Aclaration: Blademon's sword is based on the sword of the daylight from Trullhunters.
In a cabin in the woods, a single person living there opened his computer to activate a program. The person was a male, wearing a muscle shirt with no sleeves, and a pair of training plans. His long, black hair hair tied into a high pony tail. A pale face with a smirk on it. His arms had big muscles, clear in view with his choice of shirt.
This man's name, was Yukio Oikawa.
The smile on his face streched even further as the laptop came to life and the program started running. An image started to show in the screen, slowly, it was covered a bit with static, but it got clearer after a while.
"Blademon," Oikawa greeted. "It's good to hear from you."
"Sorry I haven't been able to communicate with you, sir," The hooded Digimon apologized. "The brat kept me busy..." He said with a low growl.
Oikawa chuckled at the Digimon's attitude. "Now, now, have some patience my friend," He said, with a mock-scolding tone on his voice. "He is a key place for our plans. He is the only one that can plant the Control Towers in the Digital World... For now at least."
Blademon closed his eyes in resignation, wanting nothing more than to ran his sword through the so-called Emperor's chest. To watch him squirm and die like the worm he was. But if his master, his one and true liege, want him alive, he couldn't do much. "I understand, sir," He said. "Now, I guess you wanted a report?"
"Of course," He chuckled, resting his head on his knuckle, his demeanor almost lazy. "How is the boy doing with the creation of the towers?"
"Up until a few days, everything was fine," Blademon confessed, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "But something unexpected has happened."
Oikawa's eyebrows arched as he heard that. "Really?" He asked, his tone sounding curious and annoyed at hearing something was deterring his plans. "And what is that?"
"Digidestined, sir," Blademon answered, his tone growing angry at thinking of those interruptions.
Oikawa's eyes narrowed for a moment and he felt an incredible amount of hate bubbling in his chest. "Digidestined? They shouldn't be a problem, Blademon." His tone has changed; were before was an amused voice, now came a scornful one, filled with hate, anger, and annoyance. "With the Control Towers they shouldn't have the ability to evolve," his eyes narrowed even further, "and how can they even get to the Digital World?" He demanded to know, in a cold tone.
A sensing of dread filled the whole cabin, as a white aura surrounded the man. It slowly started to change to a dark black color with red edges. He kept his rage cool, but at the first chance he gets, he will took out some of the trees surrounding his house.
Blademon noticed the change on the man and gulped. "A-apparently it's a new generation... Of sorts, sir," The Digimon answered. "They all have the same Digivice as the boy. And, for what I know, they found objects similar to Digi-eggs that allow them an alternative way of Digivolution -- bypassing the Control Towers."
Oikawa took a deep breath and dissipated his aura. His rage still bubbled, but he bottled it up to use it in his training session. "That still leaves the question of how they got those Digivices... We both know how the boy got it, after all. And it was less than common." He mumbled.
"I'll rip the answers out of them if that pleases you, sir," Blademon said, eyea glistening with excitement of fighting the Digidestined. "But that's not all... There's someone else..." He growled, gnashing his teeth at the thought.
"Oh really?" Oikawa's eyebrows didn't stopped rising during this entire conversation. His subordinate continuing to giving surprise after surprise. "Who is it? Must be someone really unpleasant if it gets you like that," He said.
Blademon took a deep breath to calm his rage. He will have his chance to destroy the boy soon, if the brat that called himself Emperor was to be trusted. "The Anomaly, Killua Zoldyck."
Oikawa's eyes widened at the news. He thought his Control Towers would stop the Anomaly from being called again. But it seems he found a way to come back to this world. He clenched his teeth and his fist, an unmeasurable amount of hate bubbling in his chest, as thoughts of a white haired boy invaded his mind. The same boy that appeared in his mind when he learned to use Nen. "I see..." He growled. Then he let himself smile, a twisted, sadistic smile. "Then your time has come, hasn't it, Blademon? To enact revenge!"
Blademon'a teeth could be seen from beneath his hood, all of them forming a bloodthirsty grin. "Yes! He'll pay soon!" He growled. "And I might have a chance to fight him soon!"
Oikawa returned the grin. "Make sure you do," He said. "Goodbye for now, my friend~"
"Yes, my liege!" The connection was cut and Yukio Oikawa was, again, alone in his house on the woods.
The man got up and walked to a drawer that was nearby. His thoughts varying from everything his pawn told him: New Digidestined, and the Anomaly coming back. The brat would have to acceleration the plans to plant Control Towers in all the Digital World if he wants his ambitions to become true.
He opened one of the cabinets and took out an object, a small device that fit his palm. "Oh, Blademon, you utter fool..." He couldn't help but chuckle... As he gripped the Digivice on his hand, the same model ised the five years ago. "You don't even realize who you're enemy truly is... But you'll learn soon enough." He muttered to no one in particular. His black eyes changing to a deep blue for a moment.
In the computer room, all of the In-trainings, plus the partners of T.K and Kari, and one Killua Zoldyck were waiting for the Digidestined to arrive.
While the Digimon waited on the top of some shelves, Killua hid behind a shelf while reading a book, and having his Zetsu up. When Miss Kamiya asked Killua about school, he explained he couldn't go because he couldn't read the language -- that and he technically doesn't exist in this world. When she heard that, the matriarch of the family gave him a book with basic Japanese characters with images to accompany them, that way he could associate the words with the image.
It was a pre-school book. But Killua didn't mind since he was starting from the bottom.
He felt footsteps coming to the lab and closed the book with a sigh, knowing that now the time for reading was done, and the time for exploration has come.
Davis peeked his head through the door and looked around. "Are you guys here?"
"DAVITH!" Demiveemon jumped to his partner's head in an improvised hug.
The boy grunted at the unexpected weight on his head, but smiled nonetheless when he grabbed his partner and held him in the air. "Hey there, buddy!"
Poromon and Upamon jumped excitedly when they saw them coming. "Is Yolei with you?!" The feathery ball asked.
"And Io- I mean Cody?" Upamon asked, bouncing around like a beach ball.
Kari smiled gently at the two. "They'll be coming soon, don't worry!" She said.
Killua straightened himself and got out of his hiding spot. "Finally, I thought you guys would never come out," He groaned.
T.K chuckled. "Must be nice to not have to attend," He said.
Killua sighed. "You would think," He said. "But it's boring as heck..."
The door of the lab opened again and revealed a smiling Yolei, with a market bag in hand. "Sorry for the wait!" She called. "I picked a little something for you guys~" She said, showing the bag to the Digimon.
