"Disclaimer: Nothing belongs to me, aside from my cellphone on which I write this story."

"To respect to two reviews (Thank you for them on the last chapter)"

"The first is for an anonymous complaining about Killua going without Killing the Digimon that attacked them:"

"Killua doesn't kill unless is absolutely necessary. This has been shown many times both in this fic and Hunter x Hunter. Those Digimon, on the Champion level, are no threat for him and he could just knock them unconscious. Now, if he's facing someone like Arukenimon... Well, there he won't care if he can just knock her unconscious, he will go for the kill. It all depend on the level of threat or the kind of enemy they're dealing with."

"The second is for N.Ageless. (Mi compañera hispanohablante) she asked, in one of the many points she had about last chapter: When did Killua learned about Diaboromon?"

"Simple: Chapter two of this fic. When he reunites with the Digidestined of the first series."

"Aclarations done. Let's get on with the show."

Dokugamon stalked at them with a hiss coming out of its mouth. Poison dripping from its mouth like salivation, its jaws snapping threatenings as he eyed the ones who fell on its web.

"Come... On!" Davis trashed around, trying to get free from the web. "Okay, secret plan!" He took a deep breath and let out his Ren. "Hyaaaaaah!" He tugged with force using the added strength of his Nen, but even with those he couldn't do anything... And now he was feeling drained. "Agh... Crap..." He panted.

"It's useless," Ken said. "Whatever this web is, it's so strong it can withstood Nen," He was surprised at seeing the boy having unlocked said power, but right now he was more busy worrying about the spider about to eat them, and the fact that his partner was attacking their allies!

"Hey, Ken," Davis said, calling his attention. "Can't you summon something to cut this thing?!" He asked, panic on his voice. "I could rip the page for you!" He said, wiggling his hand to show he was close to grab the book if Ken summoned it.

"It's not that easy," Ken said. "As a condition to the book, only I can give form to the pages. No one else, even if you ripped the page, then you'd only have a piece of paper!" He explained.

"God dang it!" He cursed, then he turned to Cody. "Hey, hey Cody!" He called.

"Pteramon!" Cody called, a slight tremble on his voice. "Please, come down here! We need help!"

Up in the attic, Pteramon dodged a swipe from JewelBeemon and tried to dive down to go on his partner's rescue. "Cody!"

But the Ultimate Digimon blurred on his way and batted him away with the flat of his weapon, same with Exveemon, who tried by any means to get down and get Davis and the others out of the trap.

"Go away, shoo! Shoo!" Davis kept on a brave face as he glared at the spider coming on their way. "Didn't you heard me?! I said shoo!" He was obviously fearing for what might happen, but not to him.

On the position they were in, if the spider continued to come close then... The first one to be eaten will be Ken, followed by him and finally Cody.

Ken had come to the same realization, but he was keeping on a cool head to try and find a solution to their problem. His upper torso was completely trapped, like Davis he had his legs free— And said boy showed it by the way he was trying to kick his way out of the web, but Cody only had his leg trapped, he was sitting up with his torso and arms free.

"Cody!" He tried to call his attention. "Hey, Cody!"

"Pteramon!" Cody's voice was growing desperate, and Ken couldn't blame him, but now wasn't the time.

"Cody!"

"YO, CODY!" Davis' joined on the screaming, which seemed to be enough to snap the boy out of his stupor.

He turned his head to them and Ken relied his plan on him. "You have your hands free, please contact the others with your terminal, hurry!"

His eyes widened in understanding, but then they looked down. He was unsure, unsure if the plan would work. Mostly because it was coming from Ken—Their former enemy. His eyes darted to Davis from a moment, who seemed to be growing irritated by his indecision.

"What are you waiting for, do it!" He barked. "Call Kari, T.C, Yolei, heck I could take Sparky right now! Just call anyone!"

"O-Okay," He hastily got his D-Terminal and started to type as fast as his fingers could do it.

The woman kept a smile on her face as she kept playing her tune, watching with satisfaction the despair on both the children and their partner's faces after she took control over her Ultimate.

Aquilamon swatted away another barrage from the missiles launched by the Flymon. They couldn't keep it forever though, he was growing tired of flying around the house and yet their enemies seemed to still have energy to spare.

The D-Terminal on Yolei's pocket beeped and she fished it out, in the hopes of good news from the others. Her stomach dropped when she read the message.

S.O.S. the woman is controlling the digimon with a flute, inclding JewlBemon. me and the others are trapped. Hlp!

-Cody I.

Yolei grimaced. Cody was usually very careful with his grammar in any sort of writing, for him to have sent such a hurried message must mean they're in a dire situation but...

"So am I," She grumbled as she turned to see the armies of Flymon charging at them. One from one side, and another group by the other.

"Hang on tight!" Aquilamon said as he eyed the two incoming groups. Before they could reach them, he flew upwards and caused them to crash against each other.

Yolei felt a little vindictive at that, and let out a mocking apology. "Oh, I'm sorry!" It was short lived as yet another group of Flymon came flying towards them. She gulped and typed quickly on her D-Terminal. "Sorry, Cody..."

