(Third Person POV) Location: Vale, LBC Headquarters
An Aura-coated fist meets the face of a Warhammer, but instead of making physical contact, a red orb of energy appears between them, and electricity of the same color as the orb is furiously emitted from it.
Consecutive shockwaves of destruction emanated from the collision, and both individuals who caused this reaction were doing everything they could not to separate.
Both wanted to know who was superior in strength, and slowly yet surely, Ezekiel was losing this contest of might, but he was gonna ensure this victory wasn't easy for the Morningstar heir in disguise.
Gritting his teeth in frustration, the young Newgate knew he had lost this initial engagement and had to separate himself from this clash before Draco's fist met his face.
Begrudgingly, Ezekiel broke to the side and swiftly moved to the right to narrowly evade a devastating punch from his opponent.
Despite not getting hit by Draco's attack, the young Newgate could feel the sheer power behind the attack and did not doubt that if the boy's fist hit him, a good amount of his Aura would've been depleted.
Ezekiel attempted to counterattack by slamming his right knee into the Seraph's abdomen, but before that could happen, Draco managed to block his knee with his arms. The impact created another shockwave and caused the boy to skid back a few feet.
Before the Morningstar heir could recover, a Quake Bubble coated the head of Ezekiel's Warhammer, and with a single slam to the floor, the ground shook violently, causing the teen to lose his balance slightly.
Taking this opportunity, the Newgate dashed towards the teen. He swung his Warhammer towards his face, intending to finish the spar quickly, but unfortunately for him, the Seraph ducked, narrowly avoiding a hit to the face.
Quickly retaliating, the "redhead" closed the distance and went for a telegraphed punch toward the man's ribcage, but Ezekiel blocked the teen's attack with his arm.
The Seraph grinned as he jumped on the Newgate's arm and, raising his knee, slammed it into the older man's face, causing him to grunt in pain.
Draco didn't stop at that attack as he then jumped into the air and held his leg out, intending to land an axe kick on the Newgate's skull.
However, Ezekiel lifted his Warhammer to block the attack, and Drack had to jump backward. Once his feet landed on the ground, he rushed toward the older man, and when the distance between them was closed, they exchanged attacks.
Draco's fist, elbow, knee, and foot met the massive Warhammer. Both parties were unable to land a single blow on one another, much to one's excitement and another's annoyance.
Soon, though, the stalemate was broken as Draco channeled a massive yet highly concentrated amount of Aura into his fist and then launched it at the young Newgate. When his strike met Ezekiel's Warhammer, an explosion was created, and its blast sent him crashing into a wall.
Ezekiel fell to his hands and knees and then coughed out a bit of saliva.
"Fuck, that hurt," Ezekiel groaned, he then looked at the teen. "Was that Aura Burst?" he asked, and the teen nodded.
"Yeah, pretty handy, ain't it?" Draco asked rhetorically with an amused tone. "I don't use it often, but when I do, it's generally towards people or Grim who give me a difficult time. Not many give me a hard time. Isn't that right, my fellow redhead?" Draco glanced at Erza, who was still standing in the same spot.
"Yes sir," she nodded and gave a small smile. "I remember you hitting me with that when you couldn't break my defenses when we sparred for the first time. It hurt like a bitch," she said in an amused tone, remembering the first time she was hit with the Aura Burst technique.
If she remembered correctly, nearly half of her Aura reserves were depleted.
After experiencing that kind of power, she asked Draco if he could teach her how to use the technique, to which he agreed so long as she promised never to teach to anyone else, and she agreed instantly.
Her Aura Burst technique was nowhere near as powerful as Draco's, but it certainly got the job done.
Draco smiled lightly at his second in command, but his attention quickly returned to Ezekiel. He could sense ten percent of Ezekiel's Aura was depleted, which impressed the teen.
After inspecting the downed man, he dashed towards and attempted to kick him while he was down, but Ezekiel quickly rolled to the side and got back on his feet.
"Jeez, not even gonna wait for me to get up," Ezekiel said with an amused tone, but his amusement turned to shock when the teen appeared in front of him.
