Note: I'm feeling giddy. Today we introduce my favorite Armor Digimon!!!

MetalGreymon roared and launched his missiles around a town full of innocents, not caring of the screams or the data particles flying off to somewhere. The Airdramon were aiding him by keeping a perimeter and not allowing any Digimon to escape.

The Emperor just watched the show from the top of his great General's head. He pressed some buttons on his laptop and a Control Tower came out from the ground, liberating from its top a blizzard of Dark Rings to capture the inhabitants and survivors of the town.

"This is excellent!" He chuckled as he saw the map becoming more and more covered in black squares. He looked around the town and smiled in satisfaction. "It seems we're done here," He noted and rapped his knuckles twice on his pet's head. "MetalGreymon, to the next area! It'll be the sixth in a row!"

MetalGreymon roared and jumped high, his wings allowing him to fly to his next target. The Airdramon all following with screeches.

The Emperor stood on top of the cyborg's with his arms crossed. He looked at the Dark Spire on his slave's right arm with a huge sense of pride in himself. "With the Dark Spires I can take control of the strongest Digimon!" He boasted to the hole world. "I'm sure you want more fighting, right MetalGreymon?" He asked receiving a roar as a response which caused him to laugh out loud. "Then let's see if someone in the next zone it's able to give you some challenge!"

The cart train the Digidestined were using sailed through the railings of the desert, giving chase to the Emperor and MetalGreymon in the hopes of freeing the latter and hopefully, finally put an end to the former once and for all.

A buzzing sound called the group's attention. Tentomon landed on the rear cart with most of the youngest group with a relaxed sigh. "Phew, I finally found you guys!" He said.

From the front cart, Killua turned to address the Digimon. "You got some news for us?" He asked while crossing his arms.

"Yup!" Tentomon answered, popping the P. "The Emperor is moving to the south and fast!" He looked around with a frown, somehow noticeable in his featureless face. "And seeing as Agumon isn't with you, I suppose the Emperor still has him."

"And with a new toy," Matt nodded in confirmation. "Something he can use to bring MetalGreymon out to play."

"Well shit..." Tentomon's head lowered. "I think things really got south..." He received blank stares. "Oh, no pun intended."

Killua shook his head and scratched his hair with an exasperating look after that unintentional joke. "Anyways!" He gritted out. "If Ken is going south then that means he's right in front of us," He said, turning around to see the road ahead of him.

Tai pumped his fist with a determined fire burning in his eyes. "Alright, then it's time for us to get Agumon back!"

Matt mimicked his action, pumping his fists and nodding. "We wont let the Emperor get away with this!" He said, then he sighed. "Maybe I should have brought Gabumon with me..."

"No, you made the right call," Killua said. "We don't know if Ken has another one of those Dark Spirals, have you brought him and he gets caught we would have to deal with WereGarurumon too, and we already had enough problems against MetalGreymon." He explained. Between Ken as a Nen user, two Ultras, and both of the Emperor's bodyguards—Mainly, Blademon—it would have brought more problems than necessary.

"Then should I stay out of this too?" Tentomon asked, tilting his head. "I wouldn't like to become MegaKabuterimon again, if it means being under that guy's control again."

"For now keep scouting the area and come back to tell us if something comes up," Killua told him. "Or if MetalGreymon and Ken suddenly make an U turn and we have to change directions to fight them."

"Okay!" The insect said as he fluttered away.

At hearing the word fight, Davis got up. "Hey, wait just a minute sparky! Are we seriously going to fight against MetalGreymon again?"

"Of course, idiot," Killua said, arching an eyebrow at him. "What did you expect? We have to do it to free him."

"But he's Tai's friend!" Davis rebuked. "And isn't he your's too?!"

Tai decided to interfere for the moment. "Davis, we have to do it."

"We can't stop now," Matt said. "If we do, then all of us, Agumon included, will regret it." As he said that he turned to both Killua and Tai for confirmation. "Right guys?"

"Yeah," Tai nodded, no hesitation in his eyes.

"Of course," Killua pocketed his hands and nodded.

Davis slumped, seeing as both the so-so leader of their group, one of the veterans, and his role model! (And future brother in-law) all seemed to be gung-ho in attacking one of their friends. "I... It just seems wrong. I don't think I'm capable of hurting Tai's partner."

"It's because he is his partner that qe have to do this," T.K said from the back cart.

Davis turned and glared at him. "You too?!"

T.K didn't seemed intimidated by that glare. "Look it's not that we just want to attack him, but if we want to save Agumon then we have to fight against him, there's no other way."

Davis planted his hands on the edge of the cart to face the youngest blonde. "So what?! You're saying we should go and finish off Agumon? Tai's partner?!"

"Don't put words in my mouth!" T.K said, losing patience against the boy with square goggles. "We just have to take the Dark Spiral out of him!"

"We already tried that, and we couldn't do nothing! Not even sparky!" He said, pointing back to Killua. The Hunter just rolled his eyes at the new nickname. "We can't take out the Dark Spire without hurting him! And that's what we shouldn't do!"