With that, Aquilamon turned and continued to fly, avoiding the stingers that were sent to them.

Cody gulped as he received a negative from Yolei. He turned to the other captive boys. "Yolei can't come."

"Then try with Kari or T.K! Dammit, I hope Killua's with them," The situation was obviously dire if Davis was saying his teammates' names instead of his usual misspelling and nicknames. He also cursed the fact that their leader doesn't have any form of communication device.

"Okay, I'm on it, I'm on it," The boy said, his fingers dancing quickly across the terminal, while also looking at the incoming spider. He prayed that this time their friends weren't in any danger like them...

Thunder resonated across the office room where T.K, Kari and Killua were fending off against the army of Snimon. The Hunter has recharged the reserves for his Hatsu and was now covered on the electric mantle of Godspeed.

He looked around the room and noticed how the mantis were all ignoring him, instead gathering on the shelf were T.K and Kari were hiding and he allowed himself to smirk.

"Here I go," He said as he blurred out of anyone's sight.

T.K was using a book to push the Snimon out of the shelve. He let out a gasp, as the scythe of one of the bugs broke through the book mere inches away from his face. He gulped and continued to push forward with the help of Pegasusmon. "Get away!" He said, throwing the book out and causing the Snimon to fall with the book over it.

"Over here!" Kari gestured, she was hiding with Nefertimon behind large stacks of books. The entrance was too small for the Snimon to enter.

T.K and Pegasusmon ran into the barricade, with Snimon chasing after them but got stuck on the entrance due to their size.

The monsters continued to try and make their ways towards them, until a blue blurr of electricity knock them away.

The two of them blinked and peeked through the entrance of their barricade. With glee, they observed as their leader used Godspeed to knock down the Snimon in the room at an amazing speed.

Killua stopped as he knocked the last one, with a satisfaction smile. He had half a mind to kill them and get it over with, but as long as he could just knock them out he decided to go through it. He only kills when it's absolutely necessary.

"The room is-" His thoughts were interrupted when a window shattered. Many more Snimon started to swarm in into the room. Killua snarled. "-Still infested..."

Kari and T.K grimaced at seeing so many more enemies entering, and in that moment their terminals beeped.

Found the woman. she trapped us. Using flute tobcntrol theb Digimon. Help.

-Cody I.

"Oh no..." Kari muttered as her face went pale. She looked at T.K, who had the same reaction. "We can't go help, not while we're like this."

"We can't..." T.K nodded, but then he looked outside of the barricade. "But maybe..."

Kari looked outside as well. She observed as Killua electrocuted every one of the Snimon that charged through them without an effort, he could easily make a run for it to go to Davis and the others without an issue. The only problem is that that would leave them wide open... But.

"KILLUA!" She yelled to call his attention. "PLEASE, GO FIND DAVIS AND THE OTHERS! THEY FOUND THE WOMAN, SHE IS CONTROLLING THE DIGIMON!"

Killua heard her, loud and clear. He knocked down another Snimon and looked at the two of them. "But what about you guys?"

"We'll be fine!" T.K reassured. "If you defeat the woman, the Digimon will be free and we would go and help you guys!"

Killua frowned at the idea. He didn't wanted to leave his friends alone with so many Snimon coming around, and the ones he knocked could wake up soon... But they made a fair point, he could stop the fighting once and for all, and capture the woman in red in the process.

"Okay then!" He said, charging Godspeed's Lightning Speed. "You guys better stay safe while I'm gone!"

With that he dashed towards the door, barreling through it without a problem and running around the hallways at max speed. He didn't know where Davis' group is, so he would have to check almost every room on the house that they haven't visited before.

His eyes narrowed at the thought of the lady in red. 'If it comes down to it. I'll take her head, so she won't cause any more problems!' Morality can shove aside if it means putting an end not only to this trap, but to the current problems of the Digital World.

The terminal beeped, and Cody for the first time since they fell on the web felt a bit of hope. "Killua is on his way here! He can help us!"

"Okay, that's good, but can he made it in time before we're that guy's lunch!?" Davis asked, eyes darting between Dokugamon and the fight between their partners and the possessed JewelBeemon.

Exveemon caught the blade of JewelBeemon's spear between his hands, he turned to Pteramon and gestured to the woman in red. "Break that flute!"

"Got it!" Pteramon nodded and flew towards her. His wings glistened as they seemed to become sharper. "Sharp Wings!"

Even though he was rocketing towards them with blades for wings, the woman didn't stopped playing. JewelBeemon let go of his spear and blurred in front of her, delivering a hammer fist to the side of Pteramon's face that sent him to the floor and away from his target.

Ken narrowed his eyes as he observed the fight occuring upwards. He cursed his own recklessness, had he waited a bit more then Stigmon would be down and Pteramon and Exveemon could help them. He played straight into that woman's trap. He needed to take responsibility, he had to get the others out of here before he could be devoured by Dokugamon.

He looked over at Cody, who seemed completely defeated after Davis' words. "Is this our end?"

"Don't give up!" Ken snapped at him.

