Chapter 115: Thank Titan It's Frieday

Many years ago…

The Red Hood Huntress followed a forest path while holding a little picnic basket. She was dressed in a short red gown with black and white striped stockings and black boots. Her ferret Palisman was around her shoulders as she came to a stop.

"I know that you're out there!" she called out, the shadow of her hood covering her eyes. "You can either come out now or I'll find you myself!" She sensed the one watching her was above her. Quickly she turned around, brought out a large knife from her basket, and clashed it against the claws of a werecat that dropped down on her.

"Yow! Fiesty, as they say about you!" the werecat declared, jumping back from Calypso. "I've been itching to fight you, Woodemon!"

"I do not answer by that name anymore." Calypso told the werecat as she dug out something from her picnic basket. "And you must be the rogue werecat who took pleasure in attacking folks around this area…"

"Yeah? All I did was claw off a couple of witches that looked down at me!" he declared while glaring at her. "And I'm not surprised you look down at my kind as well!"

"Using that as an excuse to justify attacking others, I won't let that slide," Calypso said, as she pulled up a mace.

The werecat circled around Calypso before sprinting forward to attack her. Calypso fought back with the mace, knocking him back. He got back up, wincing. "That hurt, you bitch!"

"Is that supposed to be surprising information?" she asked while throwing knives at him, causing him to jump up to dodge them.

"You miss!" the werecat declared as he landed on a tree branch and jumped towards her with his claws outstretched just as Calypso brought out twin blades from her basket…

SLASH!

Both she and the werecat slashed at each other as they made a pass. They then both stood still for a moment… before the werecat fell to the ground, while Calypso remained standing with a bleeding shoulder.

"Shit!" the rogue werecat cursed while Calypso walked towards him with her blades. "Y-You… you're no better than them! You are nothing but another killer of our kind!"

Calypso just stared at the rogue werecat before she raised her blades… and brought them down on the werecat, killing him with no mercy. She looked down at him, breathing heavily. She just saw another bounty, no different from any other…

In the present day, Calypso sat with the other Coven Heads around a round table in the meeting room. Also seated at the table was Emperor Belos, who had the Golden Guard and Abel at his sides. But in place of Alador was Arthur Blight.

"Where is Head Witch Blight?" Vitimir questioned.

"Oh my poor, dear son couldn't make it to the meeting today, he hasn't been feeling well on account of current events," Arthur said with a nervous look. "Um, so he sent me to represent the Abomination Coven in his place."

"Surprised that you would show your face after that mess at Blight Industries," Hettie snarked, earning a glare from Arthur.

"Enough," Belos spoke to them. "This meeting was called by Head Witch Brooke, who wished to bring her concerns to this table."

"Well whatever it is, it better be worth our attention," Terra said while laying her head on her hand.

"It does concern all of us, especially if we wish for the Day of Unity to come to pass next week," Calypso explained. "My concern is about what we do about the Inner Demon and the spread of the Forest of Fear."

This caught the Heads and Arthur by surprise, while under his golden mask Hunter gave Calypso a curious look.

"Care to explain, Calypso?" Graye asked.

"I've had a scout check up on the Forest of Fear," Calypso said while tapping on a crystal ball that showed a holographic display. "He took some pictures from an airship and analyzed the geometry of the mist of the forest. See this image?" She pointed to where the forest was, showing that it was covered in a white blotch. "This is the forest from last week… and now look at it from just a few days ago." The image switched to another map of the forest, where the blotch had grown. "It's spreading."

Most of the Coven Heads gave shocked looks. "How… how is this possible?!" Hettie asked.

"Please, I think she's trying to scare us," Terra said.

"Those maps don't lie," Napoli pointed out. "Looks like we're dealing with some kind of environmental crisis."

"So wait, you saying that we'll all be turned to trees?!" Graye asked, looking in a panic. "How is this happening right now?!"

"I don't have the answers for that, but I think we should consider this our top priority," Calypso said while looking at the map. "For too long, the Inner Demon has plagued the Isles by poisoning the minds of our youth, causing many of them to turn up catatonic or dead." She turned to Orsan. "Head Witch Orsan, what can your coven do to deal with this?"

"We have been looking for a way to capture the Inner Demon for quite some time, Head Witch Brooke," Orsan admitted. "Unfortunately, he's a crafty one. Too smart to fall for the traps that we have set for him."

"Bah, this is utter nonsense," Terra commented, trying to change the subject. "Why worry about some mist in the forest, when we should be preparing for paradise? This is a time for celebration, not-"

"There won't be a Day of Unity if we ignore this problem," Calypso interrupted. "And this is a problem. My daughter along with her friends, including Head Witch Blight's daughter, were victims of the Inner Demon. He can't be allowed to get away with what he's done to our children."

"I couldn't agree more!" Arthur shouted with a 'worried' look, which earned him a glare from Terra.

"I do agree with the sentiment, Head Witch Brooke," Hunter spoke up. "You have my support in dealing with the Inner Demon."

"Mine as well," Ulrich said, raising his hand.

The rest of the Coven Heads started to nod in agreement… except for Terra, who spoke up. "Well maybe if this Forest of Fear thing seems to scare you, dear, perhaps I could help control it…"

"Oh, really?" Calypso asked, turning to the Plant Head. She looked frustrated with Terra's efforts to downplay the crisis and change the subject. "Just as you tried to control me with your tea?"

Terra's eyes widened at that as she looked at Calypso with a shocked expression. Belos just looked intrigued by this as Calypso continued. "Yeah, you think I didn't know what you were trying to do to me with that tea of yours? Sure, I drank it… but I've been immune to its effects for quite some time. And perhaps I'm not the only one who you served that tea to…"

All eyes turned to Terra, who looked around with a shocked look. "I-I well… um, this is an outrageous accusation!" she shouted, pointing at Calypso. "I don't know what kind of nonsense you're up to, Brooke! But I won't have you accusing dear, poor old me with tampering your tea!"

"Yes, I don't really appreciate accusations against other Coven Heads, Mrs. Brooke," Belos told Calypso while intertwining his fingers. "This meeting is dismissed. Head Witch Brooke, stay here so I can talk to you in private."

The meeting over, everyone began to get up to leave. Arthur walked next to Terra, the two glaring at Calypso before they left the room.

"Come now, Hunter," Abel said to Hunter as they walked to the door.

"Yeah, um, I'll catch up," Hunter replied while following him out the door and looking behind them as the doors closed. However, Hunter couldn't help but be curious and worried for Skara's mom, so he held back once he saw everyone else was gone and tried to listen.

Belos removed his mask, giving Calypso a look. "Well, Mrs. Brooke, you've impressed me," he said, patting her shoulder. "I'm going to be honest with you. The tea Snapdragon gave you that you claimed was drugged, well… your claims are true," he said as Calypso looked at him with a neutral expression. "I didn't just know about it, I ordered it. You see, I had her drug the tea with something that would make you more… agreeable, purely as a precaution after one of the previous Heads, Raine Whispers, was caught committing treason."

"I take it you didn't wish for a repeat," Calypso indicated.

"Of course," Belos said. "The Day of Unity is just one week away now and I couldn't take any chances with you, who was appointed as Eberwolf's replacement on such short notice, and you hadn't yet proven your loyalty."

"I thought my work within the Coven showed otherwise," Calypso said.

"It is… though out of curiosity," he said while looking at the ferret around her neck. "How in the Realm were you not… under the influence of Terra's tea?"

Calypso knew that Belos would eventually find out, so she sighed as she petted her ferret. "Well, there's no point in not telling you, but… my Palisman, Tavi, has the ability to help clear my mind whenever I feel intoxicated," she admitted. "In the past, I had a very bad drinking problem and Tavi would always help with my hangovers. And he helped me deal with the spiked tea. I never brought it up because I know what the Emperor's Coven did to Palismen," she said as she looked up at Belos. "I didn't mean to deceive you, my liege. I hoped that my work within the Coven system would help me prove myself to you by the time this came to your attention… though I am still surprised that you would appoint someone with a past drinking problem as your Head, sir."

"Well, I appointed you as Eberwolf's successor because I believed that you were willing to do anything to protect your family," Belos explained, releasing her shoulder as he stared at the fireplace. "That is something that I understand fully well."

"You do?" Calypso asked.

"I have… once failed to save my own family, which is something I'll never forgive myself over," Belos admitted, his tone sincere.

"I'm… sorry to hear that, your highness," Calypso said.

"It was a long time ago," Belos said while turning to her. "Despite your drinking problem, me and the Titan knew that if properly motivated, you would be a worthy Coven Head. Your infamy as the ruthless Red Hood Huntress was proof of that."

"…those days are long behind me," Calypso said, looking uncomfortable by the mention of them. "Now I'm just a mother who wants to protect her family at all cost."

"Oh, I agree," Belos replied. "And I also do agree that the Forest of Fear should be dealt with. I know this is personal for you, but I have no problem with that. It is also my personal mission to eliminate the Inner Demon as well, especially because there is something in the Forest that I want," he said as he patted her shoulder. "I just want to know if you are on board."

"Yes, I am on board," Calypso confirmed.

"Good," Belos said with a smile. "I knew the Titan chose well. Now, we have much work to do…"

Up on the roof of the castle, Terra was conversing with Arthur.

"That no-good, little temptress!" Terra ranted while pacing back and forth. "She was immune, immune! She played me like a fool!"

"It appears that Calypso is more trouble than she is worth," Arthur said. "I'm sure that Belos will deal with her…"

"Oh he won't," Terra said. "Calypso will worm her way out of this, since Belos needs to make sure all Coven Heads are accountable for the Day of Unity. I don't think he could afford anymore replacements after Napoli…" An evil smile then formed as Terra thought of a nasty plot.

Meanwhile, at the orphanage, Donna was talking to Eda about her date with Cross.

"Huh, it's not every day that someone other than Luz asks me for dating advice," Eda said while she and Donna were outside, watching over the kids doing their outdoor activities.

"I've already asked my moms about what to do when I'm on a date," Donna mentioned. "But I would also like to hear your perspective."

"Well you came to the right girl," Eda replied with a smile. "I do have some time before I go deal with some things later today, so I can tell you all about the dos and don'ts about going on your first date."

"I'm ready to learn," Donna said with a smile, holding a pen and notepad.

"First off, find a good dress," Eda said. "In fact, I think I can lend you some of my old clothes to wear for your date."

"Will they… catch my date's eyes?" Donna asked her.

"Hmm, aim to impress, eh?" Eda asked with a smirk. "You are a daring lady, you know…" She held up a bag of chips to eat from. "Another thing you should do is avoid food that can cause you to be gassy, or give you bad breath. You don't want to embarrass yourself on your first date."

"Breath mints, and only food with carbs and gluten-free, got it," Donna said as she wrote it down on her notepad.

"And if the date goes bad, you should always be ready to make some excuses you can use to bail yourself out. Like the most common 'I gotta powder my nose' or 'excuse me, one sec.'"

"Powder your nose?" Donna asked in confusion.

"It's a human saying for ladies to excuse themselves to the bathroom. You don't really powder your nose, just a way to excuse yourself if the date isn't going well," Eda explained.

"Oh… humans sure do have some interesting idioms," Donna noted.

"Another thing is that you should be wary of some red flags," Eda said, giving Donna a serious look. "Like if your date tries to feel you up or if they try to pick your food for you or if they talk all about themselves and their past relationships… short version, beware of guys straight out of an eighties to nineties rom-coms, especially from John Hughes movies."

"I don't know who John Hughes is, but I think I got what you're saying," Donna said. "Though, I don't know if Cross is anything like that… is he?"

"As far as I know him, he seems nice," Eda admitted. "But still, remember my warnings."

"Alright," Donna responded. "Say, hope you don't mind me asking but… what was your first date like?"

Eda's eye widened as she remembered her first date. "Let's just say… anything that could go wrong did go wrong…"

A young Eda was seen with a young Raine as they went on their first date at a pizza place.

"A great place for our first date, Eda," Raine commented. "Better than some fancy restaurant."

"Yeah, and they got the best buffet here," Eda said as they got to their table. As Raine sat, Eda tried to sit as well only to fall off from her chair. "Ow! Dang these chairs…"

But it didn't stop there. After getting their pizza, Eda held up her slice only for the sauce to fall onto her dress. "Oh farts!"

Next, Eda tried to pour some ranch on her griffin wings. Nothing came out as she shook it until she shook it enough to cause it to squirt all over Raine's shirt. "Oh Titan, Raine! I'm so sorry!" she said with an embarrassed blush.

"It's alright, Eda. Just need to clean this up," Raine said.

Later, Eda was in the restroom where she turned on the faucet to wash her hands. But then she broke the faucet. "Uh-oh," she said as she tried to put it back on. But instead she caused water to spray all over her. "GAAAAH!"

