiness, not even concerned to see a battle mace heading towards her head. "But sadly…it's not enough to beat me." To prove her point, Khione summoned an ice sword in her hand and began attacking the golem with speed that would've been impossible to pick up by anyone, except trained fighters. The golem tried to block the attacks, but that couldn't be possible at all since golems are slow.
In a few moments, Khione stopped slashing the golem and landed behind its back, her ice sword disappearing in the process. The golem had many cracks all around its body, and Harry was a bit worried that if the golem took a step forward, it could shatter into pieces.
"Golem, don't move at all! If you take a step forward, you could shatter into pieces!" Harry ordered almost instantly when he saw the golem turning around and was ready to step forward.
"Forgive me, Master, but I must follow thou first order." The golem spoke in its deep voice, and before Harry could command it again, the golem took a step forward.
Boom!
The golem exploded into dust and rock debris almost immediately, and Harry felt a part of himself died when he saw his creation turned to rock debris, not even paying attention that some of the debris were flying in separate directions in the room, with some debris coming close to hit Harry in the face.
"Ahh, did Harry miss his big friend?" Khione asked with mock-sadness, as she stood up and wiped some of the dust off her skin. "I never thought that you would feel sadness from seeing a Magical Creature die before your eyes, despite not knowing it."
Harry looked from the pile of the rocks that was once the golem to where Khione was and narrowed his eyes. "I always feel sadness whenever a creature is destroyed, despite not knowing it. It may not be a human, but it's still a life-form. And life-forms only have one life in this world."
Khione can feel her eyes stung a bit from hearing Harry's words, and she couldn't help but feel appreciation in her heart. The words Harry said were true, life-forms only have one life in the world, and some life-forms uses their life by either doing good things or bad things.
However, as much as she wanted to think about Harry's words, Khione needed to bring her attention back to the battle at hand. Luckily, she came up with a quick idea and wave her hand to the side. "Ice Spiders!" Like the birds, thirty large, real-like spiders appeared in front of the Ice Goddess, and they were snapping their pincers at Harry, who grimace a bit.
"Spiders, surround Potter and don't make a move towards him until I said so!" Khione commanded, and the spiders obeyed their mistress. Harry didn't know how it happened, but in a moment, the spiders had surrounded him, snapping their pincers at him and ready to eat him. Harry was a bit scared to face that many spiders, but he remembered something that Aragog once told him and Ron, and that info will give Harry the comeback and scare the spiders away.
"So, Harry," Khione smirked, thinking that she had the upper hand. "Got any last words left before the spiders eat you?"
"I have but two words to say…" Harry said, a smirk slowly spreading across his face before he slammed one hand on the ground. "Ice Basilisk!" A fifty feet long Basilisk appeared in front of Harry, and it twitched a bit before becoming real. The snake's skin was green, and its eyes were blue, unlike the yellow ones Harry had seen during his Second year.
The Basilisk reared its head back and let out loud, frightening hiss.
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
The moment the crowd saw the Basilisk becoming real, terrified screams filled the air, and everyone who knew the Basilisk were closing their eyes, so they won't be caught by the Magical Creature's killing gaze.
"Keep calm, everyone! The screen will not show us the Basilisk's eyes! We are safe!" Bagman exclaimed, even though he was shaking in fear.
While Bagman's statement did calm a few people, others were talking about the Basilisk in scared voices.
"Jesus, look at the size of that beast!"
"It's so huge!"
"I just wet myself!"
(Back with Harry and Khione)
'Crap! I didn't expected Harry to summon a Basilisk!' Khione thought in shock, as her spiders reeled back in pure fright from seeing an ancient beast. 'I was expecting another golem, but not a Basilisk!'
"Go, Basilisk! Kill the spiders and attack the woman you see with your poisonous teeth!" Harry hissed, using the ability to talk to snakes. "And make sure you close your eyes when battling the woman! Don't get your killing gaze taken away!"
"As you wish, my Master." The Basilisk hissed back in reply before it slithered towards the frighten spiders and began crushing them with its long, hard body. Some of the spiders had long fled the Basilisk, afraid to get killed, only to fade away into dust by Khione, who had an angry expression on her face before she charged at the Basilisk with two ice swords in her hands.
However, some spiders stayed behind, and managed to get behind Harry, who was busy dealing with one spider by slashing the legs off before stabbing his sword in the eyes, which caused the spider to cry out in pain before it slumped to the ground. The spiders were just about to pounce on their prey when they suddenly felt themselves flying in the air and onto their backs.
"Nice try, you eight-legged freaks!" Harry yelled out, using a Flipendo Jinx to knock the spiders that were behind him away. He had sensed them coming and was ready to knock them away. "You're not going to take me down that easily! And I think's it's time for me to use a new spell!"
After he said that, Harry began concentrating a teleport spell onto his sword, which caused the runes on it to turn electric blue. He then began moving around while slashing his sword at the same time to create a symbol that looked like a moon and once he was done with the said symbol, he waited until the spiders got closed to him. Said spiders were charging at him after they got back onto their four legs.
When the spiders got close enough and step over the moon symbol, Harry made his move.
"Portkey Teleport!" Harry exclaimed, causing the moon symbol on the ground to light up, and the spiders that were charging at him suddenly disappeared with a cry of surprise.
Khione didn't hear the surprised cry of the spiders, nor see the moon symbol, as she was busy dealing with the Basilisk. Her eyes were opened the whole time, while the Basilisk's eyes were closed, and Khione assumed that Harry ordered it to close the eyes, so it wouldn't lose the killing gaze. And Khione had to admit, it was a smart move.
"Oh, my god! Will you go down already, you big, slithering bastard?!" Khione bellowed, as she sent two slashes at the Basilisk, which very obviously didn't do much damage. Khione jumped back when she saw the snake lunging at her. "I have been battling you for about five minutes, and nearly all of my spiders are gone!"
If the Basilisk had a human mouth, it would've been smiling from how frustrating Khione was getting.
It was then Khione remembered something, something she should've done the moment Harry summoned the Basilisk. "Wait a minute, I'm a dumbass!" Khione exclaimed, mentally slapping herself. "Basilisk fears one thing; a rooster!" She quickly got rid of one ice sword and summoned a rooster before she held it up in the air with one hand, which the animal let out a loud hoot that caused the Basilisk to let out a cry of pain.
Harry heard the pain cry of the Basilisk and swiftly turned around to see twitching around in pain. He didn't understand why it was twitching in pain, since the eyes were left intact. But when he saw the rooster in Khione's hands, Harry understood what was happening; Khione was killing the Basilisk with a rooster. "No!"
"Die, Basilisk!" Khione exclaimed, enchanting the rooster's voice to make it louder than before. The Basilisk let out one last cry of pain to the heavens before it collapsed backwards, with its body turning over that it laid on its backside. The snake was dead.
"Damn it!" Harry cursed, forgetting about the Basilisk's weakness. "I forgot about the Basilisk's weakness! I should've put a Silencing Charm on it."
"I must admit, Harry, I wasn't expecting what you summoned at all." Khione stated, getting Harry's attention. "I was expecting for you to use your spells or your sword, but not a Basilisk." She then snapped her fingers and the Basilisk disappeared.
"What'd you do with it?" Harry asked, wondering what happened to the Basilisk.
"I sent it to your training place at Hogwarts," Khione replied, causing Harry to widen his eyes a bit. How did she know about his training place? "Where it will be waiting for you so that you can sell it to the Goblins. They pay big for Magical Creatures, like a Basilisk."
"Oh…well, thank you."
"You're welcome."
Silence took over the atmosphere as Harry and Khione stared at each other before the latter broke it.
"You know, my Secret Art doesn't just make real-like creatures or objects." Khione said, crossing her arms. "It can create events from a person's memory."
Harry had a strange and twisted feeling inside him when Khione said that. He didn't like what this conversation was going. "What are you saying?"
"What I'm saying, Harry, is that my Secret Art can also create people or creatures from a person's memory." Khione explained. "Let's say that if I read a person's mind and saw a creature they hate, I can re-create that creature and summon it so that person can fight it again."
"Are you saying…that if you go into my mind, you can summon anyone you want?" Harry asked in a very bland tone.
Khione nodded her head, confused about Harry's bland tone.
"Even…Him?" Harry spat the word out 'him' with so much venom, hatred and loathing that it caused Khione to take a step back from fear. She didn't know who Harry was talking about, but she hoped that Harry never spoke in that tone again. "You can also summon that bastard?"
"W-w-who are you talking about?" Khione stuttered out, starting to get scared now.
"Read my mind and you'll know who I'm talking about." Harry's voice was still filled with venom, hate and loathing.
A quick look in Harry's mind told Khione what he was talking about; he was talking about Voldemort.
"I see…" Khione said, as she withdrew her mind out of Harry's memories. "You're talking about Voldemort, or more precisely, Tom Marvolo Riddle." She had seen what had become of Tom Riddle and couldn't help but feel utterly disgusted. Not only he used one of the blackest magic in the world to make several objects that contains his soul, but he slaughtered so many people, men, women and children. To her, Riddle is a monster. "So, what is it that you want me to do?"
"I want you to summon him from my memories. Summon the younger version of Riddle, the one I showed you in my memories."
"You really want to face that monster? The monster that not only killed so many people during the First Wizarding War, but your parents?" Khione asked in disbelief, staring at Harry with wide eyes. "Harry, that guy is powerful and scary, and not to mention, a monster. There's no way you'll survive against him."
"Do it, Khione. Summon him, now." Harry demanded. "I want to show Riddle that I'm not going to cower under a stupid name. To me, he is nothing but a weak and a pathetic coward. He hides in the shadows, waiting for his pet Death Eaters to do all the work, and when the odds are in his favor, he comes out and finishes the job. To me, that's a coward would do."
"I have a feeling that Riddle is pissed from what you said about him, Harry." Khione muttered under her breath before she got back to the topic at hand. "But still, are you sure want to face him? If I do summon him, I'll have to make the version of Riddle from your scar, since he placed a piece of Dark magic in it. He'll gain everything that you learned over the last few months. Not to mention, he could be a Shadow Elemental since he uses Dark magic."
"Whatever, just summon him." Harry said, not even concerned about what Riddle was going to gain from him. However, he did listen about what Khione said about his scar. There it was again, that Dark magic. Does Khione know about his scar? "And make sure he knows how to use a sword too, since I don't have my wand."
"Very well," Khione said, nodding her head before she began doing her magic. "Good luck, Harry."
That was the last thing Harry heard before the room suddenly exploded in a bright flash of blue light.
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
Terrified gasps rang out in the Wizarding World as they saw Khione about to summon their most fear enemy. Though, some of Wizarding people, namely the Death Eaters, became very angry from what Harry just said about their master, despite the fact they did not go looking for him.
"Is Harry out of his mind?!" A person from the crowd exclaimed worriedly.
"There's no way Harry will handle You-Know-Who!" A female from the crowd screamed.
"If he does fight him, he's going to lose!" Another person from the crowd exclaimed.
If the crowd was worried, it paled from where the champions and their hostages were. Susan was sobbing onto a teary-eye Hannah Abbott's shoulder, and she was looking at Harry's screen with red, puffy eyes. Cho was also looking teary-eye and she was sobbing onto Cedric's below shoulder. Fleur looked at Harry's screen with tears running down face, along with Hermione and Gabrielle, while Krum looked on with a sympathetic look.
"Harry…please." Susan begged to Harry's screen with tears in her eyes. "Don't fight him."
"There's nothing we can do, Susan." Leone said, her blond locks covering her eyes. "Harry has made up his mind. All we can do now is hope for the best."
"Let's just hope that Harry knows what he is doing." Tatsumi said, his brown locks also covering his eyes.
"He'll win against him." Akame said; her red eyes not even leaving Harry's screen. "He has encounter him three times, he can survive against him for the fourth time."
Susan sniffled a bit before she wiped her tears away and gave Akame a weak smile. "You're right, Akame. Harry can survive against him for the fourth time. The only thing we can do now is offer him our support."
A bright flash of light suddenly came out of Harry's screen, and it caused chaos to start in the Wizarding World once again.
(With Harry)
Harry didn't know how long the bright flash of blue light lasted, but as soon as the light dimmed down to a less bright level where it won't blind his eyes, he slowly opened his eyes to see what the battlefield looks like. Sky-blue eyes widened when he saw numerous floating platforms, a large palace in the middle with multiple skyscrapers and lots of broken debris at the bottom. Harry didn't had confirmation, but he was sure that this might be the place when a person battles someone from their memories.
