The crowd celebrated their choice. The jumbotron displayed the top four teams before adding in the fifth team's score. The people watching on television stared at the score like it was a New Years Celebration. Five teams this year instead of four? The announcement by Midnight shocked millions of viewers. They weren't expecting a tie with fourth place to lead to five teams being included in the finals. Media blew up as soon as the announcement came. Five teams in the finals meant that this year's Sports Festival would be the longest in its history. At the Midoriya residence, Inko stared at the television crying tears of joy. Only a minute ago, she was crying that only one of her babies would be going to the finals. But, as if by some kind of miracle, both of her babies had tied and won over the heroes in the stadium. When Inko saw the person behind the incredible chanting, her jaw had hit the floor. Inko knew a lot about her children's interests and who they looked up to. Izuku had always kept the same interests, but over time, Ami's interests changed quite a bit. After her quirk manifested, her worship of All Might slowed down. And over the years, her list of heroes she looked up to grew. One of those heroes she had become a massive fan of was a local hero named Backdraft. So to see him on the television chanting for both her son and daughter to move on to the finals, it was overwhelming. After the announcement that they'd both be moving on to the finals, Inko let loose and cried her eyes out, celebrating their success.

"My babies! I'm so proud of you! You worked so hard for this! But please, twins. Don't get hurt in the final round!" Inko cried, a flood of tears flew out of her eyes like fire hydrants. The other people living in the apartment definitely appreciated hearing it. Watching the Sports Festival in another house, in a different part of Japan that was far from Musutafu and U.A., was a teenage girl with orange hair who watched the television with joy. Seeing the results of the scoreboard, she felt a large amount of happiness seeing the names inside the 4th and 5th place teams. Her attention was focused mainly on one name in each team. She read off the names in her head and smiled. Those names were Ami and Izuku Midoriya. She glanced at her phone screen and turned it on, seeing the picture on her lock screen. She looked at the photo and made a big smile, feeling a tear fall down her face. In that photo was her, her boyfriend, and her best friend, Ami Midoriya. She remembered that day clearly and how sad their last goodbye was. Looking back up at the television, she wiped the tears away and continued watching. So much had changed since the last time she saw her again. She was happy to see how far her childhood friend and her brother had gone.

Inside the stadium, All Might breathed a sigh of relief at what had just occurred and looked over towards the hero section. He glanced at the heroes and saw Backdraft forming giant watery hands out of his pipe arms. The hands gave a thumbs up towards the students. All Might looked down at the battlefield and saw Ami waving at Backdraft. He smiled at the scene, reminding himself of the response Backdraft had given to Ami when he eavesdropped on their conversation.

"Anyone can be a hero, Ami. Even without a quirk." Backdraft's words echoed through All Might's mind. He took a deep breath and smiled. Feeling grateful for Backdraft's support.

"I'm starting to feel like I owe you now." All Might thought, laughing to himself. When he pulled his attention away from the scene he glanced up at the top of the hero section. He quickly scanned the area and realized Endeavor still had not returned since leaving. He dropped his smile and made a straight face. Squinting his eyes, he stood up out of his seat and left the faculty section. He shifted his body into his muscular form and adjusted his suit and tie. Taking a leave, he went on the lookout for the flaming hero. Sure enough, only three minutes later, he found the hero walking down a set of stairs. All Might cleared his throat and spoke up, flashing that signature smile.

"Yo! Long time no see!" All Might greeted, "Let's catch up, Endeavor."

Endeavor's temper shot off upon hearing the man's voice. The flames on his costume flared up, signifying the man's aggressive emotions towards the number one hero.

"All Might." Endeavor groaned, turning his head to the left and glaring at him.

Stadium Battlegrounds

"Looks like the decisions have been made, folks! With both teams taking 4th place and moving on to the finals, we're gonna take an hour lunch break as we demand the media execs to give us more time on television. See you soon!" Present Mic announced. Bakugo heard the announcement and held in his anger, clenching his jaw. After getting his team's points back and reaching second place there was really not much time left to make a difference. He knew that, but still, he wanted to go after Todoroki. That declaration of war pissed him off. His cold look and confidence in using only one side of his quirk pissed him off. The moment he met Todoroki, he didn't like him. But after learning more about him it only managed to get him more annoyed by the teen. Bakugo crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes, looking around for the cold teen. He glanced at Todoroki's team and saw Four Eyes, Tall Girl, and the Brain-dead Battery. He raised an eyebrow at the three and noticed Todoroki's absence.

"The hell did he go?" Bakugo questioned, looking around the stadium. He glanced at the other teams for any sign of Todoroki and couldn't find him. Looking at all the teams, he noticed someone else was missing. Deku. He raised his eyes in frustrated curiosity, now looking around for both of them. He then noticed Deku walking towards the stadium exit tunnel along with Todoroki. He narrowed his eyes upon seeing them. Watching them stealthily avoid detection, he clenched his fists and wandered after them.

Ami had finally fully recovered after hearing the results of the game and stopped her crying. She had stuck by her teammates and congratulated each other as they followed the other students towards the exit. After talking with friends, Ami wanted to talk with her brother about the results. It was a complete surprise to her that things turned out the way it did and it made her wonder how Izuku was feeling. She slowly moved away from her group and looked for her brother. Strangely enough, he wasn't anywhere near his teammates. In fact, she couldn't see any sign of her brother. Ami raised an eye at her brother's disappearance and looked around the stadium. She glanced at the exit and noticed Bakugo was there. Ami wondered what he was doing at the tunnel already and watched him.

"What's Kacchan doing?" Ami thought, focusing her attention on Bakugo. She watched him slowly reach the stadium exit and enter the dark hallway exit. She raised her eye at the odd scene taking place. Crossing her arms, she wondered what reason Bakugo would have to get ahead of everyone. Ami looked back at her teammates and noticed they were distracted talking and interacting with former classmates-turned-enemies. She saw her chance to slip away from all her classmates and quickly did so, separating herself from the class. With curiosity getting the best of her, Ami wandered off towards Bakugo. Remembering that her original goal was finding her brother, Izuku. She thought that maybe he'd know where her brother ran off to.

Bakugo stayed hidden in the shadows, keeping his footsteps quiet. He understood the need for stealth when it was useful for him. He kept his ears open and silently listened to Deku and Todoroki's footsteps. He wondered what the two were doing wandering around the stadium exit until he watched them enter a separate location inside the tunnel. He quickly followed along and entered the room, quickly noticing that this was the Student and Faculty entrance. Entering the second dark hallway, he kept quiet and continued listening. He wondered where the hell they were going until he heard them stop moving, quickly catching his attention. As soon as their footsteps stopped, he immediately stood still. Instinctively, he glanced at the wall and slowly pressed his body against it. Placing his back on the wall, he sidestepped over towards the corner, allowing him to see what was around the corner. Leaning against the wall, he dipped his head forward and got a view of the two students standing across from each other. Deku stood where the sun could reach his face, allowing Bakugo to get a full view of that stupid nervous look on Deku's face. Standing across from Deku and leaning against the wall was Todoroki. Bakugo scrutinized every detail on Todoroki's face and narrowed his eyes. Half of Todoroki's face was in the sunlight while his other half was in the shade. Despite the shade, he could tell that there was a cold glare on the teens face. Bakugo looked at them and felt a scowl form on his face. The two students were alone and walked to a secluded area, staring at each other. Watching them brought a thought to Bakugo's mind. A horrible thought that was a heavy possibility. That thought was enough to piss him off, causing him to grit his teeth.

"I swear to God, Deku, if you tell that IcyHot bastard about One For All." Bakugo thought, gritting his teeth at them. If a complete stranger like Todoroki could figure it out, then that would mean it was only a matter of time before someone else in their class gets lucky. Bakugo stared at them and watched as they stood there silent for over a minute. As he stared at them, he was unaware of the girl that had also followed him. Ami entered the dark hallway following the same path Bakugo did and recognized the place instantly. This was where they entered the stadium for the first time. She wandered around and hid her footsteps as best she could. After turning down a corridor, she was surprised to see her target hiding in the shadows. Ami looked down the hall and could see Bakugo hiding behind the wall and peeking his head over a corner. Ami recognized the entryway to the stadium and raised her eyes at what Bakugo was doing. She could tell he was looking at something, or someone, and walked forward to investigate. Hearing footsteps behind him, Bakugo's eyes widened. He immediately stopped watching the two students and pulled his back, turning to see who was walking up to him. Much to his relief, it was only Habanero and not a teacher. Much to his annoyance, however, it was Habanero who showed up. He turned his head and made eye contact with the green haired girl, causing her to stop approaching him after getting caught. She was hoping he wouldn't hear her get close. He gave her an intense glare which caused her to make an awkward smile and a wave. As if that would improve the situation.

"Great. Just great." He thought, rolling his eyes. Of course it had to be her that followed him around. He didn't respond to the smile and wave tactic deployed by Ami, causing her to frown. Seeing no point in keeping herself hidden from him, she raised her lips and was about to speak.

Bakugo saw Habanero's mouth move and felt his eyes widen. A small bit of panic entered his mind. If she says something at full volume now, then Deku and Todoroki would hear. He unclenched his fists and quickly acted, putting a stop to Habanero's voice.

"Hey, Ka-hmm?" Ami said before she was rudely interrupted by Bakugo placing his hand on her lips. Ami looked down at the hand covering her mouth and lowered her eyes in confusion.

"Mm?" Ami mumbled, unable to speak with the hand over her mouth. She looked back up at Kacchan and saw him squinting his eyes at her. She raised her hands to try and push his hand off of her mouth, but Bakugo immediately went into action and grabbed a hold of her hand. Ami looked down at her hand and saw his hand holding hers, confusing her even more.

"Hmm?" Ami stuttered, shocked by Bakugo's sudden actions. Ami felt a barrage of embarrassment at the fact Bakugo was touching her hand, causing her face to start blushing in total bewilderment. Before she could mumble more sounds out of her mouth, Bakugo pulled her towards him and spun her to his side, shoving her against the wall. Ami winced at the harsh contact with the wall and glared at Bakugo while blushing. She didn't know what he was doing and it was starting to freak her out. She looked at Bakugo with a confused blush, her heart beating fast. She gave him a glare that demanded an explanation from him. Bakugo looked at her glare and returned with an even harsher glare. Clenching his hand on hers, he glared at her and started to whisper.

"Shutup, Habanero." Bakugo growled, keeping his voice as quiet as possible. Ami looked at his eyes and his words and understood, not letting out a word. After hearing his words, she tried to calm down and felt it was hard to do so with her blushing and rapid heartbeat going on. It also didn't help that Bakugo was inches away from her face and his hand was still holding onto hers. Despite that awkward feeling, she still continued to glare at him in an effort to keep appearances. Bakugo looked at her face and examined her glare. He nodded his head and could tell Ami had understood his warning. However, he didn't seem to realize why Ami was still blushing. Becoming self aware, he looked at her blush and raised an eyebrow. It wasn't until he felt his hand get warm from holding onto Ami's hand that he finally understood why she was blushing. Raising his eyes in realization, Bakugo looked to his right and saw he was still holding her hand and keeping it restrained against the wall. He looked down at the floor and also noticed they were uncomfortably close. His glare lessened upon realizing how little space there was between them.

"Shit." Bakugo panicked, realizing how awkward this looked. He quickly let go of her hand and removed the other hand that still covered her mouth. Ami felt the pressure get removed from her mouth and her hand and gasped for air. This entire time only now did she realize that, in her awkward and uncomfortable state, she had forgotten to breathe while staring at him. She relaxed and calmed herself down, putting her freed hand on her heart. Bakugo watched her calm down and tried to hide his embarrassment. He was happy no one was around to see that awkward interaction. Calming down a little more, they both glanced at each other and quickly looked away at the same time, realizing the awkwardness of the situation. For a second, they both forgot what they were doing until Izuku had finally gained the courage to speak up.

"So, you brought me here. Now what?" Izuku asked, staring at Todoroki's cold blank stare. Ami held onto her breath and stopped moving, raising her eyes at the sound of her brother speaking. Bakugo's eyes also widened, realizing that they were finally starting to talk again. Both of them forgot their awkward encounter and immediately poked their heads out to see what was going on. Bakugo stood tall and leaned his head over to see while Ami crouched down and got a view of their conversation. Ami stared down at the entrance and noticed Izuku and Todoroki were standing there looking at each other. Izuku looked at Todoroki with a nervous expression.

He wondered what Todoroki had brought him here for. After the results of the game, Izuku was also surprised to learn of the tie. And seeing Backdraft on the jumbotron brought a tremendous smile to his face. He could only guess what Ami was feeling then. He wanted to go see Ami and hug her after the announcement came, however, he was suddenly approached by Todoroki. He wondered why Todoroki would want to talk to him after the battle and followed him here. He looked at the glare on his face and gulped, unsure what to say next. Right now, he wanted to leave and find his sister.

