Chapter 105: Way Down to Mel's Town

Back in the Boiling Isles, Calypso had taken Nina and Skara home, where two girls brought her up to speed about Luz and the others.

"So Edric Blight and Eda's son, King, were taken away to the Underworld by that goddess and the only way to get there is to have to go through Hell?" Calypso asked them.

"Yeah, that's the gist of it," Nina replied.

Calypso sighed. "Of course Eda has an ex from Hell…"

"Amity's with them to save her brother," Skara explained. "With them are Willow, Gus, Boscha, Hunter…"

"Hunter?" Calypso asked.

"Blonde guy with a gap tooth, has some scars," Nina clarified. "And there's two others. I think one of them is some guy named Cross, oh and Lindsay's with them."

"Lindsay?" Calypso asked.

"Friends with Donna, is in Beast-Keeping as well," Nina replied. "Cyclops demon girl who has this shy, farmer's daughter vibe… also with some small wings on her back."

This caused Calypso's eyes to widen. "Is her last name Shystream, by any chance?"

"Um… yeah," Nina responded, causing Calypso to look concerned "Why?"

"Dear Titan…" Calypso was shaken, shaken with fear which surprised the two girls. "Of all witches… she had to join them..."

"Um… what?" Nina asked in confusion.

"What's about Lindsay that got you worried, mom?" Skara asked her.

"Yeah, why does someone who looks like she wouldn't hurt a mouse have you worried?" Nina asked.

"That name brings back some memories…" Calypso said with a sigh. "Skara was little back then so she doesn't remember, but I do. Lindsay Shystream used to go to the same place I used to take Skara… it was for… behavior issues."

Skara and Nina looked at each other in confusion and concern, while Calypso adds. "I just hope your friends are alright, because right now we can't do anything for them…"

Still on Charon's cruise ship, our heroes get ready to face Mel and save their friends.

In one room, Boscha began to prepare herself to face off against these powerful enemies, having learned from her experiences with the Coachman and Glandus. She made some potions that she stuffed into her bag while she sported a makeshift crossbow.

In another room, Willow wrapped up some tape around her fists while looking over to Gus. She watches him practice his illusions, creating images of ghouls and monsters of all kinds. The two turned to each other and gave each other nods. When he created one monster, Lindsay walked in and was spooked, falling back and causing the two to wince.

On the deck, Hunter swung around his staff and dashed back and forth until he heard a whistle from a lifeguard spirit who pointed at the sign: 'No Running'. Hunter sheepishly nodded before dashing away from the pool area.

In another room, Eda was placing daggers onto her person. She looked over in her mirror, deciding to keep the outfit she used as her disguise through Hell. "Boy do I look dynamite," Eda commented while posing in front of the mirror.

Lilith, however, changed into something more formal. She wore a black small jacket with a white shirt and cargo pants that she found in the ship. "Well, at least I won't have to look all… scandalous about it."

"Yeah, you weren't the type to go for something thrilling," Eda replied. "Can I have it though?"

Meanwhile, Luz was on the deck as she rolled up some tape around her fists. "Hey Ams, you ready for-?" She stopped when she noticed Amity looking out at the River Styx. Sensing something was up, Luz walked over to her girlfriend. "Hey, are you okay right now? Do you need to talk?"

"I'm just… still a little shaken up on a lot of things," Amity admitted. "Not from our trip to Hell, but I still can't get over how Mel completely broke my family, Luz. She and Trini caused the affair between Odalia and Lilith, then exposed them! Even if we manage to stop Mel… my parents are still divorced. The damage is already done." She gripped her fists while looking down. "And I'm still not even ready to talk to Lilith yet…"

Luz held her arm around Amity in comfort. "Hey, right now we just need to focus on stopping Mel. We'll worry about what comes afterwards."

Amity turned to Luz. "You're right. Right now our brothers need us," she said.

"Yeah, we'll save them and kick Mel's ass to boot!" Luz declared while noticing Cross just looking around the deck. "Hey, it's that guy."

Amity noticed Cross as well. "Yeah, Boscha mentions that he's in the Emperor's Coven, though not willingly."

"Even so, I don't know if we could trust him," Luz replied. "I mean, we hardly know him and he wants to save Emily of all people. We don't really know what this guy's deal is yet," she said while looking unsure. "For all we know, he could be a coven spy like…"

"Like Hunter?" Amity asked, causing Luz to fall silent. "Willow and Gus are talking to him again, and Boscha gets along with him. So where do we stand with him?"

Luz looked unsure. "I don't know," she admitted as she sighed. "I guess we're a little on edge right now, especially with the new guy."

"Lindsay seems to trust Cross enough, so for now we might as well give him the benefit of doubt," Amity suggested. "Instead of making assumptions."

"Yeah," Luz said as she nodded. "Give him a chance to show if he's a friend or a foe."

Cross, unaware that Amity and Luz were talking about him, went to the side of the ship and looked down at the River Styx, watching the souls pass by. As he stared, Lindsay walked up to join him.

"Hey, how are you feeling, Cross?" Lindsay asked him.

"A little… intimidated," Cross admitted. "Hell was already scary, but who knows what we'll face in the Underworld. This is just way out of my comfort zone."

"Yeah, me too," Lindsay replied as she then noticed Luz and Amity walking up to them.

"Hey, you two," Amity said, waving to them. "Look, since now that we're back together, we thought we could use this time to get to know each other more."

"Yeah, especially this shady looking guy," Luz said, pointing to Cross.

Cross was taken aback by this. "Am… I that suspicious?"

"Kinda, depends on your intentions for going down there to save Emily," Luz replied with a scoff.

"Look, I am aware of what Emily has done," Cross told her. "She has hurt a lot of people and that goes against what I believe in. So yeah, she deserves to be punished for her crimes, just not eternity in the Underworld."

"Yeah, well look how her getting arrested turned out. I mean, I'm sure the Emperor's Coven would want her back, maybe even give her another promotion after this," Luz said sarcastically. "I still think we're better off without her, so why bother saving her?"

"Because she's hurting," Lindsay pointed out. "I've… talked to Emily before… well, she kinda showed up at my house while as the Golden Guard, she wished to speak to me, so… I had her escort me to run a few errands and then we talked."

"You went with Emily?!" Amity asked, looking alarmed.

"I know what she's like, but she didn't do anything to me. We just talked," Lindsay reassured them. "I think she needed someone she felt comfortable talking to, someone who could listen to her and understand where she was coming from. She may not be a good person, but she is still a person and she needs to be helped." She looked at Luz. "You know, sometimes all people really need is some kindness and forgiveness."

Luz gave Lindsay a blank look before scoffing. "What fortune cookie told you that? Because it doesn't always work like that."

"That doesn't mean you should always still try," Lindsay pointed out.

"Yeah, sure, maybe you could try 'kindness and forgiveness' on Mel," Luz sarcastically suggested.

Meanwhile, Hunter met up with Boscha in a hallway. "Hey, you ready to kick ass?" she asked him.

"Yeah, never been to the Underworld before, but it can't not be any worse than Hell, right?" Hunter asked, though his tone sounded nervous. "Titan, I never thought I'd ended up going down there to save my ex from a goddess…"

"Your ex?" Boscha asked before eyes widened. "Wait… Edric's your ex?!"

"Yeah, we used to date," Hunter replied awkwardly. "It… didn't end well for us… since he broke up with me after he learned I was the Golden Guard."

"Oh," Boscha responded. "I'm sorry about that. It… must have been really hard for you."

"And it is going to be awkward to face Ed again," Hunter mentioned. "Because last we saw each other, Em held a sword against my face," he said while rubbing his neck.

Boscha decided to change the subject. "So… how do you feel about… Luz right now? Especially since, well…"

"She ripped my arm off?" Hunter asked her while feeling his mechanical arm.

Boscha nodded. "Luz is my friend and all, but that is still really messed up, right?"

"Honestly, I don't blame her for it. It wasn't her fault, and I was… reckless," Hunter said.

Boscha frowned at this. "Have you even talked to her about it since then?" she asks him.

Hunter looked away. "Not really… we've been avoiding each other for the most part."

"You two were friends along with Willow and Gus… what happened between you guys? Other than you not telling them who you really were? Does… this have something to do with the other voice in Luz's head? Maya?"

Hunter turned to Flapjack, who chirped in encouragement. "It was before I had Flapjack," he started. "Back then, I was… determined to help my uncle. The reason why most scouts don't have Palismen is because he devours their essence…"

"What?!" Boscha exclaimed in shock, immediately hugging her Palisman close to her. "What about Lilith, she kept hers?!"

"From what I know, she got an exception, but it was probably for the same reason why he let me keep Flapjack," he replied, though he didn't elaborate on Belos's true relations to the Clawthornes. "He gave me a mission to find him more Palismen and, well, I heard about Hexside having a Palisman Adoption Day… back then, making my uncle proud was my top priority, I didn't care if the Palismen were living creatures, especially since they were made from wild magic and you know how my uncle feels about that. But then Luz was there and she tried to stop me and then Kikimora caused us to crash near Latissa with one Palisman, Maya, as a casualty, and… Luz accidentally ate her essence…" Boscha had a shocked look while Hunter continued. "I think that is why Luz doesn't have a Palisman of her own yet, out of fear for what happened to Maya, though apparently Maya and Luz share a body now. Anyway, Amity had followed Luz and we worked together to rescue her and the Palismen. But after the Palismans were retrieved from Kiki, that's when I… kinda… double-crossed them."

"What?" Boscha asked in shock.

"Like I said, making my uncle proud was my top priority. I didn't feel like I could fail my mission, so I betrayed my first friend and exposed who I really was to her in the process," Hunter said, which made Boscha wince. "They got the Palismen away and when Luz and Amity told their friends who I really am… well, you know the rest." He leaned on the wall while Flapjack chirped to him. "Back then… I was a real creep to them. Losing an arm is just my penance from all the damage I've caused. But I don't even know where Luz and I stand right now. I mean, I'm pretty sure we're over the 'she wants me dead' thing, but beyond that I don't know."

Boscha joined him in leaning against the wall. "I… can relate," she admitted with a sigh. "While me and Amity have agreed to be friends again, or have at least agreed to be real friends this time, I don't even know about the rest of my former posse… well, I'm pretty sure Cat wants to be friends again, but I don't know about Amelia and I especially don't know about Skara. I mean, sure, me and Skara are friendly towards each other, good terms and all… but we haven't had a heart-to-heart since right after the Glandus War." She looked down. "I don't think that she has completely forgiven me yet like Amity and Luz have." She looked at him. "And I'm pretty sure you haven't forgiven Luz for your arm."

Hunter nervously looked away. "I… it wasn't her fault and, she's been through a lot-"

"Hunter… what do you really feel with Luz right now?" Boscha asked him, her face completely serious.

Hunter looked down. "I… I don't hate her, but… I guess… what she did was extreme, she didn't have to chase me and maul me like that. If she were to just stop and listen to me…" For a brief moment, he looked angry. His expression softened. "I just… I was so mad, I blamed myself because I didn't want to be mad at Luz… but I know that I couldn't easily forgive her for what she's done to me."

"Maybe you should tell her that when this is all over," Boscha suggested. "Because honestly, you two look like you need to talk this out."

"Yeah… I think we should," Hunter agreed before looking at Boscha. "What about you? Is there anything we need to talk about?"

"Well… about Belos being your uncle," Boscha said. "I'm still shocked about it. What's the deal there exactly?"

Hunter sighed. "I used to believe that the original Golden Guard, my predecessor, was my father, and Vina Charmspell, Lilith's predecessor, was my mother." Seeing Boscha's shocked look, he clarified. "But I'm not so sure about it anymore. I've learned that I could be a Grimwalker… but I'm not sure yet. I'm… still processing it."

"So… let me get this right," Boscha said as she recapped. "Luz has a Palisman in her head, Amity is part-Fae, and you may be a clone. Did I get that right?" She saw Hunter nod and she sighed. "Dear Titan… next thing you know, Luz's brother could turn out to be a Titan…"

"Heh, now that would be a plot twist," Hunter said as the two chuckled at the thought.

"Come on, come on," Edric said as he tried out different spells on the lock to the cuff that was around his leg and chained him to the bedpost in Mel's room. After failing to unlock himself, Edric began to pull on the chain, trying anything in the hopes of escaping before Mel decided to come back.

As he struggled with his chains, Edric bumped against the nightstand that was next to the bed and a framed picture fell from it, the glass of the framed picture shattering when it hit the ground. Noticing this, Edric looked at the portrait and saw what looked like a younger Mel in it. Curious, he reached down and pulled the picture from its frame to get a better look at it.

Sure enough, it was a younger Mel. He had no idea how old she really was, so he had no way of knowing how old she was in the picture, but physically she looked to be between six or eight years old, with her horns being considerably smaller. She was smiling in the picture, which seemed to be a family portrait. Behind Mel stood her father, Hades, and a pink-skinned woman that Edric did not recognize. But standing around Mel were… other kids.

This surprised Edric, especially since Mel had never mentioned having siblings, if that was indeed what these other kids were. There were three other children in the picture, one girl and two boys.

"Hey, Eddie," said a voice behind Edric, startling him. He turned around and saw that Mel had returned.

"M-M-Mel!" Edric said nervously, trying to hide the picture. "Hey, what happened with your dad?"

"Oh, don't worry about him," Mel said dismissively. "He isn't going to be a problem anymore. I have some business that I need to attend to, but I thought I would come check up on you fi-" She paused when she noticed that she was holding something behind his back. "What do you got there?"

Before Edric could answer, Mel grabbed her arm and snapped the family portrait from his hand. When she looked at it, her expression turned into a frown.

"It, uh, fell off of your nightstand," Edric tried to explain. "Mel, who are the people in the picture? I recognize your dad but… do you have siblings?"

Mel didn't answer at first. She just stared at the picture in silence. Then, to Edric's shock, she burnt the picture to ash right in front of him.

"They mean nothing to me," Mel finally answered as she discarded the ashes. "Now sit tight, alright? I gotta go."

She left without giving Edric a chance to respond. Alone once again, the Blight boy sighed and heard his stomach growl. He glanced at the plate of food that Mel had originally brought him, the plate's contents now looking more appealing to him than ever…

"Alright, we are now arriving at our destination in the Underworld!" Charon declared over the intercoms. "Please stand by while we make a full stop!"

The team regrouped while Eda stood in front of them, looking at the party. "Alright, we're going in there to face a goddess. We're going to take back everyone that Mel took away from us. Cause right now, there's no turning back. We're going to show Mel that she shouldn't have messed with the witches of the Boiling Isles! So, we're going to try not to die!"

Everyone was silent as Eda gave the pep talk, Boscha speaking up afterward. "The last part isn't very reassuring… but there's really no going back now."

"She's right," Luz replied. "So let's go down there and stomp Mel to the curve!"

"Yeah!" they all declared as the boat stopped at the port.

The party disembarked from the ship. In the distance they noticed the large, skull-like structure, where Hades's throne was. They also noticed some fauna around, including some trees. Though that was the only sign of life, since there was no welcoming committee of any kind.

"Man, compared to Hell, this place is more dry and creepy," Gus commented.

"Yeah, though the amount of fauna is surprising," Willow commented.

"I did hear that Hades has a co-ruler these days," Luz states, spotting a welcome sign with a chibi image of Persephone.

Lindsay looked at a plant that had sprouted plums. She decided to pick one, but Eda stopped her.

"Don't try to eat that!" Eda warned her. "Stolas warned me about eating food from the Underworld. Once you take a bite out of it, you're stuck here for eternity."

Lindsay looked at the plum and let it go as they began to walk up the stairs to the skull-like structure.

"This place is too quiet," Boscha said while holding up her crossbow.

"How long do you think it will take before someone notices that we're here?" Cross asked.

Luz and Amity looked around, preparing themselves. They expected something to happen at any second. They then heard Lindsay cry out and they turned just in time to see a flash of light…

And then, everything went dark.

Luz opened her eyes, shooting up in her bed. "Wait, what?!" she asked while looking around, finding herself back in the Owl House. "I'm… back home?"

