At defenders sanctum.

Everyone was training.Dani and Wolf were roughhousing in the corner while Chris and hunter sparred. As well as Kim,Apollo,ryou and Maria was sparring. Alex watched from the sidelines with luz and willow.Marcy(kamen rider ranger form)was practicing her archery against a set up of moving, holographic targets.

"Maria," greeted garnet, "So glad you could join us."

"What?" Maria shrugged as she walked forwards, dodging through Chris and hunter's spar with expert ease, "No offense alex, but I put the well-being of my own training."

"Ah, yes," nodded garnet, "sasuke told me you'd taken on some pets."

"They're not pets," snapped maria as Chris threw Sasha to the ground, "They're…family. Besides, I'm constantly training."

Alex raised an eyebrow underneath her shades at her and folded her arms. "Oh?"

Then the Zeta Tubes activated and queen moon stepped through. She spent a moment fiddling with the controls on the tube and a second figure walked out with a flash of light.

"Star,Marco," she introduced, "This is the team." Star stepped through. "Team, my daughter star butterfly."and her boyfriend Marco Diaz

Star met all their eyes in turn and nodded her greeting to them.

"Welcome to the defenders sanctum ,"Dani said.

"So, were joining the team?" She asked eagerly.

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," said moon quickly, "This is strictly a visit. Although I am sorry we missed that bout with the Cabale. Star and Marco could benefit from the experience." SHe turned to Alex and they began to speak in hushed tones.

Regardless, it's clear some of the dimensional patrol still doesn't trust us and blames us for letting Android 16 get away."

"I miss him," sighed anne, "He trusted and respected us."

"But clearly we shouldn't have trusted him," muttered hunter angrily, "If I find that android, I'm shoving him in a trash compactor!"

"Maybe all that's needed is a few more missions like the last one," reasoned dani, "All it took was one victory over the masters of evil and queen moon brings in her daughter and her daughters boyfriend for a tryout session. If we keep doing well, maybe we can regain their trust."

"But we shouldn't have to regain it!" Wally pointed out, "What happened with 16 wasn't our fault! Heck! Half of us were captives for most of it!"

Anne sighed. "That's kind of the point, moron."

"The bottom line is that android 16 nearly killed us and was a traitor to both the team and the dimensional patrol ," kim said Hunter firmly, "The question now is; what do we do about it?"

"Excuse me," said star, stepping forwards, "Are you guys having a psychic conversation? 'Cause I can't decide if that's really cool or really rude." Apollo blinked sheepishly. The team had been so used to discussing things through chris or marcy's telepathic links, that they had been as animated and active as they would be in a spoken conversation. Now, star and the adults were staring at them accusingly.

"Fine!" admitted Hunter angrily, "We were talking about android 16! It's been weeks since the attack and the League hasn't told us anything!"

"The dimensional patrol is searching for the androids," sighed alex, "As well as the other androids that invaded the cave and their creator, dr.gero."

"Wait,"said marcy, rubbing the bridge of her nose, "You know who was behind this attack?"

"Of course," said moon, "The robots you described fit the description of dr.gero's usual design style. perfectly except dr.gero himself."

"And this has given you no leads?" Apollo looked between them, exasperated, "Literally, you can do nothing with this information?"

"Batman has been following all possible leads," said Alex, folding her arms, "He's recruited other detectives to help him out. But don't worry, we'll find them all."

"Android is dimensional patrol," queen moon put forth, "So we have made finding herour highest priority."

"The team is not to pursue this," alex finished firmly, "Understood?"

Marcy was about to protest, but ryou slapped a hand over her mouth. "Understood," she said through grit teeth, "C'mon guys, let's give star a little tour, shall we?"

Sparing angry glances at the adults, the team walked out of the main hall and into the kitchen, star trailing behind. "We're not really taking a tour, are we?"

Marcy turned to her. In the thirty seconds since they had left the main hall.

Star and Marco both blinked. "Wait. SHe's the leader of this team?"

Ryou raised an eyebrow. "Kim is an experienced warrior and leader. SHe was the natural choice to command us and hasn't let us down yet."

"Sure about that?" Star glanced Kim up and down.

"We're hunting down Android 16," kim continued.

"Wow, out loud and everything," marco grumbled.

I'll stay her I'm starting to get along like the wolf and spehear marco said.

Okay Luz elected to ignore him. "Mutli-Shadow Clone Jutsu." 14 clones puffed into existence. 13 of them peered at the team and transformed into each member with a burst of smoke. "This'll keep the adults off our backs."

"Okay," Sasha commented as she stared at her doppelganger, "This is so surreal. But what about new girl?"

The team went to the bioship

Hunter shook his head. "No good. Canary will get suspicious if they see the hangar empty but the team still here. We need another way out."

