I'm really liking your reviews!"

"Anonymous: No. Tai and the others will not receive Nen. I already have a hard time with ONE generation of Digidestined."

"Anonymous: Sorry. There will be shipping. :P"

"Ageless N: COMADRE!

1-I saw both

2-Toriyama did it better than me DX. And well... I'll try to fix the Holy Stone arc as much as I can.

3-Awww no theories? Bummer.

4-Put them! I think they will make cute couple. (Or I just think that because Kari is best girl)

5-Bye bye por ahora!"

Killua stood in front of the Digidestined with a critical look on his eyes. The five children were All concentrated on their cups, pouring their Nen into them. Sweat was gathering on their foreheads, but their faces didn't showed away stress or discomfort into using the activation of their aura.

T.K's control on the leaf was almost fluid, it moved from one place to anothe. Slowly, but it did. And contrary to Zushi, the only other Manipulator Killua has seen do the test, he didn't seemed to be struggling as much. If Killua were to judgement them the same way Wing did, then he would have already graduated the straw haired boy.

Cody's cup was producing small pieces of dirt on the water, yet at a really slow pace. He might need a bit more practice, but he was almost there.

Davis' water rippled, the color shifting between the blue color his aura created and the natural, crystalline color of the liquid. Like T.K, he would have been approved by Wing, Killua hypothesized.

Yolei seemed to be struggling the most, her brow as wrinkling in concentration and her hands were tensing around her cup. There was no true way of telling how much her Nen was affecting the cup, one of them had to taste them to see how much the flavor has changed.

And finally, Kari certainly came as a surprise. The water was flowing freely from the cup. It was certainly not Gon's levels of flowing, since the cup hasn't shattered yet, but nonetheless the level of water overflowing was good.

"Okay enough," Killua said, clapping loudly her hands.

The flow stopped and collectively they all took a deep breath of relief, some more deep than others. They didn't immediately collapsed, so that showed progress.

"Okay everyone listen," Killian said. "You're all making good progress on using the Hatsu. So after a few sessions more, like two or so, we should be able to move on to the next stage." Killua sighed. "Which takes me to the other issue: Piximon's offer... What do you guys think?"

The atmosphere grew tense at the reminder of the proposal of the small pixie. They could gain a lot of experience there for the equivalent of four hours, but for them it would be four months. Away from their families and other friends. It was... A hard decision for most of them.

T.K raised his hand. "I'm all for it," He said, catching everyone by surprise, except for Killua who just gave him an expectant look. "I'm not talking for the others... But I already had an experience similar to this during our first adventure. And if it helps us against our newest enemies, and without calling our families attention, then we should do it."

Killua nodded, honestly expecting that response from T.K. It might have been five years for him, but he was obviously still the same kid that was the first to agree in going to the Server Continent when they learned of its existence during their first adventure.

Kari frowned and clenched her fists. She remember the frustration she felt when she woke up after BlackWargreymon... well happened. And an opportunity for this was too good to be wasted. "I agree," Kari said. "We can take this chance to do more good."

Killua almost smiled at seeing the determination of the girl. Glad to see she was on a better mood than when she awakened on Gennai's house. Maybe his pep talk did worked after all.

Then his thoughts went stray to her smile and her hand over his and he killed them quickly. 'Get your mind out of the gutter,' He scolded himself. Now wasn't the time for that.

As he heard her words, Davis' knew it was his time to act. If Kari was going, there was no way he was going to leave her alone with T.C and sparky. And if he gets some time away from his sister and some sweet-ass superpowers then it was a win-win. "I'm in, too!" He said waving his arm around.

Cody and Yolei looked the more conflicted. The girl more than the boy. Cody didn't wanted to left his mother and grandfather behind for four months... But if it was what it had to be done to keep the Digital World safe from BlackWargreymon and its—Or, well accordingly to Killua, his—creators, then he would agree. He... He was sure his father would have done the same. "I... I don't want to be left behind. I will go in too!" He said.

Yolei bit her lip as she watched everyone come to a decision. Yet she wasn't so sure herself. 'It's for four months. It's everyone just ready to stay away from home for four months? One week to stop Ken was almost too much for me!' She thought nervously. 'But... I... I suppose I should go too. I'm the Child of Determination, if I falter now then my Crest will never glow.' She sighed. "I'm... I'm in."

Killua noticed the hesitation of the last too. He looked down and bit on his inner cheek, they needed to be completely sure... He had to drive a point home to them. Not only to Yolei and Cody, but to all of them. "Listen. Four months might sound like a lot, but it truly isn't. Not unless we go all out."

As he spoke, a heavier atmosphere started to form around the group. They knew it was coming from their leader, it wasn't the first time he did something like this, but it didn't make it any less unnerving.

"To make sure this works, we would be stepping into a fine line between overtaking and a proper regimen," He sighed and closed, time to make his point. "In simple terms..."

The atmosphere grew tenfold and the kids all hundled together. Suddenly remembering that their leader was a former assassin.

Killua opened his eyes. Suddenly more cold than usual. Not a look he would give his enemies, but one that sent shivers to their spines. "I will put you through hell."

Everyone gulped immediately. The four months they could spend on Piximon's training area, Killua would probably turned them into four years out of sheer physical training with Nen.

Killua reeled back the small drip of Killing Intent. "That was just a test of what you guys would probably feel like during training. So tell me... Are you all up to this?" He asked again.

Despite the... Frightening taste of what Killua planned to do with them in the training sessions on the forest, T.K and Kari nodded back at him, although they had sweat running down their foreheads.

The rest were a bit more hesitant in doing it. Davis was still adamant on his earliest thought on process over a win-win, and so was Cody thinking that it was for the best of the world that they do this.

Yolei however did it more out of... Social pressure. What would the others think if she was the only one to back down? Her?! The Child of Determination backing down! She couldn't do that!

With their responses still being positive, Killua nodded. "Good. Glad to see you guys are ready. But I suggest we take a day before leaving. Make sure BlackWargreymon, the witch, and the mummy don't try anything. I know it'd be only four hours, but many things could happen in that span of time."

"And what would we do if we cross BlackWargreymon again?" T.K asked, knowing that their odds against the dark Digimon weren't that good.

"Yeah, I don't think even JewelBeemon would be able to scratch it," Davis said and then pointed at Killua. "I mean, just look at how it left sparky."

Killua gave Davis an annoyed glare at the reminder, while also rubbing his bandaged hands subconsciously. What he says rang true, their next encounter with the artificial Digimon could be even harder.

"But if we don't find him, then we will go to the forest to grow stronger, and then we could have a chance to beat him... Right?" Cody spoke his reasoning, although he sounded dubious about it.

"Maybe. But there's also another thing we can get to sort out," Killua said. "The Crests. Maybe in those four months we can get them to react."

