Day 1 Prompt: Fortune Cookie Epiphany
Takes place the day after Showtime (7x11).
The blood she'd brought him earlier was slowly healing his wounds while he listened to the stomping and giggling coming from upstairs.
"The hell's getting 'em so hyped?" He asked when she came back down.
"Fortune cookies," Buffy replied, showing him the one she was holding.
He snorted. "Never actually had one of those."
She sat on the edge of his cot and handed him half of it.
While they munched, she read the paper in her hand and smiled fondly, before showing it to him.
Sitting in silence with you is all the noise I need.
