Day 28 Prompt: Storytelling
Takes place a few days before The Killer in Me (7x13).
Spike woke to a gentle hand combing his hair.
"Spike?" Buffy called softly.
He moved his head away from whatever he'd been leaning face flat against and found himself face-to-knee with her ridiculous sushi-themed pajamas. It had a suspiciously darker spot where his mouth had been.
"Movie's over, sleepyhead."
The TV was indeed blaring the end credits of Ghostbuster.
He wiped his mouth, cleared his throat and rose from the floor under the amused eyes of the girls.
"Right. Well, thanks for having me, ladies," he said, attempting to salvage whatever dignity he had left, before retreating to the basement.
Couldn't resist making Spike fall asleep in the face of modern storytelling xD But I'm sure he enjoyed the movie, since he quoted it back to Buffy in the next episode ^^

PS: Not sure if it was clear enough, but he was sitting on the floor next to Buffy who was on the couch and fell asleep against the side of her knee.