"What's that?" Poromon asked, floating to get a better look at the bag on his partner's hands.
"Oh just some things I got from my familiy's store," She said, placing down the bag. "A few snacks for my partner and friends~"
T.K placed his fist on his open hand. "Right, you mentioned that you work at your family's market," He said. "So you receive these things free?"
"Normally no," She mumbled. "But I worked my ass off last summer in the market, so I got some free passes to get things out."
Demiveemon bit on a chocolate bar... With the wrapping on and gagged in disgust. "Bleh, this thing taste like metal," He said.
"Because you need to take out the wrapping," Patamon explained, helping him out by taking the plastic out. "Now."
And like that, Demiveemon bit down and lost himself in a world of taste. The same with the other two In-trainings once they tasted the rest of the snacks, losing themselves to the in the flavor and eating like animals.
Except for Gatomon, who sweatdropped at the more immature Digimon ravishing the food. "It's like watching a car accident..." She mumbled; it was horrible, but you can't look away.
Killua looked at Yolei with a raised eyebrow. "Where's Cody?" He asked.
"Still eating his lunch. He doesn't look like it, but he's a pretty picky eater," She said with a sigh. "What's worse is that the stubborn idiot said that he won't get up off his seat until he isn't finished!"
Davis scowled and placed his hands on his hip. "Well he better hurry up," He said. "We have an Emperor's butt to kick!"
Cody rolled the small tomato on his plate with a look of disgust on his face. Nevermind that he already felt full, but he disliked the taste of the red fruit.
His teacher watched him with a patient smile. "Cody, you don't have to finish it all."
The boy frowned and just continued to roll the detestable fruit around. "It's bad to waste food..." He mumbled.
He raised his fork and pressed it on the fruit, only for it to split in half.
Cody's eyes twitched. Now he had to deal with two of them.
"My brother and Sora both have practice today, and Izzy is busy with some extra-classes so they won't be coming today," Kari said.
Yolei smirked. "So it's only us, the new kids huh?" She asked, feeling excited to go on their first oficial adventure.
"Not exactly, since we're going too," T.K said.
Davis has booted the computer while they talked. "Well, the gate's open, so now we waited for the little guy," He said.
"Speaking of which," Killua spoke and walked to the computer on the left side from the one they used. "I want to try somewhere," He said, booting it up.
T.K looked at him with curiosity. "What is it?" He asked, looking at what the white haired boy was doing.
Killua waited until the computer was fully on to answer. "An experiment of sorts," he said and turned to the kids with the new Digivices. "Can you guys lend me a hand?"
Davis narrowed his eyes, still thinking of the boy as a treat to his future relationship with Kari. "In what?"
"I want one of you to try and open the gate in this computer," He said, pointing to the computer without the port.
Naturally, everyone was skeptical. "But Killua," Kari said. "That doesn't have a gate to use."
"That's what I want to try," He said. "Hear me out: We know the Emperor has the same Digivice as Davis, Yolei and Cody. So he must have a gate to use," He explained. "It's obviously not this one since we would have noticed if another student here went to the Digital World. So he must be entering from another place using his Digivice. Which leaves us with two options: Either the computer he's using also has a Digiport, or his Digivice is the one opening the gate, and can be done with any computer connected to the network."
Hearing the reasoning from the boy, it make sense for something like that to happen. If the key was truly the Digivice then maybe it could work.
Yolei, always the one to try new things, stepped forward and pointed her Digivice to the screen. "Okay, let's try, Digiport Open!" She exclaimed.
At first nothing, but then the same program used in the main computer appeared, with the message that showed that the door was open and that it could be used.
"It worked!" Kari beamed and turned to the white haired boy. "You were right Killua!"
"Good thinking!" T.K complimented him.
Killua shrugged with a sly smirk. "It was kinda obvious, though."
Davis was gnashing his teeth, giving his back to the group. Again the white haired prick proved to be better than him, and Kari was complimenting him. GODDAMMIT!
"But!" Killua said. "This shouldn't change anything. For now let's continue gathering here to go to the Digital World. And no one here should go alone," He told them.
"Seems fair," T.K said, nodding at the idea.
Yolei sat down with a sigh. "Well, now that that's out of the way, we should see something while we wait for Cody," She said typing on the computer. "How about the news?"
Everyone gathered around her. "Sounds good, something interesting?" Kari asked as she turned her attention to the monitor.
"Weeeeeell..." She drawled and clicked on a video about a recent celebrity in Tokyo.
The footage showed a pretty reporter woman in front of an apartment complex. "Today we have the honour of having an interview with the child genius, Ken Ichijouji, after his recent victory in a programing contest."
The video showed a voy with purple hair reaching his neck, wearing a grey school uniform. He turned around showing his purple eyes and a gentle smile. "There were so many pros here, I feel flattered that they invited me."
Killua's eyes narrowef the moment he saw the boy. There was something... off about him. Like he was putting more of a persona than being honest about his answer, and he could feel the hidden sarcasm on his statement. 'Maybe he's just some big headed prick that thing he's about the rest... Wow I just described myself in the Hunter Exams.' That last thought make him wince in self awareness. He looked at his friends but they all seemed awed by the boy's achievement, so he shoved his thoughts dowm.
The reporter continued. "According to the host of the contest, Ichijouji's program wasn't only made in record time, but it was also the most effective one he's seen in all of his years as an investigator," She said.
"It really surprised me," An old professor, the host of the contest. "I had to confirm that it was made by a thirteen year old," The man said.
Killua was utterly unimpressed by the boy's achievement, now listening half-heartedly. He idly noticed that Cody has already arrived and was holding Pagumon up as a way to greet him.
"Ken has also played against twenty adults, all proficient in chess, and won, at the same time!" She said, showing a tournament with the boy going from table to table playing with the other players. "He is also a math genius, solving large problems in a few seconds," Ken was showed in front of a large board, solving huge mathematical ecuations. "But his mind isn't the only thing impressive."
A Judo tournament was shown, with Ken beating an adult way bigger than him with a shoulder throw. "He is also black belt in Karate, Judo, and Aikido," Then a football game with pros. "And it's also the captain for the football team on his school," The boy made an imprecise kick mid-air that lead the team to victory.
Davis gulped. He never did something like that. "Okay, t-that was impressive."
Killua couldn't help but agree. Even if he wasn't all that impressed by his achievement, he couldn't deny that the boy did seemed to be a genius. But he didn't make comparations between himself and him. Killua knew he could do better, and he wasn't as insecure as he was back in the exams -- Were he downplayed all that the other aspiring Hunters did.
