Hermione was sitting in the common room she really needed to think. This year had been weird and stressful the weirdest part of it was that it was weird and stressful in a teenager's way not in someone trying to kill you or your best friend's way or some crazy people coming after your loved ones or anything like how they have spent their years at Hogwarts. Nope, this was all what normal young adults go threw crushes, one-sided loves, hormones, bitches, dicks, having regrettable hookups that kept happening.
Despite what she had told herself she kept finding herself having sex with Malfoy randomly around the school. One moment she would be walking around the school heading to the great hall for a meal or going to the library or anywhere really and he would suddenly show up and pull her into an empty classroom or hidden alcove and she would end up having sex with him. despite how calm this year had been in comparison to the earlier years. She was still constantly busy doing her perfect duties helping Harry with whatever she could hanging out with her friends excluding Ron and making sure to stay ahead of all her classes.
In truth, the most normal thing about this year was the yearly strain on her and the boys' friendship When Ron first started dating Lavender it was hard seeing them in a constant sicken embrace and flirting she had actually started taking great effort to avoid them. she would go to the library to study alone when she didn't have any work to do she would go to breakfast early and dinner late she would walk the grounds at random times all to avoid them but they kept showing up everywhere.
It was really annoying trying to avoid them having to give up time with her friends just to run into them anyway so she stopped trying to avoid them and just decided to ignore them so that she would at least get to hang out with the rest of her friends. In truth this is where having sex with Malfoy was helpful,l getting any frustration or anger out of her system so that she didn't seem so weird around her friends when she had to watch Ron and Lavender. It really did help but now it was becoming a problem the last time they had sex it made her late for class she had been heading to Arithmancy when once again Malfoy came out of nowhere a little hushed yelling followed by sex but by the time they were done class was already 15 minutes in and by the time she fixed herself up and got to class she was a full 30 minutes late. Now just like in the past, she had accepted that this thing with Malfoy was just a thing that she enjoyed… PHYSICALLY and helped her blow off steam. But now it was interfering with her classes and she would not have that. No, she knew exactly what she needed to do.
Draco was bathing in the perfect bathroom he needed to clean up and soak after working on the cabinet for the last 5 hours he skipped dinner opting to fit in one more hour to work on the dame piece of junk. Not that it did much that he could tell the reading was helping with understanding the teleportation magic between objects.
He pulled himself out of the large pool and started drying off when his eyes caught his dark mark. His face twisted looking at it he grabbed his wand and cast a disillusionment charm over it he watched it slowly fade into his skin lucky for him the charm could last up to 5 hours if cast right. He dressed and headed out he had asked that a light meal be brought to his room so he was looking forward to that. He would do a little more reading as well. He started heading down to the dungeon when someone literally stepped in his way. His first reaction was to glare and intimidate them but when he actually looked at them. his mood changed greatly.
" Granger" he mused looking down at her Hermione was looking up to him with an annoyed look on her face arms crossed.
" your out after hours, again," she said in a scolding tone. He smirked and leaned down into her space
"and you found me whatever should we do, did you want me to bribe you to let me off." He purred she put her hand on his chest and pulled away from him a little.
"Actually I wanted to talk to you about that," she said looking at him his face had changed to a look of unintrest as far as she could tell, he actually looked like he might want just walk away, Either way, it was clear he was not interested in having a talk.
"look if you don't want to talk right now then we can just talk some other time, but we do need to have a talk," she told him she started to walk around him when she felt his hand grab her arm
" fine you want to talk let's talk, go ahead say what you want to say so I can go the hell to bed" he spat
"sheesh what is your problem is talking really that much of a hellish task to you," she said annoyed and angry at his annoyed and spire full tone. Draco leaned against the wall giving her a hurry-up face Hermione huffed shaking her head.
" look clearly this is a bad time, listen if we're going to keep hooking up we need some rules, so how about we take a little time and meet up and figure out how we want this to go," she said she tried to leave but he again grabbed her but this time with a much more interested look on his face.
"no let's talk now" he looked around then led her into an empty classroom he cast a quick tergeo spell on some chairs and then proceeded to sit getting comfortable throwing his legs up on a table. Draco waved to the other chair Hermione took it with a skeptical look on her face.
