WHO IS DEADLIEST?!

To find out, we've assembled a team of world class fighters to test history's most lethal weapons. Using 21st-century science, we'll see what happens when to warriors go toe to toe.

No rules. No safety. No mercy. It's a duel to the death to decide who is...THE FICTIONAL DEADLIEST WARRIOR!

Here in our elite fight club, we have gathered doctors, scientists and weapons experts to test out the lethal arsenals wielded by each of our combatants to determine who would win a fight between two warriors who never met in a face to face duel:

Caesar's Legion

Appearing from: Fallout: New Vegas

Leader: Caesar

Home Base: Flagstaff, Arizona

Main Enemy: New California Republic

War Boys

Appearing from: Mad Max: Fury Road

Leader: Immortan Joe

Home Base: The Citadel

Main Enemy: Mad Max

"Today we venture into the post-apocalypse as we profile two warrior societies who serve leaders they see as living gods with fanatical devotion. In one corner you have Caesar's Legion, the brutal slaver society that seeks to recreate a new Rome. In the other, you have the War Boys, the deadly road warriors who have torn a path of death and destruction throughout the Australian Outback," biomedical scientist Bradley Foster started.

"Don't be fooled by their cosplay costumes, Caesar's Legion is filled with hardened killers to the core that have shown themselves more than willing to use simple blades against enemies packing plenty of firepower. They are organized, they are disciplined, they are in excellent shape, and ready to follow Caesar's order to the very end. On the flip side, the War Boys are filled with guys often plagued by a number of serious health issues, most commonly lymphoma, yet they charge into battle knowing they are going to die. They truly see themselves dying for a noble cause in the service of Immortan Joe," trauma doctor Joseph Kaiser added.

"Being from the post-apocalypse, we are dealing with guys who don't have much to choose from. They are forced to improvise with whatever they can get their hands on and they've used it to devastating effect. It's allowed the Legion to fight the more advanced NCR to a standstill and has made the War Boys one of the most feared factions in all of the Australian Outback," computer expert Eddie Cortez explained.

"Enough talk. It's game time," Bradley concluded.

The camera cut to a man wearing a pelt from the head of a coyote and shades. Aside from that, he was wearing typical Legion armor crafted from scavenged pre-War sports equipment. He held an assault rifle in hand that he looked over before pointing it at the camera.

Up first to represent Caesar's Legion will be Vulpes Inculta.

The leader of the frumentarii, Vulpes is an expert on the Legion's tactics, both through direct combat and espionage.

"To serve the mighty Caesar is the greatest of honor of all. We are on a mission to pacify the land and will crush all who stand in our way," Vulpes spoke with an air of overconfidence.

The camera then cut over to a tall, muscular man of Hispanic descent, wearing a helmet with a bright red frill atop it and patchwork body armor. He had on a mechanical glove and drew back to punch a hole through a heavy bag, ripping it from its chain and sending it flying across the room.

Also on hand to represent Caesar's Legion will be Aurelius of Phoenix.

A highly decorated centurion, Aurelius has fought in numerous battles against the Legion's enemies and knows firsthand what kind of toughness is required to be in their ranks.

"These War Boys are nothing more than bothersome profligates waiting to be stomped out like a common radroach," Aurelius growled.

The Legion had its humble beginnings when a Follower of the Apocalypse named Edward Sallow and his companions were captured for ransom by the Blackfoot tribe in the year 2247. It was a time when they were warring with seven other tribes, which would see Sallow training the tribe in warfare and strategy. The tribals would come to admire him so much, they would make them their leader and it was then he took the name "Caesar." Modeling the group after the classic Roman Empire, Caesar would lead the Legion on to defeat the other tribes with those conquered being conscripted, enslaved, or killed. Leading campaigns against other tribes, Caesar's Legion would go on to conquer 86 tribes by the year 2271 and establish themselves as the most powerful society east of the Colorado River.

"It was a glorious time as the savages inhabiting the wastes had come to know fear. It was the will of Mars at work and the Legion was but his sword spilling the blood of our inferiors," Vulpes spoke.

For the following 6 years, the Legion's dominance would go unchallenged until they expanded westward into the Mojave Wasteland and made contact with the New California Republic near New Vegas. They would begin a brutal campaign to take the region with Caesar looking to make New Vegas his own Rome.

"The Legion is ordained by the god of war to conquer all Earth. Try as they may, the profligates who oppose us only delay the inevitable. They think all the guns they carry alone can protect them, yet for as long as we breathe, we shall carry out the orders of Caesar," Aurelius concluded.

Caesar's Legion carried a deadly arsenal in battle which they used to conquer all who opposed them:

Short Range: Machete

Mid-Range Pistol: S&W Model 29

Mid-Range Sub-machine Gun: 12.7mm SMG

Long Range: Colt Model 933

Special Weapon: Power Fist

But how will the fearsome Legion stand against an equally fanatical enemy in the service of a living god?

The camera cuts to a bearded brown-haired man in a black leather outfit and a metal brace on his left leg. He is shown loading some bullets into the chambers of a revolver before slapping it shut and taking aim.

Up first to represent the War Boys is Max Rockatansky.

A former MFP officer turned drifter, Max was imprisoned and later fought against the War Boys on a relentless pursuit throughout the Australian wastelands, able to attest to their brutality.

"These War Boys are as merciless and unyielding as you can get. I doubt they're gonna be scared off by a few guys in skirts," Max spoke.

He is joined by a woman with a buzz cut and her forehead covered in grease, in addition to a mechanical prosthetic in place of her left forearm. She slips a fresh clip into an assault rifle and racks the bolt.

Also representing the War Boys will be Furiosa.

A defector who once served as one of Immortan Joe's Imperators, Furiosa brings intimate knowledge of the War Boys' lifestyle and tactics.

"The War Boys live only to serve Immortan Joe. They follow his commands without question, even if it means they are forced to die in battle," Furiosa explained.

Little is known of the War Boys' early history, how they came to be founded or how long they have been in power. Under the leadership of the despotic Immortan Joe, they would gain great power and influence once they captured a massive aquifer known as The Citadel, from there capturing what would become Gas Town and The Bullet Farm, expanding his empire's reach until they came to control scarce resources such as water, food, ammunition, and crops. It would be the War Boys serving on the front lines as his fanatical shock troopers, extorting nearby settlements for supplies and punishing those who refused.

