"..." I was struck silent by this bear's nonsense but I shook my head as my rage once again took the reigns
"Stop talking nonsense! You are not funny just undo this already!" I spat out anger rising further and further
"What do you mean I am talking nonsense? I am simply telling you the truth. The beloved by nobody, Hajime Hinata is dead. The unfortunate first victim of the killing school trip." The bear spoke looking at me dead in the eye
"You're talking absolute nonsense!" I yelled at him once again
" ' You're talking nonsense, You're talking nonsense' is that the only words you know or are that shocked that Hajime is dead? Were you in love with him or something phuhuhuh!" The damn bear mocked and laughed at me
My anger was at its peak I was tired of this damn bear's nonsensical talk
And so without thinking or without worry, I ran towards the damn stuffed animal but it seemed destiny disagreed with me for as I started to run I stepped on one of the pill bottles that I dumped out of my apron earlier, and just like that; like a cartoon character stepping on a banana peel I slipped and fell
"AHHH!" I yell out as land on my back and my legs dramatically fall up into the air
"Phuhuhu I guess you should count yourself lucky as if you didn't fall I would of have to punish you," The bear said with a joyous tone
"Hehe I doubt what the bear is saying but I have to agree that this lucky" Terteru said as he stepped in front of me a dribble of blood coming out his nose
"Kyaha! I agree this is a nice view" Ibuki stated as she walked right next to Teruteru
"Huh?... AH!" I deep blush came over my face as I realized what those two were looking at and with that, I quickly got up and started to pat down my skirt
'I am so sorry Mikan please forgive me' I thought feeling incredibly sorry for her but then a darker thought took its place
'I am going to kill that damn bear for this, I bet you agree with me, huh, Mikan?' but before I could perform said act another voice came forth
"What did you mean earlier about 'The unfortunate first victim of the killing school trip'?" Looking towards the owner of the voice it surprisingly was Chiaki
"Phuhuhu finally gonna ask me?" The monochromatic bear asked
"I don't care anything about that I am gonna kill that thing for fucking with my body!" I yell
"Really I would think out of everyone you wouldn't mind Haj-Mikan," The bear said with what felt like an increasing large smile as if he was telling an inside joke only a few would get
"Hey Hajime, Please wait let's see what he is talking about" Chiaki's hand was on my shoulder as she tried to calm me down
"Why should I?" I ask with a slightly less harsh voice
"Well, If he can do this to both you and Monomi he can probably do a lot worse" Chiaki spoke calmly and with sound reasoning
'She's right I guess'
Taking a couple of deep breaths I nodded my rage still there ready to burst at the seems but I shall wait
"So It seems that I have everyone's attention I shall begin let's go to the explanation of the killing school trip It's pretty simple" Monokuma then paused and waited for dramatic effect
"All you have to do is kill each other" Monokuma then paused for everyone's reaction
"Kill each other...I...see… K-KILL EACH OTHER!?" Kazuichi yelled what Monokuma said finally clicking
"Wh-What are you saying!? That's impossible!" Teruteru screamed as he tore at his hair
"Well, don't you think it's kinda lame and boring that you can't leave the island unless you all get along? So I'm changing the rules! If you want to get off this island, then please kill one of your friends! And then, make it through the class trial without getting caught" Monokuma informed us
"Class trial?" Chiaki asked
"That's right! The class trial is the real charm of this killing school trip! If one of you gets murdered the surviving members must participate in the class trial! At the class trial, there will be a showdown between the blackened killer and the other spotless students. During the trial, you'll present your arguments about who you think the blackened is. The outcome will be decided by popular vote and if you arrive at the correct answer only the blackened killer will be punished. The rest may continue their school trip. However, if you choose poorly… then the one who got away with the murder will survive, and the rest of you will receive your punishment. As far as the class trial rules go… that's all there is to it! Which means, if you kill someone and make it through the class trial, you get to live and leave this island. However, if you are found guilty during the class trial, then you will be punished. Phuhu, it's a familiar but simple rule, right?" Monokuma expositioned
"Y-You said I was the first victim what is that supposed to mean?" I ask slightly afraid at what the bear was about to say
"Phuhu oh don't worry that murder happened before the rules were applied so I have no reason to punish you...though I should still give a warning..." Monokuma then stopped and seemed to begin to think
"Wait are you sa-" before I could question further Kazuichi came forth interrupting me
"Wait you keep saying punishment over and over what is the deal with that? "
Snapping out of what seemed to be him thinking Monokuma happily explained
"Basically… it's an execution"
"E-Execution!?" Sonia yelled out terrified
"The pleasing punishment that follows the class trial! This is one of the perks of the killing school trip. Phuhuhu, what sort of spine-tingling punishments will we see? I can't help it, I'm already getting excited! There may even be some unique punishments, like impaling you through the head with a Thingamajig Claw!" Monokuma yelled out his voice dripping with excitement and for some reason, I sort of felt that excitement of the possibility of killings that can happen but I calmed myself down as I tried to take my thoughts of that
"Ahem, any method of killing is fine. Popular ones like bludgeoning, stabbing, strangling, and poisoning to shooting, beating, running over, burning, bombing, slashing, drowning, electrocution, crushing, cursing or you can be like Mikan and totally destroy someone's mind there is no time limit, so you can kill as you please… it's an All-You-Can-Murder Buffet… A theme park of murder… That's what this killing school trip is all about!" Monokuma yelled at the top of his stuffed animal lungs
'Wait, what he said about me what did he mean!? Was he substituting my name for Miakn again… did I... kill...Mikan?' even though I never meet this girl I still felt a gut-wrenching feeling as despair slowly took its course but for some reason… it… didn't feel bad...actually it felt… kinda good… as my mind tried to decipher what was happening things were still happening
"D-Don't fuck with me" Fuyuhiko yelled out his rage getting close to mine
"Th-That's right! You and that chick have been talking nonsense but at least what she is saying is somewhat believable!" Kazuichi yelled
"Phuhuh so you believe her over me that it is interesting even after I said she murdered someone?" Monokuma asked with a tilted head
"I won't believe any of this… I don't believe any of this… I don't believe any of this" Teruteru stuttered
"Wh-What if nobody ever gets murdered? Does that mean we'll never leave this island?" Mahiru asked
"Who knows!? Anyway, I'd like for you all to go through with this killing school trip in a healthy and positive manner" Monokuma answered with a childish tone
"W-Wait just a minute! Why do we have to do this!?" Mahiru once again asked
"Well, it's obvious. There's a reason you all need to kill each other."