As Cody turned to look at him, he noticed how he was the one closer to their predator. At this rate. 'Ken's the one that will be devoured first... I have to think of something!'

He might not completely like the boy, or want him to join their group after all he did as the Emperor, but he didn't wished death upon him. And to be devoured seemed to be the worts way to go out.

He scanned the room to try and find something that can get them out of the web. He had to keep a cool head and not let his fear dominate him. Right now he was the one that had the most mobility from them, he had to do something!

His eyes widened as they landed his gaze upon the remote of the air conditioner of the room. Said air had the some of the web's ends connected to it. If they could turn it on then...

"If we turn it on, then the blast of air will break the webs!" He said, turning to the boys. "We need to find a way to turn it on."

Both boys nodded determined to save their lives from this situation. Ken looked at the debris that fell with them when JewelBeemon broke the attic's floor.

He grabbed one piece of it with his legs and turned to Davis. "Davis, here. Kick it to the remote!"

Davis looked at his legs, then at Ken, and then at the remote on the wall. He grinned and nodded. "I understand!"

Ken threw the piece of wood he grabbed with his legs and Davis, with a masterful display of his football skills, gave it a bicycle kick that hurled the chunk of wood towards the wall. "Here it goes!"

It hit the remote square on the switch. A beeping sound came from the device and the vents from the air opened to let out a cool blast of breeze. The sudden wave make the web wobble, until the parts connected to the air gave out. The trap collapsed, with Dokugamon falling and hitting its head against a desk, knocking it unconscious.

The group of boys started falling as well, but Davis and Ken latched themselves to threads of the web, with the latter grabbing Cody's leg before he could fall. "I got you! Are you okay?"

Cody looked up at the boy and nodded. "Y-yes."

Slowly they descende from the thread into the giant bed below them. As his feet touched the soft mattress, Davis looked at the hole where his friends were fighting. "Exveemon! Come here, hurry!"

Cody looked up and called for Pteramon as well. "We have to regroup!"

The two turned and nodded to their partners. "We're going!" Exveemon said

"Hold up a moment!" Pteramon said.

That moment of distraction was all JewelBeemon needed to use his Spike Buster against the two of them. He dashed forward with an insane speed and thrusted his spear forward, liberating a shockwave that threw his two opponents down the hole and to the floor below.

Davis and Cody watched in horror as their partners regressed back to their Rookie forms. They extended their arms to catch them before they could suffer further damage from the fall.

Davis looked at the blue Digimon with worry. "V-Mon, how are you buddy?" He asked looking him over.

"I'm fine, just a bruised... Everything..." He moaned.

"JewelBeemon hits like a semi truck," Armadillomon said, eyes spinning after that last attack.

Ken jumped out of the bed, with the Nen on his feet cushioning his fall. "Come on, over here!" He called.

The boys followed him towards the drawer on the room. The Child of Kindness grabbed the end of one of the cabinets and started to pull to open it. Davis set V-Mon down and helped him, their Nen giving them the strength to do it fast. "Let's use this to hide for now!"

Ken jumped and climbed into the inside of the drawer. He proceeded to help the two Digimon in, as their partners lift them so they would go in first. Finally the two boys jumped in, aided by the extra strength of their Nen.

"We're in, now how do we close it?" Davis wondered out loud, looking at the opening of their hideout.

Lady luck must've been smiling at them at the moment, because JewelBeemon charged at them in that instant. He rammed his shoulder against the cabinet, but instead of damaging it as he intended he closed it.

"I guess that works, right?" V-Mon said sheepishly.

Everyone flinched, because not one second earlier they started to hear something slashing the cabinet. On the outside, JewelBeemon was using his spear to try and breakthrough the entrance of his current prays.

Ken clenched his fists as he heard his parents outside. "Damnit. I can't believe I let this happen!" He cursed.

"Could someone explain me how a flute is causing all of this?" Davis asked, looking tired as the adrenaline started to worn off.

"Aside from typical magic from the Digital World..." Cody said with a helpless shrug. "Maybe it's the vibration..."

"That's right," Ken nodded. "If we could block the waves in the air, then the attacks would stop. That or destroying the flute, but... With JewelBeemon in the way..."

"Yeah... It's not going to be easy," Davis said as he slumped down. "We could try and make a run for it, but he is too fast for us."

"You're telling us?" Armadillomon said, resting face-down. "It was two on one and yet he seemed to be in two places at once."

Ken summoned his book. "As I see it we have two options... Either we wait for Killua or... Well, has either of you heard of the moths and the bats?"

"I did," Cody admitted. "A moth can hear a bat's soundwaves, so to they know where to escape."

"There's more to it," Ken said. "Moths create a vibration that stuns the bats by distorting the sound and they escape."

"I'm lost..." Davis admitted, not making heads or tails of the conversation.

"So our other plan is to alter the sound of the flute to snap the Digimon out of their control?" Cody guessed.

"Exactly," Ken nodded.

"And how can we do that?" Davis asked, eyes glowing as a light shine in this dire situation.

Both it dimmed out as both boys slumped. "Trapped here... We don't have a way to do it," Cody explained

"And we don't know what's the exact wave," Ken muttered in defeat. "We have a solution, but we can't put it into practice."

