"Reviews. Please, please leave a review on this chapter. It was so hard to get it done."

"Felipe1402XZA: Ah, otro hispanohablante como mi comadre.

Glad you liked the conversation between the tree. And now BlackWargreymon is more neutral than in the show, he just wants to finish his 'brother' not destroy the stone just because he wants a strong opponent.

Yeah, it's something I had in mind for a while.Well it was just the idea of a fic. Though I been thinking about different scenarios of it. Like Whitley being nicer, and becoming like Ruby entering Beacon at a young age.

Let's see if your predictions hold true this chapter.

And this idea has merit! I'mma right it down."

"whataboringlife: Sorry for the waiting! Here's the conclusion to that!"

"Zero Fullbuster: Glad to have you on board as always pal! Here ya go!"

Blurs of white and blue crashed against each other on the desert as the sun continued to set. Agumon hid behind a rock as he watched the sword and the nails impact against one another and liberate sparks that fell on the sand.

Killua charged forward, his nails raising to block an incoming slash from his opponent. Blademon pushed him back, continued with quick slashes despite the size of his sword. Killua was forced in the defensive, his nails moving to keep the edge of the blade from cutting his skin.

Blademon parried him and blurred out of sight. Killua didn't dropped his guard, so he was ready when the hooded Digimon reappeared again from behind—sword ready for a swing that would have taken the boy's head, had he not turned and block in time.

Agumon's eyes were glued to the spectacle in front of him. He knew the Reaper was strong, but stronger enough to go against his friend? That was something completely new.

Killua skidded back, gritting his teeth as the force of the latest blow carried him back. He glared at his rival, who glared back at him. Blademon's eyes shifted from blue to red, he gave a grunt and blurred out of sight again.

Killua barely had time to rise his hands to block an overhead swing. Blademon thrusted forward, Killua sidestepped and thrust his right hand at him. Blademon raised his arm and the claws bounced against the gauntlet and pushed the hand aside, leaving Killua wide open for Blademon to bury the butt of his sword on the boy's gut.

Killua's eyes buldged, he pressed his lips to avoid air from escaping, the blow sending him bouncing on the floor. He quickly rolled and got back to his feet, hands ready to continue to block the swings from his opponent.

Blademon's eyes narrowed and they finally set themselves on the blood-red color, replacing their natural electric blue.

Killua noticed. 'What is up with his eyes? It's almost like the effect of a Dark Ring,' He knew for a fact that it wasn't the case, there were no more Dark Rings or Spirals. 'Maybe it's for an attack?'

"Have you recovered your breath?" Blademon asked, obviously wanting to taunt. "Are you ready to continue then?"

"Tch," Killua's Ren exploded around him and he cracked his knuckles. "Damn straight I do, dumbass."

Inwardly he frowned. 'I say that. But there's something different about him. He's faster, and stronger. I can feel the strength behind his swings. And then there's his Tiger's Hunt to worry as well...' He gulped. 'He said it, there's no one to let his concentration slip... Then the answer is both obvious, and a real pain.' He thought, raising both hands to prepare for an attack.

Blademon tightened the grip on his sword. "I can't," He said, his body shaking. "I just can't hold the excitement in me..." He said, starting to crack up with chuckles. "No interruptions, only a lizard hiding behind a rock as an ally, I can feel it—In my bones. Killua Zoldyck..."

He raised his sword and pointed its tip at him. "You will die here, today." He declared, red eyes glowing brightly under the darkness of his hood.

Three months after the defeat of Apocalymon. Things continued to be in peace.

In Primary Village, Elecmon took care of the eggs and newborns. And so he didn't notice a new egg appearing.

This egg was formed by golden particles on the air. It was white on the top, but the rest was all blue.

A part of it broke and two curious blue eyes peeked at the world...

Accompanied by a beeping sound coming from it.

The rest of the shell went out of a poof of smoke and formed a crib for the newborn Digimon to live in. The Digimon on itself was a SnowBotamon, with peculiar blue eyes, on its mouth was a white device, used by those who've saved the world before it was born.

He looked around and then blinked, for the first time noticing the device on his mouth. He blinked again and started sucking on the device as if it was a pacifier, his face soon turning into one of bliss.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" A voice said. He turned to see a red Digimon, bigger than him, smiling kindly at him. "You..." He blinked in surprise before smiling at him again. "Wow, I didn't expected to have someone that object," He patted the SnowBotamon's head with kindness. "Guess you're special little guy. Even your eyes have an unique color for your kind."

SnowBotamon beamed at the praise. He didn't understand why was he being praised, or why was this device he had on his mouth, or his eyes, so special. But he beamed nonetheless. Happy by this environment, happy to be alive.

Yet he felt the need to do... Something. A single word bounced on his mind, as well as images almost printed on his eyeslids.

A white haired boy with shining blue eyes. Various expressions on his face: Happiness, sadness, anger, disgust, fear. It didn't mattered, he would recognize him either way, and he will eagerly wait to meet him.

"Well my child, my name is Elecmon," The kind Digimon introduced himself. "You are a SnowBotamon, and a really special one at that," He cooed, patting his head. "Now, wait a minute while I go make a call to a friend of mine. I'll be back with dinner for you, and the rest of the babies."

SnowBotamon nodded, not forming words as he continued to use the device as a small chew toy. Elecmon walked away and the white Digimon looked up at the sky. The sun was setting and stars were starting to peek from the sky, while the word continued to bounce on his tiny skull. A single word that filled him with warmth and anticipation.

'Killua.'

He was getting stronger.

Killua grimaced as he continued blocking the swings from his opponent. After his eyes turned red, Blademon's strikes started to become more heavy and powerful. He could feel his arms shaking with strain as he parried, blocked, and bathed away the slashes from the sword.

A thrust was enough to break through his defense. He landed on his back and bounced on the floor. He rolled and accommodate on a kneeling position. "Damnit!" He hissed as he sat up and started using Ryu to focus Nen on his claws.

Blademon walked slowly towards him. His demeanor more calm than other times where they've faced each other, where he was more relentless on his attacks. Now he seemed more calm, collected, cold. Those red eyes of him burning.

Killua moved. He thrusted his claws forward. Blademon was faster, he parried the attack, causing Killua to stumble, and moved to attack from the side. The former assassin regained his footing to block the horizontal swing, the force of it causing him to wobble back. He planted his feet and glared at his opponent, his eyes widening when Blademon was upon him—Sword raised to give him a vertical swing that would cleave him in half. He raised his hands to try and block it, but only managed to deviate it's trajectory a bit, causing the sword to make a small cut on his forehead, just above his right eye.

He jumped back, closing his eye to avoid blood from getting in and robbing him from vision. He looked at his opponent and his eyes narrowed as he noticed something coming from him.

Red aura seemed to cover Blademon. It wasn't Nen, Digimon for a fact couldn't use Nen. However that didn't mean they couldn't do something similar, their attacks came from somewhere after all. So what was it? Something even more powerful than his Tiger's Hunt?

"You're slipping," Blademon said. "What's wrong? Can't do anything without others to help you out?"

Killua frowned, but didn't fell for the bait. He was just taunting him, wanting him to act recklessly. He could use Godspeed at full power right now, but he was saving it for when the inevitable moment where Blademon would use his special attack.

The Reaper moved again, charging forward with his sword at the side. Killua charged at the same time, ready to meet him halfway and getting into a lockdown. Nail and steel clashed against each other, sparks flying due to the friction. Due to being closer to the enemy, Killua was able to feel the strange aura up close. His eyes widened as his mind recalled a similar feeling. 'This is...' He didn't get to finish these thoughts as Blademon kicked him on the stomach.

His feet disconnected from the ground from a few seconds. When he planted them back on solid ground again, he did so with a stomp, getting ready for his incoming opponent.