Finally getting tired of the discussion, T.K got up and glared at him. "Even so, Tai, his partner, is ready to face him!" He countered.

That was the last straw on Davis' mind. This whole situation getting on his nerves, and more so the complete dismissal his friends were giving to Agumon's safety. He jumped to the cart where T.K was and grabbed the neck of his shirt. "Why you little-!"

The action caused the second generation, Kari included, to try and separate them. "Guys stop!" She pleaded.

"Davis stand down!" Yolei said as she tried to pry the boys apart.

"The cart might top over!" Cody warned as the scuffle between the two continued.

Killua watched the fight that broke out between the two and looked at the two boys with him. "Should I?" He asked, pointing to them with a look.

Both teenagers exchanged looks and shook their heads with smiles. "Nah, let them," Tai said.

That statement caused the two boys from fighting and turned to them, as well as all the younger kids. "Huh?"

Kari was the most confused on her brother's decision. "Tai, why?"

"They just can't fight like that!" Cody exclaimed.

Tai smiled and crossed his arms. "Tai and Matt got on a fight when we were younger," Tai explained. "It's something natural that happens, even between friends."

"You mean specially between friends," Matt remarked with a grin.

Killua closed his eyes and smiled fondly. "Gotta admit, they are right," He said, referring to what they were saying. While he and Gon never got into any fist fights, they had their fare shares of disagreements.

"Of course we are," Tai continued grinning. "So I say you just let them fight."

Davis and T.K glared at each other and looked away, letting go of each other.

Yolei put her hands on her hips and tilted her head. "And that's it? Just let them fight?" She asked. "I don't get it."

"Me neither honestly," Cody said, not believing senseless violence could bring any solution.

"Maybe someday you'll get it," Matt shrugged with Tai nodding along.

"Any case, let's continue," Killua said, turning around and looking at the desert. "The Emperor might be just ahead, for all we know."

Everyone nodded and continued to look around, in case of an ambush from the Emperor.

Davis for his part continued to sulk on his thoughts about the situation. Was he the only one seeing the problem?! They couldn't beat Agumon without hurting him badly, Ken wasn't going to let them destroy that Spiral easily. And yet everyone seemed okay with hurting someone they called a friend?! Where was the sense in that?! ... Or maybe it was him who was missing something, and he was the one who wasn't making sense and didn't understand friendship at all.

Killua looked back to check on the younger kids after that scene and saw Davis' expression. He inwardly sighed and looked ahead. 'If he keeps up like that, he might get in the way or get in the way of the fight. We'll have to find a way to make him understand why we have to do this...'

Tentomon sighed again, it didn't matter where he went, Control Towers were everywhere on the southern area. The Emperor's control was growing faster and faster each time, all with the help of their possessed friend.

He flew across a part of the desert full of arid mountains, a part of the territory Garurumon used to take care of, before the Emperor's perpetual stay in the world. And so, his shock was huge when he saw a Control Tower in the middle of the landscape. "What the-?!" He exclaimed.

He heard some bouncing noise and hid behind the obelisk to keep an eye on the Digimon of the area. His dismay grew when he saw some Pagumom bouncing with Dark Rings attached to their ears

"This can't keep up like this..." Tentomon mumbled. The others had decided to go back to the Human World to stay away from The Emperor's grip, but he was now seeing the downside—There would be no one to protect the world while they were away. "We have to think of something to do... Better go back to the others."

He fluttered away with a new conflict in hand.

When the cart train passed in between two mountains, the D-3 all started to beep uncontrollably. "Could it be?" Cody mumbled, looking at his Digivice.

The three boys at the front didn't received any signal—Two because of lack of an update, and one because of a lack of Digivice. They turned to question the younger kids. "What is it?" Matt asked.

Cody got up and showed the screen on his yellow device. "This signal is one of a Digi-egg!" He explained.

That suprised the three of them. "Another one?" Tai asked, surprised.

"It was always a possibility," Killua said. "If the ones we found up until now match some of the Crests, then there's at least another three out there," He deduced.

As they passed by, Kari noticed something in one of the walls. "Wait, guys stop!" She said.

Hearing her petition, Killua shifted the sail in the front cart to make the train stop. They all turned to the direction the girl was pointing, and the veterans gasped, Matt's eyes growing wide. "T-That's the Crest of Friendship?" He asked.

Carved in the side of a wall was the Crest of Friendship. But it was not like when it was sealed away, before Matt found it. It was like the symbol was put there by someone or something.

"Why is this here?" Killua asked, raising an eyebrow. It didn't made sense to him, why would something like the symbol of one of the Crest be here. There wasn't something like this for the first five eggs... Or at least that he's heard from the others. And why this far away into the desert? In a zone they've never been before?

"Who cares 'bout that?" Davis asked and looked at his device. "The Digi-egg is just around the corner! Literally!"

They got out of the train and walked out of the narrowed path between the two mountains. They followed the signal and found another carved symbol and a crater below it. And within the crater was one of the Digi-eggs, this one was black with a yellow horn at the top.

