Timeline 7 - What if Goku and Broly became best friends.
Goku had recently died, so he went straight to King Kai's planet for some more training.
King Kai sighed as he saw Goku arrive. "Dead again, huh? Well this time, you'll have a training partner. Introduce yourself Broly." King Kai said as Broly walked over.
"I am the Saiyan of legend... I died when Planet Vegeta exploded as a baby. I grew up here in the spirit realms." Broly said shaking Goku's hand.
Goku smiled. "My name is Goku, and I can already tell we're gonna be good friends!" Goku said being lucky he didn't tell Broly the name Kakarot.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, a huge world tournament was beginning to take place.
Bulma smiled as she patted her daughter on the back. "Go and win this contest, Bulla! I'm sure your father Goku is watching us right now from the heavens."
Bulla sighed. "I sometimes wish Vegeta was my dad instead."
Bulma looked shocked to hear her say that. "Your father may not be here today, but always remember that he did love you a lot." Bulma lectured her.
Then the tournament announcer took to the stage to begin announcing the matches.
"Welcome all to the world martial arts tournament! There will be no junior division this time! So the kids or teens that enter will have to face adults! So please be prepared! Now first up is Videl and uh, Overlord Laharl, uh, I wonder why he calls himself like that." the announcer said.
"Ha ha! I'm fighting a mere girl! This will be easy, right Etna?" Laharl asked looking at his vassel.
Etna sighed. "Oh, prince! Even I could defeat you, so don't be a fool and go all out! I need that prize money!"
Laharl sighed. "Whatever! This will be easy."
Videl smiled. "I hope Gohan is watching me! Here I come kid!"
"Hey I ain't no freaking kid! I'm an overlord from the netherworld! I'm like the strongest being alive! My stats are all maxed out." Laharl said as Videl ran up to him and gave him a quick sucker punch, knocking him out of the ring.
Etna looked so mad. "Damn it prince! What did I say about not underestimating her! Now you better make this up to me!"
Laharl sighed. "Whatever! This tournament is stupid! I'm going back to sleep at my castle." Laharl said as he left with Etna and Flonne.
Bardock wondered where exactly these people even came from. "If only Kakarot was still alive."
Gine smiled. "I wonder what the next match will be."
Meanwhile on King Kai's planet, Goku and Broly's friendship had grown a lot in a matter of minutes.
"Let's try to do the fusion dance again, Broly!" Goku said as he then fused with Broly.
"You can call me Broku, King Kai." Broku said.
King Kai sighed. "A God of destruction is on his way towards the Earth! So get yourself ready, God has approved you to return to the living for just one day! Make it count, Goku." King Kai said.
Broku smirked. "With this fusion, none of these false Gods stand a chance against me!" Broku claimed out loud.