The reporter was now standing next to a kind-looking woman, and a robust man in a suit. "Here are the parents of the genius," She turned the mic to them. "Tell me, did you gave him some special attention?"
The woman blushed and smiled. "No, we simply raised him as a normal kid."
The man scratched the back of his head sheepishly "It's surprising, honestly, it's like a simple chicken put the egg of an eagle or something." He said, blushing as well.
Cody, who remained silent to not interrupt the documental, spoke with admiration as the image of the boy genius appeared again on screen. "It really is amazing that someone like that around our age exists."
Killua snickered. "About time you decided to make yourself known," He said, making the boy laugh nervously. He also snickered at the fact the boy was awed by another person after all the things he saw the other day.
Kari turned to Cody. "Have you heard anything else about him?" She asked, curious about the famous boy.
Cody shrugged. "Beyond news... Nope, nothing."
Yolei turned off the computer and crossed her arms over her chest. "I can make computer programs too, why is no one interviewing me?" She asked in indignation.
"Well... He does sports too," Davis pointed out.
"Those are second rated things," She mumbled, looking at the side.
"Take that back!" Davis said, snapping at her.
"Nah!" She said, turning to glare back.
Killua got between the two. "Enough, both of you."
Yolei grumbled under her breath. She had actually kind of a crush in Ken Ichijouji, but she also considered herself a rival to him, striving to surpass his intelligence.
"Can we go now?" Gatomon asked, while the Rookie and In-trainings lay on their backs, completly stuffed.
"Yeah sure!" Davis said, taking out his blue Digivice. "Let's go!"
Ken Ichijouji, the boy genius, walked the usual route to his... house. That place was not his home, it was only a house. Passing by a bar, he stood on the sides, waiting for the traffic light to change so he can continue on his way, until he felt something on his feet.
He looked down to see a dog, a small cute puppy, liking his shoes. The canine looked up and barked happily at him, wagging his tail.
Ken's eyes narrowed. "You're soiling my shoes," He said, with a cold tone.
Without any mercy, he kicked the dog away. The poor creature was sent flying and landed on his paw, twisting it. The doggy whimpered and limped away.
Ken smirked; that's what the dirty fleabag deserved. Now without interruptions, he reached the apartment complex he was forced to live in to keep up appearence.
"I'm home," He had to call to the other two individuals living in the house. His so-called parents.
The mother was in the kitchen, preparing something. "Hello dear, did you have a nice day?"
"Yeah," He had to respond, while he preferred nothing more than to never speak with the woman.
She set down something on the table and continued talking, but Ken continued on his way; he had more important matters than whatever that simpleton has planned. "I have to go to work, but I leave you something to-" She heard the door closing and she sighed. "-Eat."
She supposed he only had a lot of homework. Since his professors could barely teach him anything by this point, they could only give him more homework than normal so he would be occupied.
From the top of a branch, the Empero smiled. His goggles showing him the signal of a Digimon hiding on a bush. "Oh, how cute, he thinks he can escape."
He jumped off and landed behind the Elecmon. He's been hunting this particular breed since he heard of some place called Primary Village, but such place has been harder to found than he thought, even when he ordered his Generals to look dor them.
"So... Are you going to tell me where that village is?" He asked, brandishing his whip.
The electric Digimon whimpered in fear as the human towered over him.
The Emperor rolled his eyes. "Another whimpering creature. Pathetic," He raised his whip and started striking the poor Digimon into submission.
The Elecmon, in an amazing show of defiance and will, gathered enough energy to try and zap the Emperor.
The kid saw the blast and leaned back to dodge it, giving the Digimon enough time to get up and escape, even with an injured back. He chuckled. "When will they learn? Escaping is useless." He brought his hand to his mouth and whistled, from the trees a Tuskmon appeared, eyes glowing red and Dark Ring on his arm. "Mind giving me a rid?"
The dinosaur lowered his head and the Emperor climbed on and the two started pursuing the Digimon.
He didn't make it far enough. The Emperor and his slave soon reach him, and from his place in the Tuskmon's head the boy lashes his whip out. It wrapped around the Digimon and the Emperor lift him from the ground and slammed him against it various times.
Once it was unconscious, he smiled. "Another one, for my collection."
He grabbed the Digimon and took it to one of his favorite places: An arena, created by himself. Since the insolent Digimon dared to try and attack him, he won't put a Dark Ring on him, not yet anyway. He was going to see him squirm first.
The Tuskmon set him in the top of the coliseum and the Emperor opened a trap door on the ceiling, kicking the Elecmon in and walked to his throne at the top to watch the spectacle.
"Welcome back, my lord," Blademon said, while Wormmon just stayed at the side, looking away from the arena.
The Emperor grunted in acknowledgement to the greeting and sat down, snapping his fingers.
The captured Elecmon walked out, his back hurting, and from the other side another Elecmon came out. One with a dark ring.
The possessed Elecmon attacked the injured one brutally, knocking him around and shocking him constantly with his attacks.
From the forest surrounding the stadium, just behind the Emperor's throne, a group of three Gotsumon watched this awful event happening. "He got another one," The first one said.
"Once he slaps a ring in you, you're a goner," The second one whimpered as he watched the fight.
Speaking of which. The injured Elecmon never stood a chance. The possessed one shocked him with an electric blast and the poor Elecmon bursted to data.
The third Gotsumon covered his eyes. "He died! He killed him!"
The Emperor chuckled, this was his favorite part of the day. Watching this stupid programa fight for his amusement make him feel at peace after a long day of keeping the farse in the Human World.
The second Gotsumon growled and took a step back. "He's a monster! He's laughing!" As he stepped back he stepped on a branch, causing it to break.
Blademon's ears twitched beneath the hood. "My lord..."
The Emperor stopped chuckling and nodded. "Get them."
Blademon nodded and turned around, dashing to where he heard the sound.
The group gasped and turned to run, screaming in fear. "THE REAPER!"
Blademon summoned his sword and made an horizontal slash that sent a wave of cutting energy to chase them.
It impacted with the first two, sending them crashing to the ground with gashing wounds, while the third one managed to escape. Blademon walked to the two fallen Digimon and grabbed them by the back of their necks. He took them back to the Emperor.
And now, the tyrant was watching as the two Digimon that used to be friends fought each other. Smashing their heads against the other and sending sparks flying.
"Good work, Blademon," He complimented his trusted servant.
"You flatter me, my lord," Blademon drawled.
Wormmon just sighed and watched the Emperor. 'If this makes Ken happy...' He thought.