Blademon didn't wasted a second on charging again. His swings being barely blocked by the claws of the Hunter, with each strike Killua was forced to backpedal, all the while the strange energy surging from Blademon continued to bother him. 'It's different, but similar to that time. Back then it was weaker, but now...'

Blademon stomped the ground and pushed Killua back, breaking his defense and leaving him open for a thrust aimed to the chest. Killua used Ko to cover his whole torso, but the strength of the riposte was enough to lift sand around them and send Killua skidding back.

Gritting his teeth, he let his aura cover his whole body again. He planted his feet and used Ryu to deliver twenty five percent of his aura to each hand, while the remaining fifty covered his body. He lunged both hands forward, Blademon put his sword up his chest to use the flat of the blade to block it, and like the human, he skidded back.

They both took a moment to regain their breath after breaking apart. Killua regulated the flow of his aura so it would be even around his body, his eyes narrowed as the pieces finally clicked together. "That aura around your body... I've felt it before. In Ken. It's different... But similar at the same time."

During his last fight, when Ken was still the Emperor, he could see the shift on his aura. It was a dark purple, but then it was a blood-red, just like the one surrounding Blademon right now.

"So you've realized," Blademon said with a bored tone. "That brat... He didn't even used the gift properly," He sounded exasperated.

"Gift?" Killua inquired further.

"Let's just say it's something that was supposed to make him stronger, maybe enough to beat you. But due to his ignorance, he wasted his chance and lost it," Blademon grinned, and Killua could feel bloodlust coming from him. "But don't worry, I won't make the same mistake."

"Arrogant much?" Killua said, raising his claws. "What makes you think you can win with this 'Gift' of yours?"

Blademon grabbed the handle of his sword with both hands. "I don't know, you tell me." He grinned wildly as he gripped his sword on both hands.

Killua barely had a second to react and block. Blademon's sword merely inches away from his face and caught between his palms. The red eyes of his opponent and the wide, white smile almost glowed from deep within the shadows of his hood. "Does it look, like I'm losing?"

Killua gritted his teeth and pumped strength on his legs to try and keep the sword from getting any closer. Sweat pouring down and causing the wound of his forehead to itch.

He looked to the side for a moment and caught sight of Agumon, he was slowly sneaking away. That was good, he could get away and get help, contact the others with one of the TV'S.

Blademon focused energy on the blade, and Killua realized he was going to use the Air Slash at point blank. He activated Godspeed's Lightning Speed to let go of the blade and avoid getting cleaved in half by it, moving a few meters away.

Yet he immediately noticed something was wrong. Blademon didn't moved to chase him and instead aimed somewhere else. "Air Slash!"

The cutting wave of energy sailed through the air... Aimed to the only other person on the clearing. "AGUMON!" Killua yelled and forced his body to move.

The reptile turned to see the wave coming towards him rapidly. A blue blur rapidly scooped him and moved away from the direction of the attack, letting it disipate on the wind when it missed its mark.

Agumon opened his eyes to realize he was on Killua's arms. "You okay?" Killua asked, dispelling Godspeed to save energy.

"Yes, thank you," Agumon nodded as he was set down.

"Funny how the papers invert right?" Blademon chuckled as he turned to them.

"What?" Killua asked, genuinely confused this time.

"When you were in need, a friend abandoned you," Blademon said. "Sounds familiar, Killua?"

Killua's eyes widened. It... It did, due to his brother's needle he could have left Gon or the Digidestined behind. But... How does Blademon know that?

"Finally remembered?" Blademon asked, walking forward. "What you did to me?" He growled.

"Huh?" Both him and Agumon voiced their confusion. What Killua did to him? They never met before, at least not during the first adventure. "What do you mean by that?"

Blademon's eyes widened before narrowing again. His knuckles turning even more white as he curled his fist around the sword. "Then why make that face if you didn't..." He muttered before shaking his head. "Fine!" He spat. "If you insist on ignoring it, then I'll explain it to you... Once I have you bleeding at my feet!" He growled.

Killua tensed. "Agumon, get back!"

"Letting the little coward to run away again?!" Blademon asked, energy seeping through him.

"Coward!?" Killua hissed. "What gives you the right to call him that!? You don't even know him. I trust him. He would have go and get reinforcements!"

"Yeah!" Off to the side Agumon added, to defend himself.

"I thought the same thing once," Blademon said, the energy gathering around his sword. The usual pressure related to his technique feeling even denser than before. "Allow me to show you the pain that thought brought me!"

Killua just scowled in annoyance. Everything Blademon was saying didn't make any sense to him, it was honestly starting to get annoying. However, he knew what was coming and so he got ready to avoid it.

"TIGER'S HUNT!"

Night has fallen. His first night along with all the other babies of the town and their caretaker.

The small SnowBotamon snored softly as he continued to hold the device in his mouth as a pacifier. His rest was interrupted when his ears twitched. His small eyes opened and looked in the direction of the bushes surrounding the town. All the other babies were slowly awakening, whimpering at being awoken or outright crying.

His eyes stayed on the bushes. Nervousness rising slowly when something... Something... Some... So...

He jumped out of his crib and started jumping towards the source of the noise, behind the bushes. Ignoring the noises of the crying babies behind him. He wanted to explore, and see what the mysterious noise was.

He jumped, jumped and jumped, wanting to find the source of the noise. But as he continued on his way, the forest seemed to get darker and darker, not helped by the lack of stars or moon on the sky.

He stopped and looked around. Everything was silent. He started whimpering in fear at being lost in what for him was an enormous forest. He closed his eyes, shivering in fright and due to the breeze of the night. This was a bad idea, he wanted to go back to his crib... Or to find the person his mind was calling to.

'Killua...'

Suddenly, light filtered through his eyelids. He opened to see a light coming from deeper into the forest. The SnowBotamon blinked and started jumping towards the direction of the light.

As he neared it, he could make out a shape. A square object with a window at the front. He stopped right in front of the weird box, and the device's screen started to glow along with the window.

A flash later, he was gone from the forest.

When he came to be, he felt cold.

He opened his eyes and looked around. White. It was the only thing that came to his mind at that moment, everything was white around him. And cold.

He felt things falling on his head. He looked up to see small, white specks falling from the sky. They tickled on his nose and causing him to sneeze, making him let go of the device that was still on his mouth. Behind him was a box similar to the one that absorbed him, but this one was broken. The window was shattered.

"Ugh..." He heard a groan and turned to the side.

Laying on the white floor was someone. They were bigger, wearing a blue hoodie, and with a mop of white hair resting on their head.

SnowBotamon's eyes widened as the image clicked with one that's been with him since the moment he was born.

"Killua."

The figure stirred and sat up. Scratching his head and looking around. "Where...?" He looked down and noticed SnowBotamon staring at him with wide-eyes. "What the-! A... A Digimon?!"

"Killua! Killua! Killua!" SnowBotamon cheered as he bounced around the boy.

"You know my name?" Killua blinked, tilting his head to the side.

SnowBotamon jumped into his eyes, staring at him with admiration. "I've waited for Killua!"

"Waited for..." Killua trailed off as he noticed the device laying on the floor. "A Digivice... And you've waited for me...?" Realization dawned on him. "You... Are my partner?"

SnowBotamon continues to jump up and down. "Partners! Partners!"

Killua grabbed the Digivice and sat up. "Wow I... I thought I couldn't have a partner..." He mumbled, then he looked at the beaming, white ball of fur. "I'm... A Digidestined?"

SnowBotamon didn't know what that word meant. He was just glad to met the person his mind always had present since the morning he was born, even if that was just a few hours ago.