"Bingo," Yolei said, feeling a bit more motivated. "With all of our partners in the Ultimate level, us with Nen, along with Ken, Killua, and JewelBeemon, then we can defeat him."

"Are you sure the Crests can glow in the span of those four months?" Cody asked.

"We can always try," Killua said. "And T.K and Kari used to have them, so maybe they can give you pointers."

The two of them seemed sheepish at that. They didn't exactly know how to use a Crest, it just sort of... acted when they had a certain thought during a pinch. And they have yet to figure out how to make their traits glow on their own.

"But beating BlackWargreymon would only be the beginning. Remember that he isn't affiliated with the woman," Killua said.

"True. It just flew away and disobeyed orders from what you told us," Yolei said, suddenly feeling glum again.

"Then that means he's a wild card. An enemy that could have his own agenda," Cody theorized.

Kari looked up at the moon of the Digital World. While what Cody said could be truth, it was also worth mentioning that if he wanted, BlackWargreymon could have killed Killua during their fight. And yet he spared him, only saying he wanted to face him on his own terms. "I wonder where he could have wandered off by himself..."

Her muttering called the group's attention. She noticed, but didn't looked surprised or bothered. "I mean, what can he do? He was only born to fight, and yet he hasn't caused any destruction yet."

That... Was a fair point. Aside from his attack the moment he woke up, BlackWargreymon hasn't truly done anyway wrong yet. But... All of the Digimon born from Control Towers had traits from the darkness, sooner or later it would end on that... Right?

"K-Kari? Are you... Feeling worry for BlackWargreymon?" Yolei asked hesitantly.

"No, that's not it," She responded with a headshake. Although she didn't further explained what she was feeling.

Davis shrugged. "I won't find it strange. Unlike you, Kari is a very kind and sweet girl."

"Excuse you?!" Yolei asked. Already on a warpath, ready to tear his head off.

"What, just saying the truth," Davis shot back with a frown.

"Enough," Killua said, raising a hand in a karate motion. They tensed and stopped, knowing Killua would hit them otherwise on the head.

"Not to point out the obvious, but I would like to destroy as many Control Towers as we can," T.K said. "I don't want to imagine what would happen if they create another Digimon like that."

"I doubt it," Killua cut in. "After BlackWargreymon turning out the way he did... I doubt Arukenimon would try and create another Mega without taking some extra measures. Doesn't change the fact we will destroy towers tomorrow, as usual. Understood?"

"Osu!"

As everyone sat up to leave the training area. Yolei couldn't help the frown that showed up on her face. 'Davis is right on one thing though, I am not like Kari in some aspects I wish I was...' She said, looking at the back of the girl. 'She always acts without hesitation, as if circumstances don't bother her. I wish sometimes that I was like that.' She thought with an inward sigh. So much for being the Child of Determination...

The sun was at its peak, but covered by the thick and talls trees of a jungle full of humidity.

A loud grumble, like that of a beast, resonated across the jungle and caused all of the Digimon present to stiffen. Numemon's peeked from behind bushes, Baby Digimon all huddled together, and Champions tensed as their instincts told them to hide.

An imposing figure made its way through the jungle. Its footsteps causing tremors with each stomp, and the air growing denser around it.

Then they all scattered when two quick swings caused a couple of trees to fall down. Whatever this creature was, no Digimon wanted to be on its way.

BlackWargreymon walked into the jungle quietly. Anything that got on his way either escaped or was cut down, like trees and rocks. He stopped on the middle of the clearing when a chattering noise caught his attention from behind.

He turned around to see a red insect perched on a tree, looking at him with its no-existent eyes with pure fear.

BlackWargreymon turned around and ignored them. No one in this forest was worth the effort. The effort for what?

He wasn't sure. He wasn't even sure where he was going, or what he expected to find. What was the purpose to continue walking...

Purpose...

"You were created to destroy... And nothing more..."

The words of that cloacked Digimon resonated through him. He was created to destroy, as a tool, nothing more.

He didn't believed that. At least not completely. He enjoyed the thrill of the fights but... There had to be something else. Otherwise he would be mindless, like others created from the towers were.

He will find answer... He will.

He walked down the forest. Never looking behind.

Across the desert, the new vehicle of those who produced the artificial Digimon raced on the sandy road. A new feature added to the vehicle, a tracker of negative energy. Perfect to track down their rogue creation.

"This imbalance is caused by his path," Mummymon infored his partner. "We follow it, we find BlackWargreymon."

"But where is he going?!" Arukenimon hissed. Her arms covered in bandages, as well as other parts of her body covered by her dress.

"If we knew then we could set a trap, couldn't we?" Mummymon said with a sigh. "Though I don't think it'll work with that guy..."

"Stop talking nonsense! We have to caught him! He is the first half of the weapon!" Arukenimon hissed, her voice having an edge of despair in it. "Hit the gas, you imbecile!"

"Right, right!" Mummymon complied and hit the gas, the vehicle left a trail of dust behind as they chased their creation.

Unbeknownst to the rouge Digimon, the Digidestined were also making a trip through the same forest to take out as many spires as they could.

However, the group didn't know BlackWargreymon was there either, and both sides were practically on two different extremes of the jungle, so the chances of a meeting this soon were close to none.

For them it was another satisfactory day of destruction on Spires. And yet one of them had different thoughts on her head.

Yolei stared at Kari from behind. The thoughts of last night's training session becoming something she's been pondering all day. 'She sometime acts without hesitation yes, but she also keeps a lot of things to herself. I guess... That's why I don't get what she thinks most of the time...' She shook her head. No use of thinking of that, today... Today was a big day... A day waaaaay too big.

Gatomon stopped as her ears suddenly twitched. Her eyes narrowed as she looked around. "Uh?"

Kari noticed and stopped. "Gatomon? Is everything okay?" Kari asked.

"I..." Gatomon shook her head. "I thought I heard something in the forest."

Killua turned around, hands folded behind his head. "There's plentiful of Digimon in here. You're bound to hear something."

"No, it was more... Like a call. Like there was something calling for me," Gatomon said. "Must be my imagination though..."

However, all of the Digimon suddenly tensed and their ears twitched. "I can hear it too," V-Mon said. "It's like... A whisper?"

Gatomon nodded at the apt description. "Yeah. It's soft..."

"It's coming from deep in the forest," Armadillomon commented. "That's weird. Can't you guys hear it?" He asked the humans.

Killua tried to sharpen his senses to see what they were talking about. "I can't hear anything..." He revealed. "And what is the whispering saying?"

"It sounds like they're... Asking for help?" Hawkmon said, scratching his head.

"For help?" Kari echoed.

Gatomon's ears lowered. "I don't know where is it coming from though..." She admitted.

