Anime Insaniac chapter 1: One question, is our mystery lady Dimitria? I'm not familiar with all of the franchise, but I did watch up to Light Speed Rescue and some of Time Force.

Answer: No, as you can see in this chapter. but I do want to say that I was thinking of her when I was first coming up with this idea but I felt I could not do the character justice since she has a unique way of speaking.

Chapter 2: The Command Center

It was an odd sensation for izuku, being teleported for the first time. The sensation of phasing through the apartment building, then flying through the air, and then phasing through several miles worth of dirt was quite the experience. But When he finally arrived the first thing he wanted to do, was to throw up. Luckily though, he was able to suppress it. After a couple of seconds of not trying to throw up, he finally gets his bearings and starts to look around.

The first thing he noticed was that he was not alone. His mother, Melissa, and her father were also there. They were all unharmed besides looking a bit green from being teleported.

the second thing he noticed was where they were. The place that they were sent to was littered with dust. Large metal storage crates lined the walls that were full of computers and mechanical parts that he did not recognize. In the middle sat a metal pedestal with computer consoles and monitors surrounding it

"Welcome candidates, to the command center. " A female voice spoke, which startled the group.

Looking around for where the voice came from, izuku quickly noticed a security camera hanging off the wall in front of them, and the camera was emanating a red light behind the lens. But before izuku could speak up The Voice continued.

" I am Deca, I am the Artificial intelligence program to assist the Power Rangers. I'm sorry for bringing you here in such a way. It was my recommendation And idea After all. I calculated that if we told you about this place you wouldn't believe us unless you saw it. And if you didn't believe us you would be less willing to hear us out." Deca Said in a robotic voice that was clearly female.

hearing the name Deca caused Melissa to squeal out in joy. "You're that Deca, the AI that assisted the Power Rangers for years and the only confirmed artificial intelligence to ever exist. This makes so much sense, UN's calculations always seemed almost robotic to me. It was like a supercomputer made them, they're too perfect and so precise for a normal person to make. I have so-." But before Melissa could continue her rant David Cut her off and stepped in front of them protectively

"Hold on I have no idea what game you're playing by kidnapping us like this. But I-Island will easily find us so you better send us back before you get more in trouble than you already are. " David said

He knew it wasn't possible for I-Island to know where they were, let alone know if they were gone, that's if his theory on how that teleporter worked. But doesn't mean he can't attempt to Bluff them out of the situation.

"David calm down, and hear her out. " Surprisingly the retort didn't come from Deca or the children but from inko. But seeing the surprised look on David's face she decided to continue

" I do not know what it is but something about this place and her just gives off a feeling of safety. And besides her teleporting us unexpectedly, she has not done anything wrong to us so far. " After saying that inko gave him a warm smile that made David relax just a bit

"So Deca was it, could you tell us why you brought us here?" inko asked

"I think it's best for us to explain that." An obvious male voice said. This drew the group's attention toward one of the monitors in the Room.

As they did two of the monitors came to life. The first monitor that they noticed held an image of a woman. She had long flowing brown hair that reached her shoulders, she had fair white skin, and brown eyes. Her outfit is comprised of a two-piece pink and white dress that reaches all the way down to her ankles.

the other one is a man that izuku and Melissa both recognized immediately. The man has short spiky black hair, a goatee, and white skin. He is wearing a brown leather jacket with a black undershirt and black jeans

but before the two individuals can introduce themselves Melissa and izuku both shout out at the same time "You are Tommy Oliver!" They both said in excitement as they pointed to the man on the monitor screen.

this only causes Tommy and the woman to laugh. "I win our little bet, Tommy, they recognized you instantly. " The woman on the monitor said only to make the two laugh even harder.

"I should have known it would have been a sucker's bet. " Tommy said in between his laughter. it took them a few seconds for them to compose themselves but when they did Tommy spoke again. "As you probably already figured out I am Doctor Tommy Oliver and I was a Power Ranger. On the other monitor is my wife Kimberly Heart who was also a Power Ranger. You also know her as UN or unknown user." This both shocked the parents and excited the children.

Melissa was the first one to recover and was the first one to speak. "You're really Doctor Tommy Oliver. If that's so, how are you alive, and why did you bring us here?" she said with obvious excitement in her tone.

" to your first question, we are... technically not... alive anymore. " Kimberly says as she tries to find the right words to say. She wasn't Billy so she did not know the technical aspects of how it worked, hell Tommy barely understood himself and he was smarter than her.

izuku was confused and decided to make it known. "Then how are you speaking to us now?" Izuku said with curiosity and apprehension lacing his tone. He had a bad feeling that this was going to go down a very dark rabbit hole if his hunch was right.

this time it was Tommy who spoke. " I apologize but I'm no Billy, so excuse me if I don't know the exact technical aspects. But what I understand about it was that we basically uploaded our minds onto a very Advanced floppy disk, that turned us into AI's, which was also the cause of our deaths." Tommy said with a shrug.