"We should probably eat soon. The cafeteria's gonna be busy, don't you think?" Izuku suggested, hoping he'd listen to his suggestion. Todoroki's expression didn't change, unnerving both Izuku and Ami, who had poked her head out to watch the exchange. She gripped the side of the wall and felt anxious. She hoped Todoroki didn't take him here to beat him up or something. Then she'd have to intervene. Heck, she wanted to intervene right now. But, she knew Bakugo was right behind her watching them as well. To be honest, she also wanted to see what was going to happen. She looked at Todoroki's menacingly ice cold glare and gulped.

"That glare of his is intimidating. Way more than Kacchan. At least to me." Ami thought. Although she realized she was just more familiar with Kacchan's glare over the years. Putting that fact away, she continued watching Todoroki.

"I was overwhelmed." Todoroki admitted, causing both Ami and Bakugo's eyes to raise questionably.

"And it made me break the promise I made to myself a long time ago." Todoroki said, pulling his left hand out of his pocket. Ami and Bakugo glanced at each other at the mention of a promise.

"Promise? What promise?" Ami thought, raising an eyebrow in deep thought. She rubbed her chin and continued listening.

"Iida and Kaminari. Yaoyorozu and Tokoyami. Uraraka…" Todoroki said, listing off their teammates' names.

"None of them felt it. In that moment, I was the only one who could sense your true power." Todoroki stated, looking down at his hand, "it reminded me of something... experiencing All Might's quirk." Todoroki said.

"Oh, yeah? Okay…Is that all?" Izuku stuttered, feeling his body tense up

"Shit." Bakugo thought, thinking that Todoroki might've been onto Deku. Ami had the same reaction to Todoroki's choice of words. The both of them started to fear the worst.

"Oh, no." Ami thought, biting her nails in fear. She prayed Izuku wouldn't say anything about his quirk. Denial went through her mind. The entire time she had hoped Izuku wouldn't spill about his quirk. There's no way he would let it happen again, right?

"I'm saying… the power coming from you felt the same as All Might's." Todoroki admitted. Ami and Bakugo's eyes widened at Todoroki's words. Ami felt her eye twitch as she listened in on their conversation. They glanced at Izuku and saw the nervous panic on his face. Ami clenched her fists and felt herself begin to panic. Bakugo could only glare at Izuku and grind on his teeth.

"Deku, you better not say it." Bakugo thought.

"Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no." Ami panicked, thinking that this was it.

"Midoriya, tell me…" Todoroki said, getting everyone in the room to stop breathing all at the same time. Izuku knew what he was about to say. In his mind, all he could do was panic once more at the fact another student had figured it out. And he didn't even know Todoroki that well.

"Are you really All Might's secret love child or something?" Todoroki asked, solemnly. The delivery of his line backed up by the intenseness of his glare stunned the three students. Izuku stared back at him wide eyed, completely dumbfounded. Ami looked down the hall with the same exact reaction upon hearing Todoroki's question. Her brain couldn't process the words that came out of his mouth. Bakugo looked at Todoroki under a new light at that moment. A look of bewilderment formed on his face, absolutely baffled by Todoroki's conclusion.

"He's a complete moron." Bakugo thought, loosening his grip on the wall.

"Is he...What?!" Ami thought, sharing the same amount of shock on her face as her twin brother. Izuku heard that question float around in his head, completely throwing him off.

"Am I...What?! Izuku thought, shocked beyond belief that that was what Todoroki thought. He tried to get his brain running again and tried to justify that conclusion in his head.

"Okay. I get why he'd think that. As insane as it sounds..." Izuku thought, trying to think of a response.

"Well, are you?" Todoroki impatiently questioned him, forcing Izuku to quickly come up with a reply. Izuku raised his eyes and waved his arms around and denied his theory.

"No, no way, that's not it at all! But I guess even if I was I'd totally say I wasn't. So you probably won't believe me no matter what. I bet. Anyway, I promise. You've got the wrong idea." Izuku promised, flailing his hands.

"And...why would you even think that about me? You know Ami's my sister and everything…" Izuku mumbled, nervously. Todoroki nodded his head in response.

"I'm aware. I've thought of that, too." Todoroki clarified, getting Izuku's attention.

"Huh? You have?" Izuku asked, skeptically.

"Adopted." Todoroki stated bluntly, keeping his cold stare on Izuku. Izuku froze at the response, once again unable to audibly reply.

"But...we're twins..." Izuku thought, his voice stuttered in his own head. Hiding in the corner, Ami heard Todoroki's statement and couldn't stop herself from grinning. She immediately covered her mouth in an attempt to hold back.

"Pfft…" Ami choked, trying to be as quiet as possible. Her inability to hold in her laughter caused Bakugo to look down at her with a glare. He flared his nostrils and gritted his teeth at her, hoping that she wouldn't give away their presence.

"But, your choice of words," Todoroki said, "You said, that's not it at all." He quoted. Hearing that quickly shut Ami up, forcing her attention back on them.

"It's interesting wording. It suggests there is something between you two that you're not supposed to talk about." Todoroki assumed, unnerving Izuku more than ever.

"U-uh…" Izuku stuttered, unable to think of a reply to that. He really didn't want him to figure it out. Not after promising All Might that no one else knew about One For All.

"My father is the hero, Endeavor." Todoroki admitted, causing all three of his listeners' eyes to widen as far as they could go. Ami's eyes widened at the admittal, connecting the dots of where she heard Todoroki's last name. She couldn't believe she didn't realize it sooner. Todoroki was Endeavor's last name. Endeavor was Todoroki's father. Ami cursed herself for not figuring it out. She was never much of an Endeavor fan despite having a fire-related quirk. Endeavor always had an intimidating look on his face that scared her as a child. She could see the family resemblance now.

"His father must have recommended him." Ami assumed, narrowing her eyes at him. Bakugo also narrowed his eyes at the revelation. The reveal explained where he got his fire from but it didn't explain the ice or why he didn't use his fire.

"You've must've heard of him. Which means you're aware that he's the number two hero. So, if you're connected to the number one hero, All Might, in some way...That would mean...That I have even more reason to beat you." Todoroki said, causing Ami and Bakugo to glare at him, anger rising out of both of them. Both had different reasons to be mad at his declaration of war.

Inside The Stadium

"I haven't talked to you since that press conference ten years ago. Been a while. I saw you and figured I'd say, hi." All Might waved, a giant smile firmly on his face.

"Did you now? Endeavor questioned, " Well then, if that's all you wanted to do, we're done." Endeavor said, walking away from All Might.

"Huh?" All Might said, watching Endeavor walk down the stairs with a confused stare.

"Chatting like we're old friends." Endeavor growled, shaking his head, "What a joke." he said, rolling his eyes. All Might watched him walk down the stairs and quickly recovered from Endeavor's rude attitude. He laughed and leaped in the air, doing flips and twirls midair. He landed gracefully at the bottom of the stairs right in front of Endeavor, forcing the number two hero to stop.

"Come on, why the cold shoulder?" All Might asked, spreading his arms out. Endeavor looked at the number one hero and growled, wanting him out of his way.

"You should be thrilled. After all, your son's doing very well out there, just using half his power. You must be a great teacher." All Might congratulated, smiling big and wide. Endeavor caught that side comment from All Might and lowered his eyes into an accusatory look.

"Are you implying something?" Endeavor questioned, staring into All Might's face.

"No. I want to know your secrets. How do we train the next generation of heroes?" All Might asked, getting a grunt from Endeavor.

"Do you really think I'd tell you anything I've taught the boy?" Endeavor asked, brushing away All Might's question. He walked down the stairs and kept his eyes straight, looking away from All Might.

"You're all flash and no brains as usual," Endeavor rudely commented, "Outta my way." Endeavor said, shoving All Might's shoulder away from his path. He walked down the second set of stairs, leaving All Might staring at his back.

"Okay." All Might frowned, crossing his hands. Endeavor heard the sad tone of All Might's voice and stopped.

"Let me assure you of one thing, All Might," Endeavor said, looking back at All Might, "Whatever it takes...that kid of mine will beat you, someday." Endeavor said, with a solemn voice and a seriousness in his eyes. The thought of seeing his son surpassing the number one hero brought a smile to his face. A strange smile that had a small hint of craziness to it.

"I'll make sure of it. That's why I made him." Endeavor grinned, unnerving All Might. All Might heard the last sentence and grew confused at the choice of words. His last sentence echoed through his head. All Might felt sweat drip down the side of his face after hearing that.

"You did what?" All Might asked, getting slightly concerned over Endeavor's sanity. Endeavor heard the question and looked back at him again. There was a serious glare on his eyes that assured All Might that Endeavor was serious. Frankly, All Might was getting intimidated by the number two hero. He could barely keep up his smile against Endeavor's crazily determined eye.

"He's in a rebellious phase right now. But he will take your place. I'll make sure of it." Endeavor assured him, revealing both of his crazily determined eyes to All Might. There was no hiding that look in his eyes. Endeavor looked at the expression on All Might's face and turned his head away from him. His intimidation had gotten a successful result. All Might watched Endeavor walk down the stairs and chose not to follow him. After he turned a corner and vanished, All Might took a deep breath and sighed. He had to admit that scary look on Endeavor had affected him.

Faculty and Student Entrance

"My old man is ambitious. He aims for the top. He used his power to make a name for himself as a hero. But he was never able to best All Might, so the Symbol of Peace is living proof of his failure." Todoroki explained. As he talked to Izuku, he thought he had heard a noise down the hall and looked over to his right. Ami and Bakugo had seen his head turn their direction and quickly reared back. Todoroki glared down the dark hall and continued talking while looking.

"He's still at it, though, trying to take down All Might. One way or another." Todoroki explained, keeping his glare down the hallway. Izuku didn't notice what Todoroki was looking at and spoke up. He didn't understand what Todoroki was telling him.

"I'm not really sure what you're getting at." Izuku stated, getting Todoroki's focus back towards him, "What are you trying to tell me, Todoroki?" Izuku asked. Todoroki looked at Izuku's confused face and decided to continue, ignoring what he thought he had heard down the hall.

"Have you ever heard of...Quirk Marriages?" Todoroki asked, giving Izuku his full attention. Izuku heard the question and opened his mouth to speak up. But no words came out. He, of course, had heard the term before. He and Ami remembered learning about it in History Class back in Middle School, however, his memory of it was mostly fuzzy. Hiding in the corner, both Ami and Bakugo glanced at each other with raised eyes at the mention of the term. They were familiar with it as well, being classmates and all.

"They became a problem in the first few generations after superpowers became widespread. There were those who sought out potential mates solely with the intention of creating powerful children. Many people were forced into relationships. They were simply viewed as old-fashioned arranged marriages. But, clearly, it was unethical. My father has not only a rich history of accomplishments, but plenty of money to throw at his problems. He bought my mother's relatives to get his hands on her quirk. And now he's raising me to usurp, All Might." Todoroki explained, clenching his fists while he talked. Hearing that bombshell brought surprised looks to everyone who heard him. Ami covered her mouth and quietly gasped, forming a frown on her face. Bakugo was silent and simply stared at the ground after hearing his speech. Izuku gasped after hearing Todoroki's words. He was shocked to hear that Todoroki's parents had gotten together the way that they did,

"It's so annoying. I refuse to be a tool for that scumbag." Todoroki complained, looking down at the ground. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists tighter. He hesitated for a moment on continuing and decided to keep going.

"In every memory of my mother...I only see her crying. I remember she called my left side unbearable, before she poured boiling water on my face." Todoroki said, covering his face with his hand. He wasn't expecting to get so emotional simply telling his story to someone. In the corner, Ami was horrified to hear the explanation for the burn mark on Todoroki's face. Even though his face didn't show it, Bakugo was also horrified to some extent by the revelation. He never imagined that was the origin of the burn mark on his face. Izuku gasped once more at the revelation. He couldn't believe that someone could do that to their own child. It made him question what sort of life Todoroki had growing up. Why would a hero like Endeavor let this happen?

"The reason I picked a fight with you was to show my old man what I was capable of doing. Without having to rely on his damned fire quirk. You see, I'm going to show him that I reject his power, and I can take first place without using it." Todoroki stated. Silence filled the room after Todoroki's statement. Bakugo leaned back on the wall and gathered everything that he heard.

"What the hell?" Bakugo thought. It was all he could think of after hearing that. He glanced down at Habanero and saw the absolutely mortified look on her face. Looking at her eyes, he could see a tear had fallen down it. He looked at her expression and could tell what she was thinking. He could see that look of regret on her face. He raised his eyes at her in confusion. His neutral expression quickly turned into an angry frown.

Ami stared at the ground thinking about what she just heard. Feelings of regret flashed through her mind. Not only did she feel incredibly bad about his backstory, but she also felt she could empathize with him. She clenched her fist and pulled her hand off her mouth. She slumped to the floor and stared at her legs in shame.