She exited the restroom, all wet. "Crap apples… well, time for me to warm up," she said while using her fire spell… big mistake.

Later, Eda and Raine found themselves outside of the now burning restaurant. Many people had escaped in time as the fire department tried to put out the fire. Ambulance rat worms also made it in time.

Eda looked into the distance as she recounted the memory. "Me, Lori the pizza waitress, and the sports anchor witch that was there at the time were never the same since that night…"

"…the more I learn about you, the more I'm concerned," Donna admitted.

Later, Eda brough Donna to the Owl House, where Eda opened up her personal closet filled with her outfits.

"Voila!" Eda declared as Donna saw many of Eda's clothes. "I'm sure when you pick one, you'd fit right in them."

"Really?" Donna asked, pulling out a small, red split dress. "Interesting…"

"Oh that one's my Tina Turner outfit," Eda explained. "Wore that during a stage show of 'Tommy'… though, could be too revealing on the legs…"

Donna looked through the closet, grabbing another dress and looking at it in the mirror. "Hmm, no," she said as the dress looked too small for her. She picked out another one which had a lot of holes in it. "Why so many holes in that one?"

"Give me that," Eda said as she grabbed it from her. "This one's from the early nineties…"

Donna looked through some more outfits. One was a strapless red dress. Another was a black bunny suit… another had a dangerously short….

"Alright, maybe these are too adult for you," Eda said as she grabbed the last one.

"Well there's gotta be something I can wear," Donna said while noticing another outfit. "What about the black one?"

Eda looked at it and gave a hum. "Hmm… you may be able to pull off this one…"

Later, at the Masterskull mansion, Donna was on a crow call.

"So Cross, are you still up for a date tonight?" Donna asked him.

"Of course, Donna," Cross responded through the crow. "My sister's currently picking out an outfit for me… um, I mean, not that I can't pick out my own…"

"That's sweet of her," Donna responded while holding up the dress that Eda helped her pick out. "You will be picking me up, right?"

"Yeah, I'll see you then," Cross responded before they both hung up the crow call.

Donna continued to look at the black short dress before she turned to the Palisman. "What do you think? Would I look good in black?"

"Hon, you'd look good in red, blue, yellow, etc. So yeah, I think you'll work with that little black dress of yours," Whirlwind communicated with her.

"Thanks, Whirlwind," Donna replied while looking at the dress again thinking about how she would be able to catch Nina's eye with a dress like this. She smiled. "I would look good in black."

"Donna, your friend is here!" Gladys called from downstairs.

Donna set her dress aside and walked out of her room. "I'm on my way!"

As she came downstairs, she spotted Felicia in the doorway. "Felicia, hey! Glad that you came!"

"You knew I would, Donna," Felicia responded with a smile. "Are you getting ready for your date tonight?"

"Yeah! Say, want to see the dress I picked out?" Donna asked her.

"Sure," Felicia said as she followed her upstairs, passing Diana and Gladys. "Thanks for letting me in!"

"No problem, Felicia!" Gladys replied as they watched the two girls go upstairs. "Isn't this nice? Our little Donna's going on her first date," she said while Diana looked unenthusiastic.

"Yeah… can't wait to meet this… Cross boy," Diana responded. "Just to learn what his intentions with our daughter are…"

While in her room, Donna showed Felicia the dress she was going to wear, making Felicia whistle.

"Damn, that's definitely going to get both Cross and Nina's attention," Felicia commented.

"You don't think it's like, too much?" Donna asked. "But speaking of, did you manage to learn where Nina's going on her date?"

"I have," Felicia confirmed. "She's going to one of the finest dining places in upper Bonesborough… Charmilee's and she has reservations there with Lambi. But I managed to secure you and Cross reservations, that way, you'll be there at the same time as them."

"That's great!" Donna replied before her expression changed. "Though… I'm having some doubts about this plan. I mean, I don't want to hurt Cross or anything…"

"Relax, Donna, it's not like that," Felicia said, patting her shoulder. "All you need to do is show Cross a good time, but not too much of a good time, while also making Nina want you. No one's really going to get hurt over it."

"You believe so?" Donna asked her.

"Hey, I've been on a lot of dates before, so I'm practically an expert," Felicia declared. "And besides, you want to get out of that shell of yours and experience what dating is like, right?"

Donna looked at the fox biped and nodded. "Yeah, I do." Donna said while holding up her dress. "Thanks, Felicia."

At Satorius Acres, the Drakescale siblings had decided to pay a visit to the Shystream farm and were walking toward the house together.

"Did you really need to come along with me, Zee?" Cross asked her. "Cause if you're just here to tease me with Lindsay again…"

"Nah, I'm here for the same reason you are," Zee responded. "I want to check up on Emily too. A quick stop before I help you prepare for your date tonight."

Cross nodded and went up to ring the doorbell. Answering it was Lindsay's mom, Bloom. "Oh, hey you two, come on in," she said, inviting the two in. "Lindsay! Your friend Cross and his sister are here!"

Lindsay quickly appeared, along with the rest of her family. "Hi, Cross. Hey, Zee."

"Hey Lindsay," Cross greeted.

"Hey, Linds," Zee said, waving to her. "And Lindsay's family."

"Why welcome, you two," Aunt Dorothy greeted them. "What brings you here this time?"

"Same as before, we're here to check up on Emily, ma'am," Cross responded. "Is she around?"

"Yes, Emily is just outside in the fields," Lindsay confirmed.

Outside in the field, Emily was busy gathering up vegetables, pulling carrots out of the ground and placing them in a basket. She gave a tired sigh while wiping sweat off her forehead, having been working out in the fields for hours now. She was dressed in long overalls, a blue shirt, and a straw hat.

"Emily!" a familiar voice called out.

Emily turned to see Cross coming over to her with Lindsay and Zee. She smiled. "Hey, glad to see you guys."

"Us too, Mily," Zee responded, using a nickname she had for Emily. "Are you doing okay?"

"Yeah, thanks for asking, Zee," Emily replied to Cross's sister.

"Here," Lindsay said as she handed a bottle of water to Emily, who accepted it. "You look like you could use this."

"Thank you, Lindsay," Emily responded with a grateful smile as she drank the whole bottle.

"So how have things been going for you since our last visit?" Cross asked her once she finished drinking..

"Well, I've still been trying to make myself useful to the Shystreams," Emily explained. "I've helped with the garden, the farm animals, and I even helped out the Courtlands with their apples."

"Jackie was grateful for the help," Lindsay added proudly.

"That sounds really great, Emily," Cross commented.

"Thanks," Emily responded. "I'll admit, compared to the Emperor's Coven and everything before that, being here feels… different. Not bad, just different." She turned to Cross. "How have you doing lately, Cross?"

"Well, I went to the IFWOT yesterday, and things got a bit weird during that…" Cross admitted.

"We had to fight supervillains," Zee mentioned, which weirded Emily out. "Also, Cross got asked out by Donna Masterskull."

This shocked both Lindsay and Emily. "She did?!" they exclaimed.

Zee nodded. "Yup. My dear brother may have smitten her with his charm…" she teased.

"Zee…" Cross muttered.

"They're even going on a date tonight," she added with a playful smirk.

"Really?" Lindsay asked. For a moment, she seemed unsure. But then she formed a happy smile, despite her surprise. "That's great! I wish you the best of luck,"

"Oh, um… thanks Lindsay," Cross responded before he felt Emily pat his shoulder.

"We need to talk," Emily said, pulling Cross to the side, leaving Zee and Lindsay alone with each other.

"Um, sure what's up, Emily?" Cross asked her. "Are you… surprised that I'm going on a date with Donna?"

"Yes, that and, well…" Emily looked down. "How much does she know?"

"Know about what?" Cross asked, figuring what Emily may be referring to.

"About both your heritage, and… protecting me," Emily said.

"Oh… don't worry, she doesn't know that I'm protecting you and, well, she doesn't know about my dragon heritage either…" Cross admitted. "I mean, it's our first date and, well, it's not like I can just tell her."

"Perhaps… but I'm still worried about Donna figuring out what you know," Emily said, much to Cross's confusion.

"Why?" he asked before Emily held his shoulders.

"Listen Cross, Donna can, under no circumstances, know about me," Emily told him.

"What? Why?" he asked in concern. "Why would you not want Donna to know about you?"

Emily looked down in guilt while letting Cross go. "It's because of Nina Fangs."

"Nina? I have met her before, actually," Cross admitted. "At the IFWOT and dealing with Mel's gang before that. Wait, you two were associates before, right?"

"Yeah… we were friends back in Glandus," Emily said while rubbing her arm. "Up until I rammed a sword into her womb and… made her infertile…" Cross's eyes widened at that. "I know it's messed up and if Donna found out that you and Lindsay knew where I am… she might take action. Because she and Nina were close friends. I already told Lindsay this, and she agrees to not tell Donna that I'm here."

Cross gave her a nod. "Don't worry, I promise not to tell Donna that you're here," he said.

"Thanks Cross," Emily responded while glancing at Lindsay, who was talking with Zee. "So um, I also would like to ask you something else…"

Cross paused. "Yeah…?"

"I was wondering… if it's okay if I could… ask Lindsay out?" Emily asked nervously.

This caught Cross off guard. After he got over his surprise, he thought about it. Admittedly, he did take Donna up on her offer when she asked him out because he wasn't sure if Lindsay was already taken or not. But he never thought Emily would ask him for permission…

"Of course," he eventually replied. "I think it'll be okay. Though, why asking me?"

"Come now, Cross," Emily said while giving him a look. "I know that you like Lindsay, and… well… I do like her as well. She's just so… so…"

"Kind?" Cross asked her.

"Good," Emily admitted. "I have been trying to figure out how I should deal with these new feelings… but I can promise you Cross, I do not intend to harm her."

"Don't worry, I know that you don't have any intentions of harming Lindsay," Cross admitted. "And even if you did, we both know that she can handle herself."

"Yeah, I know," Emily agreed, remembering Madstream. "And I know that Lindsay is her own witch. If she turns me down, I'll respect that. And really, I only asked because I don't want it to seem like I was taking advantage of you having a date with Donna by going behind your back to ask her out before you. Because… I respect you, Cross."

Cross smiled at this. "Thank you, Emily. And… good luck."

"Yeah, good luck to you too, Cross," Emily said, returning his smile. "I do hope that your date goes well."

Meanwhile, Zee and Lindsay had been conversing while Emily and Cross talked. The two were talking about the cow demons by the fence.

"You sure do have a lovely farm, Linds," Zee commented. "The animals here look well fed."

"Thanks," Lindsay responded. "Honestly, working on a farm was what gave me my love for animals and taking care of them. It is why my dream is to one day open and run my own animal sanctuary."

"Hmm, that does sound nice," Zee replied. A moment of quiet passed as Zee looked at Lindsay thoughtfully. "So… what do you think?"

"Think of what?" Lindsay asked her.

"About my brother dating Donna," Zee clarified. "You were quite shocked about the news. What do you really think about it?"

"Oh, gee I… well, I'll admit I am surprised about it," Lindsay said, a little nervous. "I never knew that Donna has a thing for Cross… but I am trying to be happy for them. They are my friends, after all. Though," she said as she looked down, rubbing her own arm. "I am a bit conflicted about it… among other things."

"What do you mean by that?" Zee asked her.

"It's… it's complicated right now," Lindsay responded. "I… I'm currently going through some things right now, about my… feelings."

Zee gave an understanding look as she patted Lindsay's shoulder. "Hey, I think I get it. I remember going through something similar."

"You do?" Lindsay asked her.

"Well, let me ask you this, and it's okay if you don't want to answer. But do those feelings involve anything, let's say… romantic?" Zee asked her and Lindsay gave her a nod. "Does it involve Cross? Or maybe… Emily?"

Lindsay gave a shy look, brushing her hair. "I… I guess I've been so confused by my own feelings about them. I don't know what to do…"

"Well, I think I get what you're feeling," Zee replied. "When I was young and figuring out that I was pansexual, I didn't know what to think or how to deal with it at first. But after consulting with my family and friends, I learned a lot about myself after some exploring, and of course some embarrassing moments through my dates. But ultimately I learned that whether it's a guy, girl, or enby, I'll happily settle for any of them."

Lindsay was quiet for a moment, thinking to herself. "Well, I haven't placed a label on my own sexuality yet…"

"You don't have to. Instead, you can explore your feelings and figure them out at your own pace," Zee encouraged. "Sure, there's a chance that you might fall flat on your face once or twice. But that's just part of discovering yourself. Take it from me, I've had a lot of embarrassing moments, but they were all necessary for me to figure myself out."