After untangling themselves from the pile they were growing familiar with, the group of Digidestined plus the Anomaly watched the new generation's partners in awe.
"Huh," Davis said, caressing his back for the pain. "You guys changed back."
V-mon shrugged. "When we came back we felt more energy than what we felt in the human world," He explained.
"So we can be in Rookie form," Armadillomon explained.
Hawmon gave them a peace sign, something he picked from Yolei. "Now we are ready for action."
Killua gave them an analytical gaze. "Hmmm, maybe it's because of the Digivices. They make you enter in some sort of... safe mode, where you don't need to much energy," He theorized, channeling his inner Izzy for the explanation.
"Uh, guys," Kari called to them, pulling out her Digivice. "Am I the only one seeing this?" She asked.
Everyone with a Digivice took them out, and observed what the girl was talking about. There were two new dots besides the five in their group, a pink and green one in the other side of the forest. "You think those are other Digi-eggs?" T.K asked.
"Well, we just got three, there's still five of them out there..." Killua mentioned. 'That's an odd number... Maybe there's other five mew Digidestined to use the eggs? Where do they came from in the first place?' He mulled over.
"If we get them maybe we can gain a new edge over the Emperor!" Davis said.
"Them let's get going," Killua said. "If the Emperor detected them too, then he might try to destroy them. Or find a way to take them."
At that thought, everyone felt a more urgent need to find the Digi-eggs.
The Emperor growled as he glanced at his Digivice. Five new dots have appeared close to where he was enjoying his show. At any other time he would be amused, but now he was annoyed they interrupted his fun. "You guys are so annoying..." Then he smirked and turned to his right hand mon. "Oh well... Blademon!"
"Yes, my liege?" He asked, watching the fight with disinterest.
"They are here... Him as well, I presume," He said, standing up. "Separate him from the group and... Have your fun with him."
Blademon's hands twitched and he gripped his fists. He let out a chuckle and his teeth were shown in a hungry grin. "Yes, my lord."
Wormmon gulped and looked at the two. "S-should I go too, Ken?"
The Emperor ignored the use of his name and turned to the insect. "Nah, rally the fighters and let them recover. Don't let them die until I come back to see it."
He and Blademon jumped down the place at the top of the arena and walked to where the signals were coming from.
Wormmon sighed and looked at the captured Digimon. "Okay, guys... Go to your cages," He told them softly.
As the group walked to the place where the eggs were located, they couldn't help but keep wondering about the nature of the objects of Armor Evolution.
"Do you think there's a Digimon waiting there?" Davis asked, keeping his eyes glued on the Digivice. "Or two?"
"Highly unlikely," Killua said, keeping an eye out for the Emperor's. "If there were then why only three Digivices were sent to you guys? Instead of other two? ... Not counting the Emperor's that is." He added as an afterthought.
"Then there's no other new Digidestined?" Yolei asked. "What will we do with them then?" She wondered, giving the Digivice a quizzical look.
"We'll know when we get them," Killua said, wondering what the eggs were with exactitude. The green signal could mean Purity and the pink one... He glanced at Kari, having an idea of what the Digi-egg was. Since the other two with similar color themes were already on other's possession.
"That should be soon enough then," T.K said, glancing at his own Digivice. "We're getting close."
"To where, exactly?"
Everyone stopped in their tracks as someone appeared in front of them. None other than the bad guy himself: The Digimon Emperor.
Yolei glared at the boy with the cape. "What are you doing here?!" She demanded.
Davis growled and cracked his knuckles. "You!" He said. "You'll pay for what you did last time!" He got ready to charge.
"Wait!" Killua grabbed his shoulder and grabbed a rock from the ground and tossed it at the Emperor. It phased through it. "As I thought... A hologram."
"Well, nice to see some of you have some brain in them," The Emperor muttered. "Seriously, how is it possible that a group of dumb kids managed to enter a world like this?"
"Excuse you?!" Kari asked, getting angry at the projection of their enemy.
He ignored her. "Only people with extraordinary talent should be allowed to enter this place," He said, frowning. "People with abilities exceeding the commoners. Chosen ones."
"If anything we are more of a chosen more than you are!" T.K growled.
"That's right!" Davis said, not minding agreeing with T.G in this one, showing his Digivice at the caped boy. "How'd you explain this?!"
"A fluke," He said immediately. "Well... Most of you..." His gaze lingering on the resident Hunter of the group.
Killua's eyes narrowed. "What? You expect me to get what you're saying?" He asked.
"I've seen what you're capable of doing, and I must say that I'm impressed," The Emperor admitted. "But I have yet to actually see you try... Normally I would fetch my Generals on you... But I own my second in command a favor."
None of them understood what he was talking about, until Killua's sense detected a malicious intent coming from the foliage in front of them. He let out his Nen, to cover himself in Ten, and then he let his Ren explode. This action startling his friends.
"Killua what's-' Kari tried to ask, but was cut off by the boy.
"-Enemy!" He said.
Everything happened so fast.
Something dashed out of the foliage and charged at Killua. Killua crossed his arms in a defensive manner and focused his aura in them. The figure slashed his sword against the boy's arms, which were saved thanks to his aura. The impact of the slash sent Killua flying to the other side of the forest and the figure chased after him immediately.
"KILLUA!" Everyone called, seeing as their friend was attacked and launched deep into the forest.
"If he survives then it will prove that he does deserve to come to this world," The Emperor said. "But you guys piss me off. You can't begin to compare to me, you know why?" The image disappeared, before they could even answer.
The earth started rumbling and from the forest a Tyrannomon emerged, his eyes red and a Dark Ring on his neck and the Emperor on his shoulder. "Because I'm a perfect human! While you? Are garbage and scum!"
"A perfect human?!" Davis demanded, clenching his fists. "That's bullcrap!" He yelled at the caped human.
"Just who the heck do you think you are?!" Kari asked, glaring at the human that brought so much pain to the world were her friends lived. And that took her brother's partner as a prisoner.
"The one and only ruler of this world!" He declared. "The Digital World belongs to me!" He said to them, so they would learn their place beneath his boot.
"What gives you the right to say that?!" Yolei asked, growing tired of this guy's typical bad guy speeches.
The Emperor ignored her question. "You interrupted my game, so now you'll be punished!" He said, his goggles glistening in the sun. "Go! Tyrannomon!"
The red dinosaur opened his mouth and launched a fire blast at the group. They ran away to avoid the blast and the giant Digimon growled as he prepared another attack.
Davis glared at him. "You're going to pay for that!"
The Emperor snorted, not intimidated by the boy with square goggles.