She got up, deciding to walk around. "Mom? Amity? Where are you guys?" she asked as she went down to the living room. She spotted Camila there with her back turned. "Oh, Mami, you're here!" she said as Camila turned to look at her daughter.

"Yes, I'm here," she spoke to Luz while sporting a blank look.

"Mama, I didn't think I would see you so soon," Luz said. "Where's Eda and Amity? We were off to look for King-"

"In the Underworld?" Camila interrupted, her glasses shining and covering her eyes. "Yes, I heard that you left for the Underworld… with Lilith."

"Oh… right," Luz responded, looking awkward. "I'm sorry for not telling you before I left. We had to go save King and Ed, and we were in a hurry… I know that I should've called you first-"

"Oh, don't worry about it, mija," Camila responded while staring down at the floor. "I'm used to you not considering my feelings, it's nothing new." She shrugged. "After all, you're still hanging around with my killer…"

"What… mom, where is this coming from-" Luz saw Camila turn her head to her, sending her a look.

"Did you ever stop to ask yourself how that made me feel? To know that you are still treating the woman who murdered me as family? How is it fair?" Camila asked with a hiss in her tone. "Lilith stole the life we could have had together! A life that I can never get back and it hasn't. Stopped. Hurting!" The look of anger and hurt was something Luz didn't expect to see from her human mother.

"M-Mom, I'm sorry, it's just-"

"You want both of us to be in your life?" Camila asked her. "I get that, I get that to the point of forcing me to accept it out of fear of losing you forever… and you choosing my killer over me… your own birth mother…"

Luz was taken aback, feeling a shiver down her spine…

"Mom…" Luz tried to reach out to her birth mother, but Camila stood back away from her.

"You have been ignoring how uncomfortable I am with you still associating with Lilith! How can you be so selfish!"

"Selfish? I… I've been trying to keep this family together!" Luz claimed but Camila backed away. "Mom, wait!"

"You can't have everything, Luz," Camila told her before she walked out the front door.

"Mom!" Luz called out to her, running after Camila. "Come back!" she shouted as she rushed outside. She looked around and realized that she hadn't come out from the Owl House… it was the Mystery Shack she was now standing in front of. "Wait… I thought this place was-" She then realized that she was now in Gravity Falls. "What the fuck…?"

"Luz," said a voice.

Luz heard her name called and she turned around to see Abigail standing there. "Aunt Abby? What… what's going on? I saw mami in the Owl House and she was saying some upsetting stuff… then she left and… did I end up through the Portal Door? Anyway, do you know where Camila is?" she asked, reaching out to Abigail… only for her to pull away, shocking Luz.

"Do you know how upset Camila is about all of this?" Abigail chastised her, glaring at her goddaughter. "You've neglected her own feelings so that you can have it all, but you're only hurting Camila by continuing to spend time with her murderous aunt, which Camila has been forced to accept…" Abigail showed Luz her tired, sad eyes. "Just like how I have to force myself to accept that Eda, the witch who traumatized me by murdering Angel in front of her, stole you from me!"

"What… come on, Abby, this isn't-"

"Fair? How is that fair, Luz? Do you know what I've been through ever since Camila died?!" she demanded. "You were my family, but then Eda took you away from me! I feared that you were dead! For years, I didn't know you were alive and that caused me to sink into depression, to the point of hurting myself because I felt like I had failed Camila!" Tears streamed from her eyes, which upset Luz. "But, in order to still have you in my life, I have no choice but to accept that Eda took my goddaughter. Eda took you from me just as Lilith took you from Camila, your real mother! Do you ever think of how uncomfortable we are with the Clawthorne sisters?! But you're fine with it, as long as you're happy! That's what matters, right?"

"Abby…" Luz backed away while she shivered.

"You may want both for now, but I know that it's only a matter of time before I can't tolerate Eda any longer, and you will choose Eda over me, cutting me from your life once more!" Abigail pointed out before she sighed. "Maybe it's for the best, who'd want someone from a witch hunting family as a godmother? And in the end, I wasn't there for you… all because of Eda."

"Abby… it's not like that…" Luz saw the world around her growing dark as Abigail was engulfed into the shadows. "Abby!" she cried out trying to reach out to her…

But then a spotlight flared up in front of her. She found herself in the Hexside gymnasium on the stage. "What the… Hexside?!" she shouted while seeing a faceless crowd.

"Look everyone! It's good old, Luz!" Luz turned to see Gus in his Grom suit while the faceless crowd cheered. "And she might be the biggest hypocrite ever!" he declared, causing the faceless crowd to boo at her.

"What the… Gus, what is this?!" Luz demanded to know.

"Guess the Luzer wants to know what this is about!" Gus pointed out, causing the crowd to laugh.

"Gus, this ain't funny!" Luz shouted at him.

"Oh, do you know what is funny? Hmm? I'll tell you!" Gus told her as he walked around her. "It's funny that while you get to keep both your moms, and insist on having both yourself a witch family and a human family… while the only family I had, my dad, is gone BECAUSE OF YOU!"

"What…?" Luz backed away, seeing Gus in tears.

"It's because of you that my dad is gone, because he joined the Bards Against the Throne in order to protect you!" Gus pointed out. "And now he may be dead! So tell me, Luz, how is it fair that you get to have it all, while I may be an ORPHAN?!"

"No, Gus, I promised to find him," Luz reassured him. "I even had Kitsuni to check up your house in case he returns…"

"And when did he return, Luz? It's been a long time now and he hasn't come back yet!" Gus said in a dark tone. "Or are you too busy with Amity or your family rather than use the time you had to go around to look for my own father?!"

"Gus, I…" Luz didn't know what to say as Gus glared at her.

"You're so selfish, Luz, you know that?" he asked before he pushed Luz off the stage, leading her to fall into the darkness…

Amity opened her eyes as she shot up in her bed. "What… where am I?" she asked as she looked around before she realized that she was in her old room… in Blight Manor. "My old room?" she asked as she got up from bed and saw herself in the mirror… and her hair. "Gah! Why is my hair green again?!" She looked down at her shadow. "Sam, do you remember what happened?" she asked, only to get no response. "Sam?"

Wondering how she got here, she ran out and looked around. "Luz? Eda!" she called out while heading downstairs. To her surprise, she saw Emira standing underneath the Blight Family portrait. "Em?"

"Oh… hello, sis," Emira said and Amity noticed that her sister was smoking.

"Em, why are you smoking? I thought you quit these!" Amity walked over to her, while Emira didn't turn to look at her.

"Ed was right, you know?" she told her, causing Amity to stop. "You were selfish and that selfishness completely broke the family apart. Like how you declared yourself nameless and decided to cut ties from your own family just so you can live with your girlfriend's family to raise a child that isn't yours!"

Amity was taken aback by her sister's words. "Em…"

"Don't 'Em' me, Goodfellow," Emira cut her off. "Let me ask you this… did you even consider the consequences of running off to stop the petrification ceremony or of disowning your family? How it affected us? Daddy's now under the Emperor's Coven's control and is being strung along by those Titan-awful grandparents of ours! Mom may as well be homeless, like I give a damn about her anyway… and then there's us… by disowning the family name… you also disowned me and Ed as siblings!" she pointed out, while Amity was shivering.

"Em… I didn't mean to-" Amity tried to find the words, but Emira chose her own words.

"You chose the Clawthornes over us!" Emira shouted, tightening her fists. "You left us… you left me… and because of you, I may never see my twin brother again!" She turned around, glaring at Amity with a hateful look, startling her little sister, who even saw the tears streaming from her eyes. "All of this happened because of you!" she accused.

Amity looked up and noticed that the family portrait had changed. Her eyes widened at how much it had changed… with her father, Alador, now being controlled by Arthur and Destiny like a puppet while Odalia was now disgraced as she lowered her head while in tears and Edric was running off with Mel and Emira was looking disconnected from the rest of her family… and Amity was not even in the portrait anymore.

"See this?" Emira pointed up to the portrait. "This is all of your doing! None of this would have happened if you hadn't left…"

"No…" Amity's eyes dilated while she backed away, feeling right now that Emira might be right. "I… I didn't mean to cause this…"

Emira raised her hand up, her hands glowing. "Well maybe you should have thought of that while you were still a Blight!" she shouted as a flash of light burst from her hands, prompting Amity to cover her eyes.

When she uncovered her eyes, she found herself now in the streets of Bonesborough. Standing up, she looked around and saw the people nearby looking at her in fear.

"Look, it's the Fae!"

"The traitorous witch who allied with the enemy!"

"Look out before she takes our children!"

"What? No, please, listen to me, I'm not going to hurt anyone!" Amity told them but no one was listening. She looked around and spotted Tabrella amongst the crowd, holding Katie "Tabrella, I know that everyone's afraid but I'm not dangerous-!"

"Don't touch me or my Katie!" Tabrella shouted at her, holding her Katie closely in protection. "Just… leave me alone, you Titan-foresaken Fae!" she shouted while running off.

"Tabrella, wait!" Amity tried to reach out to her, but she disappeared in the crowd.

"All this time, you never told us," said another familiar voice.

Amity turned around and saw Boscha along with the rest of Hexside. "You never told any of us what you are… you lied to us!"

"Boscha, no, it's not like that!" Amity claimed. "I didn't know how to tell you…"

"Do you know what your Fae friend did to me?!" Boscha shouted while pointing at her scar. "Because of that Fae you've befriended, I may never see my mom, Athena, again!"

"Boscha, I'm sorry!" Amity apologized as a shadow loomed over her. Seeing the shape of the shadow, she froze… especially when she heard his voice…

"Children of the Isles!" Belos declared. "As you all know, those wicked Fae are a threat to us normal witches! Amity Goodfellow has revealed her true colors, and with that… she is no longer welcome in the Boiling Isles! She is nothing but a traitor to her people!"

"No! I am not a traitor!" Amity told him. "I'm only part-Fae-"

"It does not matter!" Belos declared, raising his staff. "For your deception, Amity Goodfellow, you shall either be eliminated or cast out as an exile!"

Amity's ears dropped as she backed away. "No… nononono, you can't-" She stopped when a spell was shot at her feet. Turning around, she saw the one who shot it… Boscha.

"Get out of our realm, Fae," Boscha told her, while Amelia and Cat marched up with her and the townspeople.

"No…" Amity said as she backed away.

"You are no longer one of us!" Belos declared while Amity was in tears as she ran through the crowd.

"Deception… disgraced," Cat sang.

"Evil as plain as the stars on her face!" Amelia sang as well.

Amity ran far from them, while passing by the people of Bonesborough that she knew…

"Deception(An outrage!)" the BATTs members sang.

"Disgraced(For shame!)" Skara and her family sang as well.

"She asked for trouble the moment she came!" Nina sang as Amity ran past her.

"Deception!(She can't change her ways!" the crowd sang while Amity ran, avoiding all of the magical attacks they sent to her, including some sent by her friends. "Disgraced(She'd better go away!)"

"She asked for trouble the moment she came!" Wrath declared along with Malphas and Bump. The three adult figures she looked up to, now they had turned their back on her.

"No…" Amity backed away before she started to fly as they continued attacking her.

Belos stood still while seeing the citizens chasing Amity off as they sang. "Born in grief! Raised with strife! Helpless to deny her Fae life!"

"Let her run, let her live, but do not forget what we cannot forgive!" As Amity flew, she avoided the griffins summoned by Viney, followed by the abomination cannons from Jerbo. She even avoided the scouts shooting at her. Tears streamed from her eyes as she flew away from the Isles.

"That she's not one of us! She is no longer one of us!" the crowd sang as they watched Amity fly. "She is not part of us! Not our kind!"

Amity flew down to the shores while a mob continued to chase her as they sang. "Someone once lied to us! Now we're not so blind!" She looked down at her own reflection, only to see Puck's reflection in the waters. Shocked by this, she flew away from the shore as the crowd continued to sing. "For we knew she would do what she's done~! And we know that she'll never be one of us!"

Boscha ran up to the shore, seeing Amity flew. "She's not! Not one of us!" she sang out loud, causing Amity to look back, tears streaming as she flew from the Isles.

"Deception…" Cat sang while joining with Boscha.

"Disgrace…" Amelia sang as well.

Belos watched from afar, seeing Amity fly from the Isles.

"Hmm… deception!" Cat hummed while Amelia sang. "Disgrace…"

Amity heard the last lyric as she flew.

"Deception…"

Amity flew as fast as she could, while tears still streamed from her eyes. She was banished from the Isles, just as she feared…

But then suddenly, a giant, skeletal hand with some melted flesh popped up from the boiling sea, grabbing Amity. "GAH!" she screamed as she found herself in a tight grip by the hand. "What is this?!"

"My hand… Fae."

Rising up from the boiling waters was a large being made of flesh and bones with a skull that had horns. Amity couldn't believe what she was meeting…

"The… Titan…!?" Amity exclaimed in shock, seeing that the Titan had risen up from the waters.

"Amity Goodfellow… I hear that you don't believe that I was alive!" the Titan roared in front of her. "Why is it that you doubt the will of the Titan? Because things haven't always gone your way? What makes you think that you're the center of the universe?!"

"It's not like that…" Amity looked down while the Titan continued to scold her.

"Not like that, huh? But do you know what I see? All I see is that you're nothing more than a selfish little girl that rejected me and her family! And well, you saw where that led her…"

Amity looked down, feeling ashamed as the Titan continued to scold her…

Eda opened her eyes, finding herself at her human treasure stand.

"What am I doing around here?" Eda asked as she walked away from her stand to look around. "Luz? Amity? Lily!" she called out. "Kids, where are you?!" She then heard the sound of crying. She looked around and followed the source of the crying until she spotted a little girl. Eda recognized the girl… it was a young eight year old Emily Tricks, who noticed Eda.

"No… get away from me!" Emily cried out, backing away from her.

"What… no, I'm here to hurt you!" Eda reassured her as she slowly approached her. "I came to help you…"

"Help me?" the young Emily asked in confusion. "Why now? You've already ruined my life!"

Eda sighed. "I know what I did was wrong, Emily, but-"

"How old were you when you were cursed?" Emily questioned her.

"I was around Luz's age," Eda answered, causing Emily to scoff.

"Of course… I was even younger when you cursed me!" she pointed out. "I was just a child and you of all people should know what that is like… but you still cast that curse into a crowd without thinking of the consequences! That includes the children that were around!" She glared at Eda, who was taken aback. "Are you really any better than your sister?"

Eda was shaken. "I… I know what I did was wrong-"

"Did you really curse the crowd just to protect your own daughter? Or did you also want them to suffer?!" Emily demanded to know.

Eda tightened her fists, looking down. "I… I can't justify it anymore, can I? I wanted them to suffer… it really was an act of revenge. I didn't mean to hurt you, Emily. I really didn't…"

"Just like how Lilith and Odalia only meant for your curse to last a day?" Emily pointed out, crossing her arms. "Regardless of their intentions, they still cursed you. Just like you cursed me. And may have not wanted to ruin my life, but you still did." She realized something. "It's really unfair, you know? How you get to be treated as the savior of children by the Isles, and yet everyone seems to have forgotten how you cursed a then innocent child, even though they turned against Lilith for the same reason… doesn't seem fair, does it?" She turned around while glancing at Eda. "But I guess because of how bad my older self is, everyone seems to be willing to look past what you did to me. I mean, she's a bitch, so who cares, right? But it was you who made me this way," she told her off while running away from her.

"Emily? Emily, wait!" Eda shouted as she ran to chase the young girl through the fog that suddenly appeared. She chased after her until she found herself in the woods, then in a familiar town. "Wait… this is…?"

"Edalyn," said someone behind her.

Eda turned around, spotting a teenaged Abigail who stood before her. "Abigail… why are you so… young?"

"Why am I young, you ask?" Abigail hissed at her. "Don't you remember, Eda? This is how old I was when it all happened!" she declared while walking around her. "Do you know what I went through in the years after you left Gatesfield? Did you ever stop to think about how you had left me, a traumatized kid who had just seen someone killed right in front of me?"

