When a training mission with new recruits is ambushed by wraith, three new Marines must fight to survive with the help of a mystery soldier. Or Lt. Colonel John Sheppard as seen through the eyes of some new recruits (because we never got enough of seeing the military side of Sheppard, in my humble opinion). Some healthy Shep Whump and BAMF Sheppard w/ some of the team.

Follows an off-world mission that requires a couple of daring rescues and leaves the whole team, especially Sheppard, injured. Involves Sheppard whump (but they all get a little ouchies), Ronon being badass, Teyla being the voice of calm and big time Rodney angst as he questions his place on the team. Mostly a team bonding story with a healthy dose of Sheppard whump.

A dual-component retrovirus is written by Lantean scientist Ritha Guider for the redemption of the wraith and harmony for the Pegasus Galaxy. But there is one more barrier to overcome before both races can fully live in peace; even Ritha Guider's love for Todd the wraith takes Atlantis itself into heroic events never before encountered.
