Disclaimer:

I do not own Trolls or these songs. Sorry it took so long to update. I had several tests to take care of and school has to come first. I also have been getting over a cold this weekend; just my luck, so I have been resting. Inspired by the fanfic Lone Concert by Dawnbuneary. Hope y'all enjoy!

The moment we all have been waiting for is finally here. The day has finally come. The day we all have been waiting for. It is time for the Big Royal Broppy Wedding. Everyone was excited. Branch was in his bunker with his brothers and Dad getting ready while the grandparents were looking after the grandkids. Poppy was in her parent's pod with her mom, soon-to-be mom, Suki, and soon-to-be sisters with Bridget standing right outside of her parent's pod. Satin and Chenille had gotten Poppy's hair, nails, and makeup ready. Poppy was taking deep breaths knowing what was to come next and she was a little sad at how her dress had turned out, but little did she know that her mom had come to save the day. The day before Viva had made a secret plan with the twins to alter her old wedding dress and trim the skirt to Poppy's liking. So when Satin and Chenille came out with this beautiful gown that looked strangely similar to the one her mom wore in her wedding photos she could not help but get teary eyed at the thought. It was perfect, she thought. Only when Viva explained to Poppy that this was indeed her dress that she wore on her wedding day Poppy not only had to redo her makeup because of the tears that were falling but she rushed to hug her mom tightly. The dress was indeed perfect.

When Peppy went to see his daughter he stood at the entrance of the pod's door absolutely breathless. She looked so much like her mother did on their wedding day. She was a vision of beauty. "Oh, Poppy. I think I am going to cry." Peppy said walking to his child. "Oh, daddy. Don't you start crying. Because if you start to cry then I'm gonna start to cry. And that's just gonna be a whole mess." Poppy said, causing her father to laugh. "Ok, but no promises." Peppy said, taking his daughter into his arms for a hug. Once they parted Poppy looked around at her family and could not help but smile even bigger. She was about to get four sisters (Carol, Barb, Holly, and Brandy) and she had always wanted to have a sister since forever and now she was going to have four. When Poppy looked over at her soon-to-be mother-in-law Val was already making her way towards the active Queen. "I wanted to give you this as your something borrowed for today. It was a gift John gave me on our first anniversary." She held out a simple little necklace with a heart on it and then gestured to Poppy silently asking if she could put it on her. Poppy felt touched by Val's actions and nodded to her yes. Once the necklace was on Poppy placed a gentle hand on it as if any pressure to it would break it forever. It was simple, but when John first gave the necklace to Val he did not have much money before the band started up. But to Poppy and Val it was the most special thing ever. Poppy then hugged Val thanking her for the gift that she will return once the wedding is over. When Poppy looked back in the mirror to see her full outfit now finished her nerves thankful washed away and all that she felt was pure joy.

Branch for once in his life was not nervous. He was not overthinking every little detail. He was not stressing on his everything being perfect. He felt relaxed because not only did he have his family heping out with everything but he was also about to marry the troll that held his heart. The love of his life and he could not be anymore ready. Branch was in his room trying to tie his tie but was having trouble. He had done bow ties several times before but today he needed a tie tie and just could not get it right. John was watching his son struggle before walking up to him offering him help. Branch just sighed and said yes. When he turned to his father it felt surreal having his dad help him with his tie. It was one of those moments that they both wished that they could have done when Branch was younger. John was glad Branch actually allowed him to help. Once he was done with the tie he looked his boy up and down and smiled. "I am so proud of the man that you have become and I wish with everything that your mother and I could have been there to have helped you through the hard times." John said, trying not to get choked up. Branch just smiled at his dad and looked him in the eyes. "You two are here now and that means everything to me." The two heard a knocking on the door frame and they turned their heads to see Clay standing there ready to go in a suit and bow tie. "It's time. Ready?" He asked with a smirking grin.

The wedding was being held outside not only for Bridget and King Gristle's sack but because the entire kingdom would be attending. This was the event of the year and no one wanted to miss it. Everyone headed to the giant mushroom where Royal events were usually held and much to everyone's amusement Clay was the one to be officiating the entire event. Suki had her DJ turntables set up and she was playing a melody version of True Colors as everyone found their places. Clay thought that she looked beautiful in her pale pink bridesmaids jumpsuit. Suki went with Clay to start the ceremony. Everyone found their spots, all of Poppy and Branch friends and family were placed on a smaller mushroom towards the front.