"I… it's not like you'd let me help you," Eda muttered. while looking down in guilt.

"Doesn't matter, does it? Nobody cares about the daughter of a witch hunter's feelings!" Abigail ranted while glaring at her. "Every fucking day since then, I have thought of the moment you killed Angel! I've had it played in my head, over and over, and over again, and I was terrified of you, just as I hated you!"

Eda's pupils shrank. "I… it was an accident, Abigail-"

"Accident? So… when you turned into the Owl Beast, did you meant to kill me, or Angel?" she questioned, causing Eda to look down in shame. "And do you know the funny thing is? I really hate you even more now than ever… because you took Luz away from me!" Eda's eye widened at that. "I thought Luz was dead thanks to you! You didn't even think about if she had any possible relatives or other family, did you?! You didn't think of the consequences of your actions and how I suffered even more because of that! I should have been a part of Luz's life… but you stole that option from me!" Eda covered her mouth, looking like she had a hard time breathing. And what Abigail said next shook her. "What were you even thinking in the first place?! Especially since you had already killed a child!"

Eda shut her eye and when she reopened it she saw that Abigail was gone and she was now in the old house. "No…"

"Hello, witch," said another familiar voice..

Eda turned and saw none other than Angel Gates glaring at her.

"Angel…" Eda said as she slowly walked over to her. "Oh Angel, I'm… I'm so sorry!"

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to, witch." Angel Gates told her while pointing out who was behind Eda. "You should be talking to her…"

Eda turned around and was shocked to see another Angel. This time, it was the young Angel Sinclair who Eda once knew…

"You did this…!" The young Angel pointed at her in accusation.

"Angel… please, I didn't mean to-"

"BECAUSE OF YOU, MY LIFE WAS ROBBED FROM ME!" Young Angel screamed at her. "Because of you, I was brought back into an abomination! A monster that has hurt so many people! Do you know what I've become?!" she shouted while her arm crumbled off like sand, followed by part of her face that crumbled as well. This horrified Eda. "You've created a monster and all of the blood is on your hands!"

Walking past Eda was the young Abigail, followed by a young Emily as they joined the young Angel while the room around them warped. "No… please, I didn't mean for any of this to happen!"

"You have a habit of creating monsters," Emily said. "You are no better than your sister, hypocrite!"

"You took Luz away from me, kidnapper!" Abigail added.

"You're nothing but a murderer who doesn't deserve to be a mother!" Angel shouted.

"Hypocrite… kidnapper… murderer!"

Eda held her head as those words echoed around her.

"Hypocrite, kidnapper, murderer!"

"Stop! Please!" Eda kneels down, crouching down while trying to ignore the voices.

"HYPOCRITE, KIDNAPPER, MURDERER!"

"STOP!" Eda shouted, while rising up to find herself in a familiar cabin. "No… not here…" She turned around and to her shock saw her child self staring at her blankly. "No… I-"

"I can't believe this is how I turned out," young Eda said, glaring at her older self. "How did I turn into something this pathetic of a witch? Lilith may have cursed me, but you damaged us with all of this!" She waved around the room, the table was filled with capsules of spilt pills, empty elixirs, cigarettes on an ashtray… and the gun. "I'm disappointed and ashamed of you…"

"No… please stop…" Eda said as she saw her younger self transform into her young adult self.

"Who are we kidding ourselves, hmm?" Young adult Eda asked, hanging her arm around Eda's shoulder, looking drunk "We… we have to live through this curse while having all of the blood in our hands. Remember all the times we've had in the human realm? All the… trouble… the lies, the sex, the debauchery… How are we better than Lilith? Better than Odalia? Better than Nicole? We should have ended ourselves then and there, and Luz would have had a normal life! A life without facing any danger from Belos, from Emily… from us!"

Eda looked down at her own hand, looked at the gun. The same gun that she had once tried to use on herself. She was shivering, shivering at the thought of using that gun to end it all back then…

"Come on, we've tasted the cold metal of the barrel before," YA Eda told her as she moved her hand to have the gun face Eda. "Just pull the trigger… like how you use it…"

Eda shut her eyes, her heart beating rapidly as her finger went through the trigger…

"Give me that!" shouted someone that took the gun away from them… it was Abigail, in her present attire and adult look.

"Abigail…" Eda said while looking shocked at seeing Abigail in the cabin.

"You think this is the solution?" Abigail asked, holding up the gun as she chastised Eda. "Honestly, Eda, suicide's a coward's way out, even you're not this pathetic," she said while putting the gun away. "And you're not getting out of this that easily."

"Then… then what do you want me to do, Abby?" Eda asked her, looking down. "You're right… I shouldn't have taken away Luz, taken away Angel… what good am I-"

"Stop," Abigail told her, while walking close to her. "What I want you to do is to suffer the same punishment that I have to be subjected to every single day… you have to live with yourself."

Eda looked at Abigail in shock, their eyes making contact. She felt almost as if this was the real Abigail…

"How?" Eda asked while looking down.

"You're still here, aren't you?" Abigail asked her before walking away, disappearing from the cabin and leaving Eda alone…

Gus opened his eyes as he got up from the floor. He looked at his surroundings, shocked that he found himself back in… Purgatory, the prison of the Archangels.

"No… nonono, why am I here?!" Gus cried out in a panic, backing away as he tries to look around to escape.

"Hello, Gus…"

Gus froze in his tracks. He turned around and saw walking from the shadows… was Michael.

"Hey! It's the little witch boy of the hour!" Michael said with a grin while holding up some knives. "Now then… why don't you be a good little witch, and let's have some fun!" he shouted while rushing towards Gus.

Gus ran from the madman, who chased him down the corridors of Purgatory. Gus tried to use his illusions, but they wouldn't work.

"Why aren't my illusions working?!" Gus cried out while hearing Michael's echoing laughter throughout the corridors.

"You can't run from me, little witch boy!" Michael laughed psychotically. "Especially from the man you killed!"

"No… please, Michael, I didn't mean-!" Gus begged while Michael's voice echoed around him.

"I remembered how you killed me… using that little magic spell of yours to drive me into having a heart attack!" Michael told him while the room Gus ran into got dark. "But hey, I'm not the only one who's blood you've spilled!"

Gus then found himself blinded by some bright lights. When his vision cleared, he realized that he was in Vegas again. He turned back, but didn't see Michael anymore. He wondered how he got there, but as he turned his head, he saw someone he never thought to see again…

"Vaggie?" he asked, looking at the woman in question, standing on the street.

"I had a life before I met you," Vaggie told him, her hair covering her eyes. "But then everything changed when I met you. That guy, Michael, came to me and asked me about you… then he killed me…"

Gus was shaken as he walks up to her. "Vaggie… I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to-"

"Cause my death?" Vaggie asked as she glared at him, revealing that she was missing her right eye. "Because of you, I'm dead! If I had never met you, I would have been able to go on with my life, but then it got robbed from me because I helped you!"

Gus backed away while Michael laughed. "Oh Gus, you are just as bad as me! We're just alike!"

"No! I'm nothing like you!" Gus shouted as Vaggie walked around him.

"Oh, not to mention that you made an illusion of me to talk to! Talk about creepy!" Vaggie accused him.

"Vaggie, it's not like that!" Gus told her. "I just missed you!"

"Whoa, talk about obsessed, buddy! You're just as obsessed with her as your mom was with your dad!" Michael taunted him.

"Please, stop it!" Gus tried to block them out while the two flew around him, taunting him. He closed his eyes.

"You are terrible, son," said another voice.

Gus's eyes opened and he looked up to see, much to his shock, his mother Jenny in front of him.

"You! What do you want!" Gus shouted in anger.

"Angry, are you? Are you going to kill me like you did to the other two?" Jenny asked with a laugh. "You really are my son…"

"I'm nothing like you! You drugged dad into keeping him around you!" Gus points out at her.

"I did… but what do you think your father would react when he learns of the blood you spilled?" Jenny asked him. "If he is alive, he's going to be disappointed in you… he had high hopes of you being a great illusionist… but in the end you're just as bad as Emily Tricks, ruining lives just like she did."

Gus's ears dropped.. "No…" he denied while feeling the guilt washing over him… his mother's words were getting to him.

Willow opened her eyes and found herself in a cell. A cell that she was all too familiar with.

She was back in the Historical Society building in Gatesfield.

"What… why am I back here?!" Willow asked in a panic while trying to use her magic to get out. But it was no use, since her spells wouldn't work.

"You'll be staying here for a long time, witch."

Looking up, Willow saw Jacob Hopkins with his glasses blurred in the light. "You… stay away from me!" she shouted at him.

"No, you're a danger to this world, witch," Jacob said while holding up a syringe. "But don't worry, you'll have to be put to sleep when the transport comes for you."

"No… get back!" Willow told him off as he drew closer, showing his much larger form. "I'm warning you!"

"You can't harm me," he told her, sporting a sinister grin. "You're helpless now! If those meddling teens hadn't helped you out, you have never gotten away from me!"

Willow looked as the syringe drew closer, while Jacob's voice echoed.

"Nobody can save you now…!"

Lilith opened her eyes, finding herself in a familiar place… the Emperor's Castle.

"Why… am I back here?" Lilith asked as she looked at a reflection of herself in a mirror. "Bah!" She jumped back, seeing her back to her dyed blue hair and in her Emperor's Coven dress. "Why am I back… to my old attire?"

She began to walk around the hallways, calling out. "Eda! Luz! Amity! Hunter!" She then stopped as she saw what was hanging on the walls of the hallways. They were paintings about her.

One showed her younger self placing a curse upon her younger sister, Edalyn, while she slept. The one next to it depicted Lilith running away from the scene of the crime after killing Camila. Lilith winced at the sight of these paintings… but then she saw more. One showed her turning her backs on the Basilisks that begged for help while they were tortured. One showed her handing over Palismen to the Emperor. And yet another showed her breaking both Amity and Odalia's hearts.

"This… can't be right…" Lilith said, having a bad feeling about all of this. She kept walking, passing by the portraits of different coven members. She passed one of a smiling Flora, her eyes hidden in shadow as Belos stood next to her and placed his hand on her shoulder. Another showed Vina and another showed Hunter as the Golden Guard.

"Surprised to see you back here…"

Lilith paused, hearing a familiar voice. She looked back and saw Vina's portrait… staring at her. "Vina…?"

"You know, Lilith, I saw myself in you once," Vina said while moving. "But now I see someone much worse."

"Vina…" Lilith said as she walked up to the portrait.

"You've turned your back on the Emperor's Coven, your loyalty to the throne!" Vina accused with an angered look. "And look how it turned out for you… you're now at your lowest."

"Vina, I was just trying to protect my family!" Lilith told her and to her shock Vina came out of the portrait.

"That wild witch family of yours?" Vina asked. "Tell me, Lilith, was it worth losing everything over them?" she asked while creating a spell circle and shooting a spell at Lilith.

Lilith summoned her own staff to deflect her attack. She saw Vina instantly appear before her, shooting another spell at her causing Lilith to fall back. Lilith got up, holding her staff and shooting magic beams at her, while Vina dodged.

"Did you forget who taught you?!" Vina asked while drawing out a sword made of fire which she clashed against Lilith's staff.

Lilith held onto her staff, pushing Vina back before she started to run from her. Vina drew a spell circle to summon ghosts to surround Lilith, blocking her from any escape route. She saw Vina charging at her and swinging her sword, which Lilith dodged.

"Vina, stop!" Lilith cried out while Vina kicked her in the stomach.

"Haven't I taught you anything, apprentice?" Vina told her while grabbing Lilith by her hair. "Wild magic is a danger, and you were a fool to chase around Eda in order to ease your own guilty conscience! You made yourself weak and why? She doesn't need you, just as Amity doesn't need you… you have no one!" she shouted while shoving Lilith toward a portrait, causing her to go through it.

She ended up rolling across the ground before getting back up. Looking around for Vina, she realized she was on the bridge over the moat of the Emperor's Castle. She walked over to the edge and looked down into the moat, gasping as she stepped away from what she saw…

Petrified statues… statues of everyone she knew…

"You see this, Lilith?" Lilith turned to see Vina on the other end of the bridge. "Everything that you touch goes to ruin… you've doomed everyone you care about with your own choices."

"This… can't be…" Lilith said while Vina laughed.

"It is, witchling," Vina told her. "You know, this is exactly why I avoided relationships, because I knew better than to sacrifice my ambitions for something as futile as love! If there is one thing I've learned from the Emperor's Coven, it is that relationships make one weak… that family is a weakness! A lesson that you yourself never learned and because of that, you're suffering!" She gestured with her sword at Lilith. "Tell me, Lilith… do you really see a happy ending for you? Do you really think that you even deserved to be loved?"

"I…" Lilith then glanced down at the petrified body of Odalia, along with her family…

She looked back up at Vina. "I don't," she admitted. "I don't think I deserve love and I don't see a happy ending for myself…"

"Took you long enough," Vina told her. "And I bet those two girls, Luz and Amity, are better off without you. Perhaps you should just cut yourself out of their lives completely, especially after you hurt their relationships with their mothers…"

"You're… right," Lilith admitted as she lowered her head and shut her eyes. "I have been selfish to still want something with Luz and Amity after the pain I caused them and their families… I don't deserve them. I kept holding onto hope that I could still be in their lives… but that ship has already sailed, hasn't it? I have complicated their lives… they would be better off without me…"

"Bum-bum-bum, bum-bum bum, bum..."

A shadow loomed over her. Lilith looked up and saw a large, giant mask with horns floating above her. Its purple eyes and teeth glowed.

"Hello Lilith… are you ready?!" the Baron asked her while Lilith looked up in shock.

"That voice… the Baron?!" Lilith asked in a panic.

"Come now, Lily! Everyone's waiting for you!" he declared while opening his mouth, causing other masks and vodou dolls to spill out.

Lilith backed away as she heard music playing, the masks chanting while the vodou dolls hit the drums. Lilith felt her own shadow grabbing her. "No… please! Stop!"

"It's either you or Camila, Lily!" the Baron declared as his mouth opened, allowing Lilith to be pulled into his realm…

Hunter opened his eyes, gasping. He got up, looked around, and found himself in his old room… at the castle.

"I'm… back at the castle," he said while Flapjack chirped at him. "Glad to see you too, buddy," he said while they looked around and he realized he was back in his old garb. "My Golden Guard outfit… how did I get back into this?" he asked while he and Flapjack exited the room. "How did we get here?"

As he walked through the castle halls, he noticed the walls being lined with portraits. It included portraits of the Emperor and the Golden Guard. But he also saw paintings… of his actions.

One depicted his double life he kept hidden from his old friends, followed by a painting of Luz, Amity, Willow, and Gus turning away from Hunter after the reveal. Next he saw a painting of a broken hearted Edric going with Mel, away from Hunter. And then he saw a painting of Hunter shooting at Lilith and leaving her for dead, followed by Luz attacking him.

"This is…" Hunter said while looking at the paintings.

"Your sins," the Golden Guard spoke, causing Hunter to turn around and see him coming out from the portrait. "Hello there… son."

"Y-You're…" Hunter saw the Golden Guard launching himself with the artificial staff, which Hunter had to dodge. "WAH!" he shouted, seeing the staff stab through the wall like butter. The original Golden Guard turned to Hunter and drew a spell circle, launching light beam attacks for Hunter to dodge.

He turned Flapjack into a staff and flew away, weaving through the hallways of the castle until the Golden Guard popped up in front of him. Using his own staff, he shot golden beams at Hunter, forcing him to fly away from him. The Golden Guard chased after him, firing spells that Hunter dodged to the best of his ability until the Golden Guard pop[ed up next to him and kicked Hunter off of his staff.

Flapjack changed back and flew over to Hunter, who was getting up. "You want to fight? I'll fight!" he shouted to the Golden Guard, who turned Flapjack into his staff again and shot beams of magic at the Golden Guard who dodged them.

