How do you know?" the tallest teen got in Miguel's bubble. Asking what the other three wouldn't.

Think, think. Miguel could feel sweat running down his back, "You can always just ask her to try it. She'll let you, as long as you have a cup."

"A cup?" Hobie turned his nose up, "We don't half- ss things around here. Get it from the source."

That joke didn't land as well as he might have hoped. But Miguel's fist did, into his forehead. Then he landed into the floor, groaning and holding his head in pain.

Miguel rolled his eyes, walking away, spewing insults and unflattering remarks in spanish.

"Ok," punk whined from the ground, "I may have deserved that."

"May have?" Gwen raised a brow at the uncertainty in that statement.

Miles kneeled down, "I think it goes without saying, looks like that hurt."

Pav shook his head, going back to watch the mom, "You think she will let us try it?"

"Huh?" Jess looked at the array of teens standing at her table.

"Just a little?" They let Pav do the talking for this. They were sure he could get them some if anyone.

"I…Ok? Get yourselves some cups," she shrugged.

With that verbal agreement they scurried away. Kids are weird. Spiderwoman shook her head, not looking forward to that with Gunner.

By the time the four returned she had removed her pumping apparatus.

"Here," she opened a fresh bag and split it between Hobie and Pavitr, before opening another to split between Gwen and Miles, "Don't waste it. That's my baby's food you're playing with."

They had the nectar they had asked for. Funny, none of them moved too quickly as Jess cleaned up the area.

"Who goes first?" Miles asked stiffly.

They all looked to Hobie, who, surprisingly, had a blush across his face and shuffled some.

"Uh…On three, we do it all at the same time?" he suggested.

Everyone agreed and counted down. It was no surprise when one came and no one moved. They all had nervous laughs until Pav inhaled deeply and began chugging his. With one person down the other three shared an expression and began sipping.

"Ah!" Spiderman India licked his lip, glancing into the cup to make sure there wasn't a drop left, "Miguel was right. It does taste like vanilla. But not like straight vanilla, but just vanilla flavored milk."

"It's like a really melted vanilla shake," Miles nodded.

Gwen raised her eyebrows, "Would make a pretty good frappe."

"I want a frappe," her boyfriend groaned.

Hobie nodded, rubbing the knot on his forehead, "Compliments to the chef," he waved his cup at Jess.

"Glad you guys find it appealing," she rolled her eyes to their antics.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry," Mig bent down, following where his ear was pulled.

"Don't be over here convincing those little weirdos to try my milk," Jess scolded, "I know I produce a lot, but I'm not the spiderverse's grocery store."

"Sorry, it slipped out," he whined, holding her arm, "Please, may I have my ear back?"

Virgil danced about the kitchen with his baby on his sling. Music was playing loud enough to be enjoyed, but not so loud it would bother the baby.

"Welcome back," he didn't even turn around, hearing the portal, "How was visiting your friends?"

"Was fine," Miguel looked around the house, "Is Jess home?" she had left a few hours before him. Shortly after she left he went to his dimension for a spell.

"Mommy went out to get her nails done and some other things. So it's just daddy and his boys," he finally turned, "Come hang out with us in the kitchen."

Mig hurried in, leaning over the stove, "What are you making?"

"Mommy is away so it's time for daddy's famous chillay," he smirked, opening the pot to give Miguel a steam facial, "It's about ready," he stirred the content.

Mig watched as he pulled a spoonful out and blew on it, "Ah." 2099 opened his mouth, leaning forward and getting a mouthful, "How is it?"

"Mmm," he nodded. It had been a while since he had chili. It was nicely seasoned, "Very good."

"Good answer," he squeezed his boy's chin, "Go wash your hands and we're going to watch a movie and eat."

"Right," he hurried to the restroom to clean up.

After all he just had to deal with, he was starving.

Miguel liked Jess' husband. He seemed so down to earth. Virgil was a man who put family first and always made sure everyone got the care they needed. He was half the reason Miguel felt so welcome and safe at this house.

"There he is," daddy smiled, "I'm thinking something spy. What about you? If not spy, how about a mystery?"

"I want to do a spy movie," Miguel nodded, "Please."

"How can I turn down such a polite boy?" He cupped his chin, causing Mig to melt, "You sit with Gunner while I make our bowls and get his dinner."

Mig nodded, taking the baby to the front, "Did he do tummy time yet?"

"He hated every moment of it."

"I haven't known any babies who enjoy it," he put Gunner on his play mat. The infant's eyes lit up seeing his favorite hanging toys.

Miguel watched the baby lay for a few moments, before standing to set up the tray tables and get cups.

"Aren't you my helpful boy?" Virgil set the bowls down, "Would you please pour daddy some juice? I am parched."

He nodded, pouring the man a full cup of juice as well as himself before returning to the front.

"Tell me about your day?" Virgil gave Miguel his attention.