"So that's the Digi-egg of friendship," Matt mumbled.

Tai crossed his arms in thought. "What could it be doing here... I thought it would be more... Hidden," He said, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Like the first five."

"In any case, who does it belong to?" Cody asked, looking at the black object.

"Is there a sixth Digidestined of second generation?" Yolei asked.

T.K shook his head. "I don't think so... When Kari and I found ours, the eggs turned our Digivice in D-3."

Matt hummed. "Think it could be the same for me?" He asked, then he slumped a bit. "But... Gabumon isn't here to try it."

"You can still give it a shot," Killua suggested, gesturing to the egg.

Matt looked at the black object and shrugged. "What do I have to lose?" He asked and slid into the crater. He put his hands around it and pulled with all of his strength, without any kind of result. "Urgh! What the heck is with this thing?!" He asked as it refused to come out.

"Deja vu..." Yolei deadpanned.

Tai slid to the blond's side. "Let me try," He said. Matt made space for him and the brunette started to pull too. Not achieving anything either. "Argh! Not again!" He growled as the egg refused to come out.

Killua saw them fail and sighed. He turned to the younger kids. "Maybe it does need a D-3 to be lifted."

Kari nodded and got a reminiscing look. "Yeah, when T.K and I got ours we couldn't lift it at first, but when we received our D-3 then we could."

"And since Tai and Matt's Digivices didn't changed, then it has to be for us," Yolei finished piecing the puzzle together.

Cody slid down to it, while Matt and Tai got out. "Let me try," He said and wrapped his hands around. But again, the stubborn thing didn't came out. Cody grunted in effort, but nothing happened. "Huh? But... Why?" He asked.

Everyone was also suprised. Their theory of only needing a D-3 to use the Digi-eggs becoming null with this. Killua then cupped his chin. "If it's not the D-3, then it's a thing about deserving it?"

"Like the sword and the rock," T.K said, remembering the analogy used when they found Davis' Digi-egg.

And so, a constant tryout to pull the object was made. T.K, Kari, and Yolei all tried to remove the black egg with no result. The stubborn object just stayed glued in place, almost as if mocking them.

Yolei was the last one to try and in her try at some point she slipped and her crouched position caused her to lose balance and hit the back of her head, so she got out while rubbing the sore spot. "That thing is evil," She muttered angrily.

"A mean thing for being the Digi-egg of friendship," Davis said, eyeing the object.

"Your go, by the way," Killua told him, giving him a small shove.

"Eh, w-what?" Davis asked, kind of surprised.

"You're the only one who hasn't tried yet," Tai said. "So, go ahead."

Davis looked at the object and shook his head. "I don't think that thing is for me, man."

Matt arched an eyebrow at him. "Why not?"

Davis poked his fingers together. "I'm not quite 'friendly' ya know? I just got in a fight with T.P, and so." He said, kicking up some dirt.

Matt crossed his arms and gave him a look. "So what? We already said that fighting is normal."

Davis nodded, still looking down. "I know, but listen. I'm not getting any of what you guys are trying to do with fighting Agumon. You guys know him longer and say it's for the best and I just don't see it! So, if you guys said that fighting is a form of friendship, then maybe I don't get friendship at all," He said, scratching the back of his head.

"Okay, yeah, you don't get what we're trying to do," Killua said. "But that doesn't mean you don't know about friendship, just certain aspects. And besides, you lost nothing by trying."

Davis sighed. He wasn't going to win this one, wasn't he? He slid down and put his hands around the egg. Everyone was watching him with halted breath. He started tugging the egg and... Nothing happened at all. He sighed and raised his hands. "See?! Nothing!"

Everyone sighed in disappointment. The egg was completely stuck there apparently, until they find a sixth Digidestined or something else entirely.

Killua turned. "Well, this was a bust," He said. "Better continue on our way."

"Actually..." Everyone turned to see Kari, who spoke up. "You haven't tried Killua."

Everyone now turned to see the boy, who just stared at the Child of Light with a dumbfounded look. He raised an eyebrow and scoffed. "Yeah right. It didn't came out for you guys, who have Digivices, it'll come out with me."

"Hey now, sparky," Davis said, climbing out. "If I had when I had my doubts then so do you! It's fair!"

Killua sighed. He had a point, as much as he hated to admit. To force Davis to pick the egg and not doing it himself would be pure hypocrisy. He rolled his sleeves and walked to the crater. "Fine, but don't expect anything out of it."

He slid down the crater and glared at the object with defiance. He crouched and put his hands around the egg. He sighed and shook his head, this was not going to work, but what the heck.

He pulled and he stumbled back.

He blinked and processed what happened. He was standing, his hands over his head, holding something. He slowly looked up and blinked.

The Digidestined blinked too.

The Digi-egg of friendship rested happily in Killua's hands, high in the air.

The wind blew and everyone just sorted what happened. Until Killua finally broke the silence. "What." It wasn't even a question, it was just a flat word trying to find sense to what happened.

"The Digi-egg... Is Killua's?!" Yolei exclaimed.

