Chapter 97
Inside Kraken's ship Usopp, Nami, Hinata, and Boa reacted to Brook slamming into the ship.
"AHHHHHH WHAT HAPPENED!? IS HE ATTACKING THE SHIP!?" Usopp yelled.
"If he attacked this ship, he would have destroyed it entirely! I think something or some one was sent flying into the ship!" Boa explained.
Nami and Hinata ran out of a medical room.
"It's fine! Hinata and I have got some medical supplies." Nami said.
Hinata held a shocked Nagashima in her arms.
"I grabbed this guy too!... He's been like this since last night." Hinata said.
Brook came walking up behind the group holding his head.
"Brook!" Usopp and Nami yelled in unison.
"Cyclone sent me flying into the ship with some type of powerful punch!" Brook said.
"Are you alright?" Hinata asked.
"Yes, Hinata-san, I am fine! Yo ho ho ho!" Brook laughed.
"Come on guys we have to get off this ship!" Nami yelled.
The group began to run to the deck of the ship.
"How is the fight going Brook!?" Usopp asked.
Brook looked down.
"He's... He's dominating us!" Brook yelled.
Usopp, Nami, Boa, and Hinata all held a face of disappointment.
"It's... not even close?" Nami asked.
"I'm afraid not... Cyclone... is light years ahead of us!" Brook said.
"Have faith." Hinata said.
Everyone looked at Hinata who smiled.
"Luffy is just like Naruto right? Well if he's anything like Naruto... he won't quit! They will beat him!" Hinata said.
Everyone smiled.
"YEAHHH! THEY'LL DO IT FOR SURE!" Usopp yelled.
Boa held concern on her face.
"Luffy..." Boa said.
On the battlefield, round two began.
Fujitora sent rocks flying towards Cyclone who smiled and slammed his hands on the ground causing a pink ring to fly over the battle field and stopping Fujitoras' rocks in their tracks, while picking up other small rocks and boulders.
"What is this?" Fujitora asked.
Cyclone smiled an evil smile and raised his hands in the air, causing the rocks to fly into the sky and fall straight down on Fujitora like heavy rain! Fujitora used his observation haki to deflect rocks with his sword as they rained down. While Fujitora was pinned down, Cyclone put his fingers to his head and channeled energy to his forehead creating electricity at Cyclone's fingertips.
"Oh no! He's going to blast straight through me while I'm pinned down!" Fujitora said to himself.
When Cyclone brought his fingers across his face to blast the attack, Naruto sent diamond truth seeker orbs to Cyclone's location. Cyclone dodged as the orbs crashed into the ground and shot the attack at Naruto who dodged it with minimal effort.
"I'm stronger than I was!" Naruto yelled, blasting to Cyclone and swinging at him with a diamond staff he created from one of the orbs. Cyclone held an insane face as Naruto's attack phased through him.
"Another after image!" Naruto yelled, looking back at Cyclone who was now on the ground before his attack even hit the ground!
"This speed is ridiculous! He didn't even stop time!" Naruto yelled, dashing towards Cyclone, who got ready to deflect the attack back towards Naruto!
"SHIT THAT WAS HIS PLAN!" Naruto yelled, barely being able to stop on time, but Cyclone was two steps ahead! Cyclone deflected the attack towards Fujitora who was still pinned down!
"AHHHH HAAAA HA HA HA HA!" Cyclone laughed.
Fujitora was still blocking rocks.
"His fight IQ is off the charts! I had always heard rumors... but to plan this far ahead... in the heat of battle!" Fujitora attempted to stop the rocks with his gravity but couldn't!
Cyclone laughed.
"HAA HA HA HA! Let me explain something to you about devil fruits! Devil fruit abilities can be canceled out if the haki of the intended target is too strong!" Cyclone yelled.
Puffing through the air could be heard as Luffy, in bounceman form, zipped into the hail of rocks to grab Fujitora. Luffy's body was battered and cut by countless rocks! Fujitora was cut a little as well. Cyclone's beam went straight through the rock trap, canceling it. The beam stretched down the island until it exploded in the distance. Luffy turned back to normal and bled over his body.
"Are you okay, Fuji!?" Luffy asked.
"I should be asking you that!" Fujitora smiled.
Luffy smiled big.
BOOOOM!
Cyclone blasted towards Luffy and Fujitora who got ready to defend themselves. Cyclone looked back to see Naruto zipping towards him in crystal fox form. Cyclone put up his guard as Naruto slammed a punch into Cyclone's guard. The two zipped around the battle field in steams of Naruto's white to Cyclone's blackish purple aura.
"GOOOD!" Cyclone said as he flew backwards guarding another punch from Naruto, Naruto was confused.
"BUT NOT ENOUGH!" Cyclone yelled, opening his mouth and blasting a red beam into Naruto's face.
"AHHH!" Naruto yelled.
Cyclone kneed Naruto in the stomach which caused the latter to spit up blood. Cyclone kicked Naruto into the air, teleported behind Naruto, and slammed his back hand into Naruto's back, sending Naruto flying down towards Fujitora and Luffy!