"Wait you make it sound like you knew that you would die in the process of you turning into an AI. Why would you do such a thing?" Melissa asked a little frightened about the answer

"Because we were already dying. " Tommy replied in a somber tone

"Honey, I think we should start from the beginning, " Kimberly tells Tommy. "especially since that's part of the reason why they're here. After all, I did offer them a lost piece of Power Ranger History. " She finished saying, now looking at the group with amusement that can clearly be seen in her eyes.

The group could obviously see her attempt to lessen the tension that was in the air, and it worked but only slightly. Kimberly took it as a win, and Tommy took that chance to start their tale.

"A little over 200 years ago before the time of quirks, there was a battle between the Power Rangers and an entity known as Dark Specter. " Tommy said but stopped for a second to collect his thoughts which izuku took advantage of to ask a question.

"The one where Zordon sacrifices himself to destroy him and any evil in our solar system. " Izuku said obviously confused because that was pretty much common Power Ranger knowledge.

"No, not that battle, this was a long time after that. About 20 years after that I think. You see Zordon didn't destroy any of the evil energy, he simply dispersed it and purified the people who still had good in them. Dark Specter was nothing but energy-given form, and we did not know that he could reform himself. What's even worse is that with all the evil energy that was dispersed, he was able to absorb it which made him even more powerful. So he used that power to make an army of psycho Rangers, he made over 100 thousand of them, and they were each as powerful as a Power Ranger. Add to the fact that they had the ability to adapt to any Power Ranger that shares their color. It pretty much gave him the capability to wipe out every Power Ranger in existence besides us two."

"I see, In the past, he would normally just make even more minions but it seemed like he learned from his mistakes so instead of the quantity he went for quality." Izuku said as he analyzed the information currently present.

"Tommy I told you he was a smart kid, that is exactly what he did." Kimberly said praising izuku for how accurate he was.

"Wait how did you defeat him then if he was so powerful and Unstoppable?" Melissa said confused.

"Since we couldn't destroy him we decided to seal him away by using the combined forces of magic and grid energy. But because of his immense power, it practically drained this planet of its grid and magical energy. Each planet is like a well, some hold grid energy and some hold magic it is very rare for a planet to hold both, And Earth is one of those rare planets. It is also one of the biggest depositories of both Energies. This is also why Earth was attacked on a regular basis, it was so they could have access to this large deposit of energy. But since we practically used up all the power that this planet held we could no longer morph. But what was worse we had no choice but to use are morphers and ourselves as a conduit to seal him away and because of that, we were Overexposed to the combined Grid and magical energy. The energy caused cellular damage and gave us only 2 years left to live." Tommy said With a grimace before continuing.

"We knew it was going to be a very long time before Magical and grid energy would return to the levels needed for Power Ranger operations to start back up again. But we did not know how long that would be. So the remaining two years we had left we collected all the Power Ranger Tech we could, and packed it away into the only Power Ranger Command Center that was left. This Command Center was a backup Command Center for one of Japan's Power Rangers teams. But because of our time crunch, we couldn't do much because of that a lot of the tech is still packed away and needs to be installed, and a lot of the Zords and the respective Morphers were damaged so we didn't have the time to repair them all. So we pick the one with the Zords that were less damaged and the Morpher that was associated with the respective Zords. Thanks to me fighting dark specter I did not need to use my Zords and because of my master Morpher I had three of them. "

"All but the Red Zeo Ranger power coins were intact And I lost the capability of using the Red Zeo Ranger Zord a long time ago before the conflict even started, so we had three intact morphers and Zords That belonged to me. The main Lightspeed Rescue Zords we're perfectly intact Due to their focus on Rescue operations. Unfortunately, the only Morpher we could recover is the titanium Ranger Morpher but luckily the Lightspeed Rescue Zords can be operated by a single person remotely, and the Megazord can be operated by a single pilot. The next one was the mega-ship and the space Pink Ranger Morpher. The mega-ship was simply disabled and the Pink Ranger Morpher was the only one intact. The last one is the Red Quantum Ranger and the Quantasaurus Rex Zord. Even though this one was on the front lines, it had the least damage out of all of the Zord there. That and had its respective Morpher intact, a lot of the Zords that were destroyed took the Morphers that the occupants had with them. After we repaired all the Zords we modified them to be compatible with the others allowing the other Zords to combine to make them more versatile. We also made it so that any other Rangers could call upon them. But unfortunately, the last thing we did was install Deca and upload our minds before we died. It might have sounded like we did a lot but it really wasn't." Tommy paused to allow them to absorb and process the information he presented.