"Well I'll be dammed," Matt muttered, blinking at the scene.

Killua lowered the egg and stared at the object with blank eyes. "This doesn't make any sense!" He exclaimed. "I mean, I'm not a Digidestined! Why would I be able to put it out?!"

"Maybe it doesn't necessarily needs to be a Digidestined?" Cody offered. "And anyone can use it?"

"Then why it didn't came off with Matt, The Child of Friendship?!" Killua asked, glaring at the object that just kept confusing them and destroying every belief they had on how they worked.

"Look we can discuss the truth behind this thing later," Tai said. "But now we have it... But."

"But what goes does it have with me?" Killua asked, a bit bitterly. "I have no partner to use it."

"Maybe you can give it to one of us?" Gatomon asked. "Just say the magic words."

Killua kooked at the object and shrugged. "Again... Worht a shot," He said and raised the object. "Digimental U-!"

He was interrupted by a buzzing sound coming from somewhere, forcing him and everyone in the group to cover their ears in pain. "Argh! What is this?!" Davis asked.

From behind the group, a Flymon appeared from the sky, the responsible from the sound. The Digimon pointed its stinger at them and started firing it like missiles, the appendage being replaced with each shot.

The group scattered to dodge the attack, with Killua jumping out of the crater with the Digi-egg in hand to dodge the attack. However, not all of them went unscratched; Patamon was grazed by the attack and affected by the poison in it. "Urgh!"

T.K knelt beside his partner, with worry. "Patamon!"

Davis glared at the creature and turned to V-Mon. "Okay, it's go time!"

"You said it, Davith!" V-Mon nodded.

"Digimental Up!"

"V-Mon Armor Digivolves to... Flamedramon! The Courageous Fire!"

Flamedramon didn't wasted time. He covered himself in flames and shot himself up to the sky. "Fire Lariat."

His lack of mobility in the sky allowed Flymon to easily dodge him. He landed a few meters behind the wasp Digimon and growled. "Damnit!"

Yolei pumped her fists and did a Sentai style pose. "Go, Hawkmon! Digimental Up!"

"Hawkmon Armor Digivolves to... FlyBeemon! The Soaring Knowledge!"

FlyBeemon's flew towards the smaller insect with a swing of his arm, but it vanished out of sight before it could make contact. "Tch, its fast!"

Flymon appeared behind him and his wings started glowing before starting to vibrate faster, causing the buzzing sound to become a deafening screech that caused everyone to grab their ears and close their eyes in pain, including Killua and the two armored Digimon.

Eventually the sound died down and everyone could open their eyes again. T.K winced a bit as he still heard some ringing in his ears and looked down to check on Patamon, only to see he disappeared. "Patamon?!"

Killua noticed his disappearance as well and looked around, spotting the retreating form of Flymon in the horizon with something trapped in his claws. "There he is!" He pointed.

"Patamon!" T.K immediately broke into a sprint to catch the escaping Digimon, with everyone else following him. Davis and T.K were leading the chase, along with the two armored Digimon. Killua stuffed the Digi-egg on one of the pockets of his pants and followed the group in their pursuit for the wasp.

The persecution was interrupted, as two giant blue-gray feet stomped down in front of them. The intimidating form of MetalGreymon towered over them, with the Emperor on his shoulder as always with a smirk on his face.

Tai gasped at seeing his possessed partner and gripped his fist. "MetalGreymon..."

Matt called out for the two boys at the front. "Davis, T.K stand back! It's too dangerous."

At seeing their expressions of distress, the Emperor chuckled, causing the Digidestined to growl in anger at him. Flymon fluttered towards him with the captive Digimon between his claws.

"Let Patamon go, right now!" T.K demanded. The armors got ready to battle, while Kari and Cody got their Digivices out to make their partners evolve if necessary, while Killua moved behind the group's back to circle behind MetalGreymon's hulking frame and free the small Digimon from the back.

To everyone's horror, the Emperor got a second object from his ropes—A second Dark Spiral. "He has another one?!" Kari gasped.

"Damnit, what are you trying to do?!" Tai demanded as he glared at the kid.

"Isn't it obvious, old timer?" He asked, mocking Tai while having his invention around. "I just created the second Dark Spiral on this world and now I have someone to test it with," He leered over Patamon with a smile. "You should feel honor, you're going to be the guinea pig for my glorious experiment!"

"You bastard, leave him alone!" T.K snapped, his normally calm composure breaking at seeing his best friend about to become one of the Emperor's mindless slaves.

The Emperor sneered down at T.K. "Why don't you shut up while I'm working?" He demanded.

Flamedramon's fist lit up in flames. "Why you little-"

"Wait, Flamedramon!" Davis said. "If you attack you might injure Patamon!"

"But Davis-!" The Digimon tried to protest.

FlyBeemon frowned and stared at the two. "I see the problem. They're too close to get a clean shot at the Emperor."

Davis sighed in resignation. Not seeing a way to help at the moment. "There's nothing we can do."

"What are you waiting for?!" T.K demanded, getting to his face.

