Chapter 3

Black. Ben can see only black. The feeling of liquid surrounding him. He couldn't open his eyes, the pain would just force them closed. Liquid filled to above his head. He panicked. 'I'm gonna drown!' He thought to himself. However he realised that there was a mask over his mouth and nose allowing him to breath so he calmed slightly. All Ben could remember was the crack in space open up and that he was pulled in. 'Where's Gwen and Kevin and Rook?' Ben thought before drifting unconscious.

Some time later.

Ben slowly awoke. The pain from before was all but gone. 'How long was out I for?' he thought to himself. "His brain activity has increased." A voice echoed but distorted by the liquid. "He will be awake soon." The voice sounded feminine. Ben was very confused as to who that was. It wasn't a voice he recognised at all. Now that Ben realised he was feeling OK and not really in pain so he squinted his eyes. However he still couldn't see much in this strange blue tinted liquid.

"Decompression activation sequence initiated!" He suddenly felt his weight return and the force of gravity punished him for it. His eyes fluttered open and were met by a blinding light."He seems to have taken no damage from the event collapse permanently. Thank Kami for these healing tanks." A woman with strange blue hair stated. "You really gave us a scare there kid."

Ben looked at the woman with a confused expression. "Where am I?" He asked. "What is this place?"

The woman just smiled and said "Well your at Capsule Corp of course."

"Capsule what?"

"Don't tell me you haven't heard of Capsule Corp"

"Should I have," Ben says with a smile.

The woman looked friendly enough and handed him his clothes. Ben felt panicked all of a sudden as he just realised he was in his undies out in front of this random woman. He grabbed the clothes and quickly put them on. He looked at his wrist. 'Yep, Omnitrix still attached.' he then sighed with relief. "Sorry by the way. We couldn't take your watch off. We tried everything and believe me that's saying something. So if it doesn't work anymore I'll happily pay for a new one."

"It's OK. It's waterproof. Plus even if it didn't work I couldn't accept especially since you've helped me out,"

"Well aren't you a sweetie, I'm bulma by the way."

Bulma is a very smart woman. She can guess that this kid is from not around here. When Gohan and Piccolo turned up with a tennager she was quite confused. However after Gohan had explained what happened she can deduce that this kid was from another universe. It's not like she isn't aware of other universes. Gohan explained to her that a purple orb opened up in the sky and the kid just fell out of it before it closed again.

"Thank you for helping me but I best be going now." Ben said to Bulma. She looked at him with an analytical gaze. "OK but where will you go, you're not from around here are you?". He just nodded his head and then left for the door. "Sorry, I can't let you leave without a full medical check up." Bulma said quite sternly.

"Apologies but I have to find my friends."

"Well travelling a place you don't know might not be the safest idea"

"Trust me, I can take care of myself."

"I'm sure you can but I can help. Plus I have some friends who want to meet you. They brought you here and word sort of spread around so all my friends will be over soon. Also you fell out of the sky from a portal. Some of them don't trust you. Well one person doesn't trust you."

Ben pondered what she had just said. He should at least say thanks to the people who saved his life. Plus from the looks of it, the Omnitrix is still rebooting after being exposed to strange energy so it would help to have some local knowledge. "OK I'll stay."

Laterer

The small afare seems to have turned into a big get together. At the party Ben said thank you to the gentleman called Gohan and a strange slug man called Piccolo. Piccolo seemed to be an alien but everyone seemed to not be surprised so he just rolled with it. It's not like Ben's never seen an alien before. Gohan then introduced him to his mother and father. They were apparently close friends with Bulma since they were children. Bulma appeared to be talking to the woman named Chi Chi. He was confused by this name but decided not to question it. Bulma told Ben about her husband Vegeta and how he was a martial artist the same as Goku, Gohan's father, a peculiar man who kept staring at him throughout the party. He could tell immediately that Vegeta was the one who didn't trust him. Although Ben couldn't blame him. He did fall from the sky and hadn't explained what happened. Suddenly Goku runs up to Ben and starts lifting his arms and squeezing his muscles. Bulma came running over screaming. "WILL YOU STOP THAT HE IS NOT SOME STRONG FIGHTER!" Bulma then smacked him round his head.

"Ow Bulma I wasn't checking his power or anything." Ben looked at the odd fellow laughing. "Hey can you fight me" Ben starred in bewilderment.

"NO GOKU HE IS JUST A TEENAGER" Chi Chi said joining the rant."What if you hurt…"

"It's all right I'll give him a fight."

A/N: Ah a lovely cliff hanger to end on. Don't you just love those. Don't worry tho as the next chapter may be out later today if I finish it and if not it will definitely be out tomorrow.