Lindsay considered Zee's words as she turned in Cross and Emily's direction, looking at the two longingly…

Later, in the Human Realm at Central Park, after rescuing Laura, and then King, from the zoo, the Hexsquad and Haley regrouped in the Square Garden.

"Are you alright, King?" Laura asked as she hugged him. "Those penguins gave you a beating."

"I'm good… though, I should be asking the same thing," King said as he hugged her back.

"I'm fine, I wasn't hurt, just scared," Laura admitted while turning to the witches and half-dragon girl. "Thank you for coming to save me, all of you."

"It's no problem, Laura," Willow responded. "We are just glad we were able to help you get out of that situation."

"Um, we haven't met before, but I'm Skara, Willow's girlfriend," Skara introduced herself while waving to Laura.

"And I'm Haley Long, co-guardian dragon of America," Haley introduced herself. "And I gotta say, love the look."

"Nice to meet you two, and thanks," Laura replied, nodding.

"So um, I know that things didn't go as planned, but are you still up for our little hang in seeing the Boiling Isles?" King asked her.

"Yeah, are you still up for the date?" Gus asked while King glared at him.

"Stop calling it that, Gus…" King muttered.

"I'd honestly still like to go to the Isles with you," Laura replied. "I'm not going to let this experience ruin my chance to see what your home realm is like. Hopefully not like this place…"

"Really? That's great!" King replied happily. "I can't wait to show you around!"

"Looks like the date continues," Gus said with a grin, much to King's annoyance.

"Augustus, I swear…" King said.

"Would you like to use the key, King?" Willow asked while pulling out the portal key.

"Sure," King said. "Let Eda know that me and Laura are going back to the Isles."

"Will do, and have fun on your date, King!" Skara added as Willow opened the portal door for them.

"Yeah, good luck, King and Laura!" Haley waved as King and Laura stood in front of the portal door.

King turned to Laura. "Nervous?"

"Nah, I think I'm getting used to this kind of stuff," Laura said as the two entered through the portal door…

The two ended up in the living room of the Owl House, where Kitsuni was waiting for them.

"Laura, thank the gods that you're alright." Kitsuni said in relief as the portal door closed behind King and Laura.

"Yeah, no thanks to that bear god that left me in a Human Realm zoo," Laura said with a glare.

"Yeah, how the heck did that happen, Kitsuni?" King asked, neither of them looking pleased. "I got ganged up on by penguins while saving her!"

"My apologies," Kitsuni responded. "Osik got the gateways mixed up. Turns out the Human Realm and the Demon Realm are much closer than we realized."

"I don't know what any of that means, but tell that Osik guy that he needs to be careful next time," Laura said sternly. "Cause I didn't know where I was and I almost felt just as trapped as I was back in the Underworld! Plus, King got hurt when rescuing me, so you owe both of us something, sister!"

"Yeah! Tell it like it is, Laura!" King said with his paws raised up.

Kitsuni nodded apologetically. "I am so sorry you two, really I am. I'll be sure that next time we will be careful-"

"HELLO!" Hooty shouted as he popped up, scaring Laura while stretching towards her. "You must be King's girlfriend that I've been hearing about! My name's Hooty! Hoot-Hoot!"

"King, what the hell is that?!" Laura exclaimed while King pushed Hooty aside.

"This is Hooty, our house guardian," King said. "Hooty, why don't you go bother those scouts with one of your stories!"

"Oh, sure, I'll leave you two alone," Hooty said with a smirk. "Have fun on your date, King…"

"Are… all owls like that?" Laura asked.

"Hooty's like, a bug demon house… whatever," King tried to explain. "But with that aside, I'd like to welcome you… to the Owl House! The place where I live!"

Laura looked around the living room. "Wow, I must say, this is a really great place you have here," she commented while noticing Eda's wanted poster proudly on display on the wall. "So your mom's, like, a wanted criminal?"

"Used to be, now she works at an orphanage," King mentioned while Laura noticed the duplicates of the Owl House residents bumping into walls. "Oh don't mind them, they're illusions created as a security measure. Just so the scouts think that everyone is still here."

"Scouts?" Laura asked him.

"He means the ones posted outside of the house," Kitsuni explained to her.

"It's a long story," King said. "But let me give you a grand tour around the house!"

And so, King began to show Laura around the Owl House, which included his room. "This is where I sleep," he said while Maurice ran up towards him, crawling on his arm. "This is Maurice, he's a baby demon squirrel that I've been taking care of. Maurice, this is Laura."

"Well hi there, Maurice," Laura greeted as the baby demon squirrel looked up at Laura. She raised her hand to pet him gently, which Maurice welcomed. "I guess he likes me."

"Yeah, he's friendly towards strangers," King said. "Oh, and that there is Jean-Luc," he added, pointing to the disabled creature lying in the corner of the room. "Honestly, I'm still not entirely sure what he is."

Next they entered Kay's room, where Laura looked at the lagoon child in awe. "Ooh, I've never seen a sea creature like this one before."

"That's Kay, she's a Lagoon Demon," King explained. "She's Amity's godsister and her family's currently incarcerated for rebelling against the Emperor's Coven, so Amity has been taking care of her since then. But after that incident with Mel, Amity had to hide out in the Human Realm for the time being. So it's just me, Luz, and Eda taking care of her."

"Oh, I feel sorry for both of them," Laura said while Kay swam up, smiling at the two. "She must miss her family very much…"

"Not really, she was only an egg when they got arrested," Bruce spoke up while leaning against the wall, shocking Laura.

"Gah!" a startled Laura cried out, backing away. "Did that bat just talk?!"

"Yeah… that's Brucy," King said. "Some of the objects around the house are alive, courtesy of Luz's re-animation glyphs."

"Oh… wait, did you say the objects around the house are alive?" Laura asked.

"Yeah, but they don't speak much. They just prefer to stand still like always. Less weird that way," King explained while noticing a familiar guitar lying in another part of the room. "Oh hey, Rocky, how's it going?"

"Eh, could be better, King," Rocky the guitar admitted. "But I see you're here with a date…"

"It's not a date, just to be clear. I am just showing Laura around the Isles," King clarified.

"Do you wish for me to sing a romantic melody? I know all the power ballads from the nineties," Rocky offered, but King and Laura were already walking away.

"No thanks! Let's continue on with the tour!" King declared.

Rocky watched them leave and gave a sigh. "Well… better here than the basement. At least Luz appreciates good music."

"We don't get a lot of screen time anymore, do we?" Brucy asked, frowning.

"Nope," Rocky responded. "But our time will come."

After showing Laura around the house, King brought her into town.

"Welcome to Bonesborough," King said while Laura looked around in awe. "It's pretty much my home town at this point."

"Wow, this place is very… medieval," Laura commented, seeing all the demons, witches, and other creatures making their way through the night. "It's very different from Zootopia."

"Zootopia… you know, maybe someday I could visit your home realm and bring my family along," King commented.

"Oh, yeah that would be nice, though I think your family would have a bit of trouble blending in there," she said while King showed her around. "Does that building have an eyeball?"

"Some do, some are just long arms," King said as he led her to the market. "We practically live in a large carcass."

"Good to know…" Laura said while seeing all the stands, King spotting one in particular.

"Yo, Mort! Tiny Nose!" King waved to them as Morton and Tiny Nose noticed King.

"King!" Morton and Tiny Nose greeted, seeing him and Laura walking up to them.

"Whoa, Morton, you got your stand back!" King commented.

"Yeah, thank to the Scal-Mart bust, I'm able to pay my rent now!" Morton exclaimed as he held up his flasks. "I'm back in business!"

"Who's your fwiend, King?" Tiny Nose asked.

"Guys, meet Laura," King introduced. "Laura, meet my friends Morton and Tiny Nose, or Tinelsa Nosa but everyone calls her Tiny Nose. We occasionally hang out every now and then."

"Nice to meet you guys," Laura replied. "It's nice to meet friends of King."

"Likewise," Morton responded. "Gotta say, King, you sure came a long way, because here you are, finally with a girlfriend!"

"Yeah! She's cute," Tiny Nose agreed.

"Oh, um she's not, really. Um… I'm just showing her around town," King said, stammering a bit. "Laura's… from out of town, so I'm showing her around before we go to grab something to bite."

"So what are your deals?" Laura asked them.

"Well, I'm in the Potions Coven so I make elixirs and potions for witches. Eda is pretty much my number one customer, even if her curse isn't that bad anymore," Morton explained.

"I'm into conspiracies!" Tiny Nose declared. "Like, do you think that we're all just puppets made by the gods who have created a simulation of this world by a typewriter?"

"Uh… no…" Laura replied.

"She's like this, a lot," King admitted.

Meanwhile, at the Drakescale home, Cross was now getting prepared for his date with Donna… with the help from his family.

"Alright, now remember Cross, no matter what make sure to give this Donna girl a good time," Clair told him, Cross now dressed with a green vest with a black button shirt, black dress, pants and boots. She helped him with his hair.

"I know, mom," Cross responded.

"This is your first date, son," Damien told him while handing him a corsage. "Here, have this corsage for her."

"Corsage?! Dad, I'm just going on a date with her, not to Grom," Cross insisted.

"You still want to make a good impression," Drayden argued. "Especially since that girl asked you out, which is understandable since we Drakescales are quite lookers."

"Yeah, and you got me to thank me for that," Zee added as Cross turned to her.

"What did you do?" Cross asked, narrowing his eyes at his sister.

"Well… I did talk to Donna and may have… suggested that she should get to know you better," Zee replied with a smile. "Probably planted the idea of dating you,"

"Oh Zee… you're an evil mastermind, you know that?" Cross told her. "You manipulated that poor girl!"

"Hey, I suggested that you two should hang out more," Zee said. "She asked if I meant if you two should date, I shrugged 'why not?'. Besides, you gotta admit she's pretty, don't you think?"

Cross blushed while turning away as Damien walked up to him.

"Oh don't mind your sister, Cross. She was just looking out for you," Damien told him while holding something. "But since you've been growing up and have done a lot of good, perhaps you're ready to have this now."

Cross looked down to see what his father was holding. To his shock it was… a red and orange phoenix Palisman.

"You're… giving me your Palisman?" Cross asked.

"Yes," Damien confirmed. "For years, Elio has been a companion to the Drakescale Clan since he was first carved. Passed down from your grandfather's grandfather, then to his mother, then grandpa received him himself and then passed on to me." He handed Elios to Cross, who held the phoenix Palisman. "What do you desire the most, Cross?"

Cross looked down at Elio with a serious expression. "Growing up, I've heard a lot of how witches of the past and dragonkind were at peace with each other," he said to the phoenix. "I want to someday rebuild those connections, get back to my roots… um, no pun intended." He smiled. "I want to make sure that my generation never goes back to that hatred, though I'm unsure of how they see dragons now, even though my school mascot is a dragon." He made eye contact with Elio. "But my deepest wish… is to protect those whom I care for. Sure, it's a bit cheesy, but I want to have the back of my friends and family and in turn I want them to have mine. And I never want to be afraid to do the right thing." Elio looked up at Cross, liking his protective nature before the phoenix Palisman flew up to him and changed into a witch's staff that landed in Cross's hands. Cross looked at his new staff, smiled, and then looked up at his father. "Thanks, dad, for giving me Elio."

"You're welcome, son." Damien responded, patting his shoulder. "Now then… you shouldn't keep your date waiting."

Cross proceeded to fly over to Metropelvis using Elio. He flew over to where the Masterskull mansion was, landing in the parkway.

"Alright, you can do this, Cross," he said to himself, looking at Elio who flew to his shoulder. "Do you think her folks will like me?"

"I'm sure they will," Elio responded. "After all, you do have a fiery personality."

"I wouldn't call it that," Cross said as he held up the corsage and walked up to the door. "Here goes nothing." He rang the doorbell and it screamed. Moments later Gladys opened the door.

"Oh you must be Cross," Gladys said with a smile. "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Mrs. Masterskull," Cross greeted.

"Why don't you come in?" Gladys asked, inviting him in. Cross stepped inside and saw Diana and Auggie standing next to the front door. "Donna! Your date is here!"

"I'm coming!" Donna responded from upstairs.

Cross turned to the family. "It's nice to meet you all. My name is Cross Drakescale," he said, extending his hand to Diana, who just gave him a stern look.

"Yeah, nice to meet you too," Diana responded, shaking his hand. "I'm Diana, and you've met my wife, Gladys. And over there is our butler and head of security, Auggie."

"Nice corsage you have there," Auggie said to Cross, his tone intense.

"Um, thank you, and once again it's nice to meet you all," he said, while getting some intense looks from Diana, Auggie, and even Gladys. They stared at him in silence, which made him nervous.

"So Cross, if that is your real name," Auggie spoke up, adjusting his shades. "What can you tell us about yourself?"