Killua looked around and frowned. "Then... I'm in the Digital World again..." He sighed. "I... Don't suppose you know if we are on File Island or the Server Continent, right?"

SnowBotamon stopped beaming and adopted a confused look.

"Guessed not..." He sighed again. "Don't even know if the guys are around..." He mumbled. He stood there, thinking, for a moment before pocketing the Digivice. "Welp, guess it's time to do some exploring. Find a way back home. Guess you and I are sticking together, huh?" He smiled down at the Digimon.

SnowBotamon nodded and smiled, jumping on Killua's arms.

"Well okay then," Killua said with a smile. "Time to get some answers, and find a way home!"

"Home!" SnowBotamon grinned.

The two trekked through the white landscape. Snow crunched as Killua stepped on it.

Despite the cold environment, SnowBotamon felt warm as he nestled on his partner's arms.

The snow crunched as Killua walked with his partner in arms. Night was setting, but luckily for them, there was no storm that could threaten their wellbeing.

The human walked to some trees and brought their braches down with kicks and chops one arm while holding SnowBotamon on the other. The small Digimon just watched in fascination at his partner in work. Childlike amazement clear on his the way he was looking at him.

Killua took them to a cave to use as a refuge for the night. He settled the branches and put rocks around them, before putting his palms close and focusing. SnowBotamon eyes widened when Killua unleashed a small bolt of electricity that light the branches, turning on the bonfire.

"Ah, so warm," SnowBotamon said, snuggling close to it.

Killua smiled down at him. "Sleep if you want, I'll take the first watch."

"Watch?" SnowBotamon titled his head, which is to say his whole body.

"To make sure everything is fine while we sleep," Killua explained, patting his head.

"Mmm okay, and then where we going?" The baby Digimon asked.

Killua stopped at that, before sighing and shrugging. "I dunno... Guess to find a way back to my home?"

"Home?" SnowBotamon asked blinking again.

"A place to belong," Killua explained. "Where I came from."

SnowBotamon just blinked owlishly, not knowing exactly what it meant. His home was that place with the red Digimon then? And the other babies?

"Will I go with you?" SnowBotamon asked.

Killua looked at him for a moment, some uncertainty on his eyes, before nodding. "Sure, you can accompany me to find my way home."

SnowBotamon smiled and yawned, slowly closing his eyes to sleep. "'Night..."

He heard Killua chuckle. "Good night, partner."

The rest was short-lived. Or maybe not, it was hard to tell when one was asleep.

There was a rumble that shook him awake. SnowBotamon opened his eyes slowly and looked around. "Killua?"

"Shh!" His partner was looking at the depth of the cave with narrowed eyes. "Something else is here..."

SnowBotamon blinked and looked in the same direction as his partner. There was a low growl coming from the darkness, further down the cave. Two yellow eyes glowed from within and an angry huff could be heard.

"Crud..." Killua cursed scooping him on his arms. "Let's beat it!" He said and ran out of the cave.

SnowBotamon huddled closer to his partner's chest as he could feel the monster chasing them out of the cave. They got out and Killua pressed his body to the outside wall of the cave, and the beast charged pass them, giving them a good look of it. It was green, big, and had big rolled horns on his head.

"Tuskmon," Killua said with a sigh. "And it looks angry, maybe for invading his territory," He set him down and walked forward. "Stay here, I'll handle it."

"But..." SnowBotamon trembled as he saw his partner walking towards the beast.

Killua looked back at him and gave a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, I got this."

SnowBotamon could only watch as his partner charged at him, while he could only observe. The beast turned around and lashed out with his tail at Killua, to his surprise his partner jumped over the attack to dodge and gave a kick to the beast's head. Tuskmon staggered back and from his horns he started to launch fireballs.

Killua backflipped to dodge the barrage. He landed on a crouching position and sprang forward, landing a punch to the gut of the monster.

SnowBotamon's mouth was wide open, and his eyes glistening with admiration as he observed his partner fight. He was so confident, and cool. 'Amazing!' He wished he could be like that too. 'I... I want to help!'

He bounced towards the battle and opened his mouth, bubbles came out of it and impacted against the back of the beast.

Tuskmon growled and turned around, fangs bared, a growl emanating from his mouth. SnowBotamon. The small Digimon trembled, but didn't run. He opened his mouth and unleashed another stream of bubbles that only served to irritated it further.

Before it could attack however, Killua delivered a double handed punch to the top of its head, causing it to stagger back.

He landed close to his partner. "What are you doing here?! It's dangerous!"

"I want to help!" SnowBotamon protested.

"Listen, you-" He cut himself short as he turned back and saw a fireball coming to them. He braced himself and blocked the impact with his body.

SnowBotamon gaped at seeing his partner tank the hit like that. "Killua!"

"It's okay! My aura protected me," He reassured. He got up and ran as Tuskmon launched many fireballs at them

SnowBotamon frowned as his partner continued to dodge with him on arms. He wanted to do more. He wanted to help out. He wanted... He wanted to be the one to protect Killua!

From the boy's pocket, a soft glow came out.

"SnowBotamon Digivolves to... Kitmon!"

SnowBotamon's body glowed and revealed a new Digimon. Like his previous form it was white with blue eyes, but now it possess more feline features and more fur, his eyes now possessed slit pupils like a cat's, three blue stripes on his head, and a small fang sprouting from his mouth, and a white and blue striped tail.

"Woah," Killua blinked and stopped seeing his new form. "As always, evolution is convenient, but I'm not sure you can help much."

Snow—Kitmon, felt stronger, and more confident about his new body. He looked at Killua with a smile that reflected that confidence. "I'll still back you up in whatever you need!" He declared.

Killua sighed. "Then stay here, and attack from the distance, keep it distracted while I deal the heavy blows." He said setting him down, and watching

Kitmon nodded. He hopped around to circle around the giant, while Killua charged straight ahead.

Tuskmon tried to ram its horns against the boy, but Killua caught them and keep it at bay with minimum effort. Kitmon took a deep breath and released his attack. "Icy breath!"

A cold wind erupted from his mouth and hit the dinosaur on the side of its face. Small frosting covered its face and cause it to grimace. Killua took chance of that to give it an axe-kick to the chin.

The monster staggered back, and Kitmon pointed his breath to its feet. They slowly froze and caused Tuskmon to lose balance and fall on its back.

Killua jumped on its stomach and focused aura on his fist to deliver a right hook. Tuskmon's eyes rolled to the back of its head, and it stayed there. Unmoving.

"Is it dead?" Kitmon asked.

"Nah, just unconscious," Killua said, jumping down its body. "You did pretty well there," He complimented.

Kitmon blinked and then scratched his nose quite smugly with his tail. "I was pretty awesome, huh?"

Killua blinked. "Woah, someone got an ego boost from that evolution huh?" He chuckled.

The two looked to the horizon to see the sun rising. Killua smirked and folded his arms behind his back. "Guess that's our cue. We should be on the road."

"So soon?" Kitmon asked, tilting his head.

"The sooner we move, the sooner we might find Digimon..." His eyes trailed to the downed Tuskmon. "Ones that are not violent."

"Well, if you are sure..." Kitmon said, doing his best impression of a shrug due to his lack of limbs. "Lead the way."

Killua's smirk became more cat-like. "Race ya there!"

He took off leaving a sputtering Kitmon behind. "Huh! Wait for me!" He complained, hopping after him on the snowy environment.

Despite his momentarily annoyance at his partner's sudden take off. Kitmon felt warm inside. He evolved, met his partner, and now was traveling with him to find 'home.'

For him, everything was right on the world.

"TIGER'S HUNT!"

The moment he heard the words being spoken, Killua knew it was time to act.

'GODSPEED!' Lightning exploded around him and he dashed forward. 'If that sword of his knows where I'm going to be. And won't stop until it hits me... Then I'll give it just what it wants!'