"In a fight to the death, the enemy will never wait," Draco retorted, and before the Newgate could react, the teen's fist collided against the man's face.
Ezekiel stumbled back but quickly recovered and growled at the teen. His body glowed white, and he lifted his Warhammer and slammed against it, the air creating a gigantic crack.
The man then dragged the hammer on the cracked air, causing the entire area to shake violently and both teens to lose their balance. The older man then hit the air again, but this time, he sent a shockwave toward Draco, who was sent flying towards the wall.
Before he crashed into the wall, Draco flipped in the air and gracefully landed on the wall on his feet. Then he added a large quantity of Aura to his feet and jumped towards Ezekiel at sound barrier-breaking speeds.
When Draco was a meter away from the older man, he cocked his fist back, ready to land a devastating strike to his body.
Ezekiel, seeing this, summons vibrations around his body before the teen's fist makes contact with his face, and when his attack did land, the young Newgate's shield reacted violently by propelling Draco back.
Landing on his feet, Draco went on the offense and bombarded the older man with attacks. However, each time the Morningstar heir was about to land an attack, he was sent flying back by Ezekiel's defenses.
Seeing that he wouldn't be able to break through Ezekiel's defenses through normal means, the teen channeled not only Aura into his fist but also imbued it with Silver flames, causing his fist to glow white.
Draco then ran towards Ezekiel and cock his fist back, then with half of his might launched his fist towards the older man's face. His fist bypassed the Newgate's defenses and made contact with the older man's side.
Ezekiel's eyes widened at the immense pain he felt on his side. If it weren't for his Aura protecting him, he did not doubt that Draco would've broken a few of his ribs.
Getting tired of taking hits and not landing some of his own, the Newgate reinforced his hand with Aura and grabbed the teen's arm before he could pull his arm back.
The Morningstar heir attempted to break free from the older man's hold but quickly found it futile as he had a vice-like grip on his arm. The best he could do was defend himself from Ezekiel's attacks.
Lifting his Warhammer in the air and quickly imbuing it with Aura and a Quake Bubble, he slammed it against the teen's skull.
Ezekiel managed to get two more hits before the Morningstar heir blocked the last strike with the palm of his hand. Grabbing the face of the Warhammer with both of his hands, the teen yanked on the weapon while at the same time kicking the man in the crotch, making the young Newgate's eyes widen, and his grip on his Warhammer loosen, making it easy for the Morningstar heir to disarm him.
The Seraph then tossed the weapon to the side and, without mercy, unleashed a multitude of devastating strikes to the face.
Draco was about to land another punch to Ezekiel's face, but the man caught his fist and, with a Quake Bubble-enhanced fist, punched the teen in the abdomen.
Ezekiel then quickly went behind Draco, wrapped his arms around the Morningstar heir, and then slammed the teen to the ground.
The older man then quickly got up and went to kick Draco in the abdomen, but the teen was quick enough to block his attack.
As the fight continued, neither of the two ever noticed the large crowd of people watching their intense battle.
"I wonder if I should tell them it's been past two minutes," Erza said to herself with an amused tone. "They'll mostly likely continue anyways," she concluded.
The redhead knew that once her boss got battle-hungry, there was no stopping him until all of his enemies were dead or knew he couldn't win a battle.
After thirty minutes of fighting, Draco eventually ended the fight by landing a devastating uppercut that shattered Ezekiel's Aura and sent him several feet into the air. Once the older man landed on the ground, the Seraph walked up to the down man, looking at him with a pleased smile.
"You got the job," Draco informed the man, making the young Newgate smile.
"G-Great," Ezekiel responded before promptly passing out.
Draco then noticed the audience he gathered and quirked an eyebrow.
"The shows over. Get back to work," Draco ordered, and everyone but Erza quickly dispersed.
The beautiful redhead walked towards the Morningstar heir and looked down at the unconscious Ezekiel.
"He was impressive," Erza commented, and Draco nodded in agreement.
"Indeed," he lifted the man and began making his way out of the training facility. "Bring his weapon," he ordered, and she did as he commanded.
The two then made their way toward the medical center.
End.
