Timeline 5 - What if Trunks faced off against King Cold on Planet Namek.

While a tournament continues on Earth, Planet Namek is attacked by none other than King Cold, the father of the dead Frieza and Cooler.

King Cold chuckles as he tortures the Namekians into giving him the dragon balls to revive his son's Frieza and Cooler. "It's time we made our wish!"

Dende looked terrified beyond anything as he summons the dragon. "What are your wishes?" Dende asked.

King Cold smiled. "How many do we get, and don't lie to me or I'll kill your brother."

Dende cried. "Three wishes."

King Cold smiled. "First make me immortal, and then bring my son's back to life using the other wishes."

"Wait just one minute, demon!" yelled a mystery man who appeared out of nowhere it seemed.

"And who might you be?" King Cold asked.

"My name is Trunks, and I'm here to kill you." Trunks said as he appeared taking out his sword.

"Oh, we have a comedian, I see... hmm... kill him my men!" King Cold ordered.

The soldier aimed out his gun after scanning Trunks's power level. "Only 5? Pff, too bad for you punk." the soldier then shot a ki blast at Trunks, who easily deflects it away. "Well, that ain't right."

"It's over, Cold! Your finished!" Trunks said.

King Cold grew angrier. "How dare you talk to me like that! Men, cut him down!"

"Your about to see what it's like to fight a Super Saiyan! AHHHH!!!" Trunks shouted as the planet began to tremble.

"N-No, what is he!?" King Cold gasped.

Trunks smirked. "I've been waiting my whole life for this day! The day I avenge my friends and family! If I hadn't come here, you would've gotten your wishes! But now, it's over! You die!" Trunks yelled. "I'll give you until the count of 7."

King Cold began to back away in fear. "Wait a moment, let's talk about this!"

"One."

"Please! Your clearly a Saiyan! Surely I could offer you a planet or two!?" King Cold begged.

"Two."

"Okay, I'll leave this planet!" King Cold yelled.

"Three."

"Damn you, Saiyan! Death Beam!" King Cold unleashed, only for Trunks to deflect it away.

"Four."

"Damn it! You wouldn't by chance like to join me? We could rule the universe together!" King Cold was running out of time.

"Five."

"Men, cover me!" King Cold yelled at his men.

"Six."

King Cold flew away towards his spaceship.

"And seven. Your done for now! Masenko Ha!" Trunks shouted aiming the blast at King Cold's ship as it began to fly away. It then blew up, and King Cold fell to the ground. "Goodbye Cold! Your reign of terror ends today!" Trunks said as he used the instant transmission and teleported to where King Cold had fallen.

"Wait, please... spare me..." King Cold cried.

Trunks grunted in annoyance. "When have you ever given mercy to anyone!? Because of your son Cooler, I didn't even get to meet my father, Vegeta! Now, goodbye Cold!" Trunks shouted as he cutted King Cold in half.

Dende smiled. "You saved me... thank you."

Trunks smiled. "It was nothing kid."

"Where did you come from?" Dende asked.

Trunks chuckled. "I'm from the future. But enough talk, grab my hand! I'm taking you to Earth." Trunks said as he grabbed Dende's hand and used the instant transmission to teleport to Kami's lookout.

Kami looked surprised. "You are Son Trunks!?" Kami asked.

"Uh, no, just Trunks. I came here to talk with Goku. Is he around, or is he still dead?" Trunks asked.

Then King Kai connected to him. "Hi this is King Kai speaking, uh, are you by any chance, a time traveler?" King Kai asked.

"I am." Trunks replied.

King Kai chuckled. "Hey, King Kai, pass me the phone! I wanna talk with him." Goku said.

"Stop pulling on my attenas, Goku! Sheesh, okay, talk with him." King Kai said.

"Hiya Trunks! Am I your dad or Vegeta?" Goku asked.

"It's Vegeta. Anyway, Goku... we have a lot to talk about, and I think it should be face to face. I'm going to use the Namekian dragon balls to revive you now." Trunks said as he teleported back to Planet Namek. He then used the Namekian language and revived Goku, Bardock and even Broly.

Goku smiled as his halo disappeared. "Man this is getting exciting! Hey, your alive too, Broly!"

Broly smirked. "There's so many things I want to do on Earth."

"Goku... come back to Earth with Broly. There is a tournament going on if I remember correctly, and all your friends and family should be gathered there. I'll meet you there in a few minutes." Trunks said.

Goku nodded. "Hey, Jesus! I'm going home!"

Jesus looked surprised. "Huh, another Trunks has traveled back in time, I see... and now the disaster I feared would occur soon by the Frost Demons, will no longer happen. Okay, Goku... you may leave with Broly. Enjoy your lives, and please don't die again." Jesus said.

Goku nodded. "C'mon Broly, I'll teleport us to Earth." Goku said.

Jesus then waved his Almighty right hand and restored all of Goku's body, giving him his left eye back and his hand.

Goku smiled. "Thank you, Jesus! You're awesome." Goku said as he then used the instant transmission technique.

Goku and Broly then appeared on the tournament stage, where Silvia and Bulla were still punching each other to a bloody mess. "Hiya everyone! It's me, Goku! I'm back for good." Goku said.

"D-Dad..." Bulla said.

Silvia smiled as she wiped the blood off her lip. "So the man who changed my view of life has come back! And who is he?" Silvia asked pointing at Broly.

"That's Broly!" Goten yelled from the audience.

"Don't worry guys, he's a good guy in this timeline." Goku reassured everyone.

Gine smiled. "We can finally be a family again! Your alive too, Bardock!"

Bardock looked surprised. "I-I am..."

Gohan then went to hug Goku. "Dad... Your really back! We've all missed you so much! I haven't seen you since I was maybe like 4 years old..."

Goku smiled as he ruffled Gohan's red hair. "Has Gin been nice to you?"

Gohan nodded. "Yeah, he even gave me his sword."

Then Trunks appeared. "G-Gohan..." Trunks said as he remembered his old friend from the future.

"Huh? Do I know you?" Gohan asked.

Trunks smiled. "Let me tell you all my story, it is a long one though."

The tournament announcer looked annoyed. "Can all the people who just appeared please take a seat? We were in the middle of the last fight of the junior division!"

Bulla sighed. "I forfeit. I wanna hear Trunks's story."

Kid Trunks looked surprised. "Huh... that's me!?'

"There you have it, folks! The winner of the junior division is Silvia! Let's give her a round of applauses! And we'll continue with the adults once we take a one hour break." the tournament announcer announced.

Doctor Trunks then appeared in the sky. "This event was a very important one, I got to meet another version of Gohan here, he was such a good brother... I hope I find him soon. I should leave this timeline, because I don't wanna ruin it for everyone." Trunks said as he left to the next timeline.