BOOM!
As Naruto and the others got up they looked up with fright as Cyclone held out a hand. Cyclone smiled wickedly as his body released conqueror's haki lightning.
BOOM! CRASH! BOOM!
Lightning stormed throughout the island. Usopp, Brook, and Nami were all knocked unconcious by the burst of conqueror's.
"What happened!?" Hinata yelped.
Boa couldn't believe what she was seeing. Why wasn't Hinata affected?
"He's releasing his conqueror's haki! It's a powerful haki only one in several million people have, it allows the user to knock weaker people unconscious with their will, but it doesn't work on other conqueror users or those with strong wills... that's why I'm wondering... why aren't you affected?" Boa asked.
Hinata was confused.
At Kasai's body, Chopper fell unconscious.
"What the!? Doctor! Doctor!" Sakura yelled, trying to wake Chopper up. Sakura looked in the air and saw Cyclone's pose.
"What is he doing?..." Sakura said softly as Kakashi and Sasuke hurried up and grabbed Sakura and Chopper.
"He's... about to attack!" Kakashi said weakly, his clothes torn up and he was bruised all over, his headband had fallen off his head. Sasuke bled a little and his ribs were slightly cracked. A side effect from his new susanoo is damage to the bone structure reflects to the users actual bone structure. Sanji grabbed Kasai.
"Oi, are you alright! Sorry about this!" Sanji said.
"Kraken-te..." Kasai let out weakly.
Sanji snapped into and looked back at Kraken who looked up at Cyclone with fear.
"OI! KRAKEN!" Sanji yelled.
Kraken remained stuck.
Naruto, Luffy, and Fujitora looked up at Cyclone.
"Guys, we need to get the hell out of here!" Naruto said.
"If we run we'll look weak!" Luffy yelled.
"Are you serious just look at him!" Naruto yelled back.
"He's overflowing with so much energy its leaking out of his body!" Fujitora said, "I've never seen anything like this before!"
Cyclone continued to smile. His pentagram eye glowing a bright red, so bright it could be seen from the ground.
FLASHBACK
"You know there's a clan running around using that name?" Psycho asked.
Cyclone sat beneath a tree, reading a book. Cyclone looked up.
DOOOOM! Cyclone and Psycho (100 years ago, before the Leaf Village got its name).
"Hmph." Cyclone said, looking back into his book.
Psycho wore an all black, sleeveless jumpsuit with black gloves that stretched up to his elbows and black wrist guards over them. Psycho wore black sandals on his feet, and a black and red tank top armor. A fox mask hung on the side of his face.
Psycho also wore a black bandana with the hidden rain symbol on it. Cyclone wore his classic turban with black tank top armor and smooth black pants that were rolled up to just under his knees and black sandals. Cyclone's arms were wrapped with bandages.
"Word around is they're some of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to medicines, and they have the ability to utilize Yin release, manipulating shadows." Psycho explained, "You sure you didn't leave any family members behind?"
Cyclone slightly showed his clock eye.
"Impossible." Cyclone said coldly, "Those fakes don't even know where that name comes from."
END OF FLASHBACK
As Cyclone finished his sentence in the past, Cyclone stared down at Naruto, Luffy, and Fujitora, but Cyclone's main focus was on Naruto and Luffy. In Cyclone's pupil he saw Hagoromo and... another fighter next to him. Everything had become red, the island shook violently! As Cyclone focused on the mysterious fighter next to Hagoromo, they flashed a big goofy smile at him! Cyclone snapped.
"RRRAHHHHHHHHH!" Cyclone swiped his hand across the air. Nothing.
Then out of nowhere, a feint boom could be heard, a pillar of fire in the distance.
"Hey, is it just me... or." Naruto stopped.
Fujitora began to sweat.
"THAT FLAME IS GETTING CLOSER!" Luffy yelled.
"Heaven splitter..." Cyclone said as everything went black and Japanese kanji flashed in the air.
WEEERRRROP BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The fire pillar blasted across the battlefield swallowing up everything in its path! Luffy, Naruto, and Fujitora ran towards Kraken.
"BRO! GET OUT THE WAY!" Luffy yelled.
Kraken couldn't move as he stared up at Cyclone who stared back down, his bicep across his face, his eyes glowing red and his body completely black.
Naruto and Luffy then noticed Hinata and Boa getting off the ship with the supplies, they were carrying Brook, Usopp, and Nami as well.
"My crew!" Luffy yelled.
Naruto winced.
"We'll get them Luffy!" Naruto yelled, looking at Fujitora, the elder shinobi turned marine nodded.
"TIME STOP!" Naruto yelled, releasing his chakra over the environment, ceasing all movement. Cyclone's ability had almost caught up. Luffy was in gear 2, ready to zip away from the blast radius.
"Old man, use your gravity to lift them up and set them somewhere safe! Make sure they come to a complete stop so they don't go flying when I resume time!" Naruto ordered.
Fujitora nodded and used his sword to lift the small team up and set them safely by Dubois' castle doors.
