Dimension 73, United Earth Confederacy
Inside another dimension where the American Confederacy sided with the Terran Empire's Time Travelers to win their Civil War, Section 31 makes it's first attempt at exploring another dimension.
They are instantly captured and interrogated.
Eventually the United Earth Confederacy learns about the Borg and decided to send Section 31 home before they lead the invaders right to their dimension.
"Well, that was not very helpful." The Section 31 Agent remarked sarcastically.
"The Terran Empire helped the American Confederacy conquer their Milky Way Galaxy, I'm surprised they didn't kill us. Perhaps we should try the next dimension for better luck." The other Section 31 Agent summarized.
"How many dimensions can we explore before Skynet loses to the Borg?" The Section 31 Agent asked back suspiciously.
"Based on the last Borg Attack, Skynet's Planetary Headquarters has already been destroyed." The other Section 31 Agent summarized.
The Section 31 Captain quickly ordered the jump into another universe.

Current Location: Unexplored Dimension
Their first objective was to check out the status of the Planet Earth.
Discovering Primitive 20th Century Space Technology didn't cheer them up.
Apparently Humanity was still recovering from an Electro Magnetic Pulse Accident that knocked out their Computers and sent everyone into pandemonium.
Their Planetary Scans showed most of the World Governments were dealing with City Riots and Food Shortages.
Not much help fighting off the Borg, their entire Solar System was completely defenseless.
Searching other dimensions revealed a disturbing pattern, Humanity almost destroyed itself in several realities.
An Abandoned City reclaimed by nature, beaming down to investigate had been tiresome to say the least.
"Plague Aftermath, I found their Medical Records." Their Medical Officer explained.
"Medical Scans of the Planetary Environment?" The Away Team Solider asked instantly checking everyone for signs of illness.
Section 31 wanted results, the Skynet Terminators were failures.
The 29th Century Reverse Engineered the Skynet Terminators against the Borg and now Starfleet was collaborating with Skynet to save themselves.
The Machines were taking over and Section 31 wanted another option.
Regrettably the only realities they found were primitive or power hungry reflections of themselves.
Another Planet Earth, only this time with Nuclear Winter added to the mix.
"Survivors?" Their Captain asked hopefully.
"Fallout Shelters, bloody looks like World War Three just ended down there." The British Voice reported back.
"Perhaps the Eugenics Wars just ended here." Somebody speculated.
The Command Staff exchanged disturbed glances at each other.
"So we jump forward in time and hope for the best." They decided.
DY-100 Class Starships were spreading across the Milky Way Galaxy.
Unknown Dimension, 100 years later.
The First Contact with the Vulcans never happened.
Warp Engines were never created and Humanity was still living underground.
"This makes no sense, even rebuilding their cities doesn't take this long." The Captain says in sudden disbelief.
"I'm detecting weapon discharges on the surface, it looks like they're still fighting over supplies down there." The Tactical Officer points out.
"Somebody needs to go down there and investigate what happened." The Section 31 Captain decided instantly.
Refugee Camps and Reverse Engineered Time Machines.
The XCV-330 Enterprise was already under construction.
It seems the American Confederacy restarted the American Civil War from the future.
The United States of America was taken completely off-guard by their Interstellar Invasion and several factions were fighting among themselves.
The Temporal Cold War had obviously prevented Starfleet Command from being built, also their First Contact with the Vulcans never happened.
The Earth Coalition was still dealing with the Temporal Cold War getting in their way.
The recent insanity of the Soviet Union Invading Russia with the American Confederacy demonstrated how desperate everyone was trying to change the past, even if nobody understands why they were doing it in the first place...
Why would anyone want the Soviet Union restored?
Political Power Struggle to Build NX Class Starships before Europe got the same Blueprints from the future.
A Political Plot to Replace Earth Governments with New Military Empires hopeful to defeat the Klingons and the Romulans.
The European Hegemony was unsure why the Americans and the Russians were both Fighting Civil Wars with Time Travelers seeking to overthrow them.
The European Hegemony just wanted to Defend Humanity from the Klingons and the Romulans.
They didn't really expect Political Power Struggles to get in their way, so they basically stranded themselves inside the past and got interrogated.
The United Nations had no clue what to do with them, they were homeless refugees from the future and more Time Travelers were hunting them.
American Republic Fleet
"Temporal Displacement Completed, Deploying Troop Transports to the Planet Earth."
The American Confederacy and the American Republic were both repeating the American Civil War to change the past, either side was really getting anywhere.
Both sides were now stranded inside the 21st Century trying to defeat each other.
The Current American Government was stuck in the middle of the entire American Civil War being fought by the Time Travel Fanatics rebuilding their own kingdoms.
It sounds insane and one hundred years later, nobody was even close to stopping the madness from continuing.
Their only advantage was the Time Travel Fanatics had new factions arriving to disrupt their plans from the future, apparently they had bigger enemies waiting to reshape the past for themselves.
The American Confederacy had made 40 Failed Invasion Attempts and somehow the Followers of Abraham Lincoln continued to defeat them.
The 32nd Century left a Power Vacuum, Starfleet was still rebuilding itself and Humanity was fighting among themselves without their protection.
Unfortunately the American Union Troops chased them into the past to defend their own history.
The restart of the Temporal Cold War brought Human Historians to debate what was the best option to save themselves.
So the Second American Civil War was going nowhere.
The 21st Century was Reverse Engineering Time Travel to defend itself and everyone was waiting around to see if their future got better because of it.
Captain Zareh of the Emerald Chain stared at his new superiors doubtfully.
Tarah and her Andorian Time Travel Supporters were helping the Emerald Chain rebuild themselves within the past.
Their goal was to ensure the Emerald Chain Enslaved Humanity before the United Federation of Planets got created.
One problem was they needed new technology to survive without their Warp Engines and get ahead of everyone else.
The second problem was the Earth Coalition that replaced the Federation within the new timeline.
Several Earth Governments were Reverse Engineering Future Technology and fighting over resources.
Instead of one enemy, the Emerald Chain found Planetary Civil Warfare Chaos.
The Planet Earth was defending itself from time travelers before they even arrived.