An idea was starting to form on Davis' head. Maybe the guys outside could try and find a way to replicate those vibrations Ken and Cody talked about. But then...

"JewelBeemon?" A voice came from outside. "Is that you? Where are Davis and the others?"

Everyone's eyes lit up when they heard the voice coming from the outside. "Killua!"

Room after room. Killua has been searching, and in each room he found nothing more than Roachmon and Kunemon waiting to ambush him. Luckily, he managed to knock all of those Digimon unconscious before it could escalate.

'Damn that woman and that damn flute!' He cursed in his mind. Of all the things, it had to be flute what causes so much trouble. Seems like something out of a fairy tale or something!

Godspeed was going to ran out soon with all the fighting and running he's been having, but he wasn't going to be quiting any time soon. Again he reached another room and focused Ko on his fist. The impact he caused created a hole that allowed him to enter.

His eyes widened when he saw a tale, jade figure slamming their spear against a drawer. "JewelBeemon? Is that you?" He asked, entering the room. "Where are Davis and the others?"

JewelBeemon ignored him, he continued to lash out against the drawer. Killua was about to call him again, until he heard a tune from above. He looked up to see the woman in red, with the flute on her lips, sitting a top of a wooden beam. Killua's eyes narrowed as he glared at her.

"You..." He growled. "It's time for some answers, lady!"

He focused Nen on his feet and launched himself upwards with the propelling technique. His nails sharpened, ready to take her on. But then she played a tune, and a figure appeared before him slamming their weapon against his side.

Killua blocked the strike but he was sent flying towards a wall. He winced as his back striked the structure and looked up to see JewelBeemon floating in front of him, eyes red and a snarl on his lips.

Killua clicked his teeth. "What am I, an idiot?" He cursed sliding down the wall and landing on a bed. "Of course she got you too..."

"SPARKY!" A voice yelled from the drawer. "ARE YOU THERE!?"

"Davis?" Killua looked at the drawer, blinking in surprise. "Are you guys okay?!"

"We're fine!" Ken's voice said. "But can you do something about the flute? It's controlling the Digimon on the house."

"Sure!" He said. "Already got the memo!"

JewelBeemon charged at him, aiming his spear to his head. Killua moved out of the way, and the weapon was stuck on the wall. Killua jumped and gave him an uppercut and then a powerful jab that sent the paladin flying through the air.

"But first gotta deal with you," He muttered, landing on the handle of the stuck weapon. "Sorry, pal."

JewelBeemon sneered and charged, rearing a fist back to deliver a right hook. Killua charged electricity on both his palms and with them he stopped the punch that JewelBeemon launched, while also dealing an electroshock through the body of the insectoid knight.

JewelBeemon roared in pain as arcs of lightning coursed throughhis body. He dropped onto the mattress, smoke oozing out of his body, and Killua could only watch in sympathy and guilt at having to do that to an ally, possibly even a friend.

His sympathy turned to rage as he remembered who was the true guilty one in all of this. He looked up and decided to make another entrance to himself to that attic. He channeled Nen on his feet and was rocketed upwards as he released it. He put his arms up, fists aiming to the ceiling and shifted the focus of his Nen on them. The ceiling crumbled like paper-mache and Killua found himself in the attic.

The woman whirled around as he emerged behind her, her lips parting from the instrument to let out a suprised gasp. Killua took the chance and dashed at her, and with a kick he knocked the flute out of her hand and sent it flying up.

The Hunter raised his hand caught it with expertise. "It's over," He declared. Then he grabbed the instrument on both hands and snapped it.

The woman sneered and him as her teeth grinded together.

Yolei and Aquilamon flew under a table as the swarm of wasp Digimon continued their relentless pursuit on them, when out of nowhere they just stopped.

"Uh?" Aquilamon stopped and turned around. "What's going on with them?"

Yolei peeked from behind his back, and saw the Digimon looking at each other in confusion, before flying towards a nearby window and leaving.

Yolei's face lit with understanding. "The others must've gotten the flute! Bingo!" She cheered. "Now all we need to do is regroup with them!"

"How...?" Aquilamon asked, tilting his head.

Yolei took out her Digivice. Where theres was static before, now she could clearly see the signals of all her friends. "Bingo!"

T.K and Kari continued to stack books to use as a blockade for the Snimon. When out of nowhere, they stopped trying to get in.

The two exchanged looks of confusion at the unexpected turn of events. When one Snimon suddenly spoke. "Hey, what are we doing here!"

"I don't know, I was sleeping then I was here!" Another said.

"Man, this sucks," A third one said, getting his wings out. "I'm outta here."

"Yea, me too," A plethora of responses similar to that followed as the Snimon flew out of the window.

The group behind the shelves smiled as they realized why the Snimon where leaving. 'You did it, Killua!' Kari beamed. She then turned to T.K. "Now we can find the others!"

T.K got his Digivice out and showed the signals of their friends were now clear for them to see. "Yeah, let's put an end to this!"

"It's over, woman," Killua said, his face neutral as he let the pieces of the flute fall from his hands. "Now you have a lot to answer to."