It was then the Golden Guard launched himself close to Hunter again, but Hunter used the staff to hit the Golden guard's mask off of him. When Hunter took a good look at the now unmasked Golden Guard, his eyes widened in fear…

Because he was looking at a rotting corpse that gargled at him. The Golden Guard then screeched before melting away in front of Hunter, causing the blonde witch boy the shiver and scream. He kicked the Golden Guard away from him as he melted away.

"What in Titan's name…?!" Hunter backed away until he fell into a painting. As he fell through to the other side, he felt himself hit a table. "Ow!" He winced before he looked around and saw what room he was in. "Oh my… Titan…"

It was a lab. Not like the one in Dr. Bride's, since the bodies here were more… grotesque. He saw broken Golden Guard masks lying around, surrounded by bones. He then saw the unfinished Grimwalkers laying on the tables… with some missing skin. But even without their skin, he could see the resemblance.

"Oh my… they're…" Hunter gasped as he felt a hand on his shoulder. Slowly, he looked back and saw the owner of that hand… Belos.

"You shouldn't be here," Belos told him while not wearing his mask. He sighed and as Hunter looked up to him in fear he walked around Hunter, touching a strand of his hair and flicking it. "It is a shame though… because out of all the Grimwalkers, you were the one that looked the most like him."

As Hunter backed away from him, he found himself sinking. "AH! Hey! No!" Hunter cried out while feeling himself sinking into the ground, Flapjack sinking as well. "Please, no!" he cried, feeling the ground swallowing him up…

'What… where am I…' Boscha said as she opened her eyes and tried to move, only to realize that she couldn't do anything. She tried to cry out, but no sound left her throat. That was when she realized… she was paralyzed again.

She was in some dark void and in the distance she managed to spot two familiar figures. 'Tom! Mom!'

Spotting Boscha, Tom and Athena were about to walk towards her… until they got wrapped in chains. They screamed as they were pulled away into the shadows.

'No!' Boscha cried out in shock, tears streaming from her eyes. Then, she heard more cries.

"No! Stop! I didn't mean to hurt her!" Skara cried out while being taken away by the Demon Hunters. "I don't want to die! I don't want to die! Boscha, help!" she shouted before the Demon Hunters used their magic to torture her. "AAAH!"

Boscha was forced to watch, unable to look away as Skara's screams echoed. She then heard the cries of her brother…

"Get away from me!" Boris cried out as the scouts chased after him. He used his magic to keep them away from him while he ran. But then he got hit by a spell by one guard.

"Take him away with the rest!" the guard said as they dragged Boris away.

'Mom! Tom! Skara! Boris!' Boscha cried out, unable to do anything to help them. Then another figure loomed over her. At first, Boscha thought it was her mother Nicole. But then the figure morphed into the one person she feared the most…

"Well, well, well, look who's a helpless little witch," Evil-Puck said in a mocking tone while caressing Boscha's scarred cheek. "Do you remember the fun we've had? Don't worry, the Inner Demon won't be around… it's just you and me…" he said as he held up a spider, opened Boscha's mouth, and put the spider in…

This was Boscha's most vivid nightmare. Relieving the time she was paralyzed.

"I don't know if you have realized this yet, but you can blame me for Amity's current situation," Evil-Puck said. "Why, if it weren't for me, she wouldn't have to fear being hunted down and alienated from the rest of the Isles… all because I 'accidentally' made her a Fae!" He giggled to himself as he looked at Boscha. "Say… maybe your new friends would like to be in on this!"

It was then that Boscha saw Gavin, Angmar, and Ukla were nearby, all tied up.

"Boscha!/Help us!/Don't let him do this!" they cried out while struggling with their bonds.

Evil-Puck turned around, giving a grin. "Now then… let's have some fun, shall we?" he asked while pulling out his knives…

Lindsay opened her eyes, looking around. She was in Bonesborough… during the Coven Day Parade.

"Wait… why am I back at Bonesborough?" Lindsay asked, backing away until she heard crackling laughter.

"Hello, dear!"

She yelped, turning around and seeing the Grim Goblin hovering towards her. She quickly began to run as fast as she could, the Grim Goblin in pursuit of her.

"Come on, don't run! We have unfinished business to attend to!" he called out to her.

"Leave me alone!" she shouted at him while knocking over a sign. "Help! Someone!"

"There's nobody here to save you this time, dearie!" he mocked her.

Lindsay continued to run, looking around for someone to help her. After turning a corner, she saw Emily Tricks in her Golden Guard uniform standing there. "Emily!" she shouted, running towards her. "Emily, you have to help me! The Grim Goblin's back and is coming after me!"

But Emily just turned her back on Lindsay, shocking the cyclops girl.

"Emily…" she said while seeing Emily disappear from view.

"Told you so!" two voices shouted.

Lindsay turned around and saw Luz and Nina, both crossing their arms while walking around her. "We told you that Emily is someone not worth saving," Luz said in a mocking tone.

"She's a bitch that would betray her own friends if things don't go her way," Nina added mockingly.

"What did you expect would happen, idiot?" Luz flicked at her with a laugh.

"Don't be too hard on yourself, Emily does this all the time," Nina said. "Nothing's going to be different even if you save that worthless whore…"

Lindsay was overwhelmed and she looked down, tears leaking from her eye as they mocked and laughed at her. She was then grabbed from behind by the Grim Goblin, who laughed while carrying her off.

"No! Stop! Let me go!" she shouted while being held in his arms.

"Come on! Let's go fly up high to see how far you go down!" the Grim Goblin declared, flying up high from town while Lindsay gave a look of panic.

But it was then that the Grim Goblin took Lindsay to a particular part of the Isles where a funeral was being held. Lindsay saw her loved ones there, including friends, family, and acquaintances, all attending the funeral. Much to her shock, Lindsay realized that the funeral… was for her.

"No… my Lindsay, why?!" Aunt Dorothy cried while her family moaned for their lost daughter.

Lindsay spotted Andrea crying her eyes out while being comforted by Tabrella while Jackie and Tracy moaned about the loss of their friend. She also spotted her St. Epiderm friends such as Donna, Riley, Beocrow, Sarah, Roxy, Minerva, Andrew, Danny, Kyle, and others.

"Lindsay… why did you go?" Donna teared up. "Why did you go out of your way to save someone who wasn't worth saving? Someone you barely knew!" she shouted while breaking down and being comforted by Veronica and Tina.

"Feeling awful?" the Grim Goblin asked her while he held up Lindsay. "Here, why don't you go down there and join them!"

Lindsay cried out as she was thrown toward the ground. She closed her eyes, waiting to hit the ground… but it never happened. When she reopened her eyes, she found herself floating in a void… with herself.

At first, she thought she was seeing a reflection of herself… until she realized who it was…

"It's… you!" Lindsay said while her duplicate scowled at her.

"Yeah, it's me…"

Cross opened his eyes, shooting up from the floor.

"Where… where am I?" he asked, looking around at the dark corridors.

"Glad that you're up, lycan," said a voice.

Cross froze before he turned around and saw Head Witch Adrian Graye standing before him. "Adrian… what are you-?!"

"Glad that you're awake, boy," Adrian said while giving a deranged look. "You lost my apprentice in the Underworld… I'm holding you accountable for that!"

"I tried to save her, sir!" Cross told him.

"That's not enough!" Adrian hissed at him. "Because of you, I lost an apprentice. You are responsible for her fate! And now… you will pay… as will your family…"

A spotlight turned on, causing Cross to gasp. He saw his sister, his parents, and even his grandfather, all petrified. "No…"

"Poor Cross, and to think Belos saw some promise in you," Adrian said with a mocking look. "But then again… your kind are so easy to control…"

Cross felt his arm shifting. He winced as he saw his arm transform into a more… reptilian limb.

"No… nononono!" Cross was panicking as he shut his eyes. When he reopened them, they were reptilian as well.

"That's it!" Adrian declared. "Let's see what you really look like… lycan." Cross held his reptilian arm as he heard Adrian continue to mock him. "I mean, who are we kidding? You may be a top-student at St. Epiderm… but at the end of the day, you're nothing but a monster!"

"Shut up!" Cross shouted, raising his clawed hand at Adrian and giving him a slash. Cross realized what he had done too late as he saw Adrian fall on the floor, with his face and neck slashed. "No… no this was… it was an accident…!"

But it was too late. Adrian Graye was dead on the floor. And Cross was in despair as he found himself starting to cry.

Luz had found herself in another location, one that she wasn't pleased with. "Oh you gotta be fucking kidding me…"

She was now in Glandus as it was before it was destroyed as she began to look around the halls.

"Okay… I think I get it now," Luz said with a displeased look. "I remember. This is a nightmare… all of this, is some kind of hallucination Mel cooked up, right?"

"It's more than that."

Hearing that voice, Luz turned around and saw Emily Tricks brandishing the Sword of Adam. She narrowed her eyes. "Emily…"

"This is not just a nightmare… it's your own personal Hell," Emily explained to her. "Just like the one I am now in."

"My own personal hell?" Luz asked her.

"I just said that, but regardless, what you just saw were projections of your own fears. Though, unlike them, I'm very real," Emily said as she brandished the sword while glaring at her.

"Um… how real are you?" Luz asked while backing away, seeing Emily walking towards her slowly.

"Mel promised me that she'll let me go… if I were to kill you!" Emily shouted as she launched herself with the sword at Luz, who flew back from her.

"Oh fuck me!" Luz shouted while avoiding Emily's attack. Luz flipped back from the swing as Emily kept swinging the sword at her. Luz shot ice spells at her, which Emily dodged. "Listen, Emily, there's no need to fight! We're here to save you!"

"Oh please, like I'm foolish enough to believe that!" Emily told her while swinging her sword and shooting her spells at Luz, who kept dodging them.

"No, really, we did came to save you-"

"I know you," Emily told her while dragging the sword. "I know that you'd rather leave me here to rot, since you figured that if I did return to the Isles, I wouldn't stop until I take out everyone that you care about! Am I right?!"

Before Luz could respond, she fell back as Emily held her sword up. She stomped Luz in the chest and raised the sword over Luz. "Give my regards to the Titan!"

SNIP!

Emily's eyes widened as she looked down and saw a pair of large, scissor-like claws clipping her in half from the torso. Her upper body fell from her legs as they fell down.

As Luz saw Emily killed, she looked up and freaked out.

Standing over her was a large crustacean monster with a large shell on her back, long eye extensions. What can be described as some kind of metallic organic crab with mechanical-looking arms with large incisors, an exoskeleton body exposed on the chest, and organic hard-shell legs and boot-like feet.

Luz had begun to scream when the monster spoke to her. "Wait, Luz, calm down, it's me! Maya!" she reassured her, causing Luz to stop screaming.

"Maya?!" Luz cried out. "What the hell?! Is this what you really look like?!"

"Well, I think… it's how I kinda see myself," Maya replied.

Luz looked at the dead Emily lying in two pieces on the ground. "What the fuck… you freaking killed Emily, Maya, what the fuck?!"

"This place isn't real, and this Emily isn't real… probably," she pointed out. However, she sounded unsure, which didn't make Luz feel better. "But wait, are you even real? Or are you a nightmare version of Luz?"

"Well, I don't know if you're real or not," Luz pointed out. "Wait… do you intend to lecture me on how I killed you and how your death is my fault and I'm some kind of Palisman-eating monster?"

"Um… no," Maya said.

Luz sighed in relief. "Alright, good. Then you're the real Maya." She then noticed the room getting a little dark while Maya's expression became terrified. "Wait… what's with the tonal shift."

"He's… here!" Maya told Luz, pointing at a mist that began to fill the hallway. In the mist, they saw a pair of burning eyes glaring at them before the Horned King himself stepped out of the mist, coming down toward them.

"DEVOUR!" he declared.

Maya stood back while Luz got up. "Regardless of whether both of us are real or not, I think we can kick this nightmare's ass! What do you say?" she asked while offering her hand to Maya's… claw.

Maya looked at Luz's hand and used her claw to shake it. "Let's fight until we wake up!"

The two nodded and began to charge at the Horned King as they gave a battle yell. "YAAAH!"

It was then that Luz/Maya woke up. They weren't fighting the Horned King anymore, instead they were with everyone else at a dinner table. Amity, Eda, Willow and Gus was on one side with them and at the other side were Cross, Lindsay, Boscha, Hunter, and Lilith. Everyone except for Lilith had woken up.

"Amity? Are you okay?" Luz asked.

"Yeah…" Amity responded. "Just… woke up from a nightmare."

"Or a personal Hell…" Boscha added.

"I… really need a drink," Eda said while shivering before she noticed that Lilith hadn't woken up yet. "Lily? Lily, wake up!"

"Oh, glad that you're all awake!" a familiar voice announced.

They all turned and saw Mel at the head of the table, stirring her tea with D-Josh and Trini by her side. She now donned a crown. "Would anyone care for a cup of tea? Or sugar? We got some jasmine if anyone is interested?" she asked while they looked at her in shock.

"Wait… Mel?!" Amity asked, seeing her true appearance.

"Oh, I thought someone would pick up my true appearance," Mel admitted. "Yeah, this is how I look, as a goddess. Some say I take it after my mother… don't ask how the dark side of my face is, I think it could be some kind of pigmentation… so how were your nightmares? Must be some messed up shit planted in ya."

"What happened to Lily? Why isn't she waking up?!" Eda demanded to know.

"She isn't? Huh," Mel said, seeming just as confused when looking at Lilith. "Honestly, I don't even know. She was supposed to wake up like the rest of you, but she hasn't. She is alive though, so that's something."

"Where is Ed?!" Amity demanded to know.

"Yeah, and King too!" Luz also said. "Where are they?!"

"And Emily!" Cross said.

"And those two guys!" Gus pointed out. "Whoever they were…"

"Would you all please calm down!" Melinoe told them. "Look, here's the thing, and I'm kind of a fast talker, dad's side, so here's the gist: The Underworld is now under new management: me," she explained. "If this crown didn't give that away."

"You're the new ruler of the Underworld?" Willow asked.

"What happened to Hades?!" Luz demanded to know.

"Doesn't matter," Mel said dismissively. "What does matter is that this is now my domain and right now you all are trespassers here. Luckily for you, I'm not gonna kill you, it ain't my style. I prefer to have some fun with my victims first…"

"Answer us again, where are they?" Cross hissed at her.

"Alright, alright, Ed and King are alright, they're being taken care of," Mel confirmed. "Cups and Mugs are okay as well. Emily… she's alive. Now, that's what I'm wondering about… like I can get that you guys came here for Ed and King, but Emily? Why her? Why risk your lives over a bitch like that?"

"Because it's wrong to just send someone down here for eternal punishment," Lindsay said. "Emily did a lot of bad things, but she should be properly go through the system-"

"Oh right, the mortal justice system," Mel said. "I've heard about that, the due-process thing doesn't always work, does it? Come on, I'm just doing you guys a favor by letting you not have to deal with that freak anymore."

"Not like most of us care about Tricks anyway," Boscha muttered.

"Guess it must just be those two," Mel said, pointing at Lindsay and Cross. "Well then, why don't we get this meal started then, shall we? Josh?"

D-Josh nodded and took off the plate covers on the table to show the food being served. Some had meat and salad on them along with a large cooked chicken.

"I got a little something from the Boiling Isles… you could say that he was a… tender subject," Mel mentioned, causing everyone to pause when they looked at the chicken.

"… Please tell me this isn't a biped demon," Luz said with an appalled look while Mel just smirked.

"Well… who do you think it is?" Mel asked them.

It was then Amity saw on a piece of a wing of the chicken… was oracle coven sigil…

"CLUCKINGTON?!" Amity screamed while the others realized who she meant.

"That fucking lawyer from the trial?!" Luz exclaimed as everyone started to freak out.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Boscha called out as Mel, D-Josh and Trini laughed.

"Oh come on, he had it coming!" Mel claimed. "Like, he did upset you, Amity, so it's only fair that we poach and serve him for dinner."

"He's still sapient!" Amity shouted. "You really are a psycho!"