The plan was reckless. He knew that, anyone else who could know what he was thinking would know that. But it was his best bet against an attack that was going to hit him regardless of what he does. With no one else to constant break Blademon's focus, he would at least minimize the damage.

Blademon charged as well, his sword covered in a swirl of red and blue energy. The two ready to meet the other head on. The sword was aiming to slash him through his midsection, and Killua didn't seemed to be ready to block it. The hooded Digimon grinned as the blade was inches away from the boy's body.

Killua's eyes narrowed just a tiny bit. 'Now!'

He vanished, accompanied by a small flash of light.

Blademon stood there, sword lunging forward and nothing but air in between. He blinked and straightened himself, his blade wasn't acting, it wasn't tracking down his opponent. Inspecting it further, he noticed small specks of blood on the tip of the blade. 'Smart bastard...'

He turned around to see Killua standing there, lightning still covering his body. A small gash on the side of his torso.

Blademon narrowed his eyes and ran a thumb across the blade to clean the small specks of blood. 'He must've timed that really well, a second too slow and my sword would've cut deeper than that.'

"You're Tiger's Hunt chaces you're opponent until it hits him," Killua said calmly. "It doesn't have to give a critical injure as long as it hits its mark."

"You've realized that could have go wrong in all the ways possible, right?" Blademon sneered. "Are you that arrogant?"

"I know," He shrugged. Inwardly, he was deflating in relief. 'That had only a twenty five percent chances of working. Either I missed the timing and got stabbed on the side, do nothing and just let the blade do its thing, or it doesn't work and it would continue to hound me until hurting me gravely. It has a weakness I can exploid by myself right now.'

Blademon pointed his sword at him with narrowed eyes. "You're thinking that you have the advantage now that you've found a hole on my technique?" He scoffed. "Don't make me laugh. Even with my Tiger's Hunt, I can beat you. Just look at yourself, even if minimum, I have already drawn the first and second blood."

Killua scowled. The blood running down his forehead felt warm and sticky on his face, while the wound on his abdomen just felt like a scratch. 'Then I hope Agumon can slip away again without calling attention.'

As if reading his thoughts, Blademon charged his sword with energy and swung it behind him. Killua's eyes widened and his body moved on his own, running around the way of the energy attack and once again scooping a fleeing Agumon on his arms before it could get hit by the cutting wave.

"How did he noticed!?" Agumon trembled on Killua's arms.

"I'm keeping an eye on you, even now, you slippery lizard," Blademon said, walking forward. "I'm not letting you run off like a coward and possibly ruin this for me, as slim as the chances of that are. I will not allow interruptions!"

Killua scowled at him. "Stop calling him a coward!" He sneered. "This is between you... And whatever business you have with me."

"If he wants to get in my way then he is part of said business," Blademon growled. "But I suppose it's enough talking. Come at me Anomaly!" He spat the word, as if it was the most poisonous venom.

While Agumon retreated further back, Killua's whole body glowed with electricity and charged forward. Blademon raised his blade to try and defend himself, but the Anomaly vanished out of sight.

Blademon noticed his opponent's presence by feeling electricity running from his back. He pressed his teeth together to keep the growl of pain inside. Killua reappeared in front of him to deliver an uppercut before vanishing again.

Killua reappeared to deliver an elbow to the face. Whirlwind had taken control of his movements, reacting fast and on instinct to win the edge of the battle even for a moment. He kicked his sides, punched his gut, unleashed a haymaker to his face, and pressed his hands against his chest to release a stream of electricity through the body. Blademon's body was stiff for the pain, and Killua took his chance to engage his finishing move when using Whirlwind, a barrage of punches all charged with high voltage.

Blademon hold his pain in. His armor absorbed that pain from the punches, but the constant streams of electricity were burning his skin and making his muscles ache in terrible pain. 'Not long... That ability shouldn't last for long!' He thought as he gritted his teeth.

Killua leaped back and the aura dispelled. 'I still have some left. I'll have to use it sparely,' He thought. If Blademon used Tiger's Hunt again then he would need Whirlwind again, so he cut off Whirlwind on his own.

Blademon's body twitched. Slowly, painfully, it straightened himself to glare at the boy with hate filled eyes. "Are you done, Zoldyck?"

"Far from it," Killua sneered.

"Soon then," Blademon shrugged. "That skill of yours has a weakness far more blatant that Tiger's Hunt's. You will run out of energy eventually. I wonder what you'll do once you do," Then his expression formed into a deadpan. "And by the way. I can see that your 'friend' is trying to get away again!" He said loudly.

Agumon stopped, turning around to see Blademon giving him an unamused glare. "Darn..."

Killua cursed. He couldn't remember any TV'S nearby, Agumon would have to go far to get there. But Blademon was being able to keep tabs on the two of them, and he couldn't waste the rest of Godspeed in one go. 'Shit, what to do?'

"So?" Blademon balanced his sword against his shoulder. "Are you attacking? Or just hoping to miraculously regain the energy you just spend on that attack?" His teeth were bared on a grin. "What is it going to be, Zoldyck?"

Killua scowled. 'Damn bastard...' He brandished his claws and charged forward. 'No other choice, but to attack head on! Not give him a chance to use his special attack again!' He thought. 'That might actually give an opening for Agumon to go and find the others!'

He swiped with his left hand, and Blademon turned his blade to the flat of the sword will block it.

Blademon pushed him back. Killua started backpedaling as Blademon swung his sword with an increasing speed. He had to dodge and lean out of the way as the Digimon thrusted his sword forward. Killua's eyes narrowed as he noticed the red aura around his opponent growing, apparently with each swing and strike.

Blademon grinned. "What's wrong!? Can't you keep up with up anymore are you really that tired!?" He spun on his feet to charge momentum and strike the sides of the boy.

Killua focused his aura with Ryu on the place where the sword impacted. The strength behind the impact sent his body sailing through the air. He bounced and rolled on the floor, unable to stop his flight until he landed on his back and was painfully dragged across the floor due to inertia.

"Killua!" Agumon called in worry.

The Hunter jumped back to his feet. His ears ringing after the last attack. 'How is he doing it... What exactly is that gift he is talking about?' The red aura from that gift he mentioned was the only explanation as to why he was getting each time stronger.

"Have you lost the initiative?" His opponent taunted him.

'God I'm getting tired of hearing his voice!' He thought, getting back to his feet and sharpening his nails.

"And yet you still want to continue?" Blademon smirked. "... I expected you to be trying to find a way out, to be honest."

"What?" Killua hissed.

"I mean, the lizard over there is always trying to find a way to save his beacon," Blademon said, pointing to Agumon, who was rooted in place afraid to move in case another attack was aimed at him. "I'm just surprised you're not doing the same. Use him as a decoy or something."

"SHUT UP!" Killua surged forward. Swiping his claws down on an X. Blademon brought his sword up and block it, getting into another stalemate. "You don't know anything about any of us, you BASTARD!' He roared. "Agumon isn't a coward, and neither am I! I would never use him as a decoy, I would never betray my friends!"

Blademon's eyes widened, the grip around his sword tightening. The red aura around him seemed to grow even bigger. He pressed forward, and Killua once again found himself backpedaling. "On which rights do you say that...?" He growled. "After what you did... You bastard... After what you did!?" He pushed Killua away. "HOW MUCH OF A HYPOCRITE CAN YOU BE!?"

Killua looked up to see Blademon's sword coming down to him. He raised his hands but it wasn't enough, Blademon's swings were more powerful than ever. He could feel that just one missed strike will tear his arm off.

He could hardly breath as the aura around Blademon continued to grow, expanding and impregnating the air.

