Chapter 94
(Author's Note: Kraken's group is so large sometimes it's hard for me to remember who is all with him, but minor Changes made to the end of Chapter 93 to include more people currently at Dubois' castle. Thank you for reading!)
The Straw Hat Shinobi, consisting of: Team 7 and Hinata, Every straw hat besides Robin and Zoro, the three former warlords Jimbei, Mihawk, and Boa, and former admirals Fujitora, Kraken, Law, and Kasai, Okua, Lionel Newgate and Akainu Cyclone was completely out numbered but every last one of these people knew what he was capable of.
"Pirates, Shinobi, and Marines. All together in the same place. I can only imagine how long its been since I've seen that." Cyclone said with a cocky smirk.
Kraken stepped up and lightly pushed Naruto and Luffy away.
"Hey! Don't push me back!" Luffy yelled.
"Be quiet, Luffy." Kraken said softly.
"What have you got planned, Kraken?" Cyclone asked, focusing his Mind's eye on Kraken. Words ran across Cyclone's pupil.
"So this is Cyclone... I've heard so much about him..." Okua thought to himself.
"I... I can feel his power from here!" Lionel thought.
"Cyclone? When we met, he referred to himself as another name. How much stronger have you gotten?" Mihawk thought.
"What demonic energy... if I could see your face... I know it would be pure evil!" Fujitora thought, clutching his sword.
"I didn't expect to run into this man again so soon!" Boa thought, frightened.
"WE'RE GONNA DIE!" Nami, Chopper, and Usopp all thought at once.
"My arm is still somewhat damaged from our fight at Arlong Park 2.0, now the guy's got upgrades!?" Franky thought.
"I've died once in the Florian Traingle... I will not die here again!" Brook thought with a determined look.
"This bastard chopped me up real good last time. I'll filet him with Ifrit Jambe!" Sanji thought.
"Cyclone... it's been so long." Jimbei thought.
"So we meet again, Cyclone! I'll kill him right now!" Akainu thought with rage.
Naruto, Kraken, and Luffy's thoughts didn't show up. Cyclone focused harder. For Kraken, nothing. Kraken trained his mind extensively to think of nothing when Cyclone had this eye activated. Naruto and Luffy were completely blacked out with rage over everything they've been through and everything they've heard. Cyclone smiled.
"Some team you've assembled Kraken. Some of the strongest the four blues have to offer. Except, a few of you, of course." Cyclone said, looking at the Shinobi."
Cyclone looked at Fujitora.
"Admiral Fujitora, or Issho, whichever one you prefer. You've finally opened your eyes I see, funny enough." Cyclone joked.
Fujitora clutched his sword harder.
"What do you have planned, Kraken? Why are you here at the old man's castle?" Cyclone asked, "You expecting to learn something to defeat Psycho and I?" Cyclone asked rhetorically.
"The Shinobi deserve to know the truth, Muranaka. The elders are gone and so is Imu! That side of the grudge is over. There is no reason that the Shinobi World can't be allowed out of the darkness!" Kraken yelled.
Team 7 and Hinata looked at Kraken. Cyclone stared.
"So that's what you're up to. You know this grudge hasn't gone on for 900 years for no reason. So the elders are dead, so what? You think when the ninja learn the truth they'll want to group with the same people who've caused them so much misery? Killed countless family members and friends of theirs? Forced them to become Marines or be imprisoned? And don't even get me started on the Shinobi in Wano." Cyclone said.
The Shinobi straightened up. Cyclone smiled an evil smile. Kraken became nervous.
"Go ahead Kraken, tell them to not listen to a word I'm saying! Because when I tell them I wouldn't be surprised if they join my team!" Cyclone yelled.
"What is he talking about Kraken?" Sakura asked, worried.
"Kraken... what haven't you told us?" Kakashi asked.
"Kraken?" Hinata said softly.
Naruto and Sasuke stared at Kraken. Kraken had mentioned Wano when he brought up Mifune being a DEATH member. But he didn't tell the Shinobi what was going on in Wano right now.
Kraken's expression hid behind his hat.
"Wano..." Kraken started.
It was completely silent. Nothing could be heard. Cyclone slowly unsheathed his sword. Kraken's fists shook violently.
SHUCK!
Blood splattered over Kraken's hat, face, and shades as he stared with shock. Nobody could believe what they had seen, or didn't see!
Kasai groaned as he bled from his mouth and body.
"GAAHHH!" Kasai groaned, coughing up blood.