"I'm such an idiot," Ami thought, visibly frowning, "I did it again, didn't I?" Ami questioned herself, feeling a wave of sadness hit her. The situation reminded her of Iida. She judged him just because of a negative interaction with her brother.

"Additionally, you, with the unkempt hair." Iida said, his words echoing through her mind.

"You've been muttering this entire time. Stop that. If you can't bother to take this seriously, leave. You're distracting the rest of us." Iida demanded, getting an angry reaction from Ami. She remembered looking down at him scornfully. She wasn't going to let that slide anymore. She wanted to stand up for her brother.

"Hey! Why don't you take a chill pill and relax, richy." Ami blurted out, coming to her brother's defense. She remembered how she felt then. She judged Iida based on that one interaction with him, alone. Then, when she actually met Iida, it turned out to be nothing. He ended up being different than how she imagined. He became a friend of her brother, and a friend of hers. She felt her mind focus on an earlier memory, one she still had trouble fully remembering. The terrified sensation she felt trying to remember it made her wince in fear. The image of the sleepy-looking General Studies student with purple hair appeared in her head. She could remember their earlier conversation before she had lost her ability to control her body. But events afterwards were still a little fuzzy. But amidst that confusion, she could remember something he said to her while she was in his control.

"For once, I'm actually sorry about doing this to a student in the Festival. Sorry it had to be this way" The purple teens voice apologized, sounding remorseful.

"I have to do this. I need to get to the finals at all costs. And I can't hold myself back just to make a good impression." He said, justifying his quirk to her.

"My name is Hitoshi Shinso and I intend to win this match." Ami remembered. That's right! His name was Shinso. She remembered bits of his apology and goal and frowned. She remembered how it felt to break free from his influence. The confusion and lack of awareness she felt in her head. She remembered her reaction to seeing him after Kacchan had unintentionally freed her. As soon as she laid eyes on him the fear she felt under his control frightened her to the point of running away, confusing Kacchan. But now as more bits of her memory returned to her, she felt like she had judged him too soon as well. Yes, he had a quirk that completely scared her out of her mind, but it wasn't like he had a choice. Ami knew that if she had a quirk like his she'd still try to be a hero, too. She couldn't blame him for using it. It just...caught her by surprise. She continued to frown while thinking of Shinso. That made two people that she had judged too soon. As she sat there, her mind focused on before the first race had started. Thinking back to the waiting room, she remembered watching Todoroki walk up to her brother and speak to him.

"From an objective standpoint. I think it's fairly clear that I'm stronger than you." Todoroki stated. Ami heard what Todoroki said and was dumbstruck. The statement seemed like it came out of nowhere to her. Though, knowing what she knew about One For All, Todoroki's perceived quirk superiority would break apart eventually. Her mind continued to play out the conversation in her head.

"Huh?" Ami thought, looking dumbfounded. It was just as surprising to Izuku, too. Who slightly struggled to respond back. Bakugo heard the same thing and simply rolled his eyes at the statement.

"Uh-Um, yeah." Izuku stuttered, caught off guard by Todoroki's statement.

"However, you've got All Might in your corner, helping you out." Todoroki said, "I'm not here to pry about what's going on between you two. But know that I will beat you." Todoroki calmly declared, getting on Ami's nerves. She felt her body tense up at the words used on her brother. It angered her. It still angered her.

"Alright." Ami thought, hearing enough from the cold teen. She stood up from her seat and approached the two students with Kirishima behind her. Kaminari let out a nervous gasp and stared at the tense scene in front of him.

"What's with all these declarations of war lately?" Kaminari wondered, nervously.

"Yeah, what's the big deal? Why are you pickin' a fight all of a sudden? And right before we get started." Kirishima asked, putting a hand on the back of Todoroki's shoulder.

"Yeah. And that's my brother you're talking to." Ami said, walking up behind Izuku with narrowed eyes and arms crossed. Todoroki ignored Ami's looks and shrugged Kirishima's hand off his shoulder.

"We're not here to be each other's friends. Don't forget. This isn't a team effort." Todoroki said, echoing through her head. Those words pissed her off then. But after hearing what she had heard, it made her wonder.

"Did he really mean it?" Ami thought. Was history just repeating itself with Todoroki? No, that wasn't all of it. Something about his words reached deeper into her. It was familiar yet she couldn't understand how. Yet, the more she thought about it, the more it made her frown.

"The reason I picked a fight with you was to show my old man what I was capable of doing. Without having to rely on his damned fire quirk. You see, I'm going to show him that I reject his power, and I can take first place without using it." Todoroki stated, repeating over and over through Ami's head.

"I'm going to show him that I reject his power, and I can take first place without using it." His words repeated through her head.

"His life and his reasons are entirely different from mine, but...it's similar." Ami thought, realizing something about both of their pasts, "We're the same, aren't we, Todoroki?" Ami questioned, putting a hand over her stomach where her flame organ is located.

"You refuse to use your fire because of your father. You reject one side of your quirk and focus on the other." Ami thought, thinking back to her early life. When she first started practicing with her lighter, her body couldn't hold as much outside flames then. Over time her ability to collect fire improved while she continued to neglect her fire breathing. And when she did use it to save someone, it dehydrated her fast.

"I never blamed my father for the quirk I inherited from him. But, still, I rejected my fire breathing side and only focused on collecting flames. I was afraid of hurting others with my quirk. But you? Unlike me, you didn't reject your quirk out of fear. You're only doing this because of your father."

"If things had turned out differently, I could've ended up like you. Fully rejecting my quirk and living life in fear of my own power. I might not even be here if that were true." Ami thought, frowning. She wondered how she got so lucky with getting over her fears until an aggravated whisper had interrupted her thoughts.

"Stand the hell up, Habanero." Bakugo whispered angrily, getting her attention. Ami looked at Bakugo with a questionable look and saw that glare of his pierce her soul. Looking at his face, another memory of hers flashed through her mind. A memory of watching a young Bakugo use his explosions in public without a care in the world. She looked up at him for a few seconds before the memory faded, feeling a quiet sigh escape her mouth. She looked back at the ground and hid her smile from Bakugo.

"That's right." Ami thought, realizing something about herself. She clenched her hands and slowly stood up, allowing herself a second to catch her breath. She peeked her head back out to watch Todoroki and Izuku shortly after. It was good timing, too, as Todoroki decided now was the time to leave.

"You're obviously connected to All Might. Even if you won't tell me about it. But no matter how fiercely you come at me in the future. I will defeat you using only my right side. I can assure you of that." Todoroki assured, absolutely determined to win with only his ice.

"Hey, wait!" Izuku shouted, running out after Todoroki. Todoroki heard his shouts and stopped. Izuku didn't approach him and stood his distance, looking at him with a determined look..

"I'm only here because others have supported me. I've been really lucky. In fact, I've had even more help since I've come to UA." Izuku said, thinking about the people who cared for him and pushed him to keep going.

"All Might is constantly saving people with a fearless smile. He's the greatest hero. And I wanna be just like him. In order to do that, I have to be strong enough to become number one. I know my motivation might seem stupid compared to yours. But, still, I can't lose this, either. I owe it to everyone who supported me to try my best." Izuku said, solemnly. He raised his hand to the front and clenched his hand into a tight fist.

"You declared war on me earlier. Well, right back at you." Izuku said, keeping a solemn expression on his face.

"I am going to beat you." Izuku assured him.

Ami heard the confidence in Izuku's voice and grinned. The drive in his voice made her happy. Despite Todoroki doubling down on beating him and hearing his backstory, Izuku was not deterred. She couldn't say the same for herself, though. The guilt of once again judging someone too early crossed her mind. And Todoroki's rejection of his fire had hit too close to home. A frown formed on her face as she pulled her head back. Looking back at Bakugo, her eyes widened upon seeing him already walking away.

"Let's go." Bakugo said, sounding more irritated than usual. He didn't bother looking back to see if Habanero would follow. Ami looked at him in confusion and nodded, quickly catching up to him. She heard the irritation in his voice and wondered what it was towards. They both heard what Todoroki said. Why did Bakugo sound more annoyed than before?

Stadium Interiors - Hero Section

When the announcement of the lunch break came over the speakers, heroes had vacated their seats for a chance to get something to eat. Many of them expressed their enthusiasm and excitement for the Sports Festival's finals. A small group of heroes talked and laughed listening to their stories of heroism, not noticing the two heroes that had slipped out of the group. Backdraft and Wyvern were these heroes. Backdraft's stomach growled while they walked. Wyvern had his hands in his pockets, keeping a stoic look on his face. Wyvern grimaced at the sound of Backdraft's stomach, feeling he was also about to starve. A lot of thoughts went through his head as they walked inside the stadium. None of them got past the nagging voice in his head that demanded food.

"Alright, already." Wyvern said out loud.

"Huh? What was that?" Backdraft asked, glancing at Wyvern.

"We'll find a vending machine." Wyvern replied, seemingly ignoring Backdraft's question. The two heroes turned a corner and entered a rather quiet portion of the stadium. They walked down the halls in silence, searching for a vending machine.

"So, Class 1-A." Wyvern said, changing topic.

"Hm? What about them?" Backdraft asked.

"You saw their powers. What do you think about them?" Wyvern asked.

"They have potential. Honestly, I was impressed by every one of them." Backdraft laughed.

"Though, if I had to choose right now. I'd say the Midoriya twins, Bakugo, Yaoyorozu, and Todoroki were the most impressive."

"They all showed excellent thinking skills and problem solving. No doubt they'd do well as firefighters." Backdraft said, proudly laughing.

"Tch. Thinking about them as firefighters, huh?" Wyvern asked, grinning at the comment.

"Can you blame me?" Backdraft asked, causing Wyvern to shake his head.

"Guess not." Wyvern said, returning to his stoic expression. His face lowered even more than before, turning into a more serious expression, "And, in regards to the investigation, how are they?" He asked, staring at Backdraft. Backdraft caught sight of his seriousness and immediately knew what he was implying. He frowned at the question, letting a sad sigh escape his mouth.

"...Alright. If my thoughts were correct, then they all have useful quirks. Though, I can't say for sure yet about the Midoriya boy." Backdraft stated, giving an honest answer.

"Hm... So, is it possible that's the reason they were split up?" Wyvern asked, nodding his head at Backdraft's answer.

"It might be. As much as it pains me to admit." Backdraft said, grimacing at the very thought of the fear each of the students had that day. Even worse, his head couldn't stop thinking about the USJ Nomu and how incredibly disturbing it looked. Wyvern looked at Backdraft and knew he was thinking bad thoughts, causing him to slightly frown.

"Well then, we should be lucky they all made it out." Wyvern commented, pushing away the horrifying thought.

Vvvvvvvvvvvvv

"Hm? Who's that?" Backdraft asked, hearing the vibration of the phone. Wyvern felt the vibration in his pocket and reached for his phone. He pulled out his phone and read the notification.

"Who is it?" Backdraft asked, wondering who was calling the stoic faced hero.

"The detective. The test results must have come back." Wyvern said, pulling out his phone. He read the notification and expected a text message. Instead of a text, he received a voicemail which caused him to audibly groan.

"Ugh. Voicemail. I gotta listen to this." Wyvern groaned, looking around for people. Down the hall he saw a sign signifying the bathroom and nodded.

"I'll be in there. Don't let any hero in." Wyvern said, heading towards the bathroom. Backdraft looked at Wyvern rush ahead and called out to him.

"Wha-hey!" Backdraft said, watching Wyvern barge into the bathroom, "Ugh. Fine." He groaned, standing guard in front of the bathroom door. Wyvern entered the bathroom in silence, walking up to the large mirror and sinks. He looked at himself through the mirror and adjusted his hero costume. He looked at the bathroom stalls through the mirror and checked the bottom for any sign of heroes inside them. Seeing no sign of heroes in the stalls he walked away from the mirror and entered one of the stalls himself, closing the door behind him. After a second of waiting, he pulled out his phone and stared at the voicemail.

"Hey, Wyvern. This is Tsukauchi, I just got back from getting the results of the DNA sample. First, I wanna say thank you and your Health Syndicate for the help you've done with the investigation. The samples from your Missing Persons Investigation have been tested and compared with the DNA from the USJ Nomu. I'm looking at the results right now and I'll tell you now. It isn't good news." The detective said, causing Wyvern to drop his forehead onto the door frame. It didn't hurt. Wyvern heard the comment and sighed, taking deep breaths waiting for the detective to spill the results.

"The DNA results confirmed that one of the missing person's on your list is, in fact, the Nomu that attacked the USJ." Tsukauchi confirmed. Wyvern winced at the confirmation, clenching his fist on his free hand. His worst fears were confirmed.

