The next day, Luna was going to have a charity concert. Luke sighed, knowing he had to go to it. Luna was busy rehearsing for it.

"Oh, yeah, Luna Loud is back!" Luna says as she hadn't done anything major in a while.

"Luke, honey, it's for charity. You love charity stuff, sweetheart." Charity says.

"Of course we do, it's your name." Luan giggled. Charity smiled at Luan.

"Look, if Luke feels uncomfortable, he should not be forced to go." Lucy says.

"What charity is this concert for, anyway?' Luke sighed.

"You know those little sick kids at the foster care facility in town?" Luna asked.

"The ones that SHANE entertains? Yes. I'm very aware." Luke says.

Lucy sees Lincoln hurt. She hissed.

"Hank and Hawk." Lucy says and rushes off to beat them up and avenge Lincoln.

"No one messes with my brother." Lucy says and becomes 8 of Spades as she soon finds them.

She chanted a spell, raining blood as they screamed. Lucy smiled and recorded them vomiting.

With Luna, she was setting up. Luke came along, but he couldn't help but think about all of Shane's entertainment moments and how he wasn't asked to do any entertainment.

"So are you excited about your engagement party?" Luna asked.

"Sure. I guess I'm…excited." Luke says. He wasn't in a smiling mood at the moment.

"What's wrong?" Luna asked.

"You can come with me. I was supposed to have a gig, but I think you should have it." Luan says, letting Luke entertain at Chloe's birthday party.

"One of your highest-paying gigs year after year…" Luke looks at Luan, shocked. "I…I…"

"There's always next year. I can manage. Now, go on." Luan says.

"So when is his engagement party?" Luna asked.

"Sunday." Luan says. "He already thinks we'll have plans that day…"

"Sigh, it hurts every time. He assumes the worst of me each time there's a day about him. He just thinks that way I thought we were close. I wish he could trust me." Lucy says.

"It isn't just you, Luce, trust me." Luna says. "We're all guilty of making plans on his days."

"Well, he's made plans on my days. Like he will on my birthday." Shane says.

"Cousin, the only plans he has for that week is to celebrate with you. He canceled everything else he had going on that week aside from school because he cares about you." Luna says.

Shane smiled, knowing Luke actually cared about him.

Meanwhile, Melony was rehearsing as she wasn't too used to floats and stumbled close to the edge and fell off.

She screamed in pain as her arm was under the float.

Kylie gasped and helped her, soon fixing her arm like new.

"Maybe adding you to the parade was a mistake." Kylie says.

"No, I'm not a quitter." Melony says.

"I'll be on the float with you." Kylie says.

"I'd like that." Melony says.

Meanwhile, Chloe and Clyde were dancing. Luke smiled on the outside.

Soon, her parents came on stage to introduce Luke. Luke smiled once more and appeared on stage. But he froze, not knowing what he was supposed to do.

Everyone looked at him.

Lucy and Lisa were spying as Lisa spoke to him telepathically.

"Just dance. Do any dance. Trust me." Lisa says in his head.

Luke did one of his best performances, which was his Just A Simple Sponge routine, as the crowd was in awe.

Meanwhile, Luna was performing as the kids loved it. Shane appeared as well.

"Shane?" Luna asked, confused.

"Shane!" the kids say.

"That's right! Now Shane will perform for you!" Luna says with a smile.

They smiled as Shane was the best. Shane smiled at them.

After that, Luna and Shane walk outside.

"So, Shane, are you going to propose soon?" Luna asked.

"H-How did you know?" Shane asked, blushing.

"I heard you went with Diana Prince to her Homecoming." Luna says. "You wouldn't stop talking about her after you came back from her house that night."

"She's really cute." Shane says. "We even have a song we listen to when we think of each other."

Luna smiled.

"You don't even know the song I'm talking about, do you?" Shane asked.

"No." Luna says.

Shane plays Save Me by Remy Zero. "This song." He says. "The band her school hired played it, and we both said this was our song."

Meanwhile…

"My costume got ruined, didn't it?" Melony asked

"Kinda." Kylie says. "But Cedric does costume repair as a hobby. So he can fix it."