From the floor below, after not hearing anything from outside from a while, Davis pushed the cabinet a bit to see what was happening outside. He watched as JewelBeemon sat up and shook his head a bit, while also looking up at the new hole on the ceiling and the one were the woman was.

"All clear!" He told the other occupants of the drawer. He opened completely their hideout and climbed out of it.

Ken immediately laid eyes on his dazed partner, and immediately ran to the side of the bed. "JewelBeemon!"

"K-Ken..." He muttered as he walked to the edge of the bed. "W-what happened?"

Ken smiled in relief at seeing his partner out of the spell. "Nothing important," Then his face grew concerned. "Are you okay?"

"My... Body ached a bit," He admitted. "I'm not sure how much longer I can maintain this form..."

"Hopefully..." Ken said, looking up to the woman in red, who was cornered by Killua. "Not much longer."

Davis looked up at the hole as well, a grin on his face at finally having their enemy in a pinch. "Ha! Now what are you going to do without your flute, witch!"

The woman didn't even seemed to hear him, her eyes strained on the white haired boy in front of him. "Anomaly... You're such an annoyance!" She sneered.

Killua's eyes narrowed. "Anomaly? ... How do you know that term?"

The woman didn't said anything, instead she took a step back and allowed herself to fall through the hole JewelBeemon caused when he got possessed by her spell.

Alarmed, Killua ran to the edge of the hole to watch the woman fall— Thinking that maybe she was willing to commit suicide to prevent capture. But to his surprise, the woman twirled in the air and landed on her feet safely. "What the-"

"How did she do that?" Cody exclaimed, surprised to see the feat from the woman.

Ken summoned his book and ripped a page, summoning his tonfas again. "On top of everything, she's a Nen user?"

"No," Killua said, jumping down the hole and using a small burst of Nen on his feet to land safely on the floor. "I didn't felt any form of aura unlocked in her."

The woman chuckled. "Nen, Nen, Nen. That's all you kids can parrot about. I prefer the classics!"

To their horror, the woman's dress exploted, revealing an arachnid torso below that somehow fit in the red clothes. Her gloves were also destroyed when her arms grew in size, jewels like rubies imbedded in them. Her hat suffered the same fate as horns sprouted from her head. And from the lower part of her torso, eight hideous legs sprouted out.

"I am Arukenimon!" The female finally exclaimed her name as her transformation was completed. "The spider queen!"

"Eeeeeugh! That was the grossest thing!" V-Mon gagged.

"Arukeni...mon..." Killua rolled the name on his tongue. "So you were a Digimon all this time."

"Aaaah, I feel liberated from that stuffy dress," Arukenimon said in bliss. "As for you... Well... I don't know if you're fortunate, or unfortunate for seeing my true appearance."

"Fortunate?!" Davis said in disgust. "Yeah, right!"

"Unfortunate it is!" She shot her hands forward and from the rubies on her hand, a pair of red tendrils were shot towards the boy. "Spider Thread!"

At the sense of danger, the Digivice glowed.

"V-Mon Digivolves to... Exveemon!"

"Armadillomon Digivolves to... Ankylomon!"

Using his powerful jaws, Exveemon snapped the red string with a bite. The woman chuckled and continued on her assault. "I have more of thoses!" She said, firing more and more shots.

While JewelBeemon and the boys were all able to dodge the attack, Ankylomon and Stigmon were sent flying through one of the walls, landing on a hallway. Arukenimon cackled as she followed them through it.

At the end of the same hallway, the other half of the group was arriving, having reunited after the other insects retreated from the house. Kari noticed the horrible creature. "Who's that?!"

"We'll figure out later, they seem to be having problems!" T.K said, and Pegasusmon charged forward, followed by Nefertimon.

"Queen's Curse!" Nefertimon fired the beams from her headset.

"Equis Beam!" Pegasusmon added his own blast.

Arukenimon leaped back and dodged the beams. Like the spider she is, she crawled on the wall and leaped to the two Digimon. But Aquilamon got in between with his own attack. "Diving Horns!"

He tried to ram his horns against her, but Arukenimon used his head as a springboard and latched herself in the ceiling.

Nefertimon and Pegasusmon left their partners on the floor and the two, along with Aquilamon charged against the spider.

She puffed out her chest and opened her mouth. "Corrosive Mist!" She let out a green cloud. Entering the cloud brought physical pain to the two armored Digimon, and the arachnid Digimon didn't let out this chance. She launched the red wips and strike them down. "Spider Thread!"

Both fell like sandbags to the floor and JewelBeemon growled while gripping his spear. "You!" He dashed towards her and thrusted his spear forward. "Spike Buster!"

Arukenimon let herself drop to move out of the way, and used her Spider Thread to wrap them against JewelBeemon's torso. The added weight of her body dragged JewelBeemon down, and the woman used her momentum to launch him downwards and slam him with the floor.

JewelBeemon gasped and he started glowing, reversing back to Minomon due to the added damage he sustained from Killua while possessed.

"Minomon!" Ken exclaimed, seeing his downed partner.