"They're out of the way!" Fujitora said, flying himself away now.
Naruto smiled and ran towards Kraken. Naruto took a glance towards Cyclone who continued looking down at the blast, but upon closer inspection... Cyclone was following Naruto's movements with his eyes!
"Wh-What!?" Naruto let out, accidentally resuming time.
Luffy blasted away with gear 2 as the fire pillar blasted towards Naruto and Kraken. Hinata and Boa realized they were by the castle.
"Huh? When did we get here?" Boa asked.
"I think Naruto-kun used his ability to get us to safety." Hinata said.
"If that's so, where's Luffy?" Boa asked.
The two looked up when they heard Luffy yell.
"NARUTO! KRAKEN!" Luffy yelled.
"NO!" Naruto yelled, sending two truth seekers out. One turned into a small hand and grabbed Kraken and the other lodged in the ground in the distance. Naruto used this to teleport himself and Kraken to safety.
"What speed!" Fujitora commented.
Naruto looked back at Luffy.
"Alright!" Luffy yelled, before he felt a mysterious force.
Cyclone pulled his hand back and Luffy was snatched back towards the flame pillar.
"WHAT!?" Naruto yelled.
Kraken snapped out of it to see Luffy being pulled towards the flame.
"LUFFYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" Kraken screamed, almost losing his voice.
"NOOOOOO! LUFFY!" Hancock screamed at the top of her lungs.
Sanji watched with disbelief.
"No... CAPTAIN!" Sanji yelled.
IN CYCLONE'S MIND
The emerald form of Cyclone slammed a heavy punch into Luffy's stomach, knocking the gear fourth power from his body. Luffy deflated and crashed down by Naruto and Fujitora. A gummy pink aura attached to his body, but nobody could see it.
DUBOIS'S CASTLE COURTYARD
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
The fire pillar completely swallowed Luffy and cut an entire chunk off the island and destroyed Kraken's ship.
"LUFFY! OH MY GOD NO!" Boa yelled, running towards the explosion.
"BOA STOP!" Hinata yelled.
Sanji was now frozen with fear.
Kakashi and Sasuke didn't know what to say or do.
Naruto and Kraken had a thousand yard stares.
"Luffy..." Naruto said softly.
Tears fell from Kraken's eyes.
When the fire subsided, Luffy's charred body laid on its back.
Inside Duboi's castle it was pitch black. A giant shoe could be seen, then an old man with long white grey hair and a long grey beard. His eyes were hidden by shadow. The giant man grumbled deeply and low.
Cyclone slowly lowered to the ground and approached Luffy.
"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM HIM YOU MONSTER!" Boa yelled, running towards Cyclone.
Cyclone blasted a powerful beam at Boa, but it was intercepted by a beam from Lionel at the last second, blowing up and blowing Hancock away from Cyclone.
Lionel coughed up blood and fell back out.
Boa got up with tears in her eyes.
"Why... why are you keeping me away from him!?" Boa yelled to the sky, running for Luffy again.
"Boa please stop!" Kakashi yelled.
Cyclone looked back at Boa and suddenly, Boa felt an energy behind her, almost like Cyclone was about to cut her down. Boa turned around but nobody was there! Cyclone was really in front of her attempting to stab her through the chest with his sword.
"You're annoying..." Cyclone said coldly.
Dum...dum dum...d-d-dum...d-d-dum...
Cyclone stopped and his eyes widened. Cyclone's face might have actually even have fear.
Dum dum dum dum- dum dum dum dum!
The beating of drums could slowly be heard. The sound of drums became more intense as even symbols could be heard!
Cyclone looked back at Luffy, who's body was leaking white smoke.
"No... IMPOSSIBLE!" Cyclone yelled dashing for Luffy's body, the beating of the drums became more intense!
"L-Luffy!?" Kraken said with shock.
"What is this Kraken!? What's going on!? Is Luffy okay?" Naruto asked.
Fujitora couldn't believe it.
When Cyclone made it to Luffy's body he was blasted by a burst of conqueror's haki.
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Cyclone yelled as he was blasted away in a burst of wind.
The drums had now reached their peak and sounded like an entire village having a big party!
INSIDE DUBOI'S CASTLE
The giant old man could hear the beating of the drums and slowly opened his eyes.
"Is it you...? Have you finally returned after 800 long years?..." The old man asked in a deep, granite voice.
DUBOIS'S CASTLE COURTYARD
Luffy's hair changed white and covered his eyes. Cyclone couldn't believe what he was seeing. As the drums sounded, Cyclone could see himself in a village of gold, people happily dancing and bouncing as they moved in a circle around a big fire. The man in the center bouncing up and down happily with a sword in one hand and a spear in the other. The man bounced high into the sky and ran on the air past the sun, showing his shadow silhouette.
As Cyclone watched Luffy's transformation, Cyclone breathed heavily in and out.
INSIDE DUBOI'S CASTLE
The giant old man was quiet for a moment.
"Joy boy... is that you?" The old man asked.
Outside the castle, Luffy smiled a big goofy smile as he laid on the ground.