Killua frowned and cupped his chin. "This smells fishy. How come none of us can hear it? What if it's a trick from Arukenimon and Mummymon?"

"And if it isn't?" Armadillomon said back. "A fella could be in trouble and we would just go out on our merry way."

"He has a point," Kari told him.

Killua looked at the expressions on all of their faces. The moment they heard the possibility of someone needing help, their resolves seemed to steel themselves. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I am not going to win this argument, am I?" He muttered outloud. "Fine! We'll look but only for a while!"

"Great!" Davis said pumping his fists. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get searching!"

Yolei leaned closer to him with a mischievous look. "You sound very eager to go looking all of the sudden, Davis."

"Are you putting on a brave show to impress... Someone?" Cody said, looking subtlety at Kari, and not even he could avoid the small smirk on his face.

Davis' face got red in both embarrassment and slight anger. "AND WHAT IF I AM!?"

He felt a small nudge on his knee and looked down to see V-Mon with a small grin on his face. "Got get'er, tiger."

Davis grabbed his partner in embarrassment and started shaking him. "WHERE DID YOU EVEN LEARNED THAT PHRASE!?"

Chuckling at the boy's antics served to calm down the sudden tension of the mysterious voice the Digimon were hearing. "Okay, okay," Killua said, calling the attention. "I think it's obvious that it'll be the best if we split in two groups of three."

Davis dropped V-Mon as he heard this. Yes, there would be a third wheel with them, but this was a nice chance to have some time with a Kari. He couldn't let it pass!

"Hey Ka-"

"Killua, Yolei, can we group together?" Kari asked the two.

Yolei seemed surprised by the proposition, but Killua shrugged his shoulders. "Sure, no problem."

"Great," Kari looked down at Gatomon. "Would you lead the way?"

"Sure!" She responded and walked into the forest, the new formed group following her.

Davis just stood there. Frozen. Not only did he missed the chance, but Kari was going with Sparky. SPARKY! His head dropped in defeat. "Dang it."

He felt a nudge on his knee and looked down at V-Mon giving him the same grin as before. "You'll get her, tiger!"

Davis grabbed him and started shaking him again. "WHAT DID I TELL YOU!? DON'T SAY STUFF LIKE THAT!"

T.K and Cody exchanged looks before giving a sigh and a shrug. They would have to find a way to calm Davis down first, before finding this mysterious voice.

On another part of the forest, Ken and Wormmon looked at the message from the boy's D-Terminal, it was from Yolei, informing them of where they would be this time around.

Yet, the moment they stepped a foot in the forest, a chill ran through Ken's body.

Wormmon looked at the area with apprehension. "This place... The atmosphere feels too heavy."

Ken gave a grunt of agreement and started to look around. Mist covered the area due to the humidity of the trees, and yet its presence felt unnatural. As if it didn't belonged to the area.

His eyes suddenly widened when he saw something beyond the lines of trees. Something that chilled his blood to the core.

The Ocean...

He submerged his Digivice into the dark waters. It's shape changing and becoming black. A presence behind him introducing something in his body.

He gripped his head and let out a blood curling scream as the memories invaded his brain. Wormmon's head whipped around and stared at him with worry. "Ken! What's wrong?!"

Ken didn't listened, he just dropped to his knees and continued to scream while grabbing his head. That place, that's the place where he was born. Where the Digimon Emperor was born. And now it seemed like it was calling him back...

Killua's group walked through a bunch of trees while Gatomon's ears constantly twitched, while Hawkmon kept an aerial view for them. "Are you guys sure the voice came this way?"

"It's faint whispers," Hawkmon said. "But we are certain it came from around here!"

Killua shook his head. This was getting ridiculous. They've been looking around for a while now and nothing seems to show any sigh of the owner of this mysterious voice. Even if it was a Digimon in problem, they weren't making any advances in finding them.

"Guys, hate to be the bearer of bad news," Killua said crossing his arms. "But we aren't finding anything, and the others would have already told us if they did."

The girls and their partners exchanged looks of uncertainty. He brought up a fair point. Hawkmon and Gatomon exchanged looks, they've been certain that they heard something, and yet they found nothing. The cat let out a sigh. "You're right. Maybe we should stop, guys."

The news were disheartening. The idea of leaving someone in need of help behind left a bitter taste on their mouths. But what else could they do? When they aren't finding any kind of lead towards the source.

No one said anything else for a while, until a scream came from the forest and caused everyone to tense. Specially because it sounded familiar to all of them.

"That's Ken's voice!" Kari gasped in recognition.

"Wait wha-" Yolei started asking when, but was cut off when the girl took off running. "Hey!

"Wait!" Killua said, running after her.

"Kari!" Gatomon called, and took off after the two. Hawkmon and Yolei following.

It didn't took long for Killua to catch up to her. They ran side by side, in a hurry to check on what seemed to be the pain of the sixth Digidestined. "This doesn't seem to be trick," Killua said, a frown of worry on his face.

"Guys! Hold up!" Yolei said from behind. Despite all the training, she was still slower than the two. "What's wrong?!"

"Didn't you heard? That was Ken's voice, I'm sure!" Kari said.

Yolei almost came to a stop when realization hit her. Of course Ken was there, she told him where they would be in case he wanted to help them in taking down towers. 'I hope he is okay...' She thought in worry and picked up the pace.

When they found the Child of Kindness, he was kneeling on a clearing grabbing his head and whimpering in pain. Wormmon doing everything in his power to try and soothe him. "Ken, talk to me! What's wrong?!"

"Wormmon, Ken!" Killua called out. Both Kari and him skidding to a stop and kneeling in front of the boy. "What is it?"

"Are you injured?" Kari asked, looking at him with worry, while also searching for injuries.

"Is it BlackWargreymon? Is he nearby?!" Yolei asked, looking around the forest.

He didn't answered right away. He whimpered and clutched his head, but nothing more. "T-The Ocean..." He muttered. "I saw the ocean... A dark, dark ocean!"

Both Killua and Kari gasped at his words. Flashes of their experience on that mysterious world coming back full force again. "The Dark..." Killua started.

"...Ocean..." Kari finished. Her eyes gaining a haunted look at the memory of that place.

Yolei for her part was just confused. "Dark Ocean?" She looked around, her mind trying to understand the meaning behind their words. "This place is certainly a bit dark, but... An ocean?"

Ken pushed himself back to his feet with a bit of struggle. "I'm... I'm okay," He tried to assure, but no one believed him by the way his body was swaying.

"Take it easy," Killua said, giving the boy a bit of support.

"Let's get you out of here," Kari said, imitating her leader and offering herself as a crutch to the boy.

Yolei couldn't help the pang of jealousy she felt when she saw Kari so close to Ken, but she squashed it quickly and just continued to look for answers. "So, what's all that about an ocean?" She asked, as they started to walk away.