"If you're never going to betray your friends then why did your run?!" He asked. "If you're never going to betray them then why did you left the town to burn!? If you're never going to betray them then why did you left ME!? WHY DIDN'T YOU AT LEAST TRIED TO SAVE ME!?" His blows increased in strength, until he managed to break through Killua's defenses, leaving him open for his next blow.

Killua could only look up as Blademon raised his sword and thrust it down. At that moment, Blademon roared words that would shook Killua to his core.

"WHY DID YOU LEFT YOUR OWN PARTNER TO DIE!?"

"Hyaaaah!"

Killua blocked the incoming punch with ease and dodged the jabs thrown in his direction, never once losing his amused smile. He sidestepped and stuck his foot out so his opponent would trip over.

Toramon, the Rookie form of his partner, stumbled and fell face first on the snow. He lifted his head and grumbled under his breath. "Dang it."

"You okay there?" Killua asked, walking to him and extending his hand out.

"Yeah," Toramon took the hand and got back to his feet. "Just frustrating how weak I am in comparison."

It's been over two months since the two of them met, two months of traveling across this snowy part of the Digital World. Encountering wild and territorial Digimon that tried to hunt them for food, or to assert their domain. These encounters are what made the small Kitmon evolve into Toramon.

His partner had also told him a lot about his world and about himself. He liked candies, he had something called a skating board—Or something like that, and also told him about his family being bad people called 'assasins.' Toramon took on everything he said, even the last part, Killua told him about it with serious nerves, but Toramon brushed it off. Who cares what Killua was? Right now he is his partner, and best friend.

"If our trend continues as it goes, then you will evolve further in no time, don't worry." Killua said clapping his back.

"I guess," Toramon said with a shrug. "Think we might find a town this time?"

"..." Killua's face shifted with conflict. Two months and they haven't found a box—A TV—That can send Killua might back to his home. And neither had they found any signs of civilization. "Who knows?" He responded with a sigh.

Toramon gave him a worried look, before slugging him on the shoulder. "OW!" The human complained.

"Finally hit you!" Toramon said, giving him a cheeky grin.

"You little..." Killua growled with a twitching smile.

Toramon laughed and took of running, his partner chasing behind him to enact vengeance on such a terrible act of betrayal.

Toramon didn't minded. As long as Killua was feeling better now, and not having a sad expression on his face.

Eventually, their little game caused Toramon to reach a hill. He stopped in time to not roll down it, but Killua didn't stoped. He crashed against his back and the two of them lost balance rolled down until reaching the bottom.

"Ow..." Toramon whined.

"Another great landing," Killua grumbled. "Sorry about that."

"I'm fine..." Toramon reassured as he sat up and rubbed his head to shake off dizziness. When he looked up, his eyes widened. "EUREKA!"

"Uh?" Killua blinked as he looked at the same direction as him. His eyes bulging at what he saw. "No way!"

A village. Civilization. It all laid in front of them a few meters ahead, it was really simple. House made of wood, with Digimon that go from Gotsumon to Gizamon to Frigimon walked around minding their own business.

The two partners sat up and walked to the village, excitement filled their bodies at the prospect of not having to rest on caves or in the middle of a clearing that's mildly comfortable.

Digimon on the village took notice of them as they neared, and a Frigimon bigger than any other on the village approached them. "Well, hello there, I am the mayor of this town, who might you be?" He asked them, with a fatherly tone.

"We're travelers," Killua responded. "We're looking for a place to stay, as well as an object around."

"Object?" The cold Digimon focused on the last part.

"It's a TV," Toramon answered. "A

box with a front made of glass."

"Oh!" The buttons that functioned as his eyes seemed to widen. Despite not having a mouth, they could see him smiling at them. "I think I know where you can find what you are looking for."

Killua's eyes brightened instantly. "Really?!" His expression made Toramon smile, he never saw his partner this happy before.

"Follow me, please!" The big snowman—Or snowMON—said as he walked into the town.

The two complied. The town was bustling with Digimon minding their business, and they could even see some In-Trainings ane Babies playing together around the snow.

The mayor Frigimon lead them to a cave sitting on the opposite site of the town from where they entered. They walked in and the two partners stopped, their jaws dropping in awe.

Standing there, was a TV, with a screen perfectly intact, unlike the last one they saw.

"It's here..." Killua muttered. "We found one!" He smiled.

Toramon smiled, but then he frowned. "Does... Will it work?"

Killua's smile dropped, turning into a worried frown. He took out his Digivice and walked forward. "One way to find out."

He stood before the TV and pointed his Digivice to it. They didn't had to wait for even a second, when both screens came to life at the same time, and Killua felt a small pull towards the TV.

He pulled back however, and the screens both turned off. "Yeah, it works!" He grinned.

"My word," Frigimon said. "I've never saw it do something like that."

Toramon stood behind, fidgeting with his feet nervously. "We found it..." He mumbled.

Killua turned to him. "What's wrong, pal?"

"... You're leaving, right?" He asked, warm starting to prickle around his eyes.

"Huh?" Killua did a double take, looking between the TV and his partner. "I..."

"'S fine..." Toramon mumbled. "It's what we were looking for..." He said, trying to not sound so sad.

He felt a hand at the top of his head and looked up to see his partner smiling softly at him. "Hey. I don't have to leave right away. Now that we know it's here, and that it works, I can leave whenever I want. And comeback whenever I want!"

Toramon looked up at him with teary eyes. Killua smiled down at him. "And nothing says I can't take you with me either, right?"

Toramon smiled and threw his arms around his partner's neck to engulf him in a hug. Killua, kind of awkwardly, wrapped them around his tiny frame.

Right. His partner wasn't leaving forever. They would stick together no matter what.

No matter what.

As he watched the slow descent of the sword towards his body. Killua's mind just tried to find sense to Blademon's words.

'No focus!' His mind told him rapidly. 'Godspeed!'

Whirlwind kicked in and Killua vanished from his spot, and swiftly delivered a kick to the head of his opponent. Blademon skidded across the ground, his head turned to the side, but barely looking injured.

His red eyes glowered at him, as a his lips were peeled up to reveal the animalistic snarl on them.

Killua narrowed his eyes and clenched his fist. "What do you mean?" He asked in a low tone. "What did you meant by... Partner?"

Blademon's snarl just grew, before he reached for his infamous hood and ripped it off, throwing it to the floor, for the first time making Killua and Agumon see how the deathly Reaper looked like. Killua couldn't help compare him to Leomon, except for where Leomon was obviously a lion, Blademon looked more like a tiger.

"LOOK!" He roared. "I might've evolved! But my forms barely differ from one another! Now you might recognize me! I am your fucking partner!"

Killua's mind continued to find reason behind his words. He has partner... Blademon is his partner? Or well... So he says. He scoffed. "You? My partner? I don't know what you're playing at pal, but I have no partner. Specially not a psycho that's been trying to kill me since I came back to this world!"

Blademon's eyes stared at him, unblinking. With the strength behind his grip, it was a wonder how the handle of his sword had not be broken yet. The back of his neck flared with an unknown pain. He took a step forward, the aura around him surging erratically. "What... Did you say?" He asked with a growl.

Killua gulped and took a step back, the bloodlust coming from that strange energy emanating from him sending shivers to his spine. He looked at Agumon who was rooted in place, suddenly paralyzed. He managed to send a glare to his opponent. "You heard me!" He got out, keeping his voice from wavering. "I don't have a partner! I am the Anomaly, the previous one didn't had one either!"

Blademon's eye never left him. His unnatural red irises shrinking in barely controlled rage, all the while his neck continued to pulsate with pain. "Liar..." He gritted his teeth and charged with an angry roar. "LIAR!"