Arukenimon cackled as she landed on the floor, looming over the In-Training. "Oh, poor thing. Here, let me ease the pai-Ugh!" She didn't get to say more as Killua nailed an axe kick to her chin, sending her away from the Digimon.

Killua landed with a crouch, and Ken took the chance to scoop his partner away from the horrifying Digimon. "Enough with your crap."

The woman growled and launched a Spider Thread towards the ceiling. It got stuck on it and she used it to lift herself to the ceiling again. "Not even you will beat me in this form!" She boasted.

Killua sharpened his nails and let his Ren flow. "We'll see!"

He launched himself to her with a burst of Nen, rearing his claws back to attack her. The woman dashed as well and four of her legs hit his left side, sending him crashing through a paper door. He bounced on a table and then stuffed his hand into one pocket, he didn't even seemed winded after receiving the equivalent to four kicks in one.

The woman leaped into the room with a growl. "Die!"

Killua sprang back to his feet and hurled his hand forward, revealing he draw out one of his yo-yos. The toy struck Arukenimon directly in the nose and sent her to a trash bin.

The Digidestined and their partners entered the room and observed the fight. "What can we do?" Ken asked them, cradling Minomon on his arms.

"For now, we have to see how Sparky handles things," Davis responded with a frown.

Arukenimon jumped out of the bin and started running around the room. Killua circled around her to find an opening to attack her.

Arukenimon jumped back and launched her twin attack. "Spider Thread."

Killua jumped out of the way of the attack and hurled his yo-yo to her head. The metallic toy impacted against the top of her head and then he proceeded to channel electricity through the cord. Arukenimon twitched and spammed in pain.

She fell to the floor and blinked out the dots on her vision. "H-how?!" How was a simple human beating her?!

"We have to help," Kari said, not wanting to sit on the sidelines of the fight.

"We should," Nefertimon nodded. "We could set a trap for her."

"The dinning room sounds like a good place to set it," Yolei said, then she turned to Ken. "Could you help us? Maybe with your book we could bring out some materials."

Ken hid a grimace. "I don't think we can, my ability is not that versatile," then he offered a small smile. "But I will help in what I can."

"Thank you," Yolei said with a grateful smile, then she turned to Davis. "You try to tell Killua to lure her there!"

"Sure!" He gave a thumbs up and him and Exveemon ran to the ongoing battle.

Killua has wrapped his yo-yos around Arukenimon's arms and was now spinning her around before launching to the ceiling. Her back impacted against the top and Killua jumped to deliver a spinning kick to her skull that sent her down to the table.

Killua landed in front of her and smirked. "Given up yet?"

Arukenimon snarled and jumped back to her feet. She dashed to the boy, who simply jumped out of the way.

Davis arrived at the scene and cupped his hands around his mouth. "Hey, Sparky! Go to the dinning room!"

Killua heard his petition and raised an eyebrow for a moment. "Dining room?" Then his eyes lit with understanding. "Okay!"

Davis mounted Exveemon's back and flew to their destination, with Killua soon following. Arukenimon snarled, and blinded with rage that a mere human was beating her, she gave chase to them.

Cody peeked from a wall to make sure they were coming. He observed as Davis, Exveemon and Killua ran on the direction to the dining room.

"Here they come!" He said as he ran in.

"Is everyone ready?" Yolei asked, looking around the room.

"Yeah!" She received her answer in a chorus.

The three rounded around the corner, with Arukenimon hot on their heels. When she turned too, she let out a gasp at what was waiting for her there.

"Welcome!" Aquilamon and Yolei said, both of them holding pepper shakers on their hands.

They covered her in pepper, getting the condiment on her eyes and causing her to fall from the wall. With watery eyes she crawled around the room, until she was at the foot of two big insecticide cans, Ankylomon towering over the two.

"Hi there!" He greeted joyfully and pressed his front paws on the top of the can.

As the spray bathed her skin, she could feel the burn all around her body. The contents of that can being as effective in her as it would be on any other insect.

She ran away from the spray, staggering around the room with the equivalent of three degree burns all around her skin. She leaned against a wall panting heavily, but that proved to be yet another mistake as T.K and Kari were waiting for her a top of their partners. A cable connected to a nearby plug, but cut down the middle, exposing the electrified copper.

"This isn't over!" T.K boasted.

"It's just starting!" Kari continued, the two of them imitating their leader and jabbing the two ends of the cable on the torso of the woman.

Arukenimon screamed in pain as she received the full force of the electricity from the house. Her hair getting frazzled in the process.

Ken put himself behind her and ripped a specific page from his book and threw it into the floor behind Arukenimon.

The arachnid staggered back and didn't noticed the page taking form until she stepped on it. She looked down to see fly paper below her feet, she tried to move away but it didn't mattered how much she struggled, she just couldn't.

"Now who's the one trapped?" Ken asked, while Minomon threw a raspberry at her.

"Hit her, Sparky!" Davis said, gesturing to their trapped enemy.

Killua took out both his yo-yos with a smirk and proceeded to throw them at her gut. Arukenimon doubled over as the toys slammed against her midsection. Killua then started to slam the back and forth on her gut at a fast speed, with light tugs from him to reel the yo-yos back before slamming them again on her gut.