"We'll explain later," Killua assured, making sure to help Ken stay on his feet.

They had explained the situation with the ocean to the group when it happened. But that was a long time ago, and no incident has happened involving it whatsoever. It was normal most of them could have forgotten about it.

And as they walked away from the forest, they didn't noticed it. But their bodies started to flicker with static, and their bodies seemed to slowly drain from any kind of color.

The world of darkness was dragging them in, without them noticing.

Armadillomon suddenly stopped moving and his body tensed. He looked around for a moment before quirking an eyebrow. "Hmm? Well that's weird..."

"What is?" Cody asked his partner.

"The voice... I can hear it anymore," Armadillomon said. He turned to his fellow Digimon. "And you guys?"

V-Mon looked around and then he shrugged. "Nothin'."

Patamon flapped around, his blue eyes looking around the forest before sighing. "Me neither..."

T.K frowned and crossed his arms. "Please a mysterious voice asks for help and then it just stops talking... Killua was right, this is way too fishy."

Davis grumbled at hearing that phrase. "Of course he is," He crossed his arms behind his head and sighed. "So, what now?"

"We should go home," Cody said. "It's getting late."

"Yeah. I wanna take a bath," Davis' said, taking out his D-3. "Gonna check where Kari and the others went."

He looked at the screen of his device and did a double take. Aside from the usual red and pink dots that represent Kari and Yolei, there was also a black one, which represents Ken, but then out of the sudden all three of them vanished.

"What the-" He mumbled. "They're gone?!"

"What?" T.K and Cody asked and fished their Digivices. The screen showed the same as Davis', all three dots vanishing.

T.K's eyes narrowed. "I have a bad feeling..." He mumbled. "We have to look for them!" He said, taking off in the direction where the signal last came from.

"Hey, T.C, wait for us!" Davis yelled as he and Cody ran after the blonde.

Killua's group stopped walking when they took a good look at their surroundings. "Don't you guys feel we've been walking in circles?" Kari asked.

Gatomon looked around the area. "Maybe we got lost in the foliage..."

"What?! No way," Yolei exclaimed. "I saw a documental like this once! We could die and our bodies be found later on!"

"What's with the sudden morbidness?" Killua asked her with a deadpan.

Yolei didn't listened, she suddenly saw someone walking through the trees. Her face lit up in happiness. "Hey, that's Davis!"

"And V-Mon!" Hawkmon added, happy to see the blue dinosaur.

Everyone shared their relief. That meant they weren't completely lost after all. Yolei raised her hand and started waving at the boy. "Davis!" She called out, before running towards him. Hawkmon following close.

Davis seemed to have noticed her, as he started running towards the same direction as her. The group was about to meet up with the brunette when he suddenly phased through Yolei, as if he was a ghost.

Or as if she was one...

"W-what just happened?" Yolei asked, turning back slowly to look at Davis.

The boy didn't even noticed her, he was looking around with a worried frown on his face. "V-Mon, did you heard that? Was that the same voice you heard before?"

"Nah, it was different, Davith," V-Mon said.

"Guys?" Kari asked, stepping in front of Davis'. "What's wrong?"

"We're right here!" Ken added, trying to put a hand on his shoulder, only for it to go through him. "Huh?!"

Killua frowned at the whole scene. A chill went down his spine as Davis ran through him, literally, without acknowledging his presence. "This sensation..." He muttered.

Turning around, they watched as Davis ran deeper into the forest. "Sparky! Kari! Yolei! Ken!" He called, trying to find any clue of his whereabouts, completely ignorant they were right in front of him.

"Guys... I believe we're not on the Digital World anymore..." Killua said, looking at the direction where Davis' went.

"Wh-... But-... Then WHERE are we!?" Yolei screeched, feeling more nervous with each growing second.

"... A place where no one should be..." Kari said, rubbing her arms almost as if to try and keep herself warm.

The three boys gathered on a path of the forest. "Did you guys found something?!" Davis asked.

"Nothing," Cody said, shaking his head.

"They couldn't have gone so far away!" Patamon said, worry in his voice. "They couldn't just poof away like that!"

T.K frowned. Last time something like this happened it was only Kari who disappeared, and for some reason the port was close, but now it Yolei, Ken and Killua were included. Does this have to do with that weird world Killua mentioned?

He gave a sigh. "We need to comb through the whole forest," They had to make sure they weren't there at all. "Let's take it to the sky."

"Good idea, T.K!" Patamon praised.

"It has some merit," Davis said grudgingly. "V-Mon, let's do it!"

"Sure!" V-Mon pumped his fists.

"Us too!" Cody told Armadillomon.

"Leave it to me!" The yellow Digimon assured.

Pegasusmon, Exveemon, and Pteramon all appeared on a flash and took off to the skies, to try and find some clue to where their friends could be.

The atmosphere on the forest seemed to grow heavier with each step the group took. And the trees seemed to decay and rot, as if they got drained from all life.

Ken squinted his eyes as he tried to look ahead. "The mist is growing denser..." He mumbled.

No one commented anything else. Both Killua and Kari kept their guards up in case something tried to take the jump on them. If this was the same world as that ocean, then those things could appear again.

Yolei looked at them with conflicted a expression. She didn't understood why they were suddenly so tense in this place. It was creepy, yes, but beyond that everything was dull.

"Hey! How about we try and sing something! To keep the cheer up!" She asked, trying to keep up her boisterous attitude.

They didn't responded. She frowned.

"Then how about some games?" She tried again, but they all kept quiet. "Like, you know, some cards... Oh, wait! I didn't brought any! Man, what a klutz!" She laughed nervously while scratching her head.

Once again she was ignored. The three of them were too focused on rationalizing a way out of their predicament.

"What happens if we can't get out of this place," Ken mused, his eyes going to the ground.

"That won't happen," Killua said. "There is a way to get out of this place."

"That's right," Kari said. "If we truly want to go back, or someone wants us to get out, then a gate will open for us." She reassured.

Yolei frowned. Why didn't they tried to say that from the beginning?! Why keep her out of the loop out of the sudden?!

She stopped walking and stomped her foot. "Hey!" She called, causing everyone to stop. "Do you guys think I'm dumb or something?!" She snapped.

"Eh? What's with the sudden question?" Killua asked raising an eyebrow.

"Why do you say that, Yolei?" Kari asked with a head tilt.

"Yes, you do!" Yolei continued to snap. Her stubbornness coming out on full force.

"We don't!" Kari exclaimed, confused at Yolei's sudden outburst.

"That's definitely what you think!" She said, stomping past them with anger, Hawkmon following hurriedly from behind.

"But, Yolei-" Kari tried to say, but the bespectacled girl didn't seemed in the mood to listen.