"Davis, now!" V-mon said.
Davis nodded and got his Digivice out. "Do it, V-mon! Digimental Up!"
"V-mon Armor Digivolves to... Flamedramon! The Courageous Fire!"
The Emperor leaped down from the dinosaur's shoulder and to the ground. "Again with this? You're crazy if you think the same old trick will work again."
Davis growled. "Has someone's ever told you you're a pain in the ass?" He asked.
Flamedramon charged at his opponent, but Tyrannomon just swat him away with its powerful arms like he was a fly. Flamedramon was sent flying to some trees. Not one to stay down, Flamedramon twisted his body and pressed his feet against the trunk to gain some strength in his jump. "Not yet!" He said and leaped to the air, charging his attack. "Fire Rocket!" The three missiles were launched from his hands, only for them to be swatted away.
Davis growled in frustration at seeing his partner's attacks being ineffective. "Damnit that Digimon is tough!"
"Yolei!" Hawkmon turned to his partner.
Yolei understood. "Digimental Up!"
"Hawkmon Armor Digivolves to... FlyBeemon! The Soaring Knowledge!"
FlyBeemon charged at the dinosaur, with his big size he should be able to tackle him to the ground. Tyrannomon launched fireball after fireball, but the armored body of the bug bounced them off. He got close to the red giant and headbutt it in the gut, sending it crashing to the ground.
The Emperor got his whip out. "If you think you have the number advantage you are wrong," He declared. "Come! My slaves!"
From behind him and from behind the Digidestined two pairs of Tyrannomon appeared, surrounding the group and bringing the number of enemies up to five.
Cody turned to Armadillomon. "Time to join the fight too!" He said.
"Gotcha, partner!" He nodded.
"Armadillomon Armor Digivolves to... Pteramon! The Armed Love!"
Pteramon tried to fly high, but the Tyrannomon didn't let him by constantly firing torrents of flames to him to bring him down, so he had to settle by flying low and attack from there.
Patamon cursed at his inability to help. "This is unfair! Why can't I Digivolve too?!" He asked.
"Stay close!" Gatomon told him, her holy ring shining to give her strength.
The Emperor arched an eyebrow at her. "Oh... Oh! Snap!" He said as he realized something. "You are still a Champion! Sorry, I forgot because of your size."
Gatomon growled and seemed ready to pounce at him.
The Emperor chuckled. "Let's fix that, shall we?" He raised his black Digivice in the air, liberating a dark light from it.
Gatomon gasped and felt her energy draining, she dropped to her knees and her body started glowing until she regressed to being Salamon. "Eh?" She looked at herself. "N-no way!"
"Now, my slaves," He pointed at the Rookies. "Get them."
"What?!" Kari and T.K gasped at the order of their enemy.
Two Tyrannomon didn't wasted time and attacked the two Rookies with everything they had. The two managed to dodge most of the attacks, but one of the Tyrannomon launched a blast that forced them to run in the direction of his possessed comrade, who swiped at them with his powerful arms and towards a tree.
Patamon groaned. "I hate this..."
"It's frustrating," Salamon joined.
They got up just in time to avoid being stomped by one of their enemies. But it didn't matter where they ran, wherever they turn they were faced by enemies. Two of the Tyrannomon launched a blast at them, but Pteramon blocked the attack with his wings. "Face someone your size!" He said.
Davis saw the state of her crush's partner and growled at their enemy. "Leave them alone, Emperor! That's dirty!"
"In war and war, all is fair," He shrugged, mounting one of the red dinosaurs again. "And yes I know what I said." He clarified before someone could correct him.
Cody found an opening between the group of Tyrannomon and glanced at the Digivice. "We have to go look for the Digi-Egg!" He said. "That might give us a chance!" He explained.
"Kari, T.K, go with him!" Yolei said.
"But you-" Kari tried to protest.
"You guys can't fight at the moment!" Davis said. "At least you'll be safe if you go with him!" He told them
Kari wanted to argue, but he felt a hand on her shoulder. He turned to see T.K's determined stare. "Let's go..." He said. "He is right, our only hope are the Digi-eggs!"
Kari chewed her lower lip and looked down in frustration. "Fine!" She said with resignation, not liking that she had to run. "Salamon, let's go!" She called for her partner.
"Patamon, follow me!" T.K did the same.
Cody guided the two with his Digivice. "Over here, follow me!" He yelled as he ran to the direction the device pointed them.
The Emperor narrowed his eyes as he saw them leave. "You won't get away... Follow them!" He ordered.
Two Tyrannomon roared in compliance and turned to chase them. Flamedramon tried to stop it, but the three remaining Digimon stopped him.
It was three on three, but the odds were still against them.
The moment he was attacked, Killua was sent flying to a whole different clearing. An open space surrounded by trees, without any kind of obstacle. He flipped mid air and landed on the ground, skidding on it and digging his feet in the earth to stop his momentum.
He panted and looked up, his Ten up and firmly set to protect him, to see who the resposible of the attack was.
The hooded Digimon that attacked him came to a stop on his dash to the clearing. Standing calmly in front of the Hunter, his blue eyes glaring at Killua. "Killua... Zoldyck. The Anomaly," He growled and walked forward.
Killua straightened and glared back. "Who are you?" He asked. 'Whoever it is, it's serious business... That last attack, even with my Nen protecting me, sent me flying quite far.'
At the question, Blademon tightened his fists and bared his fangs. "If you don't remember it doesn't matter... I have only one goal for my master," He summoned his broad-bladed sword in a whisp of blue fire.
"For the Emperor, huh..." Killua said and sharpened his nails. "Then I suppose it doesn't matter who you are... You don't seem to have a Dark Ring, so your serving him willingly, which means... I don't need to hold back."
Killua's Ren flared up around him, causing a gust of wind to cover the entire clearing that was going to be their battleground, his hair being lifted upwards at the burst of power.
Blademon's white furry arms gripped the handle of his sword with force. Finally, his revenge will be served. Justice will be served.
The two just stood there, sizing the other up. Knowing that this fight was going to be something to remember, both of them aiming to kill the other completly.
Then Killua vanished.
Blademon didn't wasted time. The boy reappeared in from of him ready to slash him apart, but Blademon blocked it with his blade. Killua didn't stopped and continued to slash at him with his nails, his slash controlled and precise, but Blademon blocked each and every one of them. Spark flew in the contact of metal and nail, Killua being more agile and attacked fast and strong, but Blademon's sword never budged and he saw all of the attacks, even when they came from two places at the same time.