Speaking of memories, Harry's eyes widen even further when he remembered that he was going to battle the man he absolutely loathed above all else and began looking around in a frantic manner.
"Riddle, where the hell are you?!" Harry shouted, still looking around in that frantic manner. "Come out and face me like a man!"
"Hello, Harry. It's been a while since we last met each other."
Harry completely stiffened when he heard that familiar voice before slowly looking up to where a figure, clad in Hogwarts robes with a green tie and a prefect badge, was standing on a floating platform, looking down at Harry with a smirk. The figure was a tall, handsome young man that looked to be about sixteen, and had jet-black hair, pale skin, and crimson-red eyes with slit pupils. To everyone else, namely the girls, the young man would be handsome in their eyes. But to Harry, the young man was a monster and a murderer in his eyes.
This was Tom Marvolo Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort, the Dark Lord of the Wizarding World and the murderer of Harry's parents and so many other people.
"Riddle…" Harry spat out in pure venomous tone, glaring at Tom Riddle with all the hatred he could muster.
"My, my, so much anger and venom in that tone." Riddle softly said, as he jumped off the floating platform he was on and descended slowly to the platform where Harry was on, who jumped back from what Riddle was doing. "It's unwise to keep negative emotions inside you, Harry. You need to let them out."
"Thanks for the advice, but I think I'll keep the negative emotions inside me." Harry said coldly, still glaring at Riddle. "Negative emotions do make spells more powerful than positive emotions."
"You're right about that, Harry, twenty points to Gryffindor." Riddle said with an approving smile. "Negative emotions are more powerful than positive emotions, and the more negative emotions you have, the more powerful your spells become. In fact, the difference-"
"If you're going to give me a lesson about the difference between positive and negative, forget it, Riddle." Harry said, interrupting Riddle. "I don't want to even listen to your stupid voice."
(At Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
The moment the crowd saw Riddle when the flash of blue light ended, there were a lot of terrified and disbelief screams, and they would say things like,
"That's You-Know-Who?!"
"That can't be him! He doesn't look like a snake!"
"But he does have red eyes and pale skin!"
Over by the judges table, Esdeath was looking at the most feared man in the Wizarding World with an intrigued expression on her face. 'So, that's the Dark Lord Harry was talking about.' The Ice Queen of the Capital mused. 'He's not what I expected at all, except the eyes, which are exactly like Akame's. This should be interesting to watch.'
In the section of where the champions and their hostages were, they were gazing at Riddle with terrified gazes, and poor Gabrielle Delacour had to hug Fleur tightly to forget seeing the scary man.
"I can't believe it." Cedric said, not turning his gaze away from Riddle, while still having that terrified look on his face. "I can't believe that's You-Know-Who."
"It's impossible." Krum said in a sour tone. "I heard stories about him, and he doesn't even look like the person from the stories."
"He probably did rituals to make himself like a snake." Fleur said, as she tightly hugged her little sister. "So, that must've been what he looked like before he became a monster."
"Well, that's great and all, but are we just going to ignore the fact that Harry and Riddle looked exactly like each other?" Leone asked, looking at Riddle with calculated eyes. "They both look so similar that it's not even funny."
"Leone's right, I can see the physical similarities between Harry and Riddle." Tatsumi pointed out, narrowing his eyes at Riddle. "They're both have the same hair color and skin tone, even though Harry's skin has a bit of tan. Hell, even their faces are the same."
"Don't say that, Tatsumi." Hannah said with a violent shudder. "I don't even want to think about that."
"Akame, what are your thoughts about this?" Hermione asked, turning to look at the raven-hair assassin, only to shudder a bit from seeing the girl's eyes. 'Merlin, Akame's eyes are the same as You-Know-Who, only hers are a shade darker.'
"His eyes…they're like mine." Akame muttered, not even listening to the conversation and the question Hermione asked her.
'Be careful, Harry.' Susan said, as she placed her hands together in front of her chest, looking like she was about to pray. 'Don't lose to that bastard. Show him and the Wizarding World why people shouldn't mess with a Potter.'
In the Slytherin section of the Hogwarts crowd, a certain Greengrass girl had the same thoughts as Susan, but her thoughts were more…hostile. 'Harry, if you lose to him, I will beat you senseless for making this foolish decision!'
(Back with Harry and Riddle)
"Why is it that you hate me so much, Harry?" Riddle asked in a curious tone. "I have done nothing wrong to make you angry, so why do you hate me?" He was earned with a pure disbelief stare from Harry and the spectators at Hogwarts and the entire Wizarding World.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! YOU HAD DONE A LOT OF THINGS TO MAKE ME ANGRY!" Harry roared, getting out of his shock state. "YOU HAVE NOT ONLY KILLED MY PARENTS, BUT YOU KILLED SO MANY PEOPLE! YOU KILLED SUSAN'S PARENTS, HAD YOUR FOLLOWERS TORTURED NEVILLE'S PARENTS INTO INSANITY, AND YOU STRIKE FEAR INTO THE WIZARDING WORLD, MAKING IT DIVIDE INTO TWO SECTIONS! AND THEN, YOU HAVE CAUSED SLYTHERIN'S REPUTATION TO BECOME SO BAD THAT NONE OF THE OTHER HOUSES IN HOGWARTS WOULD ASSOCIATED WITH THEM! YOU HAVE RUINED HOGWARTS AND BRITAIN!"
For a moment, Riddle looked ashamed of himself and his horrified actions, but Harry wasn't buying the ashamed look at all.
"Harry, I must admit that my actions were terrible and horrifying, but the actions were necessary to help the Wizarding World and the Purebloods." Riddle explained. "We were on the verge of extinction, and I cared about our kind."
"Bullshit! As if you care about the Purebloods! You don't even care about anything at all! All you care about is destroying everything and killing people that you don't like because of your childhood!"
Riddle's eyes darken a bit when Harry mentioned the childhood part, but a cruel smirk suddenly spread across Riddle's face, one that made Harry tensed. "Wow, I can't believe I didn't notice it at first, but you did inherit your mother's temper. Lily was always scary when it came to her temper, and many of my Death Eaters gotten injured from her." A false sigh of sadness escaped Riddle's mouth. "I wish she was still alive. I could use her help."
"My mother, Lily Potter, would never join you or your filthy Death Eaters to shred blood in the Wizarding World." Harry snarled angrily. "She would've joined hell than join you."
"Don't be so sure about that, Harry." Riddle said, still having that smirk on his face. "Despite Lily being a Muggle-born, which I hate, she had interested and intrigued me with her abilities after she left Hogwarts. She managed to achieve a Charms Mastery from Flitwick, something that no one has accomplish over a few years, and she was an excellent dueler when battling against my Death Eaters; she could've been on par with dear Bellatrix if she pushed herself to the limits. Not to mention, she was very beautiful and she might've been my lover."
A look of pure fury and hatred appeared on Harry's face when Riddle said that last part, and it was taking all his willpower to not start fighting blindly. 'Keep calm, Harry. Don't lash out like an idiotic Gryffindor. Be a cunning Slytherin and a smart Ravenclaw. Wait until the perfect opportunity to strike Riddle in the back, so you can fight Khione again.'
"Heh, if you think you can get the best of me and strike me in the back, Harry, you're sadly mistaken." Riddle suddenly said, interrupting Harry's thoughts. "Haven't you forgotten who I am? I am Lord Voldemort; I always know everything."
"You don't know anything at all, Riddle. You use Legilimency on people who can't even learn Occlumency." Harry stated in a deadpan tone. 'I need to start learning Occlumency soon. I've spent so much time training my Magical Core and body that I didn't had time to learn Occlumency. Maybe when I get back to Hogwarts, I can ask Professor Flitwick about the subject. No way in hell that I would ask Snape; I rather join hell than ask that slimy bastard.'
An angry glint appeared in Riddle's eyes, not liking that Harry was talking back to him at all. He was Lord Voldemort. People should fear and cower before him! Suddenly, as if a flip was switch from being on to off, the angry glint in Riddle's eyes was gone and he began observing Harry, who tensed from seeing the calculating look in those crimson-red eyes.
"I see you're not a scrawny kid anymore with the whip marks on your back when we met in the Chamber of Secrets, Harry." Riddle mused out, still observing Harry. "You have gotten taller, smarter, handsome, and most importantly, stronger. You have grown stronger than before."
"Are you seriously flirting with me?" Harry asked; his face, along with the spectators of Hogwarts, becoming a bit green. "Because if you are, I don't swing that way."
"You may say that, but what I'm saying is compliments and achievements, Harry." Riddle replied. "You managed to survive thirteen years of abuse of your relatives, despite losing a childhood you desire, and you survived the odds of death multiple times. It's a either a miracle or an extreme case of luck that you are alive."
"Gee, thanks for the compliment, Riddle. I offer you my correspondence." Harry sarcastically said.
"But what really astonished me the most, Harry, is the fact that we are so similar and have very much in common."
"We are not like each other!" Harry exclaimed. The mere thought of being alike with the Dark Lord was enough for Harry to gag inwardly.
"But we do look alike, Harry, and there are multiple reasons. We are both Half-bloods and orphans that have been raised by filthy Muggles, and we didn't have any friends when growing up. And we saw what the world really was; a black and white world that is filled with bigoted and hatred." Riddle said, as he walked over to the edge of the floating platform and stared off in the distance. His hair and robes were bellowing slightly, like an invisible breeze was passing by. "We also have an ability that no one had seen for over a thousand years, and we both believe the survival of the fittest, where the strong survives and the weak perish."
Harry didn't say anything but narrowed his eyes at Riddle.
"We both have an unnaturally talent in classes, which are Charms, Transfiguration and Defense against the Dark Arts, a thirst for knowledge and a desire for power to become the strongest sorcerous in the world." Riddle continued, still staring off at the distance. "We also want to become stronger to not only surpassed our limits, but to surpassed Dumbledore and his stupid, forgiving and redeemed views. And the last thing that we both have is a great hatred to Dumbledore. He was the one who created me to become a Dark Lord and made me deluge into the Dark Arts, and he was the one who dumped you, Harry, at your relatives."
"What is it that you're trying to say?" Harry asked, causing Riddle to look at him.
"I am giving you a choice, Harry. A choice to join me. If we join forces, we can do great things in our world, and with our combine strength and knowledge, we can take our revenge on those Muggle filth that raised us and bring order to the Magical World. And we would also cleanse the corruption in the Ministry of Magic." Riddle declared, raising his arms in the air. "We can show the Wizarding World what true power is, and what it means to be a Witch and Wizard. We will achieve great things if you join my side, Harry!"
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
"Harry's not seriously considering joining Riddle, right?" Leone asked in disbelief. "Especially after the bastard killed his parents?"
The Wizarding World was as shocked as Leone is after they heard Riddle's offer to Harry. But they were shocked the most when the Dark Lord revealed that he is a Half-blood instead of a Pureblood. For years, they thought that the Dark Lord was a Pureblood, so to find out that the Dark Lord is a Half-blood, it causes cries of outrage to scatter across entire Europe.
"I don't know, Leone." Tatsumi said, shuddering a bit from the glares he was receiving. "Harry has a lot of anger inside him, and he does not like Dumbledore at all."
"But he would not join a murderer." Akame stated with a deep, yet worrying, frown.
"What would you do if Harry joined Voldemort, Dumbledore?" Esdeath asked, turning to look at the old Wizard.
The Wizarding World wanted to hear Dumbledore's answer.
Dumbledore sighed heavily, knowing that the answer he was going to revealed will shock the Wizarding World. "If Harry did joined Voldemort…then I would've killed him."
"Albus!" Minerva gasped in horror, along with the Wizarding World, while Esdeath narrowed her blue eyes at Dumbledore. "You cannot possibly mean that! You cannot be serious about harming Harry!"
"I do, Minerva. I would harm Harry." Dumbledore replied sadly. "Harry shows many similarities to Tom, which are anger, hatred, a bit anti-social, a desire for power, a thirst for knowledge, believing in the survival of the fittest and a vow to become the strongest Wizard. Not to mention, both Harry and Tom can speak Parseltongue, and they both have similar auras that are large, dark and filled with hate and anger."
"But that doesn't mean that Harry is evil!" Minerva protested with a bit of Scottish in her tone. "Sure, Harry is becoming cold, powerful and an uncaring person, but that doesn't mean that Harry would join Tom Riddle!"
"She's right, Professor!" Hermione piped up. "Harry would not join You-Know-Who!"