"Everyone take hands," Hunter ordered. The team obeyed with confused looks but no questions, they assumed their leader knew what he was doing. Star took anne's hand. "Just a heads up," Hunter said, "This is gonna take a lot out of me." He breathed in deep and closed his eye. Shikoko's chakra burst like a dam into his chakra network and he began funneling it into the jutsu.

"Hunter?" asked dani nervously as Hunter opened his eye his shiringan actived.then there was a flash of golden-light and the team suddenly found themselves in an old red ribbon base.

"What was that?" asked kim.

Hunters teleportation justu it drains him a little dani said as she helped him to his feet.

Dani glanced up at him, but settled deeper into his arm nonetheless. "As comfortable as this is, you've been week for a few minutes and you did say we were going to find Android 16."

I have to use this justu cause pride took my sling rings Hunter said.

Maria "Android 16 is more than a machine," said luz.

It snaked towards the east coast of the United States and worked its way across the country, coming to a stop in the south west. Marcy stared at the image and memorized it before it faded. The lightning ended and the map and pentacle vanished."The American South West. We can take it from there. Luz started to leave and the team walked away.

"I'm guessing we want to find Android 16 as soon as possible, right?" Hunter raised an eyebrow. "If you give me some more energy, I'll teleport you and your gang to where the map was pointing."

Dani whisper in his ear, "We need to get to Tornado!"

"We don't have a choice!" whispered maria.

Hunter sighed and rubbed his temples. "Fine. How much energy this time?"

I can teleport you everyone everyone hold on to me apollo said as a white flash the team was teleported back to the bioship,wow I forgot you can luz said.

"Is Everyone okay ryou asked?"

"We're fine," grunted ultra ninja, "Now where's that robot creep? I'm gonna shove him in a trash compactor!"

"Easy," said luz, standing next to him, "We are still not certain if Android 16 betrayed us."

"What are you talking about?" raged ultra ninja, "He nearly killed us! I just got into this world a few months ago, and he was willing to snuff me out!"

"Android 16 has human emotions,"sighed apollo as he helped Hunter to his feet, "But he's still a slave to his programming. He deserves the benefit of the doubt. After all, the others gave you the same at Cadmus."

Ultra ninja snarled and looked away angrily. Marcy turned to Kim.What now she asked?

Kim breathed deeply. Kurama?

"Just a little to the south,towards the mountain."the bioship landed at their destination.

Kim turned her head to the side and followed Kurama's directions, heading south.Switch to camo mode.

Agreed ryou said as he transformers into his mysticon taction His hair had turned white with black tips, the upper half of his face was scaley like his demon form with a red mask and gold lines running down him, his gold demon crown appeared on his head, his hands were all scaley but the rest of his body was human, a black cloak appeared around him as a black and red leather outfit with gold highlights, the Mysticon symbol on his chest.

They walked out of the bioship and began to search,suddenly sasha heard something and stopped the group"Everyone! Look out!" shouted anne. Before they could react, they were slammed in the back by something hard and metal. They flew across the clearing with a grunt and slammed into a trees. The wind picked up abruptly and they pushed themselves off the tree and Apollo drew a kunai as he stared into the cold, metallic eyes of android 16, drifting along in his namesake towards them.

"Why, 16?" shouted luz as he snaked back and forth across the ground, "Why are you doing this?"

"Everyone look at the ground!" she called mentally. Apollo and willow glanced to where 16 was hovering and there eyes widened.

"Message received," Marcy said as she transformed into kamen rider ranger and flipped backwards. Android 16 raised his hands and a dozen red twisters spun out in a circle around the team, trapping them in high-velocity winds.

"Who cares why!" called ultra ninja, "Nail him!" He grabbed anne and flung her at the android. 16 intercepted anne and threw her at ultra ninja, tossing them both into the wall of tornados. They were unceremoniously slammed to the ground and rolled over.Sasha fired bone spikes from her arms,Apollo and willow fired Kai blast,gus(who made Shuriken's)throws them,Steven tossed his shield and kamen rider rangers shot an arrow at him and Sasha. All the projectiles were thrown off course in the wind, but mysticon tacticon behind 16 and Took out his willblade. Before he could deliver the blow, android 16 grabbed sasha's bone spikes from midair and blocked ryou. He grabbed the mysticon by the arm and tossed him wordlessly to the ground.

Luz use her super speed ran in circles, forming her own tornado, and Chris used this as cover to try and get behind Android 16. 16 simply grabbed him by the throat and slammed his body into luz, sending them both back with the force of his speed. Maria tossed twin explosive shuriken and 16 spun them in the air, sending them back at Maria and marcy in two explosions. Star tried to speak, but the oxygen was pulled from her lungs and she fell to the ground, clutching her throat if surprise.