Branch and his brothers got into place and before he knew it he saw Clay walking down with Suki they went to the respected places. Then Suki started to play the music for Poppy to walk down. Everyone stood and looked at all the bridemaids walking down the aisle. Since Bridget could not walk down the aisle due to her size she was blocking Branch's and everyone else's view of the Bride and the Father of the Bride. When it was time for Poppy to make her big entrance Bridget removed her hands and went to stand by her boyfriend. When Branch saw Poppy his heart stopped and he could not breath. She looked absolutely beautiful. He could not help but smile as a single tear of love and joy fell down his cheek. Branch was only paying attention to Poppy and not to his brothers, sisters, and parents giving one another knowing looks. Barb was smirking, Spruce was looking towards his wife as he pulled Floyd in who was wiping tears away, Val placed her head on her husbands shoulder, and Clay was shooting Suki one of the biggest grins he could. Holly much like during the double wedding was looking at Biggie who was manning the video cameras like he did that day as well, but this time we was fully looking back at her meeting her gaze.

When Poppy reached Branch she was so giddy with excitement. She just could not stop smiling. She knew that whatever was to happen in the future she could face it all with Branch by her side. King Peppy finished walking his beloved daughter down the aisle and went to find his seat next to his wife. As everyone seated back down Clay began. "Ladies and Gentletrolls. Thank you all for being here today for the marriage of Branch Timberlake and Poppy Blosom. We are gathered here today to celebrate love, true love in its purest form. Now I will not bore you with a long winded speech, but I will say this before our lovely couple say their vows. When I first met Branch and Poppy it was in the worst of circumstances. I had found out that my brother had been alone and we were all about to die, but it was with the love, determination, and dedication that these two trolls have for one another that not only did we all make it through that terrible time, but it also proves that with the right person by our side not only can we find happiness. We also can find the light in any darkness and make it through to the other side." Clay finished his little speech and there was not a dry eye in the room. Clay turned to Branch. "Poppy, you have been there for me through my darkest moments when no else would and you never gave up on me even when I gave you reason too. I promise to spend the rest of my life trying to return the favor, because I love you." Poppy smiled at Branch. "Branch, you showed me that life is more than just cupcakes and rainbows. That there are grey areas too, but just because something isn't bright and colorful it doesn't make it any less beautiful. That's one of my favorite lessons that I have ever learned in life and I love you for that." Branch did not know how this one troll was back to make him love her more and more each day but she always seemed to find a way to. "Now for the rings." Clay said as Dixie and Tiny walked up to Poppy and Branch each handing them a ring. "Branch do you, take Poppy to be your lawfully wedded wife, through sickness, glitter, and in health. To have and to hold till death do you part?" Branch took a deep breath in as he placed a ring on Poppy's left hand. "I do." Clay then turned to Poppy. "Poppy do you, take Branch to be your lawfully wedded husband, through sickness, grumpy moods, and in health. To have and to hold till death do you part?" Poppy nodded vigerously as she placed the ring on Branch's left hand. "I do." Clay's heart swelled as he was calming his breath. "I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss the troll."

When Branch pulled Poppy into the kiss everyone cheered to the newly wedded couple. As they pulled apart Poppy grabbed the bouquet of light pink poppys from Barb and turned around getting ready to throw them, but she had lost her balance during the toss and the flowers ended up in the direction of Suki's turntable where she caught it. Spruce could not help but laugh at the look on Clay's face. "Looks like you're next. Mr. Serious Boy Clay." Spruce said to his brother who just gave him a nervous smile in return. Branch then led his wife away from the altar and to where they were going to have the reception, everyone followed suit and the set up was marvoulus. When they arrived there Branch took Poppy into his arms and led her to the middle of the dance floor in front for all to see. He planned something out with Glitz and Suki; a secret treat for Poppy and both of their families. As Suki got to her booth and started to play a slow melody, Glitz followed along and led their fellow glow bugs into setting the mood with the lighting. Branch with his arm led Poppy around him and then pulled her close to him. He started to waltz with her in the middle of the floor infront of the entire kingdom. Then Branch did the one thing he thought he would never do again. He sang infront of everyone. Not just infront of Poppy. Not just infront of theri friends. Not just infront of their families. But infront of everyone.