"Excuse me?!" Davis asked back, taken back by the blonde's outburst.

"We have to get Patamon out of there!" T.K told him. "You have to attack now to make them free him!"

"And what if I hurt your partner, huh?!" Davis asked back. "Don't you care about what happens to him?! It's Agumon all over again!"

T.K grabbed the front of his shirt and pull him close, with a sneer. "The reason I want you to attack it's because I care!" He growled on his face.

"You're not making any sense!" Davis said, reciprocating the action by grabbing the front of T.K's shirt.

Yolei got on the middle and tried to pull them apart. "Guys! Now's not the time for this!"

The Emperor bursted at laughing by seeing the discussion. "Hahahaha! You rats, what are you doing?! Fighting at a moment like this? This is where you beloved friendship takes you?" He calmed down and turned to Patamon.

T.K stopped his struggle with Davis and glared at the boy at the top of the dinosaur. "I won't let you get away with this! Patamon will never be your slave!"

"And Agumon shouldn't be one either!" Tai said, stepping forward.

The Emperor shook his head and turned around. "Foolishness. If you want your loved partners so bad, then come and get them," He said, moving closer to Patamon to put the spiral on him.

Patamon paled as he saw the object getting closer to him. "W-what? A-are you seriously going to put me that thing?" He started struggling to try and get away from Flymon's grasp.

"Just hold still, it won't hurt... much," The Emperor mock assured. "And so your friends will all see my magnificent and improved experiment."

Seeing as the Emperor was ready to attach that thing on his partner, T.K broke apart from Davis and charged at him with a yell, ready to risk his life for his partner. "Patamon!"

MetalGreymon, seeing the possible interruption on his master's plab, launched his Metal Claw at the blonde.

Tai acted fast and tackled T.K out of the way. "Watch out!" He said as the two crashed on the ground, the claw imbedding itself on the ground a few inches away from them.

The Emperor didn't even batted an eye at the interruption. He just laughed as he saw how Patamon, fruitlessly struggled and squirmed to try and avoid getting possessed by his creation.

"Oi, Kenneth!"

Two Yo-yos were launched in their direction. One of them wrapping around the Emperor's free hand and the other hitting Flymon's torso, freeing him and causing him to drop Patamon, while the Emperor was tugged off MetalGreymon's shoulder and towards the ground.

The Emperor crashed face first on the ground and started to get up to see the toy wrapped around his arm, the cord leading to the hand of one Killua Zoldyck—Who retrieved the second with another tug. "You!" He sneered.

"Yup!" He said. He needed to wait for the right time, when both Ken and MetalGreymon were distracted to attack.

T.K ran to the downed Patamon and scooped him in his arms. "Patamon! Are you okay?"

Patamon nodded. "A bit of a pain on the sides, but nothing serious," He reassured.

Davis was staring at T.K in awe, as if seeing him in a new light. "Did you see that?" He asked Flamedramon. "He risked his life for Patamon."

"You'll do the same for me, right?" Flamedramon asked with a smile.

"Umm sure..." He said. "I mean... Maybe?"

"Yeah may- Maybe?!" Flamedramon asked, offended. He glared at his partner with a hurt look. "How about yes? Or absolutely?!"

Davis eyes went to the floor. He cursed that slip on his mouth. He would do the same for him! ... Right? But... Flamedramon could take care of himself and there was always a way so the two of them didn't have to risk their necks, right?

... Right?

Meanwhile, behind MetalGreymon, Killua launched his second yo-yo at the Emperor's face. He caught it and cursed, because he was still wearing his gloves he couldn't use his ability, and he didn't know what kind of metal this toys were made of. He didn't have to the time to be facing Zoldyck at the moment. "MetalGreymon! Attack!"

The cyborg turned around and opened his chest plate. "Giga Destroyer!" The two missiles were launched at the young Hunter.

Seeing them coming, Killua retrieved his weapons and leaped back. A cloud of smoke was lifted, allowing Killua to run back to the group, while the Emperor jumped back to his slave's shoulder. "What's wrong, Ken?" He asked as he rejoined the Digidestined. "Too afraid to face me again?!"

The Emperor gritted his teeth both in anger and hate. "How dare you!" He asked with venom spitting out of his voice. "You will all regret this! MetalGreymon, attack!"

The Ultimate roared and he launched his claw back at them, causing them to scatter. Killua landed on a crouched position after he dodged the attack with a leap, and turned to Cody and Kari. "Now guys!"

"Leave it to us!" Kari reassured as both she and Cody raised their D-3s. "Digimental Up!"

"Gatomon Armor Digivolves to... Nefertimon! The Angel of Light!"

"Armadillomon Armor Digivolves to... Pteramon! The Armed Love!"

Along with FlyBeemon, the three Digimon shot to the air and kept a distance around the Ultimate. "Remeber, just focus on the Spiral!" Nefertimon said as her collar started glowing. "Rosetta Stone!"

