Layla and Grandine were not women to be messed with.

They were diabolical in their tactics and emotions and they were very observant women. Best friends from hell, their husbands liked to jokingly say. Only because they got themselves in way too much shit that may have caused a couple too many fights, a last minute lawyer, and of course, bail. They didn't like to talk about it often, especially since they didn't want their kids to find out, but the thing was: the two women were a couple of nutcases.

They may have not been the best at keeping their tongues in check, especially since their husbands aren't like the average asshole of a businessman. Igneel and Jude were very loving and supportive. They weren't the type to ask their wife to sit and look pretty at all times. They gave them the freedom to speak their minds, do what they wish, and also look very pretty.

While Layla and Grandine did have a hard time keeping their opinions to themselves at times, they knew the time and place. They knew not to overstep during business meetings or conversations.

It's also the perk of having husbands who were big in the business world and having women who were very supportive and beautiful.

Grandine and Layla were the deadly duo of the business world. Beauty like no other and tongues sharp and eyes sharper. They saw and heard everything.

It didn't help that they were also very big into gossip and could be labeled caddy but whatever.

When it came to adults it was a breeze. Children were inclined to blab their feelings so that's whatever but it really put these two women in deep waters were their own children.

Layla and Grandine had their suspicions and they gossiped rather deeply about their kid's love affair. Natsu and Lucy weren't shy to show the world they really didn't like each other and have often said or done things that didn't seem healthy or appropriate. Natsu just seemed like he wanted to create problems and poke the bear and Lucy was the mama bear who did not like being poked. She had her way with words and she reacted off emotion more often than she should but she was level headed. Natsu on the other hand didn't seem to care what his consequence was as long as he had the last word in.

But something about them shifted and Layla and Grandine could practically smell the air was different with them.

Of course when they had stormed off inside, the family had decided maybe it was time for them to come back home as well. And of course when they had come back inside, it was quiet.

No shouting, no cursing, no loud noises, and even when they had lingered outside their door to make sure nobody was dead (mainly Natsu), it was nothing. They definitely heard their voices on the other end so nothing to worry about and Igneel was quick to shoo the women away so much to their disappointment.

But when Natsu and Lucy had come back, they both seemed suspiciously happy.

Not like Layla didn't like to see her baby girl happy and smiling and especially accepting her eye candy of a husband but she was oddly happy. And Natsu was too.

They came out all smiles and small bumps of the shoulder and she swore Natsu had brushed his hand up against her back in an intimate way. It made her shiver for God's sake.

So as she sipped on her wine and eyed the couple across the table from her while nudging Grandine with her feet, she tried to read between the lines. What could have possibly happened in the last hour or two that had these two not be at each other's throats like normal, especially after what Natsu had said.

Grandine always said he wasn't the brightest and Natsu reminded her a lot of young Igneel. Natsu was indeed an asshole, Layla wasn't blind to that. But she adored him and she could see Natsu wasn't entirely a dick. His personality reflected light and carelessness, much like his parents, but of course, he did have that spoiled side to him. Nobody was to blame but Grandine and Igneel. How could she blame them?

But what was it?!

"Can you stop staring or just say what you need to say already?" Lucy had snapped her out of her deep thinking and she looked up to see all eyes were on hers.

"What?" Layla sounded uncharacteristically dumb.

"You've been staring at us for the past thirty minutes, mom," the younger blonde sighed. "What? Do I have something on my face or something?"

"Oh," Layla flushed as she realized her mistake. She exchanged a wary look with her husband and a quick knowing look with Grandine who hid her smile behind her glass. "Nothing, nothing." She quickly dismissed it, taking a sip of her own wine to ignore the looks.

"You clearly have something on your mind," Lucy rolled her eyes. "Just say it."

"I think your mother just dozed off for a minute," Grandine came in to save the day. Layla tossed her an appreciating glance and the Dragneel woman smiled wider. "That game really wore us out. We're not as young and active as you two." She teased and Natsu was now rolling his eyes.

"Which, by the way, you cheated in." Igneel piped in to have Layla give him a hard glare.

"I did not cheat!"

"You punched me in the face and made my daughter cry!"

"Oh, that's nothing!" Layla scoffed, completely unaware of the looks her husband and daughter were exchanging across the table. "I wouldn't have punched you if you weren't being such a sore loser!"

"I was not!"