"Oh my Titan, oh my Titan, oh my Titan-" Lindsay was having a panic attack, looking traumatized by what was happening now.

Mel looked at everyone freaking out before nodding to D-Josh, who stood up and zapped Lindsay. The cyclops girl suddenly cried out.

"DAY-O!" Lindsay shouted, but it wasn't her voice but someone else's. It left her and everyone confused.

"Lindsay?" Cross turned to her in confusion.

"DAY-AY-AY-O!" Lindsay cried out again before singing. "Daylight come and me wanna go home…"

"What… the… fuck…?" Luz questioned before she sang as well. "Day… me say day, me say day, me say day, me say day, me say day-ay-ay-oooo…"

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home…" Gus suddenly sang as well.

"Work all night on a drink of rum!" Mel stood while Eda and Hunter stood up as well, dancing while the others ended up wiping their faces with the napkins.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" they sang in suddenly deep voices.

"Stack banana til the mornin' come!" Cross sang as he held up bananas that had suddenly appeared as they swung their napkins around.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" they sang while Willow held an ice bucket to hit with a spoon like a drum.

"Come mister tally man, tally me banana!" a confused Amity sang as she twirled while Mel and D-Josh twirled as well.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" the others sang while they twirled around too.

"Come mister tally man, tally me banana!" Eda sang as she twirled around while Twini swayed her hips in the background, watching the Owl Lady dance with a smirk.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" the others sang while dancing as well.

"Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot, bunch!" They moved their hands up like a stack. "Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" Then they grabbed each other's hands as they pulled left and right, except for Lilith who was still not awake. "Six foot, seven foot, eight foot, bunch! Daylight comes and me wanna go home!"

"Day!" Hunter sang while they ended up dancing around the table. "Me say day-ay-ay-o!"

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" they sang while they did the pelvic thrust.

"Day, me say day, me say day, me say day, me say day-ooo," Willow sang while twisting her head.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" they all swirled their heads as well.

"A beautiful bunch of ripe banana!" Boscha swayed herself, not in control of her actions just like the others.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home!" they sang together.

"Hide the deadly, black tarantula!" D-Josh sang while snapping his fingers for them all to sit them.

"Daylight comes and me wanna go home…" Trini sang while the others were forced to look at their plates and they screamed when hands popped out of the chicken and grabbed their faces.

"Six foot, seven foot, eight foot, bunch!"

The monster hands pushed them all off from the tables as they fell back. Mel and Trini laughed at the moment.

"Wow, now that was fun, ain't it? Everyone had fun?" she asked them while everyone just groaned. "Geez, you guys make some lousy guests…"

"You call this fun?!" Gus exclaimed.

"Alright, alright, I guess none of you want to enjoy this fun little dinner party," Mel said while turning to Cross and Lindsay. "You two seem to be the only ones that want to save Emily, so… I think I'll give you that chance to do so. Joshy, send them where they can find her."

D-Josh snapped his fingers, sending Cross and Lindsay away.

"As for the rest of you," Mel said as she turned to them while walking away from her seat. "I would like to inform you all that one of my first proclamations as ruler of the Underworld is to reopen… the Underdrome!"

After a moment of silence, Gus raised his hand. "Um… what's an Underdrome?"

"What's an Underdrome, you ask? Glad you asked!" Mel replied as she began to explain. "You see, thousands of years ago, the Underdrome was a dark coliseum built to rival Mount Olympus's Coliseum and it was where my father used to pit fiends of all kinds to fight against one another! But then Uncle Zeusy shut it down because of the senseless violence it brought… but I love senseless violence!" She bared her own sharp teeth with a smile. "And what could be better than to let my guests have the honors of being the first contestants for the newly opened Underdrome!" she declared. "Think of it like a tournament arc, part deux!"

Everyone reacted to this, Gus looking shocked while Amity, Luz and Eda look at her in question, Eda helping up her sister. Hunter looked in fear, while Boscha looked in a mixture of fear and anger. Willow tightened her fists.

"Are you kidding me?!" Willow shouted at Mel, who looked at the witch in question. "So you want us to fight in some violent tournament for your own fucking amusement?! How can you be such a bitch?!" she shouted, shocking everyone with her language, including Boscha. "You call yourself a goddess, but really you're nothing but an entitled brat who thinks she can do anything she wants! You ruined Amity's life, kidnapped our friends, and you honestly think you'll get away with it?! What right do you so-called gods have to meddle with mortal affairs?!"

Mel looked down at Willow. "Willow, is it? Do you know who you're talking to? I'm a goddess, so of course I can do whatever I please… even have you tortured for just talking in my presence like that."

Willow glared at her. "Sooner or later, your day will come," she warned as her eyes flashed green.

"I like this one," Trini whispered to D-Josh.

"Well then, why don't you prove your worth… in the Underdrome," Mel said with a smile before clapping her hands.

As Laura tried to help the gag off of him, King noticed a bug crawling by. "Is it safe to eat bugs here?"

"I… don't think so?" Laura shrugged while trying to get the gag off. "Damn, this thing is really on tight…"

"Hey, did you hear about the Underdrome reopening?" one of the wolves nearby asked.

King and Laura fell silent so they could listen to the wolves as Lupus replied to his brother. "Yeah, the Queen of Underworld has some tenderizing guests from the Demon Realm to participate in her games."

"Oh I wish I could go," Canis replied. "I would love to see those trespassing witches get what is coming to them."

Realizing who they were talking about, King rose up. "Witches? That's my family!"

"Wait, they're really here?" Laura asked him, standing up.

"I told you they'd come!" King shouted while looking around at the others. "Laura… this could be our chance to escape."

"Escape?" Laura asked him.

"Oh forget it, kid," spoke up the starving cat. "There's no escape from here. Might as well accept our fates."

"Accept our fates? No, I shall not!" King declared as he stepped up on the rock. "Things are not hopeless. After all, I was right that my family was coming for me, not to mean to brag," he clarified. "But if they were able to find a way to reach the Underworld, then nothing's impossible! And what's the alternative? Would you rather accept your dismal fates or at least try to seize a chance to reclaim your lives?"

"I… want to see my tribe again!" a snake wearing a necklace declared.

"I'm tired of eating dead stuff!" a miniature elephant declared.

"And I want out of here!" Laura cheered with her fist up as the rest of the animals cheered for freedom.

"Yeah! Soon we shall be free!" King declared.

"Oh? Be free?" asked Lupus as he and Canis flew down, landing behind King.

"Tisk, tisk, that won't do," Canis said while King turned around and backed away. "There won't be any freedom around here!" He snapped at King who tried to run off, but he was grabbed by the strap of his overalls.

"King!" Laura cried out while the two wolves flew up to take King up in the air.

"Let's tear this little guy's arms off!" Lupus suggested while King kicked Canis by the snout, making him let go. Lupus caught the strap of King's gag with his teeth, biting through it and allowing King to climb onto Lupus's back. "Hey! What's the big idea!"

"Giving you a crash landing!" King declared while pulling Lupus's ears, leading him down to the ground while Canis followed. Lupus and King fell to the ground, where they toppled over. Canis then pinned King down to the ground. He tried to snap at King, who dodged and crawled over, but not before giving Canis a punch…

CRACK

"YEEEEE!" Canis cried out, feeling the pain between his back legs. He fell over as he whimpered. "That's… dirty!"

"Haha! Luz taught me that!" King shouted while Lupus flew over to block his way.

"You're gonna pay for doing that to my brother, you little gremlin!" he declared while he growled at King. He tried to take a bite out of him, but King swiped his face, leaving a scratch. Angered, Lupus used his paw to knock King on the skull, pushing him to the ground. However, Lupus doesn't realize that earlier that he had bitten off the gag. Canis recovered and joined his brother.

"You alright, brother?" Lupus asked.

"I'm fine! Let's just teach this fool a lesson!" Canis replied as the two wolves growled.

As King regained his senses, he spotted his gag stuck in Lupus's teeth. Noticing this, he chuckled. "You guys are going to regret this…"

"What are you talking about, imp?" Lupus demanded to know.

"Oh just… this… WEH!" King screamed at the wolves with his sonic scream, causing the two wolves to be pushed back from him as they hit the wall hard. This caused some rocks to fall onto the two wolves, burying the wolves so that only their heads sticking out. Once King stopped screaming, he saw the prison guards were down for the count.

"Oh…" the two wolves groaned, unable to get up.

King looked at Laura and the others, giving them an 'I told you so' look.

Meanwhile, Cross and Lindsay had been transported into a theater room of some kind.

"Where are we?" Lindsay asked as she heard the projector running.

"Hey, would you keep it down!" shouted Pain while holding popcorn.

"Yeah, we're trying to watch the show!" Panic said while holding a drink.

"What show?" Cross asked while Lindsay's eye widened when she looked at the screen.

"Emily!" Lindsay shouted while pointing at the screen, which showed Emily in her old home being affected by the Boiling Pox while being surrounded by the rats she had to eat.

Then it showed Emily being pushed around by Stella, Angmar, and Ukla. "Please! Stop!"

"'Please, stop!'" Ukla mocked her.

"Let's see how you like getting pushed around!" Stella growled while smacking Emily across the face.

Then the scene changed to Emily being surrounded by the Top Students. Nina confronted her, filing her claws and stabbing her in the stomach.

"This is for robbing me of a future!" Nina hissed as Cain showed up next, stabbing Emily with a sword.

"This is for making me hurt my family!" Cain snarled while Tito was next, Emily looking up to him before Tito dug a knife into her stomach, making her spit out blood.

"That's for lying to me," he told her while Emily rolled her eyes back.

Lindsay gasped in horror while Cross was shaken by this scene. "What the hell is this?!" he demanded while grabbing Pain. "What the fuck is up with this film?!"

Pain noticed how angry Cross looked. "This is the boss's… well, our new Queen's home theater, where we watch each selected soul that was assigned for eternal punishment," Pain explained.

"As you can see, she's in a pocket dimension within the movie," Panic added.

Emily was now being confronted by Boscha and Gus. Boscha grabbed her by the hair, punching her violently while Gus used his spell to subject Emily into her own illusions.

"No, stop!" Emily cried out, gripping her head as she was being covered in illusions of rats "NOOOO!"

"How do we get her out of there?" Lindsay asked them.

"Well normally you can't," Pain said.

"But since she's not technically dead, you can just jump in and try to grab her," Panic suggested. "But we don't recommend it, cause we can't be sure if you'd get out of there."

Lindsay and Cross paused, turning back to look at Emily's suffering on screen, which currently showed her getting whipped in the back by Yuki. The two turned to look at each other. Lindsay gave Cross a silent nod and Cross gave a silent nod back before they turned back and walked over to the screen.

"Hey, what are you two doing?!" Panic asked in a panic, seeing the two climb up and dive into the screen. "Oh man… not sure even if they'll come out…"

"That is a big 'if'!" Pain agreed while they continued to watch the screen.

Lindsay and Cross found themselves in a black-and-white world. They were in the film where Emily was imprisoned and after a moment they were in a recreation of Glandus High.

"This must be Glandus," Lindsay said while looking around.

"This place does look medieval… fitting," Cross commented as they began to look around for Emily. "Come on, she could be anywhere."

However, Lindsay soon realized they were not alone. Appearing around them were Glandus students that just stood there. She felt a chill, as did Cross, as they walked down the hall together. They noticed the students and teachers looking at them… with their blank eyes.

"I don't think we're welcome here," Lindsay said.

"I can tell," Cross replied while he prepared some spell circles. "Get ready," he advised as Lindsay summoned her staff.

As they found themselves surrounded, both teens realized they would have to fight their way to Emily.

Meanwhile, the group consisting Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus, Eda, Hunter, Boscha, and Lilith had ended up on a dark battlefield.

"Where are we now?" Luz asked while preparing to fight.

"Are we in the Underdrome?" Amity asked.

"Correct, Mittens!" Mel's voice announced.

They all looked up as a spotlight showed Melinoe in a booth, holding a microphone. "Ladies, gentlemen, and enbys! The Underdrome is back thanks to yours truly, the Queen of the Underworld herself, Melinoe!" she declared as flames bursts behind her. "Yes, I, the mistress of the dead, have invited you all here to celebrate the re-opening of the ultimate coliseum where we answer the age-old question: who deserves the title of 'Ultimate Hero'? Well these games are going to settle for it once and for all! Lives on the line, winners take all, and those who make it to the end get to take… the Mel Cup!" Flames bursts again as around the coliseum the seated damned souls cheered.

The heroes noticed that in the booth with Mel was Edric. However, he was not wearing his usual outfit…

"Ed!" Amity shouted. "What the hell are you wearing?!" she asked, looking embarrassed.

"Amity! Thank Titan you're alright!" Edric responded while wearing what could be described as a chain loincloth with cuffs and elf boots. "I don't even know why I'm wearing this!"

"I can't believe Mel slapped your brother in a male Slave Leia outfit," Luz commented.

"Ed?!" Hunter blushed as he turned away, trying to not look at Ed in that state.

"I did not notice his facial hair up till now," Boscha admitted. "He has such smooth skin…"

Gus turned. to Lilith "Wait a second, what about Lilith? She still hasn't woken up!" he pointed out while Eda checked up on her.

"What is she, a heavy sleeper?" Mel questioned.

"She can't fight while she's asleep! Is there any way to place her out of the field?" Eda questioned.

"Hmm… nah, it would be a lot more challenging if you all tried to protect her body!" Mel declared with a grin.

"Wait, what?!" Edric asked.

"You can't do that, she'll be endangered!" Willow told her off.

"My games, my rules, so now," Mel said as she clapped her hands. "Bring in the skeleton warriors!"

Popping up from the ground was a group of skeletons dressed in gladiator uniforms. They all surrounded the heroes, who backed away from the enemies.

"Alright! Better get ready, cause we're going to fight far beyond the Underdrome!" Mel declared as the bell rang.

The skeleton warriors began to creep slowly toward the heroes, only to let out a scream and charge, forcing the heroes to defend themselves.

Luz blasted the skeleton warriors with her ice magic, freezing them and using ice spikes to shatter them. She flew up while in Maya mode and swooped toward the skeletons, her wings punching any of the skeleton warriors away from her. Her mother had also gone into her Harpy mode and was swiping at skeletons as well.

Amity dodged a swing from the skeleton warrior's sword while using her Abomination magic to push one away from her. She did a split and slid around to complete a circle, then jumped back so that when a skeleton came over, it was blasted away by abomi-goo. When one skeleton tried to ambush her, it was knocked away by Sam.

"I got your back, Amity," Sam said.

"Thanks, Sam," Amity replied while shooting flames at the other skeletons.

Willow summoned vines to fight against the skeleton warriors, forming them into larger green fists. She stretched them out to knock the skeletons away while Boscha used her crossbow to shoot potions at the skeleton warriors. She and Willow were back to back, the two nodding to each other as they both hooked each other's arms as Boscha shot flames at the skeletons while Willow swung her around.

Hunter and Gus worked together to protect Lilith from the skeleton warriors. Using their staffs, Hunter shot lightning bolts at them while Gus used his illusions to make the other skulls look like them, causing the skeleton warriors to attack their own, falling for the glamor.

However, even after beating most of the skeletons, more were on their way. Luz shot out flames from her hands along with some ice. Amity and Boscha joined her to blast their flames at the skeleton army. Willow pressed her hands on the ground, causing large vines to knock the army back. Eda kept punching at the skeleton warriors and when she saw one coming close to her sister she flew over to deliver a kick.

"Keep your bony hands off my sister!" Eda declared.

"She's sending out more and more of these creeps for us to fight!" Boscha said while shooting one with her potions.

"And we can't use glyphs here," Luz said while alternating between fire spells and ice spells.

Amity shot out abomi-goo at the skeleton warriors, causing them to stick to the ground. "We'll just have to fight them as best as we can!"

Willow sprouted large vines to strike at the skeleton warriors while Hunter kept shooting lightning bolts from his staff. They along with Gus kept Lilith protected while Boscha and Amity fought side by side. Luz and Eda flew up as they both spun around like drills, flying down to topple the wave of skeletons away from their comrades. The skeletons were all scattered around as the two Clawthornes flew back.