"To be selected as a War Boy was considered a privilege. Only the strongest and healthiest among The Wretched are chosen. They are indoctrinated into the Cult of the V8 and taught to worship their leader as their absolute benefactor. It takes a while before they are allowed into battle, but when they are, they blindly follow Immortan Joe no matter what he does," Furiosa explained.

Plagued by numerous health problems throughout their short lives, the War Boys ultimately followed their leader to the very end down the "fury road" as he attempted to stop his wives from being whisked away to freedom by the renegade Imperator Furiosa, leading to his ultimate death, along with those of his most loyal followers.

"These guys are in a death cult. They seek to be chromed in the belief that they will ride on through the gates of Valhalla. If that doesn't scream fierce devotion, I don't know what does," Mad Max concluded.

The War Boys rode into battle with a killing arsenal bestowed upon them by their tyrannical leader:

Short Range: Monkey Wrench

Mid-Range Pistol: Ruger Vaquero

Mid-Range Submachine Gun: PPSh-41

Long Range: Heckler & Koch G3A4

Special Weapon: Chainsaw

Given the post-apocalyptic times, both warriors were forced to improvise when it came to close quarters combat, and they did so with terrifying results.

For Caesar's Legion, their soldiers sliced through all obstacles with a deadly home-made killer of their own, the Machete.

(A Legion soldier is shown slicing an NCR soldier's gut open with his machete before beheading him.)

Machete

Length: 16 in. blade, 6 in. handle

Weight: 2 lbs.

Material: Steel blade, wood handle

"All young Legionaries must prove themselves in battle before they are permitted to use firearms. They always start with one of these before they can advance to better weaponry," Vulpes explained showing off a crude machete for the panelists.

"It's a lawn mower blade with a wooden handle attached. It really shows off the resourcefulness required to survive in the post-apocalyptic wastelands," Eddie explained sizing up the blade while Vulpes stared coldly towards him beneath his shades.

"We have a gel dummy here for you to show off what your blade can do," Bradley said motioning towards the gel target, covered in the white powder and black grease of a typical War Boy.

"Consider it done," Vulpes said taking his position.

"Alright Vulpes, on your go!" Bradley called out.

With a battle cry, Vulpes brought his blade down onto the dummy's right arm, tearing deep into the flesh and leaving it hanging by a thread, before he brought it down onto the left arm and completely severed the limb. He then drew back and struck the target in the throat, the blade tearing deep and sending a torrent of stage blood gushing down the dummy's chest. He wasn't finished as he took the blade and proceeded to saw through the dummy's throat until its severed head was sent clattering to the ground.

Vulpes stood back and cleaned the fake blood from his blade as Dr. Kaiser walked over to make his assessment, starting by tearing the right arm away from the dummy.

"Your first strike alone is cutting through muscle and tendons, all the way right down to the bone. It won't kill him right away, but his arm is useless. Your second shot however, did succeed in taking the guy's other arm off for a rapid bleed out and with it, a kill. Your first strike to this guy's throat alone is an instant kill, even without the show at the end," the doctor concluded as he lifted the severed head for all to see.

"The Legion will always do what it can to send a message should any dare to rise against us," Vulpes smirked.

"The War Boys are used to brutality. They would not be deterred. They would want to find whoever did it and inflict even greater damage upon them," Furiosa spoke.

To answer the Legion's challenge, the War Boys respond with a deadly makeshift mace, the Monkey Wrench.

(A War Boy is shown bludgeoning a town defender to death with his monkey wrench, laughing hysterically as blood sprays all over him.)

Monkey Wrench

Length: 21 in.

Weight: 1 lb.

Material: Aluminum Bronze

"The War Boys are taught to worship all things mechanical and related to them," Furiosa said raising a regular monkey wrench to show off, "This might look like a typical tool to you, but to them it is sacred. When they aren't using these to fix their vehicles, they're using them to bash skulls in."

"And it just so happens we have a skull for you to bash in," Bradley said motioning to a nearby gel bust.

Furiosa only nodded and took her position in front of the bust.

"Alright Furiosa, on your go!"

Furiosa brought the wrench down on the target's forehead, tearing open the skin and sending stage blood oozing out all over. She went for another powerful blow that tore off a large portion of the face before following up with another blow that split the skull wide open and continued until she had reduced the brains inside to mush.

"No mercy," Dr. Kaiser commented as he observed the aftermath, "Your first strike alone could be a killing blow as you split this guy's skull open and possibly lodged skull fragments into his brain. The extra blows would have been for show at this point," he said as he tried to avoid stepping in chunks of gel and fake brains.

"Even the lowest Legionary recruit wears a helmet in battle. Would you care to demonstrate your inferior toy's effectiveness against it?" Aurelius asked bringing forth a motorcycle helmet outfitted with a red, white and black plume.

"Gladly," Furiosa nodded.

Furiosa waited as a new gel bust was outfitted with the Legion helmet.

"Alright, Furiosa, attack!"

Furiosa brought the monkey wrench down on top of the helmet and tore off several feathers as the head rocked violently underneath. She brought it down again, yet the helmet still seemed to hold out beneath the force of the blow. With a frustrated grunt, she brought the wrench down again, yet only left cracks and dents on the surface.

"Without question, this guy would be stunned and possibly concussed. There might also be some strain done to his neck judging by how you had it rocking beneath the blows, but otherwise, this doesn't look like a kill," Dr. Kaiser commented.

"Heh, pathetic!" Aurelius chuckled.

"Just you wait and see. It isn't over yet!" Furiosa said narrowing her eyes at the centurion.

Both melee weapons produced gruesome results, but where do our panelists stand in the end?

"Both these weapons inflicted great damage upon their targets, but for me it was just so much more direct with the Legion's machete. Edge Legion," Bradley started.

"The fact that the Legion crafts their machetes from pre-War lawn mowers gives it that jagged blade that can inflict so much extra trauma, coupled with the War Boys wearing little to no armor makes them a much bigger target. Edge Legion," Dr. Kaiser followed up.

"I agree. The machete was more destructive, whereas the monkey wrench was effective until pitted against the helmet. Edge Legion," Eddie concluded.

