Chapter 1: A dive into Heroism!
Over looking the massive holographic map on the bridge current captain of the SES TASTE FREEDOM Helldiver Captain M1 is currently talking with his democracy officer.
"I don't care what possible info he received Officer i want him executed for treason!" M1 says as the officer just shakes his head.
"Orders from on high Captain he's to be interrogated on just what he did while in the engine room. until then..." The officer is cut off as a huge alarm begins blaring and the holographic map begins blinking red. Captain M1 immediately goes to work and brings up the map showing the alert that Malevelon creek has requested immediate reinforcements and immediately M1 puts in the coordinates to the computers and yells at his navigator.
"Get us to Malevelon creek Helmsman. NOW. i have some communist Automaton ass to kick. Officer we are not finished with this conversation. I am executing him when i get back and if you protest again i'll have you arrested for treason! JUMP TO FTL NOW!" Captain M1 says as he plots the course for the ship.
"Initiating FTL JUMP to Severin Sector." An automated voice calls out as the massive space ship blinks out of existence. in that instant a large EMP blast rocks the entire ship causing a destination malfunction as the ship begins warping and stretching around everyone. Captain M1 cries out in pain as he reaches over for the abort button. After what feels like minutes he is able to slam his fist onto the abort button causing the ship to blip into existence around low orbit to a relatively normal looking red planet with two small moons. Captain M1 gets on comms and calls out.
"EVERYONE THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN SPEAKING! I ORDER EVERY ABLE BODY ABOARD TO RUN A FULL SHIP DIAGNOSTIC NOW! I want reports on what's wrong in the next 15 minutes!" M1 demands as repairmen and computer analysts all begin doing a quick examination of all the systems. As the crew is completing the needed diagnostics he heads to the Engine room and immediately salutes the Engineers before asking.
"What the fuck happened to my ship?" Captain M1 stares the men dead in the eyes as they immediately pull out a destroyed looking cube that had a massive crack in its casing glowing a deep shade of red on the inside as it has smoke billowing out of it showing the machine burned out from the inside.
"Sir this device is what caused the malfunction! it hijacked the FTL's graviton engine and caused the problems we all faced. Before we could examine it properly upon removing it from the engine it self destructed. We don't know what it did but it wasn't FTL it was something different." the Engineer said as The captain just groans and nods before saluting the men and walking to the bridge.
"Status report now." Captain M1 says as a few officers come up.
"Nothing has really changed tech wise sir. All our systems besides communications are working. We can't seem to connect to Super Earth nor its networks. We have to get repairs done to our telecommunications relay." The tech officer says as he sets down a stack of papers.
"The machinery is not 100% Operational. the armory systems are malfunctioning. We currently only have hellpods, our artillery cannons and basic armaments and navigation. The crew are working on that as we speak but we need to head back to Super Earth for replacement parts if we need them. We only have access to the M-105 Stalwart, Eagle 500KG bomb, resupply and the A/AC-8 Autocannon sentry. Also Captain uhh... your C-01 Application was approved just before the cut off. congratulations!!!" The Quartermaster says as she hands over the documents with a slightly flushed face. as this happens Captain M1 sighs as he has the helmsman navigate the ship manually past Mars towards Super Earth. The Captain is happy for small miracles and that they ended the FTL jump so close to home.
As they approach Super earth Captain M1 is currently maintaining his weaponry and loading up his G-8 Punisher Shotgun. Looking at his favorite weapon he smiles and grabs his sidearm the P-2 Peace maker. As he finishes loading his armaments and loading up on grenades and stratagems the Ships alarm systems start blaring to life as Captain M1 races towards the bridge and is given a debrief as a hologram video plays.
"CAPTAIN! we have automatons on the homefront! A large encased city is under attack!" One of the bridge workers say as Captain M1 selects the city coordinates and runs towards his Hellpod.
"FOR SUPER EARTH!!!!" Cries the captain as he salutes and is loaded into a hellpod before the ship blasts his hellpod to the chosen destination as the entire crew cheers for their captain uproariously.

Nedzu was currently watching the entrance exam just start as potential students were racing into the separate sections of the city to smash the simple robots for points.
"So how do you think this crop of potential students is going to fair?" Nedzu asks his staff as they all begin watching the many different cameras picking up on a lot of potential students.
