27: Naruto's Counterattack: Never Give In!

"That just proves that we just can't trust appearances," Sasuke told them. "We have to come up with a way of knowing each of us is, who we say we are, and not some imposter using a Transformation Jutsu."
Naruto nodded his head while Raika looked annoyed.
"Alright, so what do we do?" Naruto asked him.
"It'll be easier if we can come up with something," Raika stated as she meets Sasuke's eyes before carefully looking off behind him and then back again.
The Uchiha narrowed his eyes at that as the greenette was letting him know that someone was listening in on them.
"We need a password," the dark hair Genin informed them.
"What kind of password?" Naruto asked.
"A secret one," Sasuke answered. "Something that is known to only the four of us and don't trust anyone that doesn't know it. No matter what." The kunoichi nodded her head in agreement. "Ok, listen closely because I will only want to say this once. The question will be: When does a Ninja strikes? And the response is: A Ninja waits until the time is right when his enemy sleeps and drops his guard. When his weapons lay forgotten in the stillness of the night. That is the moment for a ninja to strike. Got it?"
…My Line…
A shadow suddenly fell over him making the Uzumaki looked up to see a snake…a large snake.
"Whoa," the blonde gasped. "Wood Style: Four Pillar Prison Jutsu!" Four wooden pillars quickly grew out of the ground and started to surround the snake while creating a cage. "Thank God." The snake hissed at the blonde, who smirked. "Nice try!"
With a laugh the Uzumaki took off into the forest with a mocking wave over his shoulder.
…My Line…
"Oh, you would love to get your hands on our Earth Scroll, wouldn't you?" she asked as she held it up and wrapped her tongue around the scroll and swallowed it making the greenette to gap in shock. "Well, when this is all over…" Her tongue ran over her lips. "One of us will have both scrolls…" Raika and Sasuke gasped in shock. "And the other will be…DEAD!"
…My Line…
Cobalt blue eyes scanned the kanji before smirking when he realized that the original had ran into a team that already had both scrolls.
"What scrolls did they have?" the original asked as he walked up from where he had buried his two opponents into the ground with only their heads above ground.
"They had both scrolls, boss," the clone answered as he handed them over to him. "It would seem that they wanted to take out the competition."
…My Line…
'It's no use,' the Uchiha thought. 'I can't move.'
"I expected you to be more of a challenge. How disappointing."
The Grass Ninja let the kunais fly through the air.
'Move,' the Uchiha thought. 'You've got to move, Sasuke. Move. Move!' He raised his kunai into the air. 'MOVE!'
He brough the kunai down onto his own leg at the same time as Raika biting down on her lower lip before the two of took off quickly.
'He overcame the fear with pain. So, this prey is not so hopeless after all.'
…My Line…
"NO!" The dark hair Genin threw shurikens at the snake. "STAY AWAY!"
The shurikens all hit the snake inside of its mouth which killed it before the two Genin gasped as it started to crack open.
"I can sense your fear and desperation," the Grass Ninja stated as she stood up from inside of the snake. "It's only natural. The prey must never let down it's guard, not even for a moment in the presence…" The enemy looked up at them. "Of its predator."
The female pre-teen let out a gasp as the Grass Ninja moved up the tree like a snake until someone threw some shuriken and kunai to stop her path.
"Looks like I'm came just in time!" Naruto was heard saying.
"ANIKI!" Raika called out.
"Oh, by the way!" Naruto said with a smirk on his face. "What was that password again?"
…My Line…
"Ok, so anyway," Naruto spoke up. "What is the password again?"
"I know it's you, Aniki," Raika deadpanned before she let out a sigh of relief. "But, you made it."
"NARUTO, YOU AND RAIKA NEED TO GET OUTTA HERE!" Sasuke shouted much to the greenette's surprise. "WHAT'RE YOU THINKING?! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE UP AGAINST! HURRY!" Raika blinked a bit in even more surprise. "GO NOW WHILE YOU BOTH STILL CAN!"
Naruto hummed as he stared at Sasuke.
"So, Naruto," the Grass Ninja said as she looked at him. "You managed to escape from my friend. Well, done."
'I get it,' Naruto thought. 'That wasn't some random giant snake attack.' Rin's eyes were wide as her mind flashed back to the snake. 'The snake was sent by her or it or whatever this demon is.'
'It can't be,' the Miran thought in shock. 'Could this ninja really be Him?'
She narrowed her eyes at the enemy in front of them.
'They don't get it,' the Uchiha thought. 'They don't know what their dealing with. What do I do?'