In short range weapons, Caesar's Legion takes the edge with the Machete.

Coming up, the bullets fly as both warriors bring the heat to the battle at hand.

XXXXXX

Caesar's Legion, the vicious slavers of the Mojave Desert who fought the more advanced NCR to a standstill, thanks largely in part to a fighting force comprised of battle hardened soldiers.

"Our men don't just get promoted to higher ranks like the wastrels we face. We earn our ranks through the blood we spill," Aurelius spoke.

War Boys, the fierce underlings of Immortan Joe who worship all things mechanical, crafting machines of death and destruction that struck fear into the battered survivors of the Australian outback.

"All War Boys start out as mechanics. They are taught to worship machinery, which they use to craft into their own war machines they use to run down anything in their way," Furiosa explained.

Plenty of guns and ammo were left lying around following the great wars, leaving plenty for the scavengers to pick up.

For the War Boys, they made use of of a revolver that had its start in cowboy action shooting, only to serve them loyally as they fought in the deserts, the Ruger Vaquero.

(A War Boy is shown drawing his Ruger and shooting down a town defender before he can open fire.)

Ruger Vaquero

Single-Action

Length: 13 in.

Weight: 48 oz.

Cartridge: .44-40 Winchester or .357 Magnum

Capacity: 6 Shots

"This gun was popular with Immortan Joe's lieutenants," Mad Max said showing off the revolver for the panelists, "It's got speed, it's got power, and you can use more than one type of ammo with it."

"Well let's see it in action then," Bradley said motioning towards the firing range behind him, "We have 3 charging Legionaries here, including one outfitted in their standard armor. You've got 6 shots, so make them count."

Max nodded and took his position before the 3 targets, the one in the middle wearing football shoulder pads and a reinforced catcher's vest.

"Alright Max, on 3...2...1, open fire!"

Max immediately set his sights on the armored target and fired a round that punched through its armored chest, but then had to stop and cock the hammer after his first shot. He then aimed higher and fired a round through its face, repeating the same motion that followed. He then switched to the target on the far right and fired two rounds through its chest before focusing on the last target and repeating the process, including fanning the hammer afterward.

"Consider them finished," Max commented.

Dr. Kaiser made his way over to the targets, starting with the armored one. He carefully removed the armor and noticed the large hole left behind, "This armor did nothing to protect this guy. He has a round through the chest and his aorta has been pierced. He is D.O.A.," he said before examining the shot through the face, "And your second shot gets him right through his right eye for another instant kill."

He then examined the other targets, "And I'm seeing similar results with both these guys. Rounds through the chest that would result in instant kills. You are 3 for 3."

"But I notice that since it's a single-action firearm, he has to cock the hammer after every single shot. That would cost him valuable seconds in an actual firefight," Eddie commented.

"Especially with a horde of fearless Legion soldiers about to overrun you," Bradley added.

"Like any degenerate, your War Boys come ill-prepared and overly reliant upon inferior weaponry. The Legion does not make that mistake," Aurelius spoke.

When Caesar's Legion enters a firefight, they rely upon a powerful revolver to put any threat out of their misery, the S&W Model 29.

(A Legionary is shown shooting an NCR veteran ranger twice in the chest with his Model 29 before shooting him again in the face.)

S&W Model 29

Double-Action

Length: 10.24 in.

Weight: 2.81 lbs.

Cartridge: .44 Magnum

Capacity: 6 Shots

"The Legion is primarily forced to scavenge from fallen enemies for our firearms, but when we do, we see to it our higher ranking members get the best of the best," Aurelius said proudly displaying his revolver for the panelists.

"Not something you'd want to be on the business end of," Eddie commented sizing up the large gun.

"A single shot can drop a fully grown Cazador," Aurelius smirked, "Yet we don't like to rely upon guns as much as those NCR lapdogs."

"It's going to be the same test for you, Aurelius. You have 3 charging War Boys and 6 shots to prove your point," Bradley spoke motioning to the fresh foam targets.

Aurelius looked down upon him before nodding, "If you insist."

The centurion took his position and readied his gun.

Bradley hesitated before speaking "Alright Aurelius, on your go!"

The centurion took aim and fired a shot into the face of the middle target, blowing a large crater into his head before aiming lower and hitting him straight through the heart. He then turned his sights on the second target and blew a large hole through his chest and another through his gut. He then fired a round through the third target's throat before using his final round on the target's chest.

"Damn, that was like lightning," Bradley commented.

"He didn't even have to cock his gun after every shot either," Eddie added.

Dr. Kaiser made his way over to assess the damage, "Damn, you can tell the power behind these rounds with the larger holes. Most of your shots are instant kills across the board, minus the gut shot to the second guy. It is a mortal wound though."

"Either way, the profligate dies in the end," Aurelius nodded.

In addition to their revolvers, both warriors also bring sub-machine guns as a part of their mid-ranged arsenal.

For the War Boys, they relied upon a trusted Soviet-made killer to mow down scores of those who opposed them, the PPSh-41 sub-machine gun.

(A War Boy clings to the side of a dune buggy chasing after a fleeing car, peppering the rusted vehicle with rounds from his PPSh-41 before it bursts into flames.)

PPSh-41

Full Auto

Length: 33.2 in.

Weight: 8 lbs.

Cartridge: 7.62×25mm Tokarev

Capacity: 71 Shots

"This is just one of the many guns that was left laying around after the great wars. The War Boys made good use of this when I fought against them," Max explained showing off the sub-machine gun to the panelists.

"Such primitive tech," Aurelius scoffed before producing his own sub-machine gun, "Your War Boys would be bloody strips at our feet."

To answer the challenge of the War Boys, Caesar's Legion fires back with an improved killer that was popular among Legionary assassins, the 12.7mm SMG.

(A Legionary assassin is shown cutting down two NCR troopers in a flurry of gunfire with his 12.7mm SMG.)

12.7mm SMG

Full Auto

Length: 16.5 in.

Weight: 7 lbs.

Cartridge: 12.7mm

Capacity: 21 Shots

"Our 12.7 has a harder hitting round, it's lighter, and more maneuverable for close quarters combat," Aurelius said showing off his sub-machine gun.