Killua leaped back and started running around his opponent, looking for an opening he could exploit. Blademon didn't sat idly, and charged at him, surprising Killua for a moment, and the back and forth started again, this time with Blademon on the offensive. His broad-bladed sword being one for heavy slashes, all of them with the intention to cleave Killua in half from every angle. He attacked to his abdomen, to the upper part of the shoulder, to the head, but Killua was able to dodge them or to deflect them with his claws.
Their clashes rang across the clearing, to any onlookers without a trained eye, the only thing they could see before the spiderweb cracks on the floor appeared, would be a two blurs of white and blue crashing against each other.
Killua jumped up and attack with a stabbing motion from the air, Blademon raised his sword and blocked it and Killua blurred out of sight. He attacked from behind with his right hand with a thrust, but Blademon spun around and deviated Killua's hand away. The boy jumped back, twisting mid-air to gain distance from his opponent.
Blademon saw a chance. "Fool," He grinned and charged.
Killua landed and saw Blademon a few meters near him and hastily got back to position. Their clash started again, the sword of the Reaper leaving behind a blue stella, while the Hunter's nails cut through the air and leaved white trails due to the Nen covering it. Their fight lifted a cloud of dust that covered the entire battlefield, yet none of the two didn't seemed to notice, they continued to fight without a care in the world other than killing their opponent.
Blademon went for a downward cut to the right shoulder, but the boy blocked it. Killua attacked with a swipe to the abdomen, but Blademon turned his sword upside down to block it and push him back. The Digimon went for various slashes, countered by the former assassin's hands. Blademon made a small jump to try and cut the boy's cranium, Killua jumped back to dodge and the blade crashed on the ground, making rocks fly around.
Killua continued to jump to gain distance, but Blademon moved faster than he would expect and closed the distance in a mere instant. The Reaper attacked with a thrust to the right side, that Killua dodged by turning his body to the left. Blademon took various swings at the boy, Killua took a more evasive tactic to avoid getting hit by the blade.
Blademon swung his sword to cut the boy on from the right side, aiming to his ribs. Killua leaned back and the blade passed parallel to his torso, he could see his reflection for a moment on the blade, his face glistening with sweat and eyes narrowed. He straightened and went to the offensive slashing with his claws, Blademon seeing every strike coming and stoping them with the blade on his hands. He parried and pushed the Hunter back and aimed to cut his legs, but Killua jumped and the leg passed beneath his feet.
For a moment time seemed to freeze. Killua raising his arms to attack to the head, from his place in the air. While Blademon had his sword in just one hand after his lower swipe to the legs. Their gazes met, a showdown of wills stronger than the one they were having physically.
Time continued and Killua focused his Nen in a Ko double axe punch to the head of the enemy. Blademon raised his sword and the attack crashe against it, the ground beneath the Digimon's feet cracking with spiderwebs.
Killua grunted and added pressure to the attack, Blademon grunted to try and fight back but in the end his sword gave up and was pushed down. Killua landed in front of him and acted fast to take the chance of this opening, with a Ko imbedded fist he gave him a right hook and sent him flying to the trees surrounding the clearing.
With finally a moment to breath, Killua analyzed the situation. 'He's strong... Stronger than a Champion, so maybe he is an Ultimate... I was careless. I didn't charged before coming so I can't use Godspeed... Only a few Lighting Palms or Narukamis... I could use my Yo-yos, but with his blade could be made of the same material as VictoryGreymon's sword, so he could cut them easily...' His thoughts were interrupted when a tree trunk was sent flying above his head. He clicked his teeth. 'He's up again.'
Blademon walked out of the cloud of dust caused from his impact. His cloack was dirty and slightly cut, but otherwise he was fine. "This is fun... I never thought a fight against you will be so fun!" He said.
Before Killua could answer, Blademon charged again. His sword now in one hand he had was now aiming to stab his body instead of cleaving it. Killua deflected the attacks, but he could feel the strength in them, even with aura around his body. Blademon grabbed his weapon in both hands and swung it to behead the boy, Killua ducked, but Blademon took that chance to give him a kick that sent him flying.
Killua bounced on the ground and twisted himself around. He panted and got up. "He got me there..." He muttered.
Blademon shifted his blade in his hands and Killua charged his nails with lighting.
And they went at it again.
"Boom Bubble!"
"Puppy Howling!"
Both Rookies attacked the Tyrannomon pursuing them, to no avail, the attacks bounced off the dinosaur's skin and he continued to walked forward to catch them.
Salamon growled. "We have to keep running!" She said to Patamon, before the dinosaur could try to stop them.
Cody looked down at his Digivice as they continued to run, the eggs were closer by now. He looked around and saw a small cavern, that was where the signals were coming from. "There! Let's enter!" He told his friends.
Without any objection, everyone ran to the entrance of the cave, if not to get the Digi-eggs, then to hide from the possessed dinosaur.
Once inside, they all took a moment to catch their breath. "That..." Kari panted. "Was too close..." She said, sitting on a big rock.
Cody looked around, his Digivice beeping like crazy as he tried to figure out where the signal was coming from. "The Digi-eggs are around here..." He muttered.
They walked down the cave to find the elusive eggs. "If one of us lifts it... Then we'll have a second partner?" T.K couldn't help but wonder.
Kari looked a bit hesitant. "I don't think so... And I don't really think you and I can really lift it." She didn't liked to admit it, but with all the proof, T.K and her weren't needed as Digidestined anymore.
They entered a chamber, the place where the eggs were being held, and the veterans gasped. "The Crest of Hope!" T.K said, looking at the egg with his crest.
"And the Crest of Light!" Kari exclaimed, looking at the pink craving on the egg.
Salamon looked at her partner. "Kari, why don't you try lifting them?"
"Do it T.K!" Patamon nodded along.
The two of them seemed doubtful. "But..." T.K muttered.
"What do you have to lose?" Salamon asked. "The worst it can happen is that nothing happens. If you can't lift it, then we'll scurry our way to where Killua might be fighting to help him so he can join the fight with the Tyrannomons."
Hearing her reasoning, the two veterans couldn't help but agree on that. There was nothing to lose here. They shared a look and nodded. "Okay... If you insist," T.K said.
They both grabbed the eggs and pulled... Nothing happened, they didn't budged.
Everyone slumped down in disappointment, until suddenly the two objects started to shine. Everyone gasped and took a step back and one beam of light was launched from each object and into the two veterans' pockets.
They realized what the beams had aimed for and dug their Digivices out, watching as they shined with a pure light. Then they started to morph until they become the new models the new generation and the Emperor had. Kari's was pink and T.K's was green.