"Oh, well, I'm in the plant track at St. Epiderm," Cross said nervously. "So I specialize in plant magic."

"Oh, plant magic," Diana said. "Donna mentioned that you're a top student at that along with Veronica."

"Well, I don't want to brag…" Cross said before Diana interrupted him.

"So what do you intend to do with Diana during this date?" she asked him.

"Oh, um… I hope to show her a good time-"

"What kind of good time?" Auggie asked as his eyes narrowed. "You're not thinking of trying to marry her…"

"What? N-No!" Cross replied with a blush. "That did not cross my mind."

"Better not, cause the last guy that tried to marry her wasn't so lucky," Diana said with her arms crossed. "Truth is, we don't know you all that much, Cross. Hopefully you're not a witch full of secrets…"

"Um… well, I don't…" Cross said, wondering if they could see right through him.

"Now Cross," Gladys said, placing her hand on his shoulder "We're sorry for the questions. It's just… our little sweet Donna means the world to us. And we want to be sure that you don't have any… intentions that could hurt her…"

"I can assure you that I have no intentions to hurt Donna in any way," Cross said, trying to reassure the parents.

"Oh we hope so, because if she comes home crying or is even missing a shoe," Diana said, glaring at him like a lioness looking at her prey. "I can put you in a packaged toy box… sealed in… mint condition."

Cross gulped, trying to keep his cool. "G-Got it, ma'am."

"Alright, you guys don't have to interrogate him!" Donna shouted as she came downstairs.

All eyes turned to Donna and when Cross saw her… he was struck with awe.

Coming downstairs was the girl of the hour. Donna came down with a black bow that tied her hair a ponytail, with the end of the hair tied with a black band. But what really caught his attention about her appearance was the silk, black dress with gray sleeves and black wrist-cuffs. The dress's strap was connected to a choker, with a gray silk chest window. Her dress had a blue belt wrapped around her waist and her skirt was a bit short with a split on the side of her left leg. She also wore gray stockings with black strap high-heel boots. She held a black purse with her as she walked downstairs.

It left him speechless. While he knew that she was one of the most popular girls in St. Epiderm, Cross never thought she would look this gorgeous…

Donna, meanwhile, looked at Cross and saw how well he was dressed, admitting to herself that he did look handsome in that vest.

"Hey Cross," Donna greeted him. "You look nice."

"U-u-uh yeah," Cross replied shyly. "You look… great as well."

Donna smiled. 'Alright, just as you rehearsed… remember the line Eda taught you,' she thought as she placed her hand on her hip and pointed to him while giving him a wink. "Well face it lion, cause you just hit the scoreboard!"

Everyone in the room was confused by Donna's response. The whole room fell silent and Donna realized that she had never been this embarrassed in her life… well, except for that one incident in gym but she did not want to go back to that memory.

"It's 'face it tiger, you hit the jackpot'! That's what Eda said," Whirlwind whispered while flying behind Donna's hair.

"Oh…" Donna said in realization, her face blushing.

"Well, thanks for the… compliment… I think?" Cross said while rubbing the back of his head. "Oh um, here, I uh, got you this corsage," he said, handing it to Donna.

"Aw, thanks. You're so sweet," Donna said while wearing the corsage around her wrist. She noticed Elio. "Hey, is that your Palisman?"

"Oh uh, yeah," Cross said while holding Elio on his arm. "This is Elio, I just acquired him. He was passed down by my dad and my grandfather before him."

"Well it's nice to meet you, Elio," Donna greeted the phoenix Palisman, who chirped to her when she petted him. "He doesn't burst into flames, does he?"

"Nah… well, I don't think so," Cross said. "Probably only when I use my magic."

"Right," Donna responded while Whirlwind flew up. "Well, if you want we can use my Palisman, Whirlwnd, to head to the restaurant where I have reservations."

"Right," Cross agreed, looking away awkwardly.

"Well have fun you two, and Cross," Gladys said, intertwining her hands. "Be sure to take Donna back home on time."

"No later than ten," Diana warned him. "Or we send Auggie after you."

Cross turned to Auggie, who cracked his knuckles while glaring at him intensively. "Don't worry, I will have Donna be home safe," he said nervously.

"Come on, let's go," Donna said as she grabbed his hand and pulled him outside. She summoned Whirlwind to form into a staff and got Cross to sit behind her. "Hang on."

"Uh, right," Cross said while looking at Donna's waist. Carefully, he just… placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Bye moms! I'll be back before curfew!" Donna promised as they flew off from the mansion.

"Take care!" Gladys waved as she, Diana, and Auggie saw them off.

Once they were gone, Diana gave a sigh. "I do not like that dress she chose to wear," she admitted.

"I thought it looked cute," Gladys responded. "But Donna should have also worn a jacket…"

"Yeah… well, that reminds me, I really need to finish redesigning her Wonder Witch outfit," Diana said as she headed to her workroom.

Meanwhile, King was showing Laura more around Bonesborough, which included the Bonesborough Museum of Supernatural History.

"Wow, so this is what your museum is like," Laura commented while seeing the displays of prehistoric beasts.

"Yeah, my auntie used to work around here until, well, an undisclosed incident I'm not supposed to talk about," King said while showing Laura around. "But I think her baluster exhibit is still around."

"Baluster exhibit?" Laura asked him.

"Yeah, she's that kind of nerd," King said before he spotted Luz's cross-eyed statue. "Huh, surprised that they still have that."

Laura looked up at Luz's statue, then at the sign. "Is that what they believe humans are supposed to be like…?"

"Yeah, Luz did not like that statue one bit," King said while looking around, Laura spotting a display of the Titan.

"So you really do live in a corpse for a country…" Laura commented.

"Yeah, see, the Demon Realm was once filled with these huge and powerful beings called Titans," King explained as he showed Laura around. In addition to there being artist interpretations of the Titans, there were also maps of the Boiling Isles and other archipelagos from the Demon Realm. "And when they died, their bodies became landmasses, and witches and demons were born from the Titans. We call our home the Boiling Isles cause, well, the seas are boiling hot."

"Wait, so you all just… born from the carcass of a giant?" Laura asked. "Is that how your equivalent of the theory of evolution works?"

"What's evolution theory?" King asked her.

"Um… nevermind," Laura said with a shrug before an exhibit caught her eye. "So what's that over there?"

King turned to where she was pointing. "Huh, I guess we can check out the Coven Head Exhibit…"

The two entered the exhibit, where they saw portraits and illusion displays of the Coven Heads, old and recent. They see each displayed based off of the color hues on the walls.

"So what's the deal with these guys?" Laura asked.

"Well, the Head Witches are the ones that are in charge of the Covens, which represent the nine main types of magic," King explained. "They have a lot of authority and help to run the Isles and manage the witches in their Coven. They are hand-picked by our Emperor, who created the coven system to control magic."

They see one illusion display as it popped up, showing a previous Oracle Head, Delara Salstar.

"Delara Saltstar was the fourth Head Witch of the Oracle Coven," a voice spoke up. "She was well known for her empathy, which made her a popular if controversial Head Witch. A charitable Coven Head well liked by those under her Coven, she spoke out about helping all witches, even those who were covenless."

"Wow, she sounds nice," Laura commented.

"Yeah, Eda says that out of the Coven Heads, she considers this one okay," King states while bringing Laura to look at the other Coven Heads….

"Staggertarius Atos, second Head Witch of the Potions Coven. He was one of the most brilliant minds on the Boiling Isles, well known for coining the chaos magic theory along with many modern calculations and physics in witchcraft science," another voice spoke, explaining the illusion hologram of Staggertarius. "He is currently retired and was succeeded by Vitimir Weavil."

"Huh… he reminds me of Albert Einstoat," Laura commented.

"Einstoat?" King asked.

"He's kind of a super genius of some sort back in Zootopia," Laura explained as they moved on.

"Fara Craft was the third Head of the Beast Coven, a well known explorer and archeological adventurer. She was known to have found tons artifacts from Beyond the Isles donated into this very museum." Fara Craft is shown up in display "After one Emperor's Coven expedition, she mysteriously vanished..."

"Huh, an explorer." Laura comments "She's kind of a badass kind of gal."

"Yeah, my mom and Luz also goes on these adventures." King states as they move on to the next Head.

"Judy Goreland was the first Head of the Illusions Coven back when it was formed," a voice said about an illusion of a young witch woman with black hair in pigtails, blue eyes, white skin, and wore a light blue dress and red boots. "She was also a high profile actress of Titanwood, known for her roles of 'Witches of Witchtown' and 'Love and Cauldrons' before she became one of the Original Nine."

"The Original Nine… so they were the first Coven Heads?" Laura asked King.

"You know, maybe we can find out," King said as he found an information skull. "Hey skull, do you know what the original coven head line up was?"

The skull opened its ruby eyes. "Information is what you seek, for your curiosity is piqued. The original nine Heads is what you want to know? Well here it is, the Original Nine in a Row!"

Illusions went up displaying not only Judy Goreland, but Terra Snapdragon and the one named Scourge of the Beast-Keeping Coven. The rest of the nine were unknown to them.

"Scourge the Witch Viking, Head of the Beast-Keeping Coven. Known famously as a warmonger who took down the Grand Serpent! A viking witch known for his brutality!" the skull explained, the illusion depicting a viking witch man wearing a beast-like cowl over his head. He had a stern look with a bare spike chin, a grown loincloth and fur boots, and was under an orange glow.

"Dr. Naga Venomstrike," the skull said, referring to a yellow glowing display of a slim witch man with long black hair, pale skin with yellow snake-like eyes and a snake-like mouth. He wore a long yellow lab coat, a black corset, black leather shorts, fishnet leggings and black go-go boots, with a white tail. "First Head of the Potions Coven, known for his high-profile study of alchemy, his longing for immortality, and his midnight floor shows which showed off his flamboyant personality."

Next a blue glow showed a dark-skinned witch man who had black shaved hair, glasses, and a navy-blue full body suit. He was holding a medical kit and had white gloves and black boots. "Head Witch Karlos Green of the Healing Coven. A well known pacifist that never said no to a challenge. He was a skilled, high-profiled medic responsible for saving the lives of many scouts."

Next a lavender glow showed a purple witch man with a long, white beard and blue long hat. He was wearing a purple robe and pink shoulder sash. "Prague the Crafter, first Head of the Abominations Coven. He was quite famous for his Abomination craftsmanship and philosophy, believing that Abominations were one's true companion in the coven."

Next a purple glow showed a slim, brown-skinned witch man who wore a purple turban and had a long white beard. He was shirtless, but had white baggy pants and a purple sash around his waist. He was also barefooted and held up a crystal of some sort while tapping to his mind. "Zoltar the Magnificent, first Head of the Oracle Coven. He claimed to be telepathically connected to a human from the Human Realm. Tragically, he died in a horrible and gruesome manner involving his body getting crystallized entirely."

Another illusion showed a young witch demon hybrid boy with white curly hair, one horn sticking out, gray skin, and three pink eyes. He wore a red coat with a blue button shirt, brown furred goat legs, and tail. "Scarmadeus Keys was the youngest Head of the Bard Coven. A very well known prodigy of bard magic, especially with his talents on the piano. He was rumored to have been a crackpot genius."

Finally a brown glow appeared around a brown haired witch man with tanned skin, brown eyes, and a short-stature. He sported a beard and wore a yellow helmet, a brown poncho, and dark clothing. He had a utility belt and held a large hammer. "Brad Tholomule, First Head of the Construction Coven. He was responsible for constructing most of the buildings of Bonesborough, as well as having built the Emperor's Castle with his hard, laboring hands. He was known to have used boulders like sandbags."

"Wow… they all sound interesting in their own way," Laura said. "Magic isn't a thing from where I'm from."

"I figured," King admitted as they watched the illusions fade into their successors… except for one.

"Wait, what is her deal?" Laura asked, pointing to Terra Snapdragon's illusion.

"Yeah, she's been a Coven Head since the beginning," King said as the info skull started to explain.

"Terra Snapdragon," the voice spoke up while showing a young Terra Snapdragon. "First and so far only Head of the Plant Coven, currently she is the last of the Original Nine. While her handiwork can be found all over the Isles, she has a chaotic streak and is very vocal with her hatred of the youth."

"Yeah, she tried to attack Luz once during the Coven Day Parade, but was stopped," King explained. "Mom also had an unpleasant experience with her when she was still in school."

"Sounds like a nasty old lady," Laura said before she spotted a large mural. "And that would be the Emperor, right?"

"Yup." King said, seeing the mural depicting Belos with the original nine Heads, creating the coven system together. "Belos has been our leader for about fifty plus years, way before mom and Aunt Lilith were born. He got everyone to believe that you have to join one of nine covens to learn proper magic, while those who don't join are branded as wild witches. Sure, the covens may have their benefits, but it comes with the catch of sealing off the rest of your magic, which robs witches of their own magical potential."