Grandine could only watch from the corner of her eyes as Natsu and Lucy whispered to one another and she swore Natsu had tried to grab her hand under the table. Or was she just imagining this? Maybe she had a little too much wine.

—X—

Laying in bed beside her boyfriend, Lucy felt content and comfortable for once. Her boyfriend didn't bother her and was in his own world as he scrolled through his phone with the television on while she got to read a new book she had cracked open. He ate snacks and left the bag between them so she could pick at the chips once in a while.

She felt like this war was over between them since Natsu had confessed he had feelings for her and she felt that it was necessary to call a truce. He had kissed her silly, making her dizzy and flustered and the way this man can kiss had her weak to her knees. He could probably convince her to do anything with his lips on hers and it made her angry that he had such control over her with something as simple as a kiss.

He was her first anyway. First everything at this point.

They've only really stopped since they heard Natsu's father ushering people away from their door and it made them realize what kind of position they were in.

Natsu had coaxed her to the bed, hovering over her as they kissed hotly and his hands were up her dress. They had time to scramble away and they were both red in the face but they eventually calmed down and had come to a truce. Natsu promised to try to be a better boyfriend for her and Lucy had promised to stop taking his words so personally.

She never realized how much Natsu liked to tease and she didn't know half the time he was, which created so many fights.

But now as they laid in bed after an awkward dinner, the silence and peace grew on them as they enjoyed each other's presence.

Seeing how this was a romance novel, Lucy could feel the blush spread across her cheeks at a particularly cheesy moment and she side-eyed her boyfriend beside her. He was half interested on the television and half interested in whatever game he had on his phone, eyes darting back and forth slowly.

She felt nervous as she wondered if she should be asking him questions about himself or about their future. She felt this was important but it ate away at her because how was she supposed to just come out and ask these things? She couldn't even look him in the eyes long before she started to blush and quiver.

"So, um, Natsu?" She squeaked and she cursed herself for sounding so soft.

He hummed, not bothering to look at her or move as he was now staring at the television, munching away.

"Well, uh, um, I—" she paused, trying to find the right words as she set her book down on her knees. "Well, I—I just—well, I—"

"Spit it out, already." He said, shoving a handful of chips in his mouth. The crumbs fell on his chest and Natsu didn't bother to brush them away, going back to his game on his phone.

Lucy huffed, the blush spreading through her face as she cleared her throat. "Well, how many kids do you want?"

Natsu paused mid-way from the bag to his mouth, turning his head slightly to get a better view of his girlfriend who sat beside him with a shy expression. She had her knees pulled up with her book laid out and she was trying her best to keep eye contact but she looked very uncomfortable. It just made him snort as he resumed his task of eating and he grabbed the bag between them to shove it to the nightstand. He sat up and brushed the crumbs away that sat on his chest and he finally gave her his attention which Lucy felt was more awkward.

"You want to talk kids?"

"Well I—I'm not saying—I just—I think we should consider that we would have to produce a grandchild." Lucy sputtered, feeling awkward about the whole thing while she felt her hairline moisten. "So we're on the same page about it."

Natsu felt his lips twitch in amusement and he wet his lips, tasting the saltiness of the chips and his eyes found hers. "What's the sudden interest?"

"No reason…" Lucy tightened her fingers around her hardcover and she moved it away so it sat to her side. "So… how many kids do you want?"

"I think that's a question you should be answering considering you're the one carrying them." He mused, looking around for pillows.

Lucy watched how Natsu gathered pillows to prop them against the headboard and lean back on them, finding a comfortable position. He looked at her, waiting for her answer and it made her straighten her back in reaction. She bit down on her bottom lip and nervously chewed, thinking about children and how many.

She's never really considered children. Yeah, maybe one day but maybe not at twenty. But now looking at her timeline, she would probably have popped out a kid or two by the time she was twenty five.

"Well, I think two is appropriate. Hopefully a boy and a girl." She blushed, fidgeting with the corner of the blanket. "What about you?"

"Boy and a girl is nice," he nodded, crossing his arms as he brought his hand to his chin. "What if it's a boy and a boy? Or both girls? Do we keep trying?"

"Well I guess that depends. I'm sure a boy would be more beneficial to our families as a next heir but girls are important, too. I don't want to be popping out four to five or even six kids just because we get all girls or all boys, you know?"