The slab of rock was launched at the blue Digimon, who swatted it away with his metal arm breaking it to pieces. He launched the claw at Nefertimon, who graciously evaded it by flying out of the way. The decorations on her head started glowing and from its eyes pink lasers were shot. They nicked at the Ultimate's skin, leaving small burn marks, but nothing serious to stop him.

Pteramon flew over his head and expanded his wings to deploy his arsenal. "Missile Storm!" The weapons were launched, all impacting against the metallic head of the Digimon, but he didn't seemed deterred by it.

Clicking his teeth, Pteramon flew away from the giant and did a barrel roll to charged at him, aiming for the source of conflict—The Spiral. His wings glistened with the reflect of the sun, as he was going to use their sharp edges to cut it down. But with a speed one wouldn't expect from a behemoth like the cyborg, MetalGreymon turned around and swatted him away like he was a fly, with his mechanical arm. Pteramon spun uncontrollably through the air, before managing to halt. He panted heavily in pain as that attack rocked him to the core. "Did someone get the number of that truck?" He slurred out.

FlyBeemon launched his spikes at rapid speed at the Digimon, but it was nothing more than little stings on him. Seeing as that brought no results, he aimed the stinger on his lower back at him as it started glowing. "Poison Stinger!"

Yet this brought no results either, as MetalGreymon grabbed the attack with his organic hand and threw the armored insect towards the ground. FlyBeemon crashed and bounced on the ground, before recomposing himself. "He's faster than he looks!" He cursed under his breath.

Killua took his turn and jumped straight to the arm, his smaller size allowing him to go almost unnoticed by the giant. He grabbed one of the Spiral's edges and turned his claws on. "Okay, time to end this!" He started slashing at the thing to try and break it, but none of it worked. "What the-?!" Before he could finish the sentence a whip wrapped around his arm to stop him from continuing his assault on the dark object.

"Did you really thought I wouldn't reinforce my spirals so they won't be broken by the likes of you?!" Emperor asked as he kept the grip on his whip.

Killua growled and swiped his claw at the whip, the rope snapping and freeing him. He leaped away from MetalGreymon and landed near Matt, Tai, Flamedramon and Davis. "He took all kind of precautions," He cursed and turned to Davis. "Davis, come on, let Flamedramon attack him!"

"I... I..." Davis stuttered as he saw the fighting occuring. His mind in a swirling conflict on what to do.

Flamedramon looked desperately at Davis. "Please, let me fight!" He begged.

Davis clenched his fist and shut his eyes. "But how can I?! How can I when we're hurting Tai's partner?!"

"Davis!" Tai said trying to get his attention. "It's something we have to do!"

"You keep saying that!" Davis said, turning to him. "But are you really okay with this?! With letting your best friend get hurt?!"

Killua narrowed his eyes. "That's bullshit and you know it!" He growled.

Davis looked away. "I can't... I can't just do this!"

Matt clenched his fist and glared at the younger kid. "Then it's better to sit in the sidelines and let him suffer?!" He asked, stomping towards the boy.

To everyone's shock, Flamedramon started shining and he reverted back to V-Mon. The blue Digimon glaring at his partner. "Davith! Where is your courage?!"

Davis looked at V-Mon and before he could form a response, a roar called their attention. "Metal Claw!" They looked up to see Greymon's metallic arm was shot towards them, more specifically aiming at Davis and V-Mon. Killua moved and shoved the two out of the way, the claw imbedding itself in the ground.

"Tch, missed," The Emperor clicked his teeth. He saw how the armor Digimon regressed and thought it would made an easy prey.

Tai and Matt turned to the three of them. "Are you guys okay?!" Tai asked.

Killua turned and nodded. "Yeah, but you guys go to a high ground! This is getting dangerous!"

Tai was hesitant, but Matt put a hand on his shoulder. "He's right. Trust them, they'll be fine."

Tai sighed and nodded and the two retreated from the battle to watch from a safer place, for now.

As the dust settled, Killua looked at the two under him. "You okay?"

V-Mon nodded. "Yeah, thanks man."

Davis was just silent and clenching his fists. "Damnit, how can they keep us with this?" He finally spoke. "How can they attack Agumon without care?!"

Killua finally had enough, he turned Davis around and grabbed the rim of his jacket to pull him close. "Listen! We are not fighting Agumon just for the laughs! We are doing it because we have to!" He said. "This isn't about what we WANT to do but what we NEED to do!" He said. He forced Davis to look at the battlefield. "Don't you see?! Don't you see the expression on their faces when they attack?! They don't like this! But it's the only way to stop Agumon from suffering!"

"Suffering...?" Davis turned back to glare at him. "Of course he is suffering! You're all ganging up on him!"

"Not in that way!" Killua said. "Agumon is suffering because he is in control of the Emperor! He would prefer to be beaten black and blue before serving that bastard!" He exclaimed. "Just take a good look!"

Davis turned and watched the battle. Nefertimon launched a ray from her crown to MetalGreymon and Kari clenched her fist and bit her lip, Pteramon launched missiles and Cody looked away, FlyBeemon fired his spikes and Yolei grimaced and looked down. Every time they attacked, they were sharing the same pain as Agumon... Then why? Why keep on with it.