Ken and Killua just watched her go with different looks. Killua had an annoyed glare on his face, while Ken looked at her in mere confusion. "What's her problem?" Killua asked with a scoff.

Walking ahead, Yolei's fuming eventually subsided and she let out a sigh. Her snapping at them like that wasn't okay, she's the one who wasn't asking the right questions, instead she just tried to play things off. "Man, I went and did it again," She sighed. "Talk about a short fuse..."

"It was wrong on you to do that, that's right," Hawkmon admonishment. "You should turn around and go back with... them..." Hawkmon trailed off as they stopped walking.

In front of them was a big gorge. It was a dead end for their road.

"Just what we needed!" Yolei whined, her form slumped down as she looked down at the gap bottom of the crag. Her eyes widened when she saw something twinkling at the bottom. "What's that?"

"Hey, Yolei!" From behind, she heard Killua and the others calling for her. They reached her and frowned when they saw the gorge. "A dead end, huh..."

"Yeah," Yolei said, as she crouched down and got ready to climb down. "Though I think I saw something down there, it might be important."

"For something so random?" Killua asked, and by the look on his face he was questioning her sanity.

"Better than to wander around aimlessly," She said, climbing down slowly.

Hawkmon looked at her with worry. "I can always just flap down and pick it up."

"Don't worry," She repeated herself. "I'll be fi-" She was cut off as her foot pressed on a loose step and she slipped, losing her grip on the edge of the crag. "AH!"

Kari acted rapidly and caught her arm, preventing her fall to the dark abyss below. Yolei looked up with a trembling smile. "T-thank you, Kari..."

"Hang in there!" Kari said, trying to get her back up.

"Keep a tight grip!" Killua told her as he moved to join, along with Ken.

But then, all three of them actually looked at the abyss below. Their eyes shrank in horror when they saw waves crashing against the wall of the gorge.

Ken went back to screaming bloody murder, while Killua fell back on his butt due to the scare, and Kari lost her strength and tripped down to the ravine. Falling, alongside Yolei in the darkness below.

"Kari/Yolei!" Gatomon and Hawkmon jumped down to get their partners, leaving the two boys and Wormmon behind.

"Ken! Ken!" Wormmon shook his leg to try and get him to respond.

"AAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Ken fell to his knees while gripping his head, feeling like it was going to burst.

Killua sat back up panting slightly after seeing the waves. When he saw them... It felt like he was being pulled down towards them. That he was going to be overwhelmed.

"Ken... Ken!" Killua said, sitting up and taking the boy by the shoulders. Ken only groaned and shook on his boot as he clutched his head. "Ken! Snap out of it!"

Yet, no matter what he did, his words didn't get through him...

He gave a sigh of frustration. "Sorry, dude..." He said, clenching his left fist.

Ken didn't saw the uppercut coming until his feet were disconnected from the floor. He landed hard on his back, his Ten not being up fast enough to protect him.

"Ken!" Wormmon gasped and went to his side. Then he glared at Killua. "What was that for?!"

Ken sat up and looked at the white haired boy, who gave him an apologetic look. "Have you snapped out of it?" He asked.

Ken cupped his chin and winced in pain, but nodded anyways. Killua offered him a hand to stand up again. "Thank you..."

"It's okay," Killua responded. "What we both saw down there, it freaked me out too..."

"What do we do now?" Wormmon asked. His anger quick to leave him as he saw the punch helped Ken.

Killua looked at the crag with a frown. "They should be able to use Nefertimon and one of Hawkmon's evolutions to fly up but... They might've gotten hurt." He turned to Ken. "Can you use your book, summon a rope or something?"

Ken summoned his book without a second of doubt and started flipping through pages. His face slowly becoming a grimace. "I... Don't have anything like that."

Killua's eyebrow twitched. He has bombs, guns, swords, and knives, but a rope eludes him?!

"I-I can solve it!" Ken must've noticed his expression, as he ripped the very first page of the book to summon a pencil. "It will be crude, but I can draw one to use."

"Good," Killua nodded and walked to the edge while Ken started drawing.

He peered through the edge with caution, almost expecting to see those dark waves again. He gave a sigh of relief when nothing strange happened and then cupped his hands. "YOLEI! KARI! ARE YOU GUYS THERE!?"

"...olei... Yolei!" Her eyes opened slowly to see Kari's worried face on full display. "Are you okay?"

"...Kari?" She asked slowly, sitting up.

"What a relief," Kari sighed with a smile. "Tell me, are you hurt?"

"No, I'm okay, don't worry... Where are we?" She quickly noticed they landed on a piece of boulder on the wall of the gorge, not so deep as they could still see the top where they fell from. "And what was that thingy I saw before?"

"All of that for a shiny thing, you're so reckless sometimes!" Hawkmon scolded, causing her head to drop.

"It was this," Gatomon said, revealing a broken piece of a Dark Ring.

"A Dark Ring?" Her head dropped further. "Out of all the things I could grow reckless for, it has to be a Dark Ring."

"Mah, it's not a big deal," Gatomon said, throwing the broken ring over the edge. "No one's hurt, now we just need to get out."

"She's right," Kari said, bringing out her Digivice. "Yolei, ready?"

"Yeah!" She said getting her D-3 out. "Hawkmon, do it!"

"Hawkmon Digivolves to... Errr..." Hawkmon blinked as he noticed his body wasn't changing. "Um... I can't..." He revealed.

"W-w-what do you mean you can't?!" Yolei asked, looking panicked.

"Well... I-I don't know but maybe you should-" Hawkmon tried to say, but his partner was busy panicking.

"Then how are we going to get out of here!?" She asked, holding her head. "How and moreover above of us there's only foliage! And Davis and the others can't see us!"

"Yolei, listen-" Gatomon tried.

"We're going to die here and all left behind will be our bones!"

"Yolei-"

"I can't take it! I don't want my life to end here! I DON'T-"

SMACK!

Yolei flinched as a sudden sting invaded her cheek. She craddled it and looked at her side to see Kari with her palm down after delivering the slap. A stern expression on her face that slowly melted in a regretful one. "Sorry..."

"No, it's okay, it was my fault..." Yolei muttered, cradling her cheek.

They sat in an unsettling silence for a few moments, before a voice from above called them out.

"YOLEI! KARI! ARE YOU GUYS THERE!?"

They all perked up as they recognized Killua's voice. Hawkmon cupped his wings around his beak. "WE'RE ALL OKAY!" He assured.

"DON'T WORRY, KEN AND I WILL GET YOU OUT SOON!" He reassured. "JUST WAIT UP FOR A FEW MOMENTS!"

Hawkmon turned to Gatomon. "Maybe we can climb up and help them out?" He suggested.