"Ok, ok, I don't know what's going on here, but you've been picking on my friends, and I don't like that!" Naruto said as he pointed at her.
'Friends?' Rin thought. 'Since when have Uchiha been his friend? Teammate? Yes. Annoyance? Oh, defiantly. Friend? No chance in hell.'
"So, you just better slither on back into your hole snake-lady before I make a pair of shoes out of ya!"
'Little idiot,' both Sasuke and Raika thought.
'He's just going to get all four of us killed,' the raven thought. 'I've got to do something, but what?'
The greenette looked at the Uchiha in thought.
'What is he thinking?'
It was then that a thought hit him though he didn't want to do it, but he knew that he was going to have to just to keep them alive.
'It's no use,' Sasuke thought. 'There is only one choice.' The Uchiha deactivated the Sharingan. "You can have it." Everyone looked over at him in surprise as he reached into his scroll pouch and pulled out the Heave scroll. "The scroll, right?" The raven tossed the scroll into his right hand. "That's what you want. Alright ten, take it and leave us in peace."
"Huh?"
"Huh?"
"NO FUCKING WAY!" the greenette yelled in shock as she tried to wrap her head around what Sasuke was doing.
"Sasuke are you crazy or what?" the blonde asked in answer. "We're just gonna hand the scroll over to the enemy?" He pointed at the said enemy. "NO WAY! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?"
"SHUT UP AND STAY OUT OF IT!" Sasuke ordered Naruto.
"WHAT?!"
"Very wise, very sensible," the enemy told Sasuke. "Sometimes the helpless prey, if they are to save their own skins, will realize that their only hope is to distract the predator with something even more precious."
The two of them stared each other down for a bit.
"Take it," Sasuke told him as he threw the scroll to the fake Grass Ninja making the others to gasp, but Naruto jumped in and grabbed the scroll at the last minute. "STOP PLAYING THE DAMN HERO!" The blonde landed on the same branch as him. "JUST STAY OUT OF THIS AND LEAVE IT TO ME!" The Uzumaki punched the Uchiha suddenly making Raika to gasp as the raven landed on branch behind him, glaring up at Naruto. "Stupid fool, you don't know what you're doing!"
"I may not know the password, but I know who I am," Naruto stated as he panted. "You're the one, I'm not so sure about. How do we know that your, who you say you are?"
"What sort of nonsense is this?" Sasuke asked. "It's me, you loser!"
"Actually," the Miran finally spoked up. "I have to agree with Naruto on this one." She jumped from where she was and landed next to the blonde. "If you're really Sasuke then how come your panicking?"
"Lair," Naruto growled. "Lair! You may look just like him. You may sound just like him, but there's no way you're the Sasuke I know! I don't care how tough of a fight you've been through. Surrendering? Giving up the scroll?" Raika glared at Sasuke as Naruto pointed at him. "When did Sasuke become such a coward? You keep saying I don't under what's going on, but I do. You choked, that's what it is!"
"Sad, but true," the enemy agreed making the greenette to glare as he stood up. "It doesn't matter. As far as the scroll goes, I could simply kill you and take it."
The green hair hidden Senju let out a gasp when he lifted up his sleeve to reveal a tattoo and she knew what kind of tattoo it was, too. The Grass Ninja bit his thumb before he spread the blood onto the tattoo.
"Oh yeah?" Naruto asked as he pulled a kunai. "Let's see you try it?"
"Don't! Sasuke yelled after the blonde, who charged to attack. "NARUTO, NO!"
'Forget Sasuke,' Naruto thought as Raika started to go through hand seals, herself. 'I'm just going to have to do this myself.'
"Summoning Jutsu," Raika and the Grass Ninja said at the same time.
The wind picked up around the enemy ninja as a snake appeared at the same time a silver stripped, white furred tiger that was the height as the snake.
"Kitten," the tiger growled in male tone. "You know that you are not supposed to summon us bigger tigers until you are Jonin."
"I know," Raika stated. "And I apologize breaking that rule, but look in front of us." The said tiger did as ask before his growling deep and took on more of a hateful tone. "As you can see, I need your help, Torahiro."
"Very well," Torahiro said as he got ready to move. "You have a good reason for summoning me, but make sure that you don't summon my sister until your make it to the Jonin rank. Understood?"
"Understood," the Miran agreed.
"I really hate snakes," the tiger growled.
Torahiro allowed her to jump off his head and land next to Sasuke, but it was then that she took notice of the wind still blowing.
"NARUTO!" Raika called out.