Melony limped to him.

"Leave it to me. I'll make it look like new!" Cedric says as he fixes it.

With Luke, kids loved him. After his show, he sat and stared at the floor.

"Are you okay?" Lucy asked. Luke took the money from Chloe's parents before walking out.

Sunday morning, Luke wakes up and gets ready for church with Shane. He and Shane were in the church choir, so they had to be there early for Sunday School, then choir practice after that, then they had to sing with the choir in the main service.

Luke was just thinking of the party, but had to stay focused on church at the moment.

In the main service later that morning, he and Shane sang Days Of Elijah with the choir to start off the service. The boys were the star soloists, among others.

With Melony, she was still rehearsing, but Kylie was with her.

"You're doing great!" Kylie says.

After church, Luke came home with Shane, hissing. He walked up to his room and shut himself in his closet.

"Luke, what's wrong?" Lisa asked.

"He caught sight of the family calendar. It would seem Lucy has a poetry slam this afternoon." Shane says.

As soon as they left for the poetry slam that afternoon, Luke sat in his room alone.

"I hate them!" Luke screamed. "They're liars! All of them!"

At the poetry slam, Lucy was hit with a tomato as a bunch of food was hitting her. Because of her causing Luke to suffer, Lucy ran home.

"LIARS!" Luke screamed as he grabbed his pinata bat and hissed at the top of the stairs.

Lucy came to him

"I'm sorry, I really am, I'll do anything. I'll be your slave…" Lucy says as the siblings knew they were grounded.

"It just had to be today, didn't it?!" Luke hisses.

"I'm sorry! I tried telling the one in charge. He couldn't move the date. I thought you'd understand since you've had stuff on our days." Lucy says.

"Oh, I UNDERSTAND COMPLETELY!" Luke goes back to his room.

Lucy goes to get a noose to hang herself. Luke would never forgive them. But Charity had finally seen how busy the family calendar really is and it was time to have the "cutting extracurriculars" lecture with the kids again.

She started by showing the kids the calendar.

"As you can see here, everyone has something going on. Every. Single. Day. It's time for some of you to start picking and choosing which extracurriculars you can actually do." Charity says. "And I think I'm going to start with Lucy. What is an extracurricular activity you can cut back on?"

"My morticians club." Lucy says.

"Very good. Now, Luan, you're next." Charity says.

"My entertainment gigs." she sighed,

"I think you should cut back on the time you spend preparing for them." Charity says. "And maybe cut back on your college drama stuff for a while."

Luan nodded as Charity soon turned to Luna.

"I'll cut back on the gigs the Moon Goats have. And maybe take a break from touring until the summer, at least." Luna says.

"What about you?" Charity looked at Shiloh.

"Less gymnastics classes and I can take them twice a week instead of thrice a week." Shiloh says.

"That sounds fair." Charity says. "Now you, Lana."

"No more alligator wrestling and maybe hold off on the Mechanics' Club meetings for a bit." Lana says. "A lot of the members are dealing with stuff, so it's probably best to hold off on those meetings for a while, anyway."

Shane looks down, trying to figure out what extracurriculars he could cut back on.

He had photoshoots, commercials, cheerleading, entertainment gigs, concerts, and more.

"So, let's look at your schedule here…you have gigs up until Luke's birthweek…cheer season will end after the Classic…a commercial shoot the day before Thanksgiving…and your next concert tour won't be until at least May…" Charity says. "So, based on what I looked at, what can you cut back on, Shane?"

"Should Luke try to clear his schedule?" Lisa says.

"No." Charity says before turning back to Shane.

"After the Classic, me and Luke are cutting back on the cheer stuff until cheer camp in the summer, where we'll be volunteers instead of participants. My commercial shoots will be on hiatus until after the holidays, my gigs are going to slow down once the weekend before Luke's birthweek arrives, and my concert tours are on hold until the end of May. So, I'm willing to cut back on a lot of that once a lot of them are finished." Shane says. "I don't have many photo shoots scheduled, anyway."

"Sounds like a deal." Charity says.