"Good idea!" She nodded back and the two make their way up the gorge, leaving their partners behind momentarily.

The silence continued for a few moments, before Kari spoke. "Yolei, right now... You must be feeling pretty defenseless right?"

Yolei grimaced at that, but could help but accept it after her pathetic display. "Is that how I come across?"

"It's not that," Kari assure. "It's just that I get how you feel... You're handling better than me the last time I was dragged here. I... Honestly envy you a bit."

Yolei's eyes widened in surprise. She envies her?! But... That didn't sounded right. This was the same girl that is a veteran and the one who trained with Killua first than everyone else. A girl who has better physical skills than her due to it! What was there to envy from someone like herself?

"H-How so?" She stammered to ask.

"In the way you express yourself," Kari said. "I can't just... Scream my way out when I feel frustration like you do, or outright tell how I feel... I think it's why this world continues to drag me to it... Because I always keep my feelings bottled up.

"This world...?" Has she been bottling up her feelings on this? On how scared she is of being here, as much as she is.

"I don't want to... But there's nothing I can do to avoid it," She expresses, a bitterness on her eyes that Yolei has never seen before. "Because I keep things to myself, the darkness calls me. And maybe it's the same for Ken..."

She wanted to say something to encourage her. But there was still so much on her mind that she just couldn't find the right words.

A rope suddenly fell behind them. "CLIMB UP!" Killua said from above.

The two girls emerged from the edge with the help of the rope. Yolei stretched her arms and let out a giddy laugh. "We finally got out!"

"Sorry it took so long for me to make the rope..." Ken apologized as he dismissed the object.

"Hey, it's okay," Yolei reassured. "At least you had a solution ready to help us out. Better than to be sitting ducks."

"I suppose..." Ken mumbled, scratching the back of his head.

"Speaking of solutions..." Killua gave the two girls a deadpan stare. "I get that Hawkmon can't evolve for some reason in Aquilamon but... Didn't you guys at least tried to get FlyBeemon or Nefertimon out?"

The two girls froze and Yolei's head almost touched the ground from the utter shame she felt at not thinking about that. "It's all the fault of that stupid Dark Ring!" She whined.

"A... Dark Ring?" Ken muttered in surprise.

Yolei looked up. "Yes! Out of all things it was a stupid Dark Ring that was down there! As if we didn't had enough with them befo-" She cut herself up as she realized who she was talking to. "Ah! Not that I blame you or anything Ken! It was my fault for deciding to go look for it!" She said, waving her arms in front of her.

"Pfff..." Kari tried to stiffle her giggles at the girl's demeanor.

"Kari! Don't laugh!" She whined, red faced.

"I-I'm sorry!" She said between giggles.

Ken just stared at the two and then back at Killua. The boy had his eyes closed and his lips on a thin line. He turned to Ken and gave him a helpless shrug.

Kari's giggles suddenly stopped when she suddenly felt a shiver and her body tense as she heard a distinctly sound. She sat up and looked around.

"Kari, what's wrong?" Killua asked.

"I hear... The ocean," She says before taking off running back into the forest.

"Kari!" Both Yolei and Killua call out for her.

The girl ran across the forest as fast as she could. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore echoing on her ears and causing the hairs across her body to tense up. She stopped her running on a cliff at the edge of the forest, and in front of her was what she feared.

"The Ocean..." She muttered. "It's calling me again..." She clenched her fists.

The rest of the group didn't took long in reaching her. Both Killua and Ken freezing when they saw the dark waters ahead of them. "So it's this place again..." Killua said with a glare.

"The Ocean..." Ken muttered, the headache didn't came back, but he felt a light migraine.

"Ocean? What ocean?" Yolei asked looking around. In front of her eyes were only trees. "This is the same dull forest!"

"That's right..." Hawkmon agreed with her. He tilted his head to try and see a new perspective, but it was just a forest to him.

"What does this ocean wants with Kari?" Gatomon asked with a low hiss. "What does it want?!"

"You guys have been here?" Ken asked Kari and Killua, noticing they were the ones seeing the ocean as well.

"Yeah..." Killua said, looking at Ken. Memories of their time here and how the things living on this world were trapped by Dark Spirals coming to mind. Then he frowned. 'Ken looks uncomfortable like us by being here. Then... Why did he tried to conquer this place?' It just didn't seemed to add up.

"All this talk about the ocean and this world," Yolei muttered rubbing her head. "And I just can't see it!" She whined out loud.

Just as she said that, the world seemed to morph around them. The ocean appeared for Yolei, and they suddenly weren't standing on a cliff, but on a shady shore.

"O-oh... So this is the famous Ocean..." Yolei mumbled, feeling the creeps.

Killua looked around at their surrounded. Unlike before where they were surrounded by a canyon of sorts, with a nearby town and bay with a houselight, now there was nothing but a beach and a forest far behind them. 'It's the same world, but a different location...' He rationalized.

"How can we go from the Digital World to this place?" Ken mused. He didn't remembered much from the first time he was there, but he arrived from the Human World. This was different.

"Whatever the case..." Yolei said, looking at the dark waters. "We need to leave this place..." She said with a shiver.

As they rode on their vehicle tracking BlackWargreymon down, through a road full of Control Towers, Arukenimon noticed the figures of four of her hated enemies standing on a cliff not so far away, their figures flicking out of reality with static, like a broken TV.

"Look at that," She told Mummymon, pointing at the kids. "They're trapped in the world of darkness. This is a good chance to finish them off." She sneered.

"But we can't move out of course," Mummymon pointed out. "Otherwise we might lose track of him," He said, looking at the radar showing BlackWargreymon's signal.

"I know that, you idiot!" She snapped, grabbing strands of her hair and plugging them out. They became rigid on her hand and she threw them to the air. "Desintegrating Hair!"

The needles imbued themselves on ten of the towers aligned to the road. They levitated off the floor and merged together in an Ultimate Digimon.

"For a being like you, entering that world shouldn't be a problem," Arukenimon told her creation. "Go! Get rid of those peaky children!"

As the car drove off, the fake Ultimate made its way towards the cliff where its preys were waiting.

It was overwhelming. The feeling Kari was having was overwhelming. She could hear it, a whisper, a faint whisper coming from the ocean. Tempting her to dive into its waters and lose herself.

"No..." She whispered, holding her head and dropping to her knees. "They're calling me! They... They're going to come for me!" She whimpered.

"Kari, what is it?" Gatomon asked. All of the attention zeroing on her.

"They'll come..." She mumbled. "They'll want to drag me there..."

"They?" Yolei and Ken echoed, wondering what she meant.

Killua knew what she was talking about. Those creatures that they encountered the last time they were there. The ones who wanted to draw Kari towards the ocean. She was afraid they would come back to drag her down with them.