"We've come up with a test for both of you to show off what your guns can do," Bradley said motioning to an open range behind him, "For this test, we are going to simulate an actual battle, where you would have enemies and friendlies darting back and forth at a manic pace. To up the ante, there will be wreckage in the way and thick smoke obscuring your vision," he said just as a fire crew was lighting small fires to create the smoke clouds. "There are 5 hostiles and 3 friendlies. Hit the hostiles and avoid the friendlies. Aurelius, you're up first this time."

Aurelius nodded and took his position.

"Aurelius, on 3...2...1, open fire!"

The centurion stood as the targets drifted back and forth before he fired into a wooden target emblazoned with the visage of an attacking War Boy, stopping only as a Legion target slipped into view. He waited as another hostile target emerged from behind a rusted car hull and pumped a few rounds into its chest, stopping to avoid another Legionary. The smoke was starting to get thicker and Aurelius strained his eyes before firing into another hostile target and then at another, only to find his barrage interrupted by some warped pieces of scrap metal and then he was forced to reload.

"Never a good thing in the middle of a firefight," Eddie commented to his fellow panelists, while Max and Furiosa looked on quietly.

Aurelius ejected the spent clip and quickly slid in a fresh one before finally firing into the target that had eluded him. He still struggled with the smoke obscuring the range, but kept his composure before the final untouched hostile slid into view and he fired a barrage into its chest, prompting Bradley to call out "Time!"

"45 seconds!"

The fire team stepped in to douse the flames before Dr. Kaiser made his way over to examine all of the targets.

"I am seeing multiple rounds fired into the chests and stomachs of all the hostile targets. From what we've generated, these rounds hit with the force of the .50 Action Express fired by a Desert Eagle. Being hit by one of those rounds would be painful enough, but imagine being hit by an entire barrage of them at a rapid fire pace," the doctor concluded.

"But he did have to stop and reload halfway through the fight. He'd be dead if these had been actual War Boys," Furiosa added.

"I doubt some ill-trained barbarian would be able to capitalize upon that," Aurelius scoffed.

"Alright Max, you're up next! When you're ready," Bradley called out.

Max nodded and took his position as the new targets were set up and new fires were ignited.

"Alright Max, on 3...2...1, light 'em up!"

Max waited for the targets to get moving before he took aim at a Legion target and pumped a barrage into its chest and stomach, stopping only as a War Boy target slid into view. Already the smoke was getting thick and he was forced to take his time before opening up on the second hostile target with a more controlled barrage. He waited as the targets moved out from behind sheet metal coverings and fired into the third target with another barrage, but halted as a friendly target slipped into view. The smoke was getting thicker with every passing second, yet Max tried to keep his focus and picked out the shape of the fourth hostile, firing a barrage into its neck and face. He aimed for the fifth hostile, but was forced to stand down as it ducked behind a wrecked care until it was out in the open and he was able to pepper it with bullets.

"Time!" Bradley called out, "37 seconds!"

Dr. Kaiser again waited for the flames to be doused before making his way over to assess the damage done, "Once again I am seeing all hostiles eliminated with no friendlies touched. You also pumped more rounds into your targets, yet they don't appear to be as hard hitting as the 12.7's."

"But still, you have rounds left over," Eddie added.

"The War Boys are more prepared than some would think," Max said nodding towards Aurelius.

"Consider yourself lucky, profligate. Had this been under different circumstances, one nod of my chin and you would've been decorating a cross," Aurelius growled as the panelists looked on in consternation.

All mid-ranged weapons showed off their killing capabilities, but where do our panelists stand?

"Starting out with revolvers, this was closer than I thought it would be as both these guns fire hard hitting rounds, with the Vaquero holding its own against the Model 29, but ultimately it falls down to who can fire their gun faster. The Vaquero is a single-action, whereas the Model 29 is double-action, which means you don't have to cock the hammer before firing like you do with the former. Edge Model 29," Bradley started.

"I agree. The Vaquero shows a power that allows it to hold its own against the famously powerful Model 29, but the double-action feature of the Model 29 gives it an edge, albeit a slight one," Dr. Kaiser seconded.

"Can't say I disagree. Slight edge to the Model 29," Eddie concluded.

In mid-ranged revolvers, Caesar's Legion takes the edge with the S&W Model 29.

"Up next, we move on to sub-machine guns. In terms of power alone, the 12.7mm would take the edge with the harder hitting round, but when it carries a drum magazine like shown in the PPSh-41 test here, it has 71 rounds compared to the 21 of the 12.7. That right there allows the PPSh-41 user to go longer in a battle without having to stop and reload. Edge War Boys," Bradley started.

"If it hadn't been for the drum magazine, I would have given it to the 12.7 also based upon its power, but 71 to 21, edge PPSh-41," Eddie seconded.

"Plus you have to factor in the PPSh-41's faster rate of fire compared to the 12.7's, one that can go past 1,000 rpm. Edge War Boys," Dr. Kaiser concluded.

In sub-machine guns, the War Boys take the edge with the PPSh-41.

Coming up, the shootout intensifies when the battle is taken to long range.

And then later, Caesar's Legion or War Boys? Who will be The Fictional Deadliest Warrior?

XXXXXX

Caesar's Legion and the War Boys, two warrior societies forged from the harshness of their post-apocalyptic world where death is a constant threat, yet is met by both with a fearless tenacity that makes them especially fearsome to their enemies.

Despite a love shared for close quarters contact, both combatants also relied upon trusted assault rifles for ranged combat.

For the War Boys, they turned to a variant of the famed G3 family, the Heckler & Koch G3A4.

(A War Boy is shown firing wildly until he finally drops a rifle-wielding defender who was sniping other War Boys.)

Hecker & Koch G3A4

Select-Fire

Length: 33.1 in.

Weight: 10 lbs.

Cartridge: 7.62×51mm NATO

Capacity: 20 Rounds

"Many of Immortan Joe's early followers were professional soldiers with their guns left over from their service, which were then in turn passed down to future War Boys," Furiosa said showing off the assault rifle.

"Once again we are setting up another test similar to the desert environment the Legion would have been used to fighting in," Bradley said motioning to the open range behind him, where several large rock formations were present, "We've got 7 hostile targets approaching, 3 static, 2 moving, and 2 pop ups. We want all of them dead."

