Fire, screams, explosions, blood, death. A pink haired girl no more than 12 was on her knees with tears in her eyes as she was unable to stop crying, she was so scared and helpless as she was surrounded by fire and destruction. The girl was covered in splats of blood as she was over the lifeless body of her parents who laid dead on the floor in front of her, the girl needed to run but she was too caught up in her emotions to do so as not to far from her was a hero in black fighting with scarfs against a group of villains. The villains were getting taken out one by one but the hero had to move out of the way of a stray blast of energy which proceeded to shoot towards the pink haired girl as the blast hit a car near her which caused it to explode as the girl was too busy crying to notice before she was caught in the explosion. The hero saw what the villian did and quickly incapacitated him and ran towards the girl. She screamed in pain as she was too hurt to move and when she could only see through her right eye, she looked over to her right. She was even more horrified at what she saw as she screamed out "MY ARM!"

We come to that same pink haired girl who is now 16 waking up in a bed with a cold sweat as she was breathing heavily and looking around her room. Just another bad dream from her past, the girl got up out of bed and looked at herself in the mirror as she has no right arm and she wore a glass eyepatch over her left eye. It's a daily reminder of what happened 4 years ago as even after all this time the scars still ached whenever she looked at herself in the mirror. She heard a knock on her door and went to answer it as she opened the door to find her adopted dad and the hero in black from back then, Shoto Aizawa. The hero spoke up to his adopted daughter and told her "Hey kid get ready, the UA entrance exam is today and the last thing I'll have you do is be late so hurry up and get dressed."

"Yeah yeah I got it old man." The pink haired girl shut the door in his face rudely and went to get ready for her entrance exam. The girl would be walking with Aizawa, she had her pink hair tied in a ponytail that reached down to her thighs in length, she wore a white, red, and black kimono that revealed a good amount of her cleavage and kept a katana sheathed to her left as anyone could tell the girl was going for the look of a samurai, despite the colder weather at this type of year the girl didn't feel bothered by the cold weather in the slightest. She spoke to Aizawa and said "I don't need your damn help getting to UA old man so beat it."

"You're gonna get lost again like you always do, plus I work there so there's no point in me leaving you." Aizawa told his adopted daughter as she scoffed in annoyance.

Upon reaching the gates the pink-haired girl could see students walking through one large gate to make their way to a gigantic school building. Even after being at this building a couple of times she still often forgets how large UA actually was, it is the number one hero school in japan after all so what should she expect? Aizawa stopped following Baiken and waited at the gate just in case any problems occurred, Baiken walks through the front gate and saw a blonde spikey haired guy tell a nervous green-haired kid to get out of his way while he frantically moved his way, not standing up to himself at all. She heard other students talk and that the blonde haired kid was Katsuki Bakugo, she does remember hearing about him when a slime villain attacked a while back and held him hostage. She kept walking as that same green-haired boy took a step and somehow tripped and was gonna fall flat on his face so she caught him by the collar before he made himself look like a fool. It took him a second to realize he was caught by someone as he flailed for a bit before he looked up at the woman who caught him as she pulled him back up. "You good man?"

The green-haired kid had a bewildered face as he looked at Baiken not being able to form a word which annoyed her as she shouted at him "Well, are you dork?!"

He responded back nervously and said "Y-yeah."

"Hey nice save there girl!" The samurai looked at whoever called out to her as it was a short cute girl in a big coat who complimented her. "Cool outfit you got on, you look just like one of those samurai! What's your name?"

"Baiken Seishino." The samurai told her.

"Ochaco Uraraka!"

"Cool, well good luck or whatever…" Baiken said to the two as she walked towards the entrance exam not really wanting to talk to anyone but Ochako spoke up to her and yelled "Hey Baiken the exam hall is that way!"

Baiken looked to where she was referring to as she was going in a completely different direction and wasn't paying attention to where she was going. Not wanting to be embarrassed she yelled back "I know, what do you think I am stupid?!"