" so you said you wanted to put down some rules to us having sex, well what were you thinking"? he asked looking at her. Hermione stared at him collecting her thoughts again she didn't think they would be talking about this right now. His mood swings were really getting on her nerves.
" right, well as I was saying if we are going to continue this we need rules."Hermione paused waiting to give him a moment to say something when he didn't she continued.
"well first rule you will not call me Mudblood if I ever hear you say that word at all than this" she points her finger between them "ends, next I have no interest in sharing so if we are shagging then you cant be meeting with others, if you want to be with someone else then let me know and we can end this, I, of course, will do the same" she once again paused to give him time to talk when he just continued to stare at her she shifted in her seat trying not to let up how uncomfortable this whole thing was making her.
"third I will not be at your beck and call I want scheduled times for us to meet. One that works for both of us., And last" she once again shuffled in her chair god this was embarrassing " I also think we should make sure we are being more careful, do you know the contraception spell?" she suddenly had a really hard time looking at him when a few minutes went by and he didn't say anything she had to make herself look at him. his face was pale and full of fearful shock.
"Malfoy"? she called trying to get his attention he blinked a few times before opening his mouth just to close it again he repeated this a few times before he cleared his throat. "are you saying you're not on the potion"? he asked in a hoarse voice Hermione was confused why was he looking like she killed his owl roasted it and served it to him on his mother's knickers?
" oh, Godric no no what have we done, what if?" he looked at her in terror Hermione squinted her eyes at him what the hell was up with him. but then it dawned on her. " NO, NO! I'm on the potion hell I'm even on the pill, so there is no chance of ….. that" she shallowed she couldn't bring herself to say the word.
" Oh thank Merlin's beard" Draco breathed out as he regained himself. "yeah umm" Hermineo had to take a moment to resort her thoughts " I just wanted to know if you knew it, the potion is good but the charm protects against more then just….." Hermione once again couldn't find it in her to say the word her face felt like it was on fire she coughed and tried to seem less affected.
"well do you, know the charm I mean"? Draco coughed and sat up a little " yes I learned it back before 5th year, I'm surprised you don't know it I mean you know how to make the potion so one would think you would have learned the charm during the same time" Draco started picking at an imaginary thread on his robe.
" yes well the library doesn't really hold any information on such things, in truth Hogwarts should really fix that people really only learn such charms and potions if they ask someone who already knows them, so if you are too scared to ask anyone you might never learn them" Hermione sighed wishing that there was at least a one month course of sex ed at Hogwarts, to be honest, they could use a couple of other classes that cover the more basic for life. She got a little lost in thought so when she felt Malfoy looking at her she gave him a questioning look back.
"who did you ask, about the potion I mean"? Draco asked raising one eyebrow. Hermione smiled a little at this.
"actually in the perfect bathroom, if you're a female the mermaid that's usually singing on the far end of the glass mural will ask if you want to know how to make it if you say yes she goes through the ingredients and how to make it all in song, I'll admit I had to visit a couple of times to write it all down she will only sing it for you once a day" Hermione chuckled at the memory.
Now both of Draco's eyebrows were high in surprise at the information he never knew that the mermaid told students how to make a contraception potion he wondered who decided that.
"so you want me to use the contraception charm on top of the potion, alright though I think the potion would be enough but I'm not against it" Malfoy mused again taking a more relaxed demeanor in his seat. "so any other rules?"
Hermione shook her head " no that's pretty much it of course if either of us wants to add more we can do it at any time".
" right then on that note my own rules, first you cant call me ferret ever" Hermione stopped herself from rolling her eyes instead she just nodded and singled for him to continue. "second I can agree on a schedule but I still want a spontaneous shag from time to time, being penciled in doesn't sound to appealing" Hermione was going to argue but Draco held up a finger to stop her "as long as it doesn't interfere with your classes of course" Hermione took a moment to think this over for a bit before she nodded. but in a way that let Malfoy know that there would be more rules to go along with that. Draco gave a clap "well then I believe that is out of the way, now that we have come to an agreement shall we have a celebrational shag?" Hermione gave a laugh shaking her head but proceeded to go over and straddle him.