Everyone looked at Cyclone, who just stood there smiling. Kasai had his arms out as if he was holding someone.
"Where is he Kasai?! Is he invisible?" Kakashi asked.
Everyone grabbed their weapons or activated their devil fruits and watched every angle for any possible attack.
"Where, Where!?" Fujitora yelled, stressed he couldn't pinpoint Cyclone's location.
Mihawk and Okua scanned everywhere they could with their eyes and observation haki.
"F-F-Fools... Do-Do you not see him... He's...R-Right in front of me!" Kasai yelled weakly.
DOOOOOOM!
Cyclone had finally materialized, stabbing Kasai through the stomach with haki. Everyone was shocked.
"This speed is ungodly!" Okua yelled.
"Excellent block, Kasai! I love to see 12 years of torture hasn't weakened you!" Cyclone said, pushing the sword deeper into Kasai's body.
"AHHHHHHH!" Kasai screamed.
"Wh-WHEN THE HELL DID HE DO THAT!" Usopp screamed at the top of his lungs.
Sanji, Naruto, Luffy, and Sasuke were all shocked. Akainu stared with shock and rage.
"What the hell kind of power is that!?" Akainu yelled.
Kraken was frozen with fear. Kraken's PTSD set in.
"No...I'm supposed to be over this! I-I-I-I'm better than this!" Kraken rubbed his head, all he could see was the demonic shadows of Psycho and Cyclone floating over him with evil smiles and completely red eyes. Everything was red around them and the island Kraken stood on was completely black. This was the last Image Kraken had of Psycho and Cyclone before he ran 12 years ago.
"But I thought his real body was over there?" Kakashi asked.
Everyone looked at Cyclone's body, clutching his sword. Slowly the image blew away like dust in the wind.
"Was that an after image? A mirage!?" Nami asked.
"That's the result of 900 years of nonstop training and fighting! The power to rule the world!" Cyclone yelled, ripping his sword up Kasai's body, blood flew everywhere.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kasai screamed.
"NOOOOO!" Kraken yelled with tears in his eyes.
"OH MY GOD, KASAI!" Sakura screamed, running towards Kasai.
"Sakura NO!" Sanji yelled.
Cyclone looked over at Sakura and got ready to swing his sword.
"NOT SO FAST YOU DAMN FOSSIL!" Sanji yelled.
Cyclone looked up but Sanji was too fast. Sanji spun in the air at super speed.
"FLANCHET!" Sanji yelled.
Cyclone used his sword to block.
"STRIKE!" Sanji yelled, blasting Cyclone's sword with his blue flaming kick.
The impact blasted Cyclone across the battlefield. Sakura made it to Kasai.
"Somebody please help me, help him! Hinata, Nami help me out! Kraken what supplies do we have on the ship?" Sakura asked frantically.
Kraken was shaken, frozen, and traumatized.
"KRAKEN PLEASE SNAP OUT OF IT!" Sakura screamed with tears. Chopper ran over to help.
"I'll help you, Ms. Sakura! Please stay calm, we will save him!" Chopper said with a smile.
Sakura calmed down slightly.
"Nami, Hinata, can you please go in the Marine ship and bring us some anesthesia, stitches, bandages, and a lot of water!" Chopper ordered.
"Right!" The two women said, running off.
"I'll go too!" Usopp yelled, running with them.
Cyclone smiled.
"They've gotten stronger. That is definitely a fact." Cyclone said, taking off his jacket and turban, "None of you are going out as easy as before." Cyclone said, walking towards the group.
Kraken continued staring, he was out of it for now.
"Kraken's out." Jimbei said.
"It appears the history between him and that man, is greater than we understand." Mihawk said.
"Then we wll fight on Monkey D. Kraken's behalf!" Okua said cheerfully.
"But Kraken's supposed to be the strongest of us!" Lionel said.
"It will be fine, Lionel! I've got your back." Okua said with a smile, "And the Straw Hats will not let anything happen to you."
"How long has it been since we fought together? Eh, Jimbei?" Sanji asked.
"Quite a while!" Jimbei said with a laugh.
"Time for Franky's SUPERRRRRRRR shining moment!" Franky yelled, striking his pose.
"If I show weakness, Cyclone will kill me... except... I'm already dead! YO HO HO HO!" Brook laughed.
"That's the byakugan in his eye, Sasuke." Kakashi said.
"I hate pirates, and I definitely hate shinobi, but Cyclone is basically both! Who needs magma, I'll crush his head under a haki foot!" Akainu yelled.