Baiken sat down in an auditorium as a familiar man talked to the students. It was the voice hero Present Mic, Baiken was familiar with the man not only because of the occasional radio show she would come across but the hero coming over to her home a couple of times thanks to him being good friends with Aizawa despite them being polar opposites in nearly every single way, Baiken was never really close with him but at least he didn't annoy her. He did his best to get the crowd excited but the students including Baiken were silentwhich seemed to disappoint him but he got over it. He how explained the entrance exam is supposed to work, the students will be in 10 minute mock cityscapes and will use their quirks to dispatch of any faux villains for points. Also that any attempts at attacking students or playing anti hero are forbidden so Baiken has to be aware of that. The exam was simple but the real difficulty would come in trying to cut down Faux villains before the other participants can get to them first. It wasn't gonna be easy getting into UA and even with her old man working here they most likely aren't gonna play favorites, she can't even imagine what she'll do if she gets rejected but she can't doubt herself, not here at least.

Then in the middle of the presentation a participant stood up with his hand raised as he wanted to ask a question to Present Mic who let the boy speak as a spot light shined on him, he was a tall guy with a very formal outfit on and glasses, guessing by the outfit he wore he had to be some private school kid. "There appear to be no fewer than 4 varieties of faux villains on this hand out! Such an error is unacceptable for the top academy in the country! We are here to be molded into top model heroes! And you!" The man spoke out and pointed to that green messy haired boy from earlier today. "You have been muttering this whole time and it's getting annoying! If you think that this is a game then please leave immediately!" The green-haired boy said sorry to the shouting man and Baiken could only think of how petty he had to be to embarrass that guy. Something about that green-haired boy didn't sit right with Baiken anyways, he doesn't look like he's ready for combat and looks like he might piss his pants or have a heart attack if you scream at him too loud.

"Alright alright great catch examinee 7111 but the 4th faux villian is worth a total of zero points. Think of it more as an obstacle than a opponent and while you can destroy it you won't be rewarded for doing so. Now let me leave you off with a few words of encouragement. The great hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said... 'True heroism consists in being superior to the ills of life.' Plus Ultra! Break a leg, everyone!" With that the presentation was over and everyone began to make their way to the faux cityscapes.

"What the hell is the budget at this school this fake city was huge!" Is what Baiken thought as she got a glimpse of the giant entrance to the cityscapes exam. They said that the students could bring anything they want on the inside so Baiken brought her katana and some hidden weapons such as a fire work gun and a metal claw that was attached to her right shoulder where her right arm would have been. Baiken kept a black uniform with a skull patched on her right sleeve and wore it almost like a cape to hide the fact that she didn't have a right arm as she hated being seen as a lesser human just because she lost her right arm when she is anything but a helpless little girl. Present Mic said that they made sure not to put kids who went to the same school in the same test as she didn't really see anyone she knew from her middle school days, she saw the green hair kid again but the poor boy looked like he was gonna melt out of fear alone. She also saw Ochaco who seemed to be meditating and that stuck up private school boy who startled the green-haired boy as she could hear people talking about him that's he was a coward, idiot, and that he was one less person to worry about but if Baiken knows anything about life is that you never underestimate an opponent no matter how pathetic they looked or acted.

No one was paying attention as Present Mic screamed using his quirk "and... begin!" No countdown or anything as people looked confused as Baiken started to sprint towards the mock city with people not so far behind her. It didn't take long for Baiken to find some faux villains as a group of 1 pointers came crashing out of a building at her, Baiken unsheathed her blade as the blade began to turn into a shiny black along with her hand as the robot dashed towards her she timed her strike and sliced through the robots splitting them all in half for 5 points total. How can a sword cut through metal so effortlessly? It was all due to her quirk, Armament!

Quirk: Armament

This quirk allows Baiken to coat any part of her body in a metal like coating that is nearly unbreakable. This can also be spread to anything Baiken is touching at any current moment which she uses on her katana to have it be sharp enough to cut through metal and make it extremely durable. The down side is that it relies on Baiken's energy to use and the larger the coating the more energy she needs to keep it up so while a blade won't take that much energy, say she needs to coat her entire body she can only keep it up for a few minutes before passing out.