"I didn't wanna call you because I knew you and Backdraft were at the Sports Festival. I can't tell you all the implications these results bring up in text, so I opted to tell you through voicemail instead. Because of the length of time between now and when this person went missing on your list, it tells us that this League of Villains has been operating far longer than previously thought. And, even more disturbingly, somehow turned this man into a mindless monster. We're still not done testing the USJ Nomu. There are some other oddities present about him that we're still scratching our heads over. But going by what we have on the captured Nomu and the recovered tail and eyewitness reports from the prison bus attack. It was definitely another Nomu that freed the two prisoners. We still haven't tested the recovered tail sample but, whoever it belongs to, I just hope it's none of the other missing persons on your list. That's all the news I have to give you now. I'm sorry to tell you this. When you and Backdraft leave the Sports Festival be sure to give me a call." Tsukauchi said, hanging up.

Wyvern heard the voicemail come to an end and closed his eyes. He pulled his phone away from his ear and sighed, lowering his eyes to the bathroom tiles. He put his phone away and stood there in silence. A glare formed in his face as he thought about the results. The USJ Nomu and the Nomu that attacked the prison bus were connected. Worse yet, the USJ Nomu was one of the people in his Agency's missing persons case. Hearing it was enough to piss him off, breaking through his stoic exterior. He glared at the metal wall and groaned, slamming his fist into the wall of the metal stall. A blanket of fire had risen out of the back of his neck and slithered across his hand, covering his whole arm in flame. The flames had covered his fist before it made contact with the metal, perfectly shielding his hand from any damage. Wyvern looked at the fire on his arm and sighed.

"Thanks." Wyvern said, pulling his hand back to his side. He stared at the metal wall of the bathroom stall and saw how much the metal had bent from the force of his punch. He'd definitely have to pay for that if anyone found out. He sighed and shrugged his shoulders, taking deep breaths. Feeling the heat on his arm, he wandered out of the stall and headed towards the sink. He looked at himself in the mirror and saw his hand was completely uninjured from his punch. It did feel warm, however. He turned on the sink and washed his hands, letting the heat cool down in his hand.

He looked up at himself in the mirror while washing his hands. He thought once more about what he was told and frowned. Backdraft was right about the Nomu. The DNA results confirmed it. A memory from a few days ago swept through his mind, remembering the meeting where he first met Backdraft. That was where he heard Backdraft's theory about the Nomu.

"If this missing person on your list and this Nomu that attacked the USJ are the same person, then what if…"

"What if what?"

"What if these villains also intended to capture a student and turn them into one of these things?" Backdraft theorized. The memory of their meeting exited his mind.

"Damnit. After all these years of searching, this is how we find one?" Wyvern asked himself, closing his eyes in an attempt to calm down. Taking a deep breath, he relaxed and headed towards the door. He slowly opened it and saw Backdraft outside waiting for him with his arms crossed. Backdraft turned around and saw the stoic expression on his face, unable to discern what happened in the bathroom

"Well, what did he say?" Backdraft asked. Wyvern looked at Backdraft for ten seconds thinking of what to say. It was harder than he thought. Instead he shrugged and shook his head.

"I'll tell you later." Wyvern said, wandering off down the hallway. Backdraft looked at Wyvern with his eye raised, wondering what the detective had told the stoic hero.

"Who's hungry by the way? We could use some pretzels." Wyvern said, thinking about food. Backdraft watched Wyvern walk ahead of him with an annoyed look. Something bothered Wyvern and it made keeping a stoic face difficult for the hero. Backdraft lowered his head in thought. The detective's message must have frustrated him. He glanced up at Wyvern and sighed, shaking his head and shrugging his shoulders. He could only guess that Wyvern was trying to spare his mood. His stomach growled again, reminding him of why they were walking around in the first place. He couldn't deny he was hungry. Backdraft walked over to Wyvern and quickly caught up, deciding it was best that Wyvern tell him what the detective said later. While walking down the hall, they passed by another hallway and saw a lone blond skeleton man wearing a rather nice suit. The two heroes stopped to look at him. Wyvern looked at the skeleton man and realized he hadn't noticed them yet. Wyvern looked at the blonde haired skeleton and nodded his head at his choice of attire. The skeleton man that he assumed was a janitor was wearing a nice suit. Wyvern turned and faced the janitor and called out to him.

"Hey, man. You work here?." Wyvern greeted, walking up to the walking skeleton. The man jumped at the voice and slowly turned around. He gasped at the sight of Backdraft which Wyvern had caught sight of. Wyvern looked at the man with one eye raised and didn't pay much attention to his thin face. He walked up to the janitor and touched his shoulder.

"One of the stalls in the bathroom back there is super bent. You should probably go check that out or something." Wyvern explained, glancing towards the bathroom door. The so-called janitor followed Wyvern's eye movement looking over at the bathroom door with him.

"Uhh-..." The janitor muttered, before he was quickly interrupted by Wyvern.

"Well, that's all I had to say. Keep up the good work by the way. These floors are spotless." Wyvern smiled, patting the skeleton man's shoulder. He bowed in respect at the Janitor's work and turned around. The janitor in question looked at them like he had seen a ghost. Wyvern decided to pay his scared expression no mind. He caught up with Backdraft and the two heroes continued walking down the hall.

"Did you know that guy?" Wyvern asked, glancing at Backdraft.

"Why would I know the janitor?" Backdraft questioned, looking at Wyvern in confusion.

"He looked at you like he recognized you." Wyvern said.

"Well, we are heroes." Backdraft mentioned, their voices getting quieter as they walked further down the hall.

"Then why didn't he recognize me?" Wyvern asked. That was the last thing All Might heard from the two heroes as they walked away. He took a deep breath and relaxed. Not one second ago, he relaxed out of his muscle form thinking no one was around. Had he waited one second more, Backdraft and Wyvern would've spotted him.

"That was a close one." All Might said, wiping sweat off his forehead.

UA High School Exterior - Lunchtime

The walk back to UA between Ami and Bakugo was a silent one. Ami had a depressed frown in her face, keeping her head lowered as she thought about the Obstacle Race and the Cavalry Battle. Hearing how Todoroki had gotten that burn mark on his face had caused her to regret her own negative thoughts towards the teen. What happened to him deeply disturbed her. She couldn't imagine the type of living situation Todoroki had to be in for someone like his own mother to do that to him.

On the other hand, Bakugo kept the usual glare on his face, except it was more serious looking than usual. He stood tall with hands in his pockets, looking at the sight of the main U.A. building in the distance. He heard Habanero shuffling along behind him. Sometimes, she'd kick up dirt by accident by shuffling her foot on the ground rather than taking a proper step. That action caught Bakugo's attention, which caused him to sometimes glance at Habanero and see that sad expression still plainly visible on her face. That sad expression was starting to annoy him. It was not the attitude she should be having after getting the most ridiculous second chance of her and her teammates entire lives. It bothered him more than it should've because he was already pissed off by the day's events. Getting fed up with her sad expression and the uncomfortable silence between them, he gritted his teeth and glared at her, stopping his movements.

"What are you doing, Habanero?" Bakugo asked, breaking the silence. Ami heard Bakugo's question and looked up at him through the sad look in her eyes, stopping as well. She thought about what to say in response and ended up only saying one word.

"Thinking." Ami answered, putting her head down. Bakugo turned his head and looked at her with both eyes, completely unsatisfied by that answer. He flared his nostrils and shook his head. Seeing that sad look in her eyes allowed him to understand what she was so sad about. He resumed walking soon after, making a guess at her sadness despite knowing the answer.

"You're thinking about what he said to Deku, aren't you?" Bakugo asked, getting a slow nod from Habanero. Ami should've known he'd figure out her reason for being sad immediately. She was, after all, a bad liar by his own words.

"Yeah…" She replied, looking back down at the ground.

"Don't let it get to you." Bakugo replied, getting Ami to look back up at him questionably. She wasn't expecting that reply.

"Huh?" Ami said, surprised by Bakugo's response. She wondered if he was trying to cheer her up or something.

"It's just a distraction. Nothing more." Bakugo stated, nodding his head at his own words. Ami walked beside Bakugo and saw the absolutely sure look he had plain-as-day on his face. She thought about what he was saying and wondered what exactly he thought about Todoroki's past himself.

"You think he's lying?" Ami asked, raising an accusatory eye at Bakugo. Bakugo immediately scoffed at her assumption, giving her a glare as punishment.

"Don't put words in my mouth." Bakugo said, "He may be telling the truth but that doesn't change anything." He said, bluntly. Thinking about Todoroki's facial expression and his body language, Bakugo could tell his story was real.

"Doesn't change what?" Ami asked, confused by his answer.

"We're still going to crush him." Bakugo said, acknowledging Habanero's own declaration of war on Todoroki.

"You heard what Deku said to him. He declared war right back at him. Don't forget, none of that shit was meant for us to hear. What happened to him was bullshit, sure, but I'm not going to change what I think or do against him. He's still the enemy. To you, and me. One sob story isn't enough for me to hold back against that bastard and neither should your dumbass." Bakugo warned, adding an insult to her expense. Ami looked at him with an unamused face. He always had a way with words. Still though, what he said wasn't wrong either. She understood where he was getting at with his comments. As sad as Todoroki's life was, he was still her opponent. She couldn't let his backstory change that. Still, she couldn't ignore what Bakugo had also admitted.

"So, he does think what happened to him was sad." Ami thought, feeling better about herself. She remembered that annoyed expression on Bakugo's face while they were walking out of the stadium and wondered what his opinion was about Todoroki. Hesitating for a second she spoke up and asked him a question.

"So, what did you think? About what he said about his parents?" Ami asked, nervously. Bakugo heard the question and scoffed.

"Yeah, I heard what he said about Endeavor. I knew he was a dick from reading about him online but that quirk marriage bullshit takes the cake. But still, even if his father's an ass, he's a complete moron. Holding himself back because of his dumbass father. It pisses me off." Bakugo stated, causing Ami to frown.

"And his mom?" Ami asked, causing Bakugo to go silent for at least ten seconds. That was harder to respond to. Honestly, it wasn't something he could easily ignore about the teen's past. Maybe he did feel sorry about his mom, but he wasn't going to tell Habanero about it. Rather than answer her question, he chose to ignore it and focused on Todoroki's ice.

"That ice of his isn't something to take lightly. One mistake against him and it's over. He'll take any chance he has to win. Even if it means telling someone his sob story." Bakugo said. Ami looked at Bakugo with a raised eye and a confused face.

"So, that's all it is to you? A sob story?" Ami asked, walking alongside Bakugo. Bakugo didn't bother looking at her this time and kept his eyes on the building ahead.

"That's all I want it to be." He said, making himself clear. Ami looked at him and scoffed. It wasn't the kind of response she was hoping for. She frowned at him and hid her disappointed expression. She looked at Bakugo's face in her peripheral vision and saw the same amount of conflict in him she felt in herself. She could tell he was thinking about what Todoroki said, too. Who would blame him? Both of them weren't meant to hear it to begin with. Even if he didn't want to say it, she could almost tell he was sorry for him. Ami shrugged and decided not to press on with the topic, knowing she'd never get a straight answer from him. The two walked for several minutes without saying a word to each other. The school was getting closer and closer. A thought sprouted into Bakugo's head. Seeing they were only a few minutes away from the cafeteria, Bakugo decided now would be the time to ask.

"Habanero." He growled. Ami heard her nickname and glanced at Bakugo.

"Hm?" She mumbled.

"I have to ask you something." Bakugo said, catching Ami's interest.

"What is it?" She asked, wondering what he wanted to talk about.

"You were acting strange earlier. Before the Cavalry Battle started. That General Studies student. What did he do to you?" Bakugo asked, narrowing his eyes at her. Ami immediately flinched at the mention of the General Studies student. Thoughts ran through her head upon hearing the question. She knew why Bakugo was asking her that. She remembered what happened the second she broke free from Shinso's quirk. She was so confused and so scared that she barely said anything to Bakugo before she freaked out and ran. Before she could answer what happened, another thought had crossed her mind.

"Wait? How did Kacchan know it was the General Studies student?" Ami asked herself, thinking back to how he could possibly know that.

"Well, to tell you the truth. I'm still figuring that part out. I-I don't know what he did to me. It was so...strange. It was his quirk, though. I know that much." Ami answered truthfully. Bakugo saw the honesty in her face and knew she wasn't lying to him. He nodded his head and made no reply.

"What did it look like to you, anyway? I-If you don't mind me asking..." Ami asked, stuttering her last sentence. She had memories return to her after her mind imprisonment. She thought back to the words that Shinso said to her while under his control.

"For once, I'm actually sorry about doing this to a student in the festival. Sorry it had to be this way, I should've started it as soon as you talked but I hesitated. A big mistake on my part." He said, walking back to Ami's field of vision.

"I have to do this. I need to get to the finals at all costs. And I can't hold myself back just to make a good impression." The purple haired teen apologized, staring into Ami's brainwashed eyes.

"For what it's worth, you'll still end up in the finals after this so relax. My name is Hitoshi Shinso and I intend to win this match. Now walk over to that side of the field. The others are waiting." Shinso said. Ami remembered those words and frowned. It was then that Bakugo decided to answer her.