I've been alone

I've been afraid

I've been a fool

In so many ways

But I would change my life

If you thought you might try to love me

So please give me another chance

To write you another song

Take back those things I've done

'Cause I'll give you my heart

If you would let me start all over again

Poppy listened to the lyrics and was confused at first. Branch hasn't done anything worthy of an apology, but then she went through them again and finally understood what he meant. This was their story. The story of her effect in his life. How he was grey and alone and would never let anyone in. How even though he was cruel she never gave up on him. He wanted to apoligize for that. He wanted to start fresh now that they were married and show that he would not make the same mistake from the past. This was his wedding vow to her.

I'm not a saint

I'm just a man

Who had heaven and earth

In the palm of his hand

But I threw it away

So now I stand here today

Asking forgiveness

And if you could just

Please, give me another chance

To write you another song

Take back those things I've done

'Cause I'll give you my heart

If you would let me start all over again

Branch continued to sing and dance with Poppy and the entire kingdom saw the love and regret for how he acted during his grey period. They also knew that it was Poppy alone who never gave up on him even when he had given up on himself. They all felt regret for just how easily they had tossed the little grey trolling aside because it was easier than doing the hard thing and actually helping him. Poppy truly is a great Queen and they all knew when the time came Branch would make a wonderful King as well.

Cause Poppy, you're all I've got

Don't you leave me standing here once again

'Cause I'll give you my life

If you would let me try to love you

So please give me another chance

To write you another song

And take back those things I've done

'Cause I'll give you my heart

You know I love you

And I know you love me

As Branch finished singing Glitz and the other glow bugs began to settle down and the music Suki was playing was getting softer. Soon Branch and Poppy stopped dancing and their first dance as a married couple had been completed. Poppy pulled her husband into a passionate kiss that did get a lot of cheers for Branch's side of the family. Poppy could not help but giggle into the kiss as she heard the noise. Poppy wanted to give something as special to Branch as he has given her. She pulled away and looked at the man who she will spend the rest of her life with. "Remeber when you said that you know my favorite song. Well Branch you're my favorite song. The one where everything's not wrong, I could play it all night long. Until the sun comes rolling up. You are my favorite tune and you know what to do. So come on now on two. Let's take it from the top. You are my favorite song. Branch I love you." Poppy said. It was at that moment when something amazing happened. Right as Branch pressed his lips to Poppy's and blinding blue light appeared and engulfed the couple. When the light had died down everyone was shocked to see what was infront of them. Branch may have already had his colors back and they were getting stronger everyday, but it was at that moment that they had come back in full force. He was a bright cyan blue again like his family and his hair was a vibrant indigo.

When Poppy opened her eyes she could not believe the sight before her. Her husband. Her Branch. Had his colors back. All the way back. "Branch! Look at your hands." She said excitedly. Branch did as he was told and his breath caught in his throat. He never thought he would ever have his colors back to this extent but now at this moment he felt happier than he had ever felt before. As Val looked at her son and his wife she could instantly see just how much more Branch looked like his father John Dory with his full colors back. John just felt so much joy for his son. Branch truly deserved this. He then did a very dad move that did make Branch grimace and Poppy giggle. "I told you she was a keeper!" Val could not help but laugh and agree with her husband as they watched their son and daughter-in-law go off to start their honeymoon. It warmed their hearts and broke it when they saw that their baby boy was all grown up now. The now larger Timberlake family could not wait to see what next new adventure layed in wait to these two trolls and they could not wait to be along for the ride.

Again sorry it took longer than expected to write and post this chapter. Thank you for your patents. Also I felt like this song just sums up the whole Lone Concert saga and is the perfect song for Branch to finally say I am ready to sing in public again. So change of plans I will be adding one more chapter before starting the epic chapter I had promised. I just think by doing this it will help the story be smoother. Also I had just come up with an idea that I absolutely love. Hey you will get more of the story before I take a break to finish up the final two chapters after the epic chapter. Which will be very much needed because of all the engergy put into that chapter. So this week you will get two chapters this week (this one and the next one) and I will be working on the epic chapter after that and post it as soon as I am done with it. Like I do with every other chapter. Family will be the final chapter and I will finish editing it this week so when I get Chapter 44 done I can post our final chapter the following morning. That is my plan but things do change so don't hold me to anything until it is done. I hope you enjoyed yet another chapter and until the next time. Bye-bye for now.