Baiken was cutting through robots like butter thanks to her quirk, 7 points, 10 points, 15 points, 27 points, 32 points. The bots started to dwindle down fast as in just 4 minutes people were already stacking up tobs of points and Baiken couldn't seem to find that many compared to the beginning. While she was looking around for any bots she heard someone yell at her "Watch out Baiken!" Baiken looked up and saw a bot that was about to crush her but she used her quirk Armament in the nick of time to cause bot to break against her body. Many other bots broke around Baiken too as that Ochaco girl cam up to Baiken and apologized profusely "I'm so sorry Baiken I didn't see you there I swear I wasn't trying to hurt you or anything just please don't tell I don't want to fail this exam!"

"It's whatever Ochaco, I'm perfectly fine and plus I've taken harder hits before. What even is that qu-" Baiken was interrupted by the sounds of something huge as a giant bot entered the mock city as it began to destroy the buildings around it. Baiken assumed that the giant robot was the 0 point obstacle she was supposed to worry about so her only choice was to start running as her and Ochaco were way too close to the giant bot as debris crashed all around them. People began to run away from the bot including Baiken, all except for one certain green-haired dork who was on the ground cowering in fear of the giant robot but she didn't pay him much mind until him and Baiken heard the cries of pain from Ochaco as Baiken turned around to see that she was buried under rubble and the giant bot was closing in on her as she was gonna be crushed. Baiken knew she had to run and it was either save the girl and get crushed or run away to hopefully pass and live another day and Baiken reluctantly took the latter as she was ready to run but the green hair boy stood up as he looked determined, she knew exactly what the boy was gonna do and shouted at him "Don't fight the giant, it's suicide you damn dork!" But the boy didn't listen, one of his legs started to glow with red vains as he jumped extremely high into the air in one go as Baiken couldn't believe what she was seeing as she saw the boy charge up a punch as he screamed from the top of his lungs "SMASH!!!" The head of the robot was absolutely destroyed as Baiken was left in pure disbelief that anyone could be so powerful yet such a coward. That punch gave Baiken the courage to go to save Ochaco as she fired her hidden metal claw at Ochaco who grabbed on as Baiken pulled her out of thr rubble. It was then that Ochaco now knew Baiken's little secret about her arm but she didn't have time to worry as.the green-haired boy was falling from the sky as he apparently had no strategy to land safely and there's no way Baiken could catch him without possibly hurting him but Ochaco hopped on one of the scrap of the robot as she floated into the air as Baiken was surprised by her power that she could manipulate gravity. The green-haired boy was falling fast as he tried to think of a way to land on the floor before Ochaco slapped him in mid air using her quirk to get him to land safely on the floor as she touched her finger tips to cancel her power. The two of them made Baiken realize how much of a coward she was as she thought too hard about her own safety over others and it would have resulted in the death of either one of them if Baiken had decided not to do anything. The gravity girl began to throw up as its to be assumed that was the down side to her quirk while the boy layed on the ground with one of his legs and one of his arms broken as he crawled with giant tears in his eyes as he just wanted to get one point but Present Mic shouted with his quirk "IT'S. ALL. OVER!!!!"

The boy layed on the ground in defeat as in his mind he had failed the exam, everyone was talking about how he busted up the giant robot and how no one could have expected him to be so strong yet act like such a scaredy-cat. The samurai walked up to the boy and asked him "What's your name boy?"

He looked up at her and weakly said "Izu...ku... Midorya..."

"You're very brave Izuku, you didn't hesitate for a moment to save that girl and you have my respect." Baiken grabbed him by the back of his collar to pick him up as he leaned onto her on one leg. "That quirk of yours is strong but it busts you up real bad huh? Some power you got man."