"You were walking all alone. I yelled at you and shouted but nothing got your attention. You kept walking and didn't even stop. So I got angry and got in front of you. And that's when I saw-" Bakugo said, stopping himself from continuing. He gripped his pockets and closed his eyes. The sight of her eyes burned into his head.

"Saw?" Ami repeated, " Saw what?" She asked.

"-Then I saw your eyes. They were different. They were wrong…" Bakugo stated. He remembered what it was like to stare into her eyes at that moment. The sight of them confused him greatly, causing him to forget what was happening around him. He couldn't forget how they looked when he first saw them. Her once bright green eyes were no longer colorful. Instead, her green eyes were replaced by an empty black circular outline of her eyes. The iris was clouded and foggy. He wondered if Ami was able to see through them. It wasn't just her eyes that made him concerned. Her facial expression was lacking any positive emotion. Her skin was paler than usual and a noticeable frown was on her lips.

"I only saw them for a few seconds before you snapped out of it. But it was long enough to see the look on your face. You looked afraid." Bakugo answered. Ami heard what she looked like from Bakugo's perspective and gulped, feeling sweat drip down her forehead.

"It's okay. I see now. That would explain why you grabbed my wrist. I'm sorry if I made you worry." Ami apologized, causing Bakugo's eyes to widen. Bakugo quickly turned around and glared at her, eyes twitching like mad.

"Pfft. As if." He denied, scoffing loudly. He shook his head and looked away from her.

"Who the hell said I was worried? Why would I be worried about you, huh? You looked stupid under that mind control anyway!" Bakugo exclaimed, showing offense to Habanero's suggestion. Ami rolled her eyes at his offense to the slightest suggestion of friendship between them.

"He's getting so worked up over an apology." Ami thought, surprised by his outburst. Hearing his outburst caused her to look at him funny. Soon enough, that funny look she gave him twisted into a smile, followed up by her giggling. Bakugo narrowed his eyes at her giggling and scoffed. He quickly composed himself and continued to speak.

"I just needed to get your attention." Bakugo said, assuring both himself and Habanero.

"For what?" She asked, causing Bakugo's eyes to widen. He questioned himself for saying it like that and regretted it. He internally groaned and clenched his fists in his pockets.

"...Damnit." Bakugo thought, realizing he'd have to tell the truth.

"Shitty hair, wanted you on my team." Bakugo admitted, surprising Ami.

"What? You wanted me on your team? So you really do care?" Ami said, causing Bakugo's eyes to twitch. Between her and Deku, it was getting harder to decide which one annoyed him more.

"And, Shitty Hair? You know, Kirishima's hair isn't that different from yours." Ami smiled, holding in her laughter.

"Yes, it is! You don't know what you're talking about. And I never said I wanted you on my team anyway!" Bakugo yelled, defending his explosive hair style. Ami couldn't hold it in and giggled even more, which irritated Bakugo. It annoyed him, but it was an improvement against her even more annoying frown. He decided to return back to the topic.

"So, do you remember what it was like?" He growled, solemnly.

"I think so. I'm starting to remember it more and more as time passes. I remember being scared. Confused. My movements weren't my own. And no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't break free. Then you showed up and suddenly I was okay again." Ami said, rubbing the wrist that Bakugo grabbed hold of.

"I guess if it weren't for you. I would've been on his team. So, thanks." Ami acknowledged, smiling at Bakugo. Bakugo narrowed his eyes at her smile and scoffed.

"Hmph." He said, flaring his nostrils,"Yeah, whatever." He said, hiding the slight embarrassment on his face. Another minute passed before the two had reached the Cafeteria. Ami looked inside and saw the large gathering of students and gulped. As soon as they walked in, a whole squad of cheerleaders happily skipped by them. Ami and Bakugo looked at the cheerleaders in surprise, wondering where they came from.

"Who were they?" Ami wondered, watching the girls run down the hall.

"How should I know?" Bakugo replied, shrugging his shoulders. Before Ami could get another word out, she heard her name from across the Cafeteria. Recognizing the voice, she turned her head and looked at the approaching figure running towards her. In an instant her mood instantly improved as she saw the happy smile coming from Izuku Midoriya.

"Ami!" Izuku exclaimed, raising his arms out.

"Izuku!" Ami exclaimed, rushing after Izuku. The twins met halfway and instantly locked arms, hugging each other with tears falling down their eyes.

"I was looking all over for you. I'm so happy we're going to the finals together!" Izuku cried, hugging his sister.

"Me, too! I'm so happy!" Ami cried, hugging Izuku back. Bakugo saw the twins hugging and reared back. Tears escaped their eyes as they held onto each other in celebration. None of them seemed to care that their emotional reunion was being watched by several groups of students nearby. Bakugo watched them and shook his head, stepping away from them.

"Give me a break." Bakugo thought, rolling his eyes. Izuku opened his eyes after crying and noticed Bakugo walking away from them. He looked at him in confusion and realized he and his sister both arrived at the same time.

"Kacchan? You're with Ami? Where were you two?" Izuku asked, getting Bakugo's attention. Ami stopped crying and the twins pulled away from each other. Bakugo glared back at the twins and scoffed.

"None of your business, Deku." Bakugo said, bringing a confused frown to Izuku's face.

"It's alright, Izzy. I got lost inside the stadium and Kacchan helped me out. That's all." Ami said, thinking up an excuse. Bakugo narrowed his eyes at her excuse.

"Oh, alright." Izuku nodded, feeling like that wasn't the entire truth. He decided to let it go and smiled at Ami.

"Well, anyways, did you see who started the chanting on the hero section?" Izuku asked excitedly.

"Of course I did!" Ami answered enthusiastically, "It's Backdraft! Oh I can't believe he's here!" Ami exclaimed, clasping her hands together in joy.

"Oh, by the way. I saw who you teamed with earlier. Tokoyami and Dark Shadow were amazing."

"I know, he really saved my group in the end. We never would've gotten fourth place without him." Izuku said.

"Not to mention you teamed up with Uraraka again." Ami grinned devilishly, elbowing Izuku's shoulder. Izuku started blushing at his sister's choice of words.

"Uh heh-hehe. Yeah…" Izuku stuttered, laughing awkwardly with his hand rubbing the back of his head.

"By the way, who was that other girl on your team? The one with pink hair?" Ami asked.

"Oh, her names, Mei Hatsume. She's from the Support Course, so we got to use some of her gadgets for the battle." Izuku explained, filling her in on his teammates' gadgets.

"Lucky." Ami commented, wishing her team had support items to use. She wanted to keep talking with Izuku about the Cavalry Battle, however, her stomach told her otherwise. Ami felt her stomach growl, causing her to grab her stomach.

"Man, I could use lunch right now." Ami muttered. She looked beyond Izuku's head and noticed the large line of students waiting to get lunch. The huge line sent a shiver down her spine, "Aww. But the line is so long." Ami whimpered.

"That's okay, Ami. I didn't see you here at all when I arrived so I thought I would get lunch for you. It's at the table with Iida and Ochaco." Izuku said, bringing a smile to Ami's face.

"Sweet. Thanks, Izzy." Ami said, appreciating her brother's thoughtfulness. The twins headed off towards the table. Ami couldn't wait to dig in. She was hungry and thirsty thanks to her quirk so she was ready to eat. While the twins walked to the table, however, Ami saw Todoroki in her peripheral vision. Glancing over to him, she saw him eating at a table alone. She frowned at the sight of him, looking at the silent conflicted expression on his face. Ami saw her plate next to Iida and sat down, digging into lunch. Across from that table, Bakugo and his friends were sitting at their table staring at Ami.

"She's eating with her brother today?" Kaminari asked, watching Ami from afar.

"Guess so." Kirishima said, a little sad he wouldn't be able to ask her a question he had recently thought of.

"Welp, guess we saved her spot for nothing." Sero said, looking at the empty seat next to Bakugo.

"Oh yeah, don't mind if I do-" Kaminari said, getting up from his seat. Bakugo heard Kaminari get up and immediately gave him a death glare, he raised his fist and made small explosions come out of his hand.

"Sit there and they'll have to get your dental records to identify you, Duracell." Bakugo threatened Kaminari. Kaminari's eyes widened at Bakugo's threat and immediately sat back down on his side of the table. Bakugo went back to eating angrily. Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima both glanced back-and-forth at one another in confusion as Bakugo ate his lunch. None of them knew or understood why he seemed to be so mad all of a sudden.

Stadium Battlegrounds

"Get those foam fingers in the air! It's almost time for the last round!" Present Mic announced, receiving cheers of excited audience members energized and ready to watch the final round. The contestants of the Sports Festival walked onto the field in silence, taking in the excited applause. Class 1-B entered the stadium first, looking somewhat saddened by their performance in the Cavalry Battle.

"But before that: Good news for everyone who didn't make the finals!" Present Mic announced, grabbing the attention of Class 1-B, "Since this is a Sports Festival. We've prepared some super fun side-games everyone can participate in!" Present Mic announced, getting some hopeful smiles from Class 1-B.

"We even brought in cheerleaders from America to get your blood pumping!" Present Mic also announced, receiving applause from the audience. Backdraft watched the American girls enter the field and raised his eye at their facial features. They all had pointy ears.

"The Americans kinda look like elves, don't you think?" Backdraft asked, wondering if the hero next to him had noticed.

"Maybe they're from a prep school." Wyvern guessed, looking down at the cheerleaders with a stoic expression.

"Huh?" Aizawa said, looking down at the field.

"Hold up…" Present Mic said. Backdraft and Wyvern both looked to the side at the same time and felt their eyes widen at the sight of them. Pretty much everyone in the stadium had the same reaction when they saw Class 1-A.

"What are they doing?" Aizawa asked in disappointment. He started to wish he really were blind.

"Looks like Class 1-A is goin' full-on fanservice!" Present Mic commented, causing the audience to start clapping.

"Hehe." Kaminari cackled, giving a double thumbs up to Mineta. The blushes on their faces made it very clear that the two boys were enjoying this very much. Yaoyorozu heard the cackling from the two students and immediately knew what was going on.

"What? You tricked us?! You're gonna regret this!" Yaoyorozu shouted, raising her fist in the air.

"Well, this is awkward." Wyvern commented, folding his arms. Flames popped up and lifted the covers of extra fabric on the hero's costume. Wyvern looked at the flames flickering on his left shoulder and groaned, facepalming.

The Master Plan: UA Cafeteria - Lunchtime - 30 Minutes Earlier

"Yaoyorozu. Jiro." Kaminari said, looking as serious as possible. Yaoyorozu and Jiro heard Kaminari and both turned around with lunch trays in hand. Standing beside Kaminari was Mineta who had an equally serious face. The serious expressions both boys had gave Yaoyorozu a false sense of security, believing whatever they had to say had no ulterior motive.

"Uh huh, do you need something?" Yaoyorozu asked, wondering what they were approaching her for.

"Well, I'm sure you already know since you're like a Class Rep. But they said all the girls had to wear those uniforms for the big cheer battle this afternoon." Mineta explained, pointing at the cheerleaders happily running in the cafeteria without a care in the world.

"Huh?" Jiro exclaimed, feeling her face turn red at the very thought of wearing a cheerleader outfit.

"That's odd. This is the first I'm hearing about it. Are you sure?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"You don't have to believe me if you wanna get in trouble. But this is coming straight from Mr. Aizawa. I thought maybe you'd forgotten, so I figured I'd remind you, just in case." Mineta explained, making a convincing explanation. If the teacher ever found out about this he was sure he was gonna choke him out with his scarf. Kaminari stood beside him and nodded at his words, keeping a very serious face. He also knew the risks, of course. That's why he thought of a convincing excuse to pin all the blame on Mineta in case he got in trouble.

Back in the present, Yaoyorozu dropped to her knees in utter shame, making an embarrassed frown. She felt like a fool getting tricked by him. In hindsight, she should've known it was a prank.

"Why is it that I always end up falling for that little pervert's stupid schemes? I even used my quirk to make these outfits..." Yaoyorozu whined, questioning her own intelligence. Ochaco smiled at her and crouched down, attempting to comfort her. Meanwhile on Ochaco's right, was the trembling mess known as: Ami Midorya. Her legs trembled in embarrassment as she stared at the sky with a heavy blush forming on her face. The cameras had pointed their lenses on the girls, allowing the audience to see their faces. Ami's face brought pity to many watching.

"Poor girl." Wyvern thought, shaking his head at the scene.

"I can't believe I'm wearing this. Why me?" Ami complained, her whole body trembling with stage fright. She felt exposed wearing the outfit. Sure, it was cute on her and it fit her perfectly thanks to it being custom fitted by Yaoyorozu herself, but she wasn't ready for the viewing public. Her eyes darted left and right, seeing the shock of her fellow classmates' faces. Even Class 1-B was shocked. Of course, Mineta was having a blast. Some of them were blushing while others simply looked away in respect. Ami's eyes twitched as she noticed Izuku looking at her with wide eyes. Almost like telepathy, Izuku had a nearly perfect copy of his sister's embarrassed face. Feeling the breeze on her skin, Ami cringed and instinctively grabbed hold of her stomach, hiding her exposed midriff with her pompoms. The American Dream Plan had backfired. Ami's abs were more apparent than all the other girls. She looked through the shocked crowd and saw Todoroki was looking up at the hero section, seemingly ignorant to what was going on. She continued keeping track of all the students' locations and noticed one was missing.