"You got it," Furiosa said taking her position.

"Alright, on 3...2...1, shoot 'em up!"

Furiosa fired a 3 shot burst into the chest of the first static target, before a pop up came into view and she fired another trio into its chest. She then switched her sights to a moving target and pumped it with four rounds before double tapping the other moving one. Another pop up came into view and she double tapped it before hitting another stationary with three more. Only one stationary target remained and she pumped three more rounds into its chest before her gun clicked empty.

"Time! 27 seconds!" Bradley called out.

Dr. Kaiser went over to assess the damage done to all targets, "I am seeing dead Legionaries across the board. You kept your shots controlled and in tight clusters around their chests, hitting all vital organs. We're talking pretty hard hitting rounds too judging by the size of the exit wounds left behind," the doctor concluded, noting the width of the bullet holes.

"And just barely though," Eddie added.

"Typical unprepared savages, following base instinct alone," Vulpes said shaking his head, "The Legion comes prepared and with more left over for any threats that may lurk nearby."

To answer the War Boys' challenge, the Legion fires back with a member of the famed Colt family, the Colt Model 933.

(A Legion soldier takes aim and snipes an NCR soldier down with his Colt Model 933 before he can finish off one of his colleagues.)

Colt Model 933

Select-Fire

Length: 30 in.

Weight: 5.8 lbs.

Cartridge: 5.56×45mm

Capacity: 30 Rounds

"This is one of the many guns we have salvaged from our defeated enemies," Vulpes said holding up his rifle for the panelists, "A trusted marksman carbine that can cut through plenty of wastrels from a distance with far better accuracy. Although, it's still not as satisfying as driving a blade through their thick skull."

"Well it's the same test for you, Vulpes. You have 7 attacking War Boys and you have one clip to prove your point. Time's up once you've eliminated all targets," Bradley spoke.

"Very well," Vulpes said taking his position.

"On 3...2...1, take 'em down!"

Vulpes opened fire with a trio of shots to the closest static target's chest, before he followed up on the next stationary target with an additional two rounds through the target's face. A pop up then appeared that caught his attention and he fired four rounds through its chest and then he followed up with another three shot burst as a moving target strode past. He then waited for the other moving target to come into view as he fired a four shot burst into its midsection before the second pop up appeared, only to fall with a trio to its chest. There was only one stationary target left and Vulpes let loose a flurry of ten shots that tore through the target's chest and stomach before he stood down.

"Talk about sending a message," Eddie commented at the brutality shown.

"Indeed. You'd be leaving behind a pile of dead bodies with instant kill shots all the way around," Dr. Kaiser spoke as he examined all of the bullet riddled targets, "I notice your rounds don't hit as hard compared to the Heckler's, but yet these holes are just more smooth and it's easy to tell how tighter they are with their groupings."

"Not that we like to rely upon guns alone, but when it comes down to it, our enemy's know how to pick their hardware," Vulpes smirked.

Both rifles showed off deadly accuracy and reliability, but where do our panelists stand?

"While the G3A4 has the harder-hitting round, I'm giving this to the Colt. It's lighter, more compact, and has 10 extra rounds. Edge Legion," Bradley started.

"I agree based on the conditions both warriors fight in, plus those extra bullets can be the big different maker in the end. Edge Legion," Eddie seconded.

"I agree with both of you on this one. Edge Legion," Dr. Kaiser concluded.

In long range weapons, Caesar's Legion takes the edge with the Colt Model 933.

Coming up, bones will be shattered and limbs will be severed when special weapons are put to the test.

Stay tuned for more post-apocalyptic mayhem!

XXXXXX

The time has now come for both warriors to unleash their special weapons.

For the Legion, they delighted in close quarters combat and with their preferred approach, they relied upon a brutal bone crunching glove of the future to bust skulls, the Power Fist

(A Legion centurion is shown punching an NCR soldier in the face with his power fist, reducing his face to hamburger meat.)

Power Fist

Length: 10 in.

Aurelius stood before the panelists and showed off the power fist.

"This is a mechanical glove mounted with a hydraulic piston powered ram. When I punch, the pistons push the ram forward, smashing into whoever stands in my way," the centurion explained.

"Right now, we have a 400 pound piece of beef standing before you. Would you care to do the honors?" Bradley asked motioning towards the suspended slab.

Aurelius said nothing and walked over to his target. Drawing his fist back, he delivered a powerful punch that was enough to make the slab wobble violently, a violent crack echoing from his blow.

"Damn, I've seen a lot of hard hits in my life, but that takes the cake," Eddie spoke, flinching as if he felt the blow himself.

"Indeed this was no ordinary hit," Bradley said taking in the force readings, "I clocked in his punching speed and it was roughly 50 percent faster than you average Olympic boxer."

"And your punching force delivered well over 1,000 pounds, which is enough to break most facial bones upon contact. The Power Fist effectively quadrupled that," Dr. Kaiser said examining the beef slab, "This guy's ribs would be turned to dust and any skin in the way would be torn through."

"But you've gotta get right up close and personal with this guy. A War Boy won't just sit there and let that happen and if a Legion guy does get close enough, he's gonna be in for a messy surprise," Max said stepping up with his special weapon.

With all they were left with, the War Boys were forced to improvise and were able to make deadly use of whatever they could get. In their hands, a common power tool became a deadly weapon, the Chainsaw.

(A War Boy hanging from a pole propels himself toward an enemy vehicle and uses his chainsaw to cut through a mounted gunner.)

Chainsaw

Gas Powered

Length: 2 ft. blade

Weight: 11 lbs.

"They used to use these for cutting down trees, but in my time, it's mostly used on other people," Max said showing off his chainsaw to the panelists, "I had a few of those maniacs try using this on me as we made our way down the fury road."

"I never thought I'd see the day we would be testing a chainsaw on this show, but just looking at that lets me know things are gonna get messy," Eddie said putting on a pair of safety glasses.

"Well, we've got an attacking Legionary for you to test your chainsaw out on," Bradley said motioning towards a waiting gel torso. "You've got 15 seconds to do as much damage possible."

"Heh, that's beyond overkill," Max said taking his position and pulling the saw's cord, revving it up for all to hear.

