Chapter 2
Bag-End seemed to overflow with dwarves coming for a meeting that wasn't even alerted to the host that something important was going on that very evening. That he would be assigned as a member of the group.
Bilbo grumbled as he tried to save some things from the grabbing hands of dwarves when there was a knock on the door. He let out a whimper putting the doilies down that he had saved. He took a breath knowing that he needed to get these dwarves out of his home. He opened the door revealing three figures carrying weapons as well.
The first figure lowered the brown hood that she wore revealing strawberry blonde hair a pair of amber-colored eyes and pale skin. "Shaylee at your service Mr. Baggins." She said lowering her head slightly revealing a band of colorful leaves holding some of her hair back.
The second figure lowered the green hood that she wore revealing blonde hair and green eyes with lightly tanned skin. "Aurora at your service." She said bowing her head revealing a stick that had small buds on it in her hair.
The final woman lowered the forest green hood she wore revealing brown hair blue eyes and warm golden-tanned skin. "Linetta at your service." She said bowing her head revealing some red roses in her hair.
Bilbo's mouth opened and closed in shock looking at the three women that carried weapons. To him, it was unheard of for a woman to have weapons and know how to use them.
"Is the meeting still on?" Aurora questioned her voice coming out rather softly like the sound of tinkling bells as the three of them came into the home putting their weapons down carefully so as not to ruin anything.
Oin and Gloin walked through the hall carrying chairs from one of the many rooms of Bilbo's hobbit hole.
Bilbo quickly moved around the three women trying to chase down the chairs that were being taken. "No, no, that's Grandpa Mungo's chair! No, I'm sorry, you'll have to take it back, please. Take it back...It's antique, not for sitting on! Thank you! That's a book, not a coaster. Put that map down, thank you."
"I cannot hear what you're saying!" Oin shouted trying to tell the hobbit that he was hard at hearing.
Linetta blinked a few times. "Seems like we're right on time." She said looking over her shoulder at the other two fae.
"Yes, I suppose we are. Shall we join them?" Aurora questioned a small smile coming to her lips.
"Yes, we should," Shaylee said with a smile as she moved towards the other room to help bring more furniture out of the other room and into the dining room so they could have plenty of room.
Dori came up to Gandalf with a tray with tea on it. "Excuse me, Mr. Gandalf, can I tempt you with a nice cup of chamomile tea?" He questioned pouring some tea into the mug on the tray.
Gandalf looked down at Dori. "Oh, no thank you, Dori. A little red wine for me, I think." Gandalf walked out of the dining room trying to avoid the dwarves and now three fae that had come into the home. He hit his head on the chandelier, grasping his head and gasping in pain. Before he began to count on his fingers. "Fili, Kili, Oin, Gloin, Dwalin, Balin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, Dori, Nori, Ori, Aurora, Linetta, Shaylee…"
Bilbo wrestled a bowl of tomatoes away from Nori.
Bifur, a dwarf who had an ax in his head, came up to Gandalf and talked to him in Khuzdul and made movements with his body to relay the message.
Gandalf looked around. "Yes, you're quite right, Bifur. We appear to be one dwarf short."
"He is late, is all. He traveled North to a meeting of our kin. He will come." Dwalin said, looking at Gandalf.
"We also appear to be one fae short."
Aurora poked her head out of the dining room. "None of us have heard from her Gandalf."
Gandalf let out a breath as he watched Aurora go back into the dining room to join the others.
"Mr. Gandalf?" Dori said coming up to Gandalf.
"Hmmm?"
"A little glass of red wine, as requested. It's, eh, got a fruity bouquet." Dori said, handing the glass to him.
"Ah, Cheers." Gandalf drank from the cup of wine and looked sadly at it knowing that he wanted more. "Mm."

The three fae women sat towards the end of the table slowly eating the food that they had before them as the dwarves were quite rude and messy about the whole eating their food.
Bofur threw some food to his brother Bombur. "Bombur, catch!"
Shaylee ducked her head as the food whizzed past over her head to Bombur's awaiting mouth.
The dwarves cheered as Bombur caught the food in his mouth. Then they began to throw their food around, some catching it in their mouths others just making more of a mess.
The three faes wrinkled their noses as they ate their meals slowly.
Fili walked down the table carrying several mugs of ale in his hands trying his best to not knock aside food that was in his way. "Who wants an ale? There you go."
"Let him have another drink!" Dwalin shouted to Fili.
"Here you go," Fili said, handing the ale to Dwalin.
Dwalin poured his ale into Oin's hearing trumpet.
Oin puts his hearing trumpet to his mouth and blows the ale out of it, making it squeal.
"We would each like one," Linetta said, looking up at the blond-haired dwarf.
Fili looked down at the three women at their table and smiled. He carefully handed each one an ale. "Miladies." He said with a cheeky bow.
Aurora and Shaylee giggled as Linetta's cheeks went darker in color.
Linetta looked at the two other faes at the table. "O, thig air adhart. 'S e flirt a th' ann."
"Tha e gu math eireachdail, nach e?" Shaylee said with a giggle.
"Chan eil e cho eireachdail ris an fhear air a bheil e na shuidhe ri thaobh." Aurora mused with a giggle as she took a long drink of her ale.
Linetta shook her head in embarrassment as her attention went to her ale before her.
"A bheil thu a' smaoineachadh gun tig i? Chan eil sinn air facal a chluinntinn bhuaipe. Dè ma tha e dìreach sinne?" Shaylee said the seriousness coming to her voice.
Linetta took a breath pursing her lips together. "Mas e dìreach sinne a th' ann. Nì sinn seo mar urram do ar gealladh."
Aurora nodded her head knowing that it was probably the only thing that they could hope that Win would show up. "Gheall i Thorin Oakenshield... cha rachadh i air ais air a gealladh."
Linetta wrinkled her nose as the dwarves around them pounded their tankards onto the table and began to drink their ales together making a mess of the whole thing down their faces and their beards.
Ori let out the loudest burp out of them all.
The dwarves laughed at Ori's burp saying that they were rather proud of what they had done.

