Monalisa loves her home.
and sometimes blood has to spill to protect your home.
sometimes you have to let your feelings go
sometimes things just go to shit.
TW: blood, cursing, decapitation, gore?
"You... you betrayed us!" he growls, his anger practically radiating off of him in waves.
"I loved you Mona!"
Raph, Leo, Donnie and Mikey are all chained to the wall of Lord dregs castell.
"Raph, I had to save my home! They would've destroyed it if I didn't! I'm sorry!" Monalisa pleads,
Lord Dreg steps closer to Raph, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Actually, I have one more thing you must do before your home is safe," he says, his voice dripping with malice.
"Execute the annoying orange one." He nods towards Michelangelo
Mikey is then unchained from the wall and dragged by some guards until he is in front of Monalisa and forced to his knees.
"No! You don't touch him!" Raph growls, struggling against his chains. "I don't care if it means our home is safe, I won't let you hurt Mikey!"
Monalisa: "Lord Dreg, this was not part of our deal!" she exclaims, her voice shaking with fear and desperation. "You promised me that if I helped you capture the Ninja Turtles, my home would be spared!"
Lord Dreg laughs maliciously. "Oh, but my dear Mona, you misunderstood. Your home will be spared... if you kill the turtle" He points at Michelangelo again, his face twisted into a sick grin.
"I am a man of my promises. And I promise you, if you don't kill Raphael's little brother, I will destroy your home."
Mikey looks up at Mona with his big blue eyes, a nervous expression on his face.
"Yeah... I bet there's some other way we can work this out, dude." He says, trying to sound confident despite his obvious fear.
Monalisa closes her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath.
"I... I'm sorry," she whispers. "I'll make it quick."
She draws her glowing sword, the same one she had when they first met.
The blade hums with energy as she raises it above her head.
Raph's eyes widen in horror as he sees the sword in Mona's hand.
"No! Mona, don't!" He shouts, straining against his chains. "We can still find another way!"
Lord Dreg laughs maniacally. "Ah, the power of love! So beautiful! But alas, it is time for the performance." He sits back, gesturing for the show to begin.
Monalisa hesitates for a moment, her hand shaking as she holds the sword above Mikey's head.
She glances back at Raph, their eyes locking for a brief moment.
"Mona, please..." He whispers, his voice breaking.
"Don't do this."
Mona closes her eyes
And swings.
The sword makes contact, slicing through the air with deadly precision.
There's a flash of orange as it connects with Michelangelo,
The sound of flesh being severed echoes through the chamber.
Blood sprays in every direction, coating the floor and walls as well as Monalisa's face.
Mikey's body slumps forward, landing with a wet sickening thud on the cold stone floor.
The head, rolling a few inches away from the body.
Mona stares down at her bloody sword, guilt filling her.
Raph's chains clank against the stone floor as he struggles frantically, trying to free himself from their grasp.
"Raph, I'm so sorry," she whispers, her voice barely audible.
She looks up at him, her tears mixing with the blood on her face. "I had to do it."
Raph's anger boils over, and he growls at Mona, his fists clenched tightly around the chains that bind him.
"You didn't have to! You could've found another way! You could've saved him and still saved your home!" he shouts, his voice hoarse with emotion.
"I hate you, Mona! I hate you for what you've done! You selfish bitch!" He spits the words at her, feeling a fresh wave of pain and rage wash over him.
Lord Dreg steps forward, his expression cold and unreadable. "Well, well, well," he drawls.
"Looks like we're done here. Take them to the dungeon and lock them up tight. We'll have plenty of time to decide their fate later."
Monalisa remains where she is, staring at the floor, unable to meet Raph's enraged gaze.
The guards approach, roughly yanking them from their positions and dragging the turtles away.
As they are taken down a long, winding hallway, Raph continues to shout insults at Mona, his voice growing fainter and fainter with each step.
Monalisa looks down at the sword in her hand, the blood still coating the blade.
She thinks back to the moment she swung it, the look of shock and horror on Michelangelo's face
the sound of his body hitting the ground.
She shudders, feeling sick to her stomach.
She thinks about Raphael, his expression filled with hatred and betrayal.
With a shaking hand, she reaches up to touch the pendant around her neck, feeling the cool metal against her skin.
"For my home"
"for Slamanderia,"