"Honestly i think this batch is going to be pretty good! Lots of potential out there with some of them. That group of girls don't even know each other and immediately just formed a small team and are helping each other out." Midnight says as she points to a blonde haired girl who's with two green haired girls and one girl with a snake for a head as they form up and begin fighting the robots and keeping each other from being overrun.
"I don't think many are going to make it in this time around. Maybe 40 at the max. None of these kids has any real potential." Says A rather unkempt looking Aizawa.
"Oh cone on Aizawa look at that one he has potential doesn't he? He already has 23 points." Says Vlad King as he points towards one kid who's using his hands to explode the robots.
"That psychopath is also attacking other testees marked targets and stealing the points. It's clear he doesn't belong in this school at all. Besides i don't care. It's not like im teaching heroics this year. It's Anan's turn this time." Aizawa says as he just rolls over in his sleeping bag not caring.
"Spoilsport." Vlad says as Nedzu leans over to a skeletal looking man and asks.
"So do any of these candidates tickle your fancy as a potential successor?" Nedzu asks the man as said man turns his head to answer only to be interrupted.
"WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" Cries a space suit wearing woman as she immediately over rides the cameras and shows current live footage of the testing areas outside telescopic cameras zooming in on a human sized object barreling towards the testing city.
"SHIT! We have to evacuate the facility now! What even is that thing 13?" Cries Midnight as she stands up abruptly.
"I don't know but its shaped like a bullet and its coming in hot and ... Wait it just slowed down it's entry? Re-entry Guidance flaps just flared out and steered the object and it's...IT'S AIMING FOR A CLUSTER OF BOTS!" The space hero 13 says as she brings up the testing area once again.
M1's Hellpod literally smashes through the roof of the facility and is steered towards a cluster of automatons and it crashes directly on top of a large 3-pointer destroying it completely to the shock of testers. Soon a circular metal plate is ejected off the top and out of the ground rises a figure wearing solid black armored undersuit with black armor and yellow trim with a helmet to match the color scheme with what seems to be a blue visor around the eyes and a long flowing cape depicting the earth on it. The figure is holding a large weapon that the students could already tell was dangerous.
The figure immediately turns around and begins unloading his weapon revealed to be a shot gun on the robots blasting them to literal chunks as the explode in fiery plume of oil abd smoke. M1 blasting the 5 other bots around him and running towards the civilians who he calls out to.
"DON'T PANIC PEOPLE! I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE MALFUNCTIONING AUTOMATONS! YOU'RE NOT SAFE HERE ANYMORE! I WANT ALL OF YOU CIVI'S BACK IN THE BUILDING TO MY LEFT! I'M DROPPING SOME BACK UP!" M1 yells as he pulls up his stratagem device and quickly calls the A/AC Autocanon sentry and slams it down at the spot 20 feet from front door of the building he pointed to. M1 is soon jumped by a large group of bots that are now firing what seem like lasers shocking the testers as the bots weren't doing that before and head into the building thinking that man must be a hero sent to save them. As M1 runs forward he begins blasting the now firing bots dodging and diving away from their laser blasts as a large pod once again slams into the earth behind him and as M1 lands directly at the feet of another 3 pointer robot he blasts it in the face causing it's head and upper body to swing backwards before the autocanon locks on and unloads into it and the group of bots behind him.
"Yeah! How'd you like the taste of freedom!" M1 yells as he jumps up from his position and laughs.
Running deeper into the destroyed city M1 makes sure to kill any passing by bots as he yells to the people around him where they can go to for safety. Even stopping and using stims to heal injured testers and even carry weaker ones to safe spots where another group would be waiting to help essentially evacuating the testing area and ensuring the safety of the many children he's running across soon M1 rounds a corner as he faces a 1-pointer and immediately smashes his gun butt into its chest crumpling its chest cavity exploding the battery and sending the bit flying well over a dozen feet in the direction it just came from.
"FREEDOM NEVER SLEEPS!" M1 cheers as he runs into the open and using his P-2 peace maker and shoots the bots in the head as he laughs a bit before seeing the bridge infront of him literally covered in bots. He immediately gets on his stratagems device and calls in for the M-105 Stalwart and tosses it on top of the crawling top half a 3 pointer and soon enough another crash is heard as a pod Crushes the automaton beneath it and M1 grabs the stalwart out of the resupply pod.
