"I just asked some upperclassmen hypothetically questions to "test" their knowledge." Lincoln said, smirking a bit. "A LOT of prideful upperclassmen just love to be right. But, it's our only option right now, so let's start looking."

Lucy nodded to her as they began looking through the shelves for the books Lincoln suggested. Oracle book or books on tracking, and maybe a few books on potion making just to be safe. It took them ten minutes before Lincoln spoke up.

"Okay... I have no idea what I'm doing." Lincoln said.

"Me either." Lucy said, "I'm not in these tracks living thing, so these are basically gibberish to me."

"Well, I speak fluent gibberish and I can say they aren't in that language." Lucy said, "Okay, trying to figure out Beast keeping, Potions, and oracle.

"I don't know who will be able to help. The only beast keeping expert we know is viney, but she's out on vacation with her parents but we get Emily, Lincoln said.

"Follow me. There should be a spot close by." Maria said, leading the young witches hybrids,her Martian brother and the female android towards a huge cave close by, "And remember, the animals will leave you alone, if you leave them alone."

"Got it." Luz said but she still wanted to see a herself, just to see how beastly it was. "So, does anything else live up here besides Slitherbeasts?"

"Just small bats. My ex told me this whole mountain is practically barroth territory but I don't believe that." Skara said.

"Be careful everyone mom told,this is where hunters go to die." Maria said, "The amount of barroth in this cave is more than the rest of the pelvis."

"Really? Exactly how many are there?" Luz asked her.

"About 50 but full grown barroth have the strength of 10 witches." Maria said to them, "They all gather here, and no one knows why. Some say breeding, but they do breed in other parts of the pelvis , so I don't know."

"Like that one over there." Penny said, pointing towards a barroth chewing in mud around stone Ledge.

"HOLY SHIT!" Chris shouted at the sight of it, grabbing Lincoln. "THAT'S A BARROTH!?"

"Hey! You cursed! mom would be so proud!" Maria said, rubbing Chris head. "But relax, like I said, just leave it alone and it will leave you alone."

"Now, come on, we need to go through a barroth den in order to get the silver flower." Lucy said.

They carefully walked passed the barroth and into a den, while envy is watching them.

"The owl lady family is here? That's something you don't see everyday." Envy said, confused and intrigued. "What are you up to?"

In the BARROTH den of a cave, the five young heroes got very nervous, as there were at least a dozen barroth sleeping. All of them babies in Mud, snoozing without scare in the world with the boney remains of their past meals around them!

'Why did the temple have to be in here?!' Lincoln and Lucy thought as they were using Lucys shadows to crawl on the ceiling to get to the center of the cave.

"We're near the center of the cave it's underneath the cave." Maria said quietly, "There's a gap that we should be able to get in and the barroth can't."

"And how do we go underground to get to the temple without waking them cause Chris is the only one who can phase underground?" Lincoln whispered.

I can open a shadow portal to get us underground but I need to see if there's a large space Lucy said.

I can phase underground and see so can open a shadow portal Chris said.

"Okay." Lucy said, raising her hands and making a large shadow portal showing Chris and the entrance to the temple.

The group jump in Lucy jumps in last closing the portal.

The temple was completely BARROTH and beast free but a little dark. Maria solved that problem by her staff make a huge light orb to give the room plenty of light.

"Okay, follow me." Maria said.

The everyone agreed as they continued through cave. After a good five minutes, they arrived at a silver flower.

"Here we are." Maria said.

"So these little things will help with the potion?" Penny asked.

"Very much." Lincoln said with a nod. "Just 3 or 4 peddles would be more than enough. we can get what we need so that I can make the potion."

Maria moved and grabbed the mushroom, nearly all of them and held them in her hands.

"Okay, we got what we need." Chris said.

"Great, now let's get out of here." Lucy said.

The cave shook, causing them all to look concerned.

"What was that?" Penny asked.

"Nothing good." Lucy said, summons her staff to her hands and summoning her shadows. "Stay close,everyone ."

Chris went first and Chris phased through the door and was preparing to left the door, only to get trampled by BARROTH.

Maria quickly turned the stone door into styrofoam and Lincoln turned his hands into maces easily breaking it.

"Chris!" Penny said.as she sees Chris hurt and takes out blades from her back they spin in a circles firing a big green energy cannon at the barroth that attacked Chris.

Maria conjured a large amber spike ball and hit one of the barroth slamming it to the side of the wall no hurts my brother maria said with fury.

Lucy used her shadow powers and abomination magic to send the two remaining into the mud and send the abomination goo into the mud and Lincoln shot cement out of his hands in the mud making it harden quickly trapping the barroths in stone concrete.

Penny quickly hovered over to Chris and hugged" him tightly, surprising the martian as he looked at penny blushing.

"Well we got the silver flower, Lincoln said.

The then see envy and two Mecha bio viper.

We don't have time thanks ryou maria takes out two Amulets "Rip them apart Wolf Knight!" And Come on out, Caliban! She shouts summoning her titans

Charging forward Caliban slashed the Mecha bio vipers to pieces while Wolf Knight smashed them into the ground destroying them.

Maria throw large smoke bombs

Lincoln morphed into a ball around them rolling everyone away so they escaped envy.

Lincoln morphed back to normal since they got far away from envy.

You know I could have just opened a portal to us to the bio ship Lucy said.

Oh yea Lincoln said.

they all ran out to the cave exit.

They began to head out of the cave.

They got in bio-ship and flew back to the owl house.

I left a surprise for envy"Maria laughing sinisterly.

Back in the cave

The smoke cleared and envy saw that the areas of the cave was surrounded by paper bombs and the paper bombs being ignited.

Man I really hate that clawthorn family envy said.

Then the cave began to explode.

Aaaaaahhhhhh envy screamed in pain.

Back on the bio-ship

Nice sis mom and the wreakers would be proud Chris said to his sister.

They made it back to the owl house and the others had came back with terrigen crystal and a canister of blood of the blood of Shagaru Magala.