"You don't understand, Miss Granger. Harry has a lot of anger and hatred inside him that it could take years to vanished." Dumbledore stated, as he turned to look at Hermione with sad blue eyes. "He's also broken from the abused he suffered from his relatives, twisted into believing the survival of the fittest, and have a determined purpose to kill Tom."
"And you're the reason why Harry's like that." Leone spoke up. "Just like Riddle becoming a Dark Lord."
"I had no idea that Harry was being abused at his relatives, but I won't deny that it was my fault for creating Riddle the way he is." Dumbledore admitted, much to the Wizarding World's shock. "You see, Tom had begged the school to let him stay at Hogwarts for each summer, since he considers it as his home than the orphanage he grew up in, but the previous Headmaster and I kept sending him back to the place where he was raised at each summer, and Tom soon began deluging himself deep into the Dark Arts to the point where he began the First Wizarding War."
"If you knew Riddle was becoming a Dark Lord, then why did you not do anything?" Esdeath asked, raising a blue eyebrow. "You are strong enough to match Riddle's power, so why did you not kill him when you first had the chance?"
"Because I'm not a killer, Esdeath." Dumbledore replied in a steel tone. "I don't kill people because I believe they can be redeemed from their actions and using violence against violence will only cause more bloodshed to spill. The reason why I didn't kill Tom was because he was still a child and a student at Hogwarts, and I wasn't going to murder a student in cold blood."
"But you won't mind killing my son." Esdeath retorted back with a bit of coldness in her voice. "You would just murder him."
A somber look appeared on Dumbledore's face. "You're right, I would murder Harry in cold blood." The next words Dumbledore said caused a reaction from everyone. "Not because he joined Tom and his followers, but he would become the next Dark Lord to cause chaos in the Wizarding World."
Gasps filled the air as everyone in Hogwarts stared at Dumbledore in horror, anger and shock. They couldn't believe Dumbledore, the Leader of the Light, Headmaster of Hogwarts, one of the most famous Wizards in the whole world, would say that Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived, would become the next Dark Lord. However, only two people were very angry at Dumbledore and those people were Susan Bones and Daphne Greengrass, with the former's face becoming red as her hair and the latter struggling to hold her Ice Queen mask. They couldn't believe about what Dumbledore said about their boyfriend being the next Dark Lord, and they now understand why Harry hated Dumbledore.
With revenges in their minds, Susan and Daphne began making their way towards the judges table to give Dumbledore a piece of their minds. Unfortunately for Daphne, she had to walk to the middle of the stand to get to the judges table, and what she was about to do will reveal her relationship with Harry. But she didn't care about the consequences as she cared about hurting Dumbledore, along with Susan, who was stomping up to Dumbledore.
When Dumbledore heard booming footsteps behind him, he turned around to see who it was, only to meet a closed fist coming straight at his face, which said fist connected to his face and forced the old Wizard to be sent crumbling to the ground.
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO MY BOYFRIEND?!" Susan roared, glaring hatefully at her Headmaster, while ignoring the shock gasps all around her. "HARRY WOULD NEVER BECOME A DARK LORD!"
"Susan!" Hannah and Cedric shouted, running towards the very angry Hufflepuff to stop her from attacking Dumbledore. They were very lucky that Susan didn't pull out her wand when she stormed over to Dumbledore, otherwise things would totally be in chaos.
Dumbledore was still lying on the ground, nursing his face with one hand from the punched he received from Susan. If he was going to be honest, that punch was worse than the one his brother gave him after his sister's funeral, and he sometimes wonder if all women pack this much strength. The punch didn't break any bones, but it did hurt a lot.
Just as Dumbledore was about to get up from the ground, he felt something stinging connecting to his chest and face, causing him to let out pain moan, though it was more of a gurgle. The crowd looked over to see who attacked Dumbledore again, and they were very surprised to see Daphne Greengrass pointing her wand at old Wizard with a very cold look on her beautiful face.
"Don't you ever say Harry will be the next Dark Lord, Headmaster." Daphne spat, still pointing her wand at Dumbledore. "Because if you do, then I will personally show you why no one should mess with the Most Ancient and Noble House of Greengrass." She then lowered her wand and walked over to where the champions and their hostages were.
There was stunned silence for a moment before chaos broke out.
"HARRY/POTTER IS DATING SUSAN BONES AND DAPHNE GREENGRASS AT THE SAME TIME?!" The Wizarding World exclaimed.
(Back with Harry and Riddle)
"Well, Harry, what is your choice?" Riddle asked, lowering his arms and turning around to face Harry, who had a pensive, yet blank, look on his face. "Will you join my side, or will you be my enemy?"
Harry's mind was swirling with thoughts as he thought about the facts Riddle had just said, and he couldn't help but agree with them, with the first fact that Harry and Riddle were raised by Muggles, had no friends when growing up and saw what the world really was; a black and white world that is filled with bigoted and hatred. The second fact was that both Harry and Riddle can speak Parseltongue, an ability that no one had seen for a thousand years, and the last fact, which is probably the important one, was that both Harry and Riddle have a determination to become the strongest sorcerer in the world, no matter what gets in their way.
But there are differences between Harry and Riddle, and the former had to agree with the differences, because there was no way that Harry was like the Dark Lord. Riddle was just a monster who would kill anyone – regardless of what their blood is – that doesn't follow him or agree with his views, and the Dark Lord hasn't experience love before or even had friends; he just sees people as tools. And his views were just killing, torturing or raping people and spreading fear into both Magical and Muggle Worlds, while laying destruction.
Harry, on the other hand, had experience love by the people he will treasured in his heart, and they were Hermione, the Gryffindor Quidditch Team, Akame, Neville, Leone, Tatsumi and Esdeath. Those people are the only ones Harry considers as a family, or in Esdeath's case, a mother to him, which he was going to start calling her mother soon. Unlike Riddle, who has a lot of hatred and anger, Harry doesn't kill people left and right based on their blood. The raven-hair man would only threaten people who'd done bad things, and even though he has a lot of hatred inside him, he doesn't really hate Dumbledore; it was just a strong sense of dislike.
'What should I do?' Harry thought, hanging his head down to let his hair shadow his eyes. 'Should I join Riddle, despite that I turned it down during my First year, or should I just be Riddle's enemy?'
"Well, what is your answer?" Riddle asked with a bite of impatience, interrupting Harry's thoughts and causing the Ice Elemental to look up at Riddle. "Are you going to join me?"
"I…I appreciate the offer, Riddle, and I was just thinking about it." Harry started, causing a smirk to appear on Riddle's face. "But I have to decline the offer."
Riddle lost the smirk on his face and a frown took place. "You're declining my offer? Why?"
"For several reasons, and some of the reasons are personal to me and the Magical World." Harry replied. "As I said before, you killed so many people, along with my parents, Susan's parents as well and tortured Neville's parents into insanity. You have tarnished Slytherin's reputation so bad that none of the Houses of Hogwarts would associate with them. You have also ruined Britain, even though it was very outdated with its laws."
"It's true we have so much in common, Riddle, I'll give you that." Harry agreed, shocking Riddle a bit. "We are both Half-bloods that had been raised by Muggles that hated our kind, and we grew up friendless while seeing what the world looks like; a black and white world that is filled with bigoted and hatred. We both are talented, powerful, handsome and have an ability that no one has seen for over a thousand years, while having a thirst to prove ourselves to become the strongest sorcerer in the world. We even look alike."
"But there is a difference between us, Riddle, and I'm not talking about the stupid rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin, or I'm a Light Wizard while you're a Dark Wizard." Harry declared, pointing a finger at Riddle, who was still silent from listening to Harry. "I'm talking about our personality's. Unlike you, I don't kill people; I just threaten them if they do bad stuff, like bullying people. You just kill people, Riddle. That's all you do, just kill, kill, kill people until you are satisfied with your results, and whenever things don't go your way, you unleashed your anger on your Death Eaters or kill them if they are worthless to you. So, even though I gave you my answer, I'm declining to join you, Riddle. You are nothing but a filthy, lying Half-blood."
Riddle's face was blank and devoid of all emotions, something that caused Harry to be extremely cautious and tensed. The Ice Elemental didn't know what was going on in Riddle's mind, but he didn't want to know.
"You would choose the Light fraction? The fraction that accepts Mudbloods and Blood-Traitors?" Riddle suddenly asked in tone that was filled with anger and disgust.
"I walk the Road to Neutral." Harry stated firmly, giving Riddle a piercing stare. "I'm a Grey Wizard, unlike a Dark or Light Wizard. I would use a combination of Light and Dark spells."
"Then…you are a fool, Harry Potter." Riddle spat; his crimson-eyes flashing brightly in anger and a look of insanity appeared in those eyes. "I offered you a choice to change history in the Magical World, and this is how you repay me? By declining my offer?"
"Your offer means nothing. You lie to people and never go true to your word."
Riddle's eyes flashed brighter than ever, and Harry retained himself from stepping back. "Since you show no interest of joining me, I'm afraid that I need to teach you on how to respect your superiors…by fighting Elemental Form with Elemental Form." At once, Riddle raised his arms high in the air again and said two words that caused a bit of sweat to run down Harry's face. "Elemental Form…"
(At Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
The moment Tom Riddle said Elemental Form, everyone in the Wizarding World became very scared because of two reasons. One, Riddle just said Elemental Form. And two, the crowd was afraid of feeling Riddle's Magical power. They weren't prepared of Harry's ice-cold Magical power, and they didn't want to feel Riddle's Magical power.
The crowd's fears increased tenfold when they saw a dark tornado, an exact duplicate of the ice tornado, only with shadows instead of ice, appeared right where Riddle was standing, making the said person vanished in it. But while the crowd was confused on why they didn't see the Magical power erupted, they were terrified of what's coming next.
And that was when the crowd felt the Magical power, causing them all to freeze. They didn't know how to describe it, but it was like death washing over them with a very dark, sadistic and sick aura that was filled with a cold that deprives of all warm, light and heat.
"Oh…fuck me." Leone stuttered, shuddering horribly from feeling the sick aura. She had felt a sick aura once, and that aura belonged to Esdeath's. But this aura was much worse than Esdeath's. Without realizing it, Leone moved closer to Tatsumi and wrapped her arms around him, hoping that his warmth could calm her down. "Do any of you guys feel that?"
"If you mean that…that sick aura, Leone, then yes. I feel it, too." Tatsumi grimly said, hugging Leone back. "And it's sickest thing I'd ever felt in my life." 'With the exception of Esdeath, of course.'
"I don't like this at all." Hermione said, shivering uncontrollably, even though she was being consoled by Krum.
"Me too, Hermione." Cho agreed, shivering like the bushy-hair girl and being consoled by Cedric, whose face was filled with fright and fear. "I feel cold…"
Susan and Daphne were frightened beyond belief from feeling the death Magical power and they were currently hugging the life out of each other. Fleur and Gabrielle were doing the same thing as the Hogwarts students, only Gabrielle hid her face in Fleur's waist.
'This aura is on par with Esdeath's killing intent, and I'm very concerned about it.' Akame thought, not even shuddering like the people around her, as she narrowed her dark red eyes at the dark tornado on Harry's screen. She, along with the said woman, were the only people not effected by the aura, but just because they weren't effective, it didn't mean that they were comfortable either. 'I know Khione's Secret Art can make memories of people, but how is it possible to feel an aura from a person who was created from a memory? Harry hadn't felt the aura when he told me, Tatsumi and Leone about his adventures.'
'Alright, Harry, this is your ultimate test of not only your life, but the skills you learned and your Elemental powers.' Esdeath thought, confident that Harry will beat Riddle. 'You're going to need everything you learned so far to beat Riddle, even though you don't have your wand. I know you won't fail me and the Potter family.'
(With Harry and Riddle)
When Harry felt the death Magical power, he quickly jumped onto a different floating platform with a flip and once he landed on the ground, he quickly stood up and summoned a very sturdy ice wall to protect himself from the Magical power. Once he was certain that the ice wall was protecting him, Harry kneeled on the ground with one knee and began examining the place where Riddle was momentarily standing a few moments ago, not before using a wandless Tergeo – a Cleaning Charm – to vanish not only the dry blood on his face and the cuts on his body, but the blood on Harry's mid-section and legs. He also used a wandless Bandaging Charm to not only wrapped bandaging's around the X-shaped scar on his mid-section, the scar on his face and his legs, but the cuts he'd received from Khione's Blizzard Waves.
