While Herbert was at Rocket and Nebula's house examining an age-regressed Rocket and Rocke, Ranger was quiet despite Bud holding his paw and Blossom, their sweet sapling was on his back which was calming him making Rocket Senior understand. He knew that his eldest kit might find him being with somebody else other than Eleanor was strange for him compared to Rocket but Herbert understood because his big, fluffy marshmallow had explained to him, that Ranger might take a while to warm up to him.
"Thankfully they're just physically regressed buddy, but Ranger's very quiet and his friend is keeping him calm." Herbert said to Rocket Senior relieving them including Rocket and Rocke. "Hey there Ranger, all good." Herbert said while they were having a snack seeing Rocket and Rocke enjoying the cookies and milk. "Yeah sir." Ranger said quietly surprising Rocket as he knew his big bro was shy but not this shy. "You should help him, you're his brother." Rocke whispered to Rocket.
"Yeah, you have a point but Bud can also help." Rocket told him. Rocket now knowing he was a mutant and Emily, Casey, Sasha and Shocket were mutants, maybe his dad was one too, he just didn't know unaware Herbert noticed he was thinking coming over as Rocket whispered into his ear. "I don't see why not, I have one of the testing devices." he told him making Rocket Senior curious as Herbert told himto put hisfurry finger in the scanner as it scanned it, revealing he was a mutant impressing Ranger but Rocket Senior was quiet about this.
"I'm okay guys, don't worry." he said softly seeing Herbert hug him saying he still loved him telling him he was a mutabt too which gave him comfort kissing Herbert before he left but Rocket Senior was going with him which Ranger got but was quiet aboht it going to the greenhouse talking to what he was growing unaware Bud could hear shiveribg from the wintery weather guessing the greenhouse was his sweet furboy's safe-space so left him be seeing Nebula back wondering where Rocket Senior and Ranger were. "Dad went with Herbert and Ranger's in his greenhouse and think he's sad." Rocket told her making her smile as him being physically lil was adorable
"Ranger everything alright, you've been quiet since ohr dads left akong with dad finding out he's a mutant plus you were in the greenhouse a really lomg time, and Bud had to make you coffee." Ranger heard Rocket asking. He was finding his lil brother's concern sweet but he didn't feel good, feeling run down, his snout and head hurt, he'd been sneezing and coughing but feeling not good and hiding it because he didn't want anybody to worry or make a deal about it like their mom, Eleanor when he was young.
"I'm okay Rocket, don't worry okay." Ranger told him seeing Rocket get it leaving his and Bud's room sitting on the couch with Nebula. "He said he's fine and not to worry." he said but Bud noticed the frown so would tryto find a way to findout what was going on with his sweet yokel and help him.