More skeletons joined the battle as the heroes kept fighting them. Mel watched them, seeming almost bored. Edric looked worried, but then noticed Trini staring at him.

"What?" Edric asked her.

"Oh I'm just noticing the birthmark you have," Trini said as she tilted her head with a grin. "It really does look like a bat."

"Would you stop staring?!" Edric told her off.

"Trini, stop staring at my boyfriend's ass," Mel scolded the cambion.

"Can I please at least have something to cover up?!" Edric demanded. but his words fell on deaf ears.

Luz cast ice and fire magic at the skeletons while Willow swept them away out with her vines. Amity formed an abomi-shield around Lilith's body for protection while Gus cast illusions of himself to trick the skeletons as they went to fight the duplicates, Boscha providing him cover with fire magic. Eda swung around with her wings to knock a few more back while Hunter kept taking them out from a distance with her staff. Eventually, it was just them standing in the arena.

"You think that's all of them?" Hunter asked.

"Looks like it," Eda replied.

Luz looked up at Mel. "Is that the best you got, oh dreadful one?" she asked sarcastically.

"Watching you all fighting skeletons got boring anyway," Mel said as she stood up and held up a dog whistle. "Time to bring out my pet!" she declared, while blowing the whistle.

They heard heavy footsteps as the heroes turned to see a pair of red eyes in the shadows of the arena, followed by two more pairs of red eyes. Emerging from the shadows was Cerberus.

"That's a… big doggie…" Gus gulped.

"I think we can take him," Willow declared, but Luz stopped her.

"No," Luz told them, marching toward Cerberus. "I know how to deal with a big dog."

"Luz, what are you-" Amity began to ask only for Luz to cut her off by flying up to the three-headed dog. "LUZ!"

Mel smirked and leaned back in her throne. "Oh, this is going to be good, Cerberus is going to tear her apart…"

Luz flew up to the dog, which growled at her. Luz just crossed her arms before she flew around behind the third dog's ear… and scratched it from behind. This caused the dog to stop.

"Hey, remember me, boy?" Luz asked while Cerberus gave a relaxed look as she then scratched underneath the middle one's head chin. "Yes, you like this, don't you boy?"

Everyone watching this just looked shocked and tilted their heads in confusion. "Eh?" they all asked.

"What… what's going on? Spot, attack her!" Mel demanded. But the Cerberus dog just ignored his queen's demands while Luz gave him belly rubs. "Spot! I command you!"

"Who's a good Spot? You are, boy, you are!" Luz said while using her claws to give the large demon dog belly scratches, making their tail wag.

Mel wasn't happy with this as she stood up. "Alright, this round's over! You all won… for now!"

Luz smirked while she flew away from Cerberus, who just whimpered. "Sit, boy," she commanded and the large dog did as he was told, the others cheering for her.

"Way to go, Luz! How'd you learn to tame that guy?" Eda asked her.

"Beast-Taming sure pays off, and that this big boy actually went loose in the Isles a while back," Luz replied.

"You never fail to surprise me, Luz," Boscha commented.

"Alright, alright! You've all had your fun." Mel said as she appeared in front of them, causing them to be on guard. "Now hold up, hold up, not here to fight… look, you've all survived this round, so I have decided to give you all a choice… you can either continue on fighting, or-"

"We're gonna die?" Hunter asked, causing Mel to turn to him in a glare.

"LET ME FINISHED, YOU ONE-ARMED, GAP-TEETH PUNK!" she shouted while bursting into flames, causing everyone to back away. She dispersed the flames and returned to normal, as she continued. "As I was saying… you can either continue to fight, or you all can… worship me…"

"Worship you?" Willow asked, raising her eyebrow.

"Of course, my botanist babaloo!" Mel answered. "You see, I wish to be worshiped by mortals just like back in the old days, when mortals were building pillars and having chariot races… but then we fell out of fashion and other religions caught on, like that Jesus-mania, which really got popular." She had a look of disdain. "But luckily, you witches don't follow that bible camp crap so why don't ya start being the first members of my cult!"

"You want us to worship you after all of that?!" Boscha exclaimed with a glare. "You can fucking forget it, bitch!"

"Yeah, we're not open to other religions, especially from you!" Luz told her off.

"Yeah, why should we worship a spoiled brat of a goddess?" Amity asked, which caused Mel to turn to her with a grin.

"Oh that's funny coming from you, Mittens," Mel said as she walked up to her. "After all, I thought you would be open to joining my cult… especially since you renounced the Titan as your god."

Amity's eyes widened with a gasp while the others looked shocked as they turned to her.

"What?" Gus asked.

"Ams, what is she talking about?" Luz asked while Amity turned to them.

"Oh I can tell you," Mel spoke up before Amity could speak. "Mittens doesn't believe in the Titan anymore… during my time in the Isles, I had my shadow to spy on everyone to learn their nasty little secrets… you wouldn't believe the things I've learned about the Isles… but one thing that my shadow overheard was the time when Mittens was talking to that werecat girl at Skara's place. Apparently they were both having faith issues! It's… pretty tragic, a Fae-witchling who doesn't believe in her own carcass anymore… gotta call Shakespeare about that idea," she said to herself.

All were shocked about the news while Amity just froze up until she heard Luz's voice. "Ams… what… what Mel says…?"

Amity just looked down, remembering the nightmare she had experienced. "Yes, it's true," she confirmed. "I… I stopped believing in the Titan… ever since the petrification ceremony, I've started to question a lot of things, like if Belos is really just faking it or if there is even a Titan that we can talk to or if the Titan is dead and gone. I know that other gods and deities exist, but I can't believe that the Titan is still alive and is just letting Belos do all this terrible stuff in its name." Tears fell down her cheeks. "I just… I was afraid… of what you guys would think of me...I wanted to tell you on my own but now Mel outed me again!"

Seeing her girlfriend in tears caused something to snap inside Luz as she turned to the smirking Mel and launched herself toward Mel while her claws were out. "YOU BITCH!" she shouted at Mel, ready to attack her…

Only to be stopped midair by D-Josh's magic, freezing Luz in her place. The others prepared to defend themselves, but Mel ignored them. "Thanks D-Josh, you are a wonderful friend… don't have to lift a finger to defend herself…" Mel smirked at Luz.

"Fuck...You…" Luz hissed at her through her lips.

"Yeah, yeah, and your mama too," Mel said while patting Luz's face before turning around. "Well, D-Josh, why don't you send our guests to their seats… it's time for the half-time show!"

D-Josh sent the heroes to the audience section, given front row seats. They saw spotlights flaring up as they looked around in confusion. Lilith was sitting up in her seat while still asleep.

It was then that music started to play while the spotlight turned to the silhouette of Mel. As the lights flared up, Mel was shown in a black, sparkling one-split dress with her hair tied to a ponytail along with a spiked crown and black heels. She held up a microphone as she started to sing…

"Back in the day, we were once to be worshiped," she sang while her skeleton band plays "But now these mortals think we're worth-less… but I'm not afraid to strike you with my rod, nope!" She smirked while raising her eyebrow. "I'm the bad god…"

She then summoned a pillar to raise her up while images of other gods appeared around her.

"I'm not a quitter like dear daddy," she sang as she held a portrait of Hades with Persephone, herself, and her siblings before throwing it away "I'm not anything like Set, Yanwang, and Loki!" She pointed at the images of the Egyptian God, Set, the Chinese God, Yanwang, and the Norse God, Loki.

"I'm not playing tricks like that rabbit or Narada," she sang as she pointed to an image of a gray anthropomorphic rabbit with the Hindu God, Narada. "What am I, guys?"

"She's the bad god," D-Josh and Trini sang.

"Oh it's just, tragic!" Mel sang with a fake woe. "Like a maggot, nobody worships me…"

The heroes just roll their eyes while Mel appears between Willow and Gus. "Oh but it gets better, I can make it scarier, soon everyone will worship their new god, Melinoe!" she sang while walking behind them, hip-bumping Luz and Amity down.

"What do you even think of getting out of this?!" Luz demanded.

"Oh quite simple, really," Mel said as she stopped singing for a while and held up her keyblade. "See this keyblade? It is only a matter of time before someone learns that I have overthrown my father, so after the games, I'm gonna use this to open the door to Tartarus and unleash all of its prisoners, including a certain Titan… Cronus the God Eater! Let's just say he's far different from your dead Titan."

"Release a Greek Titan…" Eda's eye widened in horror, "Oh shit…"

"What, mom?" Luz asked.

"I've heard about their versions of Titans from some family friends," Eda explained. "Some of them are benevolent, but the worst of them caused chaos in the mortal realms until Zeus defeated them… that brat's going to unleash a Titan in the mortal realm!"

"More like all the Mortal Realms!" Mel clarified. "Cause Cronus ain't just any Titan… he's my granddaddy! And I am sure he is longing for a family reunion. YAHAHAHA!" She flew backwards as sparks burst up from the pillars and she danced around. "See what I've attracted? Your attention, just as I like it! You can't fight me but you can try!"

Trini and D-Josh were on their own pillars, the former dancing while the latter played the guitar.

"I've always had a weakness, for fun, thrills and grievance, I will break you all until you beg for your lives!" she declared while giving a sinister look at the heroes, her shadow casting over and growing large. "See, I find being worshiped rather fun, I don't need your assistance, I want your adulation! It will be Mel-Mania throughout the many realms abroad!" She then appeared next to Edric, holding up her mic to him. "What am I, Eddie?"

Edric just glared at her. "You're a bad god."

"Or, well, goddess? Hehehe-YAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Mel crackled insanely as she flew up, using flames to spell MELINOE above her.

Mel then looked down at the heroes and put her finger to her lips. "Shh," she said before everything went dark.

Meanwhile, in Emily's personal hell, Cross and Lindsay fight their way through Glandus.

Cross faced off against the former Top students, consisting of Tito, Ruth, and Weaselton, as they charged towards him. Cross used ice magic to make a shield as Fake-Ruth threw potions at him, which he dodged or blocked. Lindsay dodged some Glandus students trying to attack her, using her staff to cast spells to knock them away.

"Sorry," Lindsay said as she blasted another away. "I'm sorry," she apologized again.

"You don't have to apologize to them, Lindsay," Cross reassured her as he shot flames at a teacher. "They're not real."

Lindsay dodged magic blasts as she turned to see a couple of Glandus students and staff shooting at them. They then saw, marching up to them, Cain holding a large hammer. Cain swung his hammer at them, causing Cross to jump and push Lindsay back.

"Lindsay!" Cross shouted as he shoved her away. He then attempted to cast a spell against Cain, only to be hit by the hammer and knocked into the lockers.

"Cross!" Lindsay shouted as she heard a growling noise. Her single eye widened when she looked up and saw Nina crawling on the ceiling, jumping down while she fell back. Before Nina could pounce on her, she was blasted by some magic by Cross, who got up while holding his sides.

"Dammit… this place is a little too real," Cross said before getting shoved into the lockers by another student. Lindsay tried to go and help, but she was snatched away by Nina's tail, who ran off with her, separating the two. "Lindsay!"

"Let me go!" Lindsay shouted while Nina took her somewhere.

Cross's eyes flared as he suddenly growled and cast fire spells, sending a huge wave of fire that knocked a bunch of students away from him. His eyes briefly became reptilian as he burned his way through the fake versions of the Glandus top students and chased after Lindsay.

As more students got in his way, he used ice to freeze the students and wind magic to knock some more away. When one student got too close, he leapt over them and kicked them down while continuing to chase after Lindsay down the hall where fake-Nina took her. When he was blocked by some Abominations, he breathed fire and turned them to ash.

It was then he heard crying. Alarmed, Cross followed the sound of crying. "Lindsay! Are you okay?!" he shouted as he made it to where Lindsay and Nina were…

But to his shock, the one crying was the fake-Nina while Lindsay sat beside her, giving her a hug. "There, there, I know that you didn't mean to try and hurt me. You were just doing what you were made to do," she hushed while Cross just looked baffled by the scene before him.

"Um… are you… not hurt anywhere, Lindsay?" he asked her.

"I'm fine, she just needed a good talking to," Lindsay said while the fake-Nina just blew into a tissue. "Say, can you tell us where we can find Emily?"

Nina nodded. "She's upstairs, in her office…"

After getting directions from the fake-werecat, Cross and Lindsay headed upstairs. As they walked, Lindsay decided to speak to Cross.

"I'm… surprised that you know some magic besides plants," Lindsay said while Cross looked away. "Like I did notice you using some ice magic back there."

"Yeah, it's… something that I've been working on outside of school," Cross admitted while looking down. "I've been… learning about wild magic, Lindsay."

"Wild magic?" she asks him in shock.

"I know that it's illegal but from what I've learned it's not all dangerous," Cross replied while his eyes narrowed. "I've been studying in secret… but the Emperor's Coven found out about it, which is how I got into the position I am with them."

"Cross…" Lindsay said as she looked at Cross in concern before she saw him stop. She turned and saw that they were in front of a door…

The door to Emily's office.

"Alright, here we are," Cross said as he went to open the door, turning the knob…

And much to their shock, what was on the other side was no longer Glandus. Instead, it resembled an old, broken down home.

"Good Titan…" Lindsay said while they stepped inside and looked around the house, which looked like it was barely holding up.

"This must be…" Cross looked around and noticed a little green-skinned girl sweeping the floor around the house. The green girl had black hair, red eyes, and she wore old, dirty clothes. It was a young Emily Tricks, but to their surprise… that she had a tail with a tuft of fur at the end. "Emily?"

"Emily, dear," spoke a green-skinned witch woman, causing Emily to look up. The older woman had black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a black gown. "Me and daddy are going out for some shopping, we'll be out for a bit so watch over the house while we're gone, alright?" she asked her.

"Okay, mommy!" Emily replied while her mother, Margo, patted her head.

"Margo, come on, before we miss the brunch rush!" spoke up Hamilskin, a man with blue skin, yellow eyes, gray hair that was actually a hand, and a brown cloak. "Sorry that we have to leave you home, kiddo."

"It's okay, dad! I'll have this house cleaned up by the time you leave!" the young Emily told them as she watched her parents leave. She then sighed to herself.

"Guess by now I oughta know my place," she sang while sweeping the floor. "Do your humble duty with a smile on your face! Mother knows how much I love her, but she and dad are always doing other things, so I'll keep waiting in the wings!"

"I crave so much," sang the olkder Emily, who was watching her younger self, much to the shock of Cross and Lindsay. "And yet I kept on waiting… one glance, one touch, and I just kept on waiting…"

"And when it came… it came with strings!" they sang together while Emily, Lindsay, and Cross watched the young Emily shivering slightly and wrapping herself up in a blanket while laying near the heater.

"So I kept waiting in the wings…" Emily finished singing while looking at her younger self.

Lindsay walked up. "Emily…?" she asked, but Emily didn't respond as the room suddenly shifted. "What's happening?!"

The scene changed. They were in the same house, but time had passed. They saw the young Emily sick in a makeshift bed. They were shocked to see the young girl riddled with boiling pox while Margo and Hamilskin were talking in the other room.

"There's no way we could afford a cure for her," Hamilskin whispered to his wife while the young Emily just saw shadows of her parents arguing. "The medicine she needs is too expensive…"

"We can't afford these expenses anymore, Hamil," Margo whispered back. "This is the worst time she could have been cursed…"

After that, Emily couldn't hear them anymore. "Mommy? Daddy?" Emily coughed as her parents came to her a little later. "Am I going to be okay?"

The two shared a look as they turned to Emily. "Of course. We…" Margo hesitated. "We have to leave now, but don't worry, hon, we'll be back before long," she promised.

"We are going to get something to help you get better, so just sit tight and don't leave the house," Hamilskin responded.