"Right." Natsu hummed, as he started thinking about it as well. "Well, I guess that means one boy and one girl? And possibly a third if the odds aren't in our favor of same sex children."

"Okay, so stop it at three." She confirmed and Natsu nodded right back. Lucy started to feel a bit more comfortable as she let her shoulders relax. "What about names?" She continued and Natsu hummed in response. "I like the name Nasha for a girl."

"Nasha?" He repeated, eyebrows knitted as he thought about it. "What about a boy?"

"I don't know, I haven't thought that far." Lucy smiled as Natsu smiled back. "Maybe you can name the boy."

"What if we have all girls?"

"Then you can name one of them." Lucy held her finger up as he opened his mouth. "Something appropriate and nice. Nothing that would get them bullied."

Natsu rolled his eyes, scoffing playfully as he closed his mouth in his retort. He found it amusing that they were sitting here talking about their future kids when just this morning they were willing to rip each other's throats out. But now that he thinks about it, it doesn't seem too bad to have children with this woman. She was beautiful and kind and smart and he hoped their kids would get most of their mother's genes. They would go further with hers than his.

"How about sports?"

"Whatever they like. I would like for them to be active so maybe one or two, depending if they like them or not. I'm not quite fond of forcing someone into doing something they particularly hate or aren't good at."

"Like you with tennis?" He snickered and he chuckled when she shot him a glare.

"I didn't realize my boyfriend was such a comedian."

"Well, you don't know your boyfriend then because I'm the funniest guy I know."

Lucy laughed at this and it was like tinkling bells in his ears. He could feel himself relax and he let out a small sigh.

"I hope our kids have your laugh."

Lucy choked on her spit at this, her hand flying up to cover her coughs and gasps as it was his turn to laugh. She gave him a glare through her redness and he flashed her a grin.

"I would want our daughter to know how to fight. Defend herself if anything were to happen."

"What could happen to her?" Lucy asked, gawking at the male. "Why do you think that way?"

"Come on," he rolled his eyes, pulling one of his knees up so he could lean against it. "You're a Heartfillia and I'm a Dragneel. We get two of the most powerful rich companies together and merge businesses and produce grandkids, they're basically a living target for ransom."

Lucy frowned at this, now realizing what kind of targets their kids were going to have on their backs. Her body ran cold and a shiver ran down her spine as she thought about one of her kids getting kidnapped or hurt or—

"Lucy," his soft chuckled brought her out and she turned to look at him. "I didn't mean to worry you. I'm just saying it's a precaution." He saw that this didn't help her at all and her wide eyes were becoming glossy so he sighed. He reached over to place a hand on her knee and she had softened slightly. "I'm sorry, you're right, I shouldn't have even said anything."

"You think?"

"The point is, our kids should learn self defense for their safety." He said which earned a nod from the blonde. He gave her knee a light squeeze and retracted his hand, letting out a yawn. "Any more questions for the night my sweet girlfriend of mine?" He teased making her roll her eyes. "You need to get that habit under control."

"You're the one I got it from!"

"I swear if our kid rolls their eyes at me I'm going to lose it."

Lucy laughed out loud at this, head tossed back and mouth open wide for her teeth to show. Natsu smiled lovingly at this, seeing how she brightened up with her laughter.

"I think that's all I have for now. I'll let you know when I think of more." She said, her smile becoming soft.

"What's with the kid talk anyways?" He eyed her as she got herself more comfortable, leaning forward to fluff her own pillows and extend her legs out.

He watched how her nightie slipped up her leg as she stretched and sighed, her body sinking deeper underneath the covers. His ogling was cut short when she let out a small giggle. "My eyes are up here," she gave him a teasing smile. He just smiled back sheepishly. "Just wondering. Feel like it's important."

"It is," he leaned over to come closer to her, sharing her pillow with her as he laid on his side with his arm to support his head. "They'll be perfect." He grinned as he brushed her hair away from her forehead. "They'll have Dragneel blood in them."

Lucy rolled her eyes again and Natsu snorted at her reaction, flicking her forehead as she cried out.

"Stop rolling your eyes."

"I don't even realize I'm doing it!"

"Now that's a problem." He smiled at her scowl. "Hey, can I kiss you?"

Lucy flushed deep crimson and she turned her head away, her palm pressed against her forehead from his abuse. "I—it's embarrassing when you ask." She pouted, refusing to meet his eyes and he chuckled.

