It was the next morning and Casey was beginning to stir from awesome dreams of being Raccoon Girl rubbing sleep from her eyes sensing Rocket was up with Groot making her sigh leaving her room flying downstairs and entering the kitchen seeing her dad reading the paper and Groot and Rocket were eating cereal surprising her. Normally when she woke up, their dad wasn't there so it was weird he was here which Rocket understood saying their dad was taking the day off to take her school shopping which made her quiet hoping Rocket wouldn't notice or make comments.
"Mmmmm the cereal's good daddy. It's intresting you're here when we woje up." she said making their dad chuckle.
"I don't have any missions, or jobs at the moment so I have time, to spend with you and your brother along with Groot." he told her. She smiled showing her baby fangs making Rocket chuckle at his sis
"After breakfast, you have to get dressed so we can go." Rocket Senior said to her seeing her nodding eating cereal plus Groot and Rocket were staying home but not allowed to do crazy science projects seeing them nodding. Rocket smiled as he saw his dad and Casey leaving the house for the day going to play video games as maybe later he and his dad could do science things having a major Space Invaders tournament and Rocket giggled making explosion noises everytime Groot and him hit ships giggling.
"I am Groot." Groot told him as he was drinking soda. After Rocket Senior had left with Casey, he and Rocket had raided the fridge finding soda but also straws plus Groot rested his lil barky head agaibst a cushion. "Hmmm my dad and Casey will be gobe for a long while. I'll make us sandwiches for lunch." he told Groot making the male-sapling grin.
When Casey and Rocket Senior got home, they found both Groot and Rocket sleepy as they'd also played outside in the backyard like playing on the tire swibg their dad had made after they'd moved into the house along with playing in the tree fort amusibg Rocket Senior carrying them upstairs to theur room tucking them in, kissing their heads then leaving them be.
"Yep, your bro and Groot are asleep but guess you're sleepy too." he told her carrying her upstairs to her room tucking her in beside her stuffed Groot, Branchie kissing her furry head leaving her room knowing he'd have peace and quiet for a bit chuckling but putting groceries away.