'That dark tornado looks exactly like my ice tornado when I activated my Elemental Form, only it has shadows instead of ice.' Harry thought, looking at the dark tornado with a calculating look. 'It could be that Riddle is a Shadow Elemental, just like Khione said. But I'm concerned about the weapon Riddle is going to have after this tornado disappears. What will the weapon be? Or will Riddle even have a weapon since he considers Muggles beneath him?'
Harry's thoughts were broken when the dark tornado suddenly glowed sickly green – the same color as the Killing Curse – causing Harry to become tense. He wasn't sure why the tornado was glowing sickly green like the Killing Curse, but he didn't want to know at all. He was mentally preparing himself to either jump away from the tornado if it became more dangerous.
After a few more tense moments, the dark tornado stopped glowing sickly green and began evaporating into tiny wisps of darkness, causing Harry to lose some of the tension he had and narrowed his sky-blue eyes when he saw a faint outline of a figure. But when the wisps of darkness finally vanished, Harry felt his eyes widened in shock from what he was seeing.
Standing where the dark tornado evaporated was Tom Riddle, who was looking calm and collected, while looking over his right shoulder. His eyes were closed, and his arms were now resting by his sides instead of being raised in the air, and like Harry, Riddle's appearance had changed when he activated his Elemental Form.
For instance, Riddle's hair color had changed from jet-black to silver with green highlight tips and his pale skin was paler than before, almost like the snow. He also had faded-green markings that completely covered his face, making him look like a demon from hell.
However, Harry didn't notice the markings on Riddle's face or the silver hair with green highlight tips, because he was staring at the outfit Riddle was wearing. An outfit that was eerily similar to his own outfit. 'That…that outfit…' Harry thought, still staring at Riddle's Elemental Form outfit in shock. 'It looks like mine…'
Riddle's outfit was the exact same outfit Harry was wearing, a long-sleeved, V-shaped jacket that went to his feet, baggy pants and leather boots. However, there is a difference between the outfits. It was the color of the outfit. While Harry's jacket was deep red and black-trimmed, Riddle's jacket was deep green and silver-trimmed. While Harry's trousers were black that was being held up by a red sash, Riddle's trousers were green that was being held up by a green sash. While Harry's leather boots were red, Riddle's leather boots were green. And while Harry's fingerless gloves were black, Riddle's fingerless gloves were green with silver lining.
It was then Harry noticed the weapon Riddle was in his right hand, and his sky-blue eyes widen even further. The sword was an exact duplicate of his Diamond Saber! But there are differences between the two katanas. While one katana is black with red rune symbols and a red gem with an eye pupil that was slitted like a snake, the other katana is silver with green rune symbols and a green gem with an eye pupil that was slitted in a horizontal direction. While one katana's cross-guard was shaped like a snowflake, the other katana's cross-guard was shaped like a ritual star symbol. While one katana is wrapped in red wrappings, the other katana was wrapped in green wrappings. And while one katana had a thick, black chain with red lining and had a moon symbol at the end of the chain, the other katana had a thin, silver chain with green lining and had a skull symbol with a snake coming out of its mouth at the end of the chain.
(A/N: Since Riddle and Harry looked alike, I thought it would be interesting to have Riddle's Elemental Form be the exact same thing as Harry's Elemental Form)
"Elemental Form: Shadow Death." Riddle said, opening his eyes that caused Harry to take a step back from his ice shield. Riddle's eyes were still crimson-red color, but the sclera had changed from white to black, which officially made Riddle look like a demon, even though he did look like one because of the faded-green markings on his face.
'How can Riddle's Elemental Form be the same as my own Elemental Form?!' Harry thought, still shocked to see Riddle, the man he hated and loathed above all else, in a form that is very similar to his own form. 'And the sword, too?! How is it possible?!' Harry's eyes widened even further when he saw Riddle suddenly disappeared. 'Where did he go?!'
"That shocked look on your face was priceless when you saw my Elemental Form, Harry." A voice whispered into Harry's ear, causing him to whirl around to see Riddle standing behind him. Before Harry can even do anything to defend himself, Riddle used his left hand to punch him hard in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him and causing him to spit out spittle. "Ah, did that punch hurt?"
"F-f-fuck you." Harry wheezed out, kneeling on the ground to cough out more spittle. He had unknowingly dropped his sword in the progress of kneeling.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk." Riddle clicked his tongue, walking around Harry. "That is not an answer I'm looking for. You know better than to disrespect your superiors." Without warning, Riddle suddenly kicked Harry in the back, causing him to fall face-first on the ground, and before the Ice Elemental can get up, Riddle roughly placed a foot on his back, trapping him. "Now, let's try that question again. Did that punch hurt?"
"My answer is the same as before, Riddle. Fuck you." Harry spat, turning his head to the side to glare at Riddle with one sky-blue eye.
Riddle didn't say anything but increased the foot pressure on Harry's back, causing the Ice Elemental to grit his teeth. He was not going to give Riddle satisfaction of being in pain. He will not.
"I find your resistance to not cry out in pain intriguing, Harry." Riddle commented. "As I said before, you really have become more powerful to the point you won't cry out in pain. But that's going to change quickly. Now, from what I learned in your memories, you can resist the Imperius Curse. That's very impressive and not many people can do it. However, not many people can resist the curse when I cast it." A cruel smirk appeared on Riddle's face. "Let's see if you can fight it off."
Riddle raised one hand to do the wandless Imperius Curse, but before he can cast the curse, Harry quickly waved his hand to summon twenty ice spears and sent them flying at Riddle at a fast pace, who was surprised by this but managed to vanish all the ice spears with a single wave of his hand. However, because of Riddle's distracted state, this gave Harry the opportunity he was looking for. The opportunity to escape Riddle's grasp and do some damage to him.
Wasting no time, Harry twisted his body around and raised a hand at Riddle to cast a very powerful Banishing Charm. The charm met its target, and Riddle, who was greatly surprised again from seeing Harry doing a wandless spell Harry and didn't had time to block it, was sent flying away in the air and into the ice wall Harry created a few moments ago, causing the young Dark Lord to let out a pain groan as he slid downwards to the ground.
Seeing the opportunity of ending Riddle and fight Khione again, Harry quickly retrieved his sword from the ground and made a mad dash towards the fallen Dark Lord, who got up from the ground and shook his head to clear the dizziness he'd formed when he crashed into the ice wall. But when he saw Harry coming towards him, blade ready to strike him down, Riddle quickly stood up from the ground and raised his sword up to block the attack Harry sent at him.
"What?!" Harry exclaimed in disbelief.
"If you seriously think I'm going to go down that easily, Potter, think again!" Riddle yelled, pushing Harry away from him and began doing a series of attacks that were fast and a bit aggressive. The attacks caused the Ice Elemental to either dodge or defensively parried the attacks with his sword. Soon, the attacks were becoming more aggressive and faster, and it was causing Harry to start moving around with a series of gymnastics around Riddle, which was causing him to become angry. "Will you stop moving around and hold still?!"
"Not in your life, Riddle!" Harry yelled back, smacking one of Riddle's attacks away with his sword before jumping over him with a side-flip. Once he landed, Harry was quickly on the offensive part while Riddle was on the defensive part. Harry sent attacks that were fast, graceful and slightly powerful and he moved around in circles, not wanting to stay in one spot. However, the attacks Harry sent were either parried with Riddle's sword or missed since Riddle was also moving around like Harry, but the opposite way.
Starting to get a bit annoyed that his attacks aren't doing anything, Harry continued to be on the offensive part and send more graceful attacks that were becoming more faster and powerful, while still moving around in a circle. But the attacks, like before, were either deflected by Riddle's sword or caught in a blade-lock that Riddle takes advantage of by bringing the blades upward and using his remaining hand to cast wandless spells that were, for some reason, Light instead of Dark. Harry would either quickly move his blade away from the blade-lock to smack the spells away with his sword or leaned his body to the side to dodge.
It wasn't long until Harry and Riddle were caught in a blade-lock after they sent a slash at each other and they were currently gritting their teeth slightly, trying to overpower one another.
"Is this really the best you can do, Potter?" Riddle asked with a raised eyebrow. "I would've thought you would do something amazing with your ice powers."
"Oh, I'll show you something amazing with my powers, Riddle!" Harry snarled, not liking the fact that Riddle said the same thing about not using his ice powers as Khione. "But before I do that, I want to show you something that I just learned recently."
"Oh, really? Humor me, Potter, what is it?"
A sadistic smirk appeared on Harry's face as he concentrated the Elemental Move he used when he was battling Khione, causing the runes on Harry's blade to turn icy-blue. Once he was done with that, Harry punched Riddle in the face with his right hand, causing the Dark Lord to release a pain yell and staggered backwards, and that was when the Ice Elemental made his move.
"Deep-Zero Arctic Slash!" Harry shouted, swinging his sword downwards to release the wave of white ice with blue highlights. The wave of ice headed straight at Riddle, who didn't see the attack since he was trying to recover from Harry's punch.
"ARGH!" Riddle screamed in pain, feeling the ice-cold power piercing through his upper body and clothes, creating a wound and making blood run down his body. He was breathing a bit heavily from how strong the attack was. "What was that move you just used, Potter?!"
"That is what I just learned recently, Riddle, when I was battling Khione." Harry said with a wide smirk, feeling a satisfaction of smugness and glee when he saw Riddle injured. "It's an Elemental Move I can cast with my sword, but I must concentrate the power onto my sword, otherwise it won't work. My sword can also cast other spells, like the Fire-Making Charm and Water-Making Charm, even the Unforgivable Curses."
"Are you serious?" Riddle asked in shock.
"Yep," Harry said, popping the last letter. "But I don't need to use a Unforgivable Curse on you, Riddle, because of two reasons. One, I'm not going to waste my Magical power on casting the spell, despite I really want to. And two, since you're just a memory, there's no point of letting you see something amazing."
"We'll see about that!" Riddle snarled, as he rushed towards Harry; his silver and green sword ready to strike. Harry rushed back at Riddle; his black and red sword also ready to strike. Once they got close enough, they jump at the same time and clashed their swords against each other with a great force that created a shockwave.
It was now a crashing battle between swords.
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
Silence.
Deathly silence can be heard around the Wizarding World and Hogwarts, as they watched the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord, and many emotions can be seen on the population's faces, which are awe, worry, fear, shocked, terror, amazed and bafflement. Though, mostly the emotions are fear and terror because they fear the Dark Lord.
Before the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord began, the Wizarding World was shocked at Riddle's Elemental Form outfit and sword since it was the same as Harry's, and some of the audience screamed when they saw Riddle's eyes. It was the terrifying thing the students, along with the people who faced the Dark Lord in the First Wizarding War, had ever seen in their life.
In fact, the crowd was talking about the eyes right now, and they were saying things like,
"Holy mother of Merlin, look at those eyes!"
"They're so scary!"
"He looks like a demon from hell!"
The Wizarding World would've continued talking about Riddle's eyes, if it hasn't been for Esdeath, who released a large amount of killing intent to keep everyone silent. Not wanting to feel that scary intent again, the crowd's attention went back to Harry's screen, wanting to see man's reaction to Riddle's Elemental Form since it was the same as his Elemental Form, but they didn't get a chance to see the reaction when Riddle vanished from his spot and reappeared right behind Harry.
"HARRY, HE'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU! TURN AROUND!" Hermione, Leone, Cho, Hannah, Susan and Daphne all screamed at the same time, completely forgetting that Harry can't even hear the crowd.
The crowd watch as Riddle leaned forward to whisper in Harry's ear, making the man whirled around for everyone to see his reaction, which was, as they had assumed, shocked. The crowd then winced when Riddle punched Harry in the gut.
"Ooh, what a punch to the gut You-Know-Who threw at Mr. Potter!" Bagman announced, getting glares from all around him.
"BAGMAN, IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP WITH THAT COMMENTARY, I WILL HEX YOU SO BAD THAT YOU WON'T EVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY AGAIN!" Daphne shouted, releasing a large amount of killing intent, while pulling her wand out and aiming it at Bagman, whose face was white as a ghost from feeling the killing intent before scurrying away from judges' table and away from the scary lady. Once he was gone, Daphne let out a small sigh before putting her wand away and extinguishing the killing intent, ignoring the fearful looks she was getting from around her. "Finally, he's gone."
"I know, Bagman's commentary was pissing me off." Tatsumi said, ignoring the look of disapproval on Hermione's face.