Naruto quickly got out of the way as the snake hit a tree just before the panther that Raika's summons jumped onto the snake and bite into it.
…My Line…
"That is no way to treat a Buddha," a man from the first exam said as they three of them stood in front of the Buddha statues.
"What do you think?" Izumo asked. "Some of jutsu?"
"All I know is…" Kotetsu sighed. "Is that it's a problem." He hummed as he scratched his head. "Just when things were running so smoothly. What a drag. We've got to report this. Go get the proctor."
"Right," the third one agreed before he left quickly.
…My Line…
"Nothing makes dangos go down like a little sweet red bean soup," Anko sighed as she took a drink of the said soup while sitting on the booth outside of the Forest of Death. "Nice." She then eat a dango. "I guess it's about that time. Soon after I finish my little snack, I'll go see how the kiddies are doing." She then eat the last dango. "The quicker ones will be finishing soon, so I guess that I'll go greet them at the tower." Anko then threw the wooden stick that the dangos were on at a tree that has many more. "There. A perfect Leaf Village Symbol."
The said symbol was shown to just that a perfect symbol of Konoha. The violette let out a giggle as she chewed her last dango with a smile just as one of her helpers appeared.
"Sorry for the intrusion ma'am, but we've got a problem."
"What sort of problem?"
"Corpses ma'am. Three of them."
"Come on," Anko sighed. "I'm trying to eat here."
"I think you'll want to see them. There is something strange about them."
"Besides being dead?" the Jonin asked after swallowing.
…My Line…
Anko walked to look at them as the wind blew.
"I went through their belongs to find their Identification," Kotetsu informed her. "Ninja from the Hidden Grass Village. All register for the Chunin Exams. They weren't just killed…"
"All their faces," Anko said in shock. "They're gone."
"Yeah," he agreed with her. "There is nothing where their faces use to be. Like they melted or something."
Anko reached up the left side of her neck.
'No doubt about it,' the Mitarashi thought. 'This is his jutsu. Why is he here? What is he doing at the Chunin Exams?' "Okay." Anko turned to her left. "I need photos on what these three looked like. Where are their IDs?"
"Right here ma'am."
He then handed the IDs over to her.
'So, this is the face that he stole,' she thought with anger. 'Had it already happened when…'
Her mind went back to before the start of the second exam.

"I was just returning your knife."
…My Line…
"We've got big trouble," Anko said as she faced her men. "Okay, get moving! Tell Lord Hokage exactly what's happened here! And while you're at you better tell ANBU Black Ops that they better get a couple of convoys over to the Forest of Death." She turned around, but still looked over her shoulder. "Meanwhile, I am going to head after these guys! NOW GO!"
"Right," the three men all agreed before leaving quickly.
'He's come. He's here in the Hidden Leaf Village.'
…My Line…
The snake thrashed about as the panther started to tear it apart before the Grass Ninja got involved.
"Torahiro!" Raika yelled as her summon was forced to return to its realm by the enemy.
Naruto was kneeling on a tree painting as he glared up at the snake.
"What a taste little meal you'll make for him," the Ninja said. "Careful he likes to play with his food."
The snake swung its tail and sent Naruto flying into a tree branch coughing up blood.
"NARUTO!" the other two yelled.
"Enough playing," the Grass Ninja told the snake. "Finish him off."
The greenette started to move as she was the close to Naruto, but ended up stopping at the evil KI that appeared when Naruto opened his eyes to reveal that they were red with slits instead of blue.
"Yeah?" Naruto asked. "Well, eat this!"
The blonde than kicked the snake on the nose which caused it to shake.
"But, how? It's impossible."
The Miran stood by watching in surprise as Naruto attacked the snake like there was no tomorrow.
'The Kyuubi's chakra is slipping through the seal,' Raika thought in worry before letting out a gasp as the enemy blew flames at her brother. "NARUTO!" She ran through hand signs quickly. 'Water Style: Water Bullets!'
The green hair Genin spit bullet like balls made of water that collided with the flames, but the explosion that was caused sent the blonde Genin back a bit.
"That fire in his eyes," the Grass Ninja stated. "There is no mistaking it." He then looked over at the redhead. 'And that greenette. Her level of Ninjutsu is amazing.' He narrowed his eyes as the figures of a silver hair man and a green hair woman overlapped the Miran. 'I wonder if she is their daughter.' However, the face another silver hair man also overlapped her. 'But, her control of the water element. While not at the same level yet is still very similar to the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju.'
"Wow," Sasuke breathed in awe and shock. "Is that Naruto?"