"Hold on… You've been running your mouth for quite some time now… I don't want to get violent, but if I do, I have no idea what might happen!" Nekomaru yelled
"What, a fight? Do I need to beat the carp outta that black-and-white bear?" Akane asked moving her arm in a circle
"Who would dare try to kill…? I'll put a stop to it, with force if necessary." Peko said reaching for her bamboo sword
"If you keep saying stupid stuff, the athletes in our group are gonna lose their patience!" Ibuki yelled while walking behind Nekomaru
"Ah, is that so….? Well, I guess I expected this reaction… If you guys wanna do things by force, then I'll have to fight back with a little force of my own... "
"M-Monokuma you've already done so much stop this at once!" Monomi yelled
Unfazed by Monomi's pleading Monokuma continued
"Surge… O gods who dwell between light and darkness…. In accordance with our contract, I summon thee now… Come forth Monobeasts!"
Hearing the bear chant brought me out of my questioning and what I saw was strange beyond belief the bronze statue started to crack apart as they slowly revealed machine version of each of the creatures they then dramatically jumped fell right next to Monokuma
'Impossible...Impossible, impossible, Impossible, Impossible…' my mind repeated this was the final straw that broke the camel's back
"Huh...huh…?" Sonia yelled out
"Wh-Why… did the statue move?" Mahiru asked with a terrified voice
"That's no statue! They're Monobeasts!" Monokuma informed
"M-M-M-M-Monster!" Kazuichi yelled out
"No, I just said they're Monobeasts!" Monokuma said irritated that people aren't listening
The strange thing about genuine surprise is that when it happens, your voice won't let you express it. I…was forced to accept that. All this might of been normal in anime and video games And that's precisely why… I couldn't grasp the reality of this situation I couldn't even feel fear. All I could do was stand aghast
"Th-This is I-Impossible Me B-Being I-In a-a d-different body s-somewhat p-possible but that a-and this n-no n-not possible" my mouth spoke what I was thinking before my mind could catch up to everything I gripped my head and started to softly mutter

"Am I… having a nightmare or something…?" Fuyuhikio questioned softly
"Kyahahah! Look at the lying pig barf she is falling apart!" Hiyoko said pointing at me
"Jeez...you guys sure are a skeptical bunch if something doesn't fit within your narrow notions of common sense, you just deny it outright. How stupid. Ignorant cavemen are better than you all! Classifying events according to their genre is a disease of the modern age" Monokuma said with a voice like he was imitating a teacher
"Everone! Please stay back! I-I will protect everyone! Even at the cost of my own life… I will protect everyone!" Monomi yelled out I stopped muttering to see what the bunny would do next
"Hurk! What's this Blugrh… Ugh…Ah, I know! This is Nausea! Your sickly sweet sense of justice makes me wanna puke! All righty then, it's decided! You'll be my example to everyone" then without any warning what so ever Monkuma jumped on top of the Bird Monobeast which showed that it had a minigun attached to it Monokuma then began to wag his arm-stub up and down and with that, the Monobeast began to fire at Monomi leave absolutely nothing left and even the tree she was next was totally destroyed while he was decimating Monomi one of the bullets whizzed past my face leaving a small cut on my cheek and then once again something clicked
"No, no, no! Noooo!" I yell out as the last possibility of being fixed just died before my eyes I could feel myself breathe harder and harder as reality slammed harder against me and I guess that I wasn't the only one, though the other's who were screaming weren't screaming for the same reason I was but still
I started to shake my head denying it though disturbingly as I denied this happening and despair took over I felt a strange feeling took over it was… like arousal, it was strange terrifying… but it felt so... good! I could hear my breath coming out harsher and my legs grow weaker as the despair grew and what was worse I felt disgusted that I was feeling this which made it also feel so much better
"Hah...hah" I let out the feeling growing so powerfu~l
"Phuhuhu, Mikan, try to relax I know despair is a great feeling but please wait till you get to your cottage. HAHAHAHAH!" Monokuma let out a giant laugh but I couldn't care less as I tried to contain this great feeling spreading throughout my body as I could feel my entire body heat up
"Hah...hah"
"Now then, I believe I've made my point…. Just so we're clear, you guys can't defy me if you don't want to end up as fish food, you better not disobey me! Just so you know… I don't feel mercy or sympathy. Cuz I am a bear, after all an excuse like, 'I got high off this tropical atmosphere,' won't work on me at all!