Turning around M1 aims the stalwart at a 2 pointer before unloading a few rounds into it making it spurt oil like blood as M1 quickly spins around and gun-bashes another 2 pointer to the ground before placing the Stalwart on its back and firing into it's chest eliminating it as well. Hearing something coming Izuku turns around throwing the Stalwart into the face of a 3 pointer making the robot recoil backwards a bit and the gun bounce high inti the air.
M1 quickly pulls out his P-2 Peace Maker in his right hand and fires a few rounds into the 3 pointers face and catches the stalwart in his left hand before aiming it at the ridge and unloading the stalwart into the literal army of 1-pointer and 2-pointer robots slowly sweeping to his right with the stalwart as M1 keeps firing his P-2 nailing headshots and battery blows on the bots converging on his position before he turns his attention leftward and unloads the stalwart and his P-2 Akimbo style as the bots all surround him only to die spewing oil and piling up around him in a circle. Spraying the last of his clips ammunition before holstering his P-2 and reloading the stalwart as fast as possible M1 is approached by another three pointer that was running at him before M1 unloads the clip in the stalwart starting at the bots head and slowly aiming down.
Oil soaks the ground and splats everywhere around as the bot is essentially getting sawed in two by the gunfire. Oil splattering onto M1's armor as if it were blood before falling in two separate directions making M1 turn around and hurl some grenades at the bridge exploding it and a large group of pointer bots destroying the means for them to get across.
"Yeah have a taste of Liber-Tea!" M1 says to the bots before he runs forward to continue fighting the Automatons and saving civilians but is stopped as he hears screaming in what M1 believes to be old Japanese.
"OW! IM TRAPPED KERO! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME KERO!" Calls out a girl with long green hair tied into a bow. M1 immediately rushes forward and sees that 3 others are already trying to help. M1 races forward and drops down between the girls looking the injured one over and speaking.
"What happened here? Besides the obvious one is everyone okay?" M1 asks as the girls all nod and the blonde haired girl with large horns speaks.
"Yeah we're fine! But our new friend here was jumped by a bot as it smashed through the wall and stepped on her ankle before the wall crumbled and left this huge rock on her." The girl says as M1 nods a bit as he looks at the rock and seeing the girls struggling to lift it.
"Alright, you girls prepare to move this one out from under the rubble. I'll lift it okay?" M1 says as he rounds around the small boulder and grabs it before lifting it off her leg by a few feet.
The other girls quickly pull the green haired girl out from under the rubble and M1 sets the boulder back down before running ip and checking his supplies. Finding his last stim M1 sighs and pulls it out before jamming the stim into the girls Leg casing her to flinch but open her eyes as the pain is gone and she feels energized.
"T-Thank you Kero. You saved me." The girl says as M1 just shakes his head.
"No, your friends saved you. I just helped out. Now you all need to get out of here before more of the automatons show up." M1 says as the girls nod before looking at him
"It's nice to meet you sir. My names Tsuyu Asui" says the girl with frog like features he just helped.
"Names setsuna tokage badass!" Says the other green haired girl as she gives M1 a grin full of sharp teeth like a sharks.
"I'm Habuko Mongoose. Thank you for saving my friend." Says the girl M1 thinks is wearing a snake mask.
"Names Pony Tsunotori! You speak english and japanese really well! Think you can teach me?" The blonde haired girl says M1 speaks.
"It's nice to meet you ladies. My name is..." M1 says as he is interrupted by a large 9 story robot as he backs up a bit before the girls scream. M1 turning and looking at the girls and points behind them.
"RUN I'LL HANDLE THE TITAN!" M1 says as he grabs his Stratagem and imputs the proper code. His last stratagem billowing a large red beacon light as he hurls it at the robot in question nailing it directly in the side of it's face. M1 walks forward towards the girls and what looks like adults rushing forward towards them all.
"As i was saying. My name is Helldiver M1. Captain of the SES TASTE FREEDOM. AKA" M1 says as he grabs his helmet and pulls it off and places it underneath his left arm revealing his green hair, green eyes and freckles before beaming the girls and the shocked adults a smile full of patriotism and happiness. Instantly as M1 smiles a massive 500kg bomb smashes into the Zero Pointer exploding it and leveling the entire block around it. The force of the explosion causing M1's cape to flap in the wind as he salutes
"Izuku Midoriya It's a pleasure to make all your acquaintance!" Izuku says smiling happily at the gathered crowd.