"The last time we fought he used my room... if he tries again I can warn you of all of the potential attacks." Law said.
"That's extremely handy! OW!" Franky yelled.
Sasuke nodded.
"Focus your attention on his eyes. They weren't those same colors the last time we fought." Sasuke said, Kakashi nodded.
Naruto and Luffy began walking towards Cyclone, who was already walking towards the group. Cyclone smiled to himself as the force of: Sasuke, Kakashi, Sanji, Mihawk, Franky, Brook, Law, Jimbei, Okua, and Lionel walked towards him. Cyclone could see the younger versions of everyone walking towards him except Okua and Lionel, since this is his first time meeting them, but everyone else he had met before. Cyclone's smile went away when he realized Naruto and Luffy were gone. Cyclone was slightly confused until...
BAMMMMMMMM!
Cyclone blocked two heavy punches from Naruto and Luffy. Cyclone smiled as he looked at the nine tails in Naruto's eyes and Luffy's pure rage and determination in his.
"And this is why I've loved fighting you both for centuries! No matter who you reincarnate as... you're both the same as you were 900 years ago!" Cyclone yelled.
NORTH BLUE ISLAND
A cool breeze swept over the island and into a cracked window in Iwataka's cabin. The sun was shining high and bright. Zoro slowly rolled over in his cot and looked outside. Zoro's eyes widened as he saw Iwataka do what appeared to be a slash in his direction!
SLICE! BOOOOOOOMM!
The entire hut was cut clean in half by Iwataka's sword. The house collapsed and was destroyed. Amaiya and Zoro emerged from the rubble.
"What the hell is he doing!? I thought you said we could trust him!" Zoro yelled at Amaiya.
"I thought we could too! He was way too nice!" Amaiya said.
Both saw a shadow floating overhead and looked up.
Iwataka gracefully floated through the air as he unsheathed his sword and at the same time sending another slash at the pair.
"Watch out!" Zoro yelled, shoving Amaiya out the way.
The slash cut deep into the ground. So deep, you could see the water crashing below.
"That slash would have cut clean through us and continued for miles! What the hell is this!?" Zoro asked himself.
"Iwataka! What are you doing!" Amaiya asked.
Iwataka focused on the two and leaned in their direction before moon walking in a zig zag pattern towards them, holding his sheathed sword at his side.
"He can moon walk too!?" Zoro asked.
"It looks like we don't have time for questions! He's clearly trying to kill us! We need to fight with everything we've got!" Amaiya said, holding up her fists.
Zoro put a sword in his mouth.
"Didn't you say he beat Cyclone? How will we beat him?" Zoro asked.
"We'll figure something out! We have to... unless you want to tdie on this island!" Amaiya said.
Zoro looked back at Iwataka and tightened up his bandana.
"Nah. I'm not dying here." Zoro said, readying his swords.
Iwataka continued to moon walk towards them and unsheated his sword.
"He's about to attack!" Amaiya yelled.
"I know!" Zoro retorted.
BOOOOOOOOM!
Iwataka's sword clashed with Zoro's swords and Amaiya's fist. A shockwave blasted over the battle ground. A wave of air slicing trees perfectly in half. Zoro and Amaiya were cut multiple times on their body despite Iwataka's sword not touching them. The two bled slightly over their bodies as the forced Iwataka away, who gracefully landed with a back flip.
"We got cut...! When!?" Zoro asked frantically.
"He... did this to Cyclone too!" Amaiya remembered Iwataka and Cyclone dueling.
Cyclone backed away to catch a few breaths and noticed pain in his chest area. Cyclone grew shocked and took off his cropped jean jacket and was shocked to see multiple slashes on his chest! Each cut was heavy. About 15 inches long, that's what each cut measured. They were deep as well.
Cyclone looked up with anger and surprise.
"When did you …" Cyclone began to ask.
Iwataka smirked.
"Just because I missed a few slashes doesn't mean I didn't get you, Cyclone-soro." Iwataka asked.
Cyclone grew a vein in his head. Cyclone dashed at Iwataka, full of anger.
"I'M ASKING WHEN YOU CUT ME YOU BASTARD!" Cyclone yelled.
"Even he couldn't figure out exactly what he was doing..." Amaiya said, raising her fists again.
The two stared at Iwataka as the man who vowed to never open his eyes again, squatted and readied his sword for another attack.
"Zoro..." Amaiya started, "I think we are out of our league here!" Amaiya yelled as Iwataka dashed towards the two at super speed.