"Yikes," Laura responded. "Honestly, this kinda reminds me of a time in my world where predators had to wear 'tame collars', aka shock collars, when they reached a certain age. But laws were eventually passed against them because of how inhumane they were."

"We do have something like that here in the Isles. But they are only used for criminals," King admitted.

"Oh, that makes sense," Laura replied.

After they finished looking through the exhibits, they left the museum together. "So you haven't talked a lot about how things have been for you since you returned home. Is everything okay? And how is your family?"

"Well, they're pretty good and were really glad to see me again," Laura responded while looking down. "I told them where I've been, even if it's kinda unbelievable. Though I didn't tell them about what I had to eat to survive in the Underworld…"

"Hey, I'm sure that they won't think of you any differently if they did know what you have to go through," King said, trying to reassure her.

"Thanks, King," Laura responded. "But right now, the only other person who knows about it is my therapist. She has been helping me recover from my time at the Underworld. She… took my story surprisingly well."

"That's good to hear," King said. "So what is your world like? The whole predators and prey thing, what's that about?"

"Well, I live in a world where the dominant species that I suppose you would call anthropomorphized," Laura explained. "I live in a metropolis called Zootopia, which is divided into several districts like the Sahara Square for the desert mammals, Tundratown for the polar mammals, Little Rodentia for the smaller mammals, and the Rainforest District for the rainforest mammals, which is where most of the otters, including my family, lives."

"That sounds interesting," King said. "So like, do you guys have some form of religion? Around here we worship the Titan…"

"Oh we have tons of religion, like we do believe in a God, and we have a Dalai Llama," Laura began to explain to him.

Later, King brought Laura to a restaurant.

"This is it, Laura," he declared as they entered before he spotted Nina, Lambi, Donna, and Cross "Hey, I know you guys!"

"King?" Donna said, seeing Eda's son. "Hey, you've made dinner reservations here?"

"Yeah, I'm here with my friend, Laura. She's… from out of town," King explained. "Laura, this is Donna, and the werecat is Nina, and the guy over there is Cross, and… Lambi, right?"

"Yes," Lambi said, nodding.

"Wow, so did you guys come here together or something? Like a double date?" King asked them.

The two couples looked at each other awkwardly. "Actually, separate. We're just as surprised to see Donna and Cross here," Nina clarified.

"Y-Yeah, just as surprised," Donna replied, hiding that she was aware that Nina would be here. She turned her focus to Laura. "And it's nice to meet you, Laura."

"Thanks, Donna." Laura replied, shaking her hand. "And I must say, that is a very stylish dress, who are you wearing?"

"Why thank you, and it's one of Eda's," Donna replied.

"Oh that explains it," King responded. "It does look like something my mom would wear."

"You got that from the Owl Lady?" Nina asked her, seeing Donna's dress which made the werecat feel… aroused, though she didn't show it. "Isn't that a bit too… revealing?"

"Well, I just think I look good in black," Donna replied innocently.

"I'll admit, you do look nice in that dress, Donna," Lambi complimented.

"Why thank you, Lambi," Donna said with a smile.

"Hi there," spoke the manager of the restaurant. "My name is Lori, the manager of this establishment. Did you all come here as a party?"

"Oh no, we're just separate," Cross said.

"Yeah, we've made some reservations for the tables," Nina added.

"Well since you all made reservations here, and already know each other, why don't I group you all into one table to share!" Lori the manager suggested.

"What? Oh no, that won't be necessary…" Nina said.

"But I insist!" Lori replied with an unhinged smile. "After all, what's better than eating here at the establishment with your friends?"

"Uh… Donna, you made the reservations, is this alright to you?" Cross asked her.

"I… don't mind if we share a table," Donna replied. "Might make things easier."

Nina turned to Lambi. "What do you think, Lambi?"

"Well, maybe sharing a table won't be too bad," Lambi responded.

"Yeah, I mean, what can go wrong?" Laura asked.

"Great! Follow me to your table! You know, I used to wait tables before I became manager," Lori declared. "Though I haven't been the same since the fires…"

And so, Donna, Cross, Lambi, Nina, King, and Laura all ended up sharing a table. While King and Laura looked at their menus, the teens could feel this awkward atmosphere.

"Ooh, they have cheese fries here," King said while reading the menu. "What would you be getting, Laura?"

"I think I'll have a salad," Laura responded. "I'm pretty much a vegan now."

Meanwhile, in the Bonesborough marketplace, a familiar fox biped was looking over a list he had been given by Felicity while holding some groceries.

"Alright, now all I need are… scalmond milk, eyeballs, this specific brand of coffee brew and… hair growth elixirs," Todd read from the list. "Why does she need that many hair beauty products?" However, as he kept walking and looking at the list, he bumped into someone. "Oof!" he said, causing him to stumble to the floor.

"Hey, watch where you're… going," spoke the person he bumped into, Kitsuni. She turned and saw that Todd had fallen to the ground, with the things spilling out from his grocery bag. "Oh, I'm so sorry."

"Nah, it's my bad," Todd replied while picking up some of the stuff that spilled out.

"Here, let me help you," she offered, kneeling down to help pick up his stuff.

"No, I got-" he said as he went to pick up a piece of fruit at the same time Kitsuni went to pick it up. Their hands touched. "O-Oh, um… sorry about that," Todd said while looking up to Kitsuni, who picked up the fruit for him. When he gets a look at her…

"Here," Kitsuni said as she handed him the fruit. Todd was still awestruck of Kitsuni, who was confused by the way he looked at her. "Are… you okay?"

"I… um… uh…" Todd was at a loss of words.

"I hope I didn't hurt your head," Kitsuni said while helping him up.

"My head's fine!" Todd stammered. "I-I-I mean, um, I'm fine, really," he said shyly. "So um… never thought of seeing another fox biped around here…"

"Well, I have met a few, including one of my students back at Hexside," Kitsuni admitted.

"Wait, you're a teacher?" Todd asked her.

"I'm a recent hire," Kitsuni clarified.

"Oh, well it's just that a co-worker's daughter that I know attends Hexside," he explained. "You probably knew her as Felicia…"

"Yes, Felicia Fox. I know of her," Kitsuni confirmed. "And you must be…?"

"Todd!" he announced before clearing his throat. "Todd Tweed, a reporter… well, assistant reporter."

"And I am Kitsuni," Kitsuni introduced herself, using her magic to pick up Todd's things and place them into the grocery bags. "I am sorry for making you drop your stuff, Todd."

"Oh, it… it's fine," Todd reassured her. "These are for my boss. You probably heard of her…"

"Felicity? Yeah, we've met once," Kitsuni admitted. "I found her very unpleasant, no offense."

"Oh, none taken," Todd nodded while looking at Kitsuni. "So um… I guess I'll see you around, then… but if you want, we could um… have coffee brew sometime?"

"Well… if you're not busy, I am up for a drink right now," Kitsuni suggested.

Later at a bar where Kitsuni had brought Todd to have some drinks, Todd had taken a sip of apple blood while Kitsuni drank hers. Unlike her, Todd turned out to be a lightweight.

"Y-You know, when… when I joined the Oracle Coven, I thought I would b-be finding and getting to the truth of a g-good story as an ace reporter!" he declared. "A-A-And when I met Felicity, she got me t-t-the job at the station in the Media Coven. But I didn't know how insufferable that witch was!"

"Sounds like you've had a bad history with her," Kitsuni replied.

"Y-You wouldn't believe how unethical she can be!" Todd revealed. "And you know, her last name isn't even Fox. It's just short for 'Fauxworm', like not even spelled 'fox', just 'faux' as in F-A-U-X, which is fitting considering her personality!" he declared while giving a tired sigh. "Meeting her was the worst mistake I've ever made… except for maybe sleeping with her."

"You two… were in a relationship?" Kitsuni asked him.

"Nah, a one-night stand," Todd admitted. "Though, she told me, no, threatened me to never bring that up again… so uh… you wouldn't tell anyone I said that, right?"

"Don't worry, your secret's safe," Kitsuni reassured her, patting his back.

"Thanks, Kitz…" Todd said, starting to enjoy Kitsuni's company.

Meanwhile, at the Mystic Arts Coven, Calypso and Slasher Brooke were making their public appearance at an art gallery event. As they looked around, they saw Emperor's Coven officials and a few other Head Witches amongst the attendees, along with some artists.

"It is an honor to have you here, Head Witch Brooke," thanked Peter Bloomhog. "You along with Head Witch Napoli should be able to help boost my artistic status."

"Yes, that is a… interesting display you have," Calypso commented, seeing a bunch of tires grouped together to look like an Abomination.

"You are quite skilled as an artist," Slasher complimented

"Why thank you, that means so much," Peter said with a bow.

"Hi, Head Witch Brooke," spoke up Napoli, who caught the attention of the Brookes. With him was a young robust witch woman with dark skin, blond wavy hair, blue eyes, and a black leather jacket with a red corset, black leather pants and black boots. "Great to see you here. Have you met my wife, Mosquita?"

"What's up, y'all," Mosquita greeted, shaking Calypso's hand. "You must be Head Witch Brooke, and you are slaying that dress today."

"Thank you, it is great to meet you, Mosquita," Calypso responded. "Meet my husband, Slasher."

"Slasher Brooke? Oh yeah, my homegirl Grandy had a record contract with you once," Mosquita recalled.

"Yeah, I did some records with her," Slasher confirmed.

"We also brought my new aide Tito with us since we thought he could use an outing," Napoli said as he pointed to Tito, who was looking at a painting while eating snacks.

"So how are your kids doing?" Mosquita asked.

"They're doing fine," Calypso said. "Nina and Skara are out right now while Scabrina's being watched over by my daughter's friends. I am sure they are all having lovely times."

"Well, that's great to hear," Mosquita replied.

"Yes, lovely to hear indeed," said a voice.

All turned to see Terra Snapdragon walking over to them. With her was a blue-skinned biped tick demon with an overly large chin, black wavy hair, and a green hat. He also wore a green vest with green cuffs and green shorts.

"Calypso." Terra spoke up. "Tell me, how was your little talk with Belos?"

"It went great, actually," Calypso responded confidently. "I let him know that I'm on board with his plans for the Day of Unity and we both came to an understanding, so everything has been all cleared up."

"Oh wow, that's good for you," said the blue tick demon. "Hi, name's Patrick, I'm Head Witch Snapdragon's latest aid. Yup, every few months or weeks, she gets a new aid… I'm the latest one, 33rd… they say that I've lasted the longest."

"Nice to meet you," Slasher responded, shaking his hand.

"Oh yes, Patrick has been a big help in the Plant Coven since I picked him from the institution," Terra said while patting Patrick on the shoulder. "No matter what errands I threw at him, he always came out strong as ever."

"I also make a mean spinach cuff. I left some on the food tables, if anyone would like some," Patrick offered.

"Thanks for the offer," Calypso told him politely. "Though right now, me and Slasher want to check out the other exhibits."

"Well take good care," Terra waved while Calypso escorted Slasher away from the Plant Head. As they turned their backs, Terra narrowed her eyes at Calypso…

"I can't stand that woman…" Calypso whispered to her husband once they were out of earshot. As they walked, they passed by a pale skinned figure wearing a black cloak and top hat. He glanced at Calypso and Slasher, while taking a sip of a cup of blood.

Terra noticed the black hatted figure and gave him a smile…

Later, while looking at the other artwork, the Brookes met up with the Bard scout, Megan Brimstone.

"It's an honor for you to check out my art," Meg commented while showing her art to them. "If there's anything you like, just let me know."

"Well your art does look good," Slasher commented.

"Yeah, I think we'll buy one of them," Calypso added, making Meg smile.

"Really? Thanks!" Meg responded enthusiastically.

"Hey, if you like her art, wait until you see mine!" spoke a short witch kid with ginger hair, brown skin, and a bandage wrapped around his head. He wore a blue long-sleeve shirt, orange pants, and gray boots. "Behold, the works of I, Vincent Van Pierce, that are up on display for the Coven Heads to see!" he declared dramatically. "Do you like it? It's good, isn't it?"

The Brookes looked at his oil paintings, Slasher nodding. "They look real good, young man."

"Yeah, especially the… ear," Calypso commented, noticing the framed ear. "Is… that your ear?"

"Relax, I got like, five of them left," he said while Vanessa Pierce walked over.

"Sorry about my nephew, he can be… extreme," Vanessa said.

"Vanessa? It's been a while," Calypso commented.

"Yeah, I remember you and your little team of mystery solvers," Slasher added. "Now look at you, an actress."

"Oh I don't do much acting right now," Vanessa responded dismissively. "I own a movie memorabilia shop these days."