Whirlwind immediately reacted. Killua vanished after Blademon thrusted his sword forward and reappeared behind to deliver a discharge of lightning. His body moved to appear in front of him and deliver an uppercut, then a roundhouse to his chest, an elbow to the face, and when he was ready to deliver the last blows coming from Whirlwind's automatic response... The electric aura ran dispersed.

'SHIT!' Killua cursed as he jumped back. His reserves had finally being drained. 'Fuck, fuck, fuuuuuck!' He wasn't sure he could win now, not with the enhaced strength Blademon has now.

Said Digimon had his head bowed, his arms limply at his side and smoke raising from him due to the discharge. His arm twitched and he gave a step forward. "Liar..." He growled.

Killua trembled, he looked at where Agumon was. The Digimon's eyes darted between the boy and behind his own back, trying to decide if he should try and help or make a run for it again. Now that Killua couldn't use Godspeed, he might not be able to get Agumon out of harm's way.

Blademon took a step forward, causing Killua to snap his attention back to him. "Liar!" The tiger growled as he dragged his sword across the ground. The red energy spamming erratically.

"I'm not lying!" Killua growled. "Why would I lie for?! Why would I deny anything you say if it was the truth!"

"BECAUSE YOU'RE A COWARD, THAT REFUSES TO ACCEPT HIS GUILT!" Blademon roared. His red eyes, once again shifting between red and blue—Something Killua took notice off. "YOU REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT YOU ABANDONED ME AND LET INNOCENT DIGIMON DIE!"

As he spoke, Blademon's mind raged. How dare he pretend he doesn't remember him? Was he that much of a coward?! Refusing to even acknowledge his existential just to escape from responsibility?!

The pain on his neck was getting worse. Distracting. He had to focus, he had to make him grovel and plea for forgiveness.

"If I'm not your partner, Killua, then explain to me... How do I know you like chocolate, specially Chocobots?" He growled raising his sword. "How do I know you like sweets in general? How do I know you had a skateboard back in your world? How do I know you come from a world apart from the Digidestined's? How do I know you were an assassin, along with your brothers? How do I know you are a Hunter? HUH?! EXPLAIN THAT TO ME!"

With each question Killua's eyes grew wide. Those things... There were some of them he didn't even commented to the Digidestined, like his old skateboard or the Chocobots from his world. "H-How do you know all of that?"

"Because you told them to me! When we traveled together, as partners, when I was Toramon!" Blademon growled. "STOP DENYING IT!"

"But we never traveled together!" Killua said. The surrealism of the situation putting him off guard. "I've never met a Digimon called Toramon!"

Blademon's eyes twitched erratically as the pain of his neck grew. How could he pretend... That their travels didn't happened? How could those months be brushed off by him?

Why was he lying? What did he has to gain by denying it?! One can only deny the truth so much?!

'What if he isn't lying?'

Thah thought crossed his mind so fast he might have missed it. He immediately shook his head. No... No that didn't make sense! He remembered! He remembered those times, the times where he felt a joy like none other before he bailed on him!

"Why...?" He grumbled. "What do you gain by lying!?"

"I'm not-" Killua tried to say.

"YOU ARE!" He roared. "YOU MUST BE! HOW ELSE DO YOU EXPLAIN THE HATE I FEEL FOR YOU?! FOR ABANDONING ME!?"

His sword was soon bathed with energy. "I'll force it out..." He mumbled. His eyes wide and staring a Killua with a maniatic glint on his eyes. "After all... When you're bleeding out... You won't have a reason to lie."

Killua flinched at the implications, and Agumon's eyes widened as he realized what will happen. "KILLUA, RUN!"

But even if he says that, Killua knew it was pointless. He doesn't have the reserves to pull the stunt he used early to avoid this technique. Nothing on his power could possibly stop what was bound to happen. He could only grit his teeth and brace himself.

"Tiger's..." Blademon's form blurred from his position, before reappearing in front if Killua. "HUNT!"

The sword slashed Killua from left hip to right shoulder on a diagonal motion. Blood sprayed out from his body like a fountain. He could hear Agumon calling his name, but paid him no mind as his body fell backwards. The figure of the Reaper looming over him.

Toramon snored peacefully on the hut the mayor had provided him and Killua to sleep in. His form sprawled near his partner's chest.

That's when it started.

An explosion came from outside, startling the two of them. "W-what happened?!" Toramon asked in fright.

Killua looked outside a window and gasped. "Fire."

Toramon looked at the window too. His skin paled immediately, almost unnoticed due to his white fur. "W-what's happening?" He asked.

Killua bolted out of the bed and put on his shoes. "C'mon! We have to check!" He told him.

Toramon hastily nodded and walked outside to meet with him. His eyes widened in horror as he looked at what once was a peaceful, snowy village.

Now, everything was covered in blazes. The houses burning down and collapsing over the bodies of innocent Digimon. "W-what's happening?" He muttered.

Killua looked around, frantically trying to find some sense of what was happening. From the smoke, they saw a familiar figure stumbling and collapsing on the ground. "Mayor!" Killua called.

Toramon looked at the form of Mayor Frigimon. He had burns all over his body, and one of the buttons that worked as his eyes was missing. The two of them hurried at his side, hoping there was something they could do. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Frigimon grunted and lifted his head. "M-my friends, i-it's dangerous to be here... Please, escape while you can..." He started coughing after that, due to the smoke or his injuries one couldn't know.

"Who... What did this?" Killua asked.

A sudden rumble interrupted anything that Frigimon was going to say. The two of them looked at the smoke coming from the entrance of the village to see a gigantic figure stepping out from the cloud of ash and dust.

It was easily twice the size of the Tuskmon Toramon and Killua encountered on their first meeting. Its legs were covered on black fur, its body was slender, its belly brown and the rest of it black, it had four arms with red claws, and an head covered by some sort of helmet.

The monster let out a roar and launched a blast of black energy towards where they were standing. Killua and Toramon moved out of the way... But Frigimon didn't.

He screeched in agony as the blast reduced him to nothing more than data.

Toramon stared at the scene with wide, frightened eyes. He looked back at the monster, trembling with fear.

"Toramon!" Killua called. "We have to..." He looked unsure, gripping his forehead for some reason he didn't understood. "To... Fight it!"

"A-are you sure?" Toramon asked.

"I am sure!" Killua nodded, his nails sharpening and that aura thing flowing from him. "Let's do it!"

Toramon gulped and looked at the monster. It stalked slowly towards them, its yellow eyes glaring at them. He... He will fight, and stand his ground alongside his partner no matter what!

The Digivice started glowing.

"Toramon Digivolves to... SaberToramon!"

Toramon's new form was a Digimon that stood in all fours. His head, toros, and paws all covered by armor just like his previous form. Two fangs resembling a sabertooth tiger sprouting from his mouth. It was as big as Garurumon.

Killua smirked. "Looking good, partner!"

"Let's do it!" SaberToramon smirked.

The two of them charged into what will soon become a losing battle.

SaberToramon's armor started to glow and as he jumped into the air, he curled into a ball and started spinning. "Saber Cannon!" He launched himself against the monster, aiming for its stomach.

Only for the monster to bat him away like he was some fly. He slammed against some burning buildings and groaned in pain.

"SaberToramon!" He heard Killua call.

He opened his eyes to see Killua staring at him with wide eyes full of worry. His partner's eyes shifted towards their enemy when it took a step towards him. Killua leaped back to get some distance.

SaberToramon forced himself to his feet and charged forward. He jumped and again used his Saber Cannon to ram himself against his opponent's back. The monster stopped his advance towards his partner and turned around to focus on him.

SaberToramon tried to move out of its way, but the monster grabbed it on its giant hands and proceeded to launch him across the town. His flight came to an abrupt end when his back collided with the side of the cave where they found the TV.