"Then on 3...2...1, saw him up!"

Max slowly shoved the roaring blade into the dummy's gut, the sound of ripping flesh filling the air as the running blade ripped through the stomach cavity until it was sticking out of the dummy's back, the panelists wincing at the grotesque sight. The road warrior wasn't finished as he pulled the blade out and then brought it down on top of the dummy's skull, cutting effortlessly through it like it were a piece of wood until he was at the base of the neck. He then pulled the blade out again and brought it down on the dummy's right arm, cleaving it off in messy fashion.

"Time!" Bradley shouted.

Max ignored him and proceeded to bring the blade down onto the dummy's other arm until it was severed in less than a second. He then finished by jamming the saw into the chest cavity before finally pulling away.

"Wow...just wow..." Eddie gasped, visibly shaken as he stared at the mutilated remnants of the torso.

"My god...this wasn't a test...this was a damned murder!" Dr. Kaiser said as he stared at the dismembered torso from a safe distance. "Your first attack alone would kill this guy from a rapid blood loss within seconds. You tore through his stomach and turned his organs into bloody strips. It would be one of the most excruciating ways imaginable as we've ever seen on here," he said to Bradley and Eddie, who both nodded in unison. "Your second attack saw you cutting right into this guy's skull right down the freaking middle! It would be quicker and more merciful compared to the blow to the gut."

"Mercy isn't a word the War Boys believe in. If Immortan Joe wants it messy, they're going to deliver," Max replied, even seeming a bit perturbed by his own actions.

"I will admit I was impressed. That is the kind of message the Legion would want to send to all who would oppose us, but still not enough for them to defeat us," Vulpes said looking on while Aurelius remained silent next to him.

Both special weapons showed off their gory specialties, but where do our panelists stand?

"These are two of the most unusual weapons we've ever featured on here, but after seeing them both in action, I have to go with the chainsaw. It has the better reach that would cut down a Legionary before he could get close enough to punch him out. Edge War Boys," Bradley started.

"The power fist is devastating without question, yet it forces the user to get within range of the chainsaw's blade, creating more danger for the wearer. The chainsaw however, does carry the risk of running out of gas. As long as the user comes prepared, the chainsaw takes the edge," Dr. Kaiser seconded.

"Both these weapons were brutal, but that chainsaw demonstration is gonna leave me with nightmares for quite a while after this. I mean goddamn! Edge chainsaw," Eddie concluded.

In special weapons, the War Boys take the edge with the Chainsaw.

As it is with all warriors, there is a critical X-factor that makes them who they are. For Caesar's Legion, it's their unrivaled discipline.

"As soon as you are assimilated into our ranks, you are trained to be the perfect soldier. You follow the orders of Caesar without question. If he tells you to charge a fortified position with nothing more than a sharpened stick, our men will do it. It has enabled us to conquer 86 tribes and fight the 'mighty' NCR to a standstill," Vulpes explained.

For the War Boys, it is their unrivaled creativity.

"The War Boys have nothing else to do with their free time. They worship all things mechanical and with what is left laying around, they are able to make use of anything they get their hands on. It has enabled them to create some of the deadliest weapons and vehicles our side of the desert, making them the fierce conquerors they've become known and feared as," Furiosa explained.

Coming up, it's a clash between two deadly post-apocalyptic warriors in a battle to determine who is "The Fictional Deadliest Warrior."

XXXXXX

With our testing completed and our X-factors evaluated, we are now one step closer to determining who will be "The Fictional Deadliest Warrior."

Our teams tested 5 weapons used by Caesar's Legion: the Machete, the S&W Model 29 revolver, the 12.7mm SMG, the Colt Model 933 assault rifle, and the Power Fist.

On the opposite side, 5 weapons used by the War Boys were tested: the Monkey Wrench, the Ruger Vaquero, the PPSh-41 sub-machine gun, the Heckler & Koch G3A4 assault rifle, and the Chainsaw.

In short range weapons, the Machete cut down the Monkey Wrench.

EDGE: Caesar's Legion

In mid-ranged revolvers, the double-action feature of the Model 29 allowed it to out shoot the Vaquero.

EDGE: Caesar's Legion

In mid-ranged sub-machine guns, the drum magazine doubled the number of rounds to tear through the 12.7mm.

EDGE: War Boys

In long range weapons, the Colt Model 933 cut down the G3A4.

EDGE: Caesar's Legion

And in special weapons, the Chainsaw cut down the Power Fist in gruesome fashion.

EDGE: War Boys

Our scientists and weapons experts are done with their testing. The results are in and the time has come to decide who will be the victor. The battle will be fought in a 5-on-5 squad battle between 5 Legionaries and 5 War Boys. To ensure the battle won't be decided by a single lucky blow, the battle will be simulated one thousand times in a duel to the death.

Who will win in a battle between two post-apocalyptic warrior societies?

Fierce Discipline

(An army of Legionaries stands at full attention before Legate Lanius)

vs. Slavish Devotion

(War Boys wait in line as Immortan Joe makes his way down to chrome each of them)

Suicidal Recklessness

(A chromed War Boy is shown charging a group of armed defenders and cutting down several of them in a flurry of assault rifle fire before he is finally shot to death himself.)

vs. Strategic Planning

(Legionaries are shown in wait while their snipers fire upon approaching NCR soldiers from above, giving them to cue to carry out their blitz attack, cutting down their enemies as several of their own fall in the ensuing gunfire.)

Brutal Slavers

(Victorious Legionaries stand tall over civilians they intend to take as slaves, while NCR soldiers hang on crosses behind them.)

vs. Deadly Mechanics

(The War Boys are shown racing through a settlement on their self-crafted vehicles of destruction, tearing through an army of armed defenders.)

"We've screwed around long enough, but now it's time to get down to business," Eddie said before starting the simulation.

We are taken to an undisclosed desert, where a Legionary perched on a rocky outcropping peers through his binoculars to see a large vehicle fast approaching from a distance. When he is able to see the madmen hanging from the sides.

The intelligence provided by their Frumentarius was correct and he quickly gets down and rushes to warn his colleagues of the oncoming threat.