He finally reeled them back and threw them one last time in a way that struck Arukenimon's chin. The strength of the hit sending her flying, paper and all, before she finally landed on her back, completely immobilized.

The Digidestined stood in front of her to prevent a possible escape, his partners ready to pounce on her in case she tried anything, and Killua at the front to take her down if necessary.

"Give up already!" Davis demanded, crossing his arms.

"We don't want to take your life away," Yolei assured, although she had a hard look on her face.

"It's time to answer our questions," T.K said. "Why are you trying to damage the Digital World?"

The woman just chuckled as she tried to straighten her body, which was hard with the fly paper on her legs.

Ken growled at her sudden laughter. "Answer us!"

She stopped chuckling and looked at them. "Why am I doing this? What a nonsensical question! This is why I live for!" She boasted.

"So what, you're doing this just for fun?" Killua asked, his face neutral and hands on his pockets.

"It's more of a hobby," She snarked back, her smirk never leaving her face.

Kari stepped forward. "How do you change the Control Towers into Digimon?!" She demanded.

"Another nonsensical question," Arukenimon cackled. "None of you, not even the boy genius, know the true nature of the Control Towers! So I don't think I can answer."

Killua's eyes narrowed. What exactly was a Control Tower? At first they thought they were something like radio towers that amplified the power of Ken's Digivice. But now they work completely different. Without the need of the black Digivice.

"Last question," He said, uncrossing his arms. "Five years ago a Digimon was kidnapped from Primary Village, a Digimon with a Digivice. Are you the one responsible for that?"

Ken looked surprised at the sudden question and looked at the others, who all seemed to know what Killua was talking about. The woman for her part just sneered at the boy.

"And what need would I have for a pathetic baby?" She growled. "And a Digivice is useless for me anyways!"

Killua scowled at her. Her tone of voice, it suddenly became more erratic. Her whole demeanor was now on the defensive. "You're lying," He accused. "You do know something!"

"Even if I do I won't tell you anything!" She growled at him.

Nefertimon narrowed her eyes behind her mask. "I see then," She looked at the rest of her friends. "She doesn't seem to be regretting anything of what she did."

"She isn't," Exveemon grunted in confirmation. "If we just let her go, then she'll go back to her destroy everything. That means..."

"Wait, you guys don't mean..." Cody tried to protest. Their Digimon partners all seemed to be considering eliminating the arachnid Digimon once and for all.

"If it has to be done," Ken said, steeling his face. "Then I shall be the one to do it. You guys don't need to get your hands dirty."

"Don't try to play hero, now," T.K said, turning to face Ken. "Maybe we should just look for a place where we can keep her locked, until we get rid of the Towers."

A chuckle from the woman called their attention. "You're all so foolish!" She exclaimed. "That's your biggest flaw! Spider Thread!"

The red wips were launched at Killua, who with a bored expression shredded them to ribbons without even batting an eye.

"T.K, please," Killua said, calling their attention. "Locking her away it's not going to work. Have you forgotten that Blademon is still out there? He could bust her out without an issue, and nothing short of JewelBeemon could stop her. And even then, where would we even lock her in the first place?" His eyes got shadowed by the bangs of his hair. "Ken and Nefertimon are right. She can't be allowed to continue."

"But Killua-" Cody tried again to protest.

"Would you rather let her continue?!" Killua snapped back, looking at the group angrily. "Do you prefer that she continues to terrorize innocent towns, or to make schemes that would kill thousands of bystander Digimon?!"

The tone in which he said it, make everyone, including the evolved Digimon flinch. And Arukenimon... She was starting to genuinely fear for her life at the aura the boy was emanating.

"I told you, to get rid of an opponent, to kill them, it's the last option. She can't be reasoned with, we can't keep her away since she can jump between the Human World and this one," Killua sharpened his nails. "You guys don't have to do anything. I will do this, my hands are drenched in blood anyways."

Everyone gulped at the reminder of Killua's past, while Ken and Minomon were confused. What has Killua done that he can make such a claim?

Arukenimon started crawling back, trying to get space from the former assassin. "W-wait. You can't do this!"

"Why not?" Killua asked. "Why do you have the right to cause death, and me not?"

Arukenimon tried to coming back with a retort. But she was completely petrified for the cold look on the white haired boy's eyes. His blue eyes were like a pit of icy water, one in which she would drown.

Death. This boy could bring death if he wished. He didn't have the same morals as the Digidestined. He did what he taught was the best course of action, consequences be damned.

'And Blademon was able to beat... This?!' Arukenimon thought in panic.

"Those are some strong words for a kid such as yourself," A new voice called everyone's attention.

They looked up at one of the chairs, where a man wearing a blue coat and hat was standing. He had brown gloves, a cane, and sickly pale skin. Only one eye visibility under his hat.

"And who are you?" Killua asked, his gaze changing focus to look at the man.

"Who am I?" The man repeated. "Well, I am..." His clothes exploded, pretty much like Arukenimon's, revealing a body full of bandages. His cane turning into a machine gun.