"Despite the pain they're feeling this is for the best," Killua said, as if reading his thoughts. "Because Agumon is a friend to the group, even if you younger kids not know him that well, is the reason why they're fighting. It's better to do something you don't want to for the sake of a friend, than do something you want and make things worst."

What Davis' didn't know was that Killua spoke from experience. A flash of a room illuminated by just a window flashed through the Hunter's mind as he spoke. He was staring at his best friend's back as he spoke words he'll never forget.

'You have it easy, Killua. Because... You don't care.'

How much did he wanted to rebuke what he said at the time, but couldn't. Because he knew that antagonizing him at that moment, would just have caused Gon to snap and lose himself... So he had to swallow his anger and keep a cool head to reason with him at the moment.

"In the end, I think that's what friendship is about," He said, getting off him and getting ready to join the fight "Doing what's necessary for the sake and wellbeing of a friend... Even if you don't like it."

Davis stared at the Hunter, then at V-Mon, and then at the fight. Everyone was hurting, they didn't want to hurt Agumon, but that was better than sitting down and doing nothing while he was under Ken's control. Davis gripped his fists. "Damnit, what the hell is wrong with me?!" He got up. "How can I call myself a friend if I don't do something?!"

Killua turned back and smirked. "So, gonna fight?"

Davis pumped his fist. "Damn straight I will!"

At that moment, something started shining in Killua's pocket. He knew exactly what it was as he dug it out: The Digi-egg of Friendship. "It's shining!" V-Mon exclaimed.

Killua looked at it and then at Davis, it was after Davis found this new resolution that the egg started shining. So maybe...

"Davis, take it!" He said, gesturing to the egg.

"Huh?!" They both exclaimed. "B-but I couldn't do it before!"

Killua gave him a determined look. "I think that's about to change."

Hesitantly, Davis reached for the egg. Once he wrapped his hands around it, Killua let go and Davis hold it on his own. "It's... Light as a feather!"

Killua smirked and sharpened his hands as he turned to the ongoing battle. "Then just say the words!"

Davis nodded and turned to V-Mon. "Ready?"

"Ready!"

"Digimental Up!"

"V-Mon Armor Digivolves to..." Just like with Flamedramon, V-Mon seemed to grow in size, but instead of staying on two legs, he went to all fours, as the egg broke in pieces. The pieces covered his torso completly, paws and head. A horn in the form of a lighting sprouted from his head. "Raidramon! The Storm of Friendship!"

Everyone turned as they saw the blue light of Digivolution. "The Digi-egg was for Davis!" Kari exclaimed in surprise.

"But, he already had the one of Courage," Cody said, turning to T.K. "So now he has two?"

"What could this mean?" Yolei muttered.

Meanwhile, Davis and Killua marveled at the sight of Raidramon, feeling a sense of awe at V-Mon's new form. "Wow, partner, you look great!"

"And I'm feeling great!" Raidramon said, getting ready to take off to attack the giant Digimon. "Let's do this!"

"Right behind you!" Killua said, activating his aura and letting electricity flow through his claws. "Time to bring our friend back!"

"And I'm coming too!" Davis said, mounting Raidramon's back. "Everyone else does this, now it's my turn!"

Killua nooded. "Okay then," He turned to the others. "Guys, cover us while we go ahead! Time to bring Agumon back!"

Everyone nodded at hearing their leader's plan. "Got it!"

The Emperor was scowling at the whole thing. Now they had a new Digimon under their ranks. "So what? You think that new form scares me?! Fire, MetalGreymon!"

MetalGreymon opened his chest pls and fired his Giga Destroyer at them, but Raidramon blurred out of sight along with Killua dodging the attack.

Raidramon dashed towards him and his horn started crackling with electricity. "Lighting Blade!" He launched a blast at the dinosaur's arm, but the Spiral didn't budged. "Damnit!"

"Now's my turn!" Killua said, while jumping to try a second time to destroy that thing.

MetalGreymon was about to swat him away, but a flurry of attacks, courtesy of the flying Digimon of the group, blasted him straight in the face, blinding him temporarily and causing the Emperor to hold to dear life on his hair. Taking his chance Killua thrusts his hand forward and lets out a stream of lighting at the object. "Lighting Palm!"

The Emperor was never more thankful of putting rubber on his suit to nullify Zoldyck's attack, because the way MetalGreymon roared in pain at the stream wasn't any consolation. And he praised his mind as his spiral was still intact.

Landing on the ground after that, Killua cursed. "Dang it, it's not working!"

Raidramon appeared at his side with Davis on his back. "Then let's both use our lighting to attack!" He proposed.

"Get on, sparky!" Davis said.

Killua grinned and got on the armored Digimon's back as he charged again. MetalGreymon shot his missiles at them, but they exploded before making contact as they were attacked by Nefertimon and Pteramon. "Go for it!" They said.

He was going to use his Metal Claw, but various spikes were shot at his face, forcing him to cover him. "Now's your chance!" FlyBeemon cheered.