Nearby there are four other men present, each of them clad in armor crafted from salvaged sporting equipment. One of the men is hunched over hooking up the last of the crude explosives that have been planted at various locations among the hills they now occupy, a sub-machine gun slung across his shoulder. Another man stands protectively behind him with an assault rifle in hand, as does the third man. The last man has a 12.7mm SMG, in addition to the power fist worn on his right hand. All of them had large Model 29 revolvers strapped to their sides and crudely constructed machetes held in sheaths on their belts.

They are members of a scouting force sent ahead by Caesar's Legion, who seeks to expand his empire's reach overseas into the land that was once Australia.

Caesar's Legion: 5

"Those profligates are on their way. You must ready the explosives at once!" the Legionary scout shouted as he returned to join his colleagues, reclaiming his revolver and marksman carbine in the process.

In the distance, a massive rig outfitted for war approaches the narrows, carrying a group of War Boys who have found themselves separated from their pack while they were in the midst of carrying out a massive raid.

There are five of them altogether, the man driving the rig with a large revolver strapped to his side and four of his colleagues hanging from the sides, each of them equipped with either sub-machine guns or assault rifles, including one with a chainsaw. All of them have monkey wrenches hanging from the belts they wear around their waists.

War Boys: 5

The Legionary leading the group had his own pair of binoculars and observed the oncoming rig, yet it wasn't the grand pack of heavily modified vehicles he had expected according to the reports of their Frumentarius who had been embedded near the Citadel inhabited by the War Boys.

Yet it did confirm their reliance upon vehicular combat and he was hopeful the trap they had set up would knee cap their advantage.

"Detonate the charges," he ordered.

With a nod, the demolitions specialist pushed the plunger and what would follow was a string of explosions that sent large rocks raining down into the clearing below.

The war rig was racing at full speed, when the driver was suddenly started by large blasts coming from the cliffs above.

"What the hell gives?" the driver shouted as he was forced to slam the brakes, causing the rig to fishtail as it skidded to a halt and nearly crushing one of his fellow War Boys against a sharp rock wall.

The rig barely avoided colliding with a large boulder and a thick cloud of dust filled the air in the ensuing aftermath of the rock slide, compounding the problems faced by the raiders as they found themselves wedged in a tight space and the other War Boys were forced to scale the rig to rejoin their comrades.

"Damn it! Looks like we're headin' out on foot from 'ere, boys," the driver grunted as he loaded a fresh drum magazine into his PPSh-41.

The Legionaries look on from above as they wait patiently for the thick cloud of dust to dissipate and begin slowly creeping towards the rattled War Boys, only to halt as the calls of a buzzard come from above, followed by the rattle of gunfire.

"Oy, Bolt! What in the bloody 'ell are you doin'?" the driver shouted over to his insane colleague, who suddenly fired into the air with his H&K G3A4.

"Gonna kill all you damned buzzards!" the madman shouted, cackling madly as he fired into the air.

"Hey, who the hell are them nippers!" another War Boy shouted raising his PPSh-41.

It was then the Legionaries realized they had been spotted and they raised their weapons firing down upon the War Boys, who in turn took cover behind some large rocks and started shooting back.

"Take these degenerates down!" the lead Legionary shouted, firing a salvo of rounds upon their new enemies.

The leader is forced to duck for cover as NATO rounds tear through the rocks in front of him, kicking dust and pebbles into his face. He is only given relief when the War Boy's clip runs out and he is sent fishing through the pouches on his belt for a spare, which gives the Legionary time to pop up and fire a trio of rounds into his bare, branded chest.

Caesar's Legion: 5 – War Boys: 4

Nearby, another Legionary has his 12.7mm SMG and is exchanging gunfire with the War Boys below, having just loaded a fresh clip and firing short, controlled bursts as he set his sights on a particular enemy with a sub-machine gun who was firing away like a maniac at his comrades, yet running around at the same time that was grating the Legionary's nerves, so grating the Legionary lost track of another War Boy nearby, who riddled him with Tokarev rounds that tore through his body armor.

Caesar's Legion: 4 – War Boys: 4

The gun battle continued until one of the War Boys noticed a nearby crevice and called out for his comrades to follow after him, which they did and prompting the Legionaries to abandon their higher ground in pursuit of them.

It was an area the War Boys were somewhat familiar with as they traversed a series of narrow turns to create some space between themselves and their opponents, one of the Boys' riflemen stopping every few steps to turn around and pepper the rock walls behind him with a few rounds when he assumed the Legionaries were getting closer.

He continued until he looked up and saw a patch of loose rocks that he fired upon, sending them tumbling down and blocking most of the pathway. Yet the determined Legionaries would not stop and continued after their new enemies.

The narrow trail eventually led to another opening where the War Boys were able to spread further apart and take cover behind more rock formations, the War Boys rifleman raising his G3A4 and firing a burst into the face of an approaching Legionary that split his head down the middle, yet left him out of bullets.

Caesar's Legion: 3 – War Boys: 4

The War Boy's victory was short-lived as another vengeful Legionary appeared behind his fallen friend and riddled the man's bare chest with bullets from his 12.7 as he reached down for the Vaquero strapped to his side.

Caesar's Legion: 3 – War Boys: 3

The chase continued as the remaining War Boys scattered about, yet the Legionaries would not let them go unpunished for their foolishness.

Sensing their enemies had to be nearby, the surviving trio split up and searched the crevices for any signs of their powdery challengers, with one of the Legion's riflemen slinging his Colt Model 933 across his shoulder and drawing his Model 29, creeping along for any signs of those profligates until his boot brushes against something hard.

He looks down to see a cracked skull sticking out of the dirt and then his eyes trail along the ground to see more human bones scattered about just as the revving of a chainsaw suddenly catches his attention and he whirls around to fire his revolver, yet he is too late and the chainsaw is shoved into his gut, the War Boy cackling madly as the Legionary's blood sprays all over him.

The Legionary tried to resist even as the ripping blade was sticking out of his back, but he eventually succumbed to the heavy blood loss.

Caesar's Legion: 2 – War Boys: 3

It wasn't enough for the mad War Boy as he began to shove the blade upward until it was cutting through the dead Legionary's chest and going up to split his neck and skull in half.

