Chapter 26: Plan(t)ed Stealth

I had to wait for today to get this little espionage session going, but I was glad Lilim and I were able to get an early leave from school due to the approaching Christmas.

The school year was finishing since... well, Japan's school ended around the cold months. A bit of an odd discovery, but one that kind of favored the chance to enjoy the holiday without having to worry for homework or other school-related stuff.

Life-Draining Weed - A lesser plant that is known to drain energy and deliver its intake to the Xenia Flower. Current effects: -10HP per min within a 80ft. radius.

"I-Is it-" Lilim muttered, shuddering as she felt the effects just as I was.

"It's draining life force," I finished for her. "Stay here, I will check it closely."

The succubus nodded as I used one of my moon hooks to slowly lower myself to the alley and I got a closer look on the plant. The Weed looked to be throbbing, clearly reacting to the energy it was claiming and... I smacked it.

"Not yet," I answered readily, deciding against bringing up the dreams just now. "I had been looking into it, but I still remember Totosai's words- I have one that is waiting for me, I just don't know what that means."

"Is it me or are all those puzzles about 'finding yourself' so repetitive and yet so confusing," Lilim huffed, and I snorted at that amusing bit, making the girl beam. "Ah, got you smiling. So, how about we go on a... date!"

I frowned. "A date?"

"Yup... also, I have something to ask you."

"That is?"