But it didn't take long for Melissa to speak up, even after the massive info dump that Tommy just dropped on top of them. "Umm, Dr. Oliver sir, how does this involve Terra Venture? " This has been bugging her ever since they arrived. The project might have been only a test of some kind, perhaps to see if they could trust them. But Kimberly and probably by extension, the rest of them were oddly invested in it.

"Yes, I was getting to that, and in the future just call me Tommy or Dr. O. Now you see the planet Mirinoi which is the colony that Terra Venture settled before it was destroyed. But what a lot of people don't know about it, is that just like Earth that planet had a large deposit of magic and grid energy. The colonists quickly figured this out and so they scavenged Terra Ventures 4 grid reactors and built 5 other grid reactors. Grid reactors are extremely powerful energy sources nearly a hundred times more powerful than any Fusion reactors ever built on Earth. Now imagine what would happen to a planet if all 8 of those Fusion reactors were simultaneously overloaded and exploded." Tommy finished with a grimace.

This made the group pale at the implications of that explanation. Izuku though was the first one to recover and ask the question that was on everybody's mind. " How do you know this, and why would somebody do something like that in the first place? " Izuku said slightly fearing the answer.

Tommy just sighs before explaining. "First more history on the planet. 2 years after the planet was settled neighboring planets took notice and ventured there. eventually, they made contact with the planet and after a year of negotiations, they established a free trade agreement. Because of this a lot of aliens settled on the planet and set up shop but there was a problem. You see the Galaxy Rangers were pretty much stretched thin because they weren't just looking out for one planet but now 20 so a new organization was formed, it was known to the wider Galaxy as Space Patrol Delta or SPD For short. The organization took advantage of the large deposits of energy on the planet and created the first mass-produced Morpher that was based on the Space Rangers Morpher design." Tommy pulled up an image of the first generation. The first generation looked like the Space Rangers but was heavily modified with tactical combat gear and equipment.

"The first generation was not as powerful as an average Power Ranger but they made up for it with the versatility of there gear. The second iteration of the mass-produced morphers are the ones you're probably most familiar with. " Once again Tommy pulled up an image, but this time it was to display the standard SPD Rangers.

"these became the standard SPD morphers. And every planet was assigned a team. This included Earth but they were mostly assigned to the sector and did not step on Earth as much since we already had an abundance of Power Ranger teams. There are other SPD morphers but we can discuss them another time. Now because SPD was based on Mirinoi it was the first planet to be attacked by dark specter and apparently it was such an overwhelming Force that they knew that they were going to lose. So they... " Tommy was cut off by Izuku as he finishes his sentence

"they destroyed the entire planet hoping to take as many of them with them." Izuku said darkly, which Tommy confirmed with a nod. There was a small pause after that to digest that information. But eventually, David decided to speak up

"And if I dare to ask how did you figure this out," David said

"It's because 2 days ago we received a message containing the entire SPD database and the footage of the assault as well as the last message of the commander of SPD. Before you ask the reason it took so long to get here was that the enemy had taken out the communications array before the attack. But they were able to modify a shuttle communication system to transmit a signal back to Earth. Unfortunately, the shuttle communication array wasn't designed to send a message to Earth in a reasonable amount of time. So they couldn't use it to call for help. Realizing this they decided to Preserve themselves and the only way they could was to send us all the knowledge that they had and a message to remember them bye." Kimberly said answering David's question and after a slight pause, she continued.

" Me, Melissa, deca, and izuku, we originally thought that the energy wave that hit this planet which I would like to point out was a mixture of grid and magical energy. Came from Terra Venture when it was destroyed by crashing into the Moon that Orbitz Mirinoi. We Believe when their reactors exploded they Unleashed an energy wave that eventually hit our planet. Although I wasn't really part of this investigation since I was just a face that your kids talk to. I mostly repeated what Deca said but Even I could tell, there were holes in our theory." Kimberly said and after signaling Deca, Deca Continued where Kimberly Left off.

"Even though the energy pattern was an 87% match to the reactors that were given to Terra Venture. All the calculations we ran up clearly stated that Terra Ventures reactors did not have enough power to produce such a powerful energy wave. even if they were overcharged before exploding." Deca said then Kimberly continued.

"Another nail in the proverbial coffin is what we recently discovered. Apparently, the energy charge was focused towards Earth which I believe is another attempt to leave their legacy behind. " Seeing that Kimberly and Deca's little tag team was finally finished, Tommy decided to speak up again.

"Yes and because of that gift, we now have enough grid and magical energy to start up Power Ranger operations again and at full capacity no less. Which brings me to the offer that I have for both of you. Izuku Midoriya and Melissa Shield do you want to become the newest generation of Power Rangers?"