"Well, at least you've done a lot for yourself over the years," Calypso commented.

While the Brookes caught up with Vanessa, Megan saw Grip walking up to her. "Hey, have you seen Napoli and Mosquita around?" he asked.

"Yeah, they passed by a while ago," Meg responded. "Even met Napoli's new aid."

"Yeah, he seems like an alright guy," Grip commented while looking down awkwardly. "So uh, how's your night going?"

"Pretty great, actually," Meg replied with a smile. "I haven't been in a good mood like this in a while. This night's really going great so far."

"Um… you sure about that?" Grip asked her.

"Uh yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Meg asked while Grip became nervous.

"Oh uh, no reason," he reassured her, but Meg narrowed her eyes..

"Alright, Grip, what aren't you telling me?" Meg demanded to know.

Grip sighed, he knew that he couldn't keep it a secret much longer ."Alright… a little head's up… Le'Belle, Venoma, and Alburno are here."

"Those guys are here?!" Meg asked and Grip nodded. She gave a stressful sigh. "Just great…"

After the Brookes left, Vanessa went to talk to her nephew. "Well Vincent, you certainly have impressed them today."

"But they didn't buy my art…" Vincent said sadly. "Maybe if I cut out my other ear…"

"We really need to talk to your parents about seeking a therapist," Vanessa said while noticing someone else at the gallery. She narrowed her eyes at him.

"What's the matter, auntie?" Vincent asked her.

"Just saw another familiar face," Vanessa explained. "One I hoped to never see again…"

Meanwhile, Slasher and Calypso were talking with Vitimir. "So where is your aid?" the Potions Head asked, while Ruby stood alongside him looking at the artwork.

"I gave her the day off," Calypso admitted. "She hasn't been feeling well for a while."

"Hmm, must be because of the news about Steve's defection," Vitimir suggested. "After all, I think they dated."

"What? How would you know that?" Calypso asked him.

"Because you don't have access to all the hottest gossip," Vitimir pointed out. "One of the best things about being a Head Witch."

While Calypso and Vitimir talked, Slasher noticed one painting that caught his eye. It was a painting of a forest landscape, with a large, black wolf, walking between the trees. This image gave him pause as he remembered something.

A young Slasher Brooke had just left the Bard Coven, holding up a record. On his shoulder was a grown flea Palisman.

"Ain't it great, Fleabag?" Slasher asked, holding up a record. "Once they release my song, I'm going to make enough snails to support my folks!" he declared happily, thinking that things were finally going to go right for him

"Help… someone…" said a voice.

Slasher paused as he and his Palisman looked into an alleyway. He saw a witch laying down by some trash cans. "Oh man… sir, are you alright?"

"Need… help…" he told him as Slasher came closer.

"Don't worry, I'll call the healing coven for-AAH!" Slasher was backhanded by the stranger. He and Fleabag fell on the ground. When Slasher looked up, he saw the huge witch standing over him, "What… I thought you're hurt?"

"Oh I just got better," he said as he raised his own boot and brought it down on Slasher, knocking him out.

Slasher started to open his eyes, finally waking up. "Ugh… what… where am I?" he asked as he found himself in a deep pit of some sort. "What… what the hell is this?! Where am I?" He looked around and didn't see his Palisman. "Fleabag!"

"Up here…"

Slasher looked up, his eyes widening as he saw the same witch that knocked him out. In his hand was Fleabag. "You… let go of Fleabag right now!"

"Oh I will… if you do one thing for me," Lupe said while kneeling over the edge of the pit. "Transform…"

"What…?" he asked.

"You heard me… transform and you can have your Palisman back," Lupe responded. "I know you're a werewolf, Brooke. I know what your clan is…"

Slasher backed away. "I-If I transform, would you give Fleabag back?"

"Yes, just transform!" Lupe barked at him.

Slasher sighed and started to transform. His fur resembled his hair, black with underbelly. His clothes managed to remain intact. "There, now please let Fleabag go…"

"Hmm… you have such a good form, and a well groomed coat," Lupe complimented. "Alright, I'll let your Palisman go," he said while raising Fleabag up.

"Oh, thank Tita-"

CRUSH!

Slasher's eyes widened at what he saw. Lupe's grip on his Palisman had crushed him instantly. Slasher watched as the green essence left the Palisman, causing him to start to shake. "F-Fleabag…?"

"Oops," Lupe said with a sadistic grin as he opened his hand, the pieces of Fleabag falling into the pit. "I guess I put him out of his misery…"

"You… you bastard!" Slasher snarled, kneeling down while gripping the ground. "Why did you do that?!"

"Just want to see how you'd react," Lupe responded casually.

"Why are you doing this?! Are you one of those lycan hunters?!" Slasher demanded.

"Nah, I'm not like them," Lupe said with another grin. "Because I'm a lycan myself…"

"What…?" Slasher asked, only to see Lupe transform into a werewolf. "You…"

"Call me… the Big Bad Wolf," Lupe declared. "And I'm going to keep you in there until you give in to your natural instincts, like a real lycan!"

"What?! Why?!" Slasher asked.

"Boy, you sure do ask 'why' a lot, don't you?" Lupe pointed out. "To say the least, every lycan witch I've met has decided to be 'well behaved', everyone's gotten so pussyfooted since the Emperor took over, they refuse to embrace their inner beast and it makes me sick!" he shouted as he looked down at his prisoner. "So, I'm going to try to make you give in to your instincts whether you like it or not. And trust me on this, you'll like being an animal! Because like me, you will be able to do as you please, without morality holding you back." He chuckled. "You'll learn soon enough. Or you'll die first… but not before I have my fun."

Throughout his stay in the pit, Slasher was put through various tortures.

One time, Slasher was asleep in the pit when he felt raw meat being dumped into him. He coughed as he got up, seeing Lupe dumping raw meat and bones into the pit.

"Better eat up!" Lupe declared. "I had to kill some scout who was onto me. Then I grinded him up just for you!"

"What?!" Slasher exclaimed, seeing a skull on the ground. "AAAAAAAH!" he screamed in a panic.

Later, Slasher let the raw meat sit around him. It was starting to spoil. He couldn't eat the remains of another witch. So Lupe instead dumped some wild animals into the pit. "What… what's with all the animals!?"

"Your breakfast, lunch, and dinner!" Lupe declared while holding up a demon piglet. "You better eat up before they eat you! It is kill or be killed!"

"But I don't want to hurt these animals…" Slasher said as he backed away, the wild demons cornering the poor witch. "YAAAHHH!" he screamed as they began to slash and claw him.

A week had passed and Slasher continued to be covered in more trash, including mud and shit. Slasher hasn't gotten a bath and Lupe took a whiff at him.

"Fucking hell! You smell worse than roadkill!" Lupe said as he dumped more buckets of shit on him "You need a bath!"

Next, Lupe came back with a hot barrel. He looked down, saw Slasher covered in mud and more shit. The pit was starting to smell.

"Forget a bath, time to flame out the smell!" Lupe declared, pouring out flaming hot coal into the pit.

The hot coal hit Slasher. "AH! Ow! Quit it!" he cried out while his skin felt the burns from the coal.

Another week has passed and Slasher was starting to starve. Lupe just sat on a chair next to the edge of the pit while eating a piece of his poach. Slasher looked up to him. "Please… at least let me eat something…"

"Have you decided to embrace who you are yet?" Lupe asked, looking down at the poor witch. He smiled. "I didn't think so."

Later, a boiling rain came. To protect his prisoner from the rain, Lupe covered the pit with a large board. However, there were still parts of the top where bits of the acidic rain dripped into the pit. Slasher had to avoid these drips as best as he could, though some still managed to hit him, making Slasher wince in pain.

Lupe was out that time, so Slasher had to spend the night alone in the pit with the leaks…

"Someone… help me…" Slasher said, tears leaking from his eyes.

Weeks had passed. Slasher hadn't heard from his captor in some time. He looked up the pit, determined to finally escape this hellhole. Despite the state he was in, Slasher knew that if he wanted to be free from the pit, he had to do it now.

Using his claws, he tried to scale the walls of the pit. He had tried before to little success, but now he was finally able to mark a route up the wall and scale it without falling. Despite his weakened condition, his perseverance paid off as he pulled himself out of the pit and looked around. He was in the forest, far from town. He was free…

"Finally," he said as Slasher ran far, far away from the pit.

Back in the present, Slasher looked uncomfortable by the painting, only being snapped out of it when he heard his wife speaking to him.

"Hon, are you alright?" Calypso asked him in concern.

"Just… reminded of something," Slasher responded.

Back at the triple date table, the group of six were still in an awkward state. They had been waiting for their order, so they tried to make some small talk.

"So… I gotta ask," Laura spoke up. "Nina, right? You're part cat, right?"

"...yeah?" Nina asked her in confusion.

"Alright, so I hope you don't mind me asking this," Laura said. "But I've never seen a female feline with a mane before. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but were you born-"

"Oh, you mean my hair?" Nina asked, pointing to her hair. "Yeah, it kinda does look like a mane. Honestly, I just let my hair grow out and then tie it into locks."

"Oh… so all female cats have manes… or hair?" she asked.

"Werecats, cat demons, they got hair," Nina replied while looking at Laura in confusion. "What did you say you're from again?"

"Out of town…" Laura replied. "You know, from the… Square."

"What, like the Toe Square?" Nina asked.

"Yeah! The Toe Square…" Laura replied nervously, hoping Nina bought it.

"Well… that's nice," Nina responded. "So have you never met a werecat before?"

"Yeah, I don't get out much…" Laura said before she noticed the collar around Nina's neck. She decided not to ask about it, though she remembered what King had said…

Lambi looked at Donna, decided she wanted to try to start a conversation. "So… Donna, um… it's nice to get to know a fellow Healer."

"Yeah, same," Donna replied.

"So what can you tell me about yourself?" Lambi asked her. "I mean, Nina told me a little about you. But not too much."

Donna smiled. "Well, in my spare time I do volunteer work for the Healing Coven General and the Scooter Crane Orphanage."

"Oh, that sounds very nice," Lambi replied.

"What about you? What do you like to do?" Donna asked her.

"Well, I have thought about trying sports, but I haven't committed to anything. Often I do help my mom out at our temple," Lambi explained. "My mom's a Shaman and she made me one of the ushers, helping people to their seats at the beginning of the services. That is actually how I first met Nina."

"Wow, really?" Donna asked as Lambi drank her water. "So… what about your dad? Or your other mom? What do they do?"

Lambi looked surprised by the question as she finished drinking. "Um… my dad… not much to talk about," she tried to claim, the subject making her uncomfortable. "But… since you volunteer at the Healing Coven General, do you often shadow the doctors there?"

"Oh yeah, all the time," Donna replied, noting that Lambi was avoiding the topic of her dad. "I sometimes shadow Dr. Pox and let me tell you, he's not easy to work for…"

While the girls talked amongst themselves, Cross and King were left looking at each other. After a period of awkward silence, Cross decided to start up a conversation.

"So um… how are you… doing… King?" Cross asked.

"Oh I'm doing good, thanks for asking," King responded.

"How are your folks, like uh… your mom, and Lilith…" Cross asked him.

"Oh they're doing fine," King said. "Mom's visiting some old friends right now while my Aunt Lilith's been taking more time for herself in light of all the recent controversy. I haven't seen her much this week, but I know I am going to see her next week at something I'm really excited for, since I'm finally going to meet my extended family at the Clawthorne Clan Reunion."

Cross's eyes widened at that. "Oh, that's… great," he replied. "So um… how much do you know about your extended family…?"

"Well, I went ahead and asked Beocrow and Grandpa Dell about what kind of family to expect. Gramps mentions his brother Brolin Clawthorne is the richest Clawthorne and Beo's grandpa, owning a griffin ranch up at Palm Stings, and apparently there are vampire cousins that live in the neck. Oh, and Gwendma did mention some distant cousins… but I'm' really excited to meet all of them!"

"Really…" Cross said, looking slightly uncomfortable and nervous about the subject.

"By the way, I have been meaning to ask you this but how did you and Lindsay deal with the whole Em-weh!" King didn't finish, Cross quickly having his mouth covered.

"Embezzler problem? Yeah! We took care of that embezzler!" Cross responded with a nervous laugh. "Yup, nothing that we couldn't handle, heh." He noticed that the rest were looking at him weirdly.

"Well… that's great, Cross," Donna congratulated.

"Food's here!" spoke the waiter as they came over with a tray of food. "Cheesy fries and a fruit salad for the small demon dog and the otter. A carbs and gluten-free plate for the silver in black, and a plate of mashed potato charcoal with a side of steak for her date. And finally, the fish tacos and bat wings for the cat and the lamb. Also, a basket of bottomless fries for the whole group!" the waiter said while handing the plates to everyone, including the basket of bottomless fries. "Enjoy your meal, and please leave a five star rating after."