The crowd's attention went back to Harry's screen, and they became very worried when Riddle raised his hand up to cast a wandless Imperius Curse on Harry, but the said man managed to quickly summon ice spears in thin air and sending them at the Dark Lord, causing him to become distracted and vanished the ice spears away.
"Now, Harry! Use You-Know-Who's distraction to escape!" Everyone in Europe exclaimed, forgetting that Harry can't hear them. They cheered when Harry cast a wandless Banishing Charm to push Riddle away from him, and shouts of 'Get him, Harry!' rang in the air as they watched Harry sprinted at the down Dark Lord, his sword ready to end the person who caused damage in Magical Britain. But a disappointed groan replaced the crowd's shouts when they saw Riddle blocked Harry's attack with his sword.
And right now, the crowd was currently watching Harry and Riddle clashing their swords against each other, with Harry taking the defensive part and Riddle taking the offensive part at first before it went the other way around with Harry taking the offensive part and Riddle taking the defensive part, and the crowd couldn't help but be amazed by what they're watching.
"Harry's battling well against Riddle." Susan breathed out in awe.
"But this is just the beginning, Susan." Leone said, not taking her golden eyes off Harry's screen. She was impressed with Harry for three reasons. One, he wasn't scared of Riddle. Two, he was handling himself and holding on his own. And three, he was relying on graceful attacks instead of aggressive attacks. 'Harry, if you keep up with those graceful attacks and moves, you might become earn a Swords Mastery, just like you'll become a Elemental Mastery at the end of the Elemental Trials.'
"Yes, the real battle is about to start soon." Akame stated, thinking the same thoughts as Leone. She was impressed with Harry's lack of fear of Riddle and Harry's graceful attacks. But like before, she was worried about Harry. She didn't want to see her little brother become a person who believes the survival of the fittest.
"So, if they're not battling for real, then what are they doing?" Hannah quietly asked, taking her brown eyes off Harry's screen to look at the Empire Group.
"Testing each other." Akame, Leone and Tatsumi said at the same time.
(Back with Harry and Riddle)
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
The sound of sword clashing sword echoed in the ice stronghold and both wielders who were silent during the blow by blow exchanged were giving everything they had at each other, even though they were holding back a bit.
"You're good with a sword, Potter." Riddle said, as he sent a low blow at Harry's legs, who jumped over Riddle and sent a stab at his expose back, only for Riddle to turned around and lean his body to the right to dodge the stab attack. "And very skilled, too."
"Thanks…you're not bad yourself, even though you are a novice with a sword" Harry said, backing up when Riddle began a series of high and low attacks, all of which were blocked with ease and grace. "But I'm surprised that you would use a sword, Riddle, since you consider Muggles beneath you."
"I may loath Muggles when I was being raised the orphanage I grew up in, but I can tell they're dangerous when it comes to their weapons and technology."
"In that case, see if you can block a Muggle's weapon, Riddle!" Harry exclaimed, as he jumped backwards to not only dodge a strike that was aimed at his chest, but to put some distance between him and Riddle. "Ice Pistol!" A small handgun that was made of ice appeared in Harry's right hand, and once he felt the gun in his hand, he aimed the gun at Riddle and pulled the trigger.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!
Shot after shot of bullets, which were made of ice, came out of the ice gun's barrel and headed straight at Riddle, who made no move to defend himself. But when the ice bullets came close enough, Riddle made his move and he shouted something that caused Harry's suspicions about Riddle being a Shadow Elemental to be confirmed.
"Shadow Wall!" Riddle shouted, waving a hand to the side summon a dark wall that was made of shadows. The ice bullets didn't stand a chance to penetrate the dark wall because the moment the ice bullets met its target, they instantly turned into tiny particles of ice dust.
"So, you really are an Elemental, Riddle." Harry stated, becoming on guard from what he seen, not before vanishing the ice gun in his hand. "But not just any Elemental, a Shadow Elemental."
"Correct, Potter." Riddle said with a smirk. "Take another twenty points to Gryffindor. You have no idea how much a Shadow Elemental means to me. Not only I can blend in with the shadows, but my power increases whenever shadows are around me." An arrogant smirk appeared on Riddle's face. "And because of my power increases, my Elemental Moves become faster and powerful. In fact, here's a demonstration. Shadow Hammer!"
A large hammer made of shadows appeared above Harry's head and swung down on him with great speed that he barely managed to dodge. 'Ok, is it just me or am I getting slower?' Harry thought, as he dodged another shadow hammer, only this hammer was swinging sideways. 'I thought it was my imagination, but I starting to feel like I'm getting slower. In fact, it feels like my body's heavy...just like that time when I hurt Esdeath.'
After dodging a few more shadow hammers with each one becoming faster and faster, Harry counterattack by summoning twenty ice spears and sending them at Riddle, but the Dark Lord summoned another shadow wall to deflect the ice spears, and when the said spears hit the wall, they turned into ice dust.
"Now, this is getting more fun by the passing minute!" Riddle exclaimed with glee in his voice, surprising Harry greatly. He never heard Riddle say the word 'fun' before, and that unnerved him. "I was wondering if this battle would be the same as the time in the Chamber of Secrets when we first met, but that changed when you started using your Elemental powers! You really have changed for the past two years, Potter."
"It's a good thing I changed, Riddle, because I'm no longer a weak person like everyone else thought of me." Harry said, losing the unnerved and narrowing his eyes at Riddle. "Sure, I was a mediocre student for the last three years of Hogwarts, but I gotten the wake-up call when my…mother called me weak." There was a slight hesitation in Harry's voice when he said the word 'mother.' "Ever since then, after the First Task, I started training my magic all day and past midnight to show Hogwarts what I am. I wanted to show the world and Hogwarts that I'm not just the Boy-Who-Lived and a mediocre student; I wanted to show the world that I'm strong, powerful, intelligent, cunning and have nothing to fear."
"Now, I think it's time we stopped talking and start battling again, Riddle." Harry continued, as he surrounded himself in his dark blue aura, causing his hair and clothes to bellow slightly. "But things are going to be different."
"How?" Riddle asked.
"Warm up is over, it's time to step it up and start battling for real."
"I agree," Riddle agreed, copying the Ice Elemental actions, only his aura was black. "I grown tired of battling you with this Muggle sword, but my opinion about it changed when you suddenly cast a spell from your own sword. I look forward of casting spells at you, boy."
"Enough talking, let's fight." Harry proclaimed, as he increased the pressure of his dark blue aura, causing everything around him to turned into ice. Riddle copied the same action as Harry, but Riddle's aura caused everything around him to turned into shadows.
For a long moment, both Elementals just stood at a distance away, releasing their own respective auras while staring at each other with heated glares that could melt a person into a puddle when suddenly, as if a switch was being flipped off, they canceled their auras and lifted their swords up in the air before pointed it at each other. They gave each other a firm nod and they lowered their swords.
The two Elementals then started walking towards each other with slow steps before they started to jog, and before they knew it, they were now sprinting at each other. When they met halfway, they jumped in the air and clashed their swords against each other, creating a shockwave.
(At Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
"THAT WAS A WARM UP?!" Everyone in Europe shouted in disbelief from what Harry just said a moment ago, about him and Riddle doing a warm up battle instead of fighting for real. "THEY WEREN'T EVEN BATTLING FOR REAL?!"
Over by where the champions and the hostages were, their faces were filled with shock and disbelief. They couldn't believe that Harry and Riddle were just testing each other the whole time instead of fighting for real.
"What the hell?! I thought Harry and Riddle were fighting for real!" Cedric exclaimed.
"Didn't you just hear what I said a few moments ago, Cedric?" Akame asked, turning to give the Hufflepuff champion an annoyed look. "I said that they were testing each other, not fighting for real."
"Things are about to get tense." Fleur stated, getting a nod from her little sister.
"Things are already tense from the start, Fleur." Tatsumi said, not even taking his forest-green eyes away from Harry's screen. "But it's about to get worse since Riddle is a Shadow Elemental."
"Surely ice can prevail over shadows, right?" Hannah inquired, getting everyone's attention. "I mean, ice is strong enough to freeze anything."
"That may be true, Hannah, but Riddle can manipulate shadows from anywhere, including Harry's own shadow." Leone pointed out. "Even if Harry can manage to freeze the shadows, there will still be shadows all around and it will give him a hard time to dodge the Elemental Moves Riddle will create, like the shadow hammers."
"And it might be impossible for Harry to even hit Riddle." Hermione spoke up. "I mean, what if Riddle can blend in the shadows?"
The rest of the champions and the hostages didn't have anything to say about that but turned their attention back towards Harry's screen so that they can continued watching the battle between Harry and the Dark Lord.
(With Harry and Riddle)
After they clashed their swords against each other in the middle of the floating platform they were standing on, Harry and Riddle moved one hand away from their own sword's hilt, powered up a wandless Banishing Charm in their hands and thrusted it towards one another, causing them to be pushed backwards into a small distance away. After recovering from the Banishing Charm, Harry made a move.
"Ice Spears!" Harry shouted, waving one hand to summon thirty ice spears in thin air. Another wave caused the ice spears to start heading towards Riddle, who smirked before making his own move.
"Shadow Cannons!" Riddle shouted, waving one hand to create six cannons that were made of shadow, with three cannons on each side of Riddle. Another wave from Riddle caused the cannons to fire energy balls that were made of shadows.
The shadow balls headed straight at the incoming ice spears and the moment they impact each other; it caused a large amount of dust to fill the air, which caused Riddle to take advantage of by sinking downwards into the ground. Since he was a Shadow Elemental, he can blend in pretty much anything but only if it's a shadow, and that was something he was going to do to surprise the hell out of Harry.
Harry couldn't see what Riddle was doing since he was currently busy on dealing with the large dust that was still in the air. "Damn it, I can't see a thing and I can't even see that bastard." With a couples of slashes with his sword, the large dust disappeared, and Harry became shocked when he didn't see Riddle. "Where did he go!?" A movement from below catches Harry's eye and he looked down to see a shadow moving towards him in a fast pace. The fast-paced shadow caused sky-blue eyes to widen when the Ice Elemental realized who the shadow was. "What the?! He blended in with the shadows?!"
Harry's shock state gave Riddle the chance to come out of the ground and make an Elemental Move. "Shadow Kick!" Riddle shouted, coating his leg in shadows and colliding it into Harry's chest with a powerful force that caused the Ice Elemental to be launch away from Riddle, into a couple of floating platforms and into the large palace, where he lay flat against the wall with his sword next to him.
Stars appeared in Harry's vision as he struggled to stand up from the ground. That kick he received from Riddle must've damaged his ribs, but to his great relief, none of the said ribs were broken. "How many times have I been colliding into walls since the Elemental Trials started? This is bullshit and ridiculous." It took a while, but Harry managed to stand up on his feet and grabbed his sword. "If I keep colliding into more walls, my back is going to become stiff as a board, and I might have to-"
Whatever Harry was about to say was cut off when he sensed a spell coming towards him, forcing him to roll sideways to avoid the spell, which impacted the wall that caused a small explosion. Ears slightly ringing, Harry stood up and looked to see who cast that spell, only to be met with a shadow-covered fist that caused him to be sent flying backwards into the corridor he was in and onto his back.
"Come on, Potter," Riddle's voice rang in the palace corridor as he slowly walked over to the down Harry. "Surely that kick I gave you a moment ago didn't make you exhausted, right? You managed to stay awake after colliding into those floating platforms and the palace wall, and you're going to let it end like this? I expected more of you."
"Like hell I'm going let it end like that!" Harry snarled, quickly standing up from the ground and glaring at Riddle, who stopped walking and stood a few feet away. "I will never lose this battle to a fucking memory!"
"Then show me your power, Potter!" Riddle exclaimed, pointing his sword at Harry. "Show me all the training you did with your new mother! Show me the power of ice!"
"I will!" Harry shouted, placing one hand on the ground and concentrated his magic power. "Ice Giant Dragon Head!" A large dragon head that was made of ice and looked like the Hungarian Horntail appeared in front of Harry and was glaring at Riddle with pure white eyes.
'Impressive use of magic.' Riddle thought, staring at the ice dragon head. 'If Harry didn't have his Elemental Form activated, he would've passed out from creating that Elemental Move, which seems to take a lot of magic power.'
"Ice Giant Dragon Head Roar!" Harry shouted, waving a hand towards the ice dragon head, causing it to open its mouth and released a tornado of ice and blizzard that was heading towards Riddle. The tornado was leaving a trail of destruction and causing everything, namely the floor, the walls and the ceiling, to turn into ice.