"Okay, daddy," Emily responded, coughing again. She watched as her parents left the room and saw them glance back at her, looking conflicted as they shut the door behind them…

"They never came back," Emily said while Lindsay and Cross turned to her as they watched the young Emily laying in bed, cold and starving. "I waited and waited, praying to the Titan that they would come back for me, but they never returned…"

They watched the young girl growing hungry, forcing her to leave the bed despite her boiling pox. She had to scout out food from the fridge, which is mostly spoiled. She still ate the spoiled food, even though it made her throw up.

They then saw another memory of the young Emily trying to get the boiling pox off of her. She tried popping them and scrubbing them off of her face.

Another memory occurred, this time Emily saw a bunch of rats coming into her home. The young girl used her illusions to trap them, kill them, and eat them just to survive. She didn't leave the house, believing her parents would come back…

"I think we've seen enough," Cross said as Lindsay nodded in agreement. They turned to Emily. "Emily, come with us!"

'We're here to get you out of here!" Lindsay said while Emily just laughed.

"Oh… sure," Emily said. "Please, you are just another one of Mel's tricks..."

"No, Emily, we really are real!" Cross told her, while Emily just shifted away from them.

"Even if you're real or not… I don't want to leave," she said, shocking the two.

"W-What?" Lindsay asked in shock. "But why?"

Emily looked down. "Everything I did was in pursuit of my goals: ambition, revenge, and… love," she explained. "I thought that I could prove myself to my adopted father, I thought I could prove my worth to the Tarot Guild and the Emperor's Coven, I thought I could prove that I was not a burden…"

Shadows of Grimhammer, Sonya, and Adrian popped up, looking down on her. "All those terrible things I've done because I thought it would be worth it in the end, and I didn't stop because I knew that I gone too far to stop now, and if I stopped, it all be for nothing and I would have to accept that I caused all that pain with nothing to show for it. And it did get easier, the farther I went." She turned around and Grimhammer's shadow is gone. "Yet now my adopted father is gone, just like my parents are gone. Everything I did to get his approval and to prove myself to him… it meant nothing in the end." She said while Sonya and Adrian's shadows also vanished.

"I thought that maybe I still had a chance to make something of my life in the Emperor's Coven, to salvage everything I had done… but now I've been exposed as the Golden Guard," Emily added. "Everyone knows that the heroic Golden Guard is really the wicked Emily Tricks. My life is over now, I can't go back," she claimed. "And now I am here, forced to confront everything I have ever done. And it's funny, because I did have something good once," she said as she saw the shadows of Glinda along with Nina and Tito. "I had a girlfriend that I loved and friends I cared about and I was happy… but I threw it all away to impress someone who used to hit me and get revenge on people who didn't even know me." She was silent for a moment. "I embraced my worst nature and I know I won't be forgiven."

Glinda turned her back, Nina knelt down sadly while holding her womb, and Tito got into a fetal position while behind bars. Emily looked at Nina particularly. "I know that I can't fix this," she said while turning to Glinda's back. Everything she had suppressed for so long was coming up to the surface as tears left her eyes. "I have no choice but to accept… that I hurt everyone I cared about for nothing." She looked to Tito, but in his place were the shadows of Luz, Gus, and Boscha. "I've hurt people who never did anything to me… and I don't entirely know why. I just started hurting people and I kept doing it…"

The shadows disappeared and Emily was alone except for Cross and Lindsay.

"Everything I did was all… meaningless…" Emily declared while she looked down in loathing. She turned to Lindsay and Cross, seeing that they didn't disappear. "Why are you two really here? Clearly, I don't deserve your kindness."

Lindsay was quiet for a moment as she looked at Emily. "I don't think that's the point, Emily. Of being kind, I mean. I'm not kind to people because they deserve it… I'm kind to people because they need it." Emily looked up at her as Lindsay continued. "And sometimes the people who need kindness the most are the ones who deserve it the least, so I'm willing to extend a hand to someone who may not be able to help themselves."

"But… it's too late for me to be forgiven," Emily countered.

"That may be true, but it's not too late for you to let others help you," Lindsay offered, patting Emily's back. "Nor is it too late for you to live a life that is meaningful. You just… need some guidance. And commitment. And a lot of help."

"And it's like I've said before, Emily," Cross chimes in, walking over to pat Emily's back. "We're both in this together."

"You two… will help me?" Emily asked and they nodded.

"I mean, we literally went through Hell for you," Cross pointed out.

"Because we do want you back," Lindsay said. "Because you do matter to us."

As Emily looked at the two, she felt… warm

"Alright," Emily said as she nodded. "I will go for you. But how do we get out? How did you guys get in?"

"We came from there," Lindsay said as she pointed at the fourth wall.

"...I just noticed that," Cross said in surprise as he could see the theater outside.

"You didn't notice it earlier? It's been around this whole time," Lindsay said which made the two even more confused.

Not wasting time, the three decide to go over to the fourth wall and exit out of there. They ended up back in the theater, where they saw a crying Pain and Panic, both in tears after watching what happened.

"Oh my gods, this is beautiful!" Pain clapped his hands while in tears. "Bravo! Bravo!"

"Now this is cinema!" Panic whelped in tears as he and Pain hugged it out as they cried. The three witch teens just looked at them in confusion.

Back at the Underdrome, the heroes had been put back into the arena.

"You all thought those skeleton warriors were easy? Let's see how you all handle round two!" Mel declared as the heroes faced off against some gorgons, a cyclops, a multi-headed hydra, and a minotaur butler. Leading them was Nessus, the blue centaur, who held an ax.

The gorgons used their snake-hair to strike at the heroes, so Willow knocked them over with her vines. Gus was behind her, casting his illusions at the cyclops while moving Willow out of the way. Boscha shot out more of her potions, creating a fiery explosion at the minotaur who just ran through it. The minotaur swung his club at her, but she dodged it just in time.

"This guy is big!" Boscha shouted.

"Yeah, but that one's bigger!" Hunter shouted, pointing at the hydra, which Eda flew around while avoiding its chomps.

Luz kicked one of the hydra's heads. "You know, I've faced one of these guys before!" she said while noticing Amity protecting Lilith. She saw one of the hydra's heads about to snap at Amity. Luz tried to intervene and managed to kick the head away, but another head knocked into her, causing her to hit the ground.

Willow saw them fall. "Guys!" she shouted before getting pinned down by the gorgons while Boscha and Gus were grabbed by the cyclops. Hunter noticed and tried to help out, but was knocked away by the minotaur.

"Kids!" Eda shouted while going down for them, only to be hit to the ground and pinned by the Hydra's paw.

Luz got up as she crawled over to Amity. "Ams… are you alright?"

"I…" Before Amity could finish, the sound of Nessus's laughter was heard.

"Children have no place here!" Nessus mocked while Luz defended them with an ice spell, cutting his cheek. "GAH! You little punk!" he shouted while swatting Luz down next to Amity.

"Luz!" Amity shouted while noticing Nessus raising his ax, planning to execute them both. Sam, who was still with Lilith, saw this and rushed over, but she wasn't faster than the ax as it swung down…

Only to stop mid-swing as it hit something that got in the way.

No, wait. Not something. Someone.

"Not… impressed."

Luz and Amity looked up and saw their savior who had taken the ax for them. The ax had hit his shoulder, but hadn't even made a dent. He was a tall, muscular handsome man with a golden light around him and a bronze look. He was square-jawed with a chiseled face that sported a strawberry-blond beard with his curled hair, broad shoulders, and muscular appearance. He wore brown Roman warrior armor gear with a dark brown belt, brown wristbands, and matching warrior sandals with a long blue cape on the back of his tunic, with a sword and shield. If Luz could best describe this god, he could be compared to Superman in a way.

Mel stood up angrily. "What is he doing here?!"

"Damn, is that your cousin?" Trini asked, biting her lip at the sight of the godly man.

Nessus's eyes widened as he recognized the god. "No… oh fu-!" Nessus was then kicked away by the man's sandaled foot, sending him flying.

The god then turned to the mortals he had saved. "Are you two alright?"

"Yeah… thank you," Amity nodded.

"Who… are you?" Luz asked him.

"I am Hercules," he answered as he turned to the other witches and the monsters.

"Oh fuck, not him!" one of the gorgons shouted as she released Willow.

"We can't face this guy again!" her sister replied.

"We didn't sign up to face him!" the Cyclops declared as the monsters ran. "Let's book it!"

"Hey, stop! Where are you going?!" Mel called out to the monsters. "Come back here this instant!"

"Sorry, but we didn't agree on facing him again!" the Minotaur declared as the Hydra let go of Eda and ran off with a yelp.

"Whoa, he looks cool…" Edric commented while his face blushed.

"NO HE IS NOT!" Mel shouted before calming herself down.

"Melinoe!" Hercules shouted up to her. "We need to talk!"

Mel turned to Hercules, forming a smirk. "Cousin Herc, long time, no see!" she said. "How's Meg? Does she still go by Hebe these days?"

"Melinoe, what you're doing goes against my father's rules," Hercules pointed out. "Kidnapping mortals, opening the Underdrome… where is your father?"

"Yes, let's say he's taking a little swim in the River Styx, is that deja vu?" Mel asked with a grin. "Hey Herc, you've been worshiped before, celebrated from what I hear! Don't you just miss the adulation? The adoring fans? We gods were meant to rule over the mortals!"

"Not anymore," Hercules told her. "The mortals have moved on, we've moved on! It is not our right to rule them over. And you will have to face the consequences for your actions!"

Mel glared at him before she sighed in disgust. "And to think my father lost to a Wonderboy like you! What makes you think that you can stop me?!"

"Because I didn't come alone," Hercules said while a portal was opened behind him.

"YEAAAAHH!"

A figure launched out of the portal, but crashed into a wall. Hercules sighed while another figure came out.

"You really struck that landing, Alex," spoke the other figure, who appeared to be a young adult god man who had short, dirty blond hair and was wearing a blue headband, a copper colored sleeveless armor, a white cape, a belt and grieve sandals. He had purple eyes and tanned skin.

"Ah shut it, Ani," Alex responded. He appeared to be a bronze skinned young adult god man that resembled a younger Hercules but with ruffled brown hair, blue eyes, and bronze skin. He wore a silver gold jacket, a crimson tunic, bronze pants, and gray grieve boots. "I mean, it's not every day you take charge to stop an evil plan!"

"Oh great, you brought in your sons…" Mel sneered at Hercules.

"Not just them," spoke up Kitsuni as she came out of the portal with Puck.

"Kitsuni/Puck!" Luz and Amity exclaimed in shock, seeing the two.

"Sorry that I didn't come by sooner," Kitsuni apologized. "I got apprehended."

"Luckily I found her and we both agreed to help put a stop to Mel's plans," Puck said. "And we got an old friend to come along…"

"That would be me," said a familiar voice.

Luz's eyes widened and she covered her mouth. "No way…"

"Hello, my student," said Jack the Genie as he popped out of the portal. "I was lucky enough that my current holder wished for me to help my friends out…"

"YEESS!" Luz shouted as she shook Amity. "Jack's here! He came to help!"

"Oh my… it's really him!" Amity exclaimed.

"Wait, didn't he used to teach at Hexside?" Boscha asked while helping up Willow as Gus helped up Hunter.

"Yeah," Eda said while tending to her sister as another figure stepped out of the portal.

"MELINOE!"

Mel looked annoyed. "Ugh, you brought her here as well?"

Persephone marched forward. "Kitsuni told me what you did in the Demon Realm, you are in so much trouble! And where is your father?" she scolded while Mel rolled her eyes. "Mel, listen, we can try to talk this out, okay? Whatever issues you have, we can form a safe space-"

"I don't want a safe space, or any of your flowery bullshit!" Mel told her off. "What I want is to be worshiped! All of you may have given up the fanfare, but I haven't! And I will not let you stop me! Especially not Zeus's golden boy!" she declared while her eyes glowed. "My undread and monstrous minions… attack!"

Rising from the ground were zombies as Boscha, Willow, Gus and Hunter backed away. Then coming from above were giant purple reptilian birds with teeth known as furies. Other monsters included a lion-goat-snake hybrid known as the chimera, a boar with larger tusks, spider-demons, wraiths, three horses with bat wings, and the Nemean Lion.

"That's a lot of minions…" Luz said while Alex marched up.

"Let me handle these guys," Alex said confidently while cracking his knuckles.

"We all will take them down together," Kitsuni said while bringing out her blue flaming sword as everyone else prepared to fight against the monsters.

"ATTACK!" Mel ordered as her army of minions charged.

The heroes and their reinforcements intercepted the new army. Eda flew down as she punched a zombie while kicking another. She was then tackled by a fury who dragged her across the wall. She grabbed the fury and tried to pin her to the wall. The fury kicked Eda, but was grabbed by blooming vines that slammed the fury against the wall. Eda turned to see her savior, Persephone.

"Thanks, from one mom to another!" Eda told Persephone, who was turning zombies into trees.

"Thanks! I'm sorry that my step-daughter pulled this stunt!" Persephone apologized. "Once this is over, I'm gonna have a stern talking to her!" she declared while turning another zombie into a tree.

"Did you just… turn that zombie into a tree?" Willow asked while taking down one zombie out with her vines.

"Yeah, don't you?" she asked while blasting a zombie into a tree. "Besides, they're dead anyway!"

The chimera charged, targeting Gus. Saving him was Ani who used a spear to strike at the chimera. Its snake-tail was about to bite him, but Ani grabbed its head and swung it, dragging its body out of the way.

"Thanks!" Gus said to Ani.

"No problem, youngster," he said while seeing a fury coming at him. Gus used his illusions to cast a large monster to scare off the fury, causing it to fly away in a panic. "Wow, now that's some good illusions. You'd give Hermes a run for his money!"

Luz punched one zombie while using her wings to fly up, fighting a fury as she used her light glyph to flash it. Amity shot her ambi-goo at a large spider-demon. When the Nemean Lion ran up to her, the lion was punched across the face by Alex's fist.

"So you two are the famous heroes who slew the Coachman!" Alex spoke up.

"We're famous even by the gods?" Amity asked.

"Yeah, Aunt Aphrodite talked about meeting one of you," Alex said while a spider-demon walked up behind him, until he punched its face, knocking it back. "Like she goes on, and on, and on about meeting her favorite ship. I mean, you two don't look like boats."

"Don't know if that's supposed to be a compliment or not," Luz said while shooting an icicle at three zombies in a row.

"Don't mind him," Ani said while landing on a zombie, crushing it. "He's the muscles and I'm the one who inherits the brains. Aleciares and Anicetus, twin sons of Hercules-"

"Also known as the Guardians of Mount Olympus!" Alex declared while in a boxing position, beating up the zombies and demon winged horse at a fast pace.

Jack and Puck flew together, fighting the zombies and the wraiths. Puck used his dagger to slash the zombies while Jack duplicated himself as soldiers to fight off the armies. Kitsuni kicked and punched at the horde while slashing a wraith with her sword, disintegrating it. Jack turned to see Boscha and Hunter protecting the unconscious Lilith, so he made his way to form a shield around them.

"Thanks!" Boscha declared.

"No problem," Jack replied before he recognized Boscha ."Huh… didn't expect you here, and-" He turned to Hunter. "I don't know who you are."

"But I know you," D-Josh said as he joined the fighting and Jack turned to him. "Aren't you Anubis's boy?"

"Ah, a fellow genie, I see," Jack replied. He smiled. "Do you really want to tussle with me?"

"Oh I'll tussle alright!" D-Josh said while forming six arms, summoning blades as he jumped towards Jack, who charged at him while in the form of a blue Pac-Man.

As a bunch of zombies and monsters ganged up on Hercules, he stomped on the ground and sent a shockwave that knocked them back. As he saw another horde of zombies coming at him, he sprinted towards them, toppling them away in a straight line, even splitting them apart. Hercules was a force of nature, just like his father. The lion showed up as it tackled Herc, about to bite his head… only for Herc to grab its jaw and crack it before throwing it aside.

"Whoa," Eda said with a whistle.

"This guy's like some powerful Adonis," Luz commented.

"I knew an Adonis from high school once," Hercules responded after hearing Luz while dodging an attack form a zombie with a sword before tripping him over. "He was a jerk, had a lot of trouble with that guy," he said casually.