"Would you prefer me do it without asking?"

"Honestly? Yeah."

"Okay," he said as he leaned in to kiss her right on the lips. She tensed up and a shiver ran down her spine as she felt his warmth and he was gone before she could even think about kissing him back. "It's like I'm kissing a statue." He joked and Lucy growled at him before swatting him at the shoulder. "I'm kidding," he said but the way he was looking, Lucy knew he wasn't.

"I—I'm just not used to it, alright? I told you, you're my first k—kiss…" She mumbled the end of her sentence, looking away from him bashfully.

"Then I guess I'll just have to kiss you more, huh?" He asked with a smirk, expecting her to hit or yell at him but the way her face grew redder made it drop slightly.

She just looked utterly adorable with those wide brown orbs of hers and that pout on her lips. His heart skipped a beat and he had to twist his head away to collect himself.

How was she this cute?!

"Okay." She said in a hush and he swallowed hard before turning to look at her again.

"Okay." He repeated and they just stared at one another before Natsu was leaning in once more to steal her lips.

This time, the kiss wasn't as fast or stiff as she embraced the contact. It was a bit awkward with the way they were positioned, her nose practically poked his chin as his lips found hers. She had adjusted herself slightly to lean her head upwards so she could kiss him properly and his nose wasn't bumping with her own chin.

They were soft kisses. Peppered over and over as Lucy was afraid of deepening it but the way his lips felt on hers had her shivering as his hand found purchase in her hair. He tilted her head sideways and pulled her closer, his other hand slipping down to grasp her hip. She whimpered against his lips as he stuck his tongue out and slid it across her lip and once she had parted her lips, he was exploring.

The noises she produced was something Natsu was familiar with, his body tingling at the delight she was feeling. He kept trying to grab for something—anything—as he kept reeling her in and soon she was flush against his body.

Lucy felt like the room was spinning and incredibly hot. Like really, really hot and her body was tingling and she was drooling as Natsu sucked up her spit. He was really talented with his tongue and he was stroking hers that had her body quivering. It also didn't help that she could feel his hand rub her up and down from her hips to her upper back and the hand he had fisted in her hair was keeping her in place.

She was grateful he had pulled away when he did because she was gasping for air as he collected himself.

"Have you ever done anything else?" He asked, eyes hooded and Lucy could feel her heart race.

"L—like what?" She stuttered, eyes widening. "Like… sex?" She said in a whisper and the corner of Natsu's lips twitched.

"I know you're a virgin, dummy," he watched as she narrowed her eyes. "I mean… anything else?"

"Like what?"

Natsu didn't know if she was playing dumb or if she actually didn't know and he felt embarrassed to say anything else. He scowled at her and narrowed his own eyes, swallowing the lump in his throat. "Nothing, never mind."

Lucy sighed through her nose, twisting her lip to the side as she looked up at the male who was halfway on top of her. "If I never kissed a guy, what makes you think I did anything else?"

"It's just a question."

"A dumb question."

Natsu glared down at her and Lucy could only smile at him which he now rolled his own eyes at. Lucy flicked him on the forehead and he gawked at her, surprised as he pressed his hand to his forehead. "What was that for!"

"You rolled your eyes!"

"I did not!"

"You definitely did!"

Natsu growled and pulled away from her, feeling annoyed that he was caught in his own act and how she had used his own tactic against him. He felt powerless for a minute and he was not rocking with it. So he did what he was known to do best: pout and sulk. So that's what he did. He sat away from her with his arms crossed and turned his head away like the little brat he was.

He just heard Lucy giggle and then shift on the bed and she was pressed against his side and he was very aware of how her large globes were touching his bicep.

"You're such a baby," she teased, a playful smile on her lips. "Were you thinking of something?"

"What?" He asked, confused and irritated.

"You asked if I ever did anything else," she had a small tint of pink on her cheeks. "Did you… want to try something? Or were you just asking?"

Natsu jolted in his spot as the shiver ran down his spine and he craned his neck to look at his girlfriend with wide eyes. He felt his mouth open in shock and he stared down at her. It was hard for him to keep his eyes on her as his eyes kept going back and forth between her cleavage and then her face but he eventually won against his demons as he stared into those doe eyes of hers.