His body collapsed to the floor and he whined in pain. He could hear the footsteps of the beast drawing closer and closer. He forced his eyes open to see it, slowly stalking towards him.

He couldn't do this alone. He could barely stand... Killua. That's right, his partner was going to save him! They were going to stick together no matter what!

He could see his partner's figure behind the giant's. He was running towards them, and SaberToramon smiled, he was going to help.

But then... Killua turned towards the other side of the cave, towards its entrance.

SaberToramon blinked and sat up, with tremendous effort. "K-Killua?"

The monster was drawing closer, he had to find his partner. He jogged towards the entrance of the cave... Just in time to see a familiar light coming from the TV engulf the figure of his partner.

He has used the port... He went 'home' He... He left him.

"Killua?" SaberToramon called. "Killua, come back!" He charge towards the TV, clawing at it in the hopes that it will turn on. "Please! I need your help! Come back!"

A long hand suddenly entered the cave and closed around his body, and dragging him out. "Please! Killua! Help me! Please!" He begged, hoping that his partner will listen to the other side.

The monster dragged him outside. Leering over him with malice and opening its jaws to devour him.

All the while, SaberToramon was trying to wrap his head around what happened. Killua... He ran. He just... Left. Why? Why did he left him? Was he getting help or... Or something?

... Did he abandoned him? Just... Just like that?

His frame trembled. He couldn't die here... He couldn't! He needed answers. Answers from him! He wasn't going to die!

His eyes snapped open as the monster introduced him whole into his mouth and slowly fell towards its stomach.

Big mistake.

"SABER CANNON!"

Like a cannonball, he erupted from the stomach of his enemy. The monster screeched in agony and SaberToramon crashed on the floor, bouncing on with constant grunts of pain. The monster toppled back and disipated in particles of light.

SaberToramon struggled to get back to his feet. He had to... To go back... To the cave. Find a way to Killua... Get answers.

'Why... Why did you left me?' He wondered before his body finally collapsed.

The last thing he heard where footsteps, and a pair of high heels standing in front of him.

A cough with blood mixed within escaped Killua's lips as he laid on his back, blood pooling out of his body.

Blademon towered over him. Slowly he reached out and clamped a hand around his neck. "This. This is justice," He whispered. "For leaving me. For abandoning me. I defeated that thing alone, together we could have done it easier, faster. But you ran!" He snarled.

Killua coughed and tried to remember how to properly breath. "I-I don't know what you're talking about!" He spat. "I've never left someone behind, here on the Digital World!"

The only time he left was when he tried to get away from the group, all the way back on their first adventure five years ago. During Etemon's debacle. And even then, that didn't lasted a day, he came back as soon as he learned the others were in trouble.

"You..." Blademon stared at him in disbelief. "Even now you continue to hide the truth!? Now that you are going to die! Why?! I won! I won! Why can't you just admit that you were a coward! That you ran away and left me!"

"BECAUSE I DIDN'T!" With what little strength he had, Killua barked the words. "FOR THE LAST TIME! I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT! I WOULD NEVER ABANDON SOMEONE! MUCH LESS MY PARTNER!"

Blademon stared into his eyes. Trying to find the deceit, the doubt, the proof that he was right. But... He found none. The conviction behind his words were spoken with the truth.

But... That was impossible! He remembered everything clearly! He remembered!

Another pain shot through his neck.

He... He remembered!

He let go of Killua and staggered back, clutching his head as the aura around him spammed errands and his eyes shifted between red and blue like a broken traffic light.

He... He remembered... Right?

His vision went blurry, almost as if seeing everything with static, he could even heard the buzzing sound on his head.

He... He was sucked by a TV near primary village and... And...

No... No!

No, no, no, no, no. No! No! NO! NO!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGH!" Blademon let out a bloodcurdling scream as the red aura around him exploded. The back of his neck buldged as a sharp pain ran through his whole body... Before a gash wound appeared and black dust seeped through it.

Killua crawled back as he observed what happened. Flashbacks of the last clash he had with The Emperor coming to his mind, specifically his defeat. 'W-what does this mean?!'

On a shack on the woods of the Human World, Yukio Oikawa opened his eyes and let out a sigh of disappointment. "It seems the spore in Blademon has been disappeared. What a shame, that was my greatest work to date..."

A spore capable of creating fake memories, along with feelings so strong that cloud all logic. He had to set the story straight before inserting it on the newborn Digimon Arukenimon brought him years ago, when he found the signal of a Digivice on his newly created Digital Port.

When he introduced him his spore, the poor thing was in a coma for over two months. His body constantly evolving to try and fight off the effects of his ability, that's how it reached the Champion level without his partner around, it's a amazing how he survived that time without food or water, Digimon are truly amazing creatures. In the end his ability was stronger. Had it not worked, then he would have just gotten rid of the creature.

Oikawa didn't know why, but for five years he's had images of the white haired boy that is the Anomaly. It's what helped him learn Nen, it's what has helped him grow strong. And it's what gave him the means to create an image of the boy on that specific spore, which he distorted to fit his needs.

He made the spore so Blademon would think he had an adventure with Killua that ultimately ended with the latter abandoning the former to die. And implanting feelings of hate that would make the Digimon have a... Tunnel vision of sorts. The perfect pawn to deal with the Anomaly.

All while masquerading said ability to Blademon as some sort of steroid that increases one's power. Poor, poor fool.

Now, the two weaknesses of his technique have met. The constant use of the power boost it offers, and the reality shock that contradicts what the spore implants.

He leaned back on his seat and sighed. "Oh well, not like I need him anymore," He said with a shrug as he look at the screen of his computer, showing the form of BlackMetalGarurumon sleeping with his other two creations. "I already have a better replacement."

The aura started to die down, and Blademon fell to his knees. He panted heavily and looked up at the boy, his eyes were blue again, but now they didn't held any malice within them. Now... They looked lost.

"I..." Blademon sat up. "I..." He turned around and started walking away.

"W-wait!" Killua sat up, grimacing as blood fell from his wound. "W-where are you going?"

Blademon didn't answered, he just kept moving. Almost as if in a trance.

The Digimon's eyes were vacant. Memories overlapping one another, as the world seemed to disappear around him. Killua and him never met. Killua didn't abandoned him, they never traveled together.

The master... Manipulated him. Along with Arukenimon.

Killua tried to reach out for the Digimon, but then Blademon's body seemed to turn into... Static, and disappeared without a trace. "W-what-" Killua couldn't say more as he collapsed face first into the floor.

"Killua!" Agumon ran to his side and with effort, he turned him to the side so he would rest on his back. "Oh man, oh man..." He panicked. "H-How did Joe fixed this that time?!" He asked, referring to the encounter with Hookmon five years ago.

He dragged Killua so he would rest against a rock and ripped a leg from his pant to act as a bandage. "T-there! Please hold on! I'll call Tai and the others through one of the ports now!"

Agumon ran off, leaving Killua to fight against the desire of his body to shut down and rest. All the while, his mind wandered. 'Blademon said he's my partner... A Digimon with a Digivice was kidnapped five years ago... Was that him...? What he said it's true...?'

He heard footsteps and could see figures surrounding him, even when darkness was reclaiming his consciousness. 'Blademon...'

Waves crashed against a shore. Grey sand getting muddy as the water drenched it.

Kneeling near it, with his cloak discarded, and his sword imbedded on the ground, Blademon stared at the waves with dull eyes.

His mind was a mess; thoughts filled with contradictions clashed against each other. His body felt weak; limbs tired and the back of his neck burning.

His eyes were full of different emotions. Hurt, anger, sadness, hate, confusion, fear...

But above them all... Blademon felt regret.