In a military tent that Jack had set up, Boscha, Hunter, and the unconscious Lilith were kept along with a Jack dressed as a nurse while Boscha watched the main Jack fighting D-Josh, with swords and spears against one another.

"I got something that could help," Boscha said while digging into her bag and holding up a potion of blue liquid.

"Do you think it'll work?" Hunter asked her.

"Could be, if it doesn't work we'll be turned into animals," Boscha said while placing the potion in her crossbow. "Just need a clear shot."

D-Josh launched his swords at Jack, who dodged them with his rubber-hose body. The jackal genie turned into a hand, smacking D-Josh down. The young genie boy poofed up above him and shot arrows at the large hand. Jack winced, changing back and turning into a swarm of flies to form around Josh.

"Get off of me!" he shouted while swatting at the flies.

"Clear!" Boscha shouted as she stepped up while holding her crossbow. Once the flies disappeared, she fired at D-Josh. Before D-Josh could do anything, the potion hit him, causing him to crash down through a cloud of white smoke.

"Ah… no… fu…!" D-Josh cried out as he felt himself getting paralyzed.

The main Jack changed back to normal while turning to Boscha. "Thanks, kid."

"It's only temporary," Boscha responded. "But we took out Mel's strongest pawn for now."

Mel watched from her booth, noticing D-Josh getting paralyzed. She stood up while sending a glare below.

"Trini, watch Eddie for me," she ordered while stepping away from her booth. "And no funny business with him."

"Ay-ay," Trini saluted while seeing Mel fly into the area

Mel landed near Herc, bringing out her keyblade and swinging it at him… only for him to block it with his wristbands.

"A keyblade?" Hercules questioned, sounding alarmed by what she was carrying.

"Surprised? Got this as a trophy!" Mel declared while the attack had him slide back but he still stood. Mel angrily kept pressing her keyblade at him, but Hercules showed resistance and was soon pushing back against him, much to her anger. She shot flames at him, but Hercules just walked through the flames, unbothered. Mel, seeing this, backed off and tried to blast at Herc with her keyblade, but Hercules deflected it with his mighty shield and threw that shield at her.

"Ha! You missed!" Mel shouted as she ducked, only for the shield to bounce off of something and hit her in the back of her head, making her fall down. "Ow!"

"Watch your head!" Hercules said as he raised his hand, catching his shield. "Phil taught me that."

As Alex drop kicked another zombie, he paused. "Anybody hear something?"

"Hear what?" Amity asked.

"I hear it too," Ani replied. "It sounded like a… weh?"

"Weh?" Luz asked, only to hear a loud 'weh!' noise as dozens of zombies were blasted away. The others looked and saw dozens of animals entering the arena, with one specific creature leading the charge. Luz gasped. "KING!"

"LUZ!" King declared while riding on a horse with six legs, Laura riding behind him. They led the horde of Mel's pets in a charge.

"This is your family?" Laura asked, pointing at the witches fighting against the zombies and monsters.

"Like I said, we Clawthornes are resilient!" King declared.

"Ha-ha! Freedom!" the starving cat declared while riding on a zebra-dog.

Persephone looked shocked by all of these animals. "Where did those animals come from? Mel! Where did you get these?!"

"You didn't know your step-daughter had other pets?" Eda asked.

"I thought she was content with her dogs!" Persephone replied.

Watching all of this, Edric looked shocked by all the animals charging in and their conditions. "Those animals… they don't look fed…"

"Yeah, Mel doesn't take good care of them," Trini replied while checking her nails before she noticed Lilith being kept in a tent. "Huh, that Lilith… she's a pretty heavy sleeper. I wonder how much she slept after what I did to her and Odalia…"

Ed's eyes widened and he turned around. "What did you just say?"

Trini shut her mouth. "I-I mean… aw screw it, we were gonna lose anyway. Might as well tell you…"

"Tell me what?!" Edric demanded.

"That affair your mom and Lilith had, it only happened because I put a little something in their food," Trini revealed. "And Mel here sent the pictures to that fox…"

This caused Edric's eyes to widen in realization.

"You two… you all planned this all along?! You all ruined my family's life!" he shouts at her.

"Please, your family was already broken!" Trini told him. "You resented them, so why are you mad at us for your intoxicating family? If anything, you're better off without them-"

PUNCH!

Trini was knocked across the face as she fell, Edric tackling her. "Ah! You wouldn't hurt a lady, would you?" she asked.

"As Captain Coven says… justice is unisex!" Edric declared as he punched Trini, who kicked him off.

"You're starting to not look cute anymore, Eddie," Trini told him while transforming into her cambion form. She was about to jump on him with her claws, but she hit the ground as someone grabbed her feet. And Ed saw that the one responsible was Amity's shadow… Sam.

"Amity's… shadow?" Edric asked in surprise.

Meanwhile, Mel was knocked back by Herc, who pinned her to the wall of the Underdrome. "Stop this, Mel! You know that you can't win against me!" She used her keyblade to knock him off of her before she dodged a punch and fired several spells which Hercules blocked with his shield. "Your game has to end sooner or later!"

"Then how about this?" Mel's eyes shone as she looked into Herc's eyes. "No one can escape my power… not even a god like you!"

Hercules backed away as his eyes turned red. Mel's power began to make its way into his mind. "No… no…" He pressed his hands against his head as he groaned in pain.

"Yes, mighty god," Mel said while raising her hand at him. "Be consumed by my power! Go mad!"

Hercules knelt down while he strained. As his eyes opened, he began seeing flashes. Flashes of fallen debris, a disaster… and a dead little girl that he knew all too well…

"NOOO!" he shouted, snapping out of Mel's control. Mel was shocked to see Hercules having snapped free as he glared at her. "Not again…"

Mel realized that she couldn't win against her cousin, especially when he was like this. Instead, she would have to get someone who could. She whistled a group of zombies and monsters. "Hey! Get him!" she ordered, pointing to Herc.

The zombies and monsters moved toward Hercules. The god punched one after another, but they then started to gang up on him, to the point of dog-piling on him.

Mel saw that Hercules was distracted, so she snuck away to make her escape. As she did, she saw that her path was blocked by Puck. "And where do you think you're going, Melinoe?" he asked her.

"You… you must be the Puck I've heard about," Mel said, backing away while holding up her keyblade. "I hear your dear-old dad's looking for you,"

"Well he's not who I am worried about now," Puck said. "You're going to pay for ruining Amity's life and the mess you've caused in the Boiling Isles! It's time for you to grow up, Mel!"

"Grow up? As if I need to be told by the likes of you!" She sent her shadow to deal with Puck, who tackled him. She then made her escape, holding onto her keyblade to continue with her plan…

Hercules struggled against this many foes, but fortunately he was helped by his sons, Alex and Ani, as they ripped the zombie horde and the monsters away from their father.

"Dad! We're here!" Ani shouted while Hercules fought off the rest of them.

"Thanks, my sons," Hercules told them. "You've made your father proud."

"Hey, it's what Uncle Phil had taught us," Alex replied. "Rule number 180, every hero looks out for each other."

"Surprised that you've remembered that rule," Ani commented.

"Yeah, it's my mantra," Alex said. "Where's Mel?"

"She escaped," Hercules said, which Amity overheard as she looked up to spot Ed and Sam fighting off against Trini.

"Ed!" Amity shouted while Hunter looked up and summoned his staff.

Trini tried to fight back by trying to slash against Sam, who dodged her attacks. Sam then grabbed Trini by the face and slammed her against the wall three times before grabbing Trini by the tail and lifting her up.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Trini shouted at the shadow as Sam swung her around by her tail, hitting her around the booth.

Trini's teeth shattered as her nose was left broken. Sam then threw her body across the floor head-first, leaving the cambion succubus unconscious.

"Whoa… that was awesome!" Edric told Sam while Hunter flew up.

Ed!" Hunter shouted while hiding his blush from Ed's current appearance. "Um… are you… okay?"

"Hunter… um… yeah." Ed responded awkwardly. "I'm… surprised to see you here."

"Well… I couldn't just do nothing while you were in trouble," Hunter said. "Why don't you hop on my staff- witch's staff! Which my Palisman is attached to. Um, this is Flapjack, by the way.

"Oh… hi, Flapjack," Edric said while Sam tapped his shoulder, motioning him to move. "Right, moving on." he said while he got on Hunter's staff from behind and they flew back down to the battleground as the last of Mel's minions were defeated or scattered.

"You know, Ed, why didn't you cast an illusion to make a shirt to cover yourself?" Hunter asked him, which made Ed realize that Hunter was right.

"Oh Titan, why didn't I think of that?" Edric reprimanded himself before he got zapped to have new clothes, his casual wear. "Oh thank Titan!"

"Don't mention it, kid," Jack said.

As they landed, Amity rushed over to hug her brother. "Ed! I'm so, so glad that you're safe!" she said. And to her surprise, Edric hugged her back.

"I'm so sorry, Amity," Edric responded, tear streaming from his eyes. "I was so mad at you for no reason… about everything I said-"

"Ed, what's important now is that you're safe," Amity told him as tears leaked from her eyes.

As King and Laura got off from their horse, Luz and Eda rushed over. "KING!" they shouted as the two went and hugged him.

"King, you're okay!" Luz declared.

"Thank Titan that my son's alright!" Eda said as she teared up. "I'm never going to let you out of my sight again, young man!"

"Guys, don't worry, I'm alright," King said as he hugged them back. He also hugged Gus and Willow, who came over to him, before he turned to Laura. "Also, I'm not the only one who needs help. These guys, and Laura here-" He pointed to her as Laura gave an awkward wave. "They need help getting back to their homes. Mel took them out from their realms, and they don't have a way to get back."

"Oh dear," Persephone said, walking up. "I had no idea Mel did this… this goes against the Order's charter."

"We will do everything in our power to help," Kitsuni promised.

Luz realized something. "Wait… where's Mel?"

"She ran off with the keyblade," Puck explained, coming over. "Her shadow got away as well."

"She got away?! We have to stop her right now!" Eda shouted as she walked up. "She's planning to open up Tartarus and free its inhabitants… including a Titan named… Cronus."

The deities all looked shocked by this.

"Cronus?!" Persephone gasped as she shivered in fear. "No… she wouldn't!"

"Does she know what would happen if she released him?!" Kitsuni asked.

"Which is why we have to stop her right now!" Amity declared.

"Hey!" Boscha came out from the tent. "She's waking up!"

"Lilith? She's waking up now?" Hunter asked as everyone rushed over to see Lilith. "Lilith? Lilith are you alright?!"

"Lily? How are you feeling right now?" Eda asked, only to hear Lilith, who hid her face in the shadows, laughing.

"Aunt… Lilith?" Luz asked, confused by her laughter.

"Oh… Lilith isn't home right now…" 'Lilith' said as she revealed her face in front of the others, revealing a tattooed, red skull on her face with black circles around her piercing purple eyes.

Luz gasped, realizing who it was in a whisper. "The Baron…"

'Lilith' just smiled. "Hello, Luz."

A good way to leave out a cliffhanger, ain't it?

So now that our heroes have the advantage by bringing in Hercules to the mix, along with the return of Jack the Genie. Ed and King are reunited with their loved ones, but now they must stop Mel's dastardly evil deeds in opening Tartarus to unleashed Cronus.

The songs used for the chapter are as followed:

"He's Not One Of Us" from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride is used accordingly in Amity's nightmare. In all honesty, I've based it off from one Danny Phantom crossover fic which I forgot what it is, but it did have that song played out in a nightmare sequence.

"Banana Boat(Day-O)" by Harry Belafonte is also used as a Beetlejuice reference for the dinner scene, and to pay tribute in memory of the famous singer and civil rights activist. May he rest in peace.

"I'm The Bad Guy" from Wander Over Yonder is used as Mel's villain song, and explaining her evil plans to the heroes. Favorite villain song from Disney.

And lastly, "Waiting in the Wings(Reprise)" is used for Emily's flashback, similar to Cassandra's flashback in the Tangled: Animated Series.

Hercule's entrance is based off of Superman facing off Steppenwolf in the Snyder Cut version of Justice League. As for Meg, it's revealed that she goes by Hebe, who is known as the wife of Heracles, so basically she became a goddess with a now known name. Their sons, Alex and Ani, are based off of the guardians of Olympus and the actual myth of Hercule's twin sons, Aleciares and Anicetus. With Alex being the muscle and reckless one, and Ani being the more reasonable and strategic. They're both meant to resemble Jon and Jordan Kent from Superman and Lois.

Now to talk about the scenes, the nightmare sequences are a way for us to acknowledged the stuff that wouldn't have been so easily brought up otherwise, such as Luz's selfishness and the consequences of Eda's actions. These are the things that nobody would necessarily call them out on in the real world, but in their nightmares they absolutely would. So yeah, we've taken advantage in making this a call out to the heroes to balance the call out to the villains. Something that I've noticed was never done in fanfics, especially on the main character's side.

And one thing that we'd like to consider, that in Emily's character throughout the story...she has a lot more in common with Catra than Nina, ironically. I mean, yeah me and Buck did modeled Nina and Donna after Catra and Adora, but into consideration, both Emily and Nina share traits from Catra, with Emily getting Catra's more negative traits like continuing the cycle of abuse and driving her friends away from her as a result.

Another example would be Emily's upbringing in the Tarot Guild is similar to Catra's in the Horde. Emily continues to this cycle of abuse she learned from the Tarot Guild like Catra continued did, as they're both examples of abuse victims who became abusers themselves. Hell, Emily wanted to make her adopted father proud despite his abuse, similar to how Catra still wanted Shadow Weaver's approval despite her abuse. Not to mentioned Emily has abandonment issues like Catra has.

Thing is, you can't heal in a place that's hurting you. Nina, who despite being modeled and based off of Catra, has start to be able to heal with the Brookes thanks to their kindness and warmth. Emily however, has always been in toxic environments: The Tarot Guild, Glandus, and the Emperor's Coven. She, like Catra, is a pretty decisive character.

And about Mel's siblings, if you're curious they're based off of other mythological figures that only those who have Greek mythology knowledge would get who'd they be. They all have their own lives, which is part of the reason Mel hasn't brought them up before. There's plenty about her homelife that Mel hasn't opened up about and she's not really the most reliable source of information.

One more thing, the reason why the gorgons didn't turn anyone to stone is because in the myths, that was an ability unique to Medusa, since her sisters couldn't do that. And no, they're not the same gorgons as the ones from American Dragon.

Now to answer reviews:

OMAC001: Funny that many of the arc villains are mostly female, than the overarching male villains like Belos, the Inner-Demon, Draco, Arthur and more are a few.

Gamelover41592: Hope this will satisfy ya.

BlueKnight-X2: Yeah, Mel is, to a sense, held up the same beliefs as Oberon does, that mortals need gods and she wants to be worshiped in another realm.

Matteso585: 1) Honestly, Mel would have just already know that Trini ratted her out, who has done it before. 2) Could be Mel's powers. 3) You should see the crossover episode. 4) Mel isn't a reliable source. 5) That's just one of Mel's good days when she decides not to start riots. She only sparks some when she's having bad days.

Crosshot: There could be a purpose to why Jack was lead to Neverland, and Ed did took what King said on account, just that he just thinks over what everyone says to realized how much he's been a jerk.

Krypton Joy Writes: Titania has no authority of the Unseelie Clan. Julia and Hooty are a whole other level…

Ultimate-drax: Well… at least Oberon won't be a problem to Lumity.

Spantidem7: Call in the Wonderboy…

Shuffollower: Tartarus is considered an Underworld prison that seals up monsters and Titans, and yeah, Ruff would be voiced by Dante Basco. Guardians of the Galaxy is not really part of the LCU, as it is in-universe as a comic series(and given the year, the movie's not out for another three years). Ironically enough, the original title of the previous chapter was going to be "Like Mother, Like Daughter" but we settled with "The Girl Who Never Grew Up" instead cause it fits Mel better. About two of your predictions are right.

Next chapter will be the conclusion of the Underworld Arc.
