So with any Cinderella story you're obligated to mention shoes, so here while Leonardo is being transformed we bring up the shoes that I forgot to mention the shoes are inspired by a Chinese version of Cinderella
As Leonardo was with the secret Mage Mentor, his brothers paced and waited anxiously, to try to pass the time, Mikey began a conversation with Ari.
"So…" Mikey said "...Did anyone get a look at Challa's shoes? Those were some pretty funky looking shoes! Shaped like fish!"
"Carp I believe…" Ari said as he was a bit busy in his thoughts, like Leonardo he was also worried about Chanchalla's safety.
"They looked a little big on her…" Don said as it seemed those shoes seemed to have been made for a Janah of larger size like maybe a Tiger or an Ox
"I mean…" Mikey said "...I know during the Disco years, I know people had shoes with fish IN them but that's the first time I saw shoes shaped like fish!"
Ari perked up his ears "Fish IN shoes? How does that work?"
Mikey chuckled as he tried to think how to explain in "It's like...The shoes have tanks with little fish built into them."
"How does one feed the fish?" Ari asked
"Uh...Well…" Mikey rubbed the back of his head "...The fish can't be fed, they kind of...Die in there..."
"That sounds incredibly cruel to let the fish starve to death in there…" Ari said "...If one if going to use Suthra for fashion then at the very least kill them and end their suffering, those who keep living Suthra armor and weapons do their best to care for them."
That made the Turtles think, that people in times and places that were closer to nature, even when they used animals understood them better than 'modern' societies
Just then, Sadaak and Puni returned, and with them came someone who looked like a Janah Red-Eared Slider...He wore a blue jacket and pantaloons but with a stolen red caste braid to indicate he was Sunborn, the familiar blue mask was to let everyone who knew him know who he was.
"Whoa Bro!" Mikey exclaimed "How do you feel?"
"Strange…" Leo familiar voice came out of a toothless beak instead of the familiar snout "...Really I feel the worst part is this bigger more cumbersome shell, it's harder to move with this as well as these clothes!"
"Huh…" Don rubbed his chin "...You still sound like your normal self despite your completely different anatomy…"
"The Laughing Hand speculated is because he knows no other way to talk thus his voice isn't changed…" Sadaak said "...Since the translation spell Chanchalla cast doesn't actually teach us the other language we're just hearing each other speak in the language we understand…"
So the consequences of a 'Translation Spell' get fleshed out