Aurora decided to leave the table carrying her empty plate towards the kitchen.
Bilbo grabbed a doily back from Nori irritation written across his face. He was beginning to tire of the dwarves and the three women that were here even though the women weren't all that bad to him. They were much more politer than the dwarves. "Excuse me, that is a doily, not a dishcloth!"
Bofur blinked a few times looking at Bilbo. "But it's full of holes!"
"It's supposed to look like that, it's crochet."
"Oh, and a wonderful game it is too, if you got the balls for it."
"I believe he means knitting," Linetta said, crossing her arms.
"Oh," Bofur said, letting out a soft chuckle.
"Bebother and confusticate these dwarves!" Bilbo said leaning against the wall thankful that one of the fae women had spoken up.
"My dear Bilbo, what on earth is the matter?"
"What's the matter? I'm surrounded by dwarves and three women that I don't even know what race they are. What are they doing here?"
"Oh, they're quite a merry gathering, once you get used to them."
"And we're fae, Mister Baggins," Linetta said, revealing her pinkish-red wings.
Bilbo's mouth opened and closed in shock seeing her wings disappear into thin air. He saw Nori with a chain of sausages over his shoulder and Bofur grabbed onto them and began a game of tug-of-war with the chain. "I don't want to get used to them. The state of my kitchen! There's mud trod into the carpet, they've pi-pillaged the pantry. I'm not even going to tell you what they've done in the bathroom; they've all but destroyed the plumbing. I don't understand what they're doing in my house!"
"Excuse me. I'm sorry to interrupt, but what should I do with my plate?" Ori asked, coming up to him and holding onto his plate.
"Here you go, Ori, give it to me." Fili took the plate from Ori and threw it at his brother, Kili, who threw it behind his back to Bifur, who was standing at the sink in the kitchen.
"Oh no…" The three fae women said softly ducking down as plates and bowls along with utensils flew through the air all going to Bifur who was to wash them.
Gandalf ducked to avoid getting hit by a flying plate. "Oh!"
"Excuse me, that's my mother's West Farthing crockery, it's over a hundred years old!" Bilbo exclaimed as he tried to get them from throwing the plates and everything else. He didn't want his dishware ruined.
The dwarves then began to rhythmically drum on the table with the utensils and their fists.
"And can-can you not do that? You'll blunt them!"
"Ooh, d'hear that, lads? He says we'll blunt the knives." Bofur exclaimed.
Kili began to sing before the other dwarves began to join him.
"Blunt the knives, bend the forks
Smash the bottles and burn the corks
Chip the glasses, and crack the plates
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!
Cut the cloth and tread on the fat
Leave the bones on the bedroom mat
Pour the milk on the pantry floor
Splash the wine on every door
Dump the crocks in a boiling bowl
Pound them up with a thumping pole
When you've finished, if any are whole
Send them down the hall to roll
...
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!"
Bilbo huffed in anger going into the kitchen to find all of the dishes stacked neatly and cleanly, not a chip to be found.
Everyone began to laugh at Bilbo's antics of what had happened.
Suddenly there was a loud knock on the door which caused everyone to go silent.
"He is here," Gandalf said, removing his pipe from his mouth. He hoped that it was who he thought it was, but what worried him was that the other hadn't shown up yet.

This is the end of Chapter 2. I hope that you guys enjoyed this chapter. I tried my best to write this chapter out. I think it turned out pretty well. We will see more of the fae as the story continues. Will Win show up like she promised or will she not keep true to her word? Who do you think should end up with Kili, Fili, and Bilbo? I think it is a bit too soon to tell, but who would you think would be a better match?
Please leave a review and let me know what you think of this chapter. Reviews help me keep going when it comes to writing. I have a long way to go when it comes to writing this story. I hope to have the next chapter out soon. Until next time.