"This is-" T.K gasped.
A lightbulb went on Kari's head and she tried again. "T.K! Grab your egg!" She told him.
The boy nodded and the two of them pulled. The objects came out without any kind of problem, light as a feather in the hands of the children.
They waited for a moment, but no new Digimon came out from them. "That's strange, a Digimon always came out until now..." Cody muttered.
Salamon grinned from ear to ear and wagged her tai at Kari. "Let's do this! Now we can evolve!"
"T.K! Say what Davis and the others always say!" Patamon asked, with excitement.
T.K and Kari nodded at their partners and raised the egg. "Digimental Up!"
The eggs glowed and bathed the two Digimon.
"Patamon Armor Digivolves to..." Patamon seemed to grow in size and the egg broke in pieces. It covered his torso, head, and paws. Two pair of wings extending from his back. "Pegasusmon! The Flying Hope!"
"Salamon Armor Digivolves to..." The process was the same. The egg broke while Salamon grew in size, her form actually taking a form more similar to Gatomon's. The pieces of the egg covered her front paws, her head and the front part of her body. "Nefertimon! The Angel of Light!"
Kari and T.K gawked at their partner's evolved form. Cody was completely impressed by the whole evolution process. "Kari and T.K... The eggs turned their Digivices in ones like mine..." He decided to question all of that for later.
Kari hugged Nefertimon's side. "You're so beautiful, Nefertimon!"
The armored Digimon let out a chuckle. "Oh, you'll make me blush."
"Pegasusmon, are you ready?" He asked his partner, caressing his nuzzle.
"Of course I am, T.K!" The pegasus nodded.
They got on their respective partners' backs, with Cody riding on Pegasusmon with T.K, and dashed out of the cave to aid their friends.
Things weren't well for Davis and Yolei. Their partners lost all energy and reverted back to their base forms, Armadillomon included, and they've been cornered to a cliff by the Emperor.
"Seems it's game over," The Emperor chuckled, seeing his enemies' predicament.
"Oh shut your trap!" Yolei said, trying to keep a brave front.
The Emperor shook his head. "What a loud girl..." He smiled. "Listen, contrary to what you may believe of me, I'm actually a benevolence ruler. Hand over your Digivices and I'll open a gate for you to leave."
"Like hell!" Davis said. "You'll continue to slave Digimon if we leave!"
The Emperor clicked his teeth. "Stubborn imbeciles. Fine... Die." He was about to call the other of fire from his slaves.
But the cavalry had arrived for the two Digidestined.
"Guys!" Kari called from Nefertimon's back. "Here we go!" She said.
The Emperor turned with a raised eyebrow, suprised and annoyed to see the weakest links in the group to gain another ability to evolve. "Tch again?"
"They're here!" Yolei celebrated.
Davis was gawking at Kari's image. "She's riding on a beast like goddess," He swooned.
They landed and their partners' disembarked. Pegasusmon turned to him. "Stay here, we'll make sure to free the Tyrannomon."
"We'll count on you," T.K nodded at him with a smile.
The Emperor jumped off of one of the Tyrannomon's head. "Another phony evolution? Don't you have anything new?"
Nefertimon scoffed. "We'll show you something new! Pegasusmon! Let's go!" She said, extending her wings.
Pegasusmon followed her lead and took off to the sky.
Their front paws started to shine and the two circled around the pack of dinosaurs, forming a golden rope to tie them up and immobilize them. "Power Bond!" They exclaimed the name of the attack.
The Emperor scowled at seeing his slaves captured, knowing that they were going to be freed. He scoffed and ran to the cliff. 'Enough for today then,' He thought. 'I'll go for Blademon and see how he did on his assignment.' He thought.
Davis saw the Emperor running to one the edges of the cliff, with wide eyes. "H-hey, wait!" He called.
The evil human jumped and moments later he reappeared, riding on an Airdramon's back away from the fight. Davis clenched his fist as he saw him get away. "Damnit, he got away!"
Meanwhile, the newly armored Digimon attacked the slaved dinosaurs. Pegasusmon's mane stood up and started launching strands of hair as needles. "Rain of Needles!"
The jewels on Nefertimon's gauntlets started shining and she fired them consecutively at the enemies. "Nile's Jewel!"
The attacks impacted against the restrained Digimon and they all fell to the ground, the rope dispersing. When they hit the ground the Dark Rings shattered, the Digimon's eyes going from red to an innocent blue.
Yolei pumped her fist. "They did it!"
Davis wanted to be glad, but he looked at Nefertimon and Pegasusmon with twitching eyes. 'They have a combined attack?! Not fair! Why can't I have one with Kari?!' He wailed in his head.
The two armored Digimon regressed and two beams were shot at T.K and Kari's pockets. They felt a new weight on them and dug the new object down, they were barely surprised to see it was the same PDA that Davis and the others obtained. "Guess this comes with the Digi-eggs," T.K said.
"We're not done yet," Kari said, worry in her voice. "Killua is still fighting in the forest!"
At the reminder, the group turned tail and ran back to the forest to aid the white haired Hunter.
Blurs of blue and white crashed against the other in the clearing. The fighting between the Hunter and the Reaper continuing without a pause.
Killua jumped and aimed for drop kick to the skull, but the Digimon raised his sword and blocked it, pushing the boy back. Killua flipped mid-air and landed on the ground in a crouched position.
Blademon blurred and reappeared behind the boy, his sword raised above hos head to cut Killua in half. But Killua turned and raised his claws in time to block the strike. When both forces make impact, a small shockwave resonated around the clearing.
Killua pushed Blademon's sword back, causing the Reaper to lose his balance for a moment. With that opening, he aimed to stab him in the stomach. But the moment his claws make contact with the abdomen, there was a clanging sound that blocked his nails. 'What?!' He thought.
Blademon brought his sword down, having recovered from that small break on his posture, and Killua leaped back to avoid being killed. 'Under that cloak he's wearing an armor!' Killua realized.
Blademon adjusted the grip on his sword and glared at the white haired boy. He has lost track of the time since this fight started, but neither of them had landed a good blow on the other. Both of them fairly even. 'Even so...' He thought. 'I have the feeling he isn't at full power. He must have a triumph card he isn't using... Either he doesn't want to for some reason.'
The two gained their second breath and got in position, ready to start their fight again.
"Blademon!" The Emperor's voice called, and they looked up to see him on an Airdramon. "We're leaving."
"What?!" The Digimon asked in indignation. "But my lord-!"
"I have not many slaves to use around here," He explained. "You had your fun, I had mine. Let's go..." His eyes lingering on Killua for a moment.