"The service here is great," King said as he grabbed a cheesy fry.

"Yeah, this looks tenderizing," Laura said, glad that her salad didn't have any meat on it.

Cross ate the charcoal, which Nina noticed. "Huh, never seen someone who eats charcoal."

"Honestly, I'm just as surprised this is on the menu," Cross commented.

"He always eats charcoal back at St. Epiderm," Donna mentioned as she ate her meal. "I don't know why but I'll admit, you do make it look cool."

"Um… thanks," Cross replied, his face having a light blush. "I mean, it's just something that I eat…"

Nina, while seeing Donna talking to Cross, couldn't help but be distracted by how she looked. The werecat tried to not notice Donna's ample curves being shown off by the dress, tried to not check her out. But that was getting increasingly harder and was making the werecat uncomfortable…

Back at the art gallery, Graye had gone over to the bar and had just downed a shot. He slammed the glass cup down. "Another, please!"

"I don't know, Head Witch Graye, I think you've had enough," the bartender responded.

"I'll tell you when I had enough!" Graye shouted before he heard someone behind him.

"Hello, Walter."

Graye's eyes widened when he heard that name. He sighed. "I don't go by that name anymore… Pierce," he replied, turning around to look at Vanessa Pierce, who gave him a glare. "Why the sour expression? Jealous that I've made it farther than you ever could? Are you still up in that movie shop of yours in Lokitown?!"

But as Vanessa looked more closely at the Illusion Head, she noticed the bag over his eyes and how his hair looked a bit unkempt. He also looked like he hadn't shaved for a while. "Adrian… you don't look well," she said while noticing the empty glasses on the bar. "Have you been drinking?"

"A few drinks won't hurt me," Graye said while turning to the bartender. "Hey! Where's my apple blood?!"

"Adrian… what happened that got you like this?" Vanessa asked him in concern.

"Like you'd care…" Graye said while lying his head on the counter.

"Believe it or not, I do care, Adrian," Vanessa said while patting his back. "Right now, I'm speaking to you as an old friend."

"Friends… who needs them," Graye muttered. "They always hurt you…"

Vanessa looked down at him and sighed. Despite her anger toward him, she still couldn't help but pity him. "Here, let me help you get out of here," she offered, hanging his arm around her shoulder as she pulled him away from the bar.

Meanwhile, Megan thanked another passerby for complimenting her art. But all her joy washed away when she spotted a certain trio walking towards her.

"Well, well, if it isn't Meg," spoke Venoma Heathens, who was in a purple, one-strap mid-length dress and heels. With her was Alburno, who wore a violet-red suit with a black tie and black boots. Le'Belle, of course, was also with them, and was wearing a yellow, bubble-sleeve dress that reached to her knees and gray heels. "It's been a long time, hasn't it? Looks like you're here showing off your… unique, artistic talents."

"Venoma," Meg muttered while noticing Le'Belle. She rubbed her arm. "Hey, Le'Belle…"

Le'Belle looked at Meg, their eyes meeting before they glanced away. There was a certain… tension between them. "Hey… Megan. How have you been… doing, lately?"

"Oh, pretty good," Meg responded. "I was assigned to a certain post but everyone slowly left, including me. Which is why I get to show up here…"

"That's… great," Le'Belle said with a weak smile.

"I um… like your dress," Meg complimented. "You really look good in it and I think the color suits you."

"Yeah, I thought I'd look better in something other than gray," Le'Belle admitted, the two briefly making eye contact again, causing a bit of blush to show on both of their faces.

"So… what brings you all here?" Meg asked.

"Well we're here on behalf as members of B.I.G.," Alburno explained. "As ordered by Head Witch Reisender and our new leader, the original Golden Guard." He pointed in a direction where Meg saw Abel with Hunter.

"Enjoying yourself, Hunter?" Abel asked Hunter, who was out of uniform and wearing a yellow suit, tie, and black shoes.

"Y-yes, sir," Hunter responded while looking around. "Glad I at least get to go out… even if I don't want to be here."

Meg got a good look at Hunter. "Wow, I never thought that the Golden Guard would look… so small."

"Yeah, I heard some rumors that he was recuperating with our old boss… Lilith," Venoma mentioned before grinning. "You know, it's kinda funny, how you and Lilith have a lot in common…"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Meg asked, glaring as Venoma walked up close to her.

"I mean, both of you have the gothic 'bad girl' look that does draw certain attention," Venoma said while looking Meg over, like a predator towards her prey. "You both are as pale as paste, and not to mention broody all the time…" She flicked a strand of Meg's hair. "It's a bit… similar." She got up to Meg's space, making her back away. "And then there is what happened last week… boy do I feel bad for poor, dear Alador… I think Le'Belle can relate to that, can you, Lib?"

Le'Belle turned her head away, having fallen into silence.

"After all, Meg did kiss your boyfriend back then, a betrayal of your friendship," Alburno spoke up, patting Le'Belle's shoulder. "Though in the long run, it did expose how Judd wasn't good for you as a boyfriend, much like how Meg wasn't a good friend to you."

"But hey, at least she isn't the most infamous homewrecker in the Boiling Isles anymore," Venoma declared with a smirk towards Meg. "At least she didn't go as far with Judd as Lilith did with Odalia… though if she did it wouldn't surprise me."

"Would you both quit it!" Le'Belle spoke out to the two, getting in between Venoma and Meg, facing Venoma. "Would you two just leave things be? I'm trying to be better than this, there's no reason to bring this up now!"

"Oh don't overreact, I'm just helping a teammate out," Venoma said as she patted her shoulder, but Le'Belle swatted it away from her.

"I don't need help! I was just doing fine until you two had to bring it up to hurt Meg like you always do!" Le'Belle ranted while Grip popped up. "It's like you two never got over high school!"

"Come on, Meg, let's get you out of here," Grip whispered while escorting her away from the argument.

"Oh please, like you have?" Venoma asked. "You're still just as butt hurt about Judd breaking up with you for the homewrecker."

"Judd is a criminal and I knew that dating him was a mistake," Le'Belle argued.

"Was it? Last I checked you two were all over yourselves even if you deny it," Alburno pointed out. "I bet you're thinking of him now…"

"Alright, enough!" spoke up Leonte, who was walking towards the group. "This is an art gallery, not a gossip corner. Titan, you three should be able to act civil…"

"But sir-" Le'Belle tried to speak up, but Leonte continued.

"No buts, I want all three of you to be on your best behavior. B.I.G. is supposed to set a good example, and the last thing the Isles need is watching disorder among the team. Do I make myself clear?!"

Venoma, Alburno and Le'Belle looked at each other before responding. "Yes, Captain."

"Good," Leonte said as he gave a nod before walking away.

Calypso watched the three scouts before letting out a sigh. "So much drama," she muttered before taking a look at a certain painting. This painting was red and black, depicting a witch in agony with cracks all over her skin. Calypso rubbed her own arm, this painting reminding her of herself… and causing her to recall a certain memory…

The young Calypso was holding up a bounty poster. It depicted a witch who could transform into a wolf, Lupe, but the poster read 'Big Bad Wolf: Twenty Million Snails: Dead or Alive.' Calypso decided to take the bounty, despite the risk. Sure, she had faced off rogue lycans before, but the Big Bad Wolf was considered the worst of the worst…

She had managed to narrow down her search based on sightings, reports, and markings. As she searched the woods for her bounty, she heard noises in the bushes and held up her crossbow and daggers between her fingers, prepared for whatever came out of those bushes…

if it hadn't been Slasher, who was still in his werewolf form and was breathing heavily. "Did I lose him?!" he asked himself, looking around before spotting Calypso with her weapons. "Wait! Don't shoot!"

Calypso kept her crossbow trained on Slasher, seeing the werewolf's current state. She narrowed here eyes at him. "Who are you?"

"P-Please, I don't mean any harm," he states while shivering. He was shirtless in his wolf form, while his pants were in tatters. "I just… want to escape."

Calypso looked at him suspiciously, wondering if the werewolf was trying to deceive her. "Escape from where?"

"Not where, who!" he responded while coughing.

Calypso looked at the werewolf with what seemed like pity, but she was still suspicious of him as well. She kept her crossbow up as she debated shooting him or not. "Who are you referring to?" she asked him.

But Slasher's eyes widened as he pointed behind her. "HIM!" he shouted while rushing up towards her. Calypso almost shot at him before she was hit from behind…

by the Big Bad Wolf, fully transformed. Slasher tried to pounce on him, but Lupe just backhanded him into a tree. "Well now, Slashy, I'm a bit disappointed in you," he said while turning to the dazed Calypso "And well, well, looks like I found a lovely snack. Were you going to eat her?"

"Leave her alone!" Slasher shouted as he jumped back, biting at Lupe's shoulder. Lupe responded by grabbing Slasher and slamming him on the ground. Slasher tried to fight back, but Lupe easily overpowered him, punching Slasher and stomping him into the ground.

"You're a little weakling, you know that?!" he shouted while pounding into him. "That is the problem with werewolves of today! You're too soft!" he shouted while Slasher struggled to get up, but Lupe kept punching him… only for his fist to get hit by an arrow. "RAAH!"

"Stop!" Calypso shouted. She was up again and held her crossbow, taking shots at him. But Lupe dodged the arrows as he rushed towards Calypso.

"That red cloak," he said while kicking her crossbow from her hand. "Red Huntress! What a surprise! Looks like I'll be the lycan to take you down!" he declared while swiping his claws at her.

"If I had a snail for every time I heard that," Calypso muttered as she dodged his claws and threw her daggers at him.

Lupe dodged the daggers while giving a roar to Calypso. He tried to snap at her with his teeth, but Calypso held her leg up to deliver a kick, the heel of her boot being revealed to have a knife which slashed his face. "AAH!" he winced, holding his bleeding snout. "You bitch!"

"There's more than where that came from," she said as she drew a spell circle, summoning large, toe-like bugs with teeth. They were launched towards Lupe and they began biting him.

"Gah! Toemites?!" Lupe shouted while trying to get them off.

This gave Calypso an opening as she rushed towards where her crossbow had landed. She managed to grab it just as Lupe got the toemites off of him. He turned to her with a glare and tried to rush towards her, but Calypso shot her arrows into his shoulder and knee.

"Shit!" Lupe declared while giving Calypso a look full of hate. "Like hell I'm gonna lose to you!" he shouted while opening his jaws to take a bite out of her.

But Calypso held up a dagger, a silver dagger, and stabbed him in the jaw. She dodged his attempts to grab her and slid between his legs, holding up more daggers hidden on her pocket-thigh band that she used to slash between legs.

"AAAAAAAAHHHH!" Lupe cried out in pain, fighting back tears as he turned to Calypso. "Is… is that the… best you got?"

"Other than this," she said as she held up a potion flask filled with some kind of brown liquid. "A splash of this would give you hives…"

Lupe looked at her with a glare, a snarl heard through his teeth. He backed away from her before he turned and started to run, fleeing from the Red Huntress.

Calypso was about to chase him, but then she noticed the wounded werewolf. She wondered if she should just leave him, but then she saw the werewolf start to change. Her eyes widened when she saw Slasher's witch form. Starving, covered in bruises, and visibly starving, he looked like a wreck.

Calypso had a choice to make… and she decided to stay with Slasher. "Hang on, I'm going to help you," she said as she ripped a piece of her dress and brought out some ointment to pour on it before she wrapped the cloth around his wounded arm.

"AAH!" he winced, the sting of the ointment making him look at Calypso. He looked into her eyes… her lovely eyes… before he passed out.

Calypso continued to look at the painting for a long while. It had affected her so much that she didn't realize the same figure in black and top hat was now behind her. He was… getting close to her… with his fangs being exposed by his smile.

Meanwhile, back at the triple date, things were not looking well… for Nina, at least. She decided to text someone on her scroll, asking them to come by just in case while Donna's presence continued to make her uncomfortable.

"So I remember this one time when we both snuck out, but we had to hide from the boiling rain after nearly being caught in it," Donna commented, turning to Nina. "You remember that, don't you, Nina? How we had to huddle next to each other?" she asked while drawing Nina's attention… just as Donna crossed her legs.

"Uh… yeah," Nina responded while surprised to see Donna adjusting her top. The werecat turned away while blushing.

"Wow, sounds like you and Nina had some good times as kids," Lambi responded.

"Oh yeah, we've got a lot of history," Donna agreed. "We were super close."

"Before we drifted apart," Nina pointed out.

"But not too far apart," Donna tried to argue. "I mean, I did save your life during the school war," she pointed out before she turned to Lambi. "She can kinda be like this sometimes, I should know, we're really close."

"Yeah, you've mentioned that already," King pointed out.