"Are you…" he found himself in shock. "Are you offering to—"

"No!" Lucy quickly squeaked, pushing away from him as her face grew beet red. "I—I just—I meant I—" She sputtered and now Natsu was slowly smirking and he was feeling like the ball had been tossed back to his court. "I—I'm just saying—I'm curious what you meant! Not offering! Just asking!"

"How far are you willing to go?" He asked, leaning over towards her who squealed and swatted him against the shoulder.

"Nowhere! Stop it!"

"You said it!"

"No!" Natsu took the chance to pounce on her and she shrieked, trying to get away from him but he was much larger and much stronger than her. "Natsu, stop!"

"We can go as far as you want." He snickered and his hands were sliding up her bare thighs and Lucy was squealing again. He laughed out loud at her flusterness and he had a shit-eating grin on his face as she retaliated, throwing her arms around as she tried to kick him off.

"Ugh, you're such a pig!"

"I'm kidding, Luce. I'm not going to do anything you're not comfortable with." He scoffed, pulling his hands away. "Who do you think I am?"

"Pervert." She grumbled under her breath and she found him leaning in close till their noses were bumping. Her eyes went wide and cross-eyed as she looked at him and his grin just widened.

"For you," he said breathlessly before he kissed her again and that was pretty much all Lucy remembered as her mind went blank with his lips and hands.

When Layla had woken up the next morning, she was shell-shocked to see with her own eyes what she was witnessing. So shocking, she had rubbed her eyes, slapped herself in the face and then finally was left scurrying to find her best friend. She didn't care if it was seven in the morning and Igneel was probably all cuddled up with his wife at this hour. Grandine was hers before she was his so she had every right to burst into the room and shake her awake, scaring the two Dragneel's out of their pants.

Layla hushed Igneel's curses and confusion as she practically dragged Grandine out of bed who was just in her nightie (Heartfillia classic, thank you!) and she held her finger to her lips to hush her confused protests.

The blue-haired Dragneel was not a morning person and for her to be dragged out of bed this early after the late night (and many drinks) she had the night prior had her daydreaming about a quick and easy death for her best friend. Of course that was until Layla had brought her to god knows where to show her what had woken her best friend and now her up.

Seeing how Natsu and Lucy were curled up together in the screen patio, Grandine slapped a hand over her mouth as she caught the gasp that was trying to fly out.

Layla had a wide grin to her face, nodding her head rapidly like an excited kid who was granted permission to eat dessert before dinner and the two quickly tip-toed to take a better look.

Standing in front of the two, the two were in tears with their hands pressed against their hearts as Natsu held Lucy as if she was some porcelain doll. He sat in the large spacious egg chair with Lucy curled up in his lap, her head leaning against his shoulder as his strong arms held her in place. His head leaned against the top of hers, cheek puffed from the contact. There was a cup of cold coffee that sat on the small side table and a book that laid out in Lucy's lap.

The two looked so cute and picture perfect, Grandine was waving at Layla to go grab something to take a photo and the blonde was quick on her feet, rushing to grab her phone.

Grandine could only sigh happily and pressed her hand against her cheek, smiling at the couple. She remembered when she and Igneel were younger and fell in love and she felt joy inside of her chest to think Natsu and Lucy had finally accepted one another.

And they looked so good together, how can anyone not think they belonged together?

When Lucy had woken up, she was confused where she was and why her back and neck hurt so bad. She had a kink in her neck but she was incredibly warm so she didn't mind but her body was screaming for her to stretch. So as she opened her eyes and took in her surroundings, she could see Natsu with his head leaning against the wall and snoring with drool pooling out the corner of his mouth. He snored loudly but his arms were still around her, as if he was keeping her in place and the blush spread rapidly.

Her squirming caused Natsu to whine and his arms tightened around her in instinct and she groaned, trying to free herself from his grasps as her body ached.

Eventually he had let her go and she wobbled on her feet as she stood up. She stretched her arms up and let out a sigh as her bones cracked. She rolled her neck in a circle and heard the pops of her joints. "How long have we been out here?" She muttered to herself, seeing how her book was now on the floor and the sun was up.

She reached down and grabbed her book to place it next to Natsu's coffee mug and she looked around in disinterest.