For a few moments, they all lay on the ground in the middle of android 16's trap. Suddenly, the ground beneath them shook and a lone figure erupted from the earth in their midst. "Quite a performance, brother," said the figure in a metallic monotone, "But we both know that's all it was." A few meters away, android 16's message of 'Play Dead' was wiped away as the figure rose on a pillar of earth. "I have your memories, 16," said the figure, "As well as a next-gen processor. I know your next move before you do. I even know that luz has three Shadow Clones in the woods, waiting to use her wind attack on me."

Mysticon tacticon grit his teeth and stood up, the rest of the team following suit. He dove forwards and tossed his willblade up at the figure. It was Android 13 when an emblem of a volcano adorned its chest and red ribbon hat. the android as it raised its hand,then A boulder emerged from behind him and slammed into mysticon tacticon.He fell back,but the boulder was destroyed by a sonic blast from Maria.He glanced to the side and saw Tornado retreating towards the mountain.another was about to hit luz but she was caught by Chris.

"Is he abandoning us?" asked ultra ninja.

"I don't believe that!" Chris protested.

"Chris ! Drop me!" Luz shouted.

"But we're a hundred feet in the air!"

"Do it!" Chris dropped her and luz glanced up at the sky in anger. Of all the nights for there to be a new moon,luz formed two Shadow Clones and grabbed both of them by the arm.

"Go!" She threw them forwards and they twisted violently around each other.

"Fang Over Fang!" they called as they spiraled towards the android. The other members of the team were bombarding it with their attacks, but moved out of the way just in time for luz's clones to take it by surprise.

To be fair, it almost worked. The android summoned a spiked of earth that rose up and stabbed into the clones, bursting them out of existence. "You don't stand a chance, humans," it snarled. Luz tossed a kunai to the ground and Hiraishined to it so he didn't splatter against the earth.

Maria and Apollo shouting were not.

"My apologies," said the robot, "I suppose the all-encompassing term would be," it raised its hands and a pair of boulders smashed Maria and Apollo together, making them fall to the ground, "Meatbags." It turned its head to the side and several fissures shot out from under his pillar. The team dodged between them as they tried to get closer.

Anne! Maneuver two!" Sasha called. Anne nodded and ran over to luz. She grabbed her by the arm and swung violently in a circle, throwing luz at high speeds towards the android.

"I have 16's memory," sighed the android as he caught luz and slammed her into the ground, "And a faster processor. I know all your moves."

"Then let me show you some he didn't know," grunted Hunter. He flipped up and round housed the android. As he'd predicted, the robot caught his foot in a vise grip, but it gave Hunter just enough time to move his mask and activities his sharingan.

The android nearly laughed. "I have no concept of pain for your illusion to exploit, I could kill your entire team."

Hunter smirked as he pumped chakra into his eye. There was a twinge of pain and he felt a pool of blood forming under his eye. He hadn't fully conquered this technique as it usually required two Mangekyo Sharingan to use, but the power of the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan afforded him a weaker version. "Susano'o!"

Hunter's body was surrounded by a flaming golden skeleton avatar. Its sudden appearance tossed the android back and hunter used the skeleton's fist to smash the android into the ground.The android pushed the fist off of him and threw a barrage of rocks at Hunter.The skeleton's rib cage wrapped in front of him and the rocks shattered against the defense.

"Interesting," said the android, "Certainly a powerful move, but from how heavily your eye is bleeding, I'm guessing that this technique is short lived." Hunter touched his cheek and drew back his fingers to see them covered in red.

He grimaced. "Well, I better make this quick then," he muttered as he pushed more chakra into the Sharingan. Flaming sinew and skin grew over the bones of the Susano'o as it grew into a four-armed samurai wielding a wrist crossbow and massive, flaming arrows. Hunter quickly loaded the arrow and shot it at the android.

The android dodged to the left, right into a waiting Ultra ninja. The clone grabbed the android by the waist and threw him into the air. Hunter collapsed and his Susano'o vanished as dani caught him in the air, steadying him so marcy(in kamen rider ranger form)could have a clear shot.

Lasers shot from the android's eyes and pieced the arrow in two. Hunter turned his head and dani dropped him.His blast caught her on the shoulder and she spiraled to the ground with a cry. When the android touched down, he raised his hands and the mountain behind him exploded, an erupting of magma shooting into the sky.

"Fall back!" shouted hunter as the lava began to trickle down the mountain. Ultra ninja leapt to him and helped him to his feet.

"You okay?"steven asked.

Yea Hunter wiped the blood from his eyes. "I'm fine." Ultra ninja grabbed him by the collar and jumped up to higher ground as a lava flow overcame where they had been standing.