"Wait, where the heck is Kacchan?" Ami thought, darting her eyes back-and-forth.

"Approachable to all ages, huh, Habanero?" Bakugo said, quoting Habanero. Ami heard Bakugo's voice from behind her and jumped, turning around and facing him. Ami's blush deepened in embarrassment at the sight of Bakugo. Kacchan looked at the outfit she had on and shook his head in disappointment.

"First, your costume, Now this? What kinda audience do you think you're getting with that kind of getup, huh?" Bakugo asked, causing Ami to frown and blush harder.

"Shut up, Kacchan! Don't look at me!" Ami shouted, hiding her embarrassed red face with her pompoms. She dropped to the floor unable to stand on her shaking legs. Bakugo crossed his arms and stared down at her.

"How the hell is this any different from your hero costume?" Bakugo questioned, raising his voice.

"You can see my abs." Ami stuttered, feeling self conscious.

"You could see them through the costume!" Bakugo yelled, crossing his arms. Ami heard his counter and knew he had a point. The bodysuit underneath her hero costume was skintight so her muscles were visible. But still, there was a difference between wearing a bodysuit and showing bare skin.

"This is so embarrassing." Ami whined, causing Bakugo to roll his eyes.

"Get over yourself. It's just a stupid outfit." Bakugo stated, having spent enough time looking at Habanero. He walked away while Ami had covered her eyes, not noticing he walked off. After taking a peek through her pom poms she realized he had wandered off. Ami felt her blush go away and her nerves start to calm down, allowing her to do some breathing exercises to recover. Staring at the ground, she raised her head and stared across the field where the boys were. Her eyes were focused on one target only. She clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, glaring at the perverted smile on Mineta's face.

"After all I did to get our 615 headband back...This is how you repay me, Mineta?" Ami questioned in a whisper. She gritted her teeth and scowled at him.

"I will have my revenge." Ami proclaimed, voice growling. A fire that burned brighter than the sun illuminated her eyes. Her aggressive expression unnerved both Jiro and Tsu. Jiro agreed with Ami's sentiment at least. She was right there when they told Yaoyorozu and even she fell for it? Unacceptable.

"Ugh. I hate those guys!" Jiro shouted, feeling her anger get the best of her. She threw her pom poms to the floor and hugged herself.

"Well, we do have a little time before the finals start, and I kinda like these uniforms, so…" Hagakure said, starting to get into the cheerleader act, "How about we just roll with it?" She exclaimed, happily waving her pompoms in the air.

"Are you crazy?" Jiro exclaimed, blushing in embarrassment at Hagakure's cheerleader routine.

"Wow, Toru. You've got skills." Tsu complimented, keeping a comforting hand on Ami's shoulder. Ami stood back up with her eyes closed and hands to her side. She took deep breaths in and out, attempting to calm herself and remove her embarrassment by repeating the same sentence through her mind.

"Pretend it's my hero costume. Pretend it's my hero costume. Pretend it's my hero costume…" Ami mumbled in a breathy whisper. While she repeated her words, Present Mic talked to the students.

"Have fun competing in these little side games, everyone!" Present Mic said.

"After they're over, the 20 students from the top five teams will be duking it out one-on-one in a tournament-style fighting competition! I promise you're not gonna want to miss these epic match ups!" Present Mic announced, receiving a round of applause by the audience. The jumbotron flashed on and revealed a bracket style layout of the final round. The students saw the tournament bracket and felt themselves get hyped up from seeing it.

"Aw, yeah. Finally gettin' the chance to show what we're made of. I watch these finals every year and now I'm actually in them!" Kirishima exclaimed, clenching his fists in anticipation.

"So, wait. Is it always a tournament?" Mina asked, putting a finger on her mouth.

"The finals are always a one-on-one competition, but they switch it up every time. Last year, it was a foam sword-fighting match." Sero mentioned, remembering watching the previous year's Sports Festival.

"Hey, why's there only 16 students on the jumbotron?" Ami blurted out, getting the other students to take notice.

"I'll answer that one." Midnight said, getting the students attention.

"We weren't expecting to include the fifth team in the final round. These screens are only programmed to include 16 students." Midnight said, looking at the bracket on the jumbotron.

"So, with that in mind, a decision had to be made in order to fit fifth place and still keep the 1v1 format of the tournament. The fifth place students will be fighting to replace the other students in the tournament." Midnight explained.

"What?"

"How is that going to work?"

"I'll explain. The matches will start out in order by number. Match one will go first, Match two goes second, etc. However, Match three, four, five, and, skipping ahead, match eight, will include pre-matches. Members of fifth place will be fighting in these pre-matches to replace a student in the bracket. Any fifth place member that wins in the pre-match will take their opponents place in the tournament. Of course, to keep things fair for the winner of the pre-matches, they will be given more time to regain their strength when they enter the bracket." Midnight explained,

"As for teams 1-4, you will be drawing lots to see who you'll be up against. Who knows, maybe you'll be the one fighting fifth place in the pre-matches? Now then, enjoy the pleasure of the recreational games before we start. The 20 finalists have the option of participating in those activities or sitting out to prepare for battle. I'm sure you all want to conserve your stamina." Midnight finished explaining, holding up an orange box.

"I'll start with the first place team." Midnight said.

"Uh. Excuse me." A voice in the crowd interrupted, getting the students attention. Ami turned towards the source of the voice and saw it was Ojiro. She raised her eye at him and noticed the conflicted frown on his face, causing her to wonder what he was doing.

"Sorry. But I'm withdrawing." Ojiro blurted out, causing his surrounding classmates to gasp.

"What?" Ami gasped, doing a double take. She held onto her pom poms even tighter than before. Her mouth dropped in surprise at the withdrawal. The look on her face showed she was reasonably upset with questions running through her head as to why he would quit. The other students didn't take the withdrawal positively either.

"Ojiro. No way!" Izuku gasped, shocked by Ojiro's decision.

"But this is a rare chance for you to get scouted." Iida brought up, raising his hand. Ojiro gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, standing his ground.

"It just wouldn't be right. I barely remember anything from the Cavalry Battle until the very end of it. I… think it was that guy's quirk." Ojiro stated, getting both Ami and Bakugo's attention. Ami's eyes widened upon hearing Ojiro's words. She looked through the crowd of students and saw the purple haired teen in her vision. Seeing him caused part of her to feel fear again. She gulped and stood her ground, narrowing her eyes at Shinso. She internally slapped herself for not realizing that Shinso would have moved on towards another target after failing to recruit her with his mind control. She looked back at Ojiro and frowned, feeling horrible for what was happening. She knew full well that what happened to him could've easily been her.

"I know this is a great opportunity. I wish I could take advantage of it, but my conscience won't let me." Ojiro said, justifying his actions.

"Just think about this."

"I have, okay?" Ojiro said, raising his voice, "Everyone gave their all in round two, but I was just someone's puppet. No way. I don't wanna advance if I don't even know how I got here. It wouldn't be fair." Ojiro said, absolutely sure of his decision.

"You're making way too much of this! Just kill it in the finals and prove you should be here." Hagakure said, trying to change his mind.

"Yeah, what she said. I didn't do much in the battle, either." Mina agreed, comparing her situation with Ojiro's. Ojiro didn't budge from the girl's comments, choosing to stick by what he said.

"That's not it." Ojiro said.

"I'm talking about my pride here. I refuse to give that up." He winced, feeling his teeth grind.

"Ojiro…" Ami frowned, squeezing her hand into a tight ball. She looked down on the ground and took in everything he said. She couldn't believe he'd withdraw from the final round just like that. She didn't hang around Ojiro very much but she did know something about him. He was a fighter. Memories of the Fire Zone went through her head. He was the one who rescued her from nearly getting hit by the Obsidian Villain's lava. He was also there with her to fight the villains. And after she had exhausted all of her flame in one gigantic hyper beam of plasma and fire, he was there to carry her and get them both out of the Fire Zone. She'd be dead if he wasn't there at the Fire Zone with her. He was a good person and to be taken advantage of by a quirk like Shino's? He didn't deserve that. And because of that, she owed it to him to succeed in the finals.

"Also, why are all the girls dressed like cheerleaders?" Ojiro asked, too embarrassed to look at any of the girls. Ojiro's question made them instantly self conscious, causing them all to groan.

"Nirengeki Shoda from Class 1-B. I think I should withdraw for the exact same reason. Regardless of how strong I am, this isn't how I wanted to get here. It would go against the values of the festival to advance without earning my spot." Shoda said, explaining his reasoning. Back in Class 1-A, Kirishima watched the scene play out and couldn't help but cry over the sheer amount of manliness taking place.

"Listen to these guys! They're so manly!" Kirishima said, tears falling down his eyes. Up in the announcers room, Present Mic and Aizawa looked down at the scene on the field and were surprised to hear the two students were withdrawing.

"Well, now. It's just one weird event after another this year." Present Mic commented, thinking of the exciting twists that had already happened. He couldn't stop himself from imagining the ratings this year would get on television.

"We'll have to see what Midnight has to say about all this. She's the one in charge." Aizawa said, shifting the decision making over to Midnight again. Midnight stared at the two boys withdrawing and narrowed her eyes at them.

"This sort of talk is incredibly naive, my boys. That turns me on! Shoda! Ojiro! You're withdrawn!" Midnight announced, making a very strange face. The students listening all looked at her with wide eyes and disturbed facial expressions.

"Did she say it turns her on?" The students asked. Ojiro facepalmed in embarrassment, too ashamed to look at Midnight. He then felt a hand gently touch his shoulder, causing him to look back and see Aoyama staring at him with a serious but fabulous smile.

"Don't worry. I'll win it for you." Aoyama said.

"Now let's see. We already have fifth place locked in so we'll have to move up two students from the sixth place cavalry team." Midnight said, looking over at sixth place. The ginger haired girl took notice of Midnight's staring and spoke up about her team's performance.

"We were frozen most of the time. Honestly, we barely did anything in the cavalry battle." Kendo pointed out. She turned her head and looked at the expressions on her teammates' faces. They all flashed smiles at her, agreeing with her words.

"Isn't that right? Girls?" Kendo asked, looking at her teammates. They're supportive smiles were all the indication she needed to know that they understood what she was doing.

"You should choose from the group that kept fighting the whole time. Team Tetsutetsu." Kendo recommended. Looks of surprise erupted from Team Tetsutetsu upon hearing Kendo's recommendation despite being seventh.

"Kendo!" Tetsutetsu shouted in response, trying his hardest to hold in excitement. Kendo made a supportive smile towards Tetsutetsu and his teammates.

"I'm not doing this as a favor. It's just fair." Kendo said, smiling. Tetsu looked at her face and felt his excitement festering.

"Seriously, you guys! Thank you!" He shouted, giving in to his excitement. Shiozaki smiled at Kendo and nodded at her, accepting her generosity.

"And so, Tetsutetsu and Shiozaki have advanced to the final! Take a look at the bracket, my dears. These are your opponents!" Midnight shouted, revealing the matches on the jumbotron. The students all got to see the people they'd be up against on the large screen, feeling the tension rise. Some were quiet, some were laughing, and some were crying. Among these different reactions were two students sharing the same level of disappointment towards the person they'd be fighting against. Match seven was between Tetsutetsu and Kirishima, causing both of them to shout in protest.

"Seriously? How does this keep happening?" They both exclaimed, staring each other down. Off to the side of them, Tokoyami and Yaoyorozu glanced at each other upon seeing their names on the jumbotron. Match six was between Tokoyami and Yaoyorozu. The two stared at each other, nodding their heads at each other.

"I'll give it my all." Tokoyami said, breaking the silence. Yaoyorozu nodded, accepting the challenge.

"Good. That's all that I ask of you." She said. Ami looked up at the jumbotron and watched as the bracket changed into a different slide. The new slide showed the pre-matches and which student was going to fight who. She looked at the screen and looked at the opponents her former teammates would face. The first pre-match would be Match Three with Minoru Mineta and Vine Girl, Ibara Shiozaki, from Class 1-B. Mineta was drooling at the thought of fighting a girl.

The second pre-match would be in Match Four between Tenya Iida and Tsuyu Asui.

Ami narrowed her eyes at that matchup. It was between friends, which made it harder to decide who to root for. Iida and Tsu saw the screen and walked towards each other.

"Tsu. I look forward to our match." Iida said, bowing in respect.