Unfortunately, the War Boy's insanity had cost him dearly as he turned to find another Legionary charging towards him and leaping into the air, drawing his arm back before shooting his power fist forward and driving it through the madman's face. With a sickening tear, the War Boy's face was caved in and the Legionary's gloved fist was sticking out of the back of his head.

Caesar's Legion: 2 – War Boys: 2

With a mighty grunt, the Legionary used his boot to push the dead War Boy off of him and made his way out to join his comrade.

The lead Legionary wasn't too far away and had been down to his revolver in the close quarters, yet found himself squeezing through a crevice that took him into a clearing mostly occupied by the ancient wreckage of a fallen airliner. Carefully approaching the rusted hull, he drew his marksman carbine and crept along in search of his prey, listening for any signs of movement among the creaks and groans of the twisted metal surrounding him.

And then in a flash a War Boy ran past firing away with a long spray from his PPSh-41, laughing madly as he squeezed the trigger. The Legionary tried to fire back, only to be forced for cover as a bullet grazed his arm.

The Legionary grunted through the pain and prepared to fire back until he felt a firm hand gripping his shoulder. He whirled around with his gun raised, only to calm down when he saw it was his comrade. The two men nodded to each other before popping out and firing upon the mad War Boy.

The two Legionaries stepped out to chase after the War Boy when the power fisted Legionary was suddenly surprised by another War Boy, barely avoiding a blast from his G3A4. He raised his SMG to fire back and managed to hit the rifle, wrecking it beyond repair. His 12.7 clicked empty and he leaped after the War Boy.

He found the madman waiting for him and attempted to drive his power fist through the powdered man's skull, yet the raider pulled himself over another metal barrier and the Legionary's fist collided with the metal surface, punching through the rusted metal sheet and getting stuck.

With his opponent trapped, the War Boy pulled out his monkey wrench and went to bash his enemy's skull in, but the Legionary kicked him in the chest as he struggled to free himself, sending him backwards into a jagged piece of metal that cut his back open. Shrugging off the fresh waves of pain, the War Boy pushed himself back to his feet and brought his wrench down on the Legionary's shoulder, rewarded with the loud crack of a breaking bone.

"Die!" the War Boy screamed as he struck the Legionary in the side and did so again and for a third time until he was rewarded with the cracking of ribs and the Legionary's face mask turning crimson as he coughed up blood.

The Legionary's body was wracked by fresh waves of pain and all other sounds drowned out by the madman's cackle. He could feel himself getting weaker and was struggling to stay on his feet as the War Boy screamed profanities in his face and hit him again.

It wasn't the first time he had felt such pain. He remembered his time training under his harsh mentor in his youth. He ate pain for breakfast, as did all the other boys alongside him. He remembered it well and he could feel the fresh adrenaline coursing through his veins as the War Boy raised his monkey wrench ready to finish him off.

Not today, tribal.

With a mighty growl, the Legionary yanked his mangled arm free and kicked the War Boy in his family jewels. Reaching for the machete strapped to his side, he drew the blade and quickly brought it down on the War Boy's arm, tearing deep into the flesh and forcing him to drop his wrench. He then brought the blade down again and left his arm dangling before he did it again and finally severed it.

With a scream of rage, he drove his jagged blade into the man's stomach and cut deep into his intestines before yanking the blade out and bringing it down onto the madman in a flurry of wet, bloody strikes until a hacked up corpse laid at his feet.

Caesar's Legion: 2 – War Boys: 1

Feeling the pain coursing through his body, the Legionary dropped his machete and slowly turned around, only to find the barrel of a Ruger Vaquero pointed at his face.

With the squeeze of the trigger, the Legionary's life was extinguished.

Caesar's Legion: 1 – War Boys: 1

The War Boy turned around to find the last Legionary standing before him with his marksman carbine drawn. Both men pointed their guns at each other and pulled the triggers only to hear audible clicks. With a frustrated snarl, the War Boy tossed his empty revolver at the Legionary and charged him with his monkey wrench drawn, swinging at the man's head before he could do anything else.

The Legionary was forced to toss his carbine to the ground and draw his machete, dodging the swing at the last second. He shot his blade out and cut the War Boy diagonally across his back, yet the raider only growled and again attempted another swing the Legionary had to jump back to avoid. A rusted frame stuck out of the ground behind the Legionary and he pulled himself through it to avoid another swing of the monkey wrench, but even then the War Boy refused to back down and quickly pulled himself through trying to shoulder tackle the Legionary, who stumbled over a metal beam sticking out of the ground behind him.

The War Boy bought his own boot up into the Legionary's gut and finally took him off his feet, sending the machete clattering from his hands.

The mad Aussie chuckled darkly as he slowly stalked after his prey, foaming at the mouth anticipating his next kill. The Legionary remembered the Model 29 strapped to his side and quickly rolled out of the way to avoid having his skull split open and pulled the big gun out of his holster, taking aim and squeezing the trigger. His rounds tore through the man's bare, powdered torso and he fired until his gun clicked empty. Even as he fell to his knees dying, the War Boy still held the same deranged look in his eyes.

Caesar's Legion: 1 – War Boys: 0

With his last opponent defeated, the Legionary raised his fists into the air and shouted "TRUE TO CAESAR!"

"It was another close battle, but when all was said and done, Caesar's Legion ultimately prevailed. Even in spite of their lack of technology on the level of their main NCR adversaries, they still came with guns that possessed greater stopping power and in the case of the Model 29, a better function that made them able to drop their enemies faster.

"It was also largely thanks in part to the better overall health of their warriors, the discipline of their men, and the superior organization that enabled them to conquer 86 tribes and stalemate the NCR for years. They live in a society that revolves around warfare and were thus better trained as such, whereas the War Boys often focused more on mechanical endeavors and raiding, in addition to relying more so upon their fanatical devotion to Immortan Joe. The numerous health problems they face also didn't help matters much," Bradley concluded.

"Having actually fought the War Boys, I expected them to take this hands down. The Legion did surprise me, but they better not cross me," Max spoke, glaring sharply at an unseen enemy.

"Caesar's Legion is guided by the will of Mars himself. The War Boys were nothing more than just another band of savages who were outclassed from the start and they paid dearly in the end for their stupidity," Vulpes Inculta proudly concluded.