"Another Digimon!" Ken exclaimed, with the others recoiling in surprise.

"I came to save you, Arukenimon!" The Digimon exclaimed. Yet he received no response from Arukenimon. "I am... Mummymon!"

As he exclaimed his name he poonted his machine gun at Killua and pressed the trigger. Instead of bullets however, it was a blast made of plasma that was sent out of the cannon.

Killua jumped to dodge the attack, but to his surprise, the blast changed courses and followed him. It hit him on the torso and sent him crashing against a glass cabinet. The other Digimon all tried to attack, but Mummymon proved to be more versatile than they thought.

"Snake Bandages!" The wrappings around his arms were launched at the group. They found themselves cocooned by white bandages and falling into the floor. Mummymon jumped down and grabbed Arukenimon around the torso. "Time for a tactical retreat!" He said, jumping away towards a nearby window and escaping the house.

Killua emerged from the cabinet, curs around his clothes but otherwise unharmed. The Digimon reverted to their usual forms to escape the cocoons.

"Just what we needed," Killua said, landing on the floor and dusting himself off. "Another Digimon to deal with..."

The group were exchanging words and ideas after this brief encounter with the enemy.

"So, Arukenimon has another partner," Davis grumbled. "Fantastic."

"What is even going on here?!" Yolei exclaimed, her fists clenched in frustration. "What do they want?!"

"She just said she wanted to continue to cause destruction," Cody answered, looking conflicted. "Didn't you heard?"

"I... I did..."

He lowered his head and pressed his lips on a tight line. 'We're going to fight again? Then, how are we going to deal with them?' He looked over to see Killua approached and turned his gaze away. 'I... I don't think I can follow his way of thinking...' The he remembered something.

He walked up to Ken and gave a light bow. "I'm on yout debt again."

"Eh?" Ken looked confused at his words.

"I thought we were already even after the washing machine, but you save me again from that fall," Cody explained.

Ken smiled and waved off his explanation. "You don't own me anything, you're the one who thought about the air conditioner. That makes us even."

"I'm sorry again for the troubles I caused," Minomon gave a small bow from his partner's arms.

"It's okay," Cody assured the Digimon, then he turned to Ken. "And the air conditioner didn't count, I still want to pay you back for saving me."

Ken just gave a bit of an uncomfortable smile and nodded.

"Yeez, what's gotten into him?" Yolei asked, watching the exchange. Then he turned to Davis. "What's this about owning and debts?"

"I'm as lost as you. First Ken helps Cody, then Cody helps Ken, then Ken to Cody, and I lost track," Davis said with a shrug. He looks down at V-Mon. "What do you think buddy."

"I'm with you. I'm lost too!" He said, cheerfully, as if that was a good thing.

T.K and Kari approached, Killua—Who was staring at the window where Arukenimon and Mummymon disappeared. "Are you okay?" T.K asked.

Killua nodded. "Yes, that blast didn't hurt. It was more the shock of it following my movements that caught me off guard," He explained.

"What will happen now?" Kari asked. "Now we have to deal with three of them: Arukenimon, Mummymon, and Blademon."

"I'll tell you what we won't do," He said, giving T.K a side-glare. "Not locking them away and leave it at that!"

T.K sighed. "Look, I just said that to give them," He subtly gave a nod towards the rest of the group. "Some peace of mind. But... I think you're right... We will have to eliminate them."

Kari frowned and looked back at their friends. "I hope they can be able to deal with that fact..."

"They have to," Killua said harshly. "They'll have to understand that there's sometimes where you can't just stop your opponent by beating them. Sometimes you'll have to put them down for good. We all know that."

T.K and Kari somberly nodded. Devimon and Myotismon coming to mine respectively for them.

"But before we eliminating them," Killua said, turning back to glare at the window. "We will discover what did they do to that Digimon and the Digivice!"

The veterans nodded, thia time with conviction. They weren't going to to let them go unpunished for what they did to that Digimon.

Running across the desert was a yellow car that has two passengers in them. Mummymon and Arukenimon, both back in human form.

Mummymon was in the wheel, while Arukenimon was on the passenger seat. Her form was slouched to the side, and covered in a blanket due to the destruction of her dress. She hasn't uttered a single word since their retreat.

"Umm... Is your wound okay?" Mummymon asked, but received no response. "Well, don't worry. I'll take care of you until you're back to one hundred percent. And I'll even make you a new dress!"

She continued to say nothing, and Mummymon was starting to get nervous. "O-okay, I get it. You're angry because I didn't attacked the Digidestined, it was a stupid decision. I apologize."

Arukenimon just continued to look at the road. Her mind drifting to those eyes... Those cold, bottomless eyes. 'Forget the Digidestined. The Anomaly, the Anomaly is the true menace to our plans. We have to start moving ahead, forget about Blademon's desire to kill him. We have to make the preparations to create the Master's final weapon, and let it destroy the Anomaly once and for all!'

The car continued racing across the desert. Their passengers ready to commence the second phase of their plans.

Y'all know who's coming out next chapter. Best antagonist of the season... Until I bring a certain clown.