"Me, too. Ribbit." Tsu said, nodding in agreement. Skipping over to Match Five, she tensed her muscles at the sight of her name on the Jumbotron. Match Five would be between Ami Midoriya and Yuga Aoyama. She narrowed her eyes at him, thinking back to his quirk. It was like the fire breathing side of her quirk but instead of coming out of his mouth, a sparkling laser shot out of his belly button. It was a strange thing to describe in her mind, almost as strange as seeing it. She remembered how he used his naval laser to propel himself forward during the fitness tests. It inspired her to do the same with her own quirk. Ami watched as Aoyama approached her, showing off his winning smile.

"Ma cherie, I'm afraid this is the end of the road for you." Aoyama said, shaking his head with a bright smile that was the epitome of confidence. Ami raised an eye at his threatening comment and replied, crossing her arms.

"I promise not to embarrass you in front of everyone." Ami fought back. Aoyama didn't seem bothered by the comment and simply struck a pose, oozing with confidence. Ami was a little confused by his behavior, it seemed to be more...theatrical than before. Ignoring it for now, she looked at the last pre-match in the bracket and got goosebumps at Shoji's opponent.

"Oh, no. Poor Shoji." Ami thought, looking at the board. Across from her, Shoji looked up at the board and clenched his fists, glaring at his opponent on the screen.

"Great." Shoji said, unenthusiastically. Shoji's opponent was the worst one for him. Bakugo.

"Shoji's fighting Kacchan last." Ami muttered, silently wishing Shoji luck. He was gonna need it against Kacchan. With the pre-matches all figured out in her head she focused on the actual matches themselves and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. She started searching for Izuku's name and quickly spotted him on the bracket.

"Izuku's the first match. And he's up against-" Ami let out an audible gasp at the name of his opponent, "No way. Izzy's fighting Shinso." Ami whispered, feeling her anxiety increase. She immediately went searching for her brother in the crowd and saw him. Unfortunately, she also saw him talking to Shinso. Ami felt her stomach churn, rushing after Izuku in an instant.

"That is you, right? Izuku Midoriya?" Shinso asked, staring at Izuku with a tired expression, he nodded his head and greeted him, "A pleasure. So, you excited?" Shinso asked, looking at Izuku with a curious expression. Izuku was startled by the purple haired teens' tired appearance but kept his composure.

"I am-" Izuku said, getting his sentence cut off by a tug of his arm and a tail wrapping around his mouth. Izuku was surprised to see Ami grab hold of his arm along with Ojiro's tail wrapping around his mouth and spoke to them with muffled words.

"Not so fast." Ojiro said, looking at Shinso with a glare.

"Don't talk to him, Izzy." Ami warned, looking at Shinso with a serious glare. Shinso looked at the green haired girl holding onto Izuku's arm and understood what she was doing.

"Heh. Protective sister." Shinso grinned, wandering away from Ojiro and the Twins. Once Shinso had walked far enough away, Ami and Ojiro finally let go of Izuku. They both sighed and took deep breaths, confusing Izuku even more.

"Wha- Ami, Ojiro. What was that for? Izuku asked, turning around to face his sister and his friend.

"You can't say a word to him." Ojiro responded, getting a confused look from Izuku.

"He's right, Izzy. You can't risk it." Ami nodded, agreeing with Ojiro.

"Huh?" Izuku questioned, not sure what they were saying. Off on the other side of the field, Bakugo stared up at the jumbotron. He scoffed and flared his nostrils upon learning he would have to fight a pre-match. He saw the name of his opponent and recognized them immediately, his mind returning to the Cavalry Battle. He watched how Shoji charged through Todoroki's ice. He had power and his grip strength was better than anyone else in class. Too bad for Shoji, none of that meant anything to Bakugo. He had explosive power on his side and he was going to crush him with it.

"Octopus." Bakugo growled, eager to destroy the six-limbed man. Staring up at the jumbotron again, he looked further up and saw the name of his next opponent after Shoji and leaned his head back in confusion. That name rang a bell to him, but he couldn't seem to understand why.

"Uraraka? Who the hell's that?" Bakugo wondered, staring at the jumbotron. Uraraka was standing a few feet behind him when he heard what Bakugo said. She looked at him and gasped, wondering how he could've possibly forgotten who she was. A sense of dread had also formed inside her mind. Of all the opponents her first fight would be with, it had to be him? She could only hope his preceding match with Shoji would tire him before starting their match.

Off to the side, Mei Hatsume saw the bracket on the jumbotron and rubbed her hands in excitement. Her first opponent would be Tenya Iida. He was perfect for what she had in mind. Of course, he had to fight and win against the frog girl first. She supposed she could think of something else to show off in case the frog girl was the winner. Her plans to get noticed by companies everywhere across the world depended on Iida winning that pre-match. Mei had a crazy spark in her eyes, turning around and searching for Iida with a twisted smile. Finding him in the crowd was easy enough. She noticed the engines in his legs and got excited.

"Hey, legs. You're Iida, right?" Mei asked, getting Iida's attention.

"Hm? Correct. I'm Tenya Iida." Iida replied, getting a smile from the pink haired girl.

"Ah! That's perfect. Hope you win your match, Iida. I have something nice for you!" Mei said, her eyes shining with joy. Iida was concerned by the tone of her voice and that joyfully crazy look in her eyes.

"Okay. Let's press pause for a momentary interlude! Before the battles begin. It's time for some pulse-pounding side games!" Present Mic announced, commencing the interlude time. The interlude kicked off with the American girls performing their cheerleading act. However, they were quickly upstaged by Japan's own impromptu cheerleading team. The girls of Class 1-A had sadly given into the outfits and the cheerleading routine, deciding it was better off making use of them since they were already wearing them. Yaoyorozu was still unhappy but she appreciated the girl's efforts to make it so using her quirk to make the outfits wasn't a waste of her powers.

"Woohoo!" The girls of Class 1-A exclaimed, doing their best performing as cheerleaders for students. Ami joined along with the other girls and, to her surprise, was actually doing okay as a cheerleader. All she did was wave her arms in the air and jump around, but it was better than nothing. However, there was still a slight embarrassed blush on her face while she cheered alongside her classmates. The lone girl that opted out of cheerleading looked at Ami with a questionable glance.

"You look like you hate this more than me yet you're still doing it?" Jiro said, talking loud enough to get Ami's attention.

"I'm just pretending I'm wearing my hero costume." Ami explained, jumping up and down slightly out of breath and with a calm voice.

"Oh. Is it working?" Jiro asked, noticing the nervous look on Ami's face.

"A little." Ami admitted, sounding more out of breath. Cheerleading was hard and she wasn't even dancing like Mina was. Admittedly, she never learned how to dance.

"Alright. I think I've had enough embarrassment for today." Ami said, stopping her cheerleader routine. She walked over to Jiro and took a seat next to her. Jiro heard the comment from Ami and nodded in agreement.

"I'm with you there. I'm Jiro by the way. Kyoka Jiro." Jiro said, introducing herself to Ami. Ami nodded and gave her a welcome smile.

"Hi! I'm Ami Midoriya. But you probably already knew that. I like your hair." Ami said, giving Jiro's hair a compliment.

"Thanks." Jiro said, appreciating the comment about her hairstyle. While the two made conversation on the ground Jiro started to realize this was the first time she had a legitimate conversation with one of the twins.

"Huh…" Jiro blurted out, getting a confused look from Ami.

"What?" She asked.

"Sorry. I just realized this was the first conversation we've ever had." Jiro said, getting Ami to raise an eyebrow at her. She thought about it in her head and realized it as well.

"It is?" Ami asked, receiving a nod in confirmation from Jiro.

It's strange. We're in the same class but I don't think we've interacted that much." Jiro pointed out, wondering what took so long to speak to each other.

"That is strange." Ami acknowledged, also wondering that very question. After a few minutes of sitting around watching the other girls act like cheerleaders, Present Mic hyped up the crowd for the true beginning of the minigames.

"First, how about a scavenger hunt?" Present Mic shouted, receiving excited applause. The students taking part in the minigames grabbed cards with specific items they needed to get from the audience. Some were entirely reasonable while others were downright impossible. Sero was the first to grab a card. He looked at the item demanded by the card and cracked a smile. He was one of the fortunate ones.

"Hey, anyone up there got a bag they can give me?" Sero asked, looking up at the audience members. He held up his card for the audience to see. Several others taking part received reasonable items as well. However when it came to Sato's card, it was asking for something completely abnormal.

"A cat?" Sato questioned, staring at his card incredulously, "Anyone sneak a cat!?" Sato asked, waving his card around for the audience to see.

"Anybody got a textbook?" Kaminari asked, running towards a different side of the stadium. Ami decided to try her luck with the cards and grabbed one for herself. She looked at the card and what it demanded of her and felt her smile falter. Reading the text on the card, it demanded she receive a ring from the audience. But not just any ring.

"Huh? A wedding ring? Are you serious?" Ami asked, gripping onto the card. She approached the audience and showed them her card.

"Hey, is anyone married up there? Can I borrow your wedding ring?" Ami shouted, innocently. It took her two seconds to immediately regret asking. Her eyes widened as she doubled back on that request.

"Actually, wait, don't do that! Your spouse might get mad!" Ami shouted, retracting her request with a flustered face. She really hoped no one would actually throw their wedding ring at her. On the other hand, she was starting to question if these cards were just trying to see if you could rob the audience. Standing a couple dozen feet from Ami was Mineta, who was staring at his card with shock. The item requested on his card was simply titled, Body Fat. It was an outlandish request that simply disturbed Mineta.

"Body fat? What in the heck?" Mineta suttered, wondering what the heck he was supposed to do with a card like that. He started to regret taking part in the stupid minigames.

"What a joke. They're actually taking these dumb side games seriously? As usual, those Class 1-A idiots really need to get their priorities in check." Monoma said out loud, a disappointed smile strewn across his face.

"Monoma! If you're not playing, come with me." Kendo said, approaching Monoma with a look of determination. Monoma looked at Kendo confusingly and hesitantly replied to her request.

"Okay?" He said, giving her permission. Kendo immediately raised her hand up with the card in her hand, making Monoma read it. Once he did, he felt his eyes burst out of their sockets.

"A perverse person?" Monoma thought, unsure where she could've gotten that idea from. Before he knew it, Kendo expanded the size of her hands and grabbed hold of Monoma's body, squeezing him tightly so he wouldn't escape. While Monoma was in her grasp, he contemplated his own actions. He wondered what led to him being described as perverse, A term Monoma did not want to be affiliated with, for it was not true at all. He hoped.

"Uh… I think you may have the wrong impression of me, Kendo." Monoma said, defending his character with a slightly embarrassed expression. Kendo disregarded his response and continued restraining him in her giant hands.

"Trust me. This fits." Kendo said. Ami watched the ginger girl run off with a blond trapped in her giant hands and raised an eyebrow at them.

"I wonder what her card demanded from her?" Ami wondered. She then heard footsteps approaching from behind her, causing her to turn around and face them. Before she could turn all the way around, his familiar angry voice got her attention.

"Habanero." He growled in annoyance.

"Hey, Kacchan. Are you playing, too?" Ami asked, giving him a friendly smile.

"No. Put your stupid clothes on already. Deku and the Monkey want to talk." Bakugo said, glaring at Habanero. Ami looked at Bakugo with a confused stare. She heard him mention a "Monkey," and guessed it was Ojiro. She connected the dots and realized they were probably talking about Shinso. She wondered why they needed to talk with her since she never told Izuku or Ojiro about her encounter with Shinso, unless Bakugo had told them something. She nodded at him and headed over to the stadium tunnel with him close behind. Bakugo leaned on the wall and waited for Habanero to exit out of the girl's locker room, thinking this was a waste of time. He wondered why he even decided to approach the monkey boy in the first place. However, that annoying feeling got in the way again. He wanted to know more about what that purple haired teen with the tired eyes did to her. Right on time, He raised his head up to see Habanero walking out of the locker room in normal gym clothes with a look of relief on her face. He could tell she was happy to get out of that cheerleader costume. He was also relieved to see her out of it. He was getting tired of looking at her. Ami noticed Bakugo leaning on the wall and was a little surprised to see he was waiting for her outside. She guessed it was because he knew where Izzy and Ojiro were and she didn't.

"Bout time." Bakugo complained, causing Ami to roll her eyes.

"Sorry, I didn't think you'd be waiting. I appreciate it."

"Uh huh." Bakugo said, shaking his head in annoyance.

"Now where's Izzy and Ojiro at?" She asked, returning to the topic.

"Follow me." Bakugo said, getting off the wall and walking down the hall. Ami quickly followed after him, a smile forming on her face. Ever since he learned about One For All, Bakugo's been acting differently around her and Izuku. Maybe it was because he was more trusting of them now after telling him the truth about Izuku's quirk. Either way, he seemed to be making an effort to keep the secret intact, something that Ami appreciated a lot. All Might and Izuku did, too.

"Even though we were told to have fun, those of us in the tournament couldn't relax. Some tried to come up with a strategy. Some tried to rest their bodies. There were those who prepped for the fight. Or tried to hype themselves up. And others still who just focused on trying to calm their nerves. We wanted to be ready for anything. And before we knew it, the finals began." Izuku narrated.