Killua spat on the floor and glared back. "What are you looking at? Dumbass?!" He asked.
The Emperor smirked and held out a Dark Ring. "Nothing in particular... Just wanting to assess my future rival."
Killua's eyes narrowed even further. "Rival...?"
Blademon gritted his teeth, wanting nothing more than to continue this fight. Not only could he have his vengeance on Zoldyck, but he was having fun to have someone to keep up with. And now this pretender of an Emperor was wanting to take that away from him?!
But his true master need him to play a role... Blast it all to hell!
"As you wish my lord," Blademon grunted and leaped up all the way to Airdramon's back. He glared down at the Hunter. "This isn't over, Zoldyck!"
Killua's eyes narrowed. "Next time... I'll finish you up!" He declared back.
The two bad guys flew away. And once he knew no one was near, Killua's knees buckled and he fell to one of them, panting as the adrenaline worn off. 'That guy... He has to be an Ultimate, or something as strong as Myotismon at the least... If I face him again I'll have to be charged to use Godspeed.' He thought.
"KILLUA!"
He turned around to see the group running to him, T.K and Kari leading it. They kneeled at his side. "Are you okay?" Kari asked, looking over him.
"I'm fine... Just had a fight with... a Digimon with a cloak," He panted.
Patamon and Gatomon gasped. "That must've been The Reaper!" She said.
"The one responsible for capturing Agumon and the others!" Patamon revealed.
"He is?!" T.K and Kari asked in a mix of shock and anger.
Killua snorted. "Had I known that I would have tried harder to beat him..." He said with a grunt, slowly getting up.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Kari asked.
He nodded. "Yeah," He said. "It's just that... That guy has to be an Ultimate... He could go on par with me, even with Nen. No wonder Agumon and the others got captured."
"And you were able to fend off against him alone?" Yolei asked from behind.
"Amazing..." Cody muttered.
Davis wanted nothing more than to bury himself on the ground. First T.C's evolution, and now the white dude could fight against powerful Digimon. At this rate he won't stand out for Kari!
"Yeah, yeah," Killua muttered. "Enough about that," He turned to the group. "What about you guys?"
After explaining everything that happened to Killua, while he was fighting. The group went back to the forest, just in time to see the Tyrannomon walking peacefully to the sunset, without looking for any trouble. A big contrast to their attitude when controlled. Kari snapped some pictures of them with her camera before going back to the Human World.
Once they were back, the In-trainings and Patamon started devouring the rest of the snacks Yolei brought them, while Gatomon stared at them with a disgusted look because of their manners.
Kari was looking at the picture she took on the computer. A scowl on her usual pacific face. "That guy's unforgivable... Not only does he do this awful things to the Digimon, but he attacked us when we were defenseless."
Killua wanted to agree, but the more analytical part of him knew that it was a good strategy to aim for the weakest link. Had the situation being different, he would have probably done the same to an enemy. So he decided to address something else. "And that Blademon of his seems to have a special vendetta against me," He muttered. "But we never came across a Digimon like him..."
"If he's working with the Emperor the we just have to take him down!" Davis said, punching his fist. Then he turned to Kari. "Right?"
Kari, because she was focused on the picture, didn't seemed to listen and turned to T.K. "What do you think he's planning with all of this?"
Davis slumped down at the ignorance to his comment.
"I don't know," T.K said with a frown. "But I can't believe someone our age can actually do something like this, something so inhuman."
Killua's flinch went unnoticed by almost everyone there. He knew T.K didn't meant it, but he was sure he has done worst in the past under his family's control. "To top it all he believes he's perfect... And called me his rival for some reason." Killua wasn't arrogant, but he knew than no kid, or adult, in this world could be on his level. Only Digimon with a high evolution level.
"That's just a serious case of superiority complex if I ever saw one!" Yolei huffed, leaning against a shelf.
"By the way, there's something bothering me," Cody said, standing next to the munching Digimon.
"What is it?" Davis asked, recovering from Kari ignoring his comment.
"T.K and Kari couldn't lift the Digi-eggs at first, but then they shined and their Digivices changed from the ones they had to the ones we have," Cody said. "And they didn't received any other Digimon, just the armors."
Killua cupped his chin. "... This is just a theory, but maybe you need a new type of Digivice to lift the eggs," Everyone turned to him when he said that. "I mean, you guys already had one. And T.K and Kari couldn't lift the eggs until they received one. It's almost as if the eggs gave them the new Digivices to them... It won't suprise me if yours came from one too," Killua finished.
Davis held his head with a pained grimace. "I don't understand half of it... The Digi-egg sent us the Digivices?" He asked.
"It's a theory as I said," Killua clarified. "But there's many things we don't understand yet about this new evolution mechanic," He frowned.
It was strange that the old fart, Gennai, hasn't tried to communicate with them. Either he died -- Good riddance if that's the case -- or he's hiding because of the Emperor's influence.
"We can discuss it tomorrow?" T.K asked, looking at the clock. "It's getting late, we should head home."
"I second that," Killua said, getting up and stretching his muscles. "After that fight I need a good night of rest and a shower... Not in that order."
No one presented any objections and they all went to their respective homes.
The Emperor sat on his throne watching his screen with an excited smile.
He was watching the recording of the fight between Killua and Blademon. The show presented before himself was something out of his wildest dreams. They could barely be seen my the screen, but the Emperor's trained eye allowed him to watched the back and forth on its full glory.
'I want to set the perfect scenario for when we face each other!' He grinned from ear to ear. 'I want to put this power to the test!' He let out his Ren as he got more and more excited. But he could wait, wait until everything was in place.
He took a calming breath and changed the image on the screen. Time to change plans. File Island was almost on his complete clutches, the only thing he couldn't find was the elusive Primary Village. Strange, since the island was so small compared to the Server Continent.
Speaking of which. The Emperor decided to move his plans the larger mass of land. He had ninety five percent of the island under his control. But the continent was only at a twenty percent.
He'll have to accelerate his plans there if he wants to conquer this world completly.
Down below in his base. In a special testing area he used for his experiments. The Emperor's second in command fought against the remaining captured Generals.
They all layed defeated on the floor, having suffered from the Reaper's wrath. He took heavy, ragging breaths to regain some composure, but his rage was far too great.
'Damn that Emperor for interrupting my fight!' He thought, his hate for the brat increasing. 'I'll get rid of him once the master's plans are complete! And then... Then Zoldyck will die a slow and agonizing death at my hands!' His blue eyes blazed as he made his vow.