'Over my dead body,' He thought immediately. He took care of one of them with ease before, let them come if they dared!

From behind, they heard something similar to a shredding sound. They turned around to see an eye apparently appear out of thin air, then another one appeared. Then the whole face of the creature was revealed, revealing a yellow head with petals, and the body of a plant.

"What is that?!" Yolei asked, Digivice in hand.

"Blossomon," Gatomon told them. "An Ultimate."

"Because of course it is," Killua snarked, sharpening his claws. He then noticed something behind the creature. "Uh?"

Behind Blossomon was a rip in space with its form. Showing the way to a far more colorful forest. This thing had just opened an exit for them without even noticing.

"There! If we can get pass it, then we can get out!" Killua exclaimed.

The light that was coming from the rip bathed the hole group. Their monochromatic forms slowly regaining color.

"What did just-?" Yolei asked, looking down at herself.

"Yolei!" Hawkmon called out. "Try again now!"

"Uh? Oh!" She raised her Digivice. "Go, Hawkmon!"

"Wormmon!" Ken called, raising his Digivice and summoning his book.

"I'll get right into it!" Wormmon said with conviction.

"Hawkmon Digivolves to... Aquilamon!""Wormmon Digivolves to... Stigmon! Stigmon Ultra Digivolves to... JewelBeemon!"

Killua's Ren erupted around him and electricity crackled around his fingertips. "This should be easy..." He muttered. Worn an Ultimate, two Champions, and himself, it should be.

"Kari, stay behind me!" Gatomon said, her ring shining with intensity and filling her with energy to fight.

Kari just nodded unsurely, but then another shiver ran down her spine. Slowly, she turned around to the ocean and let out a choked scream.

From the ocean something was rising. Its red eyes were the first thing to be seen. It twiched and spammed erratically, almost as if it was in pain. Its appearances was like of a blob of black mud, with only the red eyes as a feature.

It was one of them...

Then its shape started to change. With sickening squelches it started to take on a different form. Mud morphed into vines, and its shapeless head took the form of a flower. Soon, in front of them, was a muddy version of Blossomon.

"W-what the heck...?!" Yolei trembled as she saw this whole spectacle.

"Now there's two!?" Aquilamon exclaimed.

During this hole exchange, Kari was gripping her head in pain and fear. Her whole body trembling and tears of terror gathering on her eyes.

Gatomon's eyes widened when she saw the creature. Something from its roar sounding familiar. "T-that's..." He ears twitched. "The voice! The voice I heard on the forest!"

Aquilamon clenched his teeth as he reached the same conclusion. "There's no doubt, it's the same!"

Killua started at the horror show in front of him with apprehension, and then his eyes narrowed when he heard Gatomon's and Aquilamon's conclusion. 'So it was this place's doing all along!' Then he noticed Kari's state. They couldn't stay any longer. For her sake, for all of their sakes, they had to get out of here.

"Listen up!" He said. "Aquilamon, JewelBeemon, deal with the first one!" He ordered. "Ken, you will help me to take down the new one, cover my back!"

"Right!" Ken knew what to do. The same he did when they fought Blademon together. He ripped a page from his book and a Calico M950 appeared on his hands.

"Gatomon, Yolei, keep Kari safe!" He told them. "In this state... She might be an easy target." He didn't wanted to label her like that, but in her current state it was the truth.

"Right!/R-right!" Both Gatomon and Yolei, said respectively, both gathering around Kari.

Both Blossomons roared and launched their vines at them to attack. Killua and Ken leaped away from the attack of their enemy and started to circle around it to find an opening to attack.

Aquilamon dodged the strikes, while JewelBeemon destroyed the vines with his spear. Aquilamon flew over the creature and opened his beak to attack. "Explosive Rings!"

The round blasts impacted against the face of the monster and made a small explosion, but as it cleared it revealed to have done zero damage to it. Blossomon swung one of its vines against Aquilamon, slamming it on his side and sending him to the floor.

"Aquilamon!" JewelBeemon called in worry, but then he had to go on the defensive against the vines attacking him. "Damnit!"

The two boys for their part against their opponent were fairing no better. They had to constantly leap out of the way of the vines, since they didn't had aerial advantage like the two Digimon on their side.

Ken tried to take aim, but with him constantly dodging the attacks it was proving to be really difficult. "No good..." He muttered as he jumped out of the way from the slimy vines.

Killua noticed his predicament and an idea came to mind. "Ken! Blind it!" He exclaimed.

The Child of Kindness heard him and dissipated his gun in favor of summoning back his book. He took out another page, and as the object formed on his hand he threw it at the face of the enemy.

The slime monster, swat it away, but then the object revealed itself as a stun grenade. Both boys covered their eyes as it detonated, and the monster let out a howl of pain as it was momentarily stunned. "GRAAAAAAAAH!"

"Now's our chance!" Killua said, charging straight to it and forming electricity on his palms, while Ken summoned his book again.

Killua jumped over to the monster's head, while Ken summoned an electric baton from his pages. Killua placed his hands on the monster's head and smirked. "Lighting Palms!"

At the same time, Ken slammed the tip of the baton on the botton of the monster's body.

It roared and twitched in pain as the two sources of electricity ran across its body, yet it managed to hold itself together despite it all. Its vines started to move to try and swat the boys away, but they noticed and leaped out of the way in time.

They landed near each other and observed as the monster took its time to recompose itself. "Seems it's not going to be that easy..." Killua muttered in annoyance, while Ken nodded.

Over with the girls, Yolei and Gatomon were trying to snap Kari out of whatever trance she might be trapped in. "Kari, please!" Yolei pleaded. "Everything is going to be okay! Ken and Killua are dealing with that thing at the moment, it won't hurt you!"

"Kari..." Gatomon muttered in worry. Never having seen her partner so shaken.

Kari continued to tremble while grabbing her head. "They'll come... More of them will come..." She whispered as she clutched her head.

She could feel it. The water was drawing closer. Wanting to submerge her for whatever reason. Wanting to drawn her and overwhelm her.

"I don't want to... Don't take me..." She whimpered as the grip on her head became tighter. "Please... Please don't take me..."

"Kari, come on!" Yolei tried to shake her out of it, but it was useless.

Back on the fights, JewelBeemon gripped his spear tight and prepared to attack. "Spike Buster!" He charged against Blossomon.

The plant acted fast and thrusted his vines forward. They wrapped against JewelBeemon's spear and then used his momentum to spin him around and throw him to the floor. "Ugh!"

Ken noticed his partner's state and changed his focus to him. "JewelBeemon!"

This momentary distraction was all the slime needed to almost hit the Child of Kindness with one of its vines. Luckily for him, Killua put himself between the two to cut of the vine before it impacted. "Focus! We can help them when we're done!" He told him.