"That's it. I'm pretty much done here." Cementoss said, finishing up flattening the new battleground for the students to fight in.

"Thank you, Cementoss!" Present Mic thanked, "Hey, sports fans. Are ya ready?" Present Mic asked, striking poses in the commentator room. Aizawa was the only one who could see it, which made him question why he was doing it.

"After all the action you've already witnessed, it's time for the real battles to begin! Can ya feel the excitement?" Present Mic announced, receiving thunderous applause. In the hero stands, Backdraft and Wyvern eagerly waited for the first match to begin.

"Finally. A chance to see that boy's quirk." Backdraft said, excited to see Izuku in action. Wyvern held his head up with both hands on his chin, looking down at the battlefield in stoic silence. The voicemail he had listened to was still looping in his head. He held out hope that this match between Midoriya and that Shinso kid would help keep his mind away from the voicemail.

Bakugo took a seat far from everyone else in his class. He looked down at the empty battlefield with an intense glare and folded arms. After listening to the conversation Habanero and the Monkey had with Deku, he was sure the match would end in a second. As long as the idiot kept his mouth shut. Soon after he took a seat, Habanero followed after him and took a seat next to him.

"Who said you could sit next to me, Habanero?" Bakugo growled, looking at Ami with an annoyed glare. Ami gave him a weaker glare and rolled her eyes.

"Oh, c'mon, Kacchan! We sit next to each other in school." Ami pointed out, wondering how this was any different.

"Besides, it's better to sit next to friends and not be all alone." Ami said, explaining her reasoning. Despite the negative attitude he gives her, Bakugo was still her friend. She looked at him with pleading eyes to which Bakugo responded by narrowing his eyes. He examined her body language and noticed she was tapping her foot on the ground anxiously. He knew why of course. The first match was with Deku and that guy with a mind control quirk. He sighed and unclenched his teeth, giving in to the fact Habanero was not going to leave him alone. He could accept it, as long as she didn't speak or talk to him at all.

Ami and Bakugo both stared down at the battlefield in quiet anticipation for the first match. The rest of their classmates took notice of Ami's silent stare and wondered what was going on with her. They thought she'd be excited to see her brother in the first match. Only one other student sitting across from them understood what was at stake for Midoriya in this first match. Ami and Ojiro had hoped that Izuku wouldn't fall to temptation or provocation. Bakugo had hoped the same, only of course, it was because if Deku loses in the first match, then there's no way he'd have a chance to crush both twins in the finals.

Down in the tunnel leading into the battlefield, Izuku stood there in silence. He hid himself in the dark and listened to Present Mic's commentary.

"Sometimes, heroes have only themselves to rely on! Heart. Skill. Strength. Wisdom. Courage. They'll have to use all of these things to rise to the top!" Present Mic said.

"Hey!" All Might called out, getting Izuku's attention.

"Sorry I haven't said hi. You've been great. You harnessed One For All." All Might said, giving Izuku a thumbs up.

"No, not really." Izuku said, not feeling like he accomplished anything about One For All.

"I'm… still worried about using it." He admitted, forming a frown on his face.

"I imagine the egg in the microwave or how it felt to hit that villain. But, I'm still not in control. It feels so unpredictable, like I might be ripped apart if I'm not completely focused. Besides, I'm still not ready to fully wield it, I can tell. Even after so much training, my body is weak. I just can't handle your power at 100 percent." Izuku said. All Might couldn't help but agree with Izuku's words, putting a hand on his chin in thought.

"Yeah. If we're talkin' about how much of One For All you'd be able to use at this point, I'd say my closest guess would be around five percent or so." All Might theorized, making a good approximation of Izuku's power. Izuku heard the extremely low percentage and jumped in shock.

"What? Only five percent? Wow, okay." Izuku frowned, feeling like his confidence just took a hit from All Might.

"I guess I really have only been getting by because of luck, Ami, and my friends helping me out." Izuku stated, feeling his mood significantly get more and more depressed. All Might looked at the sad expression on Izuku's and shook his head at him. Without getting noticed, All Might brought his hand down on Izuku's head, smacking him with his skeleton hand. The impact of the smack caused All Might to grunt, bearing the pain of smacking him without activating his power.

"All I wanna hear you say is that you'll do your best, damnit! There's no such thing as luck. You're never gonna become the hero you want if you believe in somethin' like that." All Might scolded him, shaking the pain away in his hand.

"Listen. Whenever you're scared or nervous about a fight. Just try and deal with it by smiling!" All Might said, turning into his muscle form.

"You've made it this far, kid. Even if you're worried, you must stand tall! Don't forget that I'm counting on you. And cheering you on! Just like your sister watching in the stands. Or your mother watching on tv." All Might said, flashing a supportive smile at Izuku. Izuku looked at his signature smile and smiled back. All Might was right. His sister was watching him and he knew she had his back. And so did Kacchan, maybe, hopefully, sort of. Feeling reinvigorated he turned his head towards the tunnel exit, ready to take on the first match. He was prepared, he was ready, and he was warned. What Ami and Ojiro told him was a massive help. He wasn't going to let them down.

The torches around the battlefield bursted into bright large flames signifying for the match to begin. The audience erupted into excited cheers. Finally, the moment they've all been waiting for.

"Alright, audience. Let's cut to the good stuff and not delay these finals any longer. Welcome our first fighters!" Present Mic announced, the jumbotron switched to a versus screen featuring pictures of the two fighters. Shinso looked menacing on his side while Izuku had that scared nervous expression on his face.

"Whoa, he looks kinda scared in that picture, doesn't he?" Present Mic questioned, receiving a mix of excitement and positive laughter from the crowd.

"It's Izuku Midoriya from the hero course versus Hitoshi Shinso from general studies, who really hasn't done anything to stand out yet." Present Mic commented. Both Ami and Bakugo glanced at one another after hearing Present Mic's comment. If only Present Mic knew.

"The rules are simple. Immobilize your opponent or force them outta the ring. You can also win by getting the other person to cry uncle!" Present Mic said.

"Bring on the injuries, we've got our very own Recovery Girl waiting on standby! So put your morals aside and don't be afraid to play dirty! But, of course, no life-threatening crap, folks. It's not allowed. Real heroes use their power to throw villains in jail, not kill them." Present Mic explained.

"I'll stop anyone who tries to get too rough." Cementoss interjected, using his quirk to build himself a concrete chair to sit on.

"So, you can just give up, huh? In a way, this is a test of how strong your spirit is. If you know what you want your future to hold for you, you can't worry about what other people think."

"READY?" Present Mic screamed into the microphone.

"That Monkey was going on about his pride earlier." Shinso said, his insult grabbing Izuku's attention.

"BEGIN." Present Mic said, starting the match.

"But I just think he's an idiot for throwing away his chance like that." Shinso said, pushing just the right buttons to trigger Izuku's anger.

"Don't you talk about him that way!" Izuku shouted, running towards Shinso. Shinso looked at Izuku with a victorious grin.

"And there it goes." Shino thought, activating his quirk. And he didn't even have to pull the sister card. In an instant, something snapped inside Izuku. It was fast and it caused a wave of confusion to suddenly flow through him. Before he could land a punch on Shinso, he suddenly froze in his tracks. Seeing Izuku suddenly stop his advance towards Shinso had confirmed the worst case scenario for both Ojiro and Ami.

"Izzy, no!" Ami shouted, covering her mouth in fear. Bakugo glanced at Ami and saw the scared expression on her face. He could even see her start to tremble again. Ojiro also shouted out at Izuku upon seeing him stop moving.

"I warned him not to say anything!" Ojiro shouted at the same time. Both their outbursts caused great confusion to spread through Class 1-A. None of them had yet to grasp the severity of the situation. Bakugo, however, did. He was there in that room when Habanero and the Monkey warned him about the purple guy's power. Seeing Izuku stop meant only one thing and it made his anger instantly go past his boiling point.

"That idiot! Didn't he listen to a damn thing you said to him?" Bakugo shouted, erupting out of his seat with rage.

"Hey. Hey. What's the dealio? This is the first match! It should start out with a bang!" Present Mic complained.

"The fight has just begun and Izuku Midoriya is...completely frozen!" Present Mic commented, unable to make sense out of this turn of events. Aizawa watched the scene and narrowed his eyes. He quickly realized there was more going on here that others weren't noticing. Hearing Present Mic talk brought a smile to Shinso's face.

"That's it. I win." Shinso stated with absolute certainty.

Author's Notes: Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a great fun summer. I realize I've been apologizing a lot lately everytime I post a new chapter but I can't help myself. As it stands, my promise of completing this season before season 5 ends has been a total bust as I'm nowhere near completing the season. I've made great strides planning out the next chapters in my head so I do know where I'm going with them. The new matchups will hopefully be fun to write about. I'm really sorry for not making the time to work on this series more. College takes a lot of my time for most of the day and with the fall semester starting on Monday it'll take even more of my time. I appreciate all the reviews that tell me to keep on going because I really don't plan to stop. I will do my best to make the time I have work for you and me. Before we get into this chapter, I have something to say.

I have an announcement to make about Hero names. I won't be accepting any more hero names for Ami. The list has been closed and her hero name has been decided on. Thanks everyone for your suggestions. It was very hard to pick a name on the list but I had to choose only one and I did. Now because I don't want people to keep giving me more names I think it's better if I say it upfront in my notes. Ami's hero name will officially be Flame Guard from now on. The name was chosen based on its meaning and because of its professionalism. This hero name will not be acknowledged in the story until I reach the hero names episode.

So one of the things that changed in this alternate universe is Bakugo's thoughts about Todoroki and his past. The reason his reaction to Todoroki is different from canon is of course because of Ami. I think Bakugo would've also picked up on the similarities between Ami and Todoroki. The similarities he sees are not very positive. Hence why he's more pissed off here than in canon. A better explanation will take place in the story itself later on in this arc.

Now about the scene between Tsukauchi, Wyvern, and Backdraft. This is the first major setup to how I plan to handle the next arc since I plan to write around the Hero Killer fight and focus on Ami during the Nomu Attack on Hosu. I thought of lots of ways to add these characters into the story without it looking like a complete stretch. I wanted their reasoning for being where they are to match with the plot of the Nomu attack. You'll see how it works when I get to that point but for now you'll be seeing more and more setup as time goes on. And since I like when people ask me about their guesses and stuff. I'm a little self conscious about whether or not my hints are subtle or extremely obvious. But I'd like to see if anyone can guess what Wyvern's quirk is now that this chapter's been posted.

Now onto your Questions and Reviews. I got asked a rather strange question the other day about Ami's looks. The question was basically asking if Ami was attractive. I guess a question like that was inevitable since I didn't really put much attention into describing Ami's physical traits. I apologize for that as well. Now, I usually beat around the bush when it comes to that kind of question because I get a little uncomfortable describing a woman's body.

But going by what I've written in the past, I will say this. Ami is attractive. Example being in Chapter 2, I wrote that the boys in Ami's middle school found her attractive after she and Izuku started training with All Might. The physical training she went through increased her muscle size. I don't know how else to describe that. That was only because she was physically training her body with Izuku and All Might. And in Chapter 4, I mentioned that the blue body suit she wore underneath her hero costume was skintight and did no favors in hiding parts of her body. So, I guess you could say Ami is an attractive woman. Visually, I'd say Ami and Mina Ashido have basically the same body type. Though, Ami's muscles are more apparent when she shows skin. Which is why I wrote that she has the most noticeable abs in the cheerleader outfit. In regards to height, Ami's not the shortest in the class nor the tallest. I've always pictured her as being 5"6'. So she's not that tall compared to her classmates. If any of this helps for imagining what she looks like while reading then I hope this is satisfactory. Speaking of chapter 4, I've honestly thought about revising it a lot but I've held off on it because I don't want to accidentally create any inconsistencies in the chapters after it.

More and more people are asking about the romance plot and it's been wild counting them all. I'm really not going to spoil who it'll be but after this chapter gets posted the love interest for Ami will be a lot clearer in future chapters.

This chapter is once again huge. Somehow in my effort to write a shorter chapter, I'm literally writing bigger chapters instead. I have no idea how that keeps happening honestly. But, this chapter took a long time to write. I expected it would of course. Anyways, because of its overall size and the weeks it took to write. I know that even after I'm done with editing that I probably missed some obvious errors. I know I do. After I post this chapter I will be fixing any errors I spot later.

That's all I have to say for now about the story. Thank you to everyone sticking by and asking questions. I appreciate every piece of support given by your reviews and dms. More people are starting to approach me in dms rather than in reviews. I was surprised that I'm getting zero reviews from the last chapter. I'm not really sure if that's good or not. It definitely makes me a little nervous about the quality of my writing. Either way, please leave a review for the new chapter and be sure to include any feedback or questions you have for the future of the series. Thanks everyone for reading and have a good day!