The samurai looked foward to see the famous nurse of UA that allows them to have such wild exams such as this one, the Youthful Heroine Recovery Girl. The old lady walked around to make sure students were okay with no injuries as Baiken called out for her to come heal Izuku. "Ah Baiken, it's great to see you again and just look at how big you grown since the last time I saw you." The nurse looked at Izuku who was busted up like hell as she used her quirk Super Healing Factor and kissed his arm and leg as they were healed up like it was magic. "To have your beloved quirk do this to you, it's almost as if your body isn't used to it. He should be able to walk Baiken, I wish you the best of luck Baiken, and tell your father I said hi." Recovery Girl told Baiken as she let go of Izuku, but she wasn't too happy about that last part she said as she rudely told her.

"That old man isn't my father old hag, I don't care how many documents say he legally is but he's not my father." Baiken walked away pissed at the nurse but she immediately regrets it as Baiken didn't even think about the words she said until after they left her mouth.

It was a week later and Baiken was home in her room with weights on her back as she was working out and currently doing one handed push-ups as its not like she can do any other kinds of push-ups. "497...498...499..." Baiken heard a knock on her door as she moved the weights off her body and grabbed a towel to clean herself off as she opened the door to find her adopted dad Aizawa there holding a letter in his hands that had the stamp of UA Academy. "Your letter came in today Baiken." Baiken took the letter and looked down at it as her eye widened as she will finally get her answer on if she made it or not. "Baiken whatever the letter says just know that I'm pr‐" Baiken closed the door on his face as she went to her desk and used her teeth to open the letter as a little device was inside that showed a projection. On the projection was a recorded video if the number one hero and the symbol of peace himself All Might, he was dressed in a bright yellow striped suit and had his ever so famous smile on his face as he began to speak "This is a pre-recorded message to Baiken Seishino! We know that you along with tons of other students have been dying to hear the results of your application to UA Academy and you are probably saying to yourself just get to the point already! Well Baiken you might have passed the written exam but your time during the mock city exam had you reach 34 points which unfortunately lands you in the failure category." Baiken heard that and she looked down, so what was the point of all of her training, the brutal hours she put in to make her body the strongest it could be and training her quirk to its maximum potential, was it all for nothing? "But that's not the end of the story my friend! If it wasn't for your heroic actions in saving Ms.Uraraka that poor boy Izuku would have been splattered all over the floor! This exam wasn't just about villian points, in this line of work you risk your life everyday and if we were to to reject those who risk their life to do what's right, what kind of hero school would we be!? Rescue points were also a factor in their test and must I say Ms. Seishino you received a total of 20 rescue points adding up to a total of 54 points! You're in Baiken, congratulations." Baiken couldn't believe it, she actually made it in, all of her efforts weren't in vain. She just wished that her mom and dad could see her now as a tear fell down her one good eye. "And one last thing before I go Ms.Seishino, you're fa- ahem I mean Aizawa asked me to tell you this. He's very proud of you and all that you have accomplished, most people would have given up on their dreams with the hardships you faced in your life, but you kept going despite your disabilities and that you are the best daughter he can ask for." The projection ended and Baiken sat there for a minute thinking about what All Might said. She wanted to go and hug her old man but she hesitated when she was about to grab the doorknob as she thought about it for a second but decided to open it and walk to Aizawa's room as she opened the door and he looked at her asking "What did it say kid?"

"I passed Old Man."

"Congrats Kid." Aizawa had a big smile on his face, it was rare to ever see him smile and it was pretty creepy anytime he did smile she had to admit but she wasn't gonna tell hom to stop, at least not this time. "I'm going to warn you now, I may be your adopted father but they aren't gonna play favorites with you just because you're my kid. I have high expectations of you Baiken, you're an exceptional girl and I have faith you'll become a great hero some day."

Baiken hugged her old man as her eye was still tearing up from earlier as they had a moment of silence together. Baiken may be a bitter, rude girl and a complete asshole to her adopted dad but he's the only person she has left in her sad existence. She won't ever admit it to his face face but she's happy to have him around.