She had woken up real early this morning and was surprised to see Natsu waking up with her. He was ready to go back to bed but Lucy was wide awake, wanting to go read a book on the beach or pool and Natsu just moaned about her being up too early and being loud. But he still refused to let her go off on her own so he had dragged himself out of bed. Especially after their sweet night together, he was more inclined to be around this sweet smelling of a woman who gave sweeter kisses and the sweetest touches.

She made promises of coffee so he was a bit more comfortable being dragged out of bed at six in the morning but he followed her like a sleepy puppy and he kissed her good morning. She was all giggles and blushes and he was more awake by the time the coffee was made and her lips were attached to his.

She poured him a cup of coffee and dragged him out to the screen patio before he even had a taste of the liquid gold. Seeing how the sun rose and the ocean water crashed against the shore, she swore she could see dolphins and Natsu just snorted.

He had taken a seat on the egg chair and he asked for her to come but she was still so very shy and flushed before he had taken her hand and dragged her onto his lap. She was pouting and refused to look at him but he was just as teasing as he always was, tickling her sides and peppering kisses on her face and soon she was giggling and squirming in his hold.

Natsu enjoyed his morning view and morning coffee with his girlfriend in his lap who read her novel. He enjoyed the crash of the ocean water and the sqwacks of the seagulls and before he knew it, he had nodded off.

Lucy on the other hand had giggled at the way he drooled and snored, his head drooping uncomfortably. She had adjusted him just enough and herself so he could lay on her shoulder. She had nuzzled herself deeper into his lap and chest and soon his warmth began to blanket her and she had nodded off sometime after he did.

And now she was realizing the two had fallen asleep for god knows how long and she was aching.

"Natsu," she whispered and she found it silly so she cleared her throat and leaned over to nudge him on the shoulder. "Natsu." She said a bit louder. "Wake up."

He moaned and scrunched his face up in a really cute way and she found herself smiling as he rolled his head to the other side. "What time is it?" He grumbled.

"I'm not sure but the sun is up and we fell asleep out here." She let out a yawn as she stood up straight to stretch. "My body is sore."

"My neck fuckin' hurts…" He murmured and he finally opened his eyes to squint and scowl. "Damn sun…"

"Good morning sunshine," she offered a smile, raising her arms up. "For the second time."

"I would have much preferred to stay in bed. Now my neck hurts and the sun is blinding me and I feel even more tired." He complained, looking over to see his cup of coffee. He reached over to feel the cup and groaned as he felt the coldness. "And my coffee is cold."

"You could have stayed in bed, I told you you could." She planted her hands on her hips, adjusting her weight to her left leg as Natsu crawled out of the egg chair.

"You are just so hot in the mornings, Luce, I just can't get over it." He smirked as her face popped red. "I think you can convince me to murder someone."

"Perv!"

"Not a perv," he said, stretching his own limbs. "Starting facts."

"Still a perv," she narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms across her chest to hug herself. "You're only saying that because of my nightie."

"And you are absolutely correct on that," he offered a grin and she scowled at him. "Can't wait to see the whole collection."

"Ugh!" Lucy tried storming off and Natsu was quick to grab on to her wrist, twirling her around to yank her to his chest. "What the—Natsu! Stop!"

"No morning kiss?" He asked with a pout and Lucy rolled her eyes. "See! You just did it!"

"Are you going to point it out everytime I do it?"

"If I'm going to break the habit then yes," he snickered and Lucy fought the urge to roll her eyes again. "You were going to do it again, weren't you?"

"Oh, screw you, you started it." She tried to nudge him off but his grip tightened. "Hypocrite."

"Call me whatever you want, sweetheart, as long as I get my morning kiss." He puckered his lips and Lucy was just giggling, trying to push his face away as he leaned in.

"Natsu! Stop!" She was squealing and dodging his kisses. "Natsu!"

The couple froze when they heard someone clear their throat and they both went still, eyes widening. They stared at one another in worry before slowly turning to see their parents standing by the doorway watching them with all different types of expressions.

Jude looked surprised but pleased as Igneel smirked, sipping from his own coffee mug. Layla had tears in her eyes that twinkled like stars and Grandine was all grins, trying to hide it behind her own mug.

Lucy's face turned beet red, mortified that she had been caught canoodling with the Dragneel heir while Natsu had become annoyed, his eyes narrowing at his parents presence.

She was quick to shove Natsu off of her and she quickly fixed herself, locking her hands behind her back as she offered a weak smile. "G—good morning!"