Raidramon jumped and charged electricity in his horn and Killua did the same in his hands. The Hunter jumped and jabbed his claws forward and Raidramon did the same with his horn. "Lighting Blade/Palms!"

The shock was even stronger than before and the Spiral started cracking at the overload of energy, before finally, after so much struggle, breaking apart. "WHAT?!" The Emperor roared in rage.

MetalGreymon's form started shrinking, forcing the Emperor to jump out as an Airdramon passed and picked him up to fly away. Wormmon was the one who brought him as he kept an eye on everything back at their base. "Are you okay?"

The Emperor didn't responded as they flew away.

Agumon fell on his butt and looked around. "Is... Is it over?" He asked, dizziness obvious on his face.

"Agumon!" Tai immediately tackled him into a hug, running out of his hiding spot once he saw the spiral break. "You're back!"

"Tai," He groaned. "Take it easy, it hurts."

Tai separated and grinned at him. "Sorry, sorry, I'm just glad you're safe!" He said, tears prickling on his eyes.

Agumon smiled back. "I knew you would all come."

Away from the heartwarming reunion, the new kids gathered around Raidramon and his two riders. "Guys that was amazing!" Kari said.

"You really showed that prick how it's done!" Yolei cheered.

Davis blinked. "We did it?"

"So it seems, Davis," Raidramon chuckled.

"... We did?" He blinked again.

"Is he okay?" T.K asked, at seeing him repeating the same.

"I think he is still processing what happened right now," Cody smiled.

"Davis, dude, yes we did," Killua said, pating his back. "Come back to earth."

"Now that's how it's done!" Matt took the two by surprise by wrapping his arm around the two and squishing a bit too hard. "Way to use my Crest, kid! That most have shocked the Emperor!"

"No puns about this!" Killua growled under his grip.

"Matt, dude, oxygen!" Davis gasped.

On the way back to their base, The Emperor was fuming. "How could they break my Spiral?! It was the perfect design, one made to withstand discharges stronger than Zoldyck's!"

Wormmon shyly walked to his side. "Ken, they worked together when they fought you, maybe because of that they were able to... Do it."

"Are you saying my perfect design was destroyed by the power of friendship?! Or some anime bullshit like that?!" He roared causing Worm to shrink on himself. "How stupid can you be?! And don't think I forgot what you did with Agumon early today!"

Wormmon gulped and looked down. This day was a complete disaster for him.

Back at the school, Izzy watched the screen with a conflicted look. "Are you sure you prefer to stay there?" He asked Tentomon.

"Someone has to stay to gather info on the Emperor," He explained. "I promise I'll be careful!"

Izzy sighed. "Okay, if you're sure... Good luck, partner."

The screen turned to red and Izzy sighed while turning to the others. Davis was watching his D-Terminal, who now showed the image of two Digi-eggs in it. "I can't believe I actually have two!"

"There's other three out there," Killua said. "That means there's other three Evolutions we can get."

"But it opens more questions too," Izzy said. "Why did Killua lifted it without problem, why did it react to Davis, why wasn't a new Digimon waiting?"

"I think there's no other Digimon waiting for us," Yolei said. "Otherwise there'd be more Digivices out there."

"Just let it rest for now Izzy," Matt said. "Today was a flawless victory for us."

Davis closed his D-Terminal and grinned. "Leave it to me! With my two Digi-eggs I can take on that Emperor prick! Right Demiveemon?" He asked, turning to his partner and crouching.

"Sure! Just like we can count on Killua's lighting too!"

"Why thank you, buddy," Killua grinned, with cat like features.

"No, no, no!" Davis grabbed his partner and started shaking him. "You're supposed to say 'Sure Davis you're so awesome and cool!'"

"Welp it seems Davis still has a bit of growing up to do," Tai smirked, crossing his arms.

"I do?" He asked with a strained smile as he turned to Tai.

"Yup," Killua said, popping the P. "You're loud, still get over your head, and you boast a bit too much."

"Oh come on, don't steal my thunder!"

"I think Raidramon did that already."

"Not you too, Kari!"

Everyone laughed at the teasing as the day came to an end. After so many struggles Agumon was back and The Emperor was without Generals...

...Or so they think.

Walking to his cell, The Emperor looked at the Digimon looked in it. A Dark Spiral on his hand. "General Leomon... Time for some tests."

Leomon's eyes shined in the darkness with a red-blood color. His fangs showing with a growl as he was anxious to serve his master.

"Donezo!"

"Now, I want you to both leave a review of the chapter and answer me a question:"

"If Gon, Killua, Leorio and Kurapika were in the RWBY universe, and formed a team, how would it be named?"

"For those of you who don't know in the web-series RWBY, teams at Beacon Academy are named by the first letter of their name, with the leader's letter being first."

"Example: Team RWBY formed by Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang. Since Ruby is the leader, the R comes first. Or team JNPR formed by Jaune, Nora, Pyrrah, and Ren. Since Jaune is the leader the J goes first"

"So a team with Gon as the leader... How would it be named?"

"Leave Ideas along with a Review!"

"Adios!"