"Um… yeah, I did get the picture when Nina told me about you…" Lambi said.

"What else has she told you?" Donna asked out of curiosity.

"Well, she's already told me about her time at Glandus, but I've decided to look past that," Lambi replied.

"Oh? So do you know what she did before then? Like what she did to her sister…"

That was it. That was the final straw that made Nina suddenly stand up, causing everyone to turn to her. "I'm leaving," she said as she started to walk away. Lambi, Donna, and Laura looked worried by this while Cross and King looked surprised.

"Nina?" Lambi asked as she stood up as well and started to follow Nina.

"Nina? Come back!" Donna shouted as she followed Nina as well, leaving Cross with Laura and King.

"This… wasn't how I imagined my first date would go…" Cross said, feeling embarrassed as he sank down into his seat.

At the entrance of the restaurant, Skara was there and she spotted Nina storming toward her with Lambi and Donna following. "Nina, I got your text," Skara said, sounding worried. "Are you okay? Do you need any help?"

"Let's just go," Nina responded before she was stopped by Donna.

"Nina, wait!" Donna shouted, causing Nina, Skara, and Lambi to turn to her. "Nina, you don't have to leave!"

"Oh give it a rest, Donna," Nina said, turning to her. "I'm not an idiot, you know. I know what you've been doing this whole time. I know why you're really here."

"I… I'm just here with Cross-"

"Don't lie to me, Donna," Nina told her off. "You and Cross just so happen to have had reservations at the same time as me and Lambi? Come on, Donna. The timing, that outfit, the looks you kept giving me at the dinner table… what are you really doing here?"

Donna looked nervous. "Well, I…"

"The truth, Donna," Nina demanded.

Donna knew that she couldn't lie to Nina, not when Nina could see right through her. "Alright, I…" she said, looking down. "I did know that you and Lambi were going to be here beforehand…"

She looked up at Nina, whose eyes were hidden in shadow. Nina just stood there in silence… before her collar shocked her and forced her to kneel down.

"AAAH! FUCK!" she cried out in a scream as she felt the electricity surge. Even if she wasn't showing it right now, Nina was furious that Donna had crashed her date.

"Nina!" Lambi and Skara shouted as they went to help Nina up.

"Nina, are you okay?" Lambi asked.

"Frustrated," Nina responded. "Just… just take me home."

As Lambi helped Nina out, Donna tried to follow her. "Nina-"

"Don't follow me," Nina hissed at her. "I think you've done enough tonight."

And so Nina and Lambi left the restaurant. Donna still tried to follow Nina outside… but Skara blocked her with her staff.

"Don't," Skara said, her tone icy and her eyes narrowed.

"Skara, I just-"

"Just what, Donna?" Skara demanded, giving her a glare. "When you rejected Nina last week while she was going through a hard time, without even giving her a chance to give her side, you made it very clear that you did not feel the same way she did. But suddenly when you are no longer the subject of her attention and starts to spend time with someone else instead, you show an interest in her," she pointed out while Donna noticed Skara's fangs were showing. "You couldn't stand it that Nina took an interest in someone that wasn't you!"

"What? No! It's… it's not it…" Donna looked away as Skara continued.

"Oh, so you didn't just show up to insert yourself into her date while dressed like a floozy witch showing off in front of her?!" Skara demanded while Donna was silent. "And this is after you broke her heart in a very harsh way and ditched her when she needed you the most. What is wrong with you?!" she shouted as she gave a little snarl.

"I… I'm sorry," Donna said, feeling guilt washing over her. "I was just… trying to make Nina want me."

"Want you?" Skara asked. "There was a time when Nina needed you! Where were you when she learned she was infertile? Where were you when she learned her parents didn't even want her? You weren't there for her then. But here you are now, trying to distract her during her date with Lambi. If you ask me, Nina has had enough toxic friends in her life!"

The words hit Donna like daggers as Skara gave the silver-haired girl a piece of her mind. Once Skara had gotten that off her chest, she huffed and turned to follow Nina and Lambi, leaving Donna to think about what she had said.

"I… I didn't mean…" she said as she looked in the mirror on the wall at the waiting line, taking a good look at herself. For a moment, she saw Party Donna looking back at her. "What have I done…?"

Outside the art gallery, Graye was ranting to Vanessa.

"Emily… she's as good as dead!" the drunk Graye cried out, tears leaking out from his eyes. "I… I shouldn't have treated her so harshly. She was just… young and… I really, really regret hurting her…"

"There, there, let it out," Vanessa said, patting his back.

"I knew the Emperor didn't like her all that much, but she didn't deserve to be imprisoned," he said while looking down. "Of course, it was Terra who suggested that I take her in as my own apprentice… dammit, it's my fault. My fault that she was even in the Conformatorium in the first place…"

This makes Vanessa's eyebrow raise. "Adrian… what the hell did you do?"

Inside the art gallery, Calypso was still looking at the painting, distracted as the dark figure drew close to her. Slasher was looking elsewhere before he noticed who was going near his wife…

"Calypso!" he called out for her…

BITE

"AAAHH!"

But it was too late. Everyone turned and saw that the dark cloaked figure had made his strike. He had successfully bitten Calypso's neck, his hands gripping her arms as blood poured from her neck.

Slasher, seeing his wife in danger, snarled as he started to transform. He turned into a werewolf, much to the shock and surprise of the patrons. He rushed over to knock the vampire away from Calypso before Slasher dug his claws to the vampire. It happened very quickly, too quickly for the vampire to be able to react as Slasher bared his fangs, clamped his jaws on the vampire's head, and ripped the head away from his body.

Slasher spat out the head, which rolled across the floor, much to the shock of everyone who had just seen what he had done. The werewolf Brooke then turned to his fallen wife, who was bleeding out from her neck. "Cali!"

He rushed over to her aid, cradling his wife's body. "Calypso… Cali, please, can you hear me?"

"S-Slash…" Calypso said as he tried to cover her neck. "I… I let my guard down…"

"Don't worry, you're going to be okay," Slasher reassured her while feeling her body grow cold. He then started to call for help. "Someone! Is there a Healer here!" he shouted while holding her bridal style. "Anyone-"

"Freeze!"

Slasher paused as he saw Leonte, Alburno, Venoma, and Le'Belle all in front of him, spells ready. "Put her down, wolf!" Venoma demanded.

"What…?" Slasher asked as he looked down at himself and realized he was still in his werewolf form. He looked around and saw the shocked and scared looks of the witch patrons around him, as well as some other scouts aiming their spells at him. "Please, I was just-"

"Put Head Witch Brooke down!" Leonte demanded, his finger up. "Or we will make you…"

Slasher was nervous, feeling cornered. "Please, you have to help-"

ZAP!

"AAAH!" Slasher cried out as a spell hit him and sent a shock throughout his body. He fell down along with his wife. The one who shot him was Le'Belle, who seemed to be shocked by what she had done as she looked at the fallen Brooke couple.

Slasher and Calypso both laid motionless on the floor, everyone still looking shocked at the events that unfolded… except for one witch. That witch was Terra Snapdragon, who just calmly drank her tea with a smile on her face.

Meanwhile at the Torsa Villa in the Fangs home, the Fangs family were playing a board game together in their living room.

"Alright, Buttons you take Ralph's snails and his condo deal," Cally said, reading the game card while Buttons did an air fist pump.

"Yes!" Buttons replied.

"Oh isn't this just great," Leo said while resting his arm around Pam. "Some nice, quiet family time to start the weekend…"

But suddenly their door was busted open. This spooked the family, who turned to the door. "What's going on?!" Pam exclaimed.

"Are we being robbed?!" Winter asked while hugging West.

"Not robbing, not exactly," said one of the intruders as she entered the house. "You all must be Nina's family…. nice to finally meet you," Sonya added as she formed a cheshire grin. Walking into the house next to her was Lupe.

"Who… who are you people?!" Leo demanded.

"She's the good doctor," Lupe said while also sporting a grin as he started to change into his werewolf form. "And you can call me… the Big Bad Wolf."

And before the shocked Fangs family could even finish processing this, Lupe lunged forward.

I'm sure they're fine…

To clear things up, Zee has met Emily earlier in the week of her stay in the Shystream residence, which is something that will be shown in a later chapter, along with what was Hunter doing during the week. That way, things would clear up.

Not much to say about this chapter, but here are some references for the previous Coven Heads mentioned:

Judy Goreland of Illusions, who's a homage to Judy Garland, classic star known for playing Dorothy in Wizard of Oz.

Dr. Naga Venomstrike of Potions, a mixture of Dr. Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horror Picture Show and Orochimaru from Naruto.

Karlos Green is a direct expy of Carl Greer of GI Joe.

Prague the Crafter, heavily inspired by Judah Loew ben Bezalel, the known rabbi who created the Golem of Prague.

Zoltar the Magnificent is a homage to Zoltar the fortune teller machine and Zoltan, the deleted character from the original Atlantis: The Lost Empire script which includes his most horrifying death scene.

Scarmadeus Keys is a reference to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the most famous pianist and a well known crackpot if you get the meaning behind his music. To learn more what I meant, look up History Buffs review on Amadeus on Youtube.

Brad Tholomule is the great-grandparent of Steve and Matt. It's a reference to a fan theory that Construction Head Mason is related to Steve and Matt.

Patrick is Terra's latest coven aid, his appearance and mannerism is based off of a mixture of both Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove, and the Tick(both played by Patrick Warburton, latter from the first live-action series).

Mosquita has made her debut, as she's an expy of Lashawna from the Total Drama series.

And of course, Vincent Van Pierce, who's actually a parody of Van Gogh from Clone High.

Also Eda having a Tina Turner dress is my way of a tribute to the Queen of Rock N' Roll herself, including her appearing role as The Acid Queen in The Who's Tommy adaptational movie. That along with her role as Aunty Entity in Mad Max 3 have her go reach Beyond the Thunderdome.

Now the Original Nine Heads is a way to establish not only some world-building, but to highlight how Terra is the only original Head left. She has been there since the beginning of the Coven System's formation.

Also to those who wonder what Belos means about when he told Calypso there's something in the Forest of Fear that he wants… he's referring to the portal key. Yeah, at this point he's still think that the portal key that Luz threw is still there.

Now to answer reviews:

Crash X Fusion: Family Matters is the intro we've parodied. And you don't have to, on occasion that they're drug pushers and traffickers. Andrew did joined LOWTH since the beach, and his abilities are useful. Like, tunnelling can be useful on rescue missions like saving someone trapped underground or lead escape routes for people in need. Milk of Magnesia is something you'd thank the gods you don't have to drink. Yeah, Tito is in the Bard Coven. The Alchemist is neither Nicole nor Sonya.

The Great Fossil King: Thanks for the entry, but we're currently looking for fankids currently introduced to the story so far. So probably denied entry since Judy and Nick hasn't been officially nor mentioned in the story.

Matteso585: 2) Yeah, just don't expect him to get much focus. 3) Well yeah, Tito was cleared from any suspicion obviously.

Guest: Thanks, if we get a name from you to credit with your entry, let us know.

Richardo Alfredo Almiron: We don't know.

RJWritingInk: No worries. And on Phineas and Ferb along with Milo Murphy, well it hasn't crossed out minds. The penguins are pretty much open to interpretation, though probably not the same Penguins. And it's Family Matters to answer(I know you already know this since we've last talked, but cutesy for the author's notes). Let's just say this Pinkie Pie expy likes having ever-lasting friendships. And no, Injustice Harley didn't crossed our minds(nor was she ever, considering what she tried to do with Billy that's just... ick). If the actual Stinkmeaner was in Hell in the Hazbin's Hell, he'd be one of Lucifer's generals.

Shuffollower: Yeah, we know that it would be unneccessary for a fight between Nina and Eustace and Serpentina, so those two bozos will get what's coming. You'll see more of Jemma, Lynxa, and Tally soon.

Spantidem7: 1) Don't know, since that song wouldn't make sense here in this fic anymore. 2) I don't understand that question. 3) Who knows. 4) I don't know, but we have thought of using that song sometime.

Krypton Joy Writes: ...No, they're not related. They're not even in the same universe! What makes you think Scabrina and Sabrina from Pokemon are the same?! Also no, don't think we'll go that far with Luz. As for Tito, there is no plans to have a chapter center around him, nor did we have interest in. Calypso's parents have never met Alador's parents, actually. No, not all the old people are evil, Calypso's parents are just racist jerks that prefers to keep to themselves.

Ultimate-drax: Thanks for the review.

Also a special announcement. On the first week of September, from the 2nd to the 8th, I will be going on a cruise to the Bahamas. I will probably be off grid for that week since internet service is limited there so my internet presence will be limited. The next chapter will come out hopefully soon before my trip.

That's all for now. Leave a fav, follow and review.