As the ice tornado got closer to its target, ready to do a lot of damage, Riddle suddenly spread his arms out and shouted, "Shadow Portal Teleport!" A swirling, black vortex appeared in front of Riddle and the ice tornado the ice dragon released went into it.
"I don't believe it! He made my dragon's roar attack vanished?!" Harry exclaimed in disbelief, as he watched the black vortex vanished after it absorbed his ice attack. He couldn't believe the Elemental move Riddle did, and to be honest with himself, that move was better than his Portkey Teleport spell, a spell that had a very terrible name.
"Not vanished, Harry." Riddle corrected. "More like sending it to a location to where people would first-hand see the Elemental Move you created."
Harry had a sinking feeling in his chest. "And where is this location?"
A cruel smirk appeared on Riddle's face, making the sinking feeling Harry had inside him increased. "Why, I'm sending your dragon's roar attack at Hogwarts."
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
If anyone was watching the crowd at Hogwarts, they would've seen the complete horrified looks on their faces as they were franticly looking around for the dragon's roar that was supposedly about to come at them. They were hoping, praying even, that Riddle's Elemental Move was not what he said it was, but fate had other plans.
To the crowd's horror, the same vortex they saw in Harry's screen appeared right above the Black Lake and out from it was the dragon's roar attack, which was heading towards the horrified crowd and causing the water to become very violent. The crowd scrambled to move away from the attack, but it was coming at them at a fast pace that they wouldn't have time to dodge.
"WATCH OUT!" Dumbledore shouted, quickly standing up from his seat and pulling out his wand. He had just recovered the punch he got from Susan and the Stinging Hex from Daphne and was now perfectly fine, except having a purple bruise on his face. He casted a very powerful fire spell to melt the ice tornado, but the spell didn't do the slightest bit of damage. In fact, it just brushed it off, which cause Dumbledore's blue eyes, along with the crowd's, to widen in disbelief.
Just as the ice tornado got close the crowd, a very thick ice wall suddenly appeared in front of them and the ice tornado collided into it, causing a huge shockwave to fill the air. Everyone's eyes widened even further from seeing this. Where did that ice wall come from? It didn't come from Harry since he was battling Riddle, and it sure didn't come from Dumbledore since he was still shocked that his spell was brushed off.
Which leaves the only person who uses the power of ice.
Esdeath.
The crowd looked over to see the said woman standing up from her seat and having both hands in front of her, which was probably controlling the ice wall. She had a concentrated, yet very calm, look on her pale face, and her blue eyes were sparkling with excitement.
"Professor Esdeath stopped the attack with her own ice! We're saved!" The crowd exclaimed happily, causing cheers to fill the air. However, the cheers immediately stopped when they saw Esdeath having a strain look on her face, which replaced the very calm and concentrated look. And then, to everyone's shock, including the Empire Group, she was slowly being pushed back from the dragon's roar attack and the ice wall was starting to crack a bit.
"Impossible…" Tatsumi, Akame and Leone breathed out, still shocked from what they were seeing. "Even Esdeath is having trouble blocking the dragon's roar attack." They understand Harry was training endlessly and becoming more powerful, but this was insane. The sheer power of what he learned so far, along with training his Elemental power, was making Esdeath, the strongest woman in the Capital, pushed back, and that made the Empire Group very worried.
"I never thought that would be possible." Hermione stated, also shocked from what she was seeing. "I mean, Professor Esdeath was the one who taught Harry everything about Elemental magic."
'I'm actually being pushed back from Harry's dragon roar attack?' Esdeath thought with inwardly disbelief, struggling with two things. One was to keep the very thick ice shield up and the other was not to be pushed back by the dragon's roar attack. 'I never thought it was possible for someone so young to do that. Not even my enemies or my friends can push me back. And yet, someone is pushing me back, my own son nonetheless.' A soft smile appeared on Esdeath's face. 'You really have come a long way when we first met in that chamber, Harry, and I'm proud of you for that.'
"Esdeath, this isn't the time to be thinking right now!" Tatsumi shouted, breaking Esdeath's thoughts. "We need to do something about that roar attack!"
"You're right, dear." Esdeath agreed, turning to where the Head of Ravenclaw House is. "Filius, how strong is your Shield Charm? Would it be strong enough to give me time to prepare an Elemental Move?"
Professor Flitwick looked thoughtful before answering Esdeath's question. "It's very strong if I put my magic into it. But if there's more people, then the charm will be strong enough to give you time for your Elemental Move."
"Good, then start casting now because I'm going to make the ice shield vanished." Esdeath ordered, turning her attention back to the ice wall.
"Why the hell are all women I meet are so bossy and demanding? I don't get it." Flitwick muttered to himself, as he started casting the Shield Charm with his fellow Head of Houses.
(Back with Harry and Riddle)
'I really hope everyone's okay at Hogwarts.' Harry thought, trying not to imagine all the injured people he was going to meet when he gets back. 'I hope my dragon roar attack didn't hurt them.'
"Oh, don't worry about those useless weaklings, Potter." Riddle stated, as if reading Harry's mind. "I don't see why you should care about them who had done nothing to help us when we were growing up with those filthy Muggles."
"I care about them, Riddle, because they are human beings like every person in the whole world." Harry said with firmness in his voice. "While I am pissed at the people who done nothing to help me when I was being abused, they are trying to redeem themselves and earn my forgiveness, which I'm begrudgingly accepting. I know I shouldn't forgive them, but I can't help it because my friends wouldn't want me to be consumed by hate and anger, and I'm going to listen to my friends, something that you, Riddle, don't have."
Riddle didn't say anything back but merely raised his other hand up and cast a non-verbally Bone-Breaker at Harry, which the said person swatted it away with his sword. Annoyed, Riddle cast the same spell again, but add another spell behind the first, which was the Severing Charm. Harry deflected the first spell with his sword but twisted his body to the side to dodge the second spell.
'Even though it has been five months since Quidditch had been cancelled, I still have the reflexes of the Seeker.' Harry thought, quickly regaining his stance when he saw Riddle gliding towards him with a raised sword. 'And if you want play with wandless spells, Riddle, then I'll give you wandless spells.' Harry intercepted the clash Riddle was going to do with his own sword and used his right hand to send a wandless Reductor Curse at Riddle's head, who leaned to the side to avoid the lethal spell.
"Oh?" Riddle made a surprised sound as his and Harry's blade stayed in a blade lock. "When did you learn to do wandless spells, Potter?"
"I'm not about to tell you that at all, Riddle!" Harry exclaimed, breaking the blade lock by punching Riddle in the face with his right hand, causing Riddle to release a shout of surprise and pain and stagger back. Harry then channeled his magic power onto his leg, which was now coated in ice, and gave Riddle a swift, yet very hard, kick to the chest. "Ice Super Kick!"
A gasp of pain left Riddle's mouth as he was sent flying through the ceiling, and the gasp of pain grew more when he felt his back collide ceiling after ceiling, which was creating debris and dust. Riddle tried to blend in with the shadows so that he can stop colliding ceiling after ceiling, but his powers won't respond to him and no matter how hard he tried, he can't blend into the shadows. All he could do now for the moment was to embrace the pain and wait until it's over.
Sensing Riddle's presence getting further away from him, Harry bent his knees forward a bit before doing a long jump through the holes Riddle created. As he continued to go through hole after hole, Harry was a bit appalled on how strong his ice kick was. 'How can the kick I did to Riddle caused him to go through multiple ceilings? I thought the kick would make him go through a single ceiling. Is my Elemental Form really that powerful to make my spells stronger than before?'
After jumping through the last hole and landing on a balcony that took him outside of the palace, Harry looked around to see where Riddle went, only to have a large shadow pass over him that caused him to look up in the sky. Harry's eyes widened comically when he saw a large meteor that was made of shadows coming straight at him in a fast pace, ready to crush and pulverize him from the face of the Earth.
"SHIT! GOTTA DODGE IT!" Harry shouted, quickly jumping to the nearest floating platform to avoid the shadow meteor. Knowing that the meteor was going to cause a lot of debris flying around and needed protection, the Ice Elemental summoned a very powerful and sturdy ice dome, along with a few golems that had large shields instead of battle maces.
'I hope these ice creations I made are strong enough to block the debris, otherwise I'm going to be crushed.' Harry desperately thought, just as the shadow meteor collided headfirst into the large palace and creating an earthquake.
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
"I hope your Elemental Move is done, Esdeath!" Flitwick exclaimed, sweating pouring down his old face, as he continued to hold the Shield Charm with his Head of Houses. The attack was making a huge gust of wind to fill the air, making everyone's clothes and hair bellow wildly. "I'm not sure how long me and my colleagues can hold this roar attack!"
"You and your friends can now move away, Filius," Esdeath stated, walking up to the teachers of Hogwarts. "My Elemental Move is complete." This had earned her excited mutters from the crowd to fill the air.
"Well, use the move if it's done!" Minerva yelled, sending an annoyed, yet pleading, look at Esdeath. The other teachers sent similar looks at the blue-hair woman, only Snape's look was emotionless.
Esdeath merely rolled her blue eyes at the looks before closing them and interlocking her hands together in front of her chest, right where her Imperial Arm tattoo was. Seconds later, a blue ball with a white glow in the middle appeared in-between her hands and the ball grew larger until it covered Esdeath, forcing the people around her to back away from how cold the ball was.
Having generated enough power, Esdeath's eyes shot wide open, and she released the blue ball that was surrounded her while shouting out the name of her Elemental Move, her trump card to be more precise, which gave everybody no time to react. "Mahapdama!"
It was said that the power of ice, which is a powerful element, much powerful than the other elements, was strong enough to freeze anything in the world, including space and time. That's exactly what Esdeath just did a moment ago. She froze space and time with the Imperial Arm she got when she became a general of the Empire, Demon God Manifestation: Demon's Extract.
A smirk formed on Esdeath's face when she looked around her. Everything was frozen in place. The violent water and gust of wind stopped moving, the crowd stopped talking and were still as statues, along with the champions and their hostages, and the dragon's roar attack was still as a statue. Even Harry's screen was frozen like the rest.
'I can't wait to see look on everyone's faces when they realized time had stopped and the dragon's roar attack is gone.' Esdeath thought, still having that smirk on her face, as she walked towards the frozen dragon roar attack and stopping right in front of it. 'Though, I am very annoyed that I'm using my trump card to save these weaklings. Why can't I just let the dragon's roar attack hit them?'
'Because some of these 'weaklings' are Harry's friends and brothers and sisters all but blood,' A voice replied in Esdeath's mind. 'And two weak girls, Susan and Daphne, are Harry's girlfriends. When he gets back from the Elemental Trials, how would he react when he realized that you didn't do anything to help them? That you just let the dragon's roar attack hit Harry's friends and girlfriends? Do you want to see Harry upset?'
Esdeath's smirk was replaced by a frown when she thought of that last part about Harry being upset, something that made her heart ache. She didn't want to see Harry upset and having to deal with a Dark Lord in the future, she wanted to see him happy and have a wonderful life with the two girls he loved. That's what Esdeath wanted for her son to have, a wonderful life with two girls he loves, not dealing with an insane Dark Lord who wants revenge and kill Harry. If there's any person who should deal with the Dark Lord, it should be the blue-hair woman since she was a powerful ice user and was used to killing people.
Esdeath can think about those thoughts later. Right now, she needed to focus on the main problem: The dragon's roar attack. With a small sigh, she placed a hand on the dragon's roar attack before encasing the whole thing in a large ice block. After doing that, Esdeath raised the hand she used to freeze the attack in the air and snapped her fingers with a click.
Shatter!
The ice block shattered into a million pieces, along with the dragon's roar attack, creating a large amount of ice dust and particles to fill the air. A slight dreamy look appeared in Esdeath's eyes as she stared at the ice dust and particles that was still in the air. It looked so beautiful to watch, like watching the sunset with the person you loved or looking at the full moon where it's moonlight shines upon you.
'While I do love Tatsumi with all my heart, I love seeing what my ice powers can do.' Esdeath thought, turning around and walking back to her seat to sit down, not before giving a frozen Tatsumi a kiss on the lips. 'Ice is everything to me. It's strong, beautiful and makes me calm and collected. I like everything about ice. Its coldness makes me warm; its power makes me stronger, and its emotion makes me who I am, an Ice Queen.' Thinking about that last part made a smile appeared on Esdeath's face. She liked being called a queen. 'Alright, better canceled my trump card and watch the fireworks.'