"Stupid fuckin' cock blocks—" Natsu grumbled under his breath and he let out a soft grunt as Lucy elbowed him on the side. "Morning." He said a bit louder and he kept his gaze away.

"A good morning indeed!" Layla was first to shout, her voice overly loud making Igneel and Jude who were on either side of her to flinch.

"You two are awfully close and cozy today." Grandine teased, a smile on her lips as she winked right at Lucy.

Lucy couldn't get any redder and she felt her hairline get moist and she wished she could die since she was just in her nightie in front of Natsu's parents and they all had caught them practically making out on the patio.

"N—nothing like that!" Lucy squeaked out, waving her hands in the air.

"Doesn't seem like nothing." Igneel joined in the fun, his smirk widening as Lucy's eyes widened.

"Mind your business." Natsu snapped and Igneel was now scowling at his son. "You guys are always in our business." He said frustratedly, walking towards them to push past his dad and his mother who blocked the doorway. "I'm hungry, is breakfast ready?" He asked and Grandine was already behind him, chastising him for his manners and his tone of voice.

Igneel had rolled his eyes and flashed a proper smile at the younger blonde before he had trailed behind his wife and son while Layla and Jude gave Lucy a wide grin.

"Mama! Papa!" Lucy groaned, throwing her head back as she flushed crimson. "You guys are so embarrassing!"

"Young lady, you are out in a public area doing private things! It's not our fault we caught you."

"We weren't doing anything!" Lucy squealed and now Layla was rolling her eyes.

"I don't know why you won't let Natsu just kiss you. It's not like it's going to kill you and with how inexperienced you are, you should want to kiss someone as cute as Natsu and—"

"Mom!" Lucy shrieked and she was gawking at her rambling mother. "Dad!" Lucy now turned her attention to Jude who looked amused. "Stop her!"

"I have no words." He said, turning his back to her as he followed the Dragneel's and sipped his own coffee.

Lucy just stomped her foot on the ground and stormed her way over to the doorway, trying to ignore her mother who kept rambling. "Mama has brought some nighties of her own. Did you need something else? This one is nice but it's not appropriate for love making. It's too childish. Maybe—"

"Mom!" Lucy shrieked again, hearing how her words were being processed. "Please! We're not making love or anything!" Her voice was high and shrill and she could just melt right there.

"I'm just saying, I have a nice nightie that got me pregnant—"

"I am not having this talk with you!" Lucy screeched, her entire body growing warm with embarrassment. And she could see how the others watched how she screamed. "Stop talking! We're not making love and I don't need your nightie!"

Lucy stormed off before her mother could say anything else and she was quick to rush to her room, wanting to find her robe or anything else she could change into so her mother didn't have anything to say about her non-sexy nightie that was apparently not sexy enough to make love in. It made her face burst into shades of red it had never seen before and she was pissed that her mother had even made that comment to her.

Aren't mothers supposed to discourage their daughters from having sex? Especially when they're in the same house together?

Her and Natsu weren't even there yet! They just started kissing (and maybe a little bit of touching) but nothing like sex! How could she think so brazenly?! And offering her nightie that got her pregnant?!

It made her feel sick as she busted into her room and came over to the dresser to start digging in the drawers.

She didn't even notice Natsu as he had come out of the bathroom, the flush of the toilet catching her attention first.

"What are you doing?" Natsu asked, scratching at his abdomen as he walked over to her.

"I'm looking for something else to wear because my mother says my nightie is not sexy enough and even offered—" she angrily tossed clothes into the drawer as she decided it wasn't what she wanted. "—her stupid nightie that got her pregnant and it's just all too humiliating and uncalled for! And for her to think my sex appeal isn't enough and asking me all those things and I don't even know why I'm telling you all this!" Lucy shrieked, finding herself rambling like her mother does and she immediately shut her mouth at the sight of Natsu snickering.

"I kind of want to see her baby making nightie."

"Oh, shut up!"

"Are we going to have a baby making nightie?" He took a step closer to her and Lucy took a step back.

"No!" She was shrill and she didn't even care because she wanted to explode.

"Could I pick the nightie actually? It's only fair—"

Lucy let out a frustrated groan and shoved him out the way, stomping to the bathroom in a fury of emotions. Natsu just watched in amusement as she disappeared and he couldn't help but think: what a great fucking morning.