His body trembled and his lips parted, his throat broke as he let out a roar full of agony.

Because his true memories had come back. And they make him realized what he has become.

Some... So... Someone.

A tall figure stepped out of the bushes, dressed in red and with white hair, walking towards the cribs.

The babies all trembled at her presence, until she finally stopped in front of SnowBotamon's. "So this is the origin of the signal," Her hand reached forward and grabbed the Digivice. "Give me that!"

SnowBotamon refused, keeping his jaw set, not wanting to give up the device to the scary lady. The woman sneered and raised a hand to attack. "You little-!"

"Halt! Who's there!?" Elecmon appeared, ready to attack whoever was attacking his babies. "Who are you!?"

Arukenimon sneered and decided to act hastily. She grabbed the creature that was latched to the Digivice and make a run towards the forest, ignoring Elecmon's shouts and SnowBotamon's whimpers of fear.

The woman in red reached the TV and placed her hand on it. She was absorbed by it, along with the baby.

The computer on Oikawa's shack spat the two figures. The man himself sitting up from his spot meditating to observe his assignment with curiosity. "Arukenimon. You're back, and so soon."

"Master," She bowed her head. "I have... News."

Oikawa raised his eyebrows. And then his eyes widened when he saw the creature on her arms, with a Digivice on its mouth. "Hmmm... Interesting." He walked closer to the two. "A Digimon in the flesh! Extraordinary. I assume he is supposed to be a Digidestined's partner."

He grabbed the Digivice on the baby's mouth and plugged it out, the small creature too scared to try and hold on to it.

Oikawa examinated the Digivice with child-like fascination. "Ah! It's amazing!"

Arukenimon looked at the creature with contempt. "What should I do with this?"

"Hmmm?" Oikawa tore his eyes away from the Digivice and shrugged. "Oh, get rid of it. The lest pests the have to deal with the better."

Arukenimon smirked and threw the baby against the floor and raised her hand to finish it. The baby closed his eyes and whimpered. "Killua...!"

Oikawa's eyes widened and he turned around. "Arukenimon, wait!" He ordered.

The woman stoppes and looked at her master in curiosity.

Oikawa looked down at the baby with intensity. "What... Do you say?"

"K... Killua..." He whimpered again.

Oikawa's mind seemed to be processing something. "The Anomaly's partner..." He whispered in awe. "... Hehehe... Well how about that?" He grinned.

He scooped the small creature and grinned viciously at him. "My little friend. I think I have great plans for you, but I will ask you for patience. Arukenimon, keep an eye on him while I prepare something." Arukenimon just nodded and grabbed the small Digimon, while Oikawa sat down to meditation.

Hours of agonizing waiting passed for the small Digimon. He watched the exterior of the shack from a window and saw snow falling from the sky. He shivered and whimpered, causing the woman to clutch him harder. "Shut up!" She hissed.

Finally the man sat up and held out his hand. A black sphere forming on the palm of his hand. "Alrighty then," He said, walking towards the small Digimon. "Let's hope you survive this, little guy. I'm not sure what effects it'll have in you~"

SnowBotamon could do nothing but watch as the man got the sphere closer and closer to him, before introducing it on him. And then... The world cut to black.

That's when the lies started. That's when he lived and adventure that never happened. Memories of his kidnapping vanishing and replaced with times with Killua up until he left him to die... And a pair of high heels found him.

He opened his eyes to find himself on a shack. His body, still a SaberToramon, laying on a mattress and with a cover over his body. "Ah you're awake," a voice said.

SaberToramon looked up to see a pale man entering the room with a woman dressed in red. "W-where am I?" He asked.

"In my house. My name is Yukio Oikawa, and she is Arukenimon," The woman sneered at him and turned her nose up. "What's yours?"

"S-SaberToramon," He replied hoarsely. His eyes suddenly widened. "Killua! Where's Killua!" He asked frantically.

"Who?" Oikawa raised an eyebrow, while the woman sat on a chair, doing herself a manicure.

"M-my partner... We were both fighting a monster, but in the middle he..." His eyes prickled with tears as he remembered seeing his figure being sucked away by the TV. "He left me... If... If you're a human, then that means this his home right?!"

Oikawa sighed and sat next to him. "Not all humans know each other, my friend. And this might not even be his world. I know what you are, and where you came from. I've been studying your world for years now, and in doing so I discovered that there's many others out there. This might be A human world, but not the same as your partner's."

SaberToramon took on the information and his head dipped. Killua wasn't in this world, he was in a whole different one. "I... I just want to know why he left me."

Oikawa sighed. "I hate to say it, but maybe he just... Preferred to save his own life over yours."

"...Eh?" SaberToramon's eyes widened as he looked at the man. His heart beating on his chest.

"If you're still alive, then you killed this monster you talked about, right?" The Digimon nodded. "Then he should have stayed and help, instead he decided to drop at the first sign of trouble. Not caring about leaving you behind."

"H-He wouldn't..." He tried to deny it. Even if... If he didn't believe it himself.

"Wouldn't he?" Oikawa asked back. "Actions speak louder than words after all. And what evidence do you have to defend him?"

... He had nothing. He was right. The fact was that Killua abandoned him, even when they could have worked together to defeat the monster. Anger started to take over him. "Damnit! Why! How could he do this!?"

He didn't notice Oikawa's pleasant smile. The man sighed and hid it away. "Most humans are selfie creatures. Tell me, do you wish him to pay? To regret what he's done to you?"

"... Yes..." His blue eyes hardened as the anger overtook his mind. "That's what I want!"

"Then I will help you," Oikawa promised. "I can give you what you need: Tools, information, power. As the saying goes I got your back... If you have mine."

"... I own you, for saving me," SaberToramon said, bowing his head. "Please. Help me."

Oikawa sighed. "We don't know if your "partner" will ever show his face on the Digital World again. So... Help me with a project I have, and when it's done, I will send you straight to his world so you can enact justice! And if he does shows his face... Well..." He chuckled. "We both win, right?"

"Right..." SaberToramon nodded. "Thank you, sir."

"Since I'll be training you, please... Call me master," Oikawa grinned.

He had been a fool. Those memories, those emotions, those thoughts had all felt so real, that for years he was a puppet for someone he believed cared for him. Robbing him of the chance to fulfill his true purpose.

Blademon gripped his fist, crunching the sand on them. "Killua... I'm sorry... I'm sorry!" He growled as his head fell into the sand.

Now... He was lost. Lost in a world with no color. Lost in a world with black water crashing against the sand. He was trapped on the Dark Ocean.

"FINALLY DONE!"

"NOT ONLY THIS CHAPTER, BUT THE WHOLE STORY OF BLADEMON'S NONSENSICAL QUEST FOR REVENGE!"

"I changed the flashback of the abandonment from chapter thirty because plain and simple: The flashback was awful. It showed too little info, Blademon just jumped to conclusions seeing Killua just ran off, and acted immediately with rage. Here he saw Killua go through a port without him, being in denial, sad, and finally angered because of the effects of the evil spore."

"Originally this was the chapter where the reveal of Blademon being Killua's partner was going to come out, but I though I was being too obvious about it during Ken's Arc so I decided to get on with it during that Arc's final chapter. Imagine my surprise when almost no one saw it coming."

"For those who said Blademon had no reason to hate Killua... You are right. He didn't have a reason, at least not a real one. It was all just made up by Oikawa. How does Oikawa made a perfect image of Killua on those memories? Hmm... guess you'll have to revisit the first story to get your answer. It involves a certain Dracula reject."

¨I might update A Fallen Knight next. So go check it out"

"That would be all for today. Not sure if I'll update before the year ends, so in case we don't see each other: Merry Christmas and happy new year."

"Fav and Review!"