With her smile changing into a smirk once again, Esdeath leaned back into her seat and canceled her trump card, causing space and time, along with the crowd, to start moving again. Said crowd was very confused at the moment since they don't know what happened, but their confusion changed into shock and bafflement when they saw the dragon's roar attack vanish.
"W-what the?" Cedric stuttered, blinking his eyes owlishly. "What happened to the dragon's roar attack?"
"How did it disappear?" Hermione asked, also blinking her eyes owlishly. "It was fighting against the Shield Charm, and it suddenly vanished. And what was that Elemental Move Professor Esdeath used?"
"That was Esdeath's trump card, Hermione." Akame replied, looking unaffected of what happened, along with Leone and a blushing Tatsumi.
"Trump card?" Everyone who was near Akame repeated, wondering what a trump card was.
"It's basically what Khione said about the three Elemental power levels, but a Secret Art since it's a hidden ability." Leone explained, using Khione's explanation so that she doesn't explain about Imperial Arms to the entire Wizarding World. "The Elemental Move Esdeath used was a Secret Art that makes everything around her freeze."
"So, if Professor Esdeath froze the dragon's roar attack with the Elemental Move she used, how come we couldn't see it?" Hannah asked with a frown.
Before the Empire Group can answer Hannah's question, someone from the crowd shouted, "IS THAT A SHADOW METEOR HEADING TOWARDS THE LARGE PALACE AND HARRY?!"
The crowd's attention turned very sharply from hearing that, and their eyes widened in horror from seeing a shadow meteor heading towards the large palace and Harry, who had managed to notice the shadow meteor and move out of the way, much to everyone's great relief.
"Well, at least Harry won't be crushed by the meteor." Susan stated with relief in her voice.
"But he has to worry about the flying debris that will come at him." Daphne bluntly said, shattering Susan's relief.
"Not if the debris can get pass by Harry's ice dome and ice golems." Leone said with a smirk, earning confused looks from Susan and Daphne. "He summoned them the moment he landed on a floating platform."
'But will it be enough to hold?' Akame thought, not voicing out her opinion and hoped the ice creations will protect Harry from the debris.
(Back with Harry and Riddle)
'Please be strong enough to hold.' Harry thought, as he saw huge chunks of debris coming straight at him and his ice creations. 'Please be strong enough to hold.' He had been chanting those words ever since the shadow meteor crashed into the large palace, and he was hoping, praying even, that the ice creations are strong enough. If not, Harry would just jump from floating platform to floating platform to avoid the debris.
However, it seemed fate was on Harry's side because he didn't need to jump from floating platform to floating platform. In fact, he didn't need to move at all. The ice dome, along with the ice golems, managed to hold up against the huge chunks of debris, with the ice golems letting out battle cries when the debris was slowly pushing them back and the ice dome getting tiny cracks from how forceful the debris were.
A few moments later, the chunks of debris stopped heading towards Harry and his ice creations, and the Ice Elemental cautiously vanished his ice creations to see the damage the shadow meteor did and what he saw made him froze.
The large palace that was standing tall and proud has been reduced to a rubble mess, with one side being demolished and the other side barely able to stand. The corridors were either exposed out in the open or filled with rubble rocks, and the rooms was destroyed. There were still chunks of debris falling downwards, which created clouds of dust.
'I…I can't believe it…' Harry numbly thought, still staring at the destroyed palace. 'I understand Elementals are powerful…but I never imagine they would be this powerful. The books I read never told me how powerful they can be. If I got hit by that meteor, I would've gotten killed.' Harry managed to take his eyes away from the palace and looked at his right hand. 'Is Elemental powers that powerful to create something like that? A move that could destroy civilization?'
Harry didn't want to think about that last part, but as hard as he tried…he imagined it. He imagined standing on top of a hill, looking at a village that was encased in ice with its inhabitants, which caused a sick feeling to appear inside Harry. The sick feeling grew more when he imagine himself laughing insanely and killing the inhabitants who are begging for mercy.
For the first time ever, Harry was now wary of his ice powers.
Harry has the right to be wary of his ice powers because ice is not only the strongest element in the world, but very dangerous if someone with a twisted and cold heart uses its cold power. Harry doesn't want to become a murderer because of his ice powers; he wanted to use his ice powers to become the strongest Elemental in the world. That was his main dream after he got his ice powers. To not only become the strongest Wizard of them all, but the strongest Ice Elemental.
But in order to become the strongest Elemental, Harry needed to surpass the person who taught him Elemental magic. The person who he looks up to as a mother: Esdeath. Harry needed to beat Esdeath if he wanted to become the strongest Ice Elemental, but after witnessing the destruction of the palace, he was now wondering if he would be a murderer like Riddle.
'I won't be like Riddle.' Harry firmly thought, getting rid of the wariness about his ice powers and clenching his right fist. He was not going to get cold-feet of not using his ice powers after seeing the palace's destruction. 'I will use my ice powers for good intentions. I will not use it to freeze the entire world.'
"When you are in a battle, Potter, don't let your mind wander off. It's going to get you killed."
Harry's thoughts were broken from hearing Riddle's voice behind him and didn't had time to react when he felt an intense pressure that sent him crumbling to the ground. "What is this?" Harry grunted, trying to stand up.
"This is my new Elemental Move: Shadow Gravity." Riddle replied with a smirk on his face, walking over to the down Harry and stopping right in front of him. "It's a combination of my shadow powers and the Gravity Charm."
"The Gravity Charm only works on objects, not people. Even if you cast a very powerful Gravity Charm, it would still not work on people."
"That may be true, but if the charm is combined with Elemental magic and you're in the Elemental Form, then the charm will work." Riddle countered. "And the best part is, I'm not affected by the charm, meaning that I can walk around, and you cannot freeze the Elemental Move with your ice powers."
'Oh, shit! He's got me cornered like a rat!' Harry thought, trying to come up with a way to get out of this situation. If he doesn't do something, he could be subjected to the Cruciatus Curse, and he doesn't want to know how painful it could be.
"Now that I got you caught under my Elemental Move, Harry," Riddle said, a very cruel and malicious smile appearing on his face, something that actually made Harry scared, but he didn't show it on his face. "Are you ready to experience pain beyond your imagination?"
(At Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
The Wizarding World felt shivers of fear running down their spines when they saw the very cruel and malicious smile on Riddle's face.
"I very much don't like that smile on Riddle's face." Hermione said, trembling from head to toe from looking at the smile on Riddle's face.
"Me too." Susan agreed, also trembling from head to toe. The rest of the champions and hostages agreed with the red-hair girl.
"Harry's tough, he'll be fine." Leone assured the champions and hostages, even though she didn't look convinced of herself.
"Leone, we know Harry's tough, but we're concerned about what Riddle is going to do to him." Akame stated, placing her hands together and hoped her little brother would find a way to get out of Riddle's trap. 'Please find a way out, Harry.'
The Wizarding World went completely silent when Riddle spoke.
"Did you know that when an Elemental is in their Elemental Form, Harry, their Magical power greatly increases from ten to fifteen times greater?"
The Wizarding World was deeply shock by this information and judging the look of disbelief on Harry's face, he was also deeply shocked from this information, too.
"T-t-ten to fifteen times greater?!" The Wizarding World exclaimed in disbelief.
'Interesting,' Esdeath thought, having a thoughtful look on her face, which hid the shock look on her face. 'So, there is more to the Elemental Form than meets the eye. Instead of giving the Elemental a new outfit, a weapon and an increase of speed, it gives the user a large boost of Magical power that makes spells and Elemental Moves more powerful than before. But I wonder how powerful the spells would be if Harry had a wand with him?'
(With Harry and Riddle)
'My Magical power increases from ten to fifteen times greater when I'm in my Elemental Form?!' Harry thought, completely flabbergast from what he just heard. 'How can that be possible?! I looked up the Elemental Forms when I was reading the books, but they never explain how much a person's Magical power increases! I thought the Magical power would just be close to a Dueling Champion's level!' Just then, a very dreaded thought appeared in Harry's mind. 'If the Elemental Form is that powerful, then how powerful the Unforgivable Curses will be?'
"Since you so kindly thought of that question in your mind, Harry," Riddle said, as if reading Harry's mind and breaking the said person's thoughts. "Let me demonstrate how powerful the Unforgivable Curses are...by starting with the Cruciatus Curse." Still having the very cruel and malicious smile on his face, Riddle raised his left hand. "Crucio!"
Harry was going to admit, the Cruciatus Curse really hurts. It was more painful than the training he did with Esdeath. Hell, it was even more painful than the Dursleys abusing him, and it was the first time the curse was cast on him. It's like very hot knives were digging into his skin, attacking the bones in his body that's making him submit to the curse. But as the said curse continues to attack him, Harry did not scream in pain or cried out to have Riddle stop the curse. He just gritted his teeth and laid still as possible, not wanting to give Riddle the satisfaction of him being in pain.
After a few more agonizing minutes for Harry, who was still not going to give Riddle the satisfaction of him being hurt, the Cruciatus Curse was finally lifted, and Harry let out a slight uneasy breath, something that caught Riddle's attention and causing him to let out a triumph laugh.
"Oho! It looks like the Boy-Who-Lived isn't used to the Cruciatus Curse! And it's his first time being under the curse!" Riddle dramatically exclaimed, sneering heavily at the 'Boy-Who-Lived' title. "I thought that your new mother would put you under the curse when she was training you on controlling your ice powers, but it seems I was wrong. However, as much as I talk about you and your new mother, I want to ask an important question." Riddle walked over to the side and kneeled on the ground with one knee. "Did it hurt? Did the Cruciatus Curse hurt you, Harry?
"Oh, no, Riddle. That didn't hurt at all. In fact, the curse didn't even hurt at all." Harry replied, turning his head to the side to give Riddle a smirk. "All I felt was a very weak spell, and if the spell was weak, then the caster is also weak, but weaker like a Muggle."
A shock expression appeared on Riddle's face for a moment before the expression was replaced by hatred, something that was starting to amuse Harry and making him wonder if Riddle is just a hot-headed kid instead of a feared Dark Lord. Seeing the look of amusement on Harry's face caused the hatred expression to grow on Riddle's face and Riddle all but shouted after pointing his hand at Harry, "CRUCIO!"
Harry couldn't help but release a small grunt of pain when he felt the Cruciatus Curse on his body again, only this was much stronger than before, which means that negative emotions can make any type of spells more powerful than positive emotions. While Harry will admit that he has so much negative emotions in him ever since Professor McGonagall told him about other guardians that were supposed to take care of him, he still has positive emotions inside him, namely happiness and love, despite not having them for thirteen years.
Harry's thoughts about emotions came to a screeching halt when something very hard crashed onto his legs, right on the back of his kneecaps, causing two horrible cracks to fill the air and him to cry out in pain. He didn't need to take a wild guess that his legs are broken, and another cry of pain left Harry's mouth when he felt the same very hard thing crashing onto his legs again.
"Ah, the cry of pain that's leaving your mouth, Harry, is music to my ears." Riddle said with a pleasure sigh, lifting the Cruciatus Curse off Harry, who was now letting out heavy breathing as if he had just run a marathon, and vanishing the large shadow hammer he used to break Harry's legs. "It's the first time I heard you cried out in pain before, and I'm going to cherish it forever in my memory."
"What memory? You're not even a real person at all! You were just created from my mind!" Harry shouted, only to release another pain cry when Riddle forcefully stepped on his hand.
"Silence," Riddle hissed, leaning his face close to Harry's face. "Don't you dare ruin this moment for me. I don't like it when people insult my moments."
"That temper of yours, Riddle, makes me wonder if you're just a hot-headed kid instead of a fearful Dark Lord." Harry said with a mirthful smirk, showing no fear on his face when Riddle got close to him. "You would make a very fine Gryffindor instead of a Slytherin."
Riddle's reaction when Harry said Riddle would make a fine Gryffindor instead of a Slytherin was so priceless and funny that Harry was going to keep as a happy memory for the Patronus Charm. The look of pure shock, bafflement and appalled Riddle had on his face almost made Harry laugh before the looks vanished and replaced with rage, hatred and venomous, causing the Ice Elemental to become tense.