'Oh, things have just gotten very interesting,' the Grass Ninja thought before he looked at Sasuke while smirking. "Now then, let's see how well you do, Sasuke."
The snake that he summoned and was standing on began to charge towards the putrefied Uchiha.
"Uchiha, look out!" Raika yelled as she jumped in front of him to block the attack.
Sasuke let out a cry of fear that rung throughout the forest.

'This could be bad,' Anko thought as she raced through the trees. 'Got to hurry…and pray that I am not too late.'
…My Line…
Raika started with wide eyes as Naruto stood in front of her and Sasuke having blocked the snake himself.
"Hey, kid," Naruto said as he panted. "You're not hurt, are ya?" His team continued to stare at him surprise as the blonde looked up to stare at Sasuke. "You scaredy cat!"
'Naruto?' Sasuke thought in shock.
…My Line…
"Hey."
"Yeah?"
"You're not hurt, are you?" Sasuke asked as he looked at him. "Scaredy cat."
This pissed the blonde off.
"SASUKE!"
…My Line…
"Standing there frozen like a frightened rabbit," Naruto growled as he glared at the Uchiha. "No way! You're not the Sasuke, I know!" It was then that Orochimaru used his tongue to life Naruto up into the air. "HEY! OH, MAN! DISGUSTING! PUT ME DOWN BEFORE I YANK THIS TONGUE OUT OF YOUR HEAD!"
'Interesting,' the snake thought as he looked at the blonde. 'So, the Kyuubi brat lives.' He then formed a hand sign before putting his face close to Naruto's. "I see, when you anger is aroused some of the Kyuubi's chakra is released." He fingers started to glow purple. "What an interesting childhood you must have had." Orochimaru then used his tongue to lift Naruto's jacket and shirt. "The spell that seals him within you has appeared on your skin."
The snake then moved his hand back a bit.
"NARUTO!" Raika yelled as she moved to save him, however, Sasuke stopped her making the redhead to glare at him. "Let go of me, Uchiha."
"Don't be an idiot, Raika," the dark hair Genin told her. "You'll get yourself killed."
"That is my Aniki!" she growled. "If you think that I am going to leave him like that…"
"SHUT UP!" the Uchiha yelled.
The Miran stared at him shock before her eyes narrowed.
"Five Prong Seal!" Orochimaru called out as he slammed his fingers into Naruto's stomach.
A scream got her attention making Raika to snap her head towards the two.
"NARUTO!" the greenette screamed as the blonde fainted.
'For 12 years the seal has remained unbroken,' the snake thought as he reached into Naruto's hip pouch. 'Soon the demon's and this boy's chakra will be as one.' He then took the scroll out. 'But, for now he is just in my way.'
Orochimaru then tossed Naruto behind him.
'There's no way that he'll survive that fall!' Raika thought in horror as she pulled out a kunai while moving. "Hang on." The greenette threw caught the blonde's jacket and pierced the tree behind him. 'Oh, thank God.' She quickly made her way to the Uzumaki and got him down. "Uchiha!" The Miran turned to the Uchiha. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" The green hair pre-teen looked over at him to see that he was shaking with fear. 'Is he…afraid.'
The greenette started to glare at Orochimaru as she created a shadow clone.
"Water Style…"
"Lightening Style…"
"Water Shockwave!"
"Electromagnetic Murder!"
The two jutsus combined with each other making the two jutsus stronger.
"Combination: Electro Storm Wave!"
"A combination jutsu," Orochimaru breathed in awe before he dodged. 'I just might have to take her as well during the invasion in a month.'
"Uchiha, I repeat," the greenette said as she turned him. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?" She watched him for a moment before narrowing her eyes. "Okay. Say what you want about Naruto. That he's a pest. That he's just in the way. That he's just a kid. But, at least he's doing something…at least…he's not coward!"
…My Line…
"Foolish little brother," Itachi Uchiha stated. "You can't kill me. Your hates not strong enough. You're not strong enough. Your life is too precious to you. So, run. That's right run away and live with the shame."
…My Line…
'NO!' Sasuke thought as he activated his Sharingan.
Raika looked at him for a moment before smirking as she looked back at Orochimaru.
'It's happened at least,' the rogue Sannin thought. 'He's Uchiha blood has come to a boil at last.'
"Now that's more like it," the green hair pre-teen breathed with a slight smile.
'I think that I will play with him,' the man thought. 'And learn the full existent of his powers.' He then looked at the Miran. 'And maybe, I might even learn more about the little Senju and her own powers as well.'
The snake laughed as his summons vanished and stood on a branch across from the two teammates.