"R-right..." Ken said, readying his baton again.

Aquilamon's horns started to glow as he skydived towards his opponents. "Diving Horns!" His attack did nothing but bounce on the plant's torso, who used the teeth of one of his vines to bite on Aquilamon's torso. "Agh!"

"Kari, come on! Say something!" Yolei continued to try to get the girl to react.

"I can hear it..." Kari muttered. "The voice of darkness... Is calling me... It swallows me... I can't take it anymore!"

Yolei scowled and raised her hand.

SMACK.

Kari blinked as she now sported a red mark on her cheek. "Hang in there!" Yolei said. "If you hear that voice calling you again, then I'll scream so loudly that it'll go away! If it's drowning you then I'll swim down to bring you up!" Her eyes set up in determination as she looked at Kari, while gripping her hands with her own. "We're all with you! If you say you can't, then we will push forward for you!"

"Yolei..." She slowly blinked as she snapped back to reality and a smile formed on her lips. "Thank you..."

At that moment two lights emerged from the girls. One from Yolei's pocket and the other from Kari's chest. Yolei fished out the object from her pocket, the Crest of Determined burning with passion on her hand. "This is..."

The Crest started floating along with her D-3 and a slot was opened at the side of the Digivice to allow it to enter in it. Both Crest and Digivice merged together at last.

"Yolei this means..." Kari said in happiness while also gripping her Digivice.

Yolei smiled as her D-3 slowly came back down to her hand. "Kari... With your light guiding my determination... We will get out of here!" She said as she raised her Digivice.

Kari nodded. "Right!"

Aquilamon sat up as he felt new strength cover him, while Gatomon grinned in anticipation.

"Gatomon Ultra Digivolves to... Angewomon!"

"Aquilamon Ultra Digivolves to..." Aquilamon was covered on white fire that caused his hole form to morph. What came out was a magnificent creature that resembles the legendary hippogryph, his feathers a pure white and an armor covering his chest. His size was the same as Aquilamon. "Hippogryphmon!"

"So that's..." Yolei started, watching her partner's new form in awe.

"Hawkmon's Ultra form," Kari finished.

Angewomon turned to Hippogryphmon with a smile. "Deal with Blossomon. There's no doubt it is a Control Tower in disguise."

"I can sense that," Hippogryphmon said. "And what about you?"

Angewomon turned her gaze to the slimy monster. Who had stopped attacking the boys after witnessing the light emanating from her. She scowled at it. "I'll teach that monster to stay away from my partner!"

Killua observes the look on Angewomon's face and grinned while letting his Ren calm down back into Ten. "This fight is over," He told Ken.

"I suppose it is," He said with a smile. Seeing the new Ultra forms on his side.

The two Ultras charged at their respective opponents with a righteous fury on their eyes. The Tower Blossomon tried to use his vines again, but Hippogryphmon opened his mouth and lauched his attack. "Heat Wave!" A super heated blast escaped the mouth of the winged beast and completely vaporized the vines, and eventually the fake Digimon as well.

Meanwhile, Angewomon extended her arms and her light concentrated on an arc. "Celestial Atmosphere!" The blast was launched towards the slimy monster, it screeched in pain before being completely vaporized like his counterpart.

A pillar of light was visible in the middle of the forest, and the rest of the Digidestined stopped their searching as they saw it. "That must be where Kari and the others are!" Davis pointed out.

T.K didn't doubted twice. "Let's go!" He told Pegasusmon and they flew in said direction, followed by their friends.

As the last bits of their enemies were finally erased. The Dark Ocean seemed to vanish before them, leaving them on a cliff overlooking the green forest.

"We're back," Killua said in relief. He turned to the rest of the group. "Is everyone okay?"

He received rounds of positive nods. And aside from some scratches here and there, it was obvious they were fine.

The three Ultimates lowered themselves to the ground and reverted back to their In-Training forms, except for Angewomon who went back to being Salamon, her Rookie form.

"Poof!" Poromon sighed. "That form is tiring!"

"You'll get used to it!" Salamon and Minomon chirped helpfully.

It didn't took long for the group to be finally reunited after such a long day. And now they had the chance to put the rest of the group up to date with the events of that day.

"So Hippogriyphmon!" Davis said while crossing his arms. "Man, when am I going to get the Ultra form?"

"Don't worry, Davith! We'll get there soon!" V-Mon assured him.

As they made small talk, Ken stood up, Minomon on his hands. "I'll be going off now," He said.

"Thank you for the help today, Ken," Yolei said with a small smile.

The boy gave a nod back at her and took his leave with his partner.

Yolei watched him go as she stood up with Poromon on hands. 'I think I understand Ken a little better after today...' She turned her head to Kari, who was petting Salamon despite her obvious attempts to hide just how much she was enjoying it.

T.K approached Kari with a small frown. "That world... Is the same you and Killua got dragged in before right?" He asked, worried that his friends had to go through that.

Kari nodded. "Yeah... But if it tries to call me again," She looked at all of them. "I will be ready." She told with a smile, knowing just how exactly she could repel the call of the darkness.

"Damn right you'll be," Killua said from behind the group, staring at the forest below. "Tell me, are you all ready for tonight?"

The question caught them by surprise, but they all knew what he was talking about.

Tonight. On their usual training sessions. They will go to Piximon's training grounds.

The Hunter received determine nods from the hole group and he smirked. "Good. But for now, let's go back and rest. I think we had enough emotions for the day!" He said with a small chuckle and folding his arms behind his head.

Everyone agreed to that and got up to go back to the Human World. Soon, they would go through a task that will prepare them for the challenges to come.

An in that dark world. Hidden beyond the turbulent waves of the Dark Ocean, the lord rulling the beings luring under the water, was feeling completely enraged at the events that had unfolded on his domains. All within the walls of his palace.

His red eyes glared down at his subjects. He towered over them like a furious God, while they kept theory heads bowed. "The Child of Light... Has rejected my call again... And the Anomaly has collaborated in taking her away from my grasp."

"How should we proceed then, All Mighty Dagomon?" One of his subjects, his Deadmon, asked with a tremble on his voice.

Dagomon glared down at them before walking around his domain. "A new breed of Deadmon will rise soon... My Daemon Corps... They will drag the Child of Light to me. And get rid of those who gets in the way..." He said, as he gestured to a group of big, muddy eggs. No doubt made of the same substance as the ocean. "As for the Anomaly..."

The outsider. The being from a world that isn't connected to theirs like the world of humans or the one of the Digimon. The being that brought that mysterious energy within himself.

"I won't leave anything to luck. My Daemon Corps will be powerful... But they might not be enough... I need an equal for the Anomaly..." His red eyes glistened with malice. "And what better...

Than the previous Anomaly?"