"YOU DARE SAY I WOULD MAKE A FINE GRYFFINDOR, POTTER!? ME?! THE HEIR OF SLYTHERIN?!" Riddle roared, a black aura surrounding him, only this aura was much blacker than before, almost like midnight. "JUST FOR SAYING THAT, I AM GOING TO INTRODUCE YOU IN A WORLD OF PAIN!" Riddle raised his sword up to either slash Harry's back or cut his arm off, but before the Dark Lord can do so, Harry managed to wrench his hand off Riddle's boot and grab him by the ankle, causing Riddle to become surprised. "What are you-"
"Freeze!" Harry exclaimed, pouring a lot of Magical power onto the hand that had grabbed Riddle's ankle, which was starting to become ice. It was a basic Elemental Move that can freeze small puddles or objects but can be an advance move if more magic was put into it, which can freeze large lakes or wounds. The Elemental Move can also freeze people too, and that's exactly what Harry was doing; he was freezing Riddle.
"W-what is this?" Riddle alarming asked, feeling his leg turning to ice. "Get off me!" Riddle tried to yank his leg away from Harry, but the Ice Elemental had a very tight grip on him, and the ice was traveling upwards in a fast pace, which had now reached Riddle's stomach. "Damn it, I said get off me!"
"I'm not letting go of you, Riddle!" Harry yelled, letting go of his sword and placing his other hand on Riddle's remaining leg, causing it to become ice instantly from how cold Harry's hands were. "You are going to become an ice sculpture!" With a yell, Harry channeled the rest of his power onto Riddle's body, making the entire said body, except the face, be encased in ice. Riddle couldn't move a muscle or even say an Elemental Move to free himself since the ice was causing his body to become very numbed and very cold.
"N-n-n-n-no! I-I-I c-c-c-can't l-l-let o-our f-f-fight e-e-end l-l-like t-t-t-this!" Riddle barely managed to stutter out his sentence because of how cold his body was. "I-I-I m-m-must k-kill y-y-you!"
"Do me a favor and shut the hell up, Riddle." Harry said, stopping what he was doing and glancing upwards to give Riddle a scowl. "I'm tired of hearing useless pain threats and your so-called destined to kill me. Merlin, you're just like the real one, all talk and no action. You just had your chance to kill me, but you wasted it by putting me under the Cruciatus Curse. If I had an option to kill or torture someone, I choose the former for one reason and one reason only. Just to be done with that person. Now, stay frozen like a good boy while I heal myself." Harry placed one hand on Riddle's frozen leg and poured the required magic he needed in order to freeze Riddle's face.
"I-I-I s-swear t-that I w-will-" Riddle started to say, only to be cut off when his face turned to ice, leaving his mouth part-open.
Harry let go of Riddle's leg and collapsed on the ground with a tired sigh, not noticing Riddle's Elemental Move has been turned off. Harry can tell his Elemental Move won't hold Riddle for long since he can sense the Dark Lord struggle a bit. If he wasn't so exhausted from using too magic, not being trapped Riddle's Elemental Move and not getting hit with the Cruciatus Curse, then the Elemental Move Harry did would've been perfect, even though it was perfect to begin with.
'Alright, enough thinking bad thoughts about your Elemental Move, Potter. It works and you should be proud of yourself.' Harry thought with firmness, dismissing any bad thoughts about his Elemental Move. 'You better get yourself and your legs healed up if you want to face Khione again. But first, I need to get into a comfortable position so that I can inspect at my legs. How hard can it be by turning around?'
As it turns out, turning around with broken legs was hard and extremely painful, and Harry was regretting what he was saying. It took all of Harry's willpower not to cry out in pain, but he was determined to get into a comfortable position, and he would be damned if he got bested by a pair of broken legs. After a few more struggling moments, the Ice Elemental finally got into a comfortable position, which was a sitting position.
"Whew! That took a while for me to adjust myself!" Harry breathed out, wiping sweat off his face with the back of his jacket sleeve. "I wasn't going to get bested by a pair of broken legs. I would kill myself if that happened. But enough about that, it's time to heal." It was then Harry realized an important fact, a fact that caused him to become still as a statue before he shouted out what the fact was. "How am I supposed to heal myself and my legs without a wand?!"
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
Everyone in Europe, except Esdeath, who just face-palmed her face and muttered about oblivious boys, couldn't help but sweat drop from what Harry just said, even though they did agree with him. How was he supposed to heal himself and his legs if he doesn't have a wand?
Over by where the champions and the hostages were, all of them were sweat dropping like the crowd but they had their eyes covered by their hair bangs, hiding the emotions they wanted to show.
"I totally forgot Harry doesn't have a wand." Susan said with a bit of bland in her voice.
"Me too." Daphne agreed in a blank tone.
"Is there anything Harry can do anything to heal his legs?" Hermione asked with worry in her voice. "He won't be able to fight without healing them."
"Well, there is one thing that Harry can do to heal his legs," Akame said, getting everyone's attention. "But doing this option is going to be very, very painful and I'm not sure if Harry can handle it."
"What's the option, Akame?" Hannah asked.
Akame didn't reply to the question but had a look of hesitation on her face, which greatly surprised Tatsumi and Leone. They had never seen such a look on her face before, and they were starting to get nervous about AKame's answer.
'I'm going to regret saying this.' Akame thought, releasing a deep sigh before giving everyone her answer. "If Harry wants to heal his legs, he's got to cut them off with an axe."
"WHAT?!" The champions and hostages shouted.
"Harry can't do that!" Hermione shrieked, making people around her wince. "There has to be another way!"
"But it's the only option Harry has, Hermione." Leone said, trying to sooth the bushy-hair girl. "I don't like the option, but unless Harry has a healing Elemental Move, he has no choice but to cut his legs off." Leone's words didn't sooth Hemione at all but made her more worried than before. 'I'm really hoping it doesn't come to that. I just hope Harry can figure out how to heal his legs.'
(Back with Harry)
'Come on, Potter! Think! How do you heal your legs without a wand?' Harry thought, crossing his arms over his chest and closing his eyes, while sporting an intense look of concentration on his face. 'I know I can use wandless magic freely when I'm in my Elemental Form – which I'm quite good at, if I say so myself – but I don't like the idea of doing a wandless healing spell on my legs. You never know when something can go wrong while healing yourself with wandless magic.'
Harry continued to stay in the position he was in for the next few minutes, trying to figure out how to heal his legs without using a wandless healing spell. Despite him being good with wandless magic, he did not want to risk using the said magic on his legs; it could lead to disasters that Harry didn't want to think about. Yet, he did think about the disasters, which the first one was not being able to walk again. Normally, Harry wouldn't be concerned about this fact since Madam Pomfrey can heal pretty much anything, but as he was in an unknown place and doesn't know when he would go back to Hogwarts, he was hesitated to use a wandless healing magic on his legs. He wanted legs to walk, not spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.
The second disaster, which this one was Harry's main concern thought, was being disqualified from the Elemental Trials and that is what Harry fears above all else. If he did get disqualified from the Elemental Trials, all the hard work he had done over the last four months – the training with Esdeath to use ice powers, spending much time in the library to look up all kinds of spells, practicing the said spells with Susan and Daphne and learning much about his family and Heritage – would go to waste. Everything Harry did and learned would've gone down the drain like water, and that was something Harry could not afford at all.
Harry's pride and reputation will be destroyed if he gets disqualified and he would never hear the end of it by Malfoy.
With great determination he never had before, Harry began thinking furiously on how to heal his legs. He couldn't do it the Muggle way since the legs aren't dislocated and he couldn't put casts on them since he was going to be moving around. He couldn't even put blocks of ice on his legs because, while the ice blocks can heal the legs, the process was very slow and by the time it heals, Riddle would be out of Harry's Elemental Move.
After a few more minutes of thinking, Harry was starting to realize there might not be any way to heal his legs, which was causing him to panic inwardly. If he can't heal his legs, he can't continue the Elemental Trials. There was one idea he had but Harry immediately shot it down when he realized how painful it was going to be. The idea was to summon an axe, chop the legs off and replaced the human legs with ice legs. It was a great idea, but the process of doing it was very painful and that was the reason why Harry shot the idea down.
'Urgh, I'm completely stumped!' Harry thought, releasing a heavy sigh when he ran out of ideas before falling backwards to face the sky with a glum look on his face. There was nothing he could do to heal his legs. He was going have to face defeat for the first time in his life. He didn't like it. He didn't like accepting defeat. Defeat was for the weak. 'I guess this is it for me. Everything I just did in this place will be for nothing and I'm going to be a laughingstock for the rest of my life, all because I couldn't heal my legs.' Harry closed his eyes and let out another sigh. 'I just wish there was something I can do to heal my legs. It's not like I can just vanished the broken bones and replace them with ice bones.'
Just when Harry opened his mouth to call out Khione to end the Elemental Trials, he immediately paused when he repeated his last thoughts into his head.
"It's not like I can just vanished the broken bones and replace them with ice bones."
"It's not like I can just vanished the broken bones and replace them with ice bones."
"It's not like I can just vanished the broken bones and replace them with ice bones."
"THAT'S IT! I KNOW WHAT TO DO!" Harry shouted with a shark-like grin on his face, as he launched himself up into a sitting position. "I'll just vanish the bones in my legs and replace them with ice bones! That way, I don't have to cut off my legs! It's a genius plan!"
(Back at Hogwarts; With the Crowd)
"A genius plan indeed, Harry!" Leone exclaimed, as she clapped along the crowd, impressed with Harry's idea. It was better than Akame's idea.
"But how is Harry going to vanish the bones in his legs?" Tatsumi asked, as he stopped clapping.
"A Vanishing Spell, Tatsumi." Hermione replied. "Vanishing Spells are the only spells to vanish something entirely, like a snail or the contents of eating food."
"That's cool, but isn't Vanishing Spells taught in Transfiguration?"
"That is indeed correct, Mr. Tatsumi," Minerva said, hearing Hermione's and Tatsumi's conversation. "Vanishing Spells are taught in Transfiguration, but Vanishing Spells can be used in Charms, Defense and Healing and Harry will have to use the last category to vanish the broken bones in his legs." A frown appeared on Minerva's face. "But as Harry has no wand upon him, he will need to vanish the broken bones with wandless magic."
"You make it sound like it's a bad thing." Leone stated with a frown of her own.
"That's because it is a bad thing, Miss Leone," Madam Pomfrey snapped, also hearing the conversation. "Despite Harry being good at wandless magic when he's in his Elemental Form, he cannot pull off a wandless healing spell. Doing wandless magic is difficult to learn and if not done correctly, volatile or unexpected results could happen to the caster. It's one of the reasons why we have to accustom a wand at all times, so we don't have any accidents."
"Well, you're going have to lecture Harry about not using wandless magic when he gets back, Madam Pomfrey." Cho spoke up, getting everyone's attention.
"And why do you say that, Miss Chang?" Madam Pomfrey asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Because Harry is already vanishing the broken bones in his legs with wandless magic and his hands are glowing green." Cho replied, pointing towards Harry's screen. Everyone turned around sharply to look at Harry's screen and saw Harry doing exactly what Cho pointed out: Using wandless magic to vanish the broken bones in Harry's legs with both hands traveling downwards, which said hands were glowing green.
"That foolish boy! Does he not realized the danger of using wandless healing spells on himself?" Madam Pomfrey fumingly asked, giving Harry's screen a fierce glare. "When he gets back, I am so going to pound the knowledge of not using wandless healing spells on yourself. I will make sure its knowledge is in his head."
The crowd at Hogwarts couldn't help but wince at that threat, especially the Hogwarts students since they had been at end of the school nurse's wrath before. They were not sure to either defend Harry or back away from the school nurse.
(Back with Harry)
'It's working. I can't believe it's actually working.' Harry thought with sheer disbelief but didn't show on his face, which was sporting a very great deal of concentration, as he moved his glowing green hands down on his legs very slowly and very carefully. 'But I'm going to admit, this is very hard and taking so much time.'
This was the most intense and very risky situation Harry ever had in his life and one wrong move could cost him his legs. If Harry was going to vanish the broken bones in his legs, he needed to do it slowly and carefully. He started on the kneecaps first since he didn't want to start at the bottom before moving downwards and as he continued his work of vanishing the bones, sweat was building up on his face before dripping down.
It wasn't long until Harry finally managed to vanish the last of the bones in his legs, causing them to become rubber, something Harry was familiar with in Second year after he won the Quidditch match against Slytherin. But he doesn't have time to remember past memories since he needed get his legs working and take out Riddle.
Taking a momentarily pause to catch his breath and wipe the sweat off his face, Harry raised his hands up, channeled his ice powers on the said hands that caused them to glow icy blue, memorized the bones he needed for his legs and placed the glowing hands on his legs before saying two words and two words only.
"Ice Bones."