"He's activated a stage two eruption," said Wally in their minds, "If it get's to stage three, bye-bye earth."

"Hit him with everything!" called sasha. Apollo,Dani,Willow,luz,kim,gus,Anne,marcy and Chris ran at him, but he twirled them away and a blast of magma shot up besides Chris. As she reeled back from the heat, Anne dove forwards to catch him and marcy covered her retreat. Steven tossed his shield and kim throw a kunia,but the android caught them. When the kunia exploded in his face, he didn't even seem fazed.

"Star was running towards the android. Strawberry ribbon lasso She said a spell and red ribbons wrapped around its arms, trapping them to its chest.

A burst of water slammed into the android, shoving it back into the magma. "Nice hit!" crowed gus.

"The hit was not mine!" Apollo replied. From behind him, the androids that had attacked them in the sanctum emerged and ran passed them. Android 21 barraged the android with fireball after fireball while android 14, cooling the lava at its feet. Android 16 flew above them all, spinning remorseless wind into the android, distracting it enough the let his siblings do their work.

"Brothers! Sister! Stop!" shouted the android 13. The three androids grabbed their villainous counterpart and dragged him into the lava, melting as they did. Android 16 stood above them, slowly sinking into the fires.

Sasha ran forwards, but Maria stopped her. "They're too far in!" he said, "You'll either over shoot it or fall in yourself!"

Apollo turned and saw Chris on the ground. The heat of the earth's core being forced to the surface had left him unconscious. Ryou looked over at star. "Can you lift him out?"

"He's too far and too heavy but I have a spell that can help!" she cried anxiously,

Levantando," Star called and immediately Android 16 rose from the magma. His legs had already been melted away, but the rest of him looked relatively intact.

Sasha caught him as she flew towards them and lay him on the ground. The earth shook and the volcano spouted once more. Anne shot over to android and bent down. "Listen!" She cried over the blast of the volcano, "We're on the brink of a stage three eruption! We need to vent the pressure, but the resulting ash cloud will smother the earth! You need to divert it!" Android 16 nodded in understanding and pushed himself up with his tornados.

Chris pulled up his wrist gauntlet computer. "I'm triangulating around the pressure focus!" He said, "There, there, and there!"

Marcy watched where he pointed and shot an arrow into each place. They exploded and a massive cloud of black ash vented out of the craters. For a moment, mysticon tacticon feared Android 16 would not be enough. In just a few seconds, the cloud had covered the sky as far as he could see.

But me,ryou and marcy can help maria said turn into her dragon form creating a tornado,marcy and mysticon tacticon used there wind abilities to do the same.

But then they saw the cloud begin to swirl into a vacuum. It spiraled upwards as quickly as it had spread out, sucked into Android 16,misticon tacticon,marcy and marcy's vortex, through the atmosphere, and leaking out into space.

Later

Android 16 led the heroes voicelessly back to the laboratory hidden underground.There, marcy strapped him to an operating table and carefully dismantled him, fixing what had been damaged in the fight and returning, among other things, the android's voice box. "That should just about do it," he said eventually.

"Yes," said the android in his usual monotone, "I can speak again."

Luz smiled down on the robot. "You were willing to sacrifice yourself for the earth," she said softly.

"Earth would have survived," said android , "It is humanity that was saved and all life. Though not by me," he turned his head with a whirl of mechanics, "It is my sister and brother who were the heroes today."

"My point is this," said sasha, "You were never the traitor."

"No," confirmed 16, "I left to prevent further attacks and to find my creator."

Wally shot up besides the table holding two red, metal legs. "Yo 16! Check it out! We can rebuild you! Make you better, stronger."

Chris was at the computer consoles and turned away with a sigh. "I activated a dimensional patrol distress signal," he said, "They'll be here soon to check things out."

"There goes our cover," sighed marcy.

Ultra ninja was in the corner of the room, brooding. But he finally stepped into the light. "Why did you volunteer to be our den mother in the first place?" he demanded, glaring at Android 16.

"I was the logical choice," explained the robot, "I do not require sleep. I have no secret identity or second life to live."

"But you do have advanced A.I. programming," said Apollo thoughtfully, "Designed to learn, adapt, and evolve with your surroundings."

"Of course!" nodded dani, "You wanted to be more human! And you couldn't do that with the dimensional patrol, their stiffs!"

"I do not know if these statements are accurate," said 16 slowly, "But perhaps they are true. If I am using the term correctly, I believe I have come to…care…for you all."

A smile crept across ultra ninja's face. "See," he said softly, "Practically a meatbag already."

Yeah how kawaki,"Maria said.

kawaki I like the sound of that ultra ninja said. Liking his new name.

Marco was playing with wolf and zeta tube activated then Naruto and his son boruto appeared.