Lucy walked out of the room to just set up the party for Luke.

Luke stares out the window in his room, dressed in the designer tuxedo Charity bought him for his engagement celebration. He felt like taking it off, mostly because he knew it wasn't happening.

Soon, the siblings finished getting everything ready for Luke and Zee's engagement party.

"You guys celebrate without me. I have nothing to live for. I don't wanna write poems again." Lucy sniffed.

"Now, hold on, Lucy. No one is telling you to quit writing poems. It was the poetry slam organizer's fault for not rescheduling." Charity says.

"All of Royal Woods hates me. Luke hates me." Lucy sobbed.

"Luke was mad about the poetry slam. He was never mad at you." Charity says. "As for the town being mad at you…Gabriel made sure those responsible faced a hefty fine and a few weeks in jail."

Luke walks into the closet and begins to undress.

There was a knock on the door.

"What?" Luke sniffed.

"We have a surprise for you." Luna says. "And someone is down there waiting to see you!"

Luke redresses himself and follows Luna. They arrive to see Zee waiting for Luke.

"Zee! My beautiful flower!" Luke gasped and embraced her.

"Doesn't our engagement party look amazing?" Zee asked Luke.

"It does look amazing, but you look even more amazing." Luke smiled and kissed Zee.

Shane and Luke's friends were there as they were happy for Luke and Zee. The band played some music as some people danced. Luke and Zee were just socializing with the guests.

Zee sighed as her friends were busy. She had a feeling they probably wouldn't want to come, anyway. She knew they didn't like Luke much, anyway.

Soon, Lucy gives them gifts. But Zee didn't want to do that right now as Luke looked down as well.

Lucy sighed as she sniffed.

"Give them a little bit. They just want their space." Charity told her.

Kat and Ana were dancing around. Lucy writes poems.

Shane came out to check on Luke and Zee.

"Hey, are you two all right?" He asked. "For a couple that's being celebrated today, you two sure aren't doing much celebrating."

Luke tears up.

"You two can talk to me, you know. I do know how to listen." Shane says.

They explained.

"Just because they're busy doesn't mean they hate you. I mean they're heroes first, but they're still your friends. I'm sure they remembered somehow. Just give them time." Shane says.

"Her friends don't like me!" Luke cried.

"They do." Zee says.

"If they liked me, they wouldn't badmouth me! They wouldn't say how unimportant I am! Being the son of a governor is important!" Luke sniffed as he was shedding tears.

"What did they say?" Zee asked. He then told her the things they've said about him.

"They also think I'm not heroic enough or good enough!" Luke cried.

"That's Kara and her ego." Zee says.

Luke sniffed. "Am I not good enough for them?!" He says, now feeling insecure.

"You are." Zee reassures Luke.

Luke just began to stress eat minutes later.

Zee took notice.

"Not good enough…never good enough…" Luke sniffed.

"You are." Zee says.

"According to them, I will never be good enough! You're the only one who really understands!" Luke sobbed.

Zee felt bad and was furious with her friends. She remembered Diana had also been nice to Luke on a few occasions.

"Let's open some gifts." Zee says. "That'll cheer you up, Lukey…"

Luke nods and sits with Zee as they open a few gifts.

Zee got Luke a plush of her. Luke holds it and kisses the real Zee.

Luke gives Zee a new purple dress.

Zee smiled. "Luke, I love it." she says.

"I'm so glad you do." Luke says.

After a bit, it was time to cut the engagement cake. Luke smiled as he and Zee saw the cake Charity's personal baker made.

"Wow!" they say in awe.

"Hey, does Spider-Man exist?" Luke asked Garrett curiously as he grabbed the cake knife with Zee.

Garrett thinks. "Yeah." He says.

Soon everyone began to sing Luke and Zee's love song before the two of them cut the cake.

They smile and feed each other some cake.

Soon, the others were eating cake as well.

After a while, the guests had dispersed and it was just the family, Luke, and Zee.

"I may move in, I don't know." Zee sighed.

"It's okay." Luke says. "I'll respect whatever decision you make, love."

Zee smiled.
